Quick service, even for take-away on Black Friday! That's awesome! I had katsu instead of teriyaki to broaden my horizons. It was very yummy, although their katsu sauce was a bit too thin and watery. So glad to be in a state where teriyaki shops are ubiquitous! Even if they are all run by Koreans! That just means that at some of them, I can probably get some Korean food, too! Yay! Edited (01/30/2008): Added another star for some decent take away bi bim bap, which is only available Monday - Wednesday. They make it with a sunnyside up egg on top...how delicious is that, I ask you? VERY! Edited (06/03/2008): Sadness...Nasai remodeled and is apparently cutting corners on its tasty treats by pre-cooking the meat. The last three visits there over the course of a month have proven very disappointing. Chicken, beef, even the bi bim bap...not as good as before. So disappointing =(

bad service! last friday around 6pm my friends went to buy take-outs and one of them stayed in the restaurant to wait for the food. i came out from the car and talked a little bit with my friend in there. the owner said, "hello". i said i was with them and asked for the bathroom. he heard it and totally ignored my request and went back to kitchen. rude!!

Horrible service, small portions and barely edible food. Go across the street to Yummys Teriyaki and you get waaay better food and gigantic portions.

Dry, overcooked, soy-sauce-y teriyaki. Mushy gyoza filling that felt like toothpaste. Nope.

This place used to be good. The quality dropped lately, but it was convenient to stop by and try it again today. I ordered half chicken breast, half katsu. They charged me 11 bucks, which doesn't make sense considering both katsu and chicken breast are less than 8 bucks each. I asked him about the price, and he mumbled something about ordering "off the menu". I ended up getting like 10 measly little scraps of chicken. You can get a decent meal for 11 bucks these days. You can tell they're really cutting corners. I won't be going back.

Here's another hot lunch spot for me and my coworkers. We go here all the time because the food is quick, tasty, and cheap. The service there is very friendly and the prices are around $5 or $6 for most dishes. My favorite is the general chicken with rice and the beef teriyaki. Most dishes comes with the meat, rice, and salad. Again, a nice quick stop for good lunch.

This is my favorite place to go get teriyaki. Pros: They have free miso soup with your meal. Fairly quick. Always friendly. Outdoor seating. A lot of selection compared to other teriyaki places (see white board to your left when ordering). Prices are right on par with other teriyaki places.

I really don't know why folks think Yummy Teriyaki is better, as I far prefer Nasai. Big and tasty portions, free tea and miso soup. Repeat customers card for a free meal. I have had the Teriyaki/gyoza special, short ribs, and fried rice. All good both normal and spicy... That and they don't charge for extra sauce for takeout either...

I ended up here because I got lost trying to find a place in Redmond. I got stuck on the freeway and couldn't find where to turn around. I was so hungry when I finished work and was actually on my way to dinner somewhere else...when I couldn't stand it anymore. I had to have spicy chicken teriyaki and I saw this place across the street from my car. They had funky cramped parking, there were people inside eating what looked like yummy food, and the man at the counter was very friendly. I ordered spicy chicken teriyaki and was pleased in every way with the large portions of chicken, rice and salad. Complimentary tea and miso soup, which I didn't try the miso so can't review that. I would drive out of my way to come back here for the spicy chicken again and friendly service. The only thing I didn't like was the loud radio station (Star 101.5) and next time I wouldn't choose to sit right underneath the speaker. However, after awhile the radio station had some good 80's songs that I liked, which made it all better. Spandau Ballet and teriyaki. True.

Overall a good place to get a quick bite to eat. The portions served for the price are competitive, the quality is good and the orange chicken has a good amount of meat vs just breading like other choices. The service is personable and friendly and it is clear it is a small business who cares about their guests. I was happy to find this place on LevelUp, which provides a discount for first time guests (find the app on your iPhone).

Only reason I ate here was because I was drinking beer on a empty stomach at malt and vine and needed some food. 1st off I would never eat inside here because as soon as I walked in it smelled and it wasn't teriyaki. If I was sober I would've probably walked out but ended up ordering the spicy chicken. The guy was nice and brought it over to malt and vine and it was pretty quick. As far as the food I have no complaints the spicy chicken had some spice and was served hot and house salad was decent. Just your average teriyaki store as far as taste and portion... I did have some stomach issues later that night so pro ably won't be going there again

This is my favorite spot for spicy chicken teriyaki and chicken fried rice.

Nasai is pretty nasty. I came in for lunch at 11:00 and ordered the chicken. The chicken was cold. The precooked chicken just taken out of the refer hadn't had enough time in the warming drawer to even get warm. Who knows when it was cooked. The taste of it was pretty blah. The kid at the register couldn't be bothered enough to take his earbuds out to help us. I returned about a month later and the place reeked of a gas leak. We notified the guy at the front counter but he didn't seem to care at all. I didn't stick around to get sick and or explode.

I've enjoyed this place for teriyaki on the Eastside since they opened up a couple years ago. Good menu selection and awesome lunch specials, and generous portions for the prices. Love the teriyaki chicken and gyoza.

This is my number 1 teriyaki destination. The spicy teriyaki sauce is a cut above the rest and their gyoza is perfectly crispy like i like it. They're also conveniently located next to malt and vine for a great beer while you're eating. The service is great, its family owned, they deliver next door... What more could you ask for from a teriyaki spot?

A-OK might be the way to describe it, or perhaps you could also call it solid but unspectacular. This is a steady little yaki joint, one of many Nasais around town. Probably the best thing it has going for it is that there's a killer beer bar right next door and you can bring hot food in there to have with your beer. Of course, there are two better yaki joints within a few blocks of here, and other options as well. Nasai has plenty of tables, big windows, and it's clean and bright. They have the usual coolers of pop and fruit-ish drinks. The menu is the usual fare: chicken, beef, pork, done a few different ways, with a big football of calrose rice and some iceberg mix alongside. The white chicken yaki looked like it had been pre-cut, and even at five stars with whole red peppers thrown in, it wasn't crazy spicy. The sauce here is clearly out of a commercial bucketfull of sauce. The service here is quick, and super nice. The prices are not crazy high. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's only fair to middlin' as yaki goes.

I like the food and meat here so much. I have a sensitive bowel, and I did not have a good experience with teriyaki most time. But the food here was very good, not salty, not so strong. I tried four times so far and I did not get any bowel problem. My sons liked Udon noodle and beef too.
