Been a while since I ate here and figured I'd swing through. A younger girl was working and seemed friendly enough. I ordered salmon sashimi from the menu, which says you get five pieces of sashimi. It came with four, so I asked her if there was a mistake. She went and asked one of the guys behind the counter, then came over and took my plate away saying, "be right back." She came back five minutes later with a dish of salmon sashimi that had five pieces on it, but they were all pretty thin. Couldn't have been more than what you'd pay $2.50 for as nigiri, but was going to charge me $5.95 as sashimi. When I asked why they didn't just give me an extra slice of sashimi instead of new slices, they all insisted that that is what they did. So, on top of serving me a shitty little portion they tried to lie to me about it as well. The whole thing was just so unnecessary and insulting and not worth my time or money ever again. Maybe they're hurting for business and can't be as generous as they used to be, but don't replace my food right in front of me then lie about it. And they switched from gangsta rap to Christian pop. Not sure which hurts my ears more.

We walkes in and no one else was there... was kind of concerned. Was welcomed very warmly and from thay point on, the experience was awesomeee.

I loved the place that was here before and was so happy to see another Sushi place come here when the other one closed. Forever Sushi is an incredibly delicious place to stop and have a meal! I've had take-out the last two times I ate here so I can't comment on the wait staff but from observing I'd think they are just as good as their food. The gentleman I've ordered from each time is incredibly kind and fun to talk to. Their food is amazing! Each time I've ordered a variety of different rolls and haven't disliked anything. If you like spice I highly recommend anything of theirs that says spicy. So far the spicy ones have been my favorite. If you are curious about sushi, come here and try it. If you know you like it already, come here and have some.

We used to go to this restaurant quite a bit when it was Sushi Land, never had a problem with the staff, who was always very friendly and would make my favorite seared salmon sashimi whenever I asked for more. We just tried the new place, noon this past Saturday. And I know what the purists say about conveyor belt sushi, but I don't care. I find it very fun! We were immediately seated and I started pulling plates down almost as fast. The salmon (nigiri) was first, and it was fresh and delicious. There was quite a variety, and lots of dishes going around to choose from. For those of you that aren't really into raw fish but want to accompany your friends, there is plenty for you too. The bacon-wrapped scallops were very tasty, as was the bacon-wrapped asparagus. I wanted to try the short-ribs, but one can only eat so much. Next time! I also want to see if they will make the seared salmon for me. I love that this place is so close to home and we don't have to drive all over creation to find decent sushi. What's also fun about the conveyor belt concept, is that there is no wait to get your food, so if you just want your sushi fix, you can be in and out in less than half an hour! I'm SO glad they reopened this place and am looking forward to many more visits. And with their very reasonable prices, I know we can afford it! :)

I am a fan of sushi. they have lots of kind of sushi rolls that look so delicious and fresh!!Yum!!! @@ such a good service and cleaned surface.PERFECTION. I am so glad it opened !! it is my holy grill place and def gonna visit there again soon. I do like this place better than sushi land because of a good service and variety of sushi rolls and desserts. TRY special rolls and dessert after you eat ! they have bomb fried Ice cream and cake. Also they have bomb Bibipbob(traditional Korean food) !!! so Yummy !!! I strongly recomend this place to anyone!!! NO REGRET comes !
(5)Anthony M.
Sushi was ok... The vibe was really cool and the staff was very nice! Hands down the best fried rice in Puyallup!
(4)Kristina W.
Every time I come here the staff are super friendly. They make sure you are taken care of. The prices are great. They have rolls ranging from $1 to I think $8 and they have other choices. So you can eat there while on a budget. The restaurant is always clean. And the sushi is so delicious. I would recommend coming here.
(5)Tiffany L.
always friendly service, great people, good and reasonable sake and wine too! YOu can ask for anything fresh made u want, but this by far the freshest sushi place around, ate here several times. Love the SAhimi white tuna, melts in your mouth, best time to come is around 6, when all the good stuff goes on the conveyor belt.. but be ready to grab quick!!!
(5)Kaida Z.
Very nice service, freshest food, and cheaper price. The grill food is really nice taste. It is the best restaurant in these area.
(5)Mariah H.
In terms of food, forever sushi does a really good job. The food is great and excellent priced , my friends and I love would go there every payday. The service however, is far below what I would expect from a restaurant. The man that waits on the tables doesn't seem to have an understanding of what personal space is or what personal belongings are . The first time my friend and I went there, he decided to hover over us and stare at my phone and start asking me questions about my personal life. The second time we were there, he decided to grab my purse from the table and remove it without saying anything to me (which I don't believe is acceptable for someone to do.) I just went in there after ordering food to go, and a woman left the kitchen and came out and smacked a man (I assume he works there) on the back of the head for dropping something... She proceeded to yell at him while the restaurant had customers in it, and the man at the front counter who was helping me just sat there and laughed and told me not to worry about them. When it comes to the food I would definitely recommend this place but the below standard level of service makes me want to find a new sushi place to go.
(2)Anna N.
First time there, and the customer service was really good. The sushi was also really cheap and they give big portions too. It is well worth the money, much better than Blue C Sushi's and Trapper's price. The Sushi's quality is very fresh. The place is convenient to access, love it!
(5)Robert B.
Decided to eat here because the reviews on Yelp are great. I was not disappointed in the least. The flavor on all of our selections was fantastic and the service was outstanding. All of the chefs to the wonderful job putting together the choices. 1 star off for not having picture descriptions of the sushi but it could really be just a half star since the waitress was so helpful in telling us what it is that we were looking at. Highly recommend this conveyor-sushi establishment for good service, great food, and excellent variety.
(4)Tania A.
Our family loves this place. Not only is the sushi delicious, the staff are all so friendly. I moved here from an island full of fresh fish and have had good sushi and this one ranks high.
(4)Jerry J.
Good sushi. Great price. Friendly service. Amazing options. Overall a great place to enjoy a meal.
(4)Kanaya L.
The service was great which by far can always make or break your experience despite the food. With that said the food was good and kid friendly. Went for the first time on and Saturday after my Bff and our daughters hers age 3 mine and 13 months. They loved it and were treated wonderful as well.
(4)Jennifer R.
Awesome place, very friendly and super kid friendly. Coming from Hawaii it's pretty much like Genki Sushi aka revolving sushi!
(5)David H.
Good are decent..not high, but not super cheap and selection was good. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable about menu. Will be back again for our sushi fix.
(3)Kierston C.
This was a very good Sushi place, and considering this is my first conveyor belt experience it was a good first experience. They are very new, so their service was a little spotty, although in a different direction. They were maybe just a little too attentive. If there is such a thing. Although the reason I gave this place a 5 star instead of a 4 star was because their Sashimi was probably some of the best I have ever had. We just tried one type of fish, yellowtail, and it was so fresh it should have been living. Best yellowtail I have ever had. My family will definitely be a repeat customer!
(5)Kari H.
It was pretty good food. I got the check and it was only 10$ and I was like oh no thats too cheap for sushi but then everything was ok. Good place will be back
(5)Matthew H.
Conveyer belt sushi. Deliciousness!
(5)jami s.
Great atmosphere. The sushi shop that was here before felt like a family restaurant. Now it feels classy and the food is even better. Prices are more than the old shop. You can get about 4 plates for $10.
(5)Cyndi R.
Went tonight for dinner - were greeted and sat right away. Server was excellent! He explained the rolls and answered any questions we had. The chefs even checked in on us and gave recommendations. Don't see something on the belt that you want? Just ask and they'll make you something special. GREAT customer service and GREAT sushi.
(5)Rachelle M.
Really like this place! Would like to give it a 4.5! Lots of options. The staff is very friendly. They are very agreeable and customer satisfaction driven. We went here before when it was sushi land and if you didn't care for it before, come back!!! The quality of their product, the staff and the ownership has gone way up. It is a typical conveyer sushi but they do have some cooked options for those that have yet to embrace raw. And some luscious desserts to bribe your kids as a thank you for not making you suffer through yet another pizza or chicken strip restaurant meal!
(4)Tiffany O.
Sooo... Been here one time. Sushi on a belt.. No big deal.. But look up because each plate costs a different price. Priced by color. I basically ate the same "rolls" if that's what you call 4 pieces on plate?? I'm not into deep-fried rolls which they seemed to have a lot of. One thing that was really good was the stuffed jalapeños.
(1)Chad G.
Best sushi in Puyallup, perfectly cooked rice and great service. Will be going back for sure,
(5)Vince H.
Most expensive conveyor belt sushi I had, more expensive than Blue C sushi. There were a lack of selections. Will not go back.
(1)Thanh K.
I came here with two friends tonight and it was great. We had the dynamite, spicy tuna, spicy crab with shrimp and lion king, and they were all on point. The proportions are great and the staff is fun and friendly. They greeted us upon arrival and made us feel like we were at home. Prices were cheaper than I'm use to so that's a plus. All in all, I highly recommend this place!
(5)Aries S.
Ehhh. This place was okay. SOME of the sushi was good but some was cold and felt like it had went around that conveyer belt a little too much. It was packed tonight (Wednesday) but there was only one server so I'm didn't get the good service I had heard about. Sushi was cheap but think I got too much ended up spending 70$. Easy to spend a lot of money here without realizing it. Probably won't go back anytime soon!!!
(3)John F.
Amazing selection of bad sushi. Mostly variations on California rolls. Creamy scallops tasted like soap. Unagi sauce way too salty.
(1)Rick M.
Good food and the service was incredible!!
(4)Benjamin T.
Very polite staff. Day 5 of opening. I tried a lot of plates. Nothing spectacular but great location and average pricing.
(4)Sean S.
Just had the worst excuse for sushi. The sushi spins around on a conveyer belt.....should have turned around right then and there but we figured they were keeping the sushi fresh... Nope! I tried one of the rolls off of the belt and it was cold, mushy and tasted disgusting. I told the waiter this and figured if I ordered from him I would receive fresher sushi..Nope again, he pulled it right off the belt and threw it on our table. I tried it again and it was the same thing...disgusting. After this we got up and went to the front to pay for our drinks and what we did eat....well they ended up charging us full price for the entire meal and when I told him I shoudnt have to pay for all of it he told me he didnt know what was wrong with us. I was steaming mad at this point so I just payed so I wouldnt fly off the deep end. Not sure if it was just a bad night for their food or what. I'll never go back to find out. We did have miso soup and tempura and they were ok. The restraunt itself is pretty nice inside. I'm not a picky eater but I refuse to eat old sushi. Still cant believe they charged is for food we didnt eat.
(1)Marlon T.
Decided to try this place out and was not disappointed. The place is reasonably priced and they have a great variety of fresh sushi and rolls. The restaurant offers ramen, udon, and miso soup and has nice dessert options too! The staff was very helpful and nice. Totally recommended!
(5)Charity R.
Overall pretty good conveyer belt sushi. The place was pretty full at 5:30 at night. Seems like the sushi chefs were busy cooking fresh rolls, etc. some things looked like they were being passed up. While we were there they were playing some pretty kick ass old school R & B. I think we will come back for the music alone! Lol.
(3)Sarah S.
How on earth did this place get 4 stars? The quality of the sushi and service that I experienced at Forever Sushi were below average, at best. The set up is like sushi boat, but instead of boats the sushi is delivered via a conveyor belt. Great concept, poor delivery. Sushi Boat/Sushi Conveyor Belt can only be successful if there are a lot of customers steadily removing sushi plates from the belt so that new, fresh rolls are replacing them. This was not the case at Forever Sushi. My mom and I came at 7:00 pm on a Friday night thinking that the place would be packed during prime time, especially with such stellar reviews. Only a few couples were scattered along the sushi bar and the measly plates of sushi looked like they had been sitting out for a good portion of the evening, banished to hours of misery in the rotating belt of sushi sadness. Not only did the rolls look unappetizing but they posed a significant food safety risk. It cannot be a good idea to consume raw fish that has been sitting at room temperature for who knows how long. We asked the waitress if it was possible to order sushi fresh from the chef rather than off the belt and she said that was no problem at all. I asked for the Hawaiian Roll from the chef and he returned in, I kid you not, 15 seconds with a perfectly assembled Hawaiian Roll. Did he really just grab the roll off the conveyor belt and deliver it to us rather than making it fresh? Either that or he holds the world record for fastest sushi assembly. I ate the roll anyway and it was room temperature, confirming that he had, in fact, pulled the sushi directly from the belt. Sigh. We ended up watching the chef attentively, waiting for him to load a fresh roll on the belt and then we didn't t take our eyes off it until it made its way around to us. Kinda weird, I know, but room temp sushi, guys! No bueno! These rolls ended up being decent, with a good variety of specialty rolls, which is what saves this place from 1 star for me. I think if this place was very busy when we came and the rolls were made all fresh, we would have had a much more positive experience. Alas, we came during a slow time and it really put a damper on our dinner.

I decided to come here with a friend based on the rave reviews I've heard, and I have to say that I was pretty disappointed. First of all, the staff WERE pretty friendly. The hostess was polite and attentive, and I could see a couple of others talking with regulars. Also, I was pleasantly surprised by the prices. Sushi can become an expensive affair very quickly. Unfortunately, you get what you pay for. The edamame was all very dry and brown. The rolls were not bad, but also did not taste fresh at all. The nigiri was, however, fresh, which is at least a bit reassuring. Also, this could be an issue of personal preference, but it turned me off a little that 98% of their rolls have krab salad incorporated. Over all, OK for budget sushi, but I will probably not visit again.

Random Saturday, waiting for my truck to get some work done...walked in here to kill some time and have some lunch. It's changed names and such since I last visited. They wrap a lot in bacon....nice. But those butt ends of the asparagus that should be tossed, shouldn't be wrapped in bacon let alone served as food. Overall I enjoyed my lunch, spent way too much and look forward to coming back... That being said, it's a conveyor belt and sushi (in my opinion) shouldn't sit out long. With only about a dozen folks having lunch, why would you load the belt 3 layers high?
(3)Sara T.
This place continues to impress me - I DO still prefer my place in Tacoma, but this is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots. A few friends and I went here again for a girls lunch. We got there right at opening and just sat around, ate sushi, gossiped, and joked around for about two hours. The food here is amazing. Of course, I didn't write down what rolls I got, but they were all great. The fried rolls were nice and fresh, the cold rolls were cold, and the waitress was attentive. I've not had anything here that I haven't liked and I've tried a few new rolls and new fish choices that I haven't had before. Richard checked us out and as usual was very friendly - We FINALLY got his name so we could make sure to thank him by name next time. :) Next time I go (in a few days to celebrate with my boyfriend) I'm going to try to get some of the names of my favorite rolls. My only concern is a concern that I have not run into: I do still question the conveyor system - I just wonder how often they change out food and if you get stuck with old food that's been on the conveyor for a while. I hesitate to go closer to closing time for this reason. (NO, they have not given me a reason to feel this way, I just wonder from all my years in food service). Keep up the good work Forever Sushi!
(5)Van C.
Ate here twice since its been opened with the new owners. It was a Sushi Land before the new ownership. The sushi was pretty good. They had options of the usual sushi fair and my favorite has to be the fatty tuna. It was such a light, creamy and robust flavor. The rice was perfectly dress with vinegar and the quality of the fish good but could be better. The only drawback is the prices. It's a bit much for the quality of fish served. That would probably be the only deterrent from visiting this place again. Staff is friendly although the sushi chefs behind the counter seems kinda annoyed when you ask for specific rolls. If it's an option for the customer to request certain kind of sushi that isn't on the belt then I feel like it shouldn't be pushed off as like we are bothering you; this experience is consistent every time I go.
(4)Richard L.
Very good food a large variety of sushi. Very friendly staff. I used to get the Kalbi quite often. Quite frankly I don't think you could go wrong with anything from forever sushi. One of my fav sushi restaurants.
(5)Dennis B.
Good sushi for a good price. Lighting is great so that you can see the color of the plate. Price is based on the color of the plate, from $1.50 to $6.00 per plate. Very helpful staff and not pushy as to how long you stay or what your eating. It would be better if it wasn't on Meridian. I usually avoid Meridian like the plague.
(4)Alyssa U.
Forever Sushi is really good and affordable conveyor belt sushi. Especially when you compare it to Sushi Land haha. But really, I love the variety here, and I also love the staff, they're so nice! Prices aren't outrageous, like Blue Island in Federal Way or Blue C Sushi. It's perfect, quick, and yummy! I def recommend it!
(4)Mae D.
I use to frequent this establishment when it was once Sushiland (for which I love). When they closed down I was so sad! This laid vacant for a while until Forever Sushi opened and I'm FOREVER grateful that they opened! I love my conveyer belt sushi and this is the best anywhere near me. The people here are so friendly! I love the lady with the ginormous smile, I sadly do not know her name and the gentleman, who also has a very nice smile, who are almost always there. Just always so accommodating and kind to us and everyone else who walks into the restaurant. Anyway, on to the food! The offerings on the menu, well, there are quite a few! Rolls, nigiri, udon, deep fried calamari, chicken karrage, cakes, fruit bowls and moon pies oh my! They've got so many things to choose from, you're glad everything (well, almost everything) is on that conveyer belt just making it's rounds. My suggestion is if it's your first time here, and you want to try something cooked, fried, etc... ask for it. Ask the sushi master behind the belt or your friendly wait staff and they are more than happy to make you a fresh one. I personally don't care if it's fresh out of the fryer or has been making the rounds, I'll eat it :). Just depends on my mood that day I suppose. I don't think there is anything there I haven't tried except the hand rolls and some of the "specialty" sushi dishes on their menu that they have at each table/booth. It's just too bad that I get a hand slap each time I'm on my phone that I don't have a photo of their menu offerings. My boyfriend has a thing with being on the phone while dining out in public thing. Also, I don't really get a physical hand slap, my guy is not a physical man, just a sweet friendly reminder that phones can be used later after we are done eating and out of the restaurant. Sometimes, I do remind him I am a Yelper and as a Yelper it is my duty to have my phone on me to take pics to inform my fellow Yelpers and those looking at these reviews. He gets it :). Anyway, we come here pretty often so I will have photos and share it the next time around. Ugh, everything here is just delicious ok. I won't have a say on what my most favorite thing is to get here until I have tried everything they offer. Here's my go to's: fried calamari, shrimp tempura udon, chicken karrage, the rolls, miso soup and the green tea. Desert-wise, I do love the fruit bowl which is seriously the cutest thing (will get a pic of that too). It's a pineapple rind as the "bowl" and grapes, pineapple, oranges artfully crafted on to a plate. Can't remember how much it is but when you want just something sweet and not heavy after your meal this is just the best thing to get. Aside from the cream puffs of course which are the blue plate ($1.50?), don't quote me on that. Just go, experience, try new things, try old faves, just try everything you and your wallet can get it's grubby hands on. Come hungry, expect to drop some serious cash if you like to eat a lot and bring some friends because conveyer belt sushi isn't fun without your buds or your appetite. So bring one or the other and if you can't bring both, bring appetite with you! Along with money, because this ain't cheap if you decide that the $1 are becoming repetitive and boring because all the good stuff are on the $5 plates :).
(5)Carol H.
Kind of a fun casual dining experience sitting next to conveyor belt watching all the different little plates pass by. The thing is that although it may seem like a great deal paying 1.50-6.00 per plate it ADDS UP FAST because each plate are a small amount of food so you can easily rack up 6 plates before you know it or feeling full. It was kind of the norm to see 8+ plates in front of most other patrons and I can understand why but when you get the bill and it's close or more than 20.00 you realize you could have gone to the China buffet or Trappers for alot more variety for alot less. Can you imagine if you got 8 plates that were all 3-6.00 each, your bill would be outrageous!! It's fairly tasty and good service but not sure I would go back when having other better choices in town for less cost.
(3)Amy C.
The food was Ok , none of the food was fresh and some were actually pretty dry , the servers were nice however I had to ask them to come by for everything , for my drink order for sides or extra orders just not very attentive. I won't go out of my way to go here again... Not worth all the hype
(3)Kim P.
Staff was friendly and quick to service. Food was exceptional. But there was some rolls that tasted like there were there for more than "safely awhile". Afterwards I felt a little sick. Probably the sushi being laid out on the conveyer belt. That's what I get I guess for showing up at 645pm. Not a place I recommend dining when sushi has been made early.
(2)Aaron L.
The staff seemed friendly and everyone else looked like they were enjoying themselves but the truth is that the food was not even mediocre. Every single roll I tried had some sort of mayo-imitation crab in them and was not good at all. They were all incredibly bland. The nigiri was too small for the price and also did not seem terribly fresh which I suppose you can suspect in a belt-sushi conveyor. I hate to leave a bad review but I can't believe how this place gets all the 5-star reviews it does. Try somewhere else.
(1)Larry W.
The salmon sashimi was some of the best I've ever had. Also loved the bacon wrapped asparagus. Staff was very pleasant. Prices very good also.
(4)Holly R.
I really wanted to like this place, the ladies at the counter were soooooo nice, but after that it's all downhill. I almost didn't have the heart to write a bad review, but with all the four and five stars on Yelp, I felt obligated to write about my experience. The sushi was beyond mediocre. I tried several rolls, nigiri sushi and a couple of the sashimi. Everything was kind of bland and flavorless. Every roll has some sort of imitation crab in it. The sesame balls were COLD, in fact, all the rolls that were supposed to be warm were cold. I think my first warning that the sushi would be terrible was that they were stacked 3 high on the conveyor belt. Every other revolving sushi bar we've been to does not stack the plates for quality control. I think this is why everything seemed so dried out and tough. Like I said, I really didn't want to come off so negative, but we were really surprised that we didn't get sick.
(2)Kalristo O.
If they do not make eye contact with you that means that you do not exist. They did not acknowledge 2 separate groups of customers standing in the front on the door in front of the cash til but proceed to cash out a couple that just finished eating. Even after they cashed out their guest she looked down and walked away. No eye contact. No acknowledgement. Not coming back. I'm sure the food is good and I'm bummed we couldn't give you our money but I really don't care how good food is if you don't appreciate your customers. Resolution: Acknowledge your customers. Small eye contact, a smile, or simple say we will be with you shortly. Don't leave people hanging like that.
(1)Sasha A.
I did not have a chance to even try the food. My boyfriend and I came here in hopes for a sushi place that wasn't located all the way in Seattle. This place looked promising from the reviews...but I was definitely wrong. We came in to awkwardly standing by the door, two people were waiting ahead of us. The two in front of us were finally greeted by a woman on the phone and guided them to sit in the waiting area. She went ahead and ignored the fact we were standing behind them and went about her business. Next, another couple who came up to pay was helped by another server. She cashed them out and left us standing at the counter. It came to be a shock to me because how could you not even ask if we had been helped yet. I understand a Friday night is busy, but a friendly "We will be right with you" would have been perfectly fine with me. This was terrible to start off with... Not a smile, not a greeting, not even eye contact?! I can't imagine what would have happened if I chose to actually eat there.
(1)Brian W.
This is one of the better sushi joints in the area. The service is very friendly, and attentive. You can sit around the 'bar' where a conveyor belt rotates around with various sushi plates. The color of the plate signifies how much the cost is. Lots of variety to choose from, and you can ask them to make you pretty much anything and they will.
(3)Katy H.
We used to go to Trappers for date night but found ourselves at Forever Sushi one night. Let's just say that it's pretty much the only place we go to for sushi these days. The sushi is always fresh and the service is great as well! We love being able to pick a variety of sushi for less than what we would spend at Trapper's!!! We recently took our kids there and they loved it!!! :) They said they wishes they could go there every day!
(5)Kelly K.
Traveler to town. Read the reviews and decided to visit this place but I have to say it was a disappointment. Too much sources on the food. Every plate was too much salt. It takes away the freshness of Japanese food. Fish temperature is warm and lost the moisture. Not recommended.
(2)Jake M.
If you like feeling like you may get food poisoning this is your place!! This restaurant is absolutely disgusting! ! I had maybe one piece of sushi that was noticeably cold the rest were almost lukewarm. I paid 30$ for sushi and literally was not even half way full. I came here out of pure desperation for some sushi because trappers had almost a 2 hour line (because they actually have good sushi) let me break it down for you... 1 our server was either a idiot or a stereotypical stoner, he had no clue how to serve and barely spoke loud enough to be heard. 2 the food was lukewarm at best and nothing was fresh, im talking tempura that is the texture of sponge cake. 3, the price wasnt even good, the decent rolls are a dollar or more per piece. And 4 the selection was embarassing, no drink menu, maybe 2 beer options and I had maybe one roll that didnt look like someone had already chewed It up and spat It out. For 18.00 you can get all you can eat from trappers and not wanna go induce vomiting on yourself. If you think this is a good sushi spot you either need to have your tastebuds removed for your own good or you need to have sushi not on a conveyer belt. I wouldnt recommend this place to my worst enemy

Love this place! My daughter and I love to come here and get our sushi fix! Always clean, friendly service and great food!
(5)Gloria B.
I was absolutely floored with the quality of service, food and prices! We took my Mother in Law to dinner where her children and I surprised her with the mother's ring she's always wanted from her kids. Everyone cried when she opened her little gift box, including the worker's there. There is no other description for Forever Sushi but perfect. Thank you guys, for making our special dinner absolutely perfect!

I'm from VA, so this was pretty new to me. First entering I was instantly intrigued. They charge anywhere from $1.5 to $5 on sushi depending on the color of your plate, each plate containing 2-4 pieces. They also provide other foods, noodles, soups, rice, etc. I've had better sushi and food but the experience was pretty cool. The service was good at first, until we were ready to leave. We waited a good 15 minutes for a check. :/

The food is okay. However, the sushis are overpriced. I had ten plates for $40, and with that price, I get get 20 plates with the same quality in Marinepolis sushi land in Seattle.

Being station in Japan for 2 years I'd have to say this is comparable to sushi belt restaurants in Japan. Good selections of sushi as well as deserts. Service is a hit or miss but the workers were very nice, friendly and welcoming. The only thing that I didn't like was the restrooms. Restrooms were very dirty, far and had no baby changing station.

I hate giving bad reviews. If you look at my account I have given two dozen great reviews, and only three poor ones. I believe it's more important to give positive feedback to a product or service that stands out then to tear apart bad ones. But today was serious enough experience, I MUST Give a review. I am a frequent visitor to Trappers, and to Sushi Revolution in Tacoma. Love them. We decided tonight to try somewhere new while in Puyallup. I asked Siri for sushi, and Forever Sushi came up. Upon sitting down, I was excited to see you could sit at a table and still have access to the conveyor belt. I also liked that the plates were labeled, so I knew what I was eating. The cream cheese ragoons were great. But as we sat their and ate, I couldn't help but notice our waitress had a nasty bandaid wrapped on finger, and she was touching our plates. She also delivered our hot tea by holding it from the top, so her hand was touching the rim of the cups. Then we saw the chef pick up a plate, with green stuff on it. He took it to the sink (with his gloves still on) rinsed it off, wiped the gunk off his his hand, and then place the plate down to use. He then proceeded to use the same gloved hands to go back to cutting fish. My boyfriend used to be a chef, and was concerned. When the owner came to see how everything was, he told him what he'd seen. The owner said no, he was rinsing dust off, and left the table. My boyfriend said, "welp, as a former restaurant professional, I've done my duty." and we went back to eating. The owner then came back with a plate from the back to show us "what clean plates look like." Which was rather rude. He told him he just wanted him to know it was a blatent health code violation, and to leave us be to eat our dinner. The owner then said, "NO. You are wrong. We don't use dirty plates. He rinsed off the dust before using the plate." My boyfriend again asked him to leave us to our dinner. The guy then said if we were going to disrespect his chef, we could leave, and he TOOK AWAY our food!! And mumble something about how we don't even know how to cut fish properly. We got up and went to the front to pay (which we were charged for everything even though we didn't get a chance to finish our food). As he rang us up, and he started again about how we were wrong. We proceeded to explain about the bandaid, the food handling, the failing to wash hands or change gloves. The owner then told us to "Get the fuck out of my place. You don't know what the fuck you are talking about, never come back." He then told us to "Fuck off" on our way out the door. WOW. I work in customer service. I've been offended by a guest. I've even asked someone to leave my office, but I understand enough about professionalism to know you don't tell a customer to Fuck Off. That is OUTRAGEOUS. Guess what? Had he said, "I'm sorry if you thought my cook did something incorrectly, I'll gladly discuss it with him the next chance I have...." we would probably have continued to eat, paid, tipped, and moved on with our lives. But the guy would NOT LET IT ALONE and then took away our food, but charged us for it, and told us to Fuck off. Wow. Just wow.

Love our Forever Sushi family! These guys are great, the sushi is phenomenal, we go there at least a couple times a week if not more:)
(5)Sherri M.
Bacon wrapped scallops are so good. All there food is fresh. Love the dumplings. If not on the belt you can request them. Service is the best.
(5)D R.
Not the biggest fan of conveyor belt sushi, but that's not the restaurant's fault. We decided to stop in for lunch and the service was prompt and courteous. I selected about 5 plates off the belt over the course of the meal and each was palatable. Nothing seemed to wow me, but you can do a LOT worse with this type of sushi concept. They WILL make fresh, custom rolls which is a nice touch and certainly offers a bit more variety if you don't feel like grabbing something off the belt that has made four trips around the restaurant. Pricing was reasonable for most everything, the salmon and tuna rolls seemed like a good value while the seaweed salad was an insufficient amount for the cost of the plate. We'll likely stop in again next time we're craving sushi and happen to be on South Hill.

As I wait for my sister to arrive, I decided to be observant(: I wanted to be the first to review! This place means a lot to me, the former sushi land. Now its forever going to be here where I need it to be (: The interior is much more Asian-like compared to sushi land. The employees were very friendly! As I expected, the conveyor belt is still here! I really hope this place is good! I need me some good sushi close to home. The fish definitely looks fresh and the prices look worthy. So I just tried the Tuna Nigiri ($3). It was yummy. Not my favorite though. The Albacore... Nigiri ($2.50) is so..... (chews for a bit) is so good! For a conveyor belt place! I love it. Albacore Nigiri just makes any sushi restaurant better!(: Time for the Salmon Nigiri ($2.50). I usually do not like Salmon unless it is in a roll but wow. This salmon made me stop and think for a second. Pretty dang good. Almost ties with my love for Albacore. I just had the rainbow roll(: usually don't go for it but it was fresh! Tasted great. I wanted to try one more type of Nigiri but there's none coming my way. I will definitely be coming back in a few days(: I have really wanted to try sake at a restaurant before! Can't wait to try their alcohol too. I love the fact that it's conveyor, super fresh, and close to my home!! Wooo.

THIS place is my spot! The staff is very friendly and attentive. I have never had to ask for even a refill on my drink. They have many different options on the belt and I am always able to find plenty of things to try. I especially like that each item is labeled with what is in it. For a sushi amateur like myself I find this to be very helpful.
(5)Sarah H.
This is the first sushi restaurant I have tried since moving up from California and I am so thoroughly happy with my choice. Their sushi had lots of flavor and the pot stickers were warm when I grabbed them. The customer service was thorough. I never had to ask for any refill on my drink, they were on it. Will definitely be going back soon!

Decided to try a new place out for sushi and came across Forever Sushi. We came pretty early so there were multiple empty seats and booths which was nice. We were seated and offered drinks which were delivered promptly. I thought it was strange that the sushi plates were stacked on top of each other. Just a weird observation. Now let's get down to the food. Lots of the sushi had labels which was thoughtful. We shared The Volcano, A Hot Night, Tempura Roll, Salmon Skin Roll, Dynamite Roll, Stuffed Jalapeño, and some others that were not labeled. (I hope those names are correct lol). A lot of the rolls were very tasty. My favorite would have to be the Hot Night and the Salmon Skin Roll. The Hot Night was actually spicy due to the sriracha drizzled on top! Salmon Skin Roll was crunchy and refreshing since there's no sauce on top. Out of all the rolls we had, there was only one I didn't like. It was a deep fried roll that had lots of sauce on top. But if you like deep fried rolls, then do try. Overall, it was a fun time here. The waiters were attentive and always checking up on you and offering refills. I would recommend and will hopefully be returning when I'm in the area :)

We tried this place the other night after the kids got done with swimming class down the street at the YMCA. I have never been to the conveyor belt type sushi places before. (Tried to go to the "Blue Sushi" something or other in Federal Way a few years ago an hour before closing. They said "you can't sit at a booth because we close in an hour. You can sit at the counter." I didn't want to sit at the counter with 2 kids. Better control at a booth so we left.) This was really great. I like the way the prices are listed by the plate color. We tried a bunch of different things and liked all of them. (My wife didn't like one of them but didn't know which one). After a while I just focused on the different Spicy Rolls on the blue and yellow plates. (They are $1.50 and $2.00 each. That's only $3-4 for a 6 piece roll since 3 pieces on a plate.) I really liked this one plate that had an avocado cut in half without the skin. It had volcano roll inside it and was great.) The stuffed Jalapenos were good too. Will definitely be back. Relatives from California love sushi and we will take them here as well as Happy Bento.
(5)Mariah N.
Cheap and fresh sushi! I always grab some takeout when I'm rubbing late for work. Everything is made fresh when it's ordered, therefore give it about 20 minutes! I've never had a bad experience here. Clean environment extremely nice staff and cooks!
(4)Meghan C.
My family and I have been here several times and the staff is always so wonderful. The atmosphere is great, it's kid friendly and reasonably priced. I would've liked to see more variety in the roll options but the ones they make are fresh and delicious. We spend one night a month here because it's become a fun tradition and the service is always great.
(4)Princess D.
Always a good time. Lots of choices on a moving conveyerbelt including desserts such as cheesecake. Priced by color of plate. They have raw and cooked options as well as a menu to order off of. The employees are extremely nice and helpful. I really love this place.
(5)Kevin A.
For the price, this place deserves about 4.5 stars. It appeared to be Japanese owned, so maybe that's why the food was better than some of the other local options (e.g. Paradise Sushi...AVOID!!). At half an hour before close, some of the rolls on the belt looked a little soggy, but the fish quality on the nigiri was fantastic and the chef was more than happy to make things that weren't circling the belt. My hamachi sashimi order was only $5 and consisted of 4 generous, perfectly-cut pieces, cool but not cold and just the right amount of fat. Karaage chicken was a little salty and not crispy enough, but agedashi tofu was quite good, seaweed salad good/standard, the wild king salmon nigiri very good, and this shrimp-mango roll off the belt definitely exceeded expectations. I believe I had 7 items in all for a total of ~$30. Service was friendly and efficient, so all things considered, I'd go back if I'm in the area again.

It's been almost a year since my first post about Forever Sushi and my opinion hasn't changed one bit. I come here almost weekly not only because the food is THAT fabulous, but also because the owner and staff are absolutely AMAZING people. They are always so attentive, social, helpful, happy and just all around great. If there is some type of sushi roll that you want that is not on the menu, you can always ask someone if one of the chefs can make it. My husband has done this several times and his roll always comes out fabulous! Their service is top notch, for sure. So, on to the food... I have several favorites on the menu (and off). If you love avocados, you have to try the monkey brain. It's to die for! Next, try the aburi salmon roll. It has real crab in it. We also enjoy the firecracker roll quite often. If you're not too much of a sushi fan, their kalbi beef and salmon teriyaki are extremely tasty as well. There's really way too much good stuff to indulge in. It's so hard not to over eat here because everything is soooo good! Seriously! I've been trying to lose some weight, but I know that it's not going to happen as long as I keep going to Forever Sushi... because I can eat their food forever.
(5)Chad P.
Oh wow! Words cannot describe the overall deliciousness and freshness of the sushi here. So good!!! Specific things are clumped together on the belt and are labeled with all ingredients. Staff is nice and friendly. Will be back next time I'm in town!
(5)Mark T.
This has become a regular weekend addition for our family since moving here. Well-prepared sushi. Conveyor belt convenience. Extremely reasonable plate prices. Sushi has always been fresh on each visit. Never experienced a wait--even at 7 on a Saturday. Additional touch--pre-fabbed chopstick holders for easy child usage. Will keep coming.
(5)Lana G.
This is the best belt line around here!!! I thought I liked the one in Tacoma mall blvd, but I LOVE this place!!! I'm coming here from now on. Lol Great service!! Great prices!!! Great food!!! And the owner even brought us more salmon because she saw that ours was not fully cooked. She even took the time to chat with us ;) definitely coming back here The employees are very happy and very friendly
(5)Calvin E.
Made it back; actually the next day. No change to previous experience but I was solo this time. The concept of the conveyor belt and selecting what you like or want to try is perfect when eating by yourself also. My new go to place to eat out. See you again soon.
(5)Phil A.
This is one of my favorite places to go for sushi. The customer service is excellent and the prices are better than almost everywhere around. I will definitely be going back to this place.
(5)Matthew B.
Our first time here was a few weeks ago, we really love this place. We tried many sushi at other places, but its hard to find a good one and traveling to Seattle for sushi is an occasional thing. Some of my favorites was the unagi, sashimi and the spider roll. What most people don't know is when you go for sushi you must not go just for a low price, but how fresh the sushi is and how good the customer service is. Expect to pay a little more for quality and a good time, tip to help a growing business and a server to survive. BTW try the nigori sake, its a creamy sweet Japanese wine that will go with any dish. We will be back and to the sever who served us, thanks for toping the drinks off and to the owner coming out to greet us thank you. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
(5)Linda H.
I used to love going here! The first time I went in with friends there was hair in my sushi! I told the manager and he took my plate and never came back to the table. Then he charged me for the sushi with hair! I could not believe them, I would not recommend going here.
(1)Vu D.
I am so happy that I found a decent sushi place right here at Puyallup. Before, I usually had to go up North for Sushi Land in South center or Sushi maru in Bellevue, but now I know for sure that I won't have to drive that far. This place has all you need. The food is satisfying with variety of sushi, tempura, rice dishes and deserts. The plus is the extremely happy customer service. I had a very good experience at this place with all the servers and managers. They came and checked us every 15 mins in a very friendly way. They even talked and made friends with us. Extremely satisfying experience at Sushi forever. I'd highly recommend the place to anyone.
(5)Kristy S.
I really like this place. My son has been eating sushi since he was 1, and this is his favorite place to go. The people that work here remember us every time, and even notice little stuff like if my son got his hair trimmed. The woman that is always there, who I think it an owner, always gives him free treats too. Special drinks, popsicles, fresh fruit, etc. Everyone here is so nice. I like the selection too...they have way more rolls than other sushi "belt" places. The pricing is cheap and the fish tastes fresh. A gem in a strip mall :)
(4)William G.
Best sushi on South Hill. Awesome service...great price!!! Can't go wrong coming here for some awesome sashimi!
(5)Bethany T.
I love everything about this place. I love the food, I love the people, I love the service! I wish I could bring the owner home with me, she's the sweetest thing ever! The only thing I'm sad about is that I can't talk my family into eating here every night :(
(5)Lacey F.
Saw the reviews and went to check this place out with the family. The outside was really up to date and the inside was even nicer! Big sushi bar in the middle with seating all around it. We were seated right away, given our drinks and told about their unique system. You can either order from the menu or pull a plate off of a rotating conveyor. The people here were some of the nicest I have ever met. One of out party had some major dietary restrictions, and our waiter actually brought out the head chef to consult! The sweetest women who went above and beyond to make our dinner perfect. The food was so good and fresh, and they kept the food on the conveyor constantly updated with a huge array of different items! All in all the service would receive 10 stars of that was possible. Check this place out!!
(5)Kit P.
You absolutely cannot expect a better kaiten-zushi experience in the Tacoma area. Just...no. Seriously guys, for the price here, you're getting waaaay more than should be expected. I am consistently amazed at the quality of the nigiri cuts offered under 3 freaking dollars. The sushi is actually cut properly (meaning not in nasty, fibrous little squares, like a certain place I have been near the mall...), and are soft and melty with gentle handling that lets fish be fish without Americanizing it with mayo and hot sauce so much that you can't taste it, (but if that's your bag, they can play dirty, too. Their spicy mussels leave you feeling satisfied in ways you are not sure you were ready for. ) Have I mentioned their kalbi and hot fare during lunch and dinner hours? Insanely cheap dishes and rice bowls, clocking in under 5 bucks each. Yeah. UNDER. FIVE. BUCKS. I found this place one afternoon killing time between library shifts and, after the first jaunt, was back twice before the end of the week. Wow. Desserts? Got a spare stomach? I know I plan to bring some extras next time I am up. The value is so insane with the quality that I actually frustrate myself waiting for a check to come (promptly) back to me, seeing all that fine flesh strolling by.... Now, I am a REALLY, REALLY hearty sushi eater. I pile those plates like I'm out to measure them, but despite this, I have NEVER broken twenty five bucks here. Never. And I always have 12 or more plates. Just. /How./ Come by. If you like good tasting, reasonably priced kaitensushi, you will have no regrets. If you don't, just buy some insanely cute accessories, stickers, or plush, as sold in the front case. I can't love this place more foodwise, but my one crit is the need for more Japanese drink diversity, but I have voiced this and have no doubts as to their sincerity when they say they'd like to pursue it. /Yes./

I am so happy that someone else owns this location now. The last place sushi land had the worst customer service I had ever had, so it is a light of sunshine to have a much friendlier staff here. I thought that the sushi was good, I still think that Trappers is the best Sushi in the area, but if you don't want to wait for someone to make the sushi, then I would recommend going to this place. I highly suggest that they stop stacking their sushi on top of each other, the belt also moves a lot faster than other revolving sushi places, by the time you see something and make up your mind if you want it or not, it's gone, slow it down, just a little. I'm just thrilled that this place is so much friendlier than the last place that was here. This place is fairly easy on the pocket-book too.
(4)M. B.
This place is great! Good atmosphere, family friendly, staff is great and super helpful, and as a college student on a budget I can get enough food to fill me up with out braking my wallet. I was a huge fan of Trappers down the road until this place open. Forever Sushi is pretty good at rotating out the food on the belt unlike other sushi-go-rounds I have been too.
(5)Lissette S.
I'm quite surprised this place has such strong reviews. Server was friendly, so no complaint there. Overall quality of food was sub-par. It's probably a good thing that most of the items on the conveyor belt are fully cooked (for quality). It was odd that our red wine was cooler than all of our rolls. Also of note, we could not finish our wine because of heavy sediment. The worst part about this place is the restrooms. You have to walk down a long, dirty corridor to get to the bathroom. As I was making my way down I felt like I was in the video game Silent Hill, but with the lights turned on (and, of course, no monsters). That said, the cost was low, and it is perfectly fine if you want to grab a quick bite (and not go to the restroom). I just wouldn't go out of my way to come back. It was my first time at a conveyor-belt sushi spot, and I really like the concept for a number of reasons (particularly the ability to sample several rolls)--I'm just going to look into other options.
(2)Allie O.
The best, freshest sushi in this area. Fabulous selection. Consistently delicious. I've dined here 7 times with a variety of people and we've left happy every time! Try them. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Daniel Z.
I would not describe myself as a sushi aficionado, but I have tried most everything that is cooked at Forever Sushi and it is great! I usually go with a larger group of regulars and the staff is always extremely friendly and helpful. I can't really tell you what I liked best, but the Tempura Shrimp was great, and so was something that appeared to be a Tempura square with a shrimp sticking out of the top. Bottom Line: If you like any kind of sushi, cooked or raw, you must try this place. I will be going back for sure!
(5)Lyle L.
Great food, great environment! Owner came and played with my son and brought him sweets. Great service. Best sushi go round in the area.
(5)Bryan M.
I love this place because of the great service, friendly atmosphere and the convenience of the belt line sushi. The actual sushi is would only warrant a three star rating.
(4)Kirsten H.
Great place! I went in for lunch around 130pm. I was greeted instantly and chose a seat at the conveyor belt. The gentleman who sat me came over to offer some suggestions based on my preferences. He mentioned they make their own soy sauce... I usually don't eat my sushi with soy sauce, but it was delicious. The fish is incredibly fresh and they offer a great variety of rolls and flavors. The miso soup is some of the best I've ever had, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. I'll definitely be going back!
(5)Anna H.
Im always one for second chances so we finally were able to eat here tonight! I am SO impressed! This sushi was by far the best i have had in awhile! the plate sizes were perfect and prices were more than fair for what you get and the quality. Staff was very attentive and friendly and we never were waiting on anything (except for trying to decide which plate to grab!) The ONLY reason i did not give 5 stars is because of the restroom situation... it was a bit creepy to have to walk down a back hallway (which was obviously meant to be used for employees only). However i guess this is just a downside of having a place in a plaza/ strip mall like this. Otherwise, THIS PLACE WAS FANTASTIC! Can't wait to go again!
(4)Kevin C.
this is really good sushi. i've been to many sushi restaurants in washington - musashis, shiros, momijis, etc - but this one takes the prize for the most bang for the buck. had the aburi salmon roll ($5.00) which was filled with snow crab, not that fake imitation crab that lesser restaurants would serve. golden hamachi ($2.50) was also a winner. fresh and mildly sweet. yummm fresh ahi poke ($7.00) was my hands down favorite. im from honolulu and i deep sea dive for ahi on occasion so i know the subtleties of what really fresh fish is supposed to taste like. this was it! i was so shocked that they were serving this much for only $7. i would say this poke is worth a trip to this restaurant in itself. i asked the owner about it and it is indeed flown in fresh from hawaii. overall, a very pleased sushi fanatic. btw, bathrooms are a bit hard to find. you have to go through a maze to get there. so plan in advance if you need to pee badly like i did from all the complimentary tea i guzzled :P end of the day, if you want fresh sushi without breaking the bank then i would wholeheartedly recommend this place!
(5)Chris L.
Some of the freshest and best sushi Ive had at a reasonable price! Great variety of sushi on the belt for lunch today covering full range of $ per plate. Paid $20 for lunch of 8 plates.
(5)James S.
This was my first experience at a Sushi place with a conveyor belt. I really enjoyed the experience. Only thing I didn't like is that all the food is going past you while you wait for utensils to eat. I kinda went overboard, loved everything they had so kept eating until I was too full. Forgot I was not at an all you can eat place. Prices were reasonable for what you get and staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed my first conveyor belt experience.
(4)Ann G.
Fantastic food, amazing prices and everything I could ever want (except okonomiyaki and curry). Thank you. You're wonderful. If you're reading this? Just go right now. The staff are fantastic, too. And oh my god their sesame balls.
(5)Kellie L.
The sushi was great. Very high-quality fish. The crab was fresh. The service was excellent. The Conveyor belt was unique. We came from New Mexico and had the best sushi ever.
(5)Gary B.
I tried this sushi bar because I'm gluten free. Friendly and helpful staff. Sitting at the carousel bar redefines fast food all elegantly displayed and easy to choose. At the end of my delicious gluten free sushi meal I used the restroom. It's a longish walk through a back of house corridor system. The Maitre D' followed me in, used the toilet and did not wash hands before leaving all while checking messages on the phone. Suddenly my delicious meal didn't settle to well. I think employees should wash hands at an establishment that handles raw fish!
(3)Lee C.
Great sushi selection, not a big fan of the conveyer belt especially with hot food like gyoza, but everything was excellent! great service, friendly chefs. Highly recommend this place.
(5)Mark M.
Anniversary lunch with the wife... Best sushi in town and superior customer service. We are regulars here and love the flavor/ variety of sushi "Forever Sushi" bring to the community!
(5)Grace E.
This is where we go to get our sushi fix. Food is really good and the staff is very friendly. I think it's family owned and pretty much the staff is family and friends because it's always the same people when we go I n and they just genuinely seem like they care about their customers. Was ify on bringing my kids because they aren't big on sushi but they had some good rice plates as well. Would recommend!
(5)Nancy C.
This previously was Sushiland (which I liked). It looked like all they did was change the signage (which is fine because it's still basically brand new). I had the Creamy spicy scallop, miso soup, pot stickers and spicy tuna - everything was good (not great, I have to come back tomorrow but I'll come back again, good). Wouldn't mind trying some different rolls. Service was excellent and the chefs offered to make you anything you wanted fresh.
(4)Jerry C.
The best belt line sushi I've had. Plenty of choices, creative and executed well. Take home some salmon cheeks.
(5)Average I.
How can I begin to describe how much I love this place? The service is truly stellar and the food is fresh & tasty. I love the conveyor belt, mostly for the aesthetic joy of watching beautiful sushi roll past me. I usually order several of my items directly from the chefs, as I am not fond of artificial crab and many of the prepared rolls contain it. Forever Sushi offers snow crab in place of the fake stuff for a nominal increase in cost, so you can order a "Deluxe California Roll," which is delicious beyond compare! For dining companions who don't care for sushi, or who are easing into the experience, there are plenty of non-sushi options such as teriyaki chicken (perfectly prepared), yakisoba, fresh spring rolls and yummy potstickers. If you are interested in excellent food prepared and served by some of the most lovely, friendly people you will ever meet, this is the place for you!!
(5)Jen C.
OMG love this sushi place. They have definitely revived your typical converyor belt sushi. 10x better than Genki sushi or Sushi land. The Sushi was good. Customer service will exceed your expectations though. They are always so friendly and asking if we're okay. Small restaurants like this have definitely made me re-evaluate my love for Converyor belt sushi. Since, I've had numerous bad experience with Genki and Sushi land.
(5)Jo A.
I am a sushi lover and I usually go to trappers for my sushi. I wanted to try something new and saw good reviews on yelp at Forever Sushi. By far, the worst sushi I ever had! Not the tastiest or fresh sushi in town. I'd recommend going to Sushi Bento instead, if you're looking for one in puyallup.
(2)Crystal O.
I trusted the other reviews and stopped by with my lady friends last weekend. Fantastic! Wonderful variety of fresh and flavorful options. Wait staff was friendly but not overbearing. Enjoyed every moment and morsel! My favorite sushi place within 50 miles of Seattle so far!
(5)Adam D.
They are always warm and welcoming..for Puyallup u can't get a better piece of sushi...talk with the owner she always has something special to try..
(5)Dan R.
Best place in Puyallup/South Hill for sushi. We've been going here for over a year and a half and have never been disappointed. The staff know us by name and I always order a special roll and I now I don't even have to order it, as soon as I walk in they tell the chef and a couple minutes later it shows up at the table. Service is top notch.
(5)K. O.
Ridiculously great service, conveyor belt sushi and a large selection! I have been here twice now and I'll be back. The second time was much better than the first, as the first time there weren't that many options on the conveyor belt. The second time, they had tons of variations! Some were obviously more fresh than others, but it only becomes prominent in the deep fried sushi.... which is disappointing because deep fried Volcano rolls are the best sushi out there (I think) when it's freshly made. The plates with prices are up high on a wall, and I haven't been able to find anything closer, but I cannot see that far away! So honestly, have no idea what costs how much.. But I do know that their most expensive plate is $5. At the end, the bill seems fairly reasonable. Another thing... I have no idea what rolls are what sometimes.. and I have been to conveyor belt sushi restaurants that put up pictures with names and a description. This place has a menu, but it does not have pictures so it makes the process of figuring out what is what more complicated and time consuming. I do love the service, the sushi is good, and I won't hesitate to return.
(4)Sabbatha E.
My husband and I are huge sushi fans, and when a new conveyer belt joint popped up we decided to give it a try! First off: It was immaculately clean and had a really nice decor. Much more asian inspired than the former sushi place that had been there. The staff was extremely friendly and very nice. They were promp with drink orders and always on top of refills. I could tell they honestly wanted us to have a great experience and wanted to insure that we were happy! They also offer beer and wine which is nice. The displays were well lit and the entire conveyer belt was clean and had FRESH and tasty sushi rolling by! they offer a great selection of Nigiri as well as rolls and have a menu you can order off of if you dont see on the belt what you're wanting. We had the Firecracker, clams, Ichiro Roll, and the Philly roll and enjoyed them all. Their miso soup was great as well (not over salty like some of the other local places) Their plates range from $1.50-$5.00 and are fairly priced for the large portions you're given. We were extemely happy with our visit and have gone back a number of times already and consistantly look forward to it now.

Forever Sushi is the closet sushi place to my house. I am very picky about the quality of fish in sushi, and this place is pretty decent. The owners are wonderful and are always happy when I come in. One time I forgot my wallet and was so embarrassed I had to leave to get it, but the owner,( a short Korean lady I think?) just smiled and said, "It's ok, just bring your wallet next time." She was not angry with me nor did she make me feel bad (which of course made me feel even worse and embarrassed lol) I came back with my husband's card and he paid; she was so nice about it. Her son runs the front desk and remembers where I like to sit and what I order, which I thought was pretty cool. 4 stars because there is other high quality sushi rolls at a few other establishments for less. Although this place is not overly expensive for sushi. If you're looking for fare priced higher quality fish (sushi) I would recommend trying this place.

Great service, couple of good rolls but mostly okay. This is not a premium sushi place. Several of the options tasted very much alike. Crab salad is another way to say "we saved a bunch on crab"! Not bad but not great by any stretch of the imagination!

We had a blast eating here for lunch. The system with the different colored plates works very well, and the waitresses were extremely helpful in explaining what something was, or even getting you a specific item that may not be on the belt. Very efficient, and yet still very good food. Absolutely loved it, and definitely will be back
