Greek Cuisine
Greek food is a fine melody of the finest pressed olive oil, fresh fermented bread, colorful vegetables, juicy meat, sea food all cooked in spices and fresh rosemary. The people from Greek were great scholars who aimed to excel in everything they do. The results are quite visible in their food as they are the inventors of olive oil which is beneficial to health. Greeks also made different type of wines from the best quality of grapes fermented in controlled environment.
Today, you can find hundreds of restaurants offering authentic Greek food or popularly termed as Mediterranean cuisine in New York city alone. People wait in line to taste the exotic Greek dishes like saganaki, taramasalata, souvlaki, loukoumades, spanakopita, moussaka, and many more. One thing which most people like about these authentic Greek dishes is abundant use of lemon juice, olive oil, fresh rosemary and sea salt. A smart mix of few ingredients can virtually take you on the pebble streets of beautiful city of Greece.
For those who don't have time to enjoy fine dining should try tasting the famous souvlaki with pita which is type of meat dish, also a trademark Greek fast food. For those who are vegetarian, or vegan can try different versions of Greek Salad. So, if you wish to enjoy a hearty yet healthy meal that tastes divine then try dining at the best Greek restaurant in your city. Greek cuisine not only tastes good but also help maintain your body in a natural way through healthy diet.

I've had the gyro platter a couple times while my wife has had just the straight gyro and we both love the food. The feta rice side dish was so good the first time we ate here that we got 2 sides of it to go :)

Being a whole food vegan it's hard to find a restaurant, but this cafe worked okay as we were hungry and on the way home from a bike ride. It's a casual counter service restaurant and the cashier was very knowledgeable about the food and helpful. It has a fair amount of vegetarian menu options (not vegan). For us the food was pleasant, not amazing. The atmosphere was comfortable with cozy booth seating and not too noisy. My husband tried the lentil soup, but found it had a lemony flavor that didn't seem to go with it. The big greek salad was a good option for him. The vegetarian sampler plate was also good me. I tried the baklava and it was tasty, but I may have liked it better if it had been warmed up.

Road trip: Day 1. My friend and I were driving up north and we were craving Mediterranean food. I was searching for a good restaurant and this place popped up. They share their parking with Ivar's. We were greeted by two friendly employees. I ordered their special of the day. My friend ordered a gyro sandwich. The restaurant had an outdoor seating area as well as indoor. Although customers order and pay up front at the register, the employees visited each table to make sure their customers' experience was adequate. The food was fantastic and the restaurant was very clean.

One of my favorite places in general. I've tried a few places around Everett that serves gyros, but I find this place the best so far. I order the neo chicken which is basically a chicken breast gyro with a pesto sauce/cream. They have all sorts of different meats including lamb and calamari. The Greek fries with the tzatziki sauce are great too. They are like $4 an order, which I find a little expensive. They are worth the $4 though. Definitely visit if you are in Marysville!
(5)Holly C.
I ordered a chicken gyro to go to eat on the plane. A few hours later, my stomach was grumbling so I pulled out my wrap. I have to admit that it was pretty big & was good - even though I had eaten it several hours after it was originally made.
(4)Diana T.
My cousin and I came here around 6pm at night and it was completely dead. No one was there so I was a little hesitant on coming in. I was craving Mediterranean food and my cousin has never tried it before so I decided to come here. I got the Gyro plate with the fries and I must say that the fries were delicious! Didn't care to much for the feta cheese on top so save yourself some extra money because they charge extra for that. My cousin got the Caesar Chicken Gryo wrap and it basically just taste like a caesar salad in the pita bread. Very light and refreshing. Not sure what time they close but while we were eating, one of the servers asked if we were using the ketchup because she was getting ready to clean up and close? Who does that?! We are eating and you decide to clean up and close already? At least wait until we are done. rude. Overall, it was a pretty mediocre place. I think I am to spoiled with Mediterranean food in California!

Kafe Neo located next to the Marysville Ivar's is a local spot providing an adequate representation of the Greek cuisine. Appearances are misleading here as the space shared by the two restaurants offers ample parking. Once inside the seating is fair given its size with more available outside, Washington weather willing. The decor is cozy with a strong Mediterranean motif and the service was accommodating, with fast turnaround. The price seemed a bit high for a Chicago style gyro with their much raved about Greek fries. My Gyro appeared to have been haphazardly thrown together, the meat (that I could taste) was tender with good flavor but drowned by copious amounts of tzatziki and feta cheese. The red onion and tomato which provided a reprieve from the overwhelming creaminess and welcome textural difference appeared to have been an afterthought as the Gyro was topped with a few desperate pieces. The must have Greek fries were sprinkled with feta cheese (added nothing), spritzed with lemon(really had to reach here) and under seasoned making the product as a whole in my opinion not worth the extra cost. My experience here as the grading system indicates was OK but left plenty to be desired.

Possibly the only place to eat in Marysville. I recommend the Teriyaki Gyro, or the Athenian Chicken... Or the Standard. The staff is always great, everything is delicious, eat there as often as possible.
(5)Daniel K.
I love this place. The staff are all very nice and willing to answer any questions you have regarding the menu. They have a big selection to choose from, so much more than your standard gyro selection. I would totally give it 5 stars if they weren't so expensive. When I say expensive, I mean the vibe of the restaurant leans a tad closer to fast food and because of that I think the prices should reflect that. Still, I would highly recommend checking Kafe Neo out. It's so worth it. (They also have to-go and have a drive-through!)
(4)Rilla J.
I purchased the Lamb Gyro w/ feta & the Greek Fries. I have only had Gyro once before (at a music festival and I enjoyed it) so I decided to try this small joint. I am totally satisfied with the food! The customer service was good, could've been better. I didn't mind though, they have what seems like a big selection to me... so I was still deciding. The food was great, it was also filling. I would recommend this place.
(5)Jessica R.
I have been through the drive thru manny times and ate in 1 time. The food is ALWAYS good. The staff is friendly... prices are a bit on the high side. GYROS AMAZING
(4)Stephie M.
So yummy! But so expensive :( our regular go to place is Seattle sells them for half the price.. We spent $43 tonight for 2 and that just seems so steep! I'll definitely be back but sad to say it won't be as often as I would like because that's just way too much :(
(3)Mark M.
Very, good food, we ordered The Chicago style gyro, The Philly gyro, The regular gyro and Greek fries. To drink we had blueberry Italian sodas. The service was very friendly and efficient, the food was amazing. Nice atmosphere too!
(4)Mike W.
I love this place BUT, service is hit or miss and The Makaronia should just NOT be on the menu and definitely not at that price. It is a 6.99 meal at best. A gyro for 6.99 full of meat and 9.99 for a plate of terribly boring pasta that is not seasoned and no meat. It's a waste of menu space. I'll be back for Gyros but not this!
(3)Shanda J.
The service is hit or miss, but the food is always excellent. I love the "feisty feta" option (which means the feta is spicy); boss Greek fries, and the best spanikopita! They also have the option of ordering whole wheat pita, which I also love. I have loved everything I've ordered here!
(4)Amanda M.
Went again as I lalways had great service, the gal OVER CHARGED me, filled my drink with ice so I got maybe 2 sips worth of drink... And they just slapped it together, it was so messy I had to stop and grab a fork to eat the fricken thing... And barely ANY feta when I paid extra for it... Not worth the $2.00 extra when there were maybe 3 pieces of feta.....
(2)Jenn S.
This is one of our go to places when we need a quick but delicious dinner. The food is so fresh and full of flavor. They are quick and friendly. A little spending but worth it for quickly prepared food that isn't fast food. The feisty feta is a must have!
(5)Jacob S.
Friendly staff, fresh, and yummy. Didn't expect much but it was way better than expected. Chicken gyro was awesome and fries were also good. Will drive thru next time.
(5)Shana O.
First time i've been here...i love Greek food, and there aren't many places around Marysville that have good Greek food. I was excited to try them out, as they seemed to have some really good reviews. The service was good - everyone was friendly and responsive. And, i enjoyed the music soundtrack they had playing. But, that's about it. The food - overpriced and, to be honest, just not that good. Much more expensive than Petra in Seattle, and nowhere near as good. I was very disappointed. Also, surprised to see a Greek restaurant that doesn't have Baba Ghanoush. There were flies buzzing around all over the restaurant, as the door was open -- never a good thing. I probably won't go back. Not absolutely horrible, but not what i was expecting for the prices.
(2)Kylie S.
Every single time I've been here it's been awesome service and great tasty food. No complaints. If I could criticize, I'd say it's a little expensive but maybe that's what Greek food goes for. Very yummy gyros!
(4)Dmitri T.
This place is owned by a Greek lady, (most others are arabic) and you can certainly tell. Been here twice now, both times gyros were exceptional, fries crispy, and the greek fry sauce savory! I got skordalia the second time, and it's pita with mashed garlic dip and it made my day. I don't post reviews on yelp, but this place pretty much made me. yeah, go try it. They have about 15 tables and a nice back patio! It's awesome to sit outside, but they don't have beer - they said it's cool if you BYOB.
(5)Jonathan M.
Welcome to Flavortown, population you! The food here is amazing. I had a bad case of eyes larger than stomach and ordered a gyro with Greek fries, a chicken gyro with Greek fries for my wife (who is currently struggling to finish her enormous meal) and the Neo appetizer plate which we hope will be just as delicious in the morning because we are too stuffed to eat anything else tonight. The gyro meat is labeled as beef, but I'm pretty sure they snuck a little love in there. The drive-thru is fast and convenient, and the attendant was courteous which is pretty much what I expect in this area. Eat here tonight!
(5)Kelly R.
Gyro plate for me was awesome! The fries with feta cheese are the best! Crisp and yummy. Food is fresh and the service is friendly. Thank you!
(4)Jaè D.
Pretty good place to eat gyros. They are a little costly but seem to be consistent. The only down fall is that the place always seems to be dirty and the smell of their bus station lingers in the air. GROSS.... Also, don't ever go there in a rush it takes them a while.
(3)Linda M.
My parents live in Marysville and I've long wanted to try this place. I read the reviews, both positive and otherwise, and hoped for the best. "Oh, well" pretty much sums up my experience. I got a falafel pita and Greek fries. The fries were good with a unique dip. The pita was disappointing--parts of the falafel actually crunched as I chewed! There were two small pieces each of tomato and onion, and the rest was lettuce, sauce, and the feta cheese I paid extra for. Even at that I probably would have gone back sometime when I craved Greek food, but this modest amount of mediocre grub was $10.92! I live in Seattle, where meals like this go for $7 or $8 and taste delicious. I'd feel foolish to ever come back here.
(2)Nicholas D.
The wife and I stopped by here tonight for dinner and were very impressed. It was our first visit. The wife had never had a Gyro before so it was a new experience for her. She ordered the Shrimp Charmoula Gyro and I order a traditional Gyro. We wanted to try something else as well and the guy taking our order suggested the Greek Fries, fries seasoned with lemon, oregano and feta cheese, served with their special dipping sauce. It was all excellent. I work near by and will be turning this spot into a frequent stop when I have the time. Excited to try more things on the menu in future visits. We also sat out on their patio under the shade of an umbrella. Very nice atmosphere and outstanding food.
(5)Amber H.
The lamb was super dry and tough! The Greek Fries were okay but nothing to great. Was disappointed:(
(3)Tiffany C.
I've always loved Kafe Neo. Their service and food has always exceeded my expectations. Lately, I feel like this location has taken a turn for the worse. The service is lacking in that it's not welcoming. The atmosphere is far and cool. No music plays anymore. The food, while still very satisfying, used to be much better. I won't give up on this place if the owners dont!
(3)Chelsey G.
I love Kafe Neo - their hummus plate, chicken rice soup and desserts are very good. I love that you can go to the drive-through window on the way home to pick up a non-fast-food dinner instead of cooking or sitting in a restaurant. The staff are always friendly and I like the little restaurant atmosphere.
(4)Stevie R.
Ordered teriyaki chicken gyro, which was really yummy! Felt like almost a pound of food! Also ordered the greek fries, they tasted amazing but small portion and the ketchup/feta sauce that came w them was very strange. Will be back to try traditional gyro!
(4)Kathleen T.
This place is good. I never cared for Mediterranean before but this place kinda got me hooked. I love the outdoor patio when the weather is nice enough. Always a good choice
(4)Paige S.
My favorite place to get a gyro-so good don't forget the feta! Also the Greek fries with feta and ketchup/tzatziki dipping sauce to die for!!!! Yum!!!
(5)Christy C.
I have eaten here at least a half a dozen times. The food has always been good, as well as the service. I've tried many of their gyros, but the most delicious is their Chicken Teriyaki gyro. It's my all time favorite!!! When ever I'm hungry and don't know what to eat, I just stop in here and I'm happy.
(5)Elizabeth G.
I love this place, my family and i have been going for years. Even my toddlers love the food. My favorite is the hummus, greek fries and lamb gyros.
(5)Misty C.
This place is amazing. my sister and I go here ever time she comes to town from Idaho and I go one my own when I am in the area. they have the best Gyros and their Greek fries are so delicious. I have try a few Greek places and the fries come covered in oil, but not Neo's they are fresh golden and have feta and seasoning that make them to die for. and their dipping sauce just makes the worth coming back time and time again. This is one restaurant that I wish would come to Lake Stevens.
(5)HeeBee G.
I could eat Greek food everyday. It is so flavorful and just plain fun. Why are there not more Greek restaurants? When I wandered into Kafe Neo, I was concerned that it was just another gyro place. The "fake" gyro places are the worst. However, I was pleasantly surprised to find complete Greek offerings including: Pastitisio, Mousaka, Spanakopita, and the hard to find Tyropita. The hub had the combo gyro with fries. The gyro meat was authentic...not that frozen pre-formed stuff. And the fries were hand cut and freshly fried for each order. They come topped with feta cheese and a great layered dipping sauce. I had the three tyropita which are wonderful little triangles of melted feta cheese folded into phylo dough and crisped in the oven. Yummy and buttery. I ordered tzatziki sauce and kalamata olives (called "Greek olives" on the menu) on the side. A nice light meal! We brought home some baklava...haven't tried it yet...I am sure it is great. So very happy to find real-deal Greek food in my own back yard.
(5)Michelle W.
I love Kafe Neo! Best Greek food ever! I love the chicken and lamb plates. They make the best salad dressing for the salad. Chicken is grilled to perfection and their tzatziki sauce is delicious. Homemade baklava anyone? I love it! Choose from several Greek desserts. Kafe Neo's friendly service is commendable and even offers a drive-up window if you're on the go. It is a small place with a pull up glass-paned garage door on the street end for sunnier days. With ann ambience in Greek music and decor, be prepared for a delicious and super heathy and reasonably priced Greek food experience.
(5)Carol J.
Love this place and their food! Love the ability to drive through!!! The chicken Neo is delicious as us the spanakopita and for dessert the baklava!!!!
(5)Ben H.
Had the gyro sandwiches and they were good as always. Also had the hummus plate which was wonderful.
(4)Jolene D.
Great stuff. Ordered some great food and really enjoyed myself. They also have free wi-fi
(5)Millicents F.
I recently discovered that I LOVE GREEK FRIES!
(4)Stef M.
Why is this classified as a bakery? I guess they must make their own pastries. As much as this place looks like a generic fast food joint, stop by and try their food, because it's great! I got a combination plate so I could try a few different things. It came with an amazing Greek salad - they have some sort of garlicky yogurt dressing that's delicious. There was also spanakopita (with spinach inside, and one with cheese inside), moussaka (eggplant with some tasty tomato sauce and cheese on top) and another item with what looked like Kraft Easy Mac noodles, but a much more delicious tomato/meat sauce topping it. I was stuffed - this is more than enough food for 2 people. My husband liked their gyro too. This is a great place to stop for a bite in Marysville if you're on your way between Seattle and Vancouver.
(4)Deborah S.
Kafe Neo is the best restaurant in Marysville. While it may take a while to get your food if you come at a busy time, it will be well worth the wait. There isn't anything on the menu that I don't absolutely love, they have a huge selection of traditional, vegetarian, and specialty gyros, amazing salads and filling dinner plates. Don't forget to save room for one of the homemade traditional greek desserts, and be sure to try the greek fries!
(5)D.J. Y.
Whoever designed their website, should be banned from the Interwebz! The food is served slowly, similar to their website loading onto my computer. Ugh...http://www.kafeneo.net/ Taste-wise, since this is the only player in the area, it's decent. They are a part of a small 2 store chain, here and in Lynnwood. Both of which serve the same menu. If you are willing to load the website, they have pictures of their plates. In a pinch, and if in the mood or midst a Greek-ish food craving, I'd hit them up.
(3)Arleen E.
We only order "to go" through the drive through. A bit of a challenge to get in and out with busy State Street traffic (it's also a stone's throw from the traffic light). Parking is limited with Ivar's sharing the lot so even getting into the drive through lane is a bit of challenge for larger vehicles. Anyway, it's the best place to get a gyro in Marysville. We order the gyro with extra meat and side of tzatziki sauce. The staff are always nice and friendly and the wait is not long. We should get out of our comfort zone and try something different next time!
(4)Tay G.
Horrible tasting food! The gyro meat (lamb) tasted like a mixture of tuna and corned beef; absolutely no flavor. My first bite, I thought I bit off a piece of the wrapper but it was just how dry the meat was. The salad tasted old and tzatziki sauce tasted like it was made with spoiled milk! I tried finishing it since I spent $12.00 for the meal but after a few bites, I had to throw it out! What a waste.
(1)Nicky G.
Great food! Came here because I saw the reviews on yelp and it paid off! The drive thru was super cute! Its not the most fancy place but it is a simple down with their roots place that serves great food! I had the chicken gyro and Greek fries and both were amazing! Also! The prices on yelp are incorrect, its actually cheaper! I got a combo for $9.25!
(5)Jessica A.
Love the food! The Chicken Caesar Gyro is my favorite!
(5)Bill W.
Really wanted to like this place, but my falafel was cold dry and hard as a hockey puck. My salad was good.
(2)Sarah W.
Has a great selection of foods, and they are usually very friendly and upbeat. There have been a few times that I have experienced lackluster service, but it seems like they are a lot more consistently helpful these days. The drive through is a nice option but it's nice that the inside doesn't have a huge "fast food vibe." I think the prices are a little high at times, but their pitas are so warm and fluffy and their Greek fries are totally my go-to comfort food, so I don't mind shelling out now and then. Compared to Froso's (the only other Greek restaurant in the area as far as I know), on a price-to-quality ratio, I'd say Kafe Neo wins!
(4)Christine C.
This place is one of my personal favorites to eat out. The food is great and I love the decor. It's a small place with few seats, but it's worth going to eat there. It's a gem and I want to keep it a secret so not too many people come and the lines get long.
(4)Calvin M.
Good place to eat. I ordered the spanakopita, beef gyro, and almond butter cookie. It came out to $13. The spanakopita was crispy and flakey. I just wished it has more fillings inside. The gyro was also very good and the portions were generous. The cookie was great. I like how it's covered with sugar flour. The service was fast and friendly. I'd definitely eat here again.
(3)Scott D.
A customer of mine brought me here and I look forward to all of my visits. The food is great and has an outdoor patio too. I love gyros and they do a darn good job with their fries with sauce and cheese. Price is right and staff is friendly too. I can't wait until my next visit!
(4)K E.
Please! Used to be good but now they have a bunch of kids running the place during evenings too much! Slow, not fresh, nothing special. I have been to greece, and ive eaten Greek food all over the world and the US... THIS PLACE IS JUST OK. OWNERS: the youngsters you have working there are not getting the job done, food used to be good but not anymore...sorry!
(2)Shannon G.
Not bad very filling
(4)Chaitanya B.
Really wanted to like this place because I'm not in Marysville very often and had to find some place to eat for dinner before seeing a movie. Driving down State Ave, saw their business, parked in the lot to eat in and I walked in. Girl at the front did not acknowledge me whatsoever. Was facing my direction counting cash and seemed terribly upset at something and just having a bad day. I didn't get a hi or eye contact or anything. I stood there in front of her in the counter for a good 2 minutes and then decided if she wasn't going to say hi or anything then I'll take my business somewhere else. Clearly, she isn't in charge of keeping that place in business. I'm really upset that I had to go to Ivars right across from them instead and had fried fish...Oh well!
(1)Diana N.
Good gyros. I don't feel like this place has anything house made or made fresh because it feels like it is pre-made or previously frozen. I like that there's a drive thru, and a lovely outdoor dining patio. Cute place for what I feel is middle of nowhere Marysville. I'm a city girl so thankfully the food hit the spot at the right moment for wherever I was

I'm going to be completely honest... I wasn't a real fan of Kafe Neo for a long long long time. Now hubby would probably shun me for a week for saying such an awful thing about one of his favorite eateries. But I've had an epiphany, or more correctly, I discovered the Souvlaki (pork) Platter. The above-mentioned platter of goodness is a pile of tastiness. Lovely pilaf with feta, fabulous fresh salad with some Greek dressing + tzatziki + Greek olives (best I've ever had mind you!) + cukes + tomatoes, grilled pita, a tub of extra tzatziki, and a whole heapin' helpin' of super grilled souvlaki. They use some sort of curry marinade for the pork... it rocks. I leave happy, content, and feeling like I filled my tummy with good fresh food. The gyro's are excellent (although it annoys me they charge extra for a spattering of feta). Pasta salad is flavorful and I adore the hummus. Oddly enough, they have some of the best french fries around. We think it's because they're only cooked to order. The desserts have always left a little to be desired. Everything I've ordered out of the cold case has tasted, well, old. Looks great, but disappointing once you set it free. I will share a little secret though in this category... the chocolate crinkle cookies (especially the day-olds for cheap) are fab. Overall I wish they were a tad cheaper. It's good quality eats, but a dollar or so less on each item would make me want to come in more often. The platters aren't badly priced but a basic gyro with fries and a drink comes in over $10 with tax. And you're only getting a handful of fries at that. Bonus points for having some of the nicest servers around. :)
(4)Barry Z.
Great greek semi fast food place. Family owned local small chain. Great gyro's and fries and baklava. I dig getting a nice fresh gyro out the drive thru.
(4)Tarah W.
Kafe Neo is my favorite Greek restaurant. They make huge, delicious gyros with fluffy pita. I love the chicken Caesar gyros. The greek fries and falafel are also good. They have a variety of Greek dishes and pastries. The restaurant itself is casual and cute. The front of the building opens up in the summer and has some additional seating outside. There is a drive through which is a nice convenience. It is not fast-food though, so the drive through isn't super quick. Kafe Neo catered an event for our group at Everett Community College a couple years ago and everything about the catering was perfect. The service, presentation, and food were great. It was a big hit!
(5)Jessie W.
Great prices, delicious food - try the filo sampler (one each of the spinach, cheese & chicken) & an almond raspberry Italian soda!
(4)Jessi M.
Stopped in here today for lunch with the Hubby to be. Food was good, service was decent, and the prices were good for the quality of the meal. We ordered the Greek fries, chicken platter, and hummus. I also purchased a day old home baked peanut butter cookie for dessert. Here is the breakdown: Fries: tasty. Slightly crispy outside, sprinkled with oregano, lemon juice, and feta. Served with a dipping sauce of ketchup, tzatziki, and feta. I nearly lost my hand trying these. The voracious beast across the table said they tasted fresh, and the sauce had "synergy". He absolutely loved them. Hummus & Pita: pretty good. Warm pita, generous amount, and accompanied by about a half cup of hummus with a Greek olive in the center. Not spectacular, but definitely solid. Chicken platter: this platter was intense. Quite a bit of white meat chicken, grilled, seasoned with lemon and oregano and sliced. It was moist and tasty! Also on the platter were a Greek salad (a bit too much vinegar for our taste); rice pilaf flavored with lemon and topped with feta--nice bite, but I couldn't eat much; and more pita. Dessert was just ok. I was prepared for the fact that it was a day old; I was not prepared for the peanut butter cookie tasting like a snickerdoodle...clear down to the cinnamon sugar coating. Very odd. I would be hard pressed to find any peanut butter flavor... All in all, a good meal, with some elements that stand out better than others. Worth stopping at next time you are in Marysville.
(4)Moon W.
The service was friendly. I thought the place was cute. My gyro didn't taste exactly like the gyro's in Europe, but for a smaller town, I thought it was good enough. My daughter had mizithra and pasta which was delicious, and my other daughter had a grilled cheese sandwich made with pita bread. The fries were great, also. I plan on going back.

I first found out about Kafe Neo when my friend took me to this cafe's Edmonds location. I fell in love with their Greek food, especially the gyros!! I go to this place in Marysville often if I am looking for a delicious, quick lunch or dinner. It is not nice as the Edmonds and Mill Creek locations, it's not 'restaurant-looking'; more of a cafe setting with simple, non-fancy things to eat. I usually get the same thing & most of the staff knows me by now. My favorite thing to order is the regular or lamb gyro. If my memory serves me right, the regular gyro is 5.95 and the lamb gyro is 6.95 (w/o side)? Not too bad. Lately, they have been pretty fast with getting my order ready, so it's just like going to a fast food place, only this is nicer and a bit exotic with being Greek. The reason why I didn't give them 5 stars out of 5 is because I've noticed that about 4-5 times out of all the times I've gotten a gyro in the past, the take-out order was done incorrectly. I cannot eat too much dairy and ask them to not include the sauce/cheese, but sometimes it still has either cheese or sauce (or even both). That part is frustrating because I don't want to have to drive back to inform them then wait for my order to be redone. The gyros are wrapped up in foil, so it's not like I can easily unwrap it with how it's done. But overall, I count on this cafe as one of my regular locations to visit whenever I am in the mood for affordable & quick Greek food! :)
(4)Kathryn E.
I highly recommend their soup. Also the gyro's are fantastic. I like the drive through option too.
(3)Cristelle J.
I really love Kafe Neo's, when I used to live in Washington normally after work if I was hungry (which was a lot) I'd drive down State Ave. and pick up some Gyros. The best part of this place is the portions are HUGE. Now I'm a huge fan of the greek fries with tons of feta cheese. The only huge poo poo about this place is the service is hella slow. Like the drive through especially now I don't mind inside because well I'm sitting in a nice environment and I get to people watch but inside the car...come on drive through's are supposed to be fast. But other than that I LOVE THIS PLACE

Great gyros, I could eat these everyday! I've tried the spanakopita and a few desserts and they were just okay.

Amazing food. Extremely consistent. Pretty reasonable prices. You can feed two for around18-25 bucks if you get sides and sodas. If I were you, I'd get tzaziki sauce on side, they go a little heavy. If you havent had a GYRO before, get it. They are delicious filling. We have Kafe Neo at least once a month.

Best food ever, I always get a greek salad, a gyro, and greek fries. YUMMMM

I LOVE this place. I would eat here everyday if I wouldnt get disgustingly fat. But if I were dying and only had a few months to live... I would eat here everyday! I always get the same thing when I come so I dont really know how well everything else is. But the chicken ceaser gyro is the best gyro I have had. YUM! And the people are always super nice and the price is very reasonable. Ya i love this place.

Chicago style gyros are DELICIOUS but kind of expensive. The staff is very kind and polite. Will happily keep eating here, just on a limited basis.

Only been here 3 times so far and feel the food is just ok. Place is nice and clean, staff/service has been both good and not so good, food has been inconstant, in general, just OK. But there's also not many other options in the area for this type of food. I've been to Lynnwood location as well which I thought was nicer environment, but same experience with food and staff. I would go again if in the area and had a craving for gyros, otherwise, will look elsewhere.

Good, quick and tasty. The outside seating is nice in the summer, although loud since its right on the main street. The Greek Fries are a tasty American teat with a Greek twist.

Love this place! It's easy and convenient and their food is fabulous. The food always tastes fresh and healthy and there is literally something for everyone. I highly recommend the vegan gyro. Nothing but yummy vegetables, hummus and avocado!

I miss the sauteed veggies or would have been 5 stars. Love their chicken gyro with feta! The best tzaziki sauce!

As an eastsider working in the northern wilderness, good lunch spots around here can be difficult to come by. After much trepidation searching for places on Yelp (4 stars for Golden Corral Buffet, really?!?) I gave Kafe Neo a shot. Couldn't have picked better. Service was fast, my Gyro was as good or better than almost anywhere, the Greek fries with feta were fantastic, and all for under $10 (with soda!). If you find yourself in Marsyville and are seeking something Greek, Kafe Neo is a good bet.

Really fast and tasty place to grab a Greek bite to eat! Food is fabulous. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is because I've been to the Edmonds/Lynnwood location - so I'm spoiled by that locations' more upscale feel and ability to dine in a more restaurant/less fast food environment. Great option!

My favorite drive through in the world is Kafe Neo in Marysville. I love the falfel plate and they will make it with whole wheat pita. It comes with a Greek salad, 4 flafels, 2 dolmathes, some taziki sause and a whole wedge of feta. I like to crumble the flafel into the salad for a hot and cool bite, then save the pita for a snack later. Great deal for only $ 9.25. Also love the other veggie gyro selections that have other fancy ingredients like Brie, pesto, pine nuts, and sun dried tomato. Gotta try the Faki too. It's a savory veg lentil soup and can get it with or without a dollup of feta in the middle. I can't resist it.

Don't let the tiny size of this restaurant fool you! It has really good gyros and amazing Greek fries. Also a helpful and always friendly staff.

After a long day of shopping at the outlet mall, I needed some nourishment. I found this place on Yelp before I headed up to the mall. I would best describe this place as Greek fast food. They even have a drive thru. They have a huge menu with gyros that I have never seen anywhere else such as shrimp, fish, salmon, and even one they call Chicago style. I settled on the traditional gyro with Greek fries and the fillo combo. The Greek fries are so yummy topped with feta and oregano. They are served with their special fry sauce which was a mixture of ketchup, tzaziki (sp?), and feta. Sounds a bit odd, but it works. The gyro was flavorful and was filled with plenty of meat. No skimping here! The fillo combo consisted of spanakopita, tyropita, and kreatopita. These items were ok. Nothing special. The service was friendly and fast. I wouldn't drive out here just for this place but the next time I'm in the area, I am definitely stopping by for food.

In the town of Marysville, which is splattered with cookie cutter national chain restaurants, Kafe Neo is a fresh breath of air. The food is always well prepared, the service is good, and the setting is comfortable. Not to mention that the food prices are very reasonable. Favorites include: neo chicken, sample plate, garlic greek fries, and the philly cheese steack gyro. It is family friendly. Plan to spend 5-10 dollars for lunch and a drink.

I think this is the only Greek place around. 1. Drive through option 2. Quick service 3. Delicious food! 4. Nice eating space

I drove by this place on Saturday evening and the place was jumping. I could tell the energy was incredible. Stopped in on Sunday and had a hummus plate. Yummay. The server was friendly, knowledgable and quick. I lingered a little over my meal and watched every table fill up and just as quickly as a table would empty it would be quickly cleared. I loathe staring at other peoples dirty dishes so this was a plus in my book. Fantistic food, friendly vibe and awesome service. I'll definately be back....and I'm going to tell alll my peeps about this place. *two thumbs up*

There are actually three of these family Greek diners and I've only gone to the one in Marysville which is next to Ivar's and on State Ave. across from Kmart. I normally have the Falafel Plate which includes vegetarian dolmathes ($9.25), although any one of their five vegetarian gyro selections for about five and one half bucks are tasty gut bombs too. The lentil soup is okay. Sadly the vegetarian mousaka is not offered at the Marysville diner. My wife likes their Greek Chicken Salad ($8.95).

Kafe Neo's offers great food and an excellent wait staff. The portions are just right. I tried the lamb gyro with feta...delicious! I loved the Greek fries as well. I wish that there was a meal deal that you could orders a gyro with fries. I felt that the food was just a little over priced but I can understand high prices during the economic downturn. I would return to Kafe Neo's.

I like this place but it feels a little too fast food (maybe it is supposed to be). Fries are yummy. Priced a little high if a fast food joint but not sure if they are or a restaurant...

It's a great place for Gyros especially since Marysville doesn't have much selection in restaurants minus the fast food places. But Kafe Neo's gyros are good plus there Greek fries are pretty tasty. As for their hummus it is pretty decent. It's a great place to go out for lunch with some friends or even just a quick drive thru lunch.

to this day, the best hummus and pita i've ever had!

For some weird reason I'd been craving gyros about two weeks, and I chose to satisfy my craving here because: A. I'd never been to Kafe Neo before, and B. It was convenient for me on the day I decided to come here. I rrrrreally wish I could give this place 4 stars. I liked the food, and I want to return for it. I got the gyro and greek fries combo. I was very interested to try the greek fries, and they were tasty. Here's my beef; the service was lacking, and the price is too steep for what you get. When I ordered, the server was friendly, and repeated what I wanted twice, but still forgot some of my food for the combo. I totally understand that mistakes happen, but this server didn't seem to care that they'd messed up. And while they gyro was good, I've had better for cheaper. Kafe Neo is almost there. If you're craving a gyro or greek fries and you're in the area, go here. If not, go somewhere else.

The place is pretty good. I've never had greek food before or a gyro to compare it with but to me its pretty good, better than goin to mcdonalds or something. I've been to kafe neos a few times and will keep going. the service is good and so is the food.

Having converted a local coffee stop into Marysville's into a small place with a passion to please, Kafe Neo is a fun casual dining restaurant that caters to those that want to dine in, take out, or drive thru...and in Marysville, one of the only places you are going to find your favorite Greek foods.
(3)Nathan T.
This place has pretty good food. It's not really the best place to sit down and eat because the dining room is pretty small but my wife and I get takeout from here all the time. The only problem with takeout is that you'll want to be sure to check your order before you drive away, they can't ever seem to get an order completely right. The last time we went there my wife ordered a chicken greek salad and got home to find out they'd forgotten the chicken. We went back and they remade the salad and gave her extra chicken but it was still a pain.
