Sooooo I love food. Like LOVE food. So when my inner fatty says "I'm feeling soup" I'm down! Sadly it was 1am when my I.F (Inner fatty) decided it wanted yummy soup ... luckily I have an awesome Husband who was willing to come to my rescue while I took care of our crying Son. So I do my Yelp thangy, thang and behold this joint is open till 4am!!! There are plenty of pictures of the menu and dishes previous guest had chosen (thank you) so I went with the Wanton soup. The association who picked up was quick and efficient and gave me a 10 min wait time. When my husband returns he has a container filled with delicious broth and a normal take out box filled with all my fixins (which I appreciated because no one wants gummy over cooked noodles in room temperature broth and my green veggies were still green). All the ingredients were fresh and well seasoned my ONLY complaint was that the won ton filling was a little on the sweet side ... which kinda sent my taste buds on a weird adventure they weren't ready for. The shrimp smelled fresh, good chew texture and the noddles were properly cooked and not clumped together. The broth was yummy and didn't need anything. We will definitely return to this restaurant to give their menu another go ... just not on a Fri or Sat night cause it always looks crazy packed. Sorry I didn't take any pictures ... I was hungry ... so yeah ... good eating!!

Good bowl of pho. The large bowl is not as large as other restaurants and your meal doesn't automatically come with tea. Other than that, its main advantages are its hours. Open later.

I've probably been here close to 30 times. They've been relatively consistent. Food is good. Service is good. Facilities are good.

We have been here many times and enough for me to say "I still stand by my first review". Pho is decent. Not the best like everyone keep pushing it on here. Service is typical as always: no frills, order, eat, pay. The only time we go here is if we are too lazy to drive to our spot (Pho Dragon). Good enough to eat, but not enough to satisfy that pho craving.

I used to go here with my boyfriend. Pho is very good here. But every time we ordered food, they always mess it up. It happened 5 times, and I was so disappointed with their services. How can we ordered 2 Pho and they only bring one. My bf was so up set because he had been a very good customer there. I guess we can't come back here in a while until their services get better..

Thank you, God, for setting this ast abolishment across from the neighboring "Phò taì". That place was... Okay, another review. This Phò hoÄ was a breath of relieving fresh air in our search of phò in the area. The atmosphere was so-so, but large enough to seat the busy rush and provided necessary elements such as high chairs :) Our waiter was a sweet heart. He was extremely patient with my confused, Caucasian in-laws. He kept up with the lunch rush and made sure our water glasses were full and we all were taken good care of. The phò was SO satisfying! Great price, HUGE portions. As always, veggie phò for me. Great tasting broth, tender noodles, veggies lightly cooked, and a good sized portion of fresh basil, lime, bean sprouts and jalapeños for my toppings. There was no tofu in my veggie phò. For the price I would not expect it, and I didn't miss it with all of the good flavors and textures presented. The Bahn mi sandwiches ordered were also generously sized and at the low price of $3.50... So awesome! The were good, too. Bubble tea had fun astrology characters on the sealed lids. Average price, larger portion, great taste :) For a phò joint, this location of phò hoÄ was an experience that I'll be back "phò". Haha ;)

I love that this place is open late! Pretty tasty, especially for the some late night food. Definitely worth your time.

Great quality broth. The wait could be a pain during busy hours but there's nothing you can do about it..

This was my go-to pho spot in Tacoma but I think the owners changed? I havent gone in a while but I went last week to get to-go but I couldn't recognize any of the staff. I ordered veggie pho to-go (extra bean sprouts and no cauliflowers) with non cooked noodles. Ordered by phone and told them I would pick it up in 5 minutes and the lady said that it will be ready when I got there. Got there and I had to wait 10 minutes..Finally got my order and went home to find that they gave me cauliflowers and no extra bean sprouts :( not a big deal but still.. I'll probably go back since its the only pho place in Tacoma I decently like.

I've come here multiple times before, the service has always been mediocre. Tonight I went in and ordered to regular sized phos, when I went to go pay for them they told me they had messed up and wrote it out as two large meals. Although they were the ones at fault, we had to pay the cost. If you f*** up the write up, why do the customers have to pay for it? Probably won't ever recommend this place or come here again. You're better off with ANY OTHER PHO PLACE.

Pho is OK. Broth is a little bit bland but it's better than Seattle -China town location. Service is fast. If you're hungry in a middle of a night and no one is open except drive thru fast food, this is the place to go to. They open late hours.
A MAN'S MAN Review of Pho Hoa Not my first choice in getting Pho but for those late night munchies after hitting the club and twerking all night... maybe for some of you it was wall-banging because you can't dance. Pho Hoa on South Tacoma Way is the spot! I wouldn't recommend the pho across the street tho! Pho Hoa the better choice in getting your pho fix after late night hours. I belive they are open til 4AM but I know for sure it's late! I never pay attention, all I see is Pho Hoa open after club hours and filled with other clubbers, families, and friends just hanging out getting their pho on! Not the cleanest of places... kinda greasy at times but who cares! The only time I'd care if chef Gordon Ramsay himself walks outta the back kitchen and starts to tell everyone to stop (explicit language inserted here) eating. Good parking but there's this one parking spot right next to the entrance of the Pho Hoa. Someone must have been smoking that good sh*t because if you park in that one spot and another car parks to your left (driver-side), forget about trying to get in/out of your car. If you see a parking spot right next to Pho Hoa... and it looks too good to be true. It's probably the spot I'm talking about. Go ahead, park there and see what happens! Overall, good place for sobering up after the club or if your having the taste for some pho and it's already late at night. Pho' sho!

I've only been here once, but I'm feeling so-so about this place. There's a lot of great reviews and this place was packed during lunch time when my friends and I visited, but I felt like the food was just OK. I was surprised that they had bun bo hue, which I really want to try if I ever go back. I got their meatball pho and they're kinda stingy on the meat. Noodle to meat ratio was way off and I think they might add msg in their food because I ended up downing 5 glasses of water after leaving. Their boba wasn't that great either. The lychee tastes nothing of the delicious fruit and my friend who ordered their thai tea said it was waaaay too sweet.

This place is the worst - rude, and slow. They lied about having vegetarian broth. When we ordered, our server assured us they had it, and came back with a bowl of what was obviously just hot water. We also found a piece of tripe in the vegetarian bowl. Bad prices and no respect for the customers. In short, go across the street to Pho Tai! Much better food there, and they're straight with you!

I am hesitant to write a review, as I feel I need to go here more than once to get a true feel for the place. I may have to return and update my review later. As it stands, we were please in our visit to Pho Hoa. We ordered a fried spring roll, a fresh roll, and two bowls of pho tai (rare beef). The pho and fresh roll came out at the exact same time. Not a big deal, but I would've liked to enjoy the appetizers first. The fried roll came out wayyyy later. So, they have some timing issues they could sort out. But, not a huge deal. The pho was okay, pretty standard, but not amazing. The plate of basil and bean sprouts wasn't as generous as other places I've been to. I did notice that the noodles were especially good, though. The service was fine. Again, nothing amazing, but not bad either. I think we'll return... But they didn't do anything to make themselves stand out in my mind.

Always my go to spot whenever I'm in town visiting my family. It's affordable, the menu has a variety of different authentic Vietnamese dishes and they're open late. I love that the broth is always steaming hot, cooks the steak to perfection. I've brought friends here from Seattle, and I can assure you...they never look at a bowl of pho the same haha!
(5)
Matt G.
Real good place for Authenticity. Yeah it's a hole in the wall but its all about the food!
(5)
Ashley-Marie W.
They have pretty decent pho. Great prices and the staff is friendly. The HUGE plus for me are the loooong hours. I believe they are open until about 3 or 4am. I've longed for a pho place open that late in Philly.
(4)
Sara B.
If you're a person who normally gets tofu pho be aware that they use frozen tofu so it comes incredibly dried out and sponge-like. It also only comes with beef broth so if you are vegetarian you won't want to eat here. My husband ordered the steak and brisket pho and really liked it. It came out nicely cut and very fresh. Overall this place offers a generic broth, fast service, but really, nothing special.
(3)
David H.
Service is fair, environment is clean, but a huge language barrier. Point an hope for the best. The chicken in the pho looked like lunch meat, and the concept of "add"as opposed to "on the side" seems to be an issue. With as many dozens pho of teriyaki and pho restraints, you can do way better.
(2)
T N.
Every time we want some late night pho, this is the place we go to. The establishment is clean and the food is very good and decently priced. We always get pho and the broth is always light and clean. The spring rolls and peanut sauce is also very tasty. If you have a sweet tooth after, get the bubble tea. I recommend taro & coconut mixed! Anytime someone tells me they've never tried pho, this is where I bring them :)
(5)
Tamalii P.
My husband and I come here faithfully, a lot of new workers tho. But the place is really great love the service they are prompt and friendly. Food is amazing, prices are great. We used to go to pho tai across the street but once you receive better experience and food it's hard to go back to what you are accustomed to from before. We do go back every once in a while when we're taking out our siblings because they like the variety pho tai had such as pies, chicken Katsu etc.

To be fair, I'm not a Pho-pro (I've had it here once, and it seemed good to me)...but, if you're looking for a BahnMi (vietnamese sammich) - this is the place to go! The french bread roll is always warm and crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. It's filled with pickled veggies that are crisp and tangy and fresh sliced jalepenos that add a nice kick to the sammy. For $3.50, you really can't go wrong. I always get the pork and it's tender, and superbly seasoned! For $1 more, you can add a second helping of the meat - DO IT! The staff seems friendly, the wait time isn't anything to fret about, and the cleanliness of the place seems fine as well. I've only sat and ate here once, though. The other times, I took my order to go and the guy at the register has always been super nice and efficient.

On a scale from 1-10 this is how I'd rate today's visit. Greeting: 4 I'm not fond of places that aren't clear on if you should seat yourself or not. Cleanliness: 4 The place seems fairly clean, however there were beansprouts and food left over from the previous guests on my chair. Service: 3 The person who took our order was awful, he wasn't as friendly as the person who gave us our menus. He didn't ask if we wanted a small or large pho, just bad service. Once our order was taken we had to keep going to the counter for things that we needed, because they NEVER came back. They also never delivered a tab, I had to again go to the counter to pay. This place should consider having people just go to the counter to order, and everything, this is not the best, or well organized, for a sit down place. Pho: 6.5 Out of the mouth of babes (aka my oldest son), "It's not the best, but it's not the worst either". I'd have to agree with my son on that one. Vietnamese sandwich: 8 They have sandwiches on the back of the menu for $3.50, definitely the way to go here, pretty good. Fried rice: 5 This was not very flavorful, but it was still easy to eat, it was just ok. Hours: 9 The hours are great, the only reason that I'd come back is if I wanted something late at night. Overall I thought this place was just ok.

Our go to Pho! The broth is perfect! Their Bahn Mi are delicious and a Summer Roll is always on my order- a must. They stay open until 3am too so a late night sobering Bowl of Pho is always available. Our favorite place for Pho in Tacoma, we visit at the least 2-3x a month.
(5)
Norma A.
I have to say for a Pho chain this place does not disappoint. The flavorful pho is perfect for these Washington rainy days. I also tried the Bahn Mi and wish it would have had just a little more of the Cha Lua but it was great. I also tried the Honeydew flavored Boba Tea and it was great. If you are looking for good quality pho dispite the chain appeal it is a great place!

I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and halfway eating it, I found a hair in my soup. They did replace the soup, but I noticed they took the same pig knuckle in my previous bowl and put it in the new one. Not coming back again.

I love Pho and love the Pho from Vietnamese's owner. This place very nice and clearn. The soup very good and com tam is amazing. I love the Coffe here also. I and 4 friend eat Pho,com tam,Coffe and pay only $30.00 I will come back

First time having pho and let me tell u this place was great. A clean and good service restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when u have a taste for pho.

The food was decent. Not the best pho I had but it was edible. The soup was not very flavorful and the brisket in the pho was a little too chewy for me.The Won tun noodle soup was ok but it was a little too salty for me but overall the won tun and shrimp was good. The service was also terrible and the restaurant was not the cleanest. I came here because of the high ratings on yelp but it was really disappointing. I don't think I will be visiting this establishment again.

This is our default go-to place for comfort food...with so many choices in the STW - Tacoma/Lakewood area for Pho now, Pho Hoa stands above the rest with consistenly good Pho and service. Also, when ordering #43, one of my favorite,"Spicy Beef" special, be aware the English description is not accurate. You will get pig blood cake and pigs feet with your spicy beef broth soup. It is delish. However, if you are not used to eating real Asian food....just be forewarned.
(3)
Kenneth O.
Spicy beef soup was amazing. Perfect amount of spice and meat. Services was polite and informative. They really know their menu.

I was in need of some midnight snack so I came back to this restaurant to get some spring rolls. It was cheaper than the other Vietnamese restaurant across the road (Pho Tai) as far as the roll goes.. It was $1.69 each here and pho tai's roll was $1.99 each. Well 30 cents difference but I wouldn't come back to this place for spring rolls again. Nothing but rice noodles... It's just not right. Very dry :( noooooo~~~~ Their pho and the ambience were way better than pho tai. Just bad spring rolls :(

I'm normally not a fan of Vietnamese food. However, it was chilly in Tacoma and what better way to warm up than a big bowl of pho? The menu has every combination of pho you can imagine. Beef, seafood, vegetarian. They've got you covered. Our party included some children between 2-8 years and they had a smaller portions available for them as well. Seat yourselves folks. I prefer the table right behind the fish tank. It will provide entertainment while waiting for your order. You really won't wait long. Service is speedy here. I'm talking less than 5 min before huge, steaming aromatic bowls arrive. Everyone ordered something different and we all sampled each other's pho. My favorite was the wonton pho. I also sampled the steak triple pho. Loved the extra veggies in the broth. The meatball pho was good but my fav was still the wonton. We also ordered fried rolls as an appetizer. Delish. We left the restaurant stuffed and happy. My next visit to Tacoma, we're coming back.

everytime I'm in tacoma this is the only pho spot I go to. They give a really good amount of all three broth, noodles, and meat. Not pricey at all and they're avocado boba iz da bomb! They're open hella late too!

Very non personable service. Pho was not as tasty as lunch. Seems the dinner crew has a different outlook on customer service and quality of their pho.

This is a very good Pho place. Great portions, great cuts of meat and a great base soup. I generally get the Spicey Beef Pho bowl (I forgot the exact name). It sort of has a red tint to the soup and its absolutely delicious.
(5)
Joshua G.
Pretty decent Pho. I had the steak and brisket. The brisket was much more tender than the steak. My wife had the "stew" which had a really good flavored broth. Banh Mi is very good, great break on it. Service is pretty lacking. Same as others, you don't know if you should seat yourself. You get one shot at ordering and you never see the server again. You go pay at the counter. If you know what to expect, it's great. Very quick, good quality. Just don't expect a "waiter" type of experience.
(4)
Peretz S.
I work right next to this pho place and I go this place a lot because of its price and fair quality of pho. It is not a best high quality of pho in the world but it is fairly tasty and fairly cheap for its food portion. Very friendly, love bubble teas too! If you have only hour lunch break and looking to have have a good fair price pho! This place is good to go!

I haven't been here in a few years! From what I can remember, this place wasn't too bad. Not the best but not the worst! My sister had the seafood pho and I stole pieces of her squid and scallops. She said she would rate it as 4 1/2 stars. While I only had a spring roll and egg roll! For some reason.. I am really picky with eggrolls.. and I will admit the ones at pho.. are always go! P.S. I LOVE THE HUGE FISH IN THE BACK TANK~
(5)
Erica E.
This place is clean unlike other pho places. Being vegetarian, it's always been difficult to find vegetarian friendly pho, especially a good one. I always get the tofu pho with vegetable broth and I get a nice amount of tofu and vegetables in it. The noodles are delicious too! It's a great spot to hang out at, I would recommend this pho shop to anyone that hasn't been here yet.

Food was good. Called in an order that was lost. Had to wait. Floors were dirty and staff was not very friendly.

There are really just a handful of places that are open really late in the Tacoma and Lakewood areas. To my knowledge at least. Pho Hoa is open until 4 am. That in of itself earns it five stars. I have been here several times and have had a variety of their menu items. Probably my favorite Pho dish I have had was either the Wonton Pho or the Meatball Pho. I have had their Spicy Beef Pho and it was ok but not exactly up my alley. Pho Hoa also serves delicious Vietnamese sandwiches! I have gotten the pork sandwich and it is very good! The spring rolls are yummy too! Like any good Pho place they have Boba Tea too. They have a wide variety of flavors and have them broken down into two categories of their drinks coming from a powder or from the actual fruit or vegetable the flavor is from. For any Boba Tea connoisseur you always want the fresh or actual fruit/vegetable version. I have had plenty of powdered ones in my time and some are decent but they do not hold a candle to the real thing. Their powdered list is much larger than the fresher list but they have Avocado Boba Tea under the fresh as well as Durien and that is ok by me! Overall with the food I would give four stars but since few places are open late in this part of the metro area it is a shoo in to add another star!
(5)
Julia C.
Yummy pho and bubble tea~ They're honest about the bubble tea and how they use powder for most of the drinks with a selection of fresh fruit bubble tea...but I had no idea what any of the fruits were haha. Come here all the time with friends! Even came here after prom for a late-night dinner. Definitely a nice place to just hang out with a group and eat some delicious pho. Service is also very attentive.

Stopped by after work to get carry out. The food and bubble teas were prepared quickly and packed so nothing would leak. Their vermicelli bowls are HUGE and very reasonably priced. I ordered two #32s - vermicelli with fried egg roll and pork. I love the way they do grilled pork - thinly sliced, slightly sweet but savory flavor, and very tender. We have leftovers to enjoy tonight!

3 stars down for the bad service and 1 star down for the quality. There was 6 of us and we were certain that the waiter messed up our orders. My friend said she wanted green tea bubble tea and he brought out a pineapple.Another one friend of mine ordered a large bowl of pho and the waiter gave him a small.I order a korean short ribs and then received pork chop instead! We decided not to complain, and ordered another bubble tea for my friend since she never liked pineapple flavor. The waiter was so rude.He turned his back on us and headed to the cashier counter and smashed something over there that caused a very loud noise and said something about us in his own language. Not to mention the noodle was not well cooked since it tasted a little hard. I'm sure their food is not that bad everyday. I could have come back for the second try if the service was not that outrageous.

This place is way better than the pho restaurant across the street. Their broth has more flavor to it than the other across. Bubbleteas are on point & service is faster. Not only that I hate dining out where its always crowded. Dont get me wrong, it sometimes does get crowded here but not as constantly crowded like the other pho across the street. Best thing about this spot is they close at 4am. So that means you have all the time to convince yourself if you really want some of that yummy pho. More than likely youll end up here.
(4)
Benita K.
YES YES YES. Open til 4am. Delicious broth that isn't super MSG-heavy. Good-sized portions. Fresh garnishes (bean sprouts/mint). Banh Mi's are delicious. Reasonable prices. They have other noodle and rice dishes I'll have to check out. Tacoma pho at its finest...or it could be the hour at which I'm eating it, but seriously, when nothing else is open and they taste good, I'm pho sho' coming back.
(5)
Sandra M.
Been coming here for many years now, so happy to say I've returned after about a year and a half since I've been & it's still the same! Their pho is probably the best the noodles aren't stale or overlooked & their fried rolls is probably one of the best I've tasted. Will forever be my holy grail pho place!
(5)

We was there most time after 10pm. Some times fresh, some times not fresh , the taste not same every time. But we are happy only choice late night eating.

Im so shocked this place has 4 stars!! Severs never do anything else behinds take your order. I used to go there often but I finally had my last straw with them. I went there around 10am. Which was not busy at all. When I went up to the cash register to pay, the counter was full with water cups that were half full. Apparently they pre fill their water and let it sit there until guest comes in, then they will quickly fill it up with ice and serve it to you, it has been sitting there all day. Not to mention the ice machine was wide open. How disgusting. Water harbors bacteria very quickly!!

Im not sure, why its listed as closed. They only close for a few hours from like 4am-8am but anywho. I love this place...lol its great for after a great night out. I always great veggie pho with a side of grilled chicken. Ive been going here for a good 6 years

My family introduced me to this place, right across from Pho Tai. It seems cleaner and the staff know how to keep up with the hustle and bustle of the place at night. Kids ate up their pho and enjoyed every bite and slurp! Thanks to the flip fam for showing me a better place for pho!
(4)

We stop by around 1Am to get some hot soup after bowling games. The food was great I would give them 4 stars for the food but the service here is bad and not friendly at all. Specially The waiter, His action make me feel like We beg him for the food and the funny thing is that he don't want to speak vietnamese. so he mess up our order after that. I not come back again for that service.
(1)
Shivesh S.
I drive all the way from federal way to this place because over the phone they said they have vegetarian broth. I get there and he tells me nation a couple days. I order summer roll w tofu and he tells me they have nothing else vegetarian. He comes back gives me a menu and says his manager says it's ok. I barley understand him so he leaves. I wait 10 minutes for the person behind me to get their order... Never going back I felt I was treated horrible and they were extremely condescending...

Yep another Pho place. Spring Roll. I always order my spring roll with no ham due to an allergy. This place put extra shrimp in my spring roll. I didn't ask and it was a pleasant surprise. The Peanut Sauce was good but really nothing different then most others The Pho chosen was raw beef. The broth was clear and good flavor. The sprouts were fresh and crisp, basil had no discoloration and was delicious in my soup. Good portion on the meat and sliced thinly. Over all a good experience. I asked about MSG and the do use it but are trying eliminate it from their menu. They mentioned you can't have total MSG free I mentioned there are restaurants that are Asian that are total MSG free and get great reviews.

Had lunch at Pho Hoa for the first time today. Must admit that its the best Pho I've had to date. Restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. Only bad thing was my water glass still had lipstick on it from a less than successful wash. I ordered a Coke.

this place is not bad, the noodles are sometimes hard but overall this place got my tinglings on!.
(4)
Nicole O.
Huge pho bowls, good seating, friendly staff and good prices. Lots to choose from and I love the vanilla bubble tea. Taste like a milkshake. They are even open till 4a.m. which is fantastic for us pho maniacs. The only downfalls is when they are packed, drunk fools in there and the poor looking big dead looking fish when you walk un towards your right.

The Worst serving/server i've ever experienced!! Never gonna come back!!

This is my go to place for pho. It's clean and open until what? 4am? I've been here many many times after the club, a party, after a movie from Lakewood Cinema 15. Sometimes on a busy night after prom or a school dance it'll be packed. The quality of the food is amazing. The springs rolls are amazing. The service is great! This place is good to go!
(4)
Wayne M.
Ok. I have to say the service was so fast I had to give it 5 stars. After ordering I got my food within five minutes. The location is great since its on a busy street. But if you've never heard of it or know which complex its in. You might pass it. The food taste wonderful, comes out hot and takes a minute or two to cool down for you to chow down. Overall its worth checking out and having a nice meal. CONS: Nothing bad to say about this place PROS: very detailed menu, perfect customer service (even late at night), prices are very competive and decent for anyone. Don't take my word for it. Co.e experience it for yourself!

Love the pho here! My favorite by far! 4 stars is because of the service but that's expected lol. Go eat pho here!

Me and my boyfriend's favorite pho place in Tacoma! Love their pho broth and cheap prices. Nothing beats eating pho for under $7! Plus they're open til 4am!

the bon bo hue ( spicy noodle soup ) was amazing, the pork feet and blood was remove before i got it but its my new favorite!

Although it's a chain, this place is very consistent. Their bean sprouts are never brown, they're always fresh and the same goes for the broth. I highly recommend this restaurant as you can always except exceptional pho.
(5)
Jolene D.
This place isn't open many hours but it's the best it gets for Tacoma/Puyallup/Federal Way area.... I'm from a town where there is a high Vietnamese population and it was hard NOT to step into a Vietnamese restuarant and try the Pho. Nothing compares to home except one place in Seattle that I can't remember the name but when I dont wanna drive far PHO TAI is the place to go!
(4)
Lars W.
I like pho. This place is pretty awesome because they are open pretty late and unlike the okace across the street (Pho Thai I think) they will check on you and keep your water glass from being empty. The beef stew here is super good. I also love their sandwiches...
(4)
Ric C.
This place is outstanding. I have been here several times now and never have been disappointed. I love the fact that it is always open late (4:00AM). The food is excellent, the stock is never greasy or overpowered with MSG. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is courteous and attentive.

Favorite place for pho. The spicy beef soup is my favorite and you cant get that everywhere. Vietnamese sandwiches are cheap and delicious. Always packed but never a wait. Great service.

Pho faster than any fast food restaurant. Nice n hot! Chewy noodles and all the normal fresh fixins like basil, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeños. They stay open super late and the prices are normal. Drip coffee was the bomb! Would have given 5 stars but their avocado shakes were so-so and took a long time.

Good food but absolutely terrible customer service. I told the waiter I wasn't ready to order and he just stood there for a good few minutes until I finally decided what I wanted. Never refilled water and when taking payment pretty much refused to give change.

Hands down my favorite place to get pho. I've been to a lot of pho restaurants in Seattle down to Portland. This place is always on my mind. The broth is good, the summer rolls are good, the banh mi are good. Nothing to dislike.

Great food!!! But when it comes to service, it sucks, they seem mad at the world, and hate everyone, never coming here again!!!!!!

This is my place to go!!! This is the most authentic pho place I have tried. I like their seafood fried rice, the pho, the vietnamese sandwich (banh mi), & my favorite is the spicy beef noodle soup. Yum yum yum!! I'm not too fond of their udon but I do like their rice plates and spring/summer rolls, so does my kids. Omgosh, I really enjoy their Vietnamese ice coffee and THAI ICED TEA! A plus is people are friendly too and it is inexpensive.

Great food. Nice staff. Not much ambience and dirty fish tanks kind of creep me out, but overall a very good place and I'd highly recommend it.

Review is for the pork chop, bi rice. The taste was ok. I am happy with my food after 10pm...hehe. minus 1 star for not serving broken rice...sorry gotta have broken rice for "com tam". The bi was not done properly. It was just white chewy shred. Its missing the grainy texture and shedded meat in the bi. Most of the rice dish is served with mostly pork. A few chicken dishes and 1 short ribs served with rice. I will try pho if I have a chance next time.

I was surprised to see that this place was clean and comfortable. Not that the other Pho spots aren't, this one just made me feel more comfortable about eating here. I always order chicken Pho and the chicken is a little different in each restaurant. This chicken looked like it had been carved at a deli...yeah right. Still, there was quite a bit of chicken and the broth was very flavorful. My tummy was pleased. The staff is friendly and there is someone that actually cleans the tables as the customers leave. They actually wash the tables which seems to be lacking in some of the lesser expensive restaurants. I'll definitely be back.

I've eaten here many a time especially when I lived near. They have late hours which is always helpful when you're having a late craving but not wanting the usual options (greasy or diner style). The menu has now leaned more towards american food as they've added options for other customers. Always stick to the meals they're meant for - pho - and you'll be ok.

This place is amazing for pho. I really like the variation from normal pho recipes where the broths are similar and theres just a different combination of meats. This place has special phos where you can also get egg noodle or udon in place of pho with like beef soup or wontons. Their viet sandwiches are also pretty good! definitely recommend the pork one and the ham is actually surprisingly good too! If you need a break from your regular pho place, then this is a must try!

In terms of Pho ONLY, this is the best pho I've had in the Tacoma/Lakewood area. For the sandwiches, they're good, but I prefer one place other for the sandwiches. This place is open 10am-4am, so awesome for late night, and it will get crackin' late at night.

I like this place because of the food. However I'm not too fond of the service. I always have a feeling that servers who working here hate their job. Whenever I order something, I feel like I bother them great time. I guess a smile is too expensive for them. Too bad the owner doesn't care enough about customer service. Will come back, mostly to order to-go. Other than that, this is a great place to go to. I would rate them 5 stars of their portion a bit bigger.

My family and I decided to come check this place out while on a mission for some pho. I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was clean and the food was served the way it should be served.

Lets keep it. Simple the pho here is great, it's prepared we'll and fast never really a wait and service is nice too. Bonus is that its open so late.

The place where it all begins. Late one night on a drunken fueled frenzy to find the right accommodation to satisfy my appetite, we came upon Pho Hoa after closing time of the dance floor (2am) with a few good friends. I was then recommended a bowl of "sobering soup". I ventured in to be welcomed by a place abuzz with late-night chatter. Many patrons seemed to be native of the restaurant type; Vietnamese that also were in love with their home flavor. What I didn't know was the amazing gratification I'd feel when the broth would finally meet my lips. We found our way to our own seat, a booth on the left end, far opposite of the bathroom. I was surprised there were 3 cooks by the register dishing up huge heaps of steaming noodles in even larger bowls! What a sensation for a cold night! The smell in the air was the faint, slight aroma of cinnamon and a few unnamed spices familiar to a completely different continent. As soon as we took our seat, we were greeted by a young waitress who was grateful for our business. We ordered coconut waters & lemon water. I looked at the menu and was completely lost yet intrigued, too. My friend opposite to me encouraged me to order a regular sized steak bowl. He and the other 2 ordered a combo bowl large with eggs, meatballs, flank, tendon, tripe and brisket! I was appalled! The soup came out in less than 10 minutes, and the bowls were GARGANTUAN! When they were set on the table I couldn't believe they prepared a dish with completely raw meat & egg! I looked to my buddy and asked...what's with the raw meat? He simply laughed and said let the broth do it's job. The broth is so hot it will cook before you even start to eat. He pointed me to the sriracha, soy sauce, fish sauce & the hoisin, letting me know to douse the soup lightly with each. I especially appreciated the hoisin, for it's sweet complimentary flavor. There were several different greens to add to the pot of tastiness, asian basil, bean sprout (No Thanks) jalapeno, & oregano. After adding a few sprigs of oregano and basil I began mixing it all with the neat little spoons provided at the table. I found it hard to use the chopsticks, as they were plastic versus wood. But oh, the invigorating magical flavor of the broth as it passed to my tongue! Tantalizing bliss! There was a buttery, rich, meaty, fragrance about it that was quickly addicting. My steak looked like it could of been top sirloin or eye of round, but it seemed to of been cut with a laser! It was julienned very delicately most likely to add a little fun to watch your own bowl cook itself before you. The taste of the steak was general, with no seasoning which is a good thing because it doesn't upset the natural balance of broth flavor. The noodle portion was unreal, impossible really for any one person to consume, even for 4.5 dollars. I found they held no real solidity to the bowl of soup, outside of being a necessary component. There happened to be some lime laying around on our vegetable dish, so I squeezed two pieces in to bring life to the rice noodles. Surprised by the welcomed zing brought on by the citrus juices, I dug in delighted by the balance of what once was an uknown blessing of God-until now. From this point on begins a love-obsession-compulsion to the elementally magical, decadent, strangely named dish, Pho.

This is my go-to place for pho, boba tea, spring rolls, ect. EVERYTHING served here is absolutely amazing, and they are open really late (4am!) What's not to love?

Pros: The soup was very hot, as it should be. (temp. not spice) Service was good and quick Restaurant was clean. Portions were large. Price is good. Cons: Tendon was too soft Soup was a little greasy Summer roll was over-stuffed with overcooked vermicelli and hardly any vegetables. Basically noodles wrapped in rice paper. I was a little disappointed considering all the great reviews- The most disappointing part was the tendon. I always order beef with tendon because the tendon adds a great chewy texture. The tendon here was so soft that the texture was more like jelly.

i live on vashon, which -- you may or may not know -- has, like, five restaurants. when i leave the island, all i want in the world is a massive bowl of pho. we ended up at pho hoa because pho than bros was closed (monday), and pho hoa was right down the road. it was packed and had all of the elements of a good pho place: live fish, fake marble tables, basic cable television. they had a pretty wide variety of rice noodle dishes. i got the seafood pho, which was a mistake in retrospect. i was frothing at the mouth -- like going grocery shopping when you're hungry. it was mostly surimi, but the broth was really good. i got a bubble tea, which is rarely actually milk tea here (even in seattle). it's more like a glorified slushy with tapioca pearls. i got the thai tea flavor and it was fucking awesome. AND SPEAKING OF: i took two banh mi sandwiches home for dinner. the hubs got the pork one and i had the chicken. it was very, very good. lastly, it was all very reasonable. we rolled out of the place after ordering a large pho, a regular pho, a fresh roll, a boba tea, and four banh mis to go for $30. that could buy... nothing on vashon.

HOT broth, that's what distinguishes this place from other pho places. The sandwich prices are on par with Seattle sandwich prices, and tasty. Hoooray! The bubble tea has plenty of tapioca balls, and the service was friendly.

Pho Hoa is my ABSOLUTE favorite place to eat pho in WA. When I first moved to WA I had no clue pho existed but after I was introduced to it I FELL IN LOVE... literally. Its my favorite meal. I have tried MANY Pho places around town...even the one across the street. HANDS DOWN Pho Hoa has the best service and pho. Another thing I love about this place is they are CLEAN. I can't stand dirty restaurants but this one is always clean. Overall they have extremely fast service, clean restaurant, great pho and nice employees. OH and try their bubble tea. I'd recommend honey dew and coconut if you like coconut. its yummy :) A+ overall ! yummmy!

This is one of the after hours spot in Tacoma (the other one is across the street). This is where you get Pho on South Tacoma Way at 2AM. It's a real pho restaurant...not a restaurant that serves pho. My friends usually get the beef pho, while I get chicken pho. Chicken or vegetarian pho is a hit or miss depending on the broth, but it hits the spot every time. The chicken sandwiches (banh mi) are freakin' delicious too. The service is good, even when dealing with inebriated customers. One time they offered to make a special red bean smoothie that they didn't have on the menu. It seems liked it's owned by a Vietnamese family--but that's could just be a perceptual observation. It still has an ambiance as an after hours spot. It's a lot more cozy than the restaurant across the street--the lights aren't so bright--which is important when I'm a drunken' mess.

I've been on a spicy beef noodle kick, which has lots of chili flakes swimming in the broth and a few slices of brisket. The noodles are white flour noodles, unlike pho. It's awesome but you have to wear a dark shirt when eating. Actually a red shirt will work also. I warn you: this dish has ingredients rookies might consider challenging: a knob of pork shank and blood cubes. Google "Vietnamese Blood cubes" and you'll see they are brown cubes of pigs' blood. The flavor is pretty mild but there's an underlying liver/iron flavor. This is a great noodle dish. I promise to post a picture next time.

NO NO NO. And this is coming from someone who knows her pho. I don't even know what they serve, but all I know is it's not pho and how it should taste.

I tend to believe I've become a "specialist" in Pho (my favorite food and I try to visit EVERY Pho place at least one in hopes of finding the nirvana location). This place didn't cut it. Service was pretty good and the hours are a plus, but the food is just not up to par. Soup is over-greasy, the meat had a lot of fat and was tough on the teeth, and the tendon was almost like water. It's okay, but definitely not as good as other locations in this Pho-dense area.
(2)
J C.
The service here is quicker than most places. I like the bubble tea varieties. The pho here is better than other places I've eaten pho. Good taste and not too salty. Good texture of meats and veggies are piled high to add into the bowls.

Best pho in 20 miles. Delicious broth. Quick and friendly service on weekdays. We found that service quality is not as good on weekends. Great bubble thai tea. Prices are perfect. The restaurant is pleasant with flat screen TVs, contemporary art and very clean. Always my first choice for pho when in the area.

As much as I love Pho, I love this place when the regular employees are there, but LOOK OUT when the two younger guys are there behind the counter (holding down the fort). If you are not careful when you order take out, they will try their hardest to mess up order, if these younger guys are there, always, always, always, and oh by the way did I say always check your order before you leave or else you will get home and be unpleasantly surprised and have to make another trip (happened to me at least 3 times with these guys). When those same two guys are working, the quality of the Pho is different from when the regular people are there, I can definitely tell the difference, because me and my family eat Pho all of the time. Don't get me wrong, the two younger guys are nice fellows, but they need more training and sometimes it seems like they are a little bit overwhelmed. As much as I like this place, I have to give it 3 stars just for these guys, with the regular employees it would be 4 stars.

I had the spicy pho. Generous portions of beef and noodle steeping in a meaty consume. It needed a few shots of hot sauce for my taste. Service was quick, friendly, and efficient. This would be a great stop after a night on the town.

It's really hard to find late night dining in Tacoma. Theres several Pho restaurants open on S Tacoma Way that are open until at least 3. I like this one the best. This is not gourmet food. The meat can be tough and fatty. They offer Tendon on the menu. Is this a good thing to eat? Not sure.

After trying out several different pho places in the tacoma area, hands down this is our favorite. The pho is great, the place is very modern and clean they have flat screens playing sports which my boyfriend loves.. the service is very quick and the hours are amazing, they are open pretty much all the time.. they accept debit which is conveniant and they have a well rounded menu.. not only do they have pho, vermicelli, vietnamese sandwich, spring rolls, friend rolls.. etc.. they also will give you extra fixings for no extra fee(cilantro, extra onions...) We go to pho weekly and no other place in the tacoma area compares!

If you're a pho-aholic like me, you know, the number one priority for an awesome bowl of Pho is the broth. Sure, some of us add hoisin and siracha to the mix, but if you don't have a good base, no amount of sauce will fix it. After living in SoCal for a year, and moving back with a Pho addiction, my boyfriend and I are always on the hunt for good Pho. We thought we had found our place at Pho 38th, but they can be inconsistent at times, and use way too much meat for my liking. However yesterday was Christmas day, and not wanting to dip into our left overs from Christmas eve just yet, we headed out to find some Pho. Our usual spot was closed, and we were going to see a movie later, so we headed over towards So. Tacoma Way. Pho Than Brothers was closed as well so we were out of our usual territory, when we stumbled across Pho Tai which was open. As we sat in the parking lot, I looked up reviews on Yelp, and found that while Pho Tai was good, Pho Hoa had the better broth. So we drove across the street, hoping for the best. The service was quick, and polite (thanks guys for working on Christmas) the only sad part was they were out of Thai Tea..damn..2nd pho place in a week. Oh well, I ordered my brisket Pho and the boyfriend go steak and brisket Pho. About 5mins later, our food was brought out and we dipped into the broth for a taste. And we were VERY pleasantly surprised! This was some of the best broth I've ever had! No one will ever beat Pho Hana in Torrance, Ca. for us, but this was good! The noodle to meat ratio was perfect for me, and they had the best cuts of meat I have ever seen at a Pho place! I literally finished my entire bowl, broth and all. Also, about 5mins after we got our food, our waiter comes back, asking if I still wanted my Thai Tea, because apparently the kitchen hadn't informed him they had it! Hell yes! Afterwards my boyfriend and I walked out with what we lovingly refer to as "pho babies" in our bellies. We can't wait to be back! Oh, and they're open late night till 4am!!

My alltime fave for my spring rolls. Probably come here atleast 4x a month. I love spring rolls! Their spring rolls is OK and the peanut sauce is OK too. I've had better somewhere I'm sure. Service is OK. When they're busy obviously sometimes they forget about your requests... But still good so I'm giving it a 4*!

This was the place I went to the most before I found House of Pho in Lakewood. For the price, this place is pretty good. Broth is good but a little greasy. Pho comes out fast but sometimes the broth is not hot enough to cook the steak meat. There were several times where I had to throw of chunks of steak because it didn't cook all the way. For the money though, this place is not that bad. $6 and some change gets you a regular size which can fill you up.

I travel the I-5 corridor every day for work, and this place has earned a spot at the top of my list. Atmosphere is unpretentious, food is cheap, service fast, place looks clean, Sportscenter is sometimes on in the middle of the day and most importantly the food is good. The spring rolls are generous, and the pho served in giant bowls. You can get out of this place satisfied for under $8. I'm not going to say this is the best pho I've ever had, but it is very good. It's a good place to eat alone. A lot of military folks eat here and a lot of asians too, both good indicators. Although it's pretty far away we'll sometimes head over there late-night because they are open late.

The broth was good. They were very skimpy with the tendon. Fried rolls were awful.

Open later.
(3)Handsome G.
I've probably been here close to 30 times. They've been relatively consistent. Food is good. Service is good. Facilities are good.
(5)Ashley B.
(3)Karin C.
(3)Amy M.
Haha ;)
(4)Nicolas M.
I love that this place is open late! Pretty tasty, especially for the some late night food. Definitely worth your time.
(4)Ian D.
Great quality broth. The wait could be a pain during busy hours but there's nothing you can do about it..
(4)Caroline L.
(3)Danica T.
(1)Minh N.
Pho is OK. Broth is a little bit bland but it's better than Seattle -China town location. Service is fast. If you're hungry in a middle of a night and no one is open except drive thru fast food, this is the place to go to. They open late hours.
(3)Teresa S.
My fiancé and I are always here. Literally the best place for hangovers, but you guys already know that.

Pho' sho!
(3)Dee K.
Good food, took a little long to get ny food, but it was well worth it. Hours are great open up until 4 am
(4)Yen E.
(3)North F.
(1)Valerie K.
(3)Christina N.
(5)Matt G.
Real good place for Authenticity. Yeah it's a hole in the wall but its all about the food!
(5)Ashley-Marie W.
They have pretty decent pho. Great prices and the staff is friendly. The HUGE plus for me are the loooong hours. I believe they are open until about 3 or 4am. I've longed for a pho place open that late in Philly.
(4)Sara B.

(2)T N.
(5)Tamalii P.

(3)Leah K.
(5)Norma A.
(4)Stephanie F.
I ordered the Bun Bo Hue and halfway eating it, I found a hair in my soup. They did replace the soup, but I noticed they took the same pig knuckle in my previous bowl and put it in the new one. Not coming back again.
(1)Vivian D.
I love Pho and love the Pho from Vietnamese's owner. This place very nice and clearn. The soup very good and com tam is amazing. I love the Coffe here also. I and 4 friend eat Pho,com tam,Coffe and pay only $30.00 I will come back
(5)Cj G.
First time having pho and let me tell u this place was great. A clean and good service restaurant. Would definitely recommend this place when u have a taste for pho.
(4)Charmaine D.
(3)Bob H.
(3)Kenneth O.
Spicy beef soup was amazing. Perfect amount of spice and meat. Services was polite and informative. They really know their menu.
(5)Blossom K.
Just bad spring rolls :(
(3)Tia B.
(4)Nicole G.
everytime I'm in tacoma this is the only pho spot I go to. They give a really good amount of all three broth, noodles, and meat. Not pricey at all and they're avocado boba iz da bomb! They're open hella late too!
(4)Michael P.
Very non personable service. Pho was not as tasty as lunch. Seems the dinner crew has a different outlook on customer service and quality of their pho.
(1)Jordan G.
This is a very good Pho place. Great portions, great cuts of meat and a great base soup. I generally get the Spicey Beef Pho bowl (I forgot the exact name). It sort of has a red tint to the soup and its absolutely delicious.
(5)Joshua G.
(4)Peretz S.
(4)Ghia W.
Washington is a cold place, so I thank Pho Hoa for serving the soup and keeping me warm specially on winter time. i love this place and you will too. try it! instagram.com/ghiawafa
(5)Alekkz H.
(5)Erica E.
(4)Stacy G.
Food was good. Called in an order that was lost. Had to wait. Floors were dirty and staff was not very friendly.
(3)Alden C.
(5)Julia C.
(4)Barb H.
(4)Su N.
(1)Mosa I.
(4)Benita K.
(5)Sandra M.
Been coming here for many years now, so happy to say I've returned after about a year and a half since I've been & it's still the same! Their pho is probably the best the noodles aren't stale or overlooked & their fried rolls is probably one of the best I've tasted. Will forever be my holy grail pho place!
(5)James P.
We was there most time after 10pm. Some times fresh, some times not fresh , the taste not same every time. But we are happy only choice late night eating.
(4)Mindy S.
(1)shani n.
Im not sure, why its listed as closed. They only close for a few hours from like 4am-8am but anywho. I love this place...lol its great for after a great night out. I always great veggie pho with a side of grilled chicken. Ive been going here for a good 6 years
(4)Elizabeth C.
My family introduced me to this place, right across from Pho Tai. It seems cleaner and the staff know how to keep up with the hustle and bustle of the place at night. Kids ate up their pho and enjoyed every bite and slurp! Thanks to the flip fam for showing me a better place for pho!
(4)Dean W.
(1)Shivesh S.
(1)Dawn V.
(4)Travis A.
Had lunch at Pho Hoa for the first time today. Must admit that its the best Pho I've had to date. Restaurant was clean and the staff was very friendly. Only bad thing was my water glass still had lipstick on it from a less than successful wash. I ordered a Coke.
(4)Vivi Z.
this place is not bad, the noodles are sometimes hard but overall this place got my tinglings on!.
(4)Nicole O.
(4)Gie R.
The Worst serving/server i've ever experienced!! Never gonna come back!!
(1)Shaun D.
(4)Wayne M.
(5)Cynthia R.
Love the pho here! My favorite by far! 4 stars is because of the service but that's expected lol. Go eat pho here!
(4)Boummy S.
Me and my boyfriend's favorite pho place in Tacoma! Love their pho broth and cheap prices. Nothing beats eating pho for under $7! Plus they're open til 4am!
(5)Samneang S.
the bon bo hue ( spicy noodle soup ) was amazing, the pork feet and blood was remove before i got it but its my new favorite!
(5)Kelly S.
Although it's a chain, this place is very consistent. Their bean sprouts are never brown, they're always fresh and the same goes for the broth. I highly recommend this restaurant as you can always except exceptional pho.
(5)Jolene D.
(4)Lars W.
I like pho. This place is pretty awesome because they are open pretty late and unlike the okace across the street (Pho Thai I think) they will check on you and keep your water glass from being empty. The beef stew here is super good. I also love their sandwiches...
(4)Ric C.
This place is outstanding. I have been here several times now and never have been disappointed. I love the fact that it is always open late (4:00AM). The food is excellent, the stock is never greasy or overpowered with MSG. The ingredients are always fresh and the staff is courteous and attentive.
(4)Ashraf R.
Favorite place for pho. The spicy beef soup is my favorite and you cant get that everywhere. Vietnamese sandwiches are cheap and delicious. Always packed but never a wait. Great service.
(5)Carey K.
My favorite go to pho restaurant! Nice, large, clean restaurant. Fast service with piping hot pho! Open to 4 am, so very convenient.
(5)Andrew G.
Love those summer rolls
(5)Megan M.
Delicious! Pho broth was on point, to go packaging done very well. Noodles & broth separate. Quick fast & friendly service.
(5)I'm B.
(4)Jessi W.
Good food but absolutely terrible customer service. I told the waiter I wasn't ready to order and he just stood there for a good few minutes until I finally decided what I wanted. Never refilled water and when taking payment pretty much refused to give change.
(3)Dalia M.
The best pho & bubble tea I've hadd! Very good prices too service is very fast I highly recommend this place!
(5)Eric H.
Hands down my favorite place to get pho. I've been to a lot of pho restaurants in Seattle down to Portland. This place is always on my mind. The broth is good, the summer rolls are good, the banh mi are good. Nothing to dislike.
(5)Ray O.
Great food!!! But when it comes to service, it sucks, they seem mad at the world, and hate everyone, never coming here again!!!!!!
(1)Little K.
(5)Rick J.
Great food. Nice staff. Not much ambience and dirty fish tanks kind of creep me out, but overall a very good place and I'd highly recommend it.
(4)Mai H.
(3)Yvette A.
(4)Julia W.
(4)Rich X.
(5)Samantha G.
In terms of Pho ONLY, this is the best pho I've had in the Tacoma/Lakewood area. For the sandwiches, they're good, but I prefer one place other for the sandwiches. This place is open 10am-4am, so awesome for late night, and it will get crackin' late at night.
(4)Skylar H.
(4)Dena P.
My family and I decided to come check this place out while on a mission for some pho. I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was clean and the food was served the way it should be served.
(4)Jason Y.
Lets keep it. Simple the pho here is great, it's prepared we'll and fast never really a wait and service is nice too. Bonus is that its open so late.
(4)Chelsea P.
(5)Lisa M.
This is my go-to place for pho, boba tea, spring rolls, ect. EVERYTHING served here is absolutely amazing, and they are open really late (4am!) What's not to love?
(5)Ethel C.
Best place ever! My fav is #34!!! If you are the adventurous kind order this! Make sure to ask for pho noodles, mild, and extra blood cubes!!! Amazing people and very friendly!!!
(5)Gregory P.

(4)Judy M.

I come here to eat Pho when I want Pho. It's always good and always the same. I appreciate the predictability of it. They consistently put out great Pho noodle soup. I come here with friends and enjoy great Pho, late night.

AWFUL! AWFUL! AWFUL! I have never not eaten the food I was served until this place. Please avoid wasting your money here and try Pho V just down the road.

Best inexpensive Vietnamese food in the area. Pho Tai, Chicken, egg roll & rice, and the pork & egg roll vermicelli are really good. Portions are great! Service is fast & friendly.
