Outstanding customer service! When my daughter accidentally dumped her yogurt on the floor the manager brought a new one over free of charge. What a completely unnecessary but amazingly kind gesture! Oh and the yogurt is delicious too!

First time here and we are loving it. Large portions, freshly made frozen yogurt and great service. Yum!

I can not say enough great things about this place! It hold special meaning to my husband and I. It was the place of our first date, where we go to celebrate anniversaries, where we got engaged and a place we call "ours". We also go because it has the BEST frozen yogurt we've found, has a fantastic atmosphere and a welcoming staff. Alisha has worked almost every time we go and gives exceptional service every single time. If she isn't greeting us, talking to us about our evening/ weekend plans or suggesting her favorite yogurt combinations then she is training someone to do the same or cleaning. My now husband and I have visited this location at least 20 times within the last 2 1/2 years despite the 30 minute commute- it's worth it every time. Alisha is always there smiling and welcoming us, the company is great and the yogurt is top notch. My suggestion: bring your next date there. Snuggle on the cozy couches in front of the glass fireplace and enjoy every second. Who knows- you might find your happily ever after and your new favorite frozen yogurt place!
(5)Lindsey P.
It's a bit expensive if you want to add toppings onto your frozen yogurt. If you don't mind spending a few extra bucks then I'd definitely give this place a shot. I love this gluten free / dairy free options and love love love the wide variety of toppings. The staff is always friendly and if you have a pup in your vehicle they even offer a mini cup of vanilla ice cream for your furbaby too!
(4)Anne B.
Froyo is the best, and the environment is super cozy. Great for doing homework!
(5)Taniesha E.
I love this Black Bear Yogurt location. It has a walk-in if you want to sit and enjoy your purchase and drive-up for those on the go. They do not weigh their frozen yogurt, they just go by whatever fits. That included toppings. Their coffee is amazing. And everything is at reasonable price. Plus they are open late!
(5)Stephanie S.
Came here while visiting my bff who moved out west. About an hour after I arrived at her house she said, "Ooooh, we need to go to Black Bear while you're here." Because I generally love all food, I said sure. In the three days I was there, we went here twice. The Irish mint was my flavor of choice, and it is legit some of the best-tasting fro-yo I've had. Too many times it has a weird aftertaste or you get that it's supposed to taste like something, and it generally does, but the whole time you're wishing you just went to the grocery across the street and got yoself some Ben & Jerry's. This wasn't the case here. They have punch cards, and I guarantee I'd come here way more than was necessary if I lived nearby. They also do coffee drinks, which I think is brilliant because why just have coffee when you can have coffee mixed with fro-yo? There's a pretty boss sitting area which reminds me of Caribou Coffee. Even though it was summer, I enjoyed sitting by the fireplace.

Finally! :-) Ice cream......no even better! Frozen yogurt made so delicious it can't be fat free too! Seriously?!! This place is worth all the hype that I've heard. I stepped into an impressive location, spacious and designed so comfy yet modern. Service was all welcomes and smiles, I even mentioned my girl who posted an fb status about how Bomb, this place is and he remembered her! Needless to say we went ahead and selected our flavor after testing a couple and I got the new York cheesecake, with strawberries and graham crackers~ Heaven! Did I mention that the frozen yogurt was lactose free, soy based and contained probiotics...... Definitely going to be the new spot to visit! Wooo hoooooo Black Bear Yogurt! 5 stars......
(5)Chantelle E.
Man I wish I lived a little closer, I would be here every day in the summer! This place is adorable, great decor and ambiance, they stuck with the theme, but didnt go overboard! The girls are friendly as well. We cam in for the yogurt, and it was divine! Not as many flavors as some other shops, but way better quality! You would never know it was yogurt, and fat free, who knew!!?? Its creamy and lovely, YUM! The toppings they do for you, but its all a fixed price as well. And they seriously stack it up for you... perfect little place to go to over indulge!
(5)Jas P.
I have no doubt that it is The best frozen yogurt!!!!!!!!
(5)Mikal W.
Let me preface that I am not one of these people who get a priapism over frozen yogurt or trendy places. My 3 star is a pretty solid A-OK rating. The wife, son and I came here mostly due to all the hype surrounded by fellow friends. Of course my 18 month old loves this kind of stuff! I will say the staff is on top of things, before we even have both feet in the door they asked us what we wanted.... trigger happy? We tried a couple samples but ultimately went with chocolate. Their egg EggNog flavor was not good, it had too much of a syrupy flavor. The sizes are pretty big, and the prices are decent, toppings do get expensive after awhile. To me the fruity pebbles were great! I also had peanut butter chips, I was greatly disappointed by them. No taste of peanut butter whatsoever, they tasted like stale sugar clumps. The frozen yogurt itself was good, the fruity pebbles took it to the max. I also got to listen to 2 girls at the table next to us talking about the different farts they had or had smelled that week, so snack and a free show? To me I would just the same go to coldstone for their frozen yogurt and topping selection. However, this place has a great lodge type of atmosphere, very cozy. I am more likely to come here for some coffee and chill. Overall I am sure you wont be disappointed, but hype did play a factor in this place.
(3)Lea F.
I love this place! A local business with fantastic customer service and great frozen yogurt. Yes please! Prices are great, especially if you have a buy one yogurt get one free or some bear bucks laying around. They have great coffee too!
(5)Mynh N.
very great yogurt with tasty toppings. staffs are very nice. my 1st time here was last night, 5 minutes before they closed, but they were still very nice to me. keep up! their store seems more like a coffee shop, nice and cozy, good decorations, should be great for a group of friends to hang out after school or work. prices are ok. I definitely will come back.
(5)Kelly O.
Great new place for delicious frozen yogurt & espresso!! Very quaint & comfortable interior (complete with fireplace!) convenient drive-thru, friendly staff and yummy food! My favorite was the tart yogurt with raspberry topping, my husband had French vanilla with a variety of nuts & our daughter had vanilla with candy toppings! Everyone was pleased with their choices and we got tea & chai to warm up before we left! My only suggestion was to add more fresh fruit choices which sounds like it's in the works. I'll definitely be back to redeem my "Bear Bucks!". Check it out - you'll be Beary glad you did! :)

There are positives and negatives about Black Bear. It is a beautiful location and every time I have been there it has been incredibly clean. It is nice that it stays open so late and even though you have to drive all the way around the strip mall, it is nice that there is a drive through. No matter what time of the day I was there the service was on the slow side. They only have four flavors at any given time and I've never really been impressed by any of them, so I always go with the vanilla and chocolate swirl. The staff is without fail very nice. I feel bad that they have to stand out by the road waving signs, though. The price is not-too-complainable if you are getting a plain yogurt, but once you start adding toppings it gets a bit more pricey. For as health conscious as they claim it is, the yogurt is it is very rich and creamy. I usually end up spending between six and seven dollars, including tip. I wish there was more consistency with fruit toppings...sometimes when I go they have strawberries and sometimes they don't. It seems like they always have the less popular berries. I once went without an idea of what I wanted and just asked the girl behind the counter to make something that would be good. She made an excellent concoction that includes shaved almonds and toffee syrup. I guess the teddy bear in every order should be a cute little gimmick, but it fails to impress me. I have friends that swear by this place, but I don't like it (or the price) enough to go out of my way to visit.
(2)Judy M.
All the indulgent taste, sans the guilty calories. I love black bear! They have great, friendly, staff, and good frozen yogurt. I'm a true fro yo girl, so I like my fro yo more on the tart, icy side. If I'm not in an adventurous mood, I can always fall back on the Euro-tart. Euro-tart is one of their staple flavors. Having said that, if you're looking more for faux ice cream, this is your place! They have a variety of rotating, creamy, rich, flavors.
(4)James R.
The owner, Jesse, take a LOT of pride in his coffee and aesthetic. It's actually a great place for an espresso as well as fantastic frozen yogurt. They rotate flavors and I've tried two of them, both great. Though, the Red Velvet really blew me away.
(5)Blair H.
The yogurt itself was good, but I'd like more fresh topping options like kiwis, mangos, etc etc. It was limited to shmooshy raspberries and strawberries.
(4)P B.
Great selection of very tasty yogurt, toppings are fresh (not stale like many other places). Also worth the stop for coffee drinks (very good mochas). open area for meeting friends, etc. Nice fireplace
(5)Grindy S.
I never get the fro-yo here, just a cup of coffee or a latte. Both are acceptable.
(3)jason c.
I love ice cream. I love yogurt. I love sweets. this place has a nice touch. they top your yogurt with a black chocolate bear that's where they get there name. there yogurt is a little icy. small ice crystals in them, I don't think there ment to be there though. has good flavor but a little pricy. like the place, it's a good hang-out.
(3)Linell J.
I'm so very disappointed lately. First, I've been going to BB since it opened and have always loved it. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable and not nearly as noisy as Starbucks. They have Almond flavor for the espresso and I love it BUT service has always tendend to be slow, especially going through the drive through and the yogurt is a bit pricey. I like mine without toppings and even getting a small it's more than most other places. My disappointment and the reason for the exceptionally low score has been a VERY noticable drop in service. Three times in the last 6 weeks I have actually driven off after waiting at the window and being totally ignored. The final straw was a a couple mornings ago, There was no customers in the store, the drive through window was open but after sitting there for a couple minutes and clearly hearing that someone was very near the window (not in the bathroom or out in the store cleaning etc) I yelled out THREE TIMES "HELLO". Nothing. As I drove off I saw the crew member with her back to the window, right next to the window. I give up. The Black Star espresso drive through a block away has my almond flavoring, is inexpensive and very very fast service. I'll be going there from now on. I think Black Bear has shot themselves in the foot by trying to expand too rapidly and has neglected what use to make them so attractive.
(2)Dan L.
I love this place. Always new flavors of yogurt, lots of toppings. Fantastic drinks.
(5)Sarah H.
We love that they always have new and exciting flavors to choose from! Our favorite so far is the Irish Mint. OMG! Add on top of that most of them are lactose/gluten/fat free and you're in heaven.
(5)Courtney G.
I love, love, LOVE frozen yogurt! I checked out this place about two months ago and have gone about 10 times since. It's about 25 minutes away from me, but I can't resist! The whole family loves it as well. GREAT atmosphere, awesome staff and WARM fire to lounge by! I love the euro tart! Flavors change on a daily basis. Bring a game to play by the fire when you go!
(5)Michael B.
My wife and I were so glad to find this cozy welcoming Frozen Yogurt shop, as we are from Yuma, Az and spend the summers in Washington. The staff is super nice and friendly. The facility is very clean as are the rest rooms. The price is right too. They aren't as stingy with the add ons as the expensive ice cream place is. Although not self help like the Big Swirl or Tiki Hut near our home in Yuma, they are very generous with there serving sizes. This has become a favorite spot for us while visiting the NW.
(5)Abby K.
I have never once been dissatisfied by my experience at black bear. I graduated from the high school down the street a few months ago and during the spring my friends and I would stop in here after school sometimes to get some DELICIOUS froyo and sit around and chat! We love the nice couches or love seat areas so we are very relaxed and don't feel rushed to leave. It's a great place to meet up with someone to chat, eat a sweet snack, or get a quick drink to go! Thanks black bear!!
(5)Tayta S.
Let me just start off by saying that I come from a part of California where self-serve frozen yogurt shops are abundant. You choose your size, the amount of yogurt, your toppings and they charge you by weight. Black Bear Yogurt does not have this setup. You choose a size, they shove a year supply of frozen yogurt in a cup for you (if you get the large) and a sprinkle of topping(s) compared to the amount of yogurt. My eyes widened when I realized their large could feed 5 people. Blueberries were their only fresh fruit and the prices were crazy. Two larges and a small came out to 16 dollars and some change. I thought the vanilla yogurt was tasty; however, it was difficult for me to digest. I tasted that yogurt for almost 2 days in my throat and my stomach had this nasty full filling and believe me I had a very small amount so I will not be coming here again but if you decide to try them out, I urge you to get a small and if you feel they're overdoing it, speak up. One interesting topping that I didn't try was strawberry mochi, that's about as much excitement I got out of the place apart from the ambiance the place carries.

So let me preface this review isn't so much for the froyo but more so for the establishment itself, customer service, and coffee. This place is a hidden goldmine for any student looking for a good place to study and have a coffee. I find that a lot of my other favorite places for doing this tend to be too full or closes early. This place closes at 10 on the weekdays and 11 on friday & saturday. There is plenty of seating with a nice fireplace in the middle. On my last visit I wanted coffee....but I also kind of wanted froyo...well the manager or possibly LITERALLY popped out of no where and suggested a "Yo-Gato." A Yo-Gato is frozen yogurt with espresso shots. This is an AMAZING COMBINATION of sweet fro-yo and strong espresso. But not only did the guy suggest I order this he said it was on him! How nice was that? In terms of froyo people might be disappointed in the place for lacking tart flavors and fresh fruit toppings. BUT the coffee Yogato is a must!
(5)Cheryl Q.
mmmm yummy! I can honestly say that I thought the frozen yogurt here was oh so yummy! But it was pretty high priced. I happened to have a Groupon coupon when I went so I was lucky to get 2 for $5, but otherwise I would be paying about $10 for 2. The atmosphere is very nice. There are cozy couches and a nice fireplace and the layout is very large. I would say this would make a great place to take a date for a quiet talk over their delcious froyo or a good cup of coffee.
(4)Annaliese O.
O Black Bear how I love you from your dirty chai's to your red bears with peach and raspberry syrup.
(5)Ashley G.
The yogurt was decent. The staff was super friendly. It can get pricey especially with adding toppings. I like the yogurt places that you can serve yourself better.
(3)Ben S.
Black Bear is great. They have quality frozen yogurt flavors that rotate on a pretty frequent basis. They also have lots of toppings to choose from and are very generous when mixing them in. The portion sizes are also generous...a small at Black Bear is a medium pretty much anywhere else. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is warm and cozy. Prices are a bit high, but like I said you get more than at other frozen yogurt shops. Make sure to ask about their secret loyalty program - it's not advertised, but they offer a free frozen yogurt after purchasing ten. Also be sure to grab some bear bucks, redeemable on weekdays and weeknights for a few dollars off your bill.
(5)Jeremy M.
No gummy bears tonight! Flavors were meh. Girl was not generous with portion size. Good 2 for 1 coupon, but not worth it otherwise.
(3)Bobo J.
I have been meaning to try this cafe and finally made it. It was worth the wait! Ambiance: The atmosphere was quiet but upbeat and the staff super-friendly and nice. People working here seemed collegiate and relaxed. The bathroom was disgusting...men, don't pee everywhere and leave the toilet seat up, too. Touching urine ruins my appetite. Food and drink: There was a wide range of coffee, but I got the frozen yogurt. There are six rotating flavors, and they will give you samples. Pay by size, the cheapest is $3.39 and toppings start at 63 cents. Small is generous, enough to share! The staff piled on yogurt (cheesecake flavor), added my chosen topping (Heath bar), then added more yogurt and more Heath bar plus a cute teddy graham cookie. Cute allusion to the name of the place. There's a range of toppings, including three kinds of mochi, but I am not going to pay for each one. A set price for unlimited or a range of toppings would be a good option. Overall, black bear was a hit!
(4)Liliane E.
Good frozen yogurt isn't an easy feat. Black Bear is the grand poobah of frozen yogurt in my book. No one else does it like they do, and they do it well. How can you go wrong with maple bacon doughnut flavor? You can't. Add an amazing assortment of toppings to the pedigree, and you've got a winner! Check out their facebook page for their daily flavors, which are sure not to disappoint. There's something for everyone here. And with a fireplace to sit by in the winter, who could ask for more.
(5)Corinne M.
This place is awesome - Right now their coffee's are just $2 each, for any size, I can handle that! The serving sizes on the yogurt are big. It's so creamy, and not too sweet, that is really hard to find with frozen yogurt in this area, and in my opinion, they've nailed it. I have two complaints though - 1. On really hot days, they have only one person to take and fill the orders in drive-thru. If there was one person to take the order and the money, and one person to fill the order, things would run more smoothly I think. I also don't like the thought that someone is making my drink or yogurt after touching my money... 2. The first yogurt to come out after a while of not using it is REALLY runny and soft, so when you go through the drive-thru, you risk it dripping everywhere! Very messy! They really need to run a little off when they first poor some, especially if it's not been used in a while... Other than that, I am really impressed!
(4)Tiffany L.
I love the atmosphere here. The yogurt was delicious too! I had peach and I think chocolate mint. Good customer service as well.
(5)Robert V.
This place to me is the best to get some good Yogurt!! they have a lot of different flavors and most are very good! the flavors change each week so you can get different ones!! :)
(5)Little Miss S.
This is my favorite place to hang out with my daughter. The fireplace area is super special in the winter days and the staff is always friendly and super patient with my 5 year olds excessive energy. The bear decor is charming and it's clean. My favorite combo is tart yogurt with rainbow sprinkles....try it...so delicious!
(5)Kris C.
Happened to find this place while out with the family. One thing I want everyone to know is that it's not a pay by the weight. I was a little bummed about that because the kids love picking whatever toppings they want. We will usually pay $15 at the pay-by-weight yogurt shops with all the toppings we want. At Black Bear we paid $20 for two toppings on 4 different yogurts. So it's a little more than what we were used to. The yogurt was good though and the place was nice. I would highly recommend this place for a date night with the wife or that special someone. It has a nice fireplace in the center and there's some comfortable couches and chairs. They have good coffee and yogurt so it would be a cool place to go after dinner. The servers did say that Black Bear was going to move to the pay-by-weight in near future and the two new stores that are opening up will be pay-by-weight. Overall, this is a nice place. Service was good and it was clean.
(3)LisaLisa F.
Yes, the frozen yogurt is so good until you read how much sugar is in the product. The Eurotart (my favorite) I just discovered has as much sugar as a grande egg nog latte from starbucks. 1 1/2 cup of Eurotart has 45 grams of sugar...very disappointing to find out. I won't be going back...it feels like dishonest advertising. Typical health recommendation is to eat no more than 20 grams of sugar a day...I have been doing that all in one sitting and I am not happy about it. They need to take some advice and make the calories, fat, sugar, etc available for customer review. I actually had to hunt it down on YoCream's website...I do not like to believe I am eating a healthy treat when actually I am not.
(3)E C.
Wow@! Went there again yesterday during Happy Hour and got two small yogurts, which BTW were delicious, for about $5.50 FOR BOTH! And they were not really small but just the right size. And did I say they were delicious.
(5)Kayla P.
they always offer my puppy a puppy sample, so cute! and all the staff is so friendly. The flavors are always sooooo good I haven't tried anything I didn't love. Love this place!
(5)Amanda S.
GREAT yogurt, but it's kind of hard to mess up a frozen yogurt joint, so I'll touch on the important stuff. First, quick tip, go to groupon.com (or visit on your phone) and use the "now" deal to try this place! two medium yogurts for $5! Or, keep an eye out for a coupon in the monthly coupon mailer. THEN, CROSS YOUR FINGERS that the owner isn't working (sorry if you're reading this!) because he skimps on the yogurt, I heard him direct an employee that he had given too much to the customer. He explained that there should be space between the yogurt and the container (really?) lol Everyone else there is GENEROUS with portions, including toppings! The "toppings" are actually tucked inside now, and it makes for a much neater experience (great idea!). The place is clean. The workers are friendly, and neat. Only tried the coffee once (meh) and that was enough. Feel free to bring your kids in, lounge on the couch by the fire. It's a great place to enjoy with family! I've been here at least 40 times!
(4)Mimi M.
I love this place. I stop here frequently for coffee. I love their sugar free white mochas. Their yogurt is amazing too. They are always so friendly, and remember my order! They give out coupons and also have happy hour, 2.99 for espresso drinks. I wish they would open one up in the Tacoma mall so I could get my coffee and yogurt fix while I'm at work. Always more than happy to give you samples, and plenty of fun toppings for kids and adults!
(5)Amanda M.
Great addition to the Lakewood sweets scene! The frozen yogurt here is almost guilt-free... well, depending on what toppings you pick. :) They have a rotating selection of 3-4 flavors, of which so far I've only had the opportunity to try the Hershey's Kiss chocolate. It was pretty delicious, and fat-free. Can't wait to come back and try more. I wish they posted a flavor schedule on their website. The decor is cozy with a little fireplace and even some sofa seating. There aren't a whole lot of tables, though. Got a car full of wet kids and dogs after a trip to nearby Fort Steilacoom dog park? You can also get espresso and fro-yo straight from the drive-through window.
(4)Jason C.
Tasty with a pleasant environment. Better than the typical roll-yer-own-yogurt place.
(4)Justina P.
I have visited both Black Bear locations enough that I think its about time I write a review. I LOVE them. The flavors are always delicious(cake batter is my favorite) and the staff is so friendly. Sure its a tad bit pricey but its about the same price as going to Coldstone and I would take some fro-yo over ice cream any day. The portions are more then generous and the selection of toppings is great! If you are a fro-yo junkie like me, then this is the place for you!
(5)Andrea B.
Came here for the Groupon deal. So yummy! Staff was great too. Didn't know you could do half/half, so glad to know that now! Pom-Raspberry & Chocolate has to be the perfect pair. Delicious!!!
(5)Jutta L.
Super yummy and without fat. Plus a big choice of toppings. Couldn't ask for more.
(5)Malina H.
This place reminds me of a cozy restaurant taut you would find in the national parks during winter time. The decor is cute and fits with their theme black bear. It's a little pricey but definitely worth your money. They give you a lot as you can tell from other reviewers pictures. Unfortunately I got my large caramel cheesecake to go so there is a lid on it which does not allow you to see how much you actually get when it does not have a lid on. The actual ice cream itself was delicious, the right amount of sweet, creamy, and the caramel is not overpowering. I only got the yogurt with no toppings. I believe the 1st topping is an additional .59 cents which I felt would ruin the taste of the yogurt so no toppings for me and that worked out perfectly. My husband got the Eurotart which seriously no joke tastes just like the Vietnamese yogurt (da us which can be made sour or sweet for this particular yogurt it was sour but the right amount) which he loves so we both got a large which is quiet huge. He finished his while I was only able to eat half so other half is in the freezer. You can also ask for samples before purchase which is what my husband and I did. Definitely a place everyone should go to at least once if you are near one.
(5)Tornadoroo K.
The coffee and the yogurt here are my favs for the NW. I admit to being a KC coffee snob so if your familiar with Roasterie coffee you know. Black bear is my fav NW coffee. The roasting really allows the flavor to come through. Decaf finishes with a warm Salted Carmel and the Signature roast has a nice Strawberry finish. For those who like Organic it think chocolate, tobacco and bourbon finish. I buy by the bag and have it ground. The yogurt flavors vary, with a chocolate and vanilla always available. Hot fudge if you like or try one of many, many toppings. They also carry breakfast and lunch items, think panini. Nice warm atmosphere and great service. 4 Stars only due to the limited coffee selection (beans not drinks). Drive up is odd, but very user friendly, order at the window.
(4)Alaina W.
$11 for a small froyo w 2 toppings and a lg w 2 toppings. The starburst sherbet is the best I've ever had! A bit expensive if u like toppings but a great chill place otherwise
(4)Ghia W.
Wow my first time and it was yummylicious!!! Tried Red Velvet with M's on top of it.. It was delicious not too sweet for me. I got the smallest size and I was surprised that they put a lot of yogurt in it. I could not even finish all of it. I think the smallest size is just perfect! For $5. They do not weigh your cup btw. But if you need to add toppings there is a charge for it, the third topping is free though.
(5)Lynnmarie B.
Love Black Bear Yogurt! The highlight of my German Shepherd Dog's post walk routine is getting a puppy sample from the drive through.
(5)Leah J.
Different than I thought but still awesome! I love the fireplace. The caprese sandwich was yummy, even my toddler loved it. The yogurt was good (we had chocolate with Reese's cups mixed in) but I was expecting the normal froyo place where you pick your own toppings and pay by the ounce. This place is more like the classic yogurt places and each topping costs extra but they add a lot, some in the middle, some on top. They do have decent prices if you get a coupon or special, but I gave them 4 stars because the topping selection is small and the price for toppings is high.
(4)MandM S.
Love Black Bear and the atmosphere is extremely welcoming and inviting. They also offer discount for military. We love going here and would recommend to anyone.
(5)Clint N.
Great and comfortable place for meeting with people. Reliably good coffee. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming. Great place to study. (I use earplugs wherever I go to study) The bonus of having protein shakes, sandwiches, wraps and frozen yogurt available. They have a two sided fireplace. I have noticed a few of the comfy leather chairs are worn out by the fireplace. (Bottom seat cushion is shot on at least four of them.) But there are plenty of other chairs to choose from.
(5)Shena M.
I am rating this a "5", more based on small business success and class than the froyo. Cute atmosphere and friendly/fast service. I also love that they have a drive-thru! It is really nice that it is open late and I plan to come here the next time I have a deadline and need a place to work. As for the froyo, it was also very good. We ordered a chocolate coconut and the pom-raspberry sorbet-both EXCELLENT! Just wish they had more flavor options. The best part about Black Bear Yogurt though is that one is opening off 72nd and I-5 in Tacoma soon, yeah for small business success!
(5)Brooke L.
I come from California and Arizona where there are yogurt places on every corner. If I had lived in Tacoma forever, I would probably like this place too. However, after tasting some of the best, this place just doesn't stack up. Their yogurt just isn't great and the fixins were just OK. However, I know it is all relative and when it is all you can get, it will work.
(3)Ann L.
Amazing frozen yogurt! I sampled the tart which was really good, but I went with the Reese's Peanut Butter flavor because it was the first time I had pb fro-yo that wasn't particularly heavy. This is the only frozen yogurt place I've been to that a) puts more fro-yo on top of the toppings and b) can put espresso shots on top of your fro-yo if you request. 15% military discount.
(4)Mark C.
I have gone here for years, before there were Yogurt shops on about ever corner. The Yogurt is Yogurt and the fixings or like any other. But the sit down area is nice. There is always a fire in the glass fire place. Plenty of seating and sofas. The staff is always friendly and even thought I am not a Yogurt fan, I find my self going there when I want to hang out with family or friends and have cold treat with my coffee.
