I thought this place was pretty decent. Not a big fan of pizza myself, but everyone in my party really enjoyed it. The price is reasonable for the area and they even give a midday discount, which I think is only for weekdays but still awesome. The breadsticks were tasty, but it's not really a breadstick. They do one of those slabs of bread they cut into pieces and I didn't mind, but still not a breadstick FYI. The pizza came out pretty quickly. But I must say the reason for the one star deduction was how long it took us from the time we sat down (the host had us seat ourselves) to the time we were brought menus and water, was longer than my hungry husband appreciated, about ten minutes. Yikes. They weren't busy at all so for service issues like these, I don't think you will have a great experience if you come here when it's busy. All in all, a good almost great experience. More like 3.5 than 4 stars.

I use to make pizzas for a living, so I know it's really hard to screw up a Canadian bacon and pineapple with half sausage. I've never tried Zeeks Pizza, that is, until tonight and I am very disappointed with the pie they gave us. It was just poor in flavor, mostly hard bread, with over cooked cheese on top. I paid $26 for this large pizza; I feel like I paid for a puffy cooked pizza base with cheese and maybe a few hints of sausage and Hawaiian toppings. Papa johns would have been cheaper and better tasting. Overall I don't see what all the hype is about when it comes to Zeeks. Like if I want horrible pizza I can just buy it frozen and pay under half price. The customer service was fantastic though. They gave me a $30 credit for the bad pizza; no hassle, which I am very happy about. Hopefully next time they'll actually be worth eating. Crossing my fingers.

Wish there was the ability to leave no stars! Service was horrible, long wait when they told us 10 minutes. 40 minutes later we sat and waited for the waitress for another 10 minutes, where two out of our seven plates were dirty. Then another 35 minute wait for truly sub-par pizza. I thought they forgot the meat on our pizza, but my husband found two pieces of sausage, so I guess that is the standard. How they have stayed in business is beyond me; I will not be returning!

Wood butcher is a great pizza!!!

Service was terrible. We walked in and they said there was a 10 to 15 minute wait and I had 2 hungry kids, 2 groups of people walked in after us and were seated right away. The girl at the front desk didn't even look up when I was trying to get her attention. There were open tables everywhere. We ate here anyway and they comped us drinks for the hassle. The pizza was good, but not enough to make up for the lousy service.

Service the last 12 months has continued to degrade and if you ask for thin crust they act like you are asking for a miracle. We are going to start going to the Redmond Zeek's instead! Another update November 2014. I ordered take home and it was horrible. The crust was super thick and hard to actually bite through. I don't know what is happening, but my once favorite pizza place is taking a fast nose dive.

Anything with goat cheese and sun dried tomatoes can please my palate! The location is great, and sharing a pizza, outside, on a sunny summer Saturday is a great way to enjoy an afternoon. I love the veggie pizza choices here!

A good Pizza chain in the Seattle area. Service is average to below average at times but the pizza is usually good to very good.

Ordered Zeeks pizza for delivery online this evening. The website was convenient and easy to use. Online it said 45 minutes, but it was a hair shorter than that, which was very nice. They called from the store prior to delivery to ask if we wanted any crushed red pepper or Parmesan with our order. While that was greatly appreciated, we got neither of them when the delivery came. Made no sense to bother calling to carelessly forget to pack them with the pizza. The pizza, Quentin florentino, was delicious! Only thing I would take away is the spinach, but thats definitely not a mark on the food. I will definitely eat Zeeks again.

Used to be really good but the crust has been super chewy the last few times. Our company gives Zeeks a LOT of business but last night we found moldy onion slices on our Yeti. Fine enough to pick them off but it was such a turn off no one else ate the rest and there was a bunch left. Makes you wonder if the other ingredients are up to code. We basically threw 2pizzas away because no one wanted them. Literally NO ONE ate the crust either it was so chewy and burnt on the bottom...it was actually hilarious the garbage was just full of people's crust. Reminded me of that Seinfeld episode with the muffins. Overall very unimpressed and disappointed because I used to loved this place.

I went to Zeeks a couple of times. They have really good thin crust pizzas. This location has sucky parking (since it is in a downtown-ish area. It was a complete zoo on a Friday night I was picking up an order to go. So, it took a little effort to park. However, the service was great, and they had my food ready and hot when I went in to get it. The pizza was well made, with quality ingredients. However, for how much you pay for this premium pizza, I would gather just go to Pagliacci. Their pizza is just way better and I have never had a negative experience with them either. Since Pagliacci is right down the street, I probably wouldn't go back to Zeek's again.

I LOVE THIS PLACE! So yummy! I used to work there and the pizza is so good! Definitely my favorite go to pizza places around.

Gluten free crust is terrible and way too expensive. It was chewy, hard, too thin. This after you are forced to buy a medium and pay extra for crust. I was annoyed. They were very stingy with goat cheese and other toppings. Service was okay, but we were there when it was slow. I didn't care for the interior - black tables, weird posters on the wall, overall very dark. Would not go back. Frozen pizza is better.

I have had pizza here a few times and unfortunately bis not very consistent. There is a tremendous amount of bread on the pizza that is not covered up my toppings and sauce and the flavor is just not all there. I have had quite a few of the pizzas so I feel I have given this establishment a fair enough amount of tries. They are also not the cheapest place for how their pizza tastes. I am much more of a Napoleon style pizza lover myself. Would I eat this pizza again if it was given to me? Yes. But would I actively go out and buy it myself over another pizzeria? No.

Pepperoni pizza was very good! A simple yet classic pizza done well, but nothing extraordinary. Would recommend for take out or dine in if you are looking for a simple pizza place that's a step up from the national chains. Also be sure to look out for coupons.

For years our family has enjoyed eating at Zeeks... Love the pizza, family friendly atmosphere, and outdoor seating. Recently we stopped on a warm summer night looking forward to enjoying the recently renovated Park Lane in downtown Kirkland. With a party of four (two kids, two adults) we asked to be seated outside but were denied because of a new policy of only two people per table. No problem, us parents will sit at one table and our kids would sit at the adjoining table...our kids (12/10) were happy about this. "No, I'm sorry sir only one 'top' per table. You and your family can only sit inside". Born and raised in Kirkland, there is nothing I crave more than being able to enjoy eating outside, with other families, on a warm summer night. Why all of a sudden is Zeeks focused on an image of 'couples only' tables and not families eating outside? Is the hip, upscale, urban image more important than a small town family persona? To top it off, only one of eight outside tables had customers. Instead of spending $80+ we told them we would take our business elsewhere. We looked across the lane and both Cactus and Mi Mexico had parties of four or more outside seating. The ironic part was they were both very busy. During our entire time enjoying our Mexican food we watched as Zeeks outdoor tables stayed empty. I'm sorry Zeeks, the family centered pizza joint I thought would fill my childhood void of Shakeys, Pietros, will no longer be you.

Food is great. We ordered chicken club pizza. Probably the best I had for a long while. Service on the other hand is not so good. Takes 15 mins just to get water. Then a long wait to get anything. During which time no one came and tell us what happened. Refill of water takes FOREVER. We ended up getting water ourselves at water fountain :-(

I've eaten at Zeeks in Bothell, Redmond, and Downtown Seattle many times, and always loved it. I was in downtown Kirkland today doing some last minute Christmas shopping, and was pleasantly surprised to find a Zeeks to satisfy my lunchtime hunger pangs. Sadly, the experience was poor. Upon being seated, I was handed a lunch special menu, which listed 10 inch small 3 ingredient pizzas. Perfect. After far too long, the waitress came to my table and asked if I wanted a drink. I informed her I was ready to order my food, and asked for a soft drink and one of the small lunch specials. She apologized and informed me that they were out of the dough for the small pizzas and could only make medium and large pizzas. Hmm.. OK. So I ordered a medium 3 topping with pineapple, Canadian bacon, and jalapeños. No lunch special was offered for this. After 45 minutes, I hadn't seen the waitress, and didn't even have my drink. I walked across the room and asked to have my drink brought to the table. She apologized and scurried off. 10 minutes later, literally an hour after ordering, she came to the table with my drink and the pizza. Sadly, they got two of the three ingredients wrong. Instead of pineapple, Canadian bacon and jalapeños, I got pineapple, pepperoni, and bell peppers. The server apologized and asked if I wanted to send it back I told her I didn't have time. She offered to bring some sliced jalapeños to me, which I accepted. The two to servers who waited on me were polite and apologetic. I'm assuming they were understaffed because of the holiday, but an hour is too long to wait. Strike One. Offering me a lunch special that they couldn't actually produce, and then not offering any alternative was strike two. Waiting an hour to get the wrong toppings on my pizza was Strike Three. This review probably would have been 1 star had the wait staff not been apologetic and polite about the ordeal.

We have been to Zeek's several times before for lunch and dinner. Their pizza has always been decent, though not stellar. Tonight, however, service was slow, pizza was burnt, and the place was overrun by screaming kids. Three kids stood by the window overlooking the kitchen and screamed, stomped, and slapped the window incessantly for over 15 minutes, which was highly annoying. We had to complain to the waitress twice before anything was done about the disturbance, by which time we finally got our pizzas, the crusts more than a little charred. Not impressed. Not desperate enough for local pizza to return any time soon.

Ordered online a Gluten Free John Candy medium sized pizza arrived on time and delivery driver super friendly . However the pizza base was over cooked so much so that it squeaked when you bit into it, and so hard you could break your teeth on it . The topping was very greasy too . Sorry will have to give this one a miss also very expensive for what it is .

Been going to Zeeks for years now! Great pizza. We always get the Dragon, it being spicy and having fresh garlic added is so perfect. Quality ingredients as well. I have a lot of experience with pizza so I'm not easy to please, but this is awesome pizza. Good service too!! I have been to this location a couple times now and the parking is lame, only reason I didn't give that 5th star. If you're going on a Friday or Saturday night especially, good luck.

I just held a work event here for about 30 people. After sitting in meetings all week and eating hotel buffet food, this was a welcome change, and the only local option I could find that could accomodate our group without insisting we do yet another buffet. The people I dealt with over the phone each time were really helpful and polite. I called to reserve, then called later to set up details. I pre-ordered party-size salads and a few pizzas, then we ordered more as desired. I am actually not a pizza fan, but I really liked this was really good. The Cherry Bomber was good -- I love sausage pizza - but my favorite was a surprise - the Grand Salami. We were there for a while and a pretty demanding group (lots of beers!) but our waitress kept up pretty well. The only thing I'd say is that we lacked enough plates and silverware a few times. All in all really thrilled with how everything was handled and the food quality.

This is a good pizza place! I really like what they've got on their menus. Good stuff. I just wish there was either 1) a bar area for adults or 2) a play area for kids. I was at dinner with some friends when children kept running by our table screaming. Again, the food was great! But I want to enjoy my dinner and not feel like I'm eating at a play place.

Pizza was ok but it took them total 50 minutes to bring out a pizza and a salad after we sit down.

The best Thai pizza I have ever had! It is a must try. A great family atmosphere, fast service. Excellent salads too. I will be stopping by Zeek's the next time I'm in town.

I recently had Zeeks pizza delivered for the first (and last) time (Kirkland, WA location). We ordered a chopped salad and pizza. After a few bites of salad I had a bite that was MOLDY. So gross!!! The pizza barely had any sauce or cheese and none at all on the first two inches near the edges. The crust was doughy and raw. Seriously the nastiest pizza I have ever had. It went straight into the trash.

Been to Zeeks many times. Pizza and beer, what's not to like about that? Great spot for the family. Can get a bit crazy on weekend nights with lots of kids just roaming free. Don't know if I'd want to go there if I wasn't with kids. Delivery is good too. No drop off in quality and speed is good. Making a pizza and delivering it to the front door in 30 minutes is pretty efficient on a Friday night if you ask me.

I've heard nothing but good things for Zeeks. I finally got around to trying it and it has held up to its praise! The dough is amazing and all their ingredients taste super fresh. They have so many different combinations, I can't wait to try them! The staff was friendly and offered suggestions of what they liked best too. Seems like a great place to bring the family!

  • Jennifer W.

Wow, these pizzas are fantastic! 5 stars for food! The salads are good too. It's a casual place with prices as high as it can be for the average wait staff service. Your paying top $ for the food. I also love how I can get the hurricane but supplement onions for pepperoni. I see others complain about the wait staff. Just know, you will have teenagers who are not high end restaurant staff. This is a casual family place. So the staff is not why you come here. The pizza is. So I will knock off 2 stars for the terrible service. The timing is off. Although the pizza is SO good you get over the young staff short comings quickly. Just don't tip well (if at all) if they are not doing well. If the managers/owners care that the wait staff is hard to maintain because they can't earn tips, then hopefully they will begin training better or hire more experienced staff. And it would help us all if you mention to the Manager that the Staff did NOT do well. They have comped me when they made mistakes, such as offered us a free salad because they forgot to bring our salad order until the pizza arrived when I asked them where was my salad. The pizza is seriously the best I have had! The service is seriously the worst I have had. I wish they did delivery and at least they do take out so you don't have to experience there staff.

Sent salad back because it had old wilted lettuce with old nasty tomatoes. HAIR in second salad. Thick black hair. Totally disgusting. Greasy, tasteless pizza. I won't go back.

I think Zeek's is the best pizza in the downtown Kirkland area. Located on Park Lane, it is casual and usually full of families. The service can be a little slow at times, although always friendly. We usually start out with the very tasty Greek salad which has plenty of kalamata olives. The pizza crust is kind of sweet and very good, the "Cherry Bomb" is our personal favorite. They also have a good selection of beer, a few wines and a big pizza tossing window into the kitchen for the kid's viewing pleasure. Nice neighborhood place!

  • Stu H.

We've been a fan for Zeeks for a few years now. Their pizza tastes great and we love their various combinations. The Puget Pounder is delicious, not a greasy gut bomb like similar pies at other local joints. Our hands-down favorite is the Cherry Bomb, it re-defines how pizza should taste. We also like to take their Weekend Hippie, delete the onions and add bacon (take that hippies). We mostly order their pizza online for home delivery. Their website is easy to use and their delivery fast and always accurate. Last night we ordered the pizza at 4:00PM, asked for a 6:15 delivery and they arrived at 6:13.

This was our first time to Zeeks and we loved the pizza. The crust was perfect and the toppings were fresh. We also had the ceasar salad and we loved their house-made ceasar dressing.

Just great pizza, its fresh and they have so many combos that you would never think would work well together, but they do. Oh... They are the only pizza place that I has FRESH hot pepper slices for your pizza, not the pickled ones! The down side is that its pretty noisy, but its a pizza parlor, what would you expect?

Great place for everyone! This is my first ever review on Yelp but the staff and the atmosphere here made it necessary for me to sign up and spread the word. My kids have loved going here for quite some time - they get dough to play with, the staff is great and they get to sit and watch the pie chefs make the pizzas is a very entertaining environment. My two year old didn't stop laughing the whole time we were there and my eight year old loved chucking her dough at the window to the cooks. They had a ball. This is all well and good but the service is exemplary. I took my kids there tonight as my wife was out of town and we were looking for a fun night - had a ball as usual (oh and the pizza is wonderful and creative!). Ordered a large pie as leftovers are king in my house - as I went to pack up my to-go box I dumped all my leftovers on the floor (super bum move on my part). I started cleaning up completed destroyed knowing I would not have the leftovers for later - the staff quickly came over to help me clean up my mess and console me for my loss. As I gathered my kids up to head out our server rushed over to let me know they had thrown a medium pizza in the oven for us so we would not go home empty handed. As I type this our medium pizza is in the fridge (50% Buffalo Chicken/ %50 Pounder) waiting for tomorrows lunch. As I mentioned - this has always been a favorite place of ours and will certainly continue to be in the future. I urge you to bring your family there for a great night out with tons of fun, great food and terrific service. Enjoy.

this is probably the WORST zeeks ive ever been to. Not only did the guy, who told me he was the general manager, do nothing to resolve the situation, but was completely rude and condescending. My mother and i came in, paint falling off the walls, booths so hard to sit on, dirt on the table, dirt on my chair, grime along all of the walls, unfortunately for us, we did not notice this until later. We both ordered wine, after questioning a girl who knew absolutely nothing about wine, probably because she looked like she was 14, we just took our best guess. We then ordered a salad, after flagging her down because she seemed to forget about us. We ordered a pizza soon after. 25 minutes go by, my mother and i have not been offered refills on water or our empty wine glasses. I look around and notice our waitress is flirting with 2 guys she knows at the front of the store. Another ten minutes go by and nothing, i walk up to where the register is, because my waitress is still too busy talking to the guys up front and ask where or what is happening to our order. The gentleman said he would find out. Another 10 minutes go by, i finally get a refill on WATER, not my wine like we originally wanted. The gentleman who dropped our pizza off apologized for the long wait, then he went and proceeded to sit in a booth with our waitress who was on our phone. yeah..... never going back here again. Food is totally not worth THE HORRIBLE service. Sorry i dont want to hear about how my waitress who looks 14 got drunk last weekend with the 2 guys she ignored us for. ill take my $$ elsewhere. I should also say i contacted zeeks office, and they have yet to send an email back. They obviously dont care. There are so many pizza places here, dont waste your time and save your money.!!!!!!!!!

I think it's funny how all the reviews from 2008-2009 are all 5 or 4 stars but everything in 2012-2011 are all 2 stars or lower. I could not believe my waitress. Her name i believe was Jennifer. She was so RUDE! She acted as if i was putting her out on a Tuesday night with maybe 5 tables in the restaurant. She also had 2 holes in her pants which she tried to cover up with her tshirt but failed to do so. She looked so trashy. Then to make matters worse, she was sitting down eating in the back tables of the restaurant as if we don't have eyes to see her. You think that's as bad as it gets? Well guess what it gets even worse. After realizing she would be gone for long periods of time, no where to be seen in the place, i figured out where she had been. She was in the back of the restaurant taking SMOKE breaks! At first i thought she just wore ungodly amounts of perfume but it was the nasty odor of her Nicotene cigarettes on her clothes and hands that she was covering up! I WAS DISGUSTED. She handled our food, drinks, plates, silverware etc. And i am not a fan of smoking to say the least. I will never go back to this place. If they let their employees take smoke breaks while on the clock, i can only imagine the other things they let them get away with!!!!

Appallingly slow service and just ok pizza. Maybe they're into raw food because my mushrooms never saw the inside of the pizza oven. Peppery vino and bitter sauce overpowered the pizza. Crust is in between thick and thin. Good for kids: windowed area in the kitchen where they fling dough around.

Zeek's Pizza suffers from what I like to call "Lead Butt". The waitress and hostess were very nice and inviting, but getting the food to our table took FAR too long for a Pizza place. Being from New York, I'm not used to having a single slice of pizza take about 30 minutes to come to the table, or a salad for that matter! Zeeks' food is, however, very well done. I'm a big fan of their salads and their Vegetarian slice is one of the better in Kirkland's Pizza places. PROS: - Friendly wait staff. - Food is very tasty! - Located in Downtown Kirkland, surroundings are very lively and perfect for groups looking to get a bite to eat before bouncing around the local pubs. CONS: - Food service is sloooooooooooooow. When a salad and a single slice of pizza, at a PIZZA place, takes 30-40 minutes to come out - it's a problem.

The Pizza is Zeeks is really tasty! The service is fine (but I don't expect much as the vast majority of the staff looks to be in high school), and the environment is good for families and larger groups.

Zeeks is good for kids. They can be entertained by throwing pizza, and they get a dough ball to play with. The servers are nice and good with kids. The pizza is good. Sort of a chewy crust (I believe they use bagel dough). Good toppings. Not too greasy. Not the best ever but I like it. The salads are so-so. Can't really recommend any of them. The sidewalk seating is nice. 3.5 stars. Tastier salads would take it to 4 stars.

Nice people, decent pie, nothing to rave about except the location, which is excellent for access to the 4th of July festivities. Luckily we arrived at 6, and got a table right away. 15 minutes later the line was deep.

After walking around for a bit with friends debating the merits of various kinds of cuisine - we can all agree on Pizza. Rolled in and got a table for five. Ordered a large John Candy and a medium veggie pizzza. Both were very good. Good crust and a slightly tangy sauce. Bonus points for having a cute waitress. Rescinding bonus points because we weren't sure she was over 18.

You Washingtonians must have no idea about what good pizza *is*. Zeek's is by far, the worst pizza I've had in a very long time. With my parents who grew up on the east coast and me in the bay area, I've had pizza on both coasts. Zeek's is WA chain, and not even a good one. The sauce was unflavorful and right out of the can, the mushrooms tasted the same - right out of the can and the meats (specifically sausage) seems to be seasonless and a product of mass production. The quality of the pie was mediocre, at best. Maybe if you're a college student, Zeek's would be a good midnight call if you're hungry. If you want a really *good* artisan and unique pizza, try Flying Squirrel or Veraci, both located in Seattle. Zeek's is horrible...Round Table is even better than Zeek's.

Fun place to bring your family. Our son loves the ball of dough and the energetic employees. Pizza and salad is great but the dough and other kids to play with steals the show!

The pizza here is really good. The ingredients are fresh and the staff is friendly. However, one of the best things about this place is the location - it's smack in the middle of downtown kirkland and allows outdoor seating on nice days. Its the perfect place for a more casual date: dinner followed by a walk on the beach. Come early though since parking can be tight.

I went here last weekend, since I'd heard so much about their pizza being awesome. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed. We were seated promptly, which was probably the best thing about the entire experience. Once seated, we waited about 20 minutes, and noone came to take our order. I had to walk up to one of the waitresses and ask for someone to take our order. She arrived in a couple minutes, and apologized for the wait. I ordered a Pinot Grigio (which was decent), and my husband ordered a beer (which he said was quite good). We ordered a medium pizza, half Wood Butcher, and half Dragon. The pizza took about 25 minutes to come. I was expecting to be wow-ed, but it tasted just OK, nothing better than Pizza Hut or Papa John's (and at ~$20 for a medium, which is quite pricey). While we were there, we noticed some of the other tables had issues with the service, and had to go ask the servers to come take their orders. Thoroughly disappointed, and will not be going again.

Great place for families...entertain the kids with a window into the kitchen and balls of dough to play with. The Quattro Formagio is now my FAVORITE cheese pizza anywhere...

Probably the worst pizza place I have been to. Not a single "by the slice" pizza looked as if it was made within the past few hours. What pizza they did make tasted like cardboard with tomato paste. I worked in the pizza restaurant business for about 7 years and this place is probably one of the worst, especially for the price. If you want a decent pizza and beer, go to Flying Saucer pizza in Redmond (only about 4 miles up the street). It will cost you 1/2 as much and taste much better.

Great pizza and outstanding service! There is a monumental difference between pizza at Zeek's and what I call "corporate pizza". You know, Pizza Hut, Dominoes, Papa John's, etc. Corporate pizza sucks! The wonder of Zeek's starts with the crust. It's amazingly perfect in its texture and flavor: Crispy, yet doughy with just enough taste to not overwhelm. The sauce has just the right amount of tanginess and freshness. Yes, freshness is a theme that runs rampant through this place. Fresh sauce, fresh crust, fresh toppings, fresh service; I hear the salads are fresh and fantastic too. I'll have to try a salad the next time I'm in, which will be soon. I'm salivating already.

I was shocked (shocked I tell you!) at the low ratings that some customers gave Zeeks. My husband and I stumbled upon Zeeks during a car show in Kirkland. We were starving and just so happened to be walking past Zeeks Pizza, so we popped in got a few slices to go (I think they only do this earlier in the day?) and sat on the curb outside to enjoy. I was immediately in love with this pizza! I had gotten 2 slices of Pepperoni and they were perfect. BUT, I wasn't sure if the pizza was so good because I was starving or because it was actually that good. So a few months later I take our two kids to Zeeks for dinner and I realized that yes, it IS that amazing! The dough is flavorful, crisp on the bottom, and slightly chewy closer to the toppings- perfect! The sauce has a slight sweetness to it that really gives the pizza it's overall amazing flavor, and they don't go crazy covering the pizza in too much sauce like a lot of other places do. This is my favorite place to go now for pizza, I take the kids almost every week after their piano lessons which are nearby. Give it a taste and as long as you have taste buds you won't be disappointed.

I LOVE Zeek's pizza but this location is horrible at customer service. My boyfriend and I have been there several times hoping it would get better and it just doesn't. Today was no different. We were seated immediately and asked what kind of drinks we would like, those came fast. Then the waitress took our order. We got a large pizza to slipt and an order of their super delicious cheese bread (a must when you eat at any of their locations). Anyways, about 30 minutes goes by and I thought it was weird seeing as how they are an appetizer I asked when the bread would come out. The waitress returned and told me the kitchen had lost our ticket and they were making our food then. Uhhh... what? So we waited another 20 minutes and got our food. In the end the food was good but the waitress started to ignore us, probably because she sensed that we were pissed. They didn't offer like half off the bread or anything. Charged us and then just left. Needless to say we won't go back to this location. The drive to Bellevue is worth it. The service at that one is amazing.

You know, Zeek's Pizza... it's just alright. It's not bad and the toppings do taste fresh which I appreciate, but the reason I am giving them two stars is mostly due to the price. I just ordered two small pizzas tonight. The total was $38.48 + a $3 tip to the driver. $41.48 for two small pizzas that taste just "alright" seems very over priced to me. On top of that, the pizzas were barley warm and they forgot the ranch that was supposed to come with the pizza (Chicken Club). Again, the pizza was okay, but for okay pizza there are plenty of places to go that cost a lot less than $40. There are also a few places to go that cost about the same but that taste a whole lot better. I know we live in the land of the wealthy but, for what you get, Zeek's is a little too rich for my blood.

The pizza (Super Margarita) was very good and so was the Wild Greens salad. I love anything that has cashews in it. Our party had a total of 4 people in it and we all got a small salad and a large pizza and we were well fed. We came here on a busy Friday and I think they were understaffed or they need to hire more people for sure because we were there for a very long time. Luckily we had a lot of time and weren't in a huge hurry, but it should not take as long as it did for some salads and a pizza. The only other complaint one of my girlfriends had was that they didn't have any gluten free alternatives, so she didn't eat any of the pizza. Come to think of it, that is probably why we were so well fed and had leftovers. By the way, the Super Margarita is Super yummy at room temperature. I should know because the leftovers were mistakenly left in my car and when I got home after a long night of bowling and beer, I was very thankful for that mistake. :)

LOVE ZEEKS! The pizza and salads are always top notch with fresh ingredients and excellent combinations that are different than you find at other place. The staff is fun and friendly...every time!

Wandering through downtown Kirkland, looking for dinner, I found Zeek's and thought "Yeah, pizza sounds good". The dining room is rather big, with a good mix of tables and enclosed booths. There is also limited dining space outside. As often happens when I dine alone (and there isn't a bar to sit at), it took awhile before the server came by to take my drink order. But, after that, she was quite attentive. I ordered the Chicken Club pizza because, well, it had bacon (actually "double" bacon, per the menu). The pizza came out in about 10 minutes are so and the small was the perfect size for one hungry person. The measure of any pizza is the crust, and this one was excellent. Crisp, chewy and not too thick. The toppings and cheese were very tasty and seemingly of good quality. Although I didn't have room for dessert, Zeek's does feature Ben and Jerry's ice cream. I plan to visit Zeek's again the next time I'm in Kirkland.

Really great pepperoni pizza! It came to our table piping hot. Delicious sauce, lots of pepperoni, and the crust was super flavorful. They also have a variety of standard dipping sauces, including ranch and blue cheese that were fine. The fountain root beer was really watery, though. Our server switched it for a bottle of Thomas Kemper root beer in a chilled glass. As for atmosphere, it was terribly noisy - kids running around everywhere, and big families talking across long tables to each other at fever pitch did not exactly make for a calm sit-down dinner experience. Overall, they've got great pizza, but if you're looking for ambiance on a Saturday night, have 'em make it to go.

Quick Summary: GREAT for the kids, good service, mediocre to good pizza. I've been to Zeeks now 5 or 6 different times and have had a similar experience each time. We generally are seated right away, order and then the kids run up to the big glass window over the dough area and watch the staff make pizzas. Zeeks takes it an extra step by giving out little balls of dough to kids (upon request), which is awesome. The service is uniformly good and the waitresses have been pleasant. All that said, I have not been overly impressed with the pizza that they serve. Don't get me wrong; there are some great options (Spanish Steps and Wood Butcher are favorites), but finding cheese on the pizza is almost as challenging as keeping my kids from trying to throw their pizza dough balls in the air "like the guy in the window." I'm not overly impressed with the portions of any of the other ingredients, eitther, and the sauce ranges from meh to ok on a good day. Overall, if you have kids and want to go have a great time eating ok pizza, Zeeks is the place to go. I like Flying Pie and Pagliacci pizza MUCH more, but I'm willing to sacrifice a little on the pizza quality if it means the kids aren't yipping all through dinner. Plus, the service is good and everyone is friendly, which makes a difference in my book.

I LOVE ZEEK'S! High-quality, delicious pizza whether you eat in or get it delivered home. My personal favorite is the Tree Hugger (vegetarian) but add Chicken for the protein. This is a great healthy pizza choice topped with veggies. And the best part is you can divide the pizza up in quarters so if you have kids who eat only pepperoni or cheese you can just get a 1/2 or 1/4 of it for them. I usually do delivery and the operators are always very friendly.

Food was fresh tasting and the wait staff very friendly.....but they seemed really surprised that people come in and they have to wait on them in a somewhat timely manner.....20 minutes for a glass of wine. I get leisurely but this was a bit long even for me. Don't go here unless you got time to kill and aren't too thirsty.

I really like this place--the food, service, and mood...all good. I am fairly picky about pizza. I like Pagliacci's (only on the Ave), for great thin-crust, traditional pizza. I also like Serious Pie, for interesting and yupped-out pizza. Both have their place. I reject most delivery pizzas, due to the overwhelming saltiness and general grossness. On our first visit, the waitress offered to seat us away from a large party that was scheduled to arrive soon (a baseball team). Wow--I don't think that's ever happened--a waitress who looks out for your privacy and sanity, in such a kind way! We ordered a regular margherita with sausage added to half. The crust has excellent flavor (tang?) and texture. It's not crispy or thin, but it's not doughy or thick, either. Somewhere in betweeen. It had the perfect amount of mozzarella and roma tomatoes. The sauce tasted fresh (usually, pizza sauce is far too salty for me, not in this case), and the basil was beautifully chiffonaded. The waitress brought me lime with my diet coke (you'd be amazed at the number of times this simple request has been ignored, forgotten, or replaced with a lemon), and she checked on us a couple times. We were very impressed, and vowed to return soon. We went back the following weekend, and the experience was even better--because we were able to sit at a nice outdoor table. Lovely. This will become our regular pizza choice on the Eastside. CPK, you've been replaced. Your Thai Chicken ain't all that.

Superb! I am extremely picky about my pizza, and I LOVE pizza. Zeeks totally surpassed my standards. Probably my new favorite pizza shop east and west coast (although my heart always has a spot for Pinos). Super friendly staff at the actually joint and just as kind delivery service as well! Whether its cheese pizza, the John Candy (Oooooh so good) or a side order of bread sticks I have had a mouth-watering craving for more with each bite. Zeeks, you are my number one Seattle pizza pick!

Okay, on a whim I called up my man and told me to meet me here for dinner based upon all of you YELPER's. It was a wednesday after work, and I was still desperately looking for a place to hold my birthday party, and had been looking all over Yelp for ideas and was totally "googled" out. Great to hear all the praise, definately lived up to the hype. Let's say this together gourmet pizza....means more spendy than the crappy Papa John's cardboard, but better priced than the super snoddy-dod places. Place: 5:30pm - totally free from folks, but just a few dad's and kids (how cute...dad's turn to "cook" dinner). Waitress was prompt and trendy, offered us a booth instead of the square tables in the middle of the room. She came back with some "dough" for our yound one to play with. Good thing too because a good pizza from scratch takes a bit longer than those other places. Not a bad place for a bunch of young adults behind the pizza oven, odd to have the rocking 70-80's playing in the background, I bet they couldn't name the Led Zeppelin song playing. at least it wasn't "pop"... The waitress offered the deal of the day; "hump-day" speacial 5 topping for $20. I was already sold, didn't even look thru the menue, except to pick a greek salad to accompany the meal. Salad was super fast and super fresh, tasty and perfect. Pizza was to die for. Loved the check - 2 adults and one 10 year old for a total with tip of $40 (I usually tip 20% for a good waitstaff since I used to work in a restaurant). So, I called to see if I could bring in a large party for a saturday afternoon, and the young lady on the phone told me to book it online. okay....so I did, and she...lol...called me right back saying that they recieved my online registration and is expecting us on Saturday...oh wait, I have to give them a credit card number and pre-buy pizza's so they can have it ready when we get there....Odd, but I guess I am not accustomed to orgainizing large gatherings...(as if I had that many friends...LOL). No worries, i'm game for keeping my guests fat and happy and stuffed with this delicious pizza! I'm impressed, and I will let you all know how it went. Thanks for all the input beforehand!!!!

The pizza - awesome... I work in the area so end up frequenting Zeeks a couple times per month for lunch. Normally I just order a couple slices of pizza and a drink but today thought I would branch out and order a slice and a half salad - mistake.... I understand that 11:30 is early for lunch and that making salads take time but we WERE one of the very first there to order. I patiently waited for my salad while eating my pizza. I even talked to the very nice server who said it was coming when I went and asked. The problem was that several other people who ordered a salad after me already received theirs. After 20-30 minutes I went to the counter and asked for a refund for the salad. The manager answered with visible irritation about the request and indicated the salad was now ready. I asked again for the refund and he stopped mid sentence, walked over and said "sure" (he was obviously NOT happy). He argued that they make the salads first come first serve but that OBVIOUSLY was not happening and he said we were not there for very long. I was VERY tempted to ask him to look at the time on the receipt but decided to let it go and not make a scene. To top off this wonderful experience I was given the wrong change. We had originally ordered 1 slice + half salad and 2 slices lunch specials. When he rang the order up the second time to process the refund he added everything al-a-cart (on purpose? Not sure) so my "refund" was less than $2 when it should have been double that. At that point I didn't care anymore and just wanted to leave. Overall a great experience at Zeeks but apparently don't order a Chop Salad (they will make it last even if you order it first) and never ask for a refund.

I've decided to give it a try to Zeeks after reading all the positive reviews and we have ordered for delivery. Now I have started to wonder, has any of these 3-4 star reviewers never been to Pagliacci. Crust is chewy not crusty. The toppings, they are not very tasty and Zeeks is not very generous; you have this bare 1-2 inches area from the edges. It is not as greasy as chain Pizza, like pizza hut, I'll give them that. 3 of us, usually finishes a large pizza, but this time almost half is left.

I really like their creative pizzas. My favorite is the dragon pizza! Jalapeños! Yum! They have outdoor seating which is nice in the summer. The pizza is always consistent and fresh, the service is friendly and prompt. The salads have a little too much dressing, but still yummy. It's very family friendly, and can be distracting if you're trying to have a romantic date... I know it's not really a date place, but if you're walking around downtown kirkland, it's a nice place to stop have have a bit to eat. I'm not a huge pizza fan, but I will definitely be back when I'm in the mood for some pie!

We always get the ultimate Pepperoni, the bread sticks and the chop salad! I would love to try the other pizzas, but I do have a picky family. Every time we have gone there the service has been great. The kids love to watch them spin the dough through their window. Definitely a favorite for us.

So good my wife and I ate here twice in the span of 4 days. Okay, not the "best" ever but a home run. Crust is soft, flavorful, and we liked the "Spanish Steps" and especially the "John Candy" with salami, pepperoni and sausage with basil. Price a bit high for size but quality is there, for sure. Service a bit inconsistent, but more servers would help.

My first trip to Zeek's Pizza was at their store downtown by Fisher Plaza. That was about 10 years ago and I hadn't been back since because all I remembered was how expensive it was for average pizza. I finally succumbed to convenience and ordered two large pizzas from their Kirkland branch the other night and they still lived down to my expectations. Not only did I pay their rent for the month, the pizza is just awful. I didn't bother to notice their baking method, but if I had to guess, they are running it through a conveyor belt oven in or on some sort of a pan. By starting with some sort of crappy, pock-marked, prefab dough that was more like a bagel than pizza dough, they paint on a thin veneer of red sauce and then top it with some low grade mozzarella that has zero flavor and top it with premium toppings. That's like putting diamonds on a turd. And it probably tastes about the same. Their end product is bland, chewy and non-descript. It is some of the worst "pizza" ever foisted on the populace. Add the high price to this equation and you get a recipe for going somewhere else. It saddens me that there are enough people who consider this acceptable pizza to enable them to open more and more locations. I can understand they don't need to sell much at their prices to do so, but to know that there are that many people in this area who don't really know what good pizza is supposed to look, smell, and taste like is depressing and it continues to encourage pizza imposters like Zeeks to continue to proliferate.

Zeeks is an awesome Pizza place. Great for kids, I've even seen the waitresses give a group of children a 'tour' showing them how the pizzas are made. As far as the pizza goes, it's fantastic. The dough is warm, spongy and delicious. The cheese is great, and the sauce is perfect. I highly reccommend this place for anyone that wants to head out to dinner with friends.

If I'm staying on the Eastside, this is where I go for za. Last time we ordered the Cherry Bomb (sausage & sweet/spicy peppers), but also a big fan of the Puget Pounder, Tree Hugger and others. The first thing I judge about any pizza is the crust. I've been spoiled on neopolitan-style thin crust and so have lost my tolerance for thick, bready pies. Chicago-style and pan pizzas are just wrong. Zeeks crust is thicker than a thin crust, but much thinner than a thick crust. Toppings are next. Fresh. They have all the standards and a nice variety of "gourmet" toppings. Salads are just ok. They're fresh and you should eat your vegetables. I've had better salads, but this isn't a deal-breaker. Atmosphere is casual and upbeat. The kids love the big window to the kitchen & the play-dough. Price is right.

Stumbled upon Zeeks the other night and thought "sure, pizza sounds good". We joined an eclectic crowd, mostly families. I can't emphasize enough how kid friendly this place is - if it was any friendlier, it'd be Chuck E Cheese. Kids get coloring sheets and crayons, as well as a ball of pizza dough to play with a la modeling clay. Most smacked it around on the table but I noted on kid attempting to make a dinosaur. Over-achiever. Regardless, consider this fair warning - if you are an adult with another adult and you're looking for a romantic date, this is NOT your place. TURN AROUND. However, if you're with a group of people or some kids, or you're willing to be surrounded by kids, the pizza is pretty damn good. Made to order. We had prepared to get two small pizzas (we were both hungry) but the server suggested that instead, we do a half and half pizza either at a medium ("which is just enough to fill you") or a large ("leftovers"). Half of ours was one of the veggie ones, which has sundried tomato, artichoke, black olives, mushroom, broccoli, and other such good things on it and the other half was the Grand Salami - because for me, pepperoncinis and salami is all I need. Both sides turned out really good and the server was right - the medium was a perfect size for us. They have an array of alcoholic beverages (wine, beer...) and your usual sodas. They have Ben and Jerry's for desserts and salads for the non-pizza people. The price is a little up-there, but really, the quality was quite good - the crust was surprisingly tasty. I'd go back. They also do orders to go and some delivery, it appears.

The first time (and so far - only time) I've come here is with one of my friends Kat to grab some pizza to take home to eat. The place is cute and in the heart of downtown Kirkland - and seriously, who is going to hate downtown Kirkland with their mix of random shops and cute cobblestone streets? As for the restaurant itself, its a clean, no-nonsense atmosphere. Strictly pizza, and strictly fun + good eats. Behind the counter, you can watch all the cooks make your pizza (unfortunately they don't hand toss the dough - they roll it out), but you can watch the pizza roller through a window and make funny faces at him ... if thats what delights you. The pizza prices are uh. ... pretty high considering. They are about 12 bucks ? I think for a large pizza. But its worth it. The crust is crunchy but not so thin that once you bite into it it snaps in two. The cheese is deliciously chewy and ... well cheesy. We had the canadian bacon and pineapple (yummy) and a pepperoni, ham and sausage ... which for me was a happy ending. I should probably go back here again soon and frequently.

Zeeks is kind of a cool pizza place with nice service. We got a large pizza with like half a dozen special requests, so I sort of expected things to take longer and the order to come out a little off. So we ordered bread sticks in the meantime. Those were awesome. Have them. If you're not that hungry or think it might interfere with your appetite, then go a size smaller on the pizza. It was really great. The pizza was kind of unremarkable, but I chalk that up to the ridiculously specific toppings which we got and weren't quite my cup of tea. I should come back someday and just order one of their specialties the way they offer it, without a bunch of extra changes. They were pretty accommodating. One person in our group demanded to sit outside because it was a few degrees cooler and she didn't want to be seated within sight of the kitchen - no joke. So the waitress seated us in the meantime, served us drinks, and helped move all our stuff as soon as an outdoor table opened.

Enjoyed getting back to Zeeks after unintentionally ignoring it for a while. My wife and I split the Caesar Salad with very nice greens and one of the better Caesar dressings we've had. We both loved the Cherry Bomb pie, although she picked off most of the deliciously sweet, not-too-hot red peppers. I gladly added them to my slices. We both loved the flavorful crust and tangy sauce. The large was way too much for two people, especially after the large salad, so we had plenty of leftovers to take home. Service was pleasant and attentive. And although the place was full of kids, it wasn't too raucous on the evening we were there. We're planning to get to Zeeks on a more regular basis, especially for their slice & salad lunch-time special.

Zeeks pizza is by far the best pizza in the Seattle area! They have a variety of locations and you can do carryout as well. I have always eaten at the restaurant and it can get quite loud due to it being a small place with lots of children, if you are looking for something quieter try sitting outside on a nice day or get your pizza to-go and walk a few blocks to the beach. Although the pizza is more expensive than your average pizza place, its worth it every once in a while for this special treat! Zeeks is on my favs list for sure. Another one just opened in the Issaquah Highlands!

Zeeks; yet another Seattle area business finding it's way to the east side. Growing up in Ballard I have been subjected to pizza if all kinds and types. I know it's not NY or CHI but Seattle has the highest ratio if pizza places in the greater Seattle area by far. Most are small, privitely owned places tucked away in corners of neighborhoods that generally attract locals only. Regardless, I've had a lot of pizza around Seattle and Zeeks does a good job of stacking up. They have a good crust that isn't too thick but yet holds structure very well. They don't oversauce and they have a myriad of topping options that generally rotate throughout the day. Simply, Zeeks is good for a quick slice. I would still, given the choice, choose a small, non-chain shop for pizza but Zeeks is a close second. A warning though, delivery coupled with a couple pizzas and no coupons can get expensive.

The hub and I took the kids here on a weekday afternoon after a friend suggested it. I dont remember the name of the pizza we got but it was a sausage and peppers pizza. The quality of the peppers was good, super fresh. The sausage on the other hand was super processed, like something you'd get at pizza hut. Wasnt impressed, especially when the price was a lot more than the quality of the pizza.

Yummy alternate pizza. We actually had it delivered so I cannot comment on the decor. Our good pals in Seattle, who are regulars here, describe it as "pizza without guilt". We ordered the Thai pizza: peanut sauce, bean sprouts, carrot and chili sauce. Delish!! Reasonably priced and very prompt delivery (the delivery dude was pretty darn cute as well!) Good stuff!

THE GOOD: No crowd when we went, fast service THE BAD: The pizza THE LOWDOWN: Did not enjoy the pizza, ate it anyway because we were very hungry. I do not recommend this to anyone. I am pretty sure we got the Cherry bomb pizza. Maybe thats the problem, but not going back anytime soon. If you want a good pizza head to Everett to Brooklyn Bros. Pizza. My wife is part Italian and says its just a tad step down from Pizzeria Bianco.

Awesome Pizza - I recommend the John Candy (great actor and pizza). Never had a bad pie (but would recommend avoiding the salads). This is as kid friendly as a pizza joint can get. They have a special place for the kids to stand and watch the pies being made and thrown. They even give the kids dough to play with. Best of all they will 'kidize' a pizza (no oregano, toppings, etc).

I love zeeks. They have lots of creative pies like the cherry bomb and spanish steps. I also like the wood butcher it;s available in a slice. I think the only way get pizza here is to get the whole pie. The slices are tasty but, are not as fresh or creatively flavored as the pies, there is only the option of pepperoni, cheese and on a good day, wood butcher. I'm not a veggie but, there are plenty of good vegtarian options like frog's belly (It has green sauce, no frogs harmed in the making) I like the people who work here, they are all very nice. I know one of the ladies personally just from talking to her and she greets me by name. One thing that bugs me is the kids. They run around and scream. I think that parents need to do something called parenting.

I normally try to stay away from pizza that isn't thin crust READ: replica of something you would get in Venice, Italy. But I was dreaming of a salad for lunch and since I work across the street...count them 7 steps away, I walked in to a dark yet friendly pizza joint and ordered the Zeek Greek. Oh dear lord...how awesome to get a side salad for $5.75,which is the perfect size by the way, cause I can't stand food that spills of the plate and then gets wasted..my eyes eat with my stomach ya know. They made it in front of me so I saw exactly what when into it..and the dressing is a slice of lime, Olive oil and vinegar. Excellence I say!! Can't wait to go back and try their chop.

My wife and I ate here the other night and thought it was a pretty good experience. We ordered a vegetarian pizza with spinach, feta and tomato. It wasn't the best I've every had, but it wasn't terrible. The pizza actually got a bit soggy after it cooled down. Because of this, the leftovers were not good at all, and leftover pizza is usually delicious! Oh well. I will say that the service was very good and I really liked the Zeeks beer!

My 5 friends and I attempted to dine at Cactus in Kirkland after a hot summer day out on the lake, and were bummed to find ourselves in line for a 45 minute wait. Scratching the original plan - Zeek's Pizza became plan B, conveniently across the street, with zero line, and equally good food for significantly lower prices. Zeek's allows you the privilege of dining family style - which is just what we did. One order of garlicky breadsticks, an 18th green and chop salad, and one large half pepperoni & half Canadian bacon pizza later, and we were sitting pretty. The pizza crust and toppings were delicious, evidenced by the 6 of us wolfing down our entire meal in about 30 minutes. I guess that's a pretty tell-tale sign of a good meal.

Not much for me to say about this place they have a lot of pizza pies to choose from I simply came in for a quick lunch with my step brother so we grabbed a cheese pizza and a beer and some breadsticks I did like the pizza only complaint at all I didn't really like the breadsticks they were almost pure seasoning like cheese but nothing special not too bad though.

AMAZING pizza... our favorite is the dragon. It's a warm, spicy, fatty slice of pizza heaven. This health nut does not eat pizza all that often but for the calories involved, it better be worth it. Zeeks IS!! What Zeeks doesn't seem to do so well is service. The ONLY time (and I've been here many times) I've received attentive service was when I went with a group of my gorgeous girlfriends. But a normal pizza night with my fiance scores us pizza that takes forever to come out, a server who forgets we're there and the most watery iced tea I've ever tasted. I will forgive bad service in the name of really good food, so Zeek's is saved on this one. Expect amazing pizza... in about half an hour.

Pizza is okay but the service was fast and friendly. Still a fan of Garlic Jims.

Nice clean place, quick food that is "pretty tasty." But it gets 2 stars because it gives my man IBS every time he eats there.

My favorite pizza here is the Dragon pizza - the fresh jalapenos are an eye opener! Good place to grab a beer and a slice if I'm in the neighborhood, but wouldn't drive from out of my way here. It would also be a great place to take a family with kids to do the pizza parlor thing!

Pepe Mush Gar stands alone. So simple but I've never found another pizzeria make it taste quite like Zeek's. I love their thin crust with a bit of chew to it and the bright tang of the tomato sauce. Fresh herbs, fresh garlic and fresh cheese...always perfect. The tree hugger is my second fave with delicious broccoli, spinach and other green goodies. These were the two pies I requested at my bachelorette party because they make me so happy and my thoughtful friends obliged. Of all the Zeek's I frequented, this was my favorite and most consistent. I love the beer selection, brick wall interior, small outdoor seating area and large booths inside. The kids working the counter were always happy. It was a little much in here in the evenings though when families piled in with tons of shrieking kids who loudly ran rampant all around this restaurant. Take-out was my preference. Don't forget to add a chopped salad to your order! I miss Zeek's a bunch and always make a stop here when I come home for a visit...I think I'm about due.

Laid-back atmosphere and menu full of choices promises good food, quality ingredients. Zeeks comes through with all of the above. This is the place for families with children, med-large groups or just a fun date night. Plus they gave our group of ten 3 pints of Ben & Jerry's Ice cream on the house! For great pizza and fast friendly service, you can't beat Zeeks.

We regularly order from here, about a year ago we were not technically in their delivery range but they always made an exception. We are now in the new expanded delivery range. The pizzas are on the expensive side but they are good and every employee is always friendly. One time they called and asked if I could participate in a survey, for my 2 minutes on the phone I received a free coke and slice.
