Got the medium cheese pizza, there was an overwhelming amount of cheese on it and it was very hard and chewy within the next half hour. Lots of grease and oil on top of the pizza, and even after i wiped it all off the pizza was still greasy. Little to no tomato sauce, and the bread was thinner than the thick layer of cheese. The medium was $15, and very overpriced. Not going to come here again.

What happened? This used to be one of the best Italian places in the area. Informal, friendly, and good food -- especially the meat sauce! Tonight, we were really disappointed. The meat in the meatballs was pretty old, the meatsauce had a sour tang -- and even the drinking water tasted sulfurous. Hopefully, they are just having a bad night.

Excellent gluten free menu. We came in tonight, Monday, with kids and wheelchair, and they were very accommodating. The manager and staff were very pleasant.

If you like being talked down to or treated like you're 5, go here, or better yet...order Romio's from "GrubHub" and see how it goes. The owners and employees are clueless as to basic customer service. I have been there several times over roughly seven years now; always mediocre or slightly above average food. RUDE wait staff, however, but I weathered the storm. We recently ordered 2 entrees via GrubHub and once they were delivered, I immediately saw that my entree was incorrect. Like, by 101%. That's a lot. Especially since I know exactly what their dishes look, smell, and taste like. We called GrubHub to say we would request a replacement for the correct meal instead of a refund because I was *really* looking forward to the pesto. I called Romio's and the woman had the audacity to tell me I had no idea what I ordered and what it should look or taste like! She then said, "I don't have any record of your phone number, so how would you even know what is in the dish?". Umm, well for starters sweetie pie, I have always dined in, and the number I was calling from was my husband's, therefore, you have no record of it, but thanks for checking. Suddenly, she's a private investigator determining I have never eaten their food and especially that one dish. I felt so much safer. WOW. They later sent a bully to deliver the replacement/correct entree...and he demanded the incorrect meal BACK! As in, take it out of the trash (it had already been over an hour now), and shove it into his fat, sausage fingers. Imagine my surprise. Yeah, I'm practically in the mob and I don't know pesto from alfredo? Right, lady.

I've been a consistent customer at the 124th Romio's for many years. My family and I had a pretty terrible experience tonight. All new wait staff. No clue. The place was almost empty. Drinks took 30minutes to show up. Refills didn't happen. Food took almost an hour to show up. Something is very wrong with Romio's. Don't waste your time. I am not going back.

Great grinders, pizza and salads. Good atmosphere, although with no host stand, knowing where to sit and/or order is a bit tricky. Chopped Salad and Romio's Special grinder have been highlights for us. Always glad to take some home for the next day's lunch!

I've ordered from Romio's in Redmond before and my fiance and I moved out to Juanita so decided to give this location a shot. I'm gluten free (I have a mild allergy, not celiac, my fiance is not). Romio's has a great list of gluten free options. The pasta's are great and the buffalo wings are great to. The pizza was good as well but it tasted like they may have modified their recipe because it was different then what I remember the Redmond location has. The gluten free garlic bread sticks were a huge bust. My fiance and I were so excited about trying them and there was absolutely no garlic flavor. It looked like they just poured garlic butter (the kind you find at Papa Johns that some people dip bread sticks in) all over the bread sticks, but only butter. I also had a reaction to something I ate (FYI I NEVER had a reaction when ordering anything g/f from the Redmond location) not sure what I had a reaction too. It could have been the buffalo wings because the staff wasn't 100% positive if the sauce had gluten in it. I took the risk because my allergy is mild enough that I can endure the discomfort (my hands, feet, and face swell and my eyes become really irritated - eyelids especially, I can only open them 80% of the way from the swelling). So it was the wings or maybe someone rolled the dough for the pizza out and used regular flour on the rolling pin, who knows. Just be careful if you have celiac disease.

This is my favorite pizza place I the area! Staff is friendly, food is delicious and they deliver right to your home... What's not to love about Romios! My favorite is the Zorba pizza: tomatoes onions Greek olives and gyros meat with a side of tzatsiki sauce...yummii

Love this place. Chop salad is amazing. G.A.S.P. pizza impeccable. Submarine sandwich sinful. The waitress I usually have is so sweet!!!!

Gluten-free pizza options with great toppings. I used to bring this home to share with roommates on Friday nights. It's a bit more expensive than the nearby chain options, but the quality is better, too.

I would give them three stars because the pizza was middle-of-the-road but they have a huge gluten free selection which gets them the fourth star.

New to the area and gave this place a shot. I was craving authentic Italian pizza. But I ended up ordering the Greek Gyros, cheese bread, and chocolate cake. The food arrived room temperature, side salad and all. The taste was good. Not great but good. Definitely not the best considering how much I paid. The cheese bread was quite chewey, slightly stale tasting. Nothing tasted very fresh. The chocolate cake slice I was very excited about. For $4.75, I was expecting a glorious large slice of cake. Which was the biggest disappointment if all. Barely two inches wide of a slice, and tasting like they picked it up at a grocery store. Very, very disappointing. Ill give them another shot and perhaps dine-in rather than delivery. Overall, free delivery was nice, food was mediocre, service wasnt bad.

Sometimes I feel like I give too many 4 & 5 stars out on here, but when I love something, I can't help but announce it to the world! This place meets that criteria - I love it. They have really excellent gluten-free pizzas (Samos is probably my favorite), and their salads are delicious - I like to get the house salad, the spinach salad, and the Greek salad (not all in one sitting, 'kay?). My only slight complaint is that when you order a *gluten-free* salad for take out, they often include the very much GLUTENOUS bread that comes with the conventional version of the salad. You have to ask for them to add gluten free bread to your order, and it's about $2 or so more - they should just build that charge into the gluten-free version of the salads, and avoid unknowingly poisoning those with gluten allergies/sensitivities who don't know that they should ask or request the change in bread (after all, when you say, "I'd like a gluten free Greek Salad," doesn't that imply that everything about it should be GF? I think so). All that aside, hurray Romios!

I keep ordering from this place because it has that balance of good, but not quite good ENOUGH. I keep giving them another chance. One day, my meatball sandwich will be phenomenal and the next time I order it is sloppy and lousy. Disappointing but just barely good enough to keep me coming back. I love that they deliver, but 45 minute delivery time seems absurd. But it's the norm. *sigh* probably giving them one more chance still..

Pizza is phenomenally expensive and extremely small for the price. Mediocre quality. Wings were spongy. Order and delivery were both quick and accurate, but strong recommendation to avoid based on quality and price.

Soooo good! I love their Garden pizza. I don't know what they do to their crust or how they make it but it is out of this world. This is my go to for take out or delivery. Absolutely love it!

We ordered the GASP (Garlic, Artichoke, sun dried tomatoes, pesto) pizza. It was pretty good except that they put the pesto on after it was baked instead of baking it in. I thought this was odd. My son ordered the pesto pasta. The pesto was a milky soup sitting in the bottom of his dish. Garlic bread had no garlic flavor, or butter flavor, very bland. The other dish we ordered was the baked fettuccini formaggi. Good amount of cheese but no flavor, had to add salt to it.

  • Jeff A.

I got some pizza from here once and it was pretty good! However, the cheese was a little on the cheap side, and to be completely honest, I would rather just go to Pagliacci if I am going to spend the same amount of money.

This is for their delivery. Love the chicken parmesan and the pasta dishes. Very flavorful and rich. The Pizza is ok and the wings are acceptable. I will continue trying more items and may even try dining in one of these times. This is a place I will go back to several times. I will update as I try more items and east in.

I rarely give out 1 or 2 stars. Last night we were lazy and ordered delivery for a large margerhita pie, a large gluten free veggie pie and a half dinner salad with their homemade italian dressing (not the creamy one). I wanted to try their new gluten free options as I just received a flyer. The gluten free pie was okay. Oddly the slices were not slices, they broke in lots of random slices. That was not my issue, it is always a gamble to try for gluten free pizza pie and I am pretty forgiving with that. My main issue was the regular margerhita pie. It was DOUSED in mozzarella cheese, to the point where it was NOT appetizing. There was 1 slice of tomato on each slice. The pie was dripping in grease and I don't mean a little extra, I could probably have collected at least 1/4 cup of grease from the pizza and i am NOT including the grease that I had to blot off with paper towels. It was disgusting. The other thing that really bothered me is the salad dressing. Italian salad dressing. I had a nice convo with the woman on the phone she raved about the dressing. IT was mostly oil and it didn't even taste like anything, let alone like an italian dressing. I was so disappointed that I dropped $50 on crappy food. Its really not that hard to make decent pizza but apparently at Romios it is. I would avoid this place or at least don't order what we did last night. Save your money and go to pagliacci for the gluten eaters.

Horrible. For 12 bucks and slow delivery, my calzone was all dried out and burnt to a crisp. Threw it out and finished working on an empty stomach.

i ordered the kirkland romios delivery atleast 12x's during my stay in town and everything i ordered was on time, good, and whats most important to me consistent! i tried alot of the menu and my favorite was the chicken parmesan pasta (add meatballs too $1.95 for some serious goomba fusion baby). also i like the way they dont "whack you" on sodas. you can mix and match a 6 pack for $4.99! i do recommend always getting their meat sauce (even with mozzerella sticks for example) just because its so much better than their regular marinara. anyway, it is this reviewers opinion that romios is (almost) as good as a fine juliot if you know what i mean

I order to-go often from here as it's close to work. I have a love affair with the Romeo's Famous Chopped Salad. It's so good, who doesn't love chicken, salami, lettuce, mozzarella, basil, tomatoes and garbanzo beans. YUM! The half size is plenty big for one person and their house Italian dressing is rockin! Service: I have only ordered out, but they are always great with me on the phone and when I go to pick-up too. Restaurant: Inside is small with limited number of tables and is very clean. Food: - Chopped Salad (we have established I really really like this salad!) - Cheese Bread (super cheesy and delicious.) - Chicken Parma Sandwich - Mango Mousse Cake I always know when I order that it's going to be quick & tasty.

I ordered food delivered from here yesterday for lunch. I started throwing up 45 min after I started eating it. From timing/symptoms/etc it was clearly food poisoning from this meal. I called them today to let them know. I spoke with the manager and she didnt seem to get why I was calling. She asked if I wanted a free lunch I said no I'm probably not going to eat there ever again I was calling to let you know what I ate in case you had any of it left you may want to throw it out just in case. Her response was "yes we still have that same batch of soup today but I'm not going to throw it away because one person got sick." First of all, soup should not be reheated daily. It can only be reheated once and then thrown away. Maybe they made it fresh yesterday and were going to throw it away today but after looking up their health inspection reports online I doubt it. It looks as though this place is very unsanitary and doesn't follow proper food safety protocols since it's clearly a repeated pattern with the health department. And after a customer complaining of getting food poisoning they clearly don't care. I hope nobody else got sick! Please don't eat here, food poisoning is no joke, I'm so glad I didn't happen to feed any of it to my 1 year old yesterday. I offered her a bite but she happened to not be hungry yet so I ate first.

Romio's is not bad but it's also not that great. Let me preface this by saying I'm an East coaster. I'm used to a certain standard of Italian food. Since living on the west coast for the past few months, I haven't met anything that remotely reached that standard. A few nights ago I got takeout here. My boyfriend got a Greek calzone which was huge and several dollars less than the pasta dish I got. My dish was pesto chicken. The chicken tasted like it was soaked in lemon juice. It didn't fit the dish at all. The more I ate it, the more I seemed to hate it. At first it was all right but was inedible. I proceeded to only eat the pesto/penne and ignored the chicken. My boyfriend seemed to be happy with his calzone and ate all of it. Everything seems just a bit too overpriced. Why is it $13+ for one small rectangular box of pasta with a few bits of chicken tossed in? Maybe that's just how it is here. I don't know. All I know is that I doubt I'll be back.

First of all parking is bad. We had to park in the lower lot and walk up. Next - service was not great - we waited and waited but no one came to take a drink order - finally I had to flag someone down. The Pizza was OK - not great but OK which brought them up to the 3 stars. Perhaps I am old fashion and a New Yorker and maybe uncaring but a pizza place with a special Gluten free menu seems strange. My understanding is less than 6% of the population has an issue with it but we seem to be changing everything. Sorry but gluten free does not taste the same.

I've ordered from here twice. They delivered, and the food was really tasty. The delivery took about an hour, when they said it would be only a half hour. The second time, we were starving and it was 15 minutes until closing. I called anyway, and asked if it was too late to order. The girl on the phone was super nice, and we placed a to-go order. The Panini was pretty disappointing, but I enjoyed the pesto cheese bread. I will definitely be back!

I tried the pizza here several times, and I loved it. I get the house special every time. I haven't had anything else but it all looks good. I like the fact that they used fresh ingredients. I will have to try something new next time.

Food was bland and way too greasy (soaked through the box greasy). They messed up on one of my four items, forgot a second. I called and they said they would send someone out. 45 minutes later, I called and told them to forget it. Terrible service, poor quality food.

Ugh the worst. No silverware, soggy wings, overpriced spaghetti with no flavor, such a waste of money. Should have ordered room service, would have been better and cheaper.

Delivery took a record breaking HOUR and 45 MINUTES to arrive. I've ordered from Romio's before and I have nothing critical to say. The food is fine, it's convenient...which is sometime all you need. I placed a delivery order through Eat24. After an hour I starting tapping my finger, wonder what the hold up was. After an hour and 15 minutes I called Romio's to check on my order. The woman said, "I don't know... but the driver is on his way." She offered to call the driver, and kept me on hold for another 5 minutes only to return saying, "He's not answering his phone." I suppose at that point what I expected her to say was, "I'm so sorry for the inconvenience, can we make it up to you by giving you your meal complimentary?" No such luck. After an hour and 30 minutes I finally cancelled my order on through the website. 15 minutes later there was a knock on the door--but it was too little too late. I understand sh!t happens. And when it does it seem like good business practice to humbly right your wrong. To unapologetically act as though an hour and 45 minutes is an acceptable delivery time for a measly plate of pasta is arrogant and rude. I'd rather give my money to business' who value their customers. Romio's does not.

really great eggplant Parmesan sub (I order it repeatedly because I work around the corner), but everything else I've tried is just ok and not my style. Pizza is greasy and pasta is oily, so if that is what you like then you will enjoy that style.

  • Chris U.

Good pizza and good value. For about $8 got a side salad and personal pizza with 2 options. Portion size was spot on. They have an impressive menu of options both pizza and other dishes or sandwiches. One item of awkwardness. As we were leaving I look outside the window and on top of their trash can is a Stoffuers lasagne box. I didn't have the lasagne so I can't speak as to know if that is what they were serving. But I did find it worth mentioning.

I ordered a meal from Romio's through GrubHub tonight. The food was delivered 20 min early, and it was hot. I ordered a chicken, goat cheese, pesto, sun-dried tomato and walnut pizza and a caprese salad. Everything was just okay... The pizza was a bit imbalanced with too much gorgonzola cheese, too little Parmesan, too much oil over pesto and too little chicken, but the crust edges were delicious. A piece of garlic bread came with my meal, but it was nothing more than a glorified, elongated, buttery crouton. The caprese salad was fresh; the tomatoes and basil were tasty, but the dressing needed a balsamic kick or something to bring the dish beyond one bland note. I might order from here again, but I'd likely get a more traditional pizza with red sauce, cheese and meat. PS- I love GrubHub

Just not great. I've had frozen pizza that's better. We ordered cheese bread and a pepperoni pizza. The pizza was seriously horrendous, almost inedible. The cheese bread wasn't much better and the sauce was terrible. I think I will stick with frozen pizza when in a pinch.

Took over an hour to get my food even though it was estimated at 35-45 minutes and I was being reassured my food would arrive any minute via Eat24 support. When I asked for a partial refund, the Eat24 support person stop responding to me. Cheese bread was okay, I've had better. Caesar salad didn't impress me. The Four cheese Spaghetti bake with meatballs was actually good after having the average cheese bread and salad. Probably wouldn't order again, wished they handled things better.

Not sure what all the whining is about. From the moment I walked in the door the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The side salad was very fresh iceburg, carrots, red cabbage, black olives and mozzarella cheese. The pesto linguini arrived a moment after I took the last bite of the salad. Piping hot, cooked perfect. Not fancy, just good and reasonably priced. Unlike the chain across the street that is overpriced, and has unhealthy portion sizes, Romio's is a great little family owned business.

DELIVERY Review -- The chicken parmesean was as good at home as in the restaurant. Also the spaghetti marinara with meatballs was decent, altho seemed machine / factory made rather than fresh made in the store, and were tiny. What wasn't good was the accompanying salad. Unlike in the restaurant, at home the salads are exceedingly wet, as if the lettuce is kept in water and not drained or dried prior to packaging. Really unappetizing. Last order included pesto cheese garlic bread which I devoured within about 5 minutes. Very yummy. Online ordering says it can be up to an hour for delivery, but both times it arrived in less than half that time.

I would say its rather difficult to screw up pizza these days. Romios has found a way. Not only was it covered in burnt garlic, a rancid tasting sauce, and on a beef jerky textured crust, but it costs MORE than Pagliacci, Papa Johns, or virtually anywhere else that sells and delivers pizza. For comparison, a Pagliacci that has far superior ingredients and a higher level of consistency costs about $5-6 less for a large. A Papa Johns would be even less than that. Compared worth those, I would pay about $9 for this pizza. It cost $25 and it made me want to throw it away after the first slice. Bad pizza, bad value.

My husband and I dropped by here for a quick bite to eat before a class we were taking. We shared a dinner salad and a medium pizza. One of my favorite things about pizza joints are their dinner salads. It's the freshness of the iceberg lettuce which I don't normally love, the mozzarella, the olives, cukes, everything about it is just simple and fresh... but as Forest Gump would say, simple is as simple does. It's the perfect simple salad to accommodate a pizza. So, Romio's nails that pizzeria dinner salad I tend to love so much. The pizza arrived and was half veggie and half cheese and was good as well. The crust was great and the slices were small enough we didn't feel heavy afterwards. All in all we were pleased with the food we had here. Now if only they offered free WiFi:(

What an absolute disappointment! I called ahead for pick-up, paid, and waited for my pizza. I then saw the guy who handles the boxes and packs up the pizza picking olives off a pizza with his bare fingers. Possible health violation?!?! He put the pizza in a box, took it to the prep table, where another guy placed the correct ingredients (keep in mind the pie already was cooked once) and put it back in the oven! I watched it ALL happen and when I complained they argued with me. REALLY?!?! Twice baked pizza theta been finger picked just isn't appealing. Shame on you Romio's! Sure I got my money back, but no apology.

Super duper baked pastas and yummy salad with balsalmic vinagrette with bread sticks! And free delivery!!! :-) Super yummy baked pastas, hot sandwiches and pizzas! And the best service!!! Such good pizza you'll want to smack your mamma. Just kidding. Its really hard to say whats better their dreamy pizza or their awesome meatball or chiken parm subs (huge)! :-) Just ordered one of their fabo pizzas delivered cause of the cold and rain. Makes the pizza taste better when u dont have to go get it! :-) The very best pizza with the very best toppings and delivered in a flash with a great big smile! The overall yummiest food on the Eastside! :-) The best food, the best draft beer and soda and by far the best service! Just ordered delivery pizza from my favorite place. Great crust, great sauce and awesome toppings! And fast delivery. Yum yum Great lunches and dinners. Wonderful service. And nice imported beer. Awesome hot sandwiches, pizza, service. Soda in bottle and fountain and deserts that look too good to mention! I don't do gluten free - but they do! They do dine in, pick up, delivery. And every item on the menu I've tried is wonderful! You will never regret giving them a try! And they have coupons in the local valpak and their Togo menu. Love the chicken parmesan sandwich! Read my full review. The meatball sub sandwiches and chicken Parm sandwiches are to die for. Great service and they deliver and do Take out. Great house salad! Yum

If you are into Gluten free food, this place is for you. Pizza is great and they even have non-dairy cheese. Fresh vegetables and wonderful bread. Well done.

They make great pizza. It's got a thick, chewy crust, and it's cooked until the cheese browns on top - delicious. I especially love the ones with the fresh tomatoes on top (in addition to the tomato sauce), such as the House Special or Acropolis. There's a good variety of specialty pizzas too - the gorgonzola pizza is well worth checking out. The only con in my mind: I haven't tried many of the pastas/sandwiches/salads, but what I have tried was kind of meh. My advice: if you eat here, stick to the pizza.

I have always enjoyed the food here. I recently had an unfortunate experience trying to use PayPal. I placed an order through PayPal, but when I went to pick it up I was told that they had no idea what I was talking about, and that they do not accept PayPal. It could have been handled better by the staff.

Terrible service! I went in with my sister, who is a waitress, who was pretty appalled at the service. We also had two waiters, who obviously didn't communicate with each other. The guy (Mario) was nice, just a lousy waiter. The food was pretty good, though expensive for what it was (gyro very small with only meat and onions), though the calzone was huge. And they charged for dressing to the salad...who does that? They also charged my sister and then never brought her dressing, even when prompted. We got 1 refill even when there were only two other parties in there. The waitress seemed irritated even when I just asked for a water to start, and then every request seemed like a huge imposition. As the food was good and the service terrible, I'd recommend just ordering delivery.

If you're looking for a sit down restaurant to enjoy pizza, this place has a nice little setup to do so. I ordered a veggie and special pizza, so this review is only relevant for pizza. Here are the pros: 1) They use nice fresh toppings 2) They cooked the pizza very well 3) There was a nice proportion of toppings/sauce/cheese Here are the cons: 1) The pizza is very expensive and I'm not sure the quality difference really justifies spending double the amount I would at Papa Johns or more than many of the other sit down places 2) The sauce seemed a little watery. I don't like super thick sauces, but I do like there to be a little more thickness to them than what these pizzas had. In the end, I thought this was pretty good pizza, but the price for the overall taste can't quite pick up more than an average rating (I'd expect a bit more from paying that much). It's a shame because the toppings were almost enough to push these pizzas to a 4.

Just another Romio's..... The pizza is one notch above Pizza Hut. Thick cheese that doesn't bubble over, pizza dough that is more like a bready pizza shell and sauce that is very bland. The calzone I had at this location was ok. Prices were a little on the high side. All Romio's seem to be the same...Nothing special.

They need to step up their game here. I ordered two smalls with an addition of chicken on one of them and the price total came out to $28.00. The delivery driver wanted a tip too and I just couldn't do it. Eat here if you have the money. $28.00 for two small pizzas is pretty much theft. The pies weren't very good either. They were very greasy and tasted like a mix between Pizza Hut and Little Caesars. I was extremely unimpressed and actually felt a little mad and taken advantage of. If you have money to burn and like greasy pizza then by all means eat here. It's probably a good thing they are located in Kirkland where rich yuppy's can afford their pizza. I can't imagine how much it would cost to feed a family here. I was barely full off the two smalls.

Picked up lunch here since I was in the neighborhood. Very interesting. I had the chicken marsala with caesar salad. Chicken Marsala is one of my favorite dish's. I have made it many times. Usually comes with a light marsala sauce with mushrooms. This was totally different then any marsala I have cooked or eaten in a restaurant. It was extremely cheesy, almost like a cheese & pasta casserole, or mac & cheese dish with extra cheese ! It was tasty, and the chicken was cooked nicely. But, the chicken didn't taste very fresh, it was a bit "off". The salad was great, and the garlic bread was fantastic ! I would like to try a different meal at this place sometime, and possibly upgrade todays rating. I must say the portion was HUGE, I could only eat about a 1/3 of it. And they did not skimp on the chicken at all. The interior was very pretty, nicely decorated. and, they have two big TV's. Service was excellent.

This place was much better than I thought it would be. It doesn't look like much from the street, but the food is good. We got the BBQ chicken pizza, a pasta dish, and a salad, and they were all delicious. They weren't gourmet by any means, but it was definitely a big step above your chain pizza place. The environment was simple, casual and comfortable. It's not somewhere we will go all the time, but I'm sure we'll be back.

Cheese bread is the best! Their margherita pizza is delicious and salads are craveable. I've never had a bad meal here!

I've only ordered from Romio's once, and I only got a cheese pizza - I was impressed with their other menu selections and might revisit this review with a higher rating after I've tried them. The pizza here was pretty good, but not great. They used what seem to be quality ingredients, although the pizza was a bit overcooked. Its possible that I just got unlucky and that on a future visit, the pizza could be better. I ordered for pickup - service over the phone was average, not great, I had a decent amount of hold time before they took my order. Time for pickup was somewhat slow as well. Not a bad pizza place, but not enough to drag me away from the chains.

A four because a couple times they messed up my delivery by bringing less and once they charged me twice, they fixed the problem when I brought it to their attention. Service from some of the staff isn't so great. Sometimes I wonder what they are thinking. Despite the errors I still think they have great food which is why they get a good rating :)

I was too lazy to go out for dinner in a rainy evening and found this restaurant online. I ordered Marsala chicken for delivery. The food showed up at my door 30 mins after the order was placed. Thats amazing. The delivery was free even my food only cost like $15. The chicken breast was juicy. The portion is twice as much as I expected and I saved half of it for lunch. Will definitely try some other things next time.

I have to report an extremely disturbing discovery from this place during our first and only visit. The food we ordered was mediocre, but you don't expect amazing food from a strip-mall Italian restaurant. That said, I think for $12.95 you should get something better than Stouffer's Lasagna. No, I'm not being facetious, there were 4 boxes of Stouffer's Lasagna (Family Size) in their garbage pile, clearly visible through their east-facing windows. A few boxes fell over at one point and one of the cooks went outside and stacked them atop the overflowing garbage pile. This is absolutely unacceptable practice for a restaurant and I highly recommend you save yourself $10 and buy it from Fred Meyer. I don't even...

My son, his girlfriend and I came here in our new, post Pizza Works pizza quest. We had a half and half pizza that was barely OK. The half I ate was OK, but the other half was not up to temperature. The toppings were sparse, and the sauce, well son's GF said if she wanted Spaghetti sauce she would have ordered Spaghetti. They have Gluten Free crust option. They didn't say too much about prep or cooking, so take your chances, or ask lots of questions.

Had a coupon...gave them a try. Pizza was good not great. Toppings were minimal. And my pet pizza peeve: soggy in the middle.

Decent food, great delivery staff, lots of variety on the menu. I order from them regularly. Great for those nights when you want something yummy but don't want to cook.

ULTIMATE place for kids. I went last night with my son, a girlfriend, and her baby. There was a lady making balloon animals for the kids! It's so nice for the staff of a restaurant to help me get through a dinner out. Also, my lentil soup was not bad at all especially for the $5 it costed. Cute and clean place!

This is my favorite place for pizza. The pizza dough tasted just right and the chewy texture is just perfect. Their salads are always tasty as well but pasta is not their thing. The pasta was always soggy. Service is ok and can be better. Oh well, what do I expect... it's a small local joint. Notes: Pop refill up to three times

I have been to this Romio's a few times over the past few weeks. The food is fantastic and the service is even better. The Olympian pizza with pineapple is may favorite. The atmosphere is warm and friendly and cleanliness is apparent on both sides of the counter. ****** Going back soon:]

My husband and I eat here just about whenever we want to order in. They have an extensive online menu and our delivery service has always been prompt and friendly. So far in the years we've been using this location we've never had a messed up order. The food is always delicious and most of the time it's piping hot. I prefer their pastas to their pizzas but have always enjoyed both. My absolute favorite item is their 'famous' chopped salad. It's definitely a bit pricey but for tasty Italian food straight to my door it's about what I'd expect.

The Greek pizza $25 tasted good but was not cooked all the way. The pasta dishes all oozed plenty of some unknown oil-grease. The fish & chips $12 is like the cheap store version. The salad was a half a plate of iceberg lettuce. Dominos pizza and salads are a lot better and cost half as much.

My fiance and I have been ordering from here for quite awhile and have spent a whole lot of $$$ here, mainly because of their gluten free options. The last time we ordered carry out the food was sloppy and undercooked. Being the loyal customers we are we ordered again tonight. After just losing a loved one and returning home from out of the city we were so incredibly disappointed to have our order so screwed up! The steak sandwich we ordered without cheese because of an allergy, came smothered in mayonaise which is not even listed as an ingredient. Luckily we caught this and had to sit for 20min for a new sandwich while the rest of our food got cold and the staff ate the sandwich that was made incorrectly in front of the patrons!!! This was such terrible service we will never return! No offer of a refund, discount, nothing! Do not waste your time!

This is the best pizza in Kirkland that my boyfriend and I have had. Deliciousssss. The garlic crust is SO good, you bite into little chunks of garlic :) The crust is chewy but not too doughy and is crispy but not too much. Good cheese, good dough, okay sauce. Very good! We got a large half pepp half cheese garlic crust pizza, whole ceaser salad, and free bread and free cheesecake for $27 before tip.

I was disappointed the last two times I've been to Romio's. One time I ordered a starter salad that was supposed to have "mixed greens" in it. It didn't, it had the cheap shredded iceburg lettuce. As a salad? Yuck. That's definitely not "mixed greens". When I hear "mixed greens", I think of romaine, arugula, spinach, etc. Something that is more nutrient-rich than iceburg lettuce. The other time I went I ordered a "Grilled Tuskany" (yes, that's really how it's spelled on the menu) foccacia sandwich. It had pesto (check) and fresh mozzarella (check). It was supposed to have prociutto, but the meat on there was some thick-cut stuff that more resembled another cut of a pig than prociutto. And it was supposed to have "mixed greens". Guess what was on there instead? Yup, you guessed it: iceburg lettuce. The iceburg lettuce wilted and became slimey very fast in the hot foccacia sandwich. I actually ordered that sandwich specifically so I could get some nutrients from the mixed greens, but I should've learned from the last time I went there. I don't know if Romio's just doesn't understand what "mixed greens" are or if they're trying to save a few bucks by using the cheap shredded iceburg lettuce in place of the better stuff, but I wish they'd advertise it correctly on their menu. I'll still return for their delicious chicken parmesean sandwich and minestrone soup, but not for anything having to do with "mixed greens".

Ate here on a weekday for dinner for the first time and I was impressed. The waiter was very friendly and did not rush us at all nor ignore us so the pace of the meal was great. I ordered the pesto penne with chicken. For the price and portion size it was a good value around $11. It came with salad and a couple of bread slices which were both tasty. We had a very pleasant experience at this location and would come here again.

The pizza is above average. I only have one complaint. The first time I ordered a delivery they entered my address wrong and I have tried to correct it on the next 2 orders but to no avail. The last time the driver wanted to argue with me about my address "I know that isn't my address, that's not what I told them, thank you for figuring it out but if you want a tip don't try to berate me about it, just hand me the pie." So I will never order another delivery.

Pizza was okay, until one day I ordered a half cheese-half mushroom. There were barely any mushrooms on that half! I called the waitress over, who apologized, then disappeared into the back. I heard her explaining my complaint to the pizza cook. Then nothing. No one scurrying over to make things right. No offers to add more mushrooms or a discount on the next pizza. Just total silence. Romio's obviously doesn't care about the quality of their food or the satisfaction of their customers.

Yum. This is the perfect place! This is one place my boyfriend and I can agree on. I love that it delivers, even though we only live about a mile away, sometimes it's nice to just eat in the comfort of your own home! We got delivery during the snow/ice storm a few weeks ago and I was so excited to find a place that delivers that isn't just pizza or Chinese food. Boyfriend = pizza fiend. Me = greek food lover. Romio's = best of both worlds! Now my boyfriend can order a calzone with cheesy bread and I can order a greek gyro with pesto cheesy bread. Perfect. My only downside is that depending on the day you order, the gyros are made a little different. Sometimes you get a few raw onions, other days you get a heap of grilled onions. I prefer the latter, but the meat and feta are always delicious! Now if only they would deliver some cold beers!

DO NOT GO THERE ON A TUESDAY! Sure, kids eat free but there is also the most horrible balloon guy ever. He makes wonderful balloon animals, but will interrupt your dinner and never leave. 25 minutes to make two swords, along with countless stories of his wife and kids...ya da ya da ya da, on and on and on. I do like the top your own personal pizza is wonderful, just stay away on Tuesdays.

they deliver. points for that for sure. the food was just okay. which is funny because here is a recap of the conversation that led to us ordering here for the very first time: me: ooh, let's get meatball subs. you can't really fuck up a meatball sub. boyfriend: actually, you can totally fuck up a meatball sub. so we got it anyway and you know what? you CAN fuck up a meatball sub. the offense? not enough sauce on the bread! other than that, it's nice to have a delivery option other than pizza hut.

This is my new favorite italian place, due in large part to the fact they have good gluten free options! French bread, pizza, and pasta all available in gluten free. Their marinara sauce is YUMMY. My husband who can eat gluten loves their lasagna. They have a very reasonably priced lunch menu also. Owners are greek, so the food has a richer flavoring than many italian places. Same owners also own the Factoria location in Bellevue. I've tried some of the other Romio's with different owners = not as good.

Food is great, the lunch special is a good value but in general it is a bit high priced for the service. Drinks rarely get re-filled and you'll wonder where the server is a couple times per visit. Improving service or charging less to bridge the service/cost gap would put this place over the top.

Romio's pizza is yummy! I usually order the pizza with their wheat berry crust - it's really good and less greasy than the regular crust. My brother swears by the G.A.S.P. calzone. Good eats, OK service.

The pizza of course was EXCELLENT, ordered The House Special... great combo pizza and reasonably priced! However, when I got it home the crust was a bit soggy but overall, really good. :) My friend ordered the Pesto Chicken. I, of course, tasted it! The sauce was good, but nothing to write home about and I thought the pasta was a bit overdone. :) Service was FAST but not overly friendly though. If you go, get the pizza and eat it there. :) There are coupons available at their site as well and kids eat free on certain days too. That trend is spreading fast! Yeah.

so we got the days figured out. We order when life gets busy and Sundays are the day, not that the other days are bad over all pretty good pizza, fast delivery. Friday nights usually a little under cooked.

While Bonnie and I take our pizza orders elsewhere (decent but not fantastic by any means), we decided to order Italian take out and didn't feel like the usual Olive Garden fare. Bonnie had a chicken alfredo dish, which was LOADED with cheese and actually very good, while I had the eggplant parm. Eh. The meatballs (which I paid extra for) were tiny and tasted like they were frozen and had come from a bag you pick up at the grocery store. The eggplant was sliced way too thin and got tough when reheated. Overall, though, the flavor was good and the $14 order lasted two dinners, so I wouldn't rule out Romio's when I get another craving for Italian food. The breadsticks were also tasty - nice and crispy.

Try the GASP calzone. My daughter and I ALWAYS have to order this whenever we visit. And we've never been disappointed. It's huge, so definitely not for those on a diet!

Romio oh Romio, why for out thou stay so distant so long?! So we ordered in from Romio's because well frankly we had a coupon, and even a good economy well I am cheap! I didn't expect much, especially since I have lived in Chicago and know REAL Italian....but man was a surprised! Delivery was slow so if you are starving forget it. We paid $30 bucks with tip for dinner which I thought was really high, but once we got all the food hoisted onto the counter and took inventory, I realized we had enough food for 3 meals! I got the lasagna which was awesome, he got the calazone which is bigger than my Marc Jacobs handbag! Now if that doesn't get you excited, I don't know what will! Oh boy, oh boy, I am sure glad I found something comparable to my Italian flash backs in good ol' Chicago.

This place is great, the pizza, pasta, calzones, salads, and even the balloon person. I also appreciate that if something is wrong in your order they make it right, one night she sent the driver back with a fresh pizza. This is a solid choice, GREAT service!

I used to do takeout at this place when living in Kirkland. Nothing too fancy, but portions are huge and they taste good. Cheese bread was super good and served with homemade sauce. Desert menu worth trying as well. Good chain type place to try vs. a Pizza Hut, etc

Disgustingly awful. Went there with my son and hub as we were in the neighborhood. Got there about 7:30 and it was pretty empty. There is absolutely no dine in ambience in this place for a start. It reminded me of a Georgio's or Subway. I ordered the Hot and Cold dish which was billed as 'A delicious dish with tiropeta, spanakopeta, meatballs, dolmades, feta cheese, greek olives, tomatoes, cucumbers, pepperonchini peppers and our homemade tzatziki sauce' What a disaster - the meatballs were the size of M&Ms (and just as hard) and were actually the tiny balls that they put on their pizzas. The tiropeta and spanakopeta were the same thing and they were from bought in frozen, partially cooked, soggy and greasy, the dolmades were out of a jar as were the greek olives. The Feta cheese was actually just a few crumbles. Tzatziki sauce was runny small puddle. I complained to the waitperson as the whole thing was really inedible and she had to go and get the manager. By the time she got around to coming to our table (about 15 mins) my son and husband had just about finished their very mediocre lasagna and pizza respectively. The manager seemed amazed that I would complain and told me that all restaurants bought in their Spanakopeta etc frozen, (really?), that of course they would serve the meatballs that they put on their pizza. No offer to make any adjustments or anything of that nature. I went away hungry swearing never to return.

Pizza

Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.

Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.

Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
