Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I do work in the Everett area and have eaten here a few times. Let me just say the wait staff is not great. When I called to see if I could talk to someone of authority about an incident late last week I was asked if it was Providence related. Come to find out they have given out customers first and last names off the credit card receipts to other patrons!! I will never eat here again and believe these are unethical business practices.

Pretty good. We stopped here one day after Church and it looked pretty cool inside. The service was actually pretty fast and the food was decent. It's simple breakfast food and relatively low priced. I recommend for a quick bite for breakfast.

I ate here back in 2006 durring the day its an everett caffe mainstay with fantastic fish and chips! Bring the "later" evening and the vibe changes from family to bar and grill with an allllmost anything goes attitude. I remember the place being super friendly, and the fish and chips were great, as were the martinis. I had a server and the manager help me with some decorations and pre-fix menu for a special evening and everything turned out purrrr-fect! they were thrilled and excited to help!! They also encouraged whipped cream as a dating accessory (off site of course)!!!! ummmmmm what could be better?

I love trying out new, preferably local cafes, & found myself in Everett on new years day just down the street from the Vintage Cafe. When we first went in, the place seemed pretty nice. The decor was pleasant, it was nicely air, & the waitstaff, while inexperienced since it was new years, was friendly & helpful. The original intent had been pancakes, but after consideration my lady ordered a Monte Cristo, & I ordered a burger. Sadly the food did not live up to the atmosphere. The Monte was not soaked in eggwash on all sides like I'm familiar with, but was done as more of a french toast sandwich with the individual slices of bread having been toasted. The sliced meats were uninspiring. The burger was just shy of burnt; albeit the bun was good.. In both cases the fries were OK, but kinda dry like they'd sat in the pan then been reheated with a quick dip in the oil before serving. With this as our example we didn't order desert. Overall, if I'm in the area I may stop in for a cup of coffee (the coffee was good), but that's about it. 2 stars for pleasant atmosphere, & an earnest waitress.

Really good food and service. Great french dip! Decor and atmosphere is a bit dull but the good service, decent food, and good prices has brought us back several times.

We were really excited to try this place out because we had extra time before a meeting, and finding free parking on the street Wednesday was a breeze. I like that they have 1/2 sizes and smaller portions of their breakfast items, so you can eat a normal-sized plate of eggs, sausage, and toast, without feeling too guilty afterwards. The best part of this place is the building & the interior inside. Aside from that, they serve standard breakfast food. The waitress let us take coffee to go!

Bland, overpriced breakfast and lousy service. There were maybe four other people in the restaurant, all of whom had already been served, and our food took ages. The waitress talked to a guy at the bar the whole time and completely ignored us. When our food came out, it was barely warm. Rubbery eggs, the worst "home fries" I've ever tasted. Had to douse everything in hot sauce/salt and pepper. Waitress was completely unprofessional while talking to the customer at the bar-- dropped the f-bomb several times. Will not be going back.

I have been here a few times, and have no complaints whatsoever. Good location, food, prices, service and hours. No WOW factor about anything, really, which made it take a while for me to realize how much I enjoy the place. It is pretty laid back and solid, though. I recommend it, especially if you need a place in North Everett that's open on a Sunday.

I liked it here. My chicken sandwich doesn't really stand out in any way and it would have been the same thing had i ordered it at a chili's, but the bartenders were both friendly and I enjoyed the ambiance. I loved that the bartender asked if I'd like the TV turned on instead of just turning it on. It's the little things that make a place.

To begin I would like to paraphrase the great Morimoto and say that "the food here has yet reach a level in which to serve a human being". The place was dingy and dirty which is a shame cause it could be a cute looking little bistro. Our waitress had some sort of stick up her butt and she was borderline rude. It's like she knew the minimum level of niceness she has to reach not to get fired ( If it were my restaurant I would have fired her a**). No hello, no welcome, no eye contact no smile. She hates her job and you can tell. My husband and I both ordered the eggs Benedict. The Hollandaise was gross (but it is in most places these days...seriously people it's not that hard to make), but the worst part was that our eggs were poached hard and the potatoes were stone cold. It's like they prepared the potatoes, put them on the plate and then poached the eggs for a good 15 minutes or so and then decided to serve the meal. We both returned our meal to "Princess Happiness" who seemed confused until she came to the conclusion that she'd have the cooks remake the dishes... you can't microwave egg yolks back to runny so really what choice did they have? As my husband says, its one thing to have sh*t ingredients and a good cook but when you have sh*t ingredients and a sh*t cook, well there isn't anything you can do about that situation. Our meals came back (I'm hoping with no sneezers) and the eggs were slightly runny and the potatoes slightly warmer. We're weren't going to take our chances with a second return and bucked up and ate it. It's pretty bad when you can't even make your Sunday brunch special properly and even if it is sh*t, I would still like it served with a smile. I can't remember the last time I didn't tip, that's how bad it was. Just Don't go here.

The food was good and plentiful. The burger would be better with a gourmet bun. The waitresses personal conversations were very distracting. We were one of two tables with customers so the place was quite and their conversation was crystal clear. What really was too much for me was when both waitresses went outside to smoke!

We have eaten here a few times for dinner. Definitely hit or miss. We came on a busy night of a silvertips game and the atmosphere was awesome. Food was great "Steak Oscar" and for under $10 with desert. Then we went again a few weeks later, different waitress, middle off the week, and it was terrible. We both had some cheesy chicken tortellini, disgusting! The chicken was dried out and looked old maybe reheated leftovers from the night before. The sauce was terrible, flavorless and runny, worse than a cheap microwave tv dinner. I was half tempted to spit it out and leave. I really don't know if we'll ever go back, if we do, I will not eat that again.

My boyfriend and I stopped in here for a quick bite and a few Bloody Mary's on a Tuesday afternoon. The bartender/server was atrocious from the beginning by literally snatching our I.D.s from us and making us feel completely stereotyped (we are a bi racial couple). We live in Seattle and had an early afternoon appointment in the area and wanted to explore there after. We left before we placed any sort of an order due to her rudeness and poor service.

After having eaten at the Vintage Cafe hundreds of times, you would think that I would already have written a revue, but here goes the first. The Vintage Cafe, located in an 1893 building in downtown Everett represents "value" dining .... something lacking in most establishments. They buy good quality ingredients for their chosen home-style menu, cook the dishes tastefully and serve adequate portions at affordable prices. The wait staff is attentive and kind, and the cooks are trained to emulate the head chef, who has been with the Vintage for over 20 years. What more is there to say? The Vintage is a comfortable place for meetings, coffee, lunch, and dinner; they aim to please and do so, using an extensive knowledge of the business that dates back some 40 years. I guess that I will eat there a few hundred more times.

We love going to the vintage!! Yummy breakfast and great prices! Last week when we were there for dinner they had half price bottles of wine.. only 10 $$ crazy cheap!!

If there is an ability to select no stars, I would! In the word of the comic book guy from the Simpson's" WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER!" I jest not ... I walk into Vintage and it's a seat yourself kind of place. Albeit the old world decor and antiques around the place make it a lovely atmosphere. It took 10 minutes before the waitress acknowledged us. After receiving our menus we decided on an appetizer and 3 meals with beverages. Our appetizer was spinach and artichoke dip 4.95 .... WHAT A RIP OFF not only was it barely tepid there was maybe 7 stale "handmade" chips on the plate and the dip came in a dish your sauce should come in, not your appetizer. Our meals came about 15 20 minutes after that. There was a minimal amount of stale fries on the plate. Someone should inform the cook that it is no no to cook with warming lights ... joking ... Point is my food wasn't even warm. My daughter also never received her ice cream with her meal. The entire selling point for her might i add . Our waitress took 20 minutes to give us our check ... Vintage cafe was a complete waste of my time and money. .... Still looking for that north Everett gem I am currently trying to contact the very elusive Managers at this moment i will update with info as soon as i contact them

This place is Vintage, that's fo sho. I had the oppurtunity to eat at this Restraunt with a couple of friends. To start the service was slow, but it was, as our server noted, because she was working alone and had a huge party in the banquet room as well as our table and a couple of others. My thing is, the Restraunt owner or manager should have set her up with some help. Service was dreadfully slow. Then we ordered our food. This came out with decent timing, considering the circumstances. I ordered the breaded veal dish. It was not to bad. The dish came with veggies and garlic mashed taters. Then we were able to choose dessert. I can't remember exactly what I had, but I do remember my bill. For around $12, I recieved a three course meal. Not bad on the prices.

My wife and myself visited The Vintage Cafe today and as we English say, it was as sound as a pound. On a chilly day it was nice and warm in there, the decor of the place was great (very moody) and first impressions were that it looked fine. It was very clean! The waitress was quick to bring the menus and a glass of water, and she was equally quick serving the food.....which was excellent. It was very reasonably priced, it was cooked well, and to read some of the comments on here you wonder what these people expect. For goodness sake, it isn't The Ritz, it doesn't charge silly prices, it's a warm and welcoming place, with friendly staff and that serves good food. Definitely worth a visit, unless you're a dining out snob that is. We will definitely be back.

Was downtown and decided to grab lunch. The marquee said comfort food, so figured should be good. The place was empty at noon on a weekday. This is in the downtown area. Should have tipped me off. I ordered the Ruben sandwich. It wasn't brisket corned beef. They had used tri-tip and cooked it in a corned beef pickling spice. It was dry and tasteless. Certainly the texture was not good. The server was polite, and sort of knew the menu. Skip this place.

I have never had good service at Vintage nor have I ever had a meal that I was pleased with. The food is bland and the presentation is never anything spectacular. I went in last Sat to meet a friend (after I swore I would never go to Vintage again). The mimosa I ordered was about 4 oz total of beverage and they charged me $6.95. When I addressed the price the bartender said I should have asked for the rest of the bottle. When I responded that I did not know there were free refills she told me I was being very rude. This place is a joke. Not to mention the bartender continuously butting into the conversation my friends and I were having. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

  • Todd P.

I was killing some time and spent a few hours here in the morning. It's a cool older building and the interior was clean, and the waitress friendly. However the menu and the guy cooking needs some serious help. The presentation is bland as well as the food. It's as if there is no pride taken and it's a matter of throwing something on a plate and taking your money. Maybe it's just hard finding good help but with all of the great restaurants around it's hard to imagine something so lifeless as this. The presentation and quality was something I would expect at a hospital cafeteria. The Chicken Plus salad I had was all iceburg lettuce - some shredded cheddar cheese - a few bacon bits - two wedges of tomato - and a tiny portion of what looked like microwaved chicken breast. It was horrible, and most of the salads on the menu looked to have the same basic ingredients other than the meat. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone that is anything but extremely hungry and has low standards. If you're going to meet someone for a drink or cup of coffee then I would say you're going to enjoy the atmosphere.

Price is nice. About 7-8 bucks. You can get a special for about 5.75 or whatever. They do a pretty good job with the poached eggs. Bloody Mary is nice and stout.

Took my Son, Daughter-in-law and my two Grandkids to dinner after my Grandson's Little League game. Not being familiar with Everett we chanced on the Vintage Cafe....the worst dining experience ever! Service to take our order was slow, my wife's coffee was lukewarm and the calamari was cold. After waiting one hour for our dinners we walked out. I can not fathom a business offering no service, such as this, remaining in business long. Thumbs down!!!!! Robert

This place was not that great... I've experienced better by far... I got the shrimp salad and it was super soggy and gross actually. Not a fan. My mom didn't like her fish and chips wither. The service was fine and the vibe was okay.. food was blahhhhh.

This is a solid breakfast joint in a cool old building centrally located in downtown Everett. The coffee is average, the service is average and the menu is average.

My husband was stationed out here for a few months before I drove out and he'd comment on this place as a favorite of his. When I finally made it out here we went. This place is gorgeous. I love the look, and the amazing old photographs. The service was decent, not the best but I've had worse. The first time we went there the waitress completely bombed my order, don't know what happened but luckily I was okay with what I got. The second time we went there everything was perfect, and the food was still good. When my parents came out they wanted breakfast but didn't want a busy, big place so I took them there. My father can be a picky man but we all found things to try and we were all very pleased. I've never been in there when it was packed or even 'really' busy but it seems to have a steady influx of customers. I'm sure we'll go back a few more times this year.

  • Aubrey P.

Went to Vintage Cafe on a Saturday morning, they where NOT busy at all... I had the Open faced Reuban, which was with their 'made from scratch' corned beef. The flavor was good, however I didn't care much for the thicker cut corned beef. (I like my Reuban's with your a typical deli cut meet.) The fries where good, the service was OK for them being so empty.

  • Craig N.

The food is alright for your standard pub grub with affordable prices. Its more like a steal...they have a daily specials which are really cheap ($5 to $6). The food isn't amazing (again it's your pub food), and the portions are acceptable (not too little that you are hungry but not too much that you are bloated). I think the selling point on this place is the building itself. It truly is vintage with old school tables and chairs, brick walls, and antiques. It's only a two star in my mind but I still go there because of the affordable prices. I'm sure if the food was a tad better, it would easily be a 3 star.

My boyfriend and I tried this place out for a late lunch. Server was very kind and helpful; topped off our water frequently. Food was delicious! All in all our experience was very good. I was told by a friend not to come here for breakfast though.....

  • Dave O.

Tried this place out on a Saturday morning 2 weeks ago. Breakfast for 2. They had only 5 other customers at the time. The old saying that you "can't screw up breakfast" isn't true here. Order was wrong. Poached eggs were hard boiled. Drinks were wrong. Waitress was clueless. Toast was not toasted. Service was slow. Prices very steep. Wish it was still the Cave Tavern.

This place has good days and bad. It's really hit or miss. I've had wonderful breakfast and some not so good ones. Service is unpredictable. Good luck

Had an appointment in Everett tied this place. The building is beautiful with old brick and large windows but that's about the only redeeming factor but the decor was 1 rock and roll poster away from Applebee's.. The waitress was overwhelmed with 6 people in the place. 2 items we ordered they didn't have in stock . We had the fish and chips and they were adequate in portion. I wish i had a pithy statement to sum it all up but like this place i came up lacking.

    (2)
  • Jenni W.

The breakfast is delicious! I had the two egg breakfast with skillet potatoes and it was great! My dining companion had the monte cristo sandwich and it was not very tasty at all. A little pricey for what you get.

  • Najah Z.

I had a really good time with some friends at the cafe. The food was pretty good. The prices were decent I got a full entree plus salad and desert for about $11. The service was on snail mode. Other than that I plan to go back to the neighborhood spot.

I enjoy the atmosphere at Vintage Cafe. The prices are decent and food has always been good too. I have gone for breakfast twice and ordered toast, eggs and bacon. Coffee too. I was pleased. Love the decor there. :)

Food was over priced and the portions were unbelievably small for 9.95 i got a burger and like 8 frys it was not worth it at all.

  • Lei W.

I love this place. The food is good (standard pub fare/comfort food, I've always found it delicious), child and family friendly and my service has always been prompt and courteous. I love the decor, the interior is just gorgeous. This is a great place to have a nice, relaxing meal with your kids or even just to hang out with your grown up friends!

    (4)
  • Tanaya B.

I really want to give this more stars but their food is just hit and miss sometimes. I love the atmosphere and building. Their vintage drinks are really good. I honestly wish they would pursue turning it into a vintage pub as it honestly has 5 star potential just need to either work on making their food better and consistent or turn it into a bar.

    (3)
  • Dorians R.

The foods ok. Menus pretty basic. Service is crap. Avoid this place, very amateur. Staff is very slow. The manager is also the chef. Which means he cannot possibly see how shitty his staff is. Place has potential but is lacking leadership.

  • Starla T.

We love going to The Vintage when we just want to hang out and relax. It is dimly lit and always playing some sort of music but not too loud. They have down home cafe food. Don't expect a top of the line steak and lobster here! They have great burgers, chicken sandwiches and cheese fries! We love the homemade Mulligan stew! Their prices are great. The kids love to share their Alfredo pizza with pepperoni. We have never had our food undercooked! The service sometimes gets a little slow when they get really busy but you can get something if you need it just speak up! They don't hire tons of people so if you come in the middle of the lunch or dinner rush it may get a little slow but we have always had our glasses filled! And we are fine with not having somebody over our shoulders the entire time! They don't mind you sitting and having coffee! It is a relaxed down-home style cafe where you can kick off your shoes and visit while enjoying a great breakfast (my dads' fave!) or burger! I also want to mention they always find a place for my mom in her power wheelchair and work around her which is sometimes hard in other establishments.

Love this place! My friend who moved to Everett introduced me to this little "hole in the wall" that looks completely unassuming from the outside, with an old-time sign that looks like it's seen better days outside (but once you try it, it definitely adds to the charm!). It's a fantastic brunch spot because their breakfast is fabulous. I really miss Cracker Barrel since I moved here, and IHOP/Dennys are just a rip off. But this place has more home-cooked style breakfast like Cracker Barrel. Also: try their vintage french toast. Seriously. DO it. It's amazing. I haven't been in for lunch/dinner but I do want to try the chicken fried steak sometime soon. All these country staples that are so rare up here in hipster town, haha. :) The inside is so cute! I just love it. Definitely vintage with mood lighting, brick walls, vintage looking seating, and an adorably elegant bathroom. The staff can be pretty quick-and-dirty, sometimes coming off as a little bristly, especially when it's busy, but they are never blatantly rude, and they always do a great job of getting orders right and being accommodating. Definitely recommend trying it yourself if you like the country-style breakfast and hidden downtown gems!

  • Sheri F.

If you want to eat at IHOP but with the feel of a dirty 1930's bar, come to The Vintage. Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, the couple of times I came in were solely due to convenience and not because I was desiring their food. Dreadful, depressing furniture, old photographs, and a really good cleaning and dusting that needs to happen greets you. Food: 2 Ambiance: 0 Service: 2 Parking: 2

  • Jeff B.

Good stew and sandwiches, but the service is very iffy on busy weekends. The chicken sandwich is huge and delicious and it came with stew on the side instead of fries which made me happy. The Ruben is also a good buy, very moist and tender with flavor to go around.

Traditional American food to go with a history lesson. Founded in 1976, this restaurant transports you back to a time when Henry "Scoop" Jackson was Senator, Prohibition was a lingering memory, and the Seattle Kingdome opened to a crowd of 54,000. The lighting here, decor and historic Everett photos offer nostalgia and a conversation piece. Breakfast, lunch and dinner fare. 1/2 price bottles of wine every Tuesday from 4-close.

I really love this place. My husband and I stop here often before he goes to work, since it is so close. It's a really cute cafe in downtown Everett, and the staff is always so sweet and nice, even when they are busy. The food is really good as well, I've tried almost everything! I'm working on finishing the list, haha. I would recommend.

FABULOUS FOOD, AWESOME SERVICE -if you are a regular they spoil the crap out of you! If you aren't- give them 5 minutes- you will feel like family!! We have eaten everything on the menu from a grilled burger patty to breakfast to their amazing salads- I LOVE AND ADORE the FISH N CHIPS!!!! Thanks Vintage!!!!! You guys rock!

  • Brady R.

I'm torn between giving it 3 stars or 4 stars. The food is great, Their salads are very tasty and they put just the right amount of dressing on them. The prices are very reasonable and the drinks are great. The reason I only give 3 stars is single handedly because of the poor service. Waitresses are very short with us every time we have gone here and they look annoyed any time there is a request for anything. Does not have a very friendly vibe to it. It looks like other reviewers seem to think the service is great if you are a regular. If that is the case, I certainly don't get that vibe.

Classic wood bar with high chairs on one side, tables/chairs on the other. Exposed brick and several high windows make up the east wall. The front of the restaurant is all windows - nice natural lighting. I came in at 2:00 pm on a Thursday afternoon - not very busy but several tables were occupied. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger from the menu - which included breakfast and dinner choices. The coffee was very good, as was the burger which came with L, T, O, P and a side (I chose beef barley soup). The waitress was attentive and took care of all the customers in a friendly manner. 20s jazz (I'm guessing) played softly, which accentuated the pleasant mid afternoon ambiance. This may have been affected by the sun - the previous two days were cloudy and rainy, while today was clear, not only providing some welcome brightness but some amazing vistas of Puget Sound, distant islands and dramatic clouds. The food, atmosphere and timing made this a most enjoyable lunch. I would come back without hesitation and recommend the Vintage Cafe to any hungry visitor!

This place has horrible service. We went in on Easter Sunday at 930am with our 2 kids. We took a table and waited 10 minutes without a single acknowledgement of either waitress. One of them made eye contact with me and walked away. Horrible!

  • Christina S.

I have been here a few times. The first time I went with a large group of people, the place was practically empty. There were only two other tables with people there at the same time. Our waitress must have been new, she spilled two glasses of water, and fumbled up the order. Three of us ordered their fish n' chips, my order was done perfect, but the other two orders were burnt. The fish was black on one side, conveniently the side that was flipped down onto the fries. That was disappointing. The second time I went there I went with one other person. I had French Toast and it was good. A little soggy, but it tasted good. The biggest problem I had with the place, both times I went there, was the smell. It has a very soggy, mildew like smell. Overall, I would say this place was ok. I'd eat there if other people wanted to go, but I wouldn't actively go there on my own.

Great 90s food I wish the plates had balloons and neon streamers on it. Both soups were fantastic and the Caesar salad was crunchy and delicious. The Ruben was rad and the chicken strips were totally tubular. The atmosphere is awesome as well it's like a Time Machine.

I was disappointed to be so disappointed by this restaurant! We'd been driving by for months and finally made it in. The décor was cute and they seemed to have plenty of customers. Probably too many as it seemed the wait staff were pretty understaffed. Speaking of the wait staff, not great. It was obvious they were busy but there was absolutely no pleasantry, none, not even an attempt. Our waitress walked past us several times without a glance (I think she was hoping we'd give up and leave) then finally shot a half glare that it would be a while, then proceeded to ignore us for another 15 minutes or so. She finally came to the table and handed us some menus without a smile and said she'd be back. which she eventually did. Orders were taken with a quick and harsh demeanor and she walked off again. Food took ages. I ordered biscuits & gravy with eggs on the side over easy, hubby ordered a mushroom cheese omelette and our 2 year old got a children's plate of pancakes, sausage & scrambled eggs. All of poor quality, all bland, highly disappointing after waiting so long and dealing with poor service. Took forever to get our check, then forever again for her to come back to take our card even though I had it in my hand for her when she dropped off the check and turned around without a word. She proceeded to bus tables for a while as we sat there staring at her with the card protruding as obviously as humanly possible for her to see. It's doubtful we will return. Poor food. Poor service. Maybe they are better for lunch or dinner but they need to work on some customer service.

We arrived too early for the Tuesday discount, but didn't mind paying full price. The building is all of the best of vintage: cozy and welcoming. Our meals were nicely done. Service was very good. Eating at Vintage Cafe added to an enjoyable day off. We look forward to a return visit next time we're in Everett.

A friend and I have visited this restaurant several times and I have always raved about the breakfast menu and service to my wife. Today, July 25, 2015, my wife and I stopped by the Vintage Cafe to have breakfast. As we entered the restaurant we saw the sign to "Seat Yourself." My wife asked if there was a special section we needed to sit in and the waitress said, "No." So we sat at a table near the front door of the restaurant where a couple of tables were occupied by another couple. None of the waitresses came by to say "Good Morning" or offered us a glass of water, menu or a cup of coffee. They did come by us to bus a table near us but did not acknowledge us sitting there waiting...they just walked by. Just then an older couple came into the restaurant, chatted with the two waitresses and found a table for two. I noticed one of the waitresses pouring a couple of glasses of water, grabbed two menus and headed out from behind the counter toward us. I thought she was finally bringing us a menu and water. Boy was I wrong. She walked by us and served the couple that just came and sat at the table near the window. The waitress walked by us again without acknowledging us. At that point our wait time was pushing 10 or 11 minutes. I got up, told my wife that we were leaving and simply walked out of the Vintage Cafe without anyone ever acknowledging us or serving us. I will never walk through the door of that restaurant ever again. I am a teacher, an educator of color, my wife is Norwegian and I am active in the Hawaiian community, my school district and the community where I live but today, I felt like I was back in the 1960's.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch after going to the art gallery up the street. We were pleasantly surprised. The restaurant has a warm, cozy atmosphere, with great artwork and vintage pieces decorating the place. We sat at our table, and were greeted by out waitress who was friendly and brought us our drinks. We ordered our food, I had the chicken sandwich ($8.95). When we got our food, it looked great, and tasted great too! The portions were generous for the price. We were very pleased with our experience and will likely be back to try their 3 course dinner (looks like a great deal at only around $12 per person). Try it out if you're walking around downtown Everett!

I love The Vintage Cafe on Hewitt in Everett. Between Colby & Hoyt. I go there often for lunch. I too like the decor, menu, staff and the food always taste so delicious. The wait staff, and cooks are all very nice. See you week after week. :)

The cornflake encrusted French toast was one of the best versions I've ever had. Crunchy on top, moist and delicate in the center, battered with cinnamon egg dip. Mm mm mm. It was that good. Bacon done to perfection. Crispy, not burned and dried out.

'Cafe' seems like a misnomer here at the Vintage Cafe. It is not a place for coffee and reading a book; maybe more of a place to have a beer and chat with friends. I stopped in with family for lunch and we had a good experience: the server was flaky and forgetful but attentive. The menu was typical pub food, and the prices were appropriate. If you're downtown Everett, I recommend the Vintage Cafe for a beer & burger.

my son had the kids meal and shared with me the country fried steak, my two daughters and the wife had the hungry man special we would of had a box to take home but we force to finish because we couldn't take a box because we were going to the Fourth of July parade everything was delicious and was very flavorful we will definitely be coming back!!!

Delicious! Love the vintage jazz music, the nice service, and unique venue. It has the feel of a tavern/pub/mom's house for introverts and tamer people. :) All the food, despite its simple appearance, is fantastic. It is a very cozy place, nice for a casual date or relaxing with good company.

No room on the grill? I'm not sure if we are still serving breakfast? Thought the menu said breakfast served all day. I have been here before and the food wasn't bad but if this is the service that I should expect from now on I will go else where. Dear owner please train your staff, tell them the customer service expectations or find better wait staff. The future of your business depends on it.

A nice little slice of local historical ambience. Casual and comfortable. The menu is priced jussst right. Food is good . . . not trendy or upscale but I wouldn't want or expect that. I often get the Vintage Scramble for breakfast (cause it last me all day) or the Chicken Dip for lunch. Also a great back room for meetings that is separated from the dining room. It's a great Everett 'fixture' and a worthwhile place to meet or eat. The ability to phone in a to-go order also gets me salivating.

I was recommended there by a business acquaintance and this is one I really should have ignored! Although the service was quite good the food is subpar at best. Breakfast is right on line with Denny's at a much higher price. And as far as atmosphere if you enjoy watching management openly chastising the wait staff this place is for you. My wife was so upset by the outlandish display of the manager she was in tears. There are so many better places to dine in Everett! Save your hard earned $$ for a better place. Never again for us!! My only wish is I could give it zero stars! One is way too high!!

I don't understand how this place isn't packed. Stiff drinks & great food. The ambiance is rad and the prices are fair. If this place was in Seattle, there'd be a wait out the door.

This place is super cute inside, I really liked it. Unfortunately, my pancakes arrived raw inside and had to be sent back, and my friend's egg wasn't cooked right. They still charged me for the meal even though my friends were almost done by the time I'd gotten there, but it's a cute place and if they cooked the food longer it would be good.

I've been here a few times, food is usually pretty good, and a good deal for the price. They've got smaller portions for when I'm feeling fat and bigger portions for when I'm really hungry (after church!). Service is definitely sub par, the simplest thing you can do is refill my water without me asking, come on people... and a smile would be nice. You're lucky your food is good, else I would skip ya.

After passing this place a ton of times, I finally decided to try it. The reviews were mixed so I had to find out for myself. The building itself is a treat, knowing it was around for so long. The food though was just ok. I always wanted to try a Monte Cristo sandwich so that is what I ordered. Instead of doing it like so many other places (so I have been told), they use french toast as the bread. The sandwich was good, fries were crisp. Service was fine but I am not sure that I am rushing back.

A delicious meal with great service. The ambiance is comfortable and historic. The prices were very reasonable for the portions provided. We'll be back!

Honestly there really isn't anything note able about this place. Having 14 years of customer service I think this place needs a better staff. Obviously to busy talking to a customer at the bar(breakfast time) to take anyone their check in a timely manner. Husband and I had the sirloin and eggs... I rather not have to be forced to use A1 on all my food to have any flavor. Advice? Go to Ihop, better service and food with flavor.

The Vintage Cafe is a homestyle cafe in the core of Everett. They serve old fashioned meals like pot roast, liver and onions, french dips and patty melts. Breakfast is biscuits and gravy, omelets and scrambles. When my boyfriend and I were disappointed that the Mermaid was closed for the holidays, we came here for breakfast. I had biscuits and gravy, with a pancake, he had an omelet with has browns. While the service was friendly, it wasn't enough to make up for the terrible food. The gravy was over thickened, had an uncooked flour flavor to it, and was highlighted with the taste of bacon grease. The potatoes were half cooked, a little hard in the center, but with crispy edges. I think my pancakes were a mix. Dinner is better. They serve an old fashioned "meal". Meaning you get soup or salad, your entree, a side plus dessert. I've had the fish and chips, and the silvertips burger. Both times it was satisfactory, and service was great, ensuring my iced tea was never empty. In the end, I'd skip it for breakfast at 1 star, but would go back for dinner and rate it at 3 stars.

Good reliable breakfast. Nothing outstanding but I really appreciate the fact that they have breakfast options that fulfill the needs of many types of appetites. My go to breakfast is the mini maple that consists of two small pancakes, one egg and two slices of bacon. The prices are fair and the no complaints about the service. The interior is cool with high ceilings and brick walls, Lot's of Everett nostalgia hanging on the walls. It's a good family restaurant, but it still has a nice bar if that's your thing. Something for everyone. One note do not sit towards the bathrooms as they wreak of an over abundance of faux cinnamon smell.

I love our vintage brick buildings in downtown Evereett, and the Vintage Cafe does a great job of preserving the historic feel of their place. From the exposed brick to the stained glass windows, the antique furniture and photos of other historic properties on the walls -- the ambience they create is warm and cozy. They serve comfort food, and I know I can always get a good meal here, whether breakfast, lunch or dinner. I've always been greeted and served pleasantly here. I routinely bring friends and family here, and have never been disappointed. Thanks, Vintage!

Breakfast was pretty good. I found the chicken fried steak to be a bit better than average. My wife's corn flakes encrusted french toast was quite tasty, but withou the eggs meat add-on it proved to be a very light breakfast. Now I tend to dislike having to respond to the question "How was everything?" so my feelings weren't hurt when It wasn't asked. I was a little peeved however when the cashier didn't bother to say thank you. Even an insincere thank you would have been appreciated.

I've eaten here a couple other times and the food is sub par. A friend and I went in for lunch today and right off the bat two tables were complaing about simple things like cold coffee and "weird tasting water". The waitress was nice but seemed frantic. There was a lot of crashing and banging coming from behind the bar to the point where I jumped. We ordered two sodas and two Shimp Louie's. The waitress came back and informed us that their was going to be no eggs on our salads because "the eggs were bad". So yes it will be ok if they were not added. We got the salads and they were pretty large, which was fine. Kind of a boring salad shimp was a little tough and its all iceberg. All around the atmosphere felt tense and uncomfortable. There are plenty of good restuarants on hewitt, I just don't think this is one of them.

There was absolutely nothing special at all about the breakfast here. My husband got the biscuits and gravy, and the gravy was WAAAAAYY too salty. Plus the service was very slow even though there were only a few people in there at 11:30 on a Saturday. Probably won't go back.

Biscuits and gravy were so good! The gravy was thick without being mucousy, and stayed warm. I deeply dislike cold snot gravy on my biscuits. The biscuits themselves were a little too dry, but that's way better than too moist-I also deeply dislike mushy biscuits. I ordered a side of sausage and got four links! What?! Prices are reasonable. I will definitely return here. Oh, yeah: they make Mulligan Stew. I don't really know what that is, but it makes me think of Shel Silverstein's poetry, and that makes this an asset in my book.

I was a little worried when we walked in for dinner and there were only two other patrons. The waitress told us the owners are still trying to build up business after converting it from a bar, and it tends be much busier when there are events going on downtown. There were two of us eating and we both started with a green salad - fresh, crisp, what we were expecting. I had a burger and fries, and my friend had the French Dip. We both enjoyed our meals, it was good food for a good price. The historic building is fun and the waitress was prompt and friendly. I'll be back. On evenings and weekends there is free parking at the garage across the street or on the street.

I was surprised at so many bad reviews. Have eaten here many times, but of course I have never ordered breakfast! The pot roast is amazing with gravy like my mom always made! The fish and chips are yummy and my kids always get the chicken strips with French fries. I do not know if they are making this stuff fresh but we always enjoy it. We have always found the staff quite laid back and easy going! Sorry to hear breakfast is so bad highly recommend the comfort food!!
