Farrelli’s Wood Fire Pizza Menu

Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

I have been here a few times since coming to WA, and I really cannot say anything bad about the place. The staff is friendly and attentive. The restaurant has ample seating and is very clean. The pizza is good, and they have some nice happy hour specials including discount well drinks, and food items. The crust is my favorite part of the pizza. It is thin and crispy, but not too crispy, and is prepared on a wood fire oven, that you can see when you are in the dining area. They also offer fresh parmesan when they bring out your pizza. None of the dry, jarred stuff you get at other pizza places. They have tons of beers on tap, and several TVs that show sports. This is a nice place to go out for pizza, and a few beers. A Family atmosphere mixed with sports bar atmosphere makes Farrelli's awesome.

Horrible to say the least Came in an sat on the bar side of the restaurant and there were only 2 tables... Our party of 3 and one party of 8. We ordered (Mac n cheese and 2 salads) round of soda. 38 min later no food, no soda refills... Waitress MIA Finally had to leave to get back to work and get the food to go, and we're told that they are finishing up our salad. Worst part was that looking into the kitchen 4 people were standing around doing nothing.

I want to like this place, I truly do. We moved to DuPont about a year ago and have tried Farrelli's about 5 times. This last time was because the inlaws were in town and wanted to try it. Oookay, but you asked for it. As usual, the service was slow. Like....so, incredibly slow. It's okay, I had good company, but the kids nearly pooped themselves with the wait time. The servers always seem caught off guard when asked questions about their menu. For example, one server accidentally brought my husband sweetened tea, and when our main server came back and we told her, she said (and I quote), "All we have is unsweetened tea, so that's impossible." Then she goes back to discover, yes! Farrelli's does, in fact, serve sweetened and unsweetened tea. My favorite of the night was when we asked what the Buttered Rum drink was made with. Our server came back after checking and said, "My manager said it's an alcoholic drink." .........You don't say? I'm pretty sure our server was drunk. Or brand new. Probably both. The problem is that we get a different version of drunken-new server every time we go in there. The crappiest thing is that this place is way too expensive for the level of awesomeness they claim. Oh Farrelli's I want to like you, but you suck.

Got all excited about a GF pizza while traveling through and called to place an order. The person who took my order was happy and enthusiastic. Very cheerful. Said "20 minutes". 20 minutes later I walked into customer service hell. "Debbie" greeted me at the register. I gave her my name and asked kindly for my pizza. She yelled across the way to another server to check if the to-go order was mine. Lucky for me, it was! Debbie asked if I wanted anything else, so I asked for a soda to-go. She pointed across the kitchen and informed me that they were "over there". I asked for a fountain soda and was told they don't have those to-go...as an older man walked by with a fountain soda in a to-go cup. I told her never mind and asked how much for my 12" gluten free pepperoni pizza with jalapeños...."$20.23". That caught me off guard, but hey. I'm starving and I really wanted it. So I gave her $21.00. She then asked if I wanted change. When I said yes, she huffed, rolled her eyes and gave the money to another server and told her to bring me some change. The next server was really nice and argued with Debbie that she didn't have any change. But figured it out anyway...after serving someone else and leaving me there to wait. The other server then brought me a portion of my change. Now normally I might walk away, but this place wasn't going to make a penny more off me. So I asked her for the rest of my change, which she went and got after serving another person and leaving me there to wait. After all that I was really looking forward to checking out my pizza. I got to the car and told my colleague about the experience and that I should have checked yelp for the reviews. I opened up the box to find what looked like cardboard covered in pizza sauce with cheese, pepperoni and a few jalapeños. The texture of the pizza was somewhere between wet cardboard and a kitchen sponge. The pepperoni was awesome. The sauce was overwhelming. I will never come back here. Because you suck at everything.

I don't really care much for the pizzas that I have ordered. But my favorite dish is the pasta with spinach & chicken, it's so yummy, a must try. Also, they are the only place in DuPont that sells root beer float & it's another reason why I go there.

Great place to stop in. We enjoyed the pizza and Caesar Salad. The restaurant is family oriented but does have a bar for the older crowd. Service is good and the beer choices are great.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this place when I was driving from Portland back home to Seattle. My husband and I thought we'd stop somewhere to wait for the traffic from a car crash to die down. I thought that there would be no where decent to eat, but I was wrong! Fratellis has a nice bar area with a pool table, great drinks and delicious pizza.

It's too bad the service here is the worst and weirdest experience I have had at a restaurant. The pizza was delicious but I wouldn't ever go back because the service was awful and it's expensive! You have been warned!

Visited in s slow Saturday afternoon memorial weekend. The place was clean and the one staff person we dealt with was very pleasant. We walked in the door and instantly went to the bar to look at the taps. The bartender seemed knowledgeable on the different beers and offered tasters when asking about a particular beer. Pizza came out in a timely manner and we were never left sitting with am empty glass. If say the pizza was good, I wouldn't right home about it but it was decent. I'd absolutely take farrelli over large pizza delivery chains.

This place is disgusting. Worst pizza ever. Worst service ever. My boyfriend and I had to seat ourselves at the bar, I had to walk over to the hostess and ask for menus and a server. Took fifteen minutes to get water. We ordered and that took an hour and a half just for the food to get to our table and come to see they got our order wrong. They literally took the pizza back, placed chicken on top of it and brought the same pizza back. It tasted like cardboard with cheese. Our server was Brad, he did the best he could and was adjusting everything for us. He wasn't the problem. He took the price of the pizza off, and gave us an extra $10.00 off. Still nonetheless, never going here ever again.

I give 2 stars because the good is ok and kereoke (s?) Is always fun. But the place was filthy, the bathroom was disgusting and just left disgusting. My party had to wait for a table in the bar wich wouldnt have been an issue except for the lone creepy guy in the back corner. He took up a table for himself and an untouched beer as he waited for his wife (?) To get off work. He sat there giving me the stank eye as i made an order and i watched him sit and glare at every dude in the bar. Dont know why management lets him in the joint in used to a better experiance from the establishment in tacoma.

$18 for a 12 inch pizza which took an hour to make from the time I called it in....ridiculous. Go to Domino's.

Good "Wood" Fire pizza. They can even do 1/2 & 1/2 pizzas. Half meat lovers for the hubby and half veggie for you. We had very nice waitress. Little pricey.

Good food...HORRIBLE SERVICE. We had heard through the grapevine that Farrelli's had great pizza, and while the pizza was satisfactory their lack of service was too disappointing. From the eye rolling to waiting FAR too long, we left feeling like we were doing a disservice to the staff by simply being there. We will never recommend this place to friends.

I've always enjoyed the service at Farrelli's but I'm not much for the food. I don't know exactly how to describe it other than not good. It's not necessarily bad but it's sort of on par with a gourmet microwave dinner. The bar area is enjoyable and karaoke is fun. They have pull tabs if that's your thing.

A MAN'S MAN Review of Farrelli's Wood Fire Pizza in Dupont, WA Food was "A-OK" and I wasn't too impress with what I got but it wasn't too bad. Appetizers are about $10 per entree and the prices start to go north for any of the meals. The food served is somewhat lacking but the service from the staff makes it up. Service was pretty good. The drinks are served strong each time. Good selection of beers. Saturday nights is pretty much karaoke night. I am not sure how long this has been going on and it is my first experience at this particular location. If your looking for some quality time with friends the karaoke and some less than talented singers can become distracting if your trying to be social. Saturday night contained a mixture of various age groups from the older generation, hipsters, military G.I.s, and the barley legal young thunder birds and cats. I believe any other nights if karaoke isn't being blasted over the speakers can be a good experience. I would definitely come here for the drinks but stop by Jack in the Crack (Jack in the Box) for some yumbo yacks with cheese afterwards. If you happened to arrive a little later in the evening you may end up at the big ol' communal table in the middle. It could be a little awkward sharing the large table with strangers if your one of the unlucky creatures to arrive but it may be an opportunity to strike up a conversation and make new drinking buddies. Just hope that person that looks kinda "off" sitting right next to you or across the table trying to catch your eyes (eye contact) isn't a serial killer looking for his next victim. The following paragraphs are for the guys but ya'll ladies might find this interesting because it surprised the heck outta me... This place has anti-slip mats at each urinal stall in the men's restroom. Pretty much these mats are placed under each standing urinal. Either two things must have happened because I have never seen anti-slip mats at a urinal stall in my life. The first... management must think that us men are nasty (which is true) and come to the conclusion that us men play swords with our man parts with each other and some how manage to miss the urinal entirely when we piss so they installed anti-slip mats at each urinal to soak up the piss or... The second... somehow for god's sake a drunken male somehow managed to slip on the piss soaked floor and landed on his a*s and somehow cracked his skull (let's not forget that he also landed on a piss soaked floor too) so management came to the conclusion that they needed to add anti-slipped mats for each urinal stall. It doesn't matter because this was very noticeable and I feel sorry for the poor soul that is responsible for the care and maintenance of these anti slipped mats. He's probably the one of the very few employees that deserves the $15 per hour wage. That person needs to be paid boo-ku! Overall, the location is in Dupont. The City of Tacoma made the top spot (woohoo) for having the most crime. Dupont, didn't make that list so it's safe to say that the City of Dupont is a safe location. Farrelli's is located on the corner but on the main street (Center St) of Dupont. There is parking along side the street but a large parking lot is available in the back. In some parts of the lot the area is poorly lit but for the most part it's not too bad. The fuzz (Dupont Police) is very active in this city so follow the speed limit at all times. Not a good idea to be tipsy and driving because you might end up in the same Dupont fish tank (jail) with the serial killer that you just met at the big ol' communal table at Farrellis. His failed conversation with you didn't work out too good earlier because you blew him off... this time he gets a second chance.

Why do people in the NW think they should take a food name from back east and start using it for other things. Farrell's have a Meatball slider. The definition of a slider is a small sandwich, typically around 3 in across, served in a bun. The term primarily refers to small hamburgers, but can also cover any small sandwich served on a slider roll. White Castle trademarked the variant "Slyder" and in my world a meat ball on garlic focaccia does not fit. Also at $7.99 for 3 meatballs - they are not cheap. Next - although I am not a sport fan - if it is on - I still get curious as to what is happening. We were seated in the bar since there was no tables in the Restaurant and I will say it is a nice bar - for a bar. :) They have TV's all around but no sound and no Closed Caption (cc) so you have no idea what they are talking about. Makes no sense to me. (on leaving I did notice they had one TV with cc). The small meatball sandwiches were OK but like I said - not cheap for bar food. We also had a small pizza and it was not that great. Slightly better than Dominos (tomato sauce on cardboard). Bread had no taste to it - not much cheese and too much tomato sauce - my opinion. Finally - the service started out OK but sort of went to the slow side. We finally told them we were done and could we have the check - at least 5 minutes late my wife turned to me and asked - did we pay and are just waiting for our credit card back. We realized we had not yet received the bill. The waitress came back with a handful of bills so instead of getting ours - she collected a bunch. One of the rules for a good waitress is when the customer is ready to go - they want to go. Start to finish of check out was 10+ minutes and that included us finally walking up and giving them our credit card for payment.

I'm sure my review would be a lot different if I was not a mom of young children. (It'd probably be 4 stars if I just came to the bar with friends during happy hour) Pro- yummy food (except that time they added pineapple to my Mexican(ish) salad- eww) Friendly service Cons- in spite of being friendly, there is almost always a mistake for what we order (little pro to go with that- they always comp the mistake though... Just would love to get our order without a mistake) The kids menu says "ask for kids dough" to play with while you wait... I'd say 3 out of 5 times they will forget and not bring some- even with a reminder or most recently asking 2 different servers for some. Nada. :( Like I said with my family, it's been a bit annoying, not quite enough to never come back, but I'd love for them to make some improvements!

The last few times I've been to Farrell's pizza the service been horrible. Any Other restaurant I would never come back again, but their pizza is to die for...

Service isn't as bad as others say. But I was here to watch bball so I wasn't on a time crunch or anything. Food has always almost been great all the other times I'd been here but this place would be a lot better if they didn't burn more than half the food we ordered tonight. Still good... Just had to pick out the burnt parts. Maybe the fire was a little too hot tonight.

Not from the area (visited from CA). I had a good time. The beers are good. Pizza was good. My server made sure I needed everything I wanted.

The first few times we dined here it was great! The last two times it hasn't been so fantastic. When we ordered for takeout our $28 dollar pizza didn't taste as good as it had before, I blamed that the fact we had ordered out. But after our most recent experience, I think it was the pizza..... During our most recent experience, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, the waitress suggested the crab dip, which we ended up sending back because it's wasn't half as good as the spinach dip. When we got our pizza which was half Margarita, half Americana. The Americana had barely any sauce and almost no cheese. The sausage was DRY DRY DRY, it tasted more like sand than anything. The Margarita was just gross. That was our mistake for not reading close enough, it tasted NOTHING like any Margarita pizza I'd ever had. If I hadn't sent back our crab dip appetizer, I would've sent back the pizza..... Although our waitress was great, and I have nothing negative to say about her, she was quick kind and attentive!

Yesterday my wife and I enjoyed lunch at Farrelli's again. It never disappoints and always makes us wonder why we don't enjoy more often. The two lovely hostesses were very welcoming, charming and professional. Our spirits already were bolstered before we even sat down. Our server was friendly and charming. She made friendly chatter and asked where from, etc. We told her we were just starting our vacation. Once again, the spaghetti was great. My wife loved the tomato cheese soup. Our drinks never neared empty. When the server presented the check, she had written, "Enjoy your vacation" and "Thank you again" at the bottom. Wow! I woould put those two hostesses up against some of the staff in most five-star restaurants.

First of all I all day I often travel to this area for work and despite telling my coworkers not to come here they always do. Do not come here if you have the normal 30-45 minutes to eat. The service here had always been slow. I have ate at ferelli's multiple times and have never stayed less than an hour. You will often wait just to be greeted by your server for about 5-10 minutes no matter how busy the place is. Order your food and you will wait a good half hour just for the food. While on the subject of food this is their one saving grace and the only reason they get two starts from me. The food is pretty good, lacking in portion, but still pretty good. It is also fairly priced. However, my recommendation is to go across the street to macnamaras where the service is much better. When I say much better I mean leaps and bounds better.

Granted, it was a Saturday night, but the overly loud karaoke dominated my experience. In addition to it being so loud that it was positively annoying from the opposite the side of the establishment, it hampered communication with the waitress. I ordered a large pizza, but received a small. The waitress never brought utensils or even a napkin. Eating pizza, I can forgo utensils, but I kind of needed napkins. The pizza was very good, though. It was difficult to enjoy with some drunk literally screaming "Rebel Yell"... Ironic. It would be easy for management to simply turn the volume of the sound system down (way down), but I guess they have a preference to the bar crowd over the dining crowd.

Recently came on a Sat afternoon around 1. Was busy, but not full and seemed to have plenty of open tables. Came with my brother who was hoping to have a better experience than previous visit. Although the pizza is good, the service is horrible. We waited about 20 min for our order to be taken... Which I guess would be ok... If then the pizza would be out quickly but it took us over an hour from the time we ordered to get our pizza. Then to make matters worse, our server never once talked to us about the delay or apologized for our wait time. Seems like if the kitchen is that backed up there should be some graciousness from someone. The pizza was good as usual. The southwest salad was awful. Do not go to this place if you have less than 2 hours for a meal. Very disappointed in the time and the lack of customer service. Will not be returning.

Saturday night karaoke at the Dupont Farrelli's is a blast! The hosts are fantastic and throw a great show. The rotation is a bit long, but that just means they attract a good crowd. I love the happy hour specials 9pm to close. The pizza is SO YUMMY! It's a perfect late night snack to share among friends. The servers are so great here and always on top of it! It can get really packed in the bar and it's hard to move around because the seating is pretty tight... but overall, this is a great Saturday night hang out.

The pizza here was delicious. There was a mixup with my salad but the Mex up did not take away from the pizza. The service was good even though we joined a large party late. I would definitely go back here when I am in town again. If you are looking for fresh pizza near JBLM, this is a good bet.

Since my last review, I have returned only 3 other times and our experience has significantly declined. Our last visit resulted in a 30 minute wait for kids meals. Service has gotten slower and typically the worst when the restaurant is mostly empty. Several times we have walked in, encountered a wait of more than 20minutes that turns into longer and eventually left without food. Today, we have been here 45 minutes, our children have finished their meals and our food just arrived, INCORRECTLY. There are only 11 seated tables in the entire place. Sadly, they also consider a wiped table as clean and ready for guests even though the floor is covered with garbage. Truly disappointing. We really only came back because we were given a gift card. And honestly, the only reason they got 2 stars is because the food is good despite the rotten customer service.

The ride back from Castle Rock on the motorcycle was very LONG and I was starving and def ready to eat some dinner and rest. I was glad we decided to sit in the bar. The waitress came over and we told her it was our first time in there so she said there were "bar specials" she showed us the appetizers and said we could get a pizza with anything on it for like $14. We agreed to get the chicken ranch one and we got the bill for like $35 for 2 sodas and the pizza. We had plenty of money on us, but that is not the point. I was tired and didn't catch it at first. I will watch the bill closely if we ever go back. The pizza was OK for me but certainly not a $25 pizza by any means. I am rating 3 stars because it was clean in there. The food would only have been a 2 star for me. Try it for the bar prices the salads looked good.

Food is decent if a bit overpriced, but service this trip was horrible. We decided to be seated outside because no one was outside, the weather was nice, and we wouldn't have to wait. I also have two small kids so it meant if one of them was upset & cried we wouldn't disrupt anyone else. We were here almost 45 min before our appetizer came out. I actually had to finally clear our appetizer plate myself and take it inside to ask about our entree before I was told it was coming out "now" and it was still two more minutes before it was brought out. Then another 40 min later, well after we're done eating and have stacked up all our dishes, we were still waiting for them to come check and see if we wanted dessert, needed to-go boxes, or wanted a bill. Completely disappointing and certainly didn't feel like our patronage was valued. Get the impression that because they're one of only a few restaurants in a town populated with a lot of military folks, that they're just used to being busy and just aren't paying attention to good service. Might change their tune if Joint Base Lewis McChord downsized and they're fighting for business... However, I will say we let them know we would not have time for dessert because of all the delays and they did comp us almost $25 and free slice of chocolate cake.

This restaurant is extremely overpriced and not worth the money. 17 bucks for a 12 inch Pizza. Who are they kidding? I don't recommend this place to anyone who places value on their wallet.

Salads aren't fresh (chicken is thawed I guess from frozen) pizza not great (husband eats it all the time said it was horrible and not just for the price) IT TAKES FOR EVER TO GET SERVICE. My three children and I came for lunch about a week ago and it took roughly 15 minutes for what I guess was the only server on at the time to come and get our drink orders. Not her fault, but they weren't extremely busy. There was a hostess on staff who was texting and could have helped her out by taking the drink order. All in all. Waste of time in my opinion.

My husband and I come here religiously. It's an amazing place for a small quiet dinner or if you want to meet at the bar with a couple of friends. We came here for the Super Bowl last year and it was a ton of fun. We also love to sit at the bar because of the games you can play and watch football games on the TV's. I just can't say enough about this place! The firestix are the bomb dot com!!

  • Hailey A.

Horrible. If I could give them no stars I would. Walked in, the place was not even remotely busy, ordered our food, and there we are waiting 45 minutes later with still no food. The waitress kept dodging us, and when I finally called her over after almost 50 minutes of waiting she just so happened to 'just' talk to the chef and said our food was coming out soon. I was in the middle of telling her we were just going to leave somewhere else because the waiting was ridiculous and before I could even finish my sentence she walked away from me.. Literally mid-sentence. I did not travel all the way from Los Angeles to get treated like this, represent your city with some respect next time and do not walk away from someone while they are talking to you. Have some respect.

Nice happy hour and the variety of taps and good pizza (try the fire sticks!!!) keep me coming back; lower rating because every time I end up walking out thinking it was the slowest service ever. With either more or more attentive wait staff I would visit more often. Chain location and the beer selection at each is unique but the food is the same across the board. No reason to shy away, but there are better.

Food is good, kids love the pizza. My favorite is their house salad, it's a really good house salad! Servers are super friendly but the service is slow. They have a curbside pickup option but don't bother. They are too busy to notice your vehicle apparently even after calling. It's not that big of deal to walk in to pick up.

Very good. Liked that they served Seattle Cider Co. Cider on happy hour. I ordered the personal size margarita pizza- great size, great price, but not really a traditional marg. can with 4 tiny leaves of basil- one on each slice. There was balsamic drizzled over the entire thing, which I don't think is traditional, and plus I don't like balsamic. Even these things considered, it was great service, and great food at just the right price.

We took a pizza to go meat lovers with pineapple it was a total of 18.00. Was not impressed with the pizza. We have been to many pizza places and I would have to say that buying little ceasers would have been the same but cheaper! However the service was great.

Just havin a quick lunch while traveling home. I found this place. I had the spaghetti and meatballs which was delectable. Lacking a bit of salt for my taste but still good. Also, no Parmesan on the table. My mom and brother said the pizza was just OK. The atmosphere was very dark. Not the best restaurant decor. I do very much appreciate the military specials they have. Great way to honor our military. Service was prompt but she came only if she was bringing us something. She didn't check on us half-way through. If I'm in DuPont again, I will probably come back.

I have been here a few times and have had a great experience every time. The cheese ravioli is excellent and a must try. I will save you the analogy on how hard it is to find excellent cheese ravioli so you're going to have to trust me in return. I also love their salads and the pizza is always great. Friendly staff and a great location plus awesome operating hours. You can't lose with this place!

Costumer service was awful, I ordered online and picked the to go option, and when I got in the store the lady working the cash register didn't know about my order and I had to tell her what I got. The pizza itself is not good, I got the great Greek, and it was cold. Even though I picked it up early. Not good, I expected something way better for all the hype around this pizza joint

The food here is outstanding and for a reasonable price. They have different offers everyday of the week. The main reason I wanted to write a review is because of the Amazing staff. They always take care of the customers and do everything possible to make it well worth the visit. Keep up the great work!!!

Service is always slow here. Food is okay but very overpriced. It's brick oven pizza/food but the cooks do a really bad job at gauging to see when the dough is fully cooked. Our Mac and cheese was watery and undercooked and the calzone was doughy and not cooked all the way through. I live in DuPont and been to this place multiple times. The service and food is always the same. I would recommend going anywhere else.

For those of you complaining about food being overpriced and terrible service, there is a McDonalds right around the corner! Take your tight wallet and your pretentious family to get a happy meal!

Farrelli's in Dupont is definitely one of my favorite places to go on a weekday night. Typically, I always get Annie's Spicy Sausage Five Star Pizza. The combination of sweetness and spicy is epic. However, if you don't like cashews, don't get this pizza. This pizza contains jalapeno cream cheese, spicy Italian sausage, spinach, roasted red peppers, mozzarella, provolone, pepperonchini and cashews. You can pick up this pizza for about 16.09 for a 12 Inch and 24.59 for a 16 Inch. If Wade is serving, try to get him to order you one of his special Fire Stix. I'm not going to name what's in it, but it's Awesome (with a capital "A"). He usually bartends.

The pizza is really good but my god is it overpriced. Be ready to spend $50 on two thin crust pizzas. For what you get for the money it's not worth it. They never have coupons and they don't deliver. You can get 5 or 6 pizzas at dominos for the same price and they're almost as good. If they would bring their prices into a more reasonable ballpark this place would be worth it but until then I'll go elsewhere.

I appreciate the Veteran's Day $10 off on an order, thank you. But it would help if the hostess knew how to ring up the discount. I ordered an oven roasted chicken and avocado for $9.49 and she charged me full price plus tax. When I asked about the discount, her reply was, "I don't see it on here." My thoughts were, "well why don't you bring this to the attention of management." Eventually she found out how to give the discount after a minute or so and took away the charge. I think the proper thing to do was get her supervisor to fix the order rather than charge me full price hoping I wouldn't say anything. The sandwich was great, it came with soup or salad. I got the corn and crab chowder which was also delicious.

Tried the Italia 12 inch. Definitely unique taste with the supposed hot peppers tasting more sour than anything. Good family friendly atmosphere. Good for a date.

I love this place. Has some of the best pizza I've ever had. Only one other place is comparable and it's in AZ. Wood fire pizza just always tastes better. I enjoy the liveliness of the bar area but if you're looking for something more chill the restaurant seating area is more low key.

Surprisingly delightful! Even though we visited this restaurant on July 4, 2013 - I just found my notes from our dining experience; it was so good, it's worth posting. After working the morning of July 4th, Sweetie and I headed up to Seattle for a couple of days off. On the way north just past the big military base Lewis/McCord, we decided to pull off and landed in the Dupont Station Business district of Dupont, Washington. Although only it was only 3:00 p.m., businesses, especially restaurants, were closing one after another. At a "bistro" across the street was open - but their kitchen was closed. Across the street, the hostess pointed out, was Farrelli's Pizza - which she said was staying open for a while. We weren't in the mood for Italian food, or pizza. But, we sauntered in and took a seat. The cheer and energetic wait staff pointed out many people who come regularly have never ordered pizza - but say they love their "Sandwich Creations". We were ready to be disappointed; but hungry. Sweetie ordered the Farrelli's Country Club sandwich . The fresh Italian herb focaccia bread came loaded with chicken breast, bacon and ham. It also had smoked Gouda cheese, roma tomatoes, and dressed with garlic aioli. After her first few tentative bites, she dun in, saying her sammie was delicious. I opted for the Oven-roasted Chicken & Avocado sandwich. A simple "creation" with smoked Gouda cheese, balsamic aioli, fresh greens and sliced Roma tomatoes on Italian rocaccia. Good? It was yummy from first bite to last. Although these were $10 sandwiches, the both ate like a full meal. We left fully satisfied - so much so that we didn't have much of a supper. They claim "We don't make good food; we make GREAT food!" Sweetie and I agree with their claim. They have several locations in the south Sound area. Next time we pass through the area, we'll be stopping at Farrelli's.

Farelli's is a great place to meet a group of friends, hang out, listen to music on the jukebox, play pool and meet people. They've got a great set-up in side. One side is the bar and the other part is for the family. Their happy hour is outstanding. Everytime my friends and I go there we utilize the happy hour menu for beers and cheesy bread. If you're there during happy hour and don't get the cheesy bread, shame on you! You get a lot of bang for your buck during happy hour, so don't miss out on it. They also hold lots of other events too. Nonetheless, their pizza is pretty good and they have always been welcoming towards parties of 12-15 last minute.

I have been here twice. The first time the service was really slow, but the food was DELICIOUS. The second time I ordered takeout, and the pizza was terrible. I'm not sure it even had cheese on it. The inconsistency is a big turn off to me. We will probably try it one more time...

Came here for lunch with some friends and was very disappointed with the service. We walk in and was seated immediately. Then we were ignored! We watch other customers be seated, given water, and have their orders taken that were seated after us. After fifteen minute we asked Jesse the blond waitress who was supposed to be our server. She lied and told us she didn't know. Asked two other servers, who stated that it was Jesse. After confronting Jesse and another waitress, both state they will return in a few minute. No one came. After 20 minute of waiting we left! I hate being ignored!

My first time here, was invited by friends.. I'll make it short and simple the food ok I had the calzone. Definitely over prized. Now when it comes to the service they really suck. I asked to be seated close to a tv because I wanted to watch soccer and was waiting for some friends and she seated me in her section because it would mess up her section to sit me somewhere else. I had to wait for my drink to be refilled. I personally don't like that at all.

My husband had their NW Brat in a Hoodie which was massive when it arrived at the table and personally, I thought it was a huge let down. I thought it was going to have a kick with the jalapeno cream cheese and the "caramelized onions" were just sauteed onions. I, on the other hand had their lunch special- custom personalized pizza with mushrooms, sausage and "caramelized onions" and it was okay... nothing spectacular whatsoever. Sadly, I felt nauseous for the rest of the day after eating at Farrelli's.

I haven't been to this location in years and went there Saturday for dinner. I was a bit surprised to be how empty the place was. It was a 'sunny' day in WA so perhaps people were out enjoying the sunshine. I had checked in myself & my friend on FB and they had a note they offered free breadsticks if you checked in via FB with a friend and ordered a 12" or 16" pizza. So can score some free food if you do that :) I ended up getting the 6" personal pizza and small caesar salad. One thing to note on the caesar salad: it's not my type. It came out untossed with some drizzle of dressing on it. I think it was meant to be 'romaine' lettuce but it didn't taste like it. I ended up picking at it and not touching most of it. The pizza itself was good and the service was quick. I can't complain about the quiet atmosphere. The food was just okay though and not on par with what I remembered.

Good food, Good service. I am of the "Bad pizza is always better than no pizza" mind set, so to that end, Farrell's was better than average. We had a salad to share. Flavor and toppings were AMAZING, portions was pretty small for 13.00. I would go back here if I was traveling down I5 again and needed a pizza fix, but I wouldnt go out of my way to visit.

The food is good, they have Angry Orchard on tap and they give kids a piece of pizza dough to play with while they're waiting for the food. The server was attentive without being bothersome and my family enjoyed the experience.

Went there this afternoon with a friend and had a delicious lunch! The create your own pizza option is awesome! They allow you to select from different crusts (including gluten free) and many different sauces, cheeses, meats, and vegetables. The service was good and our food came out in a good amount of time! Definitely recommend trying it out!

My wife and I love this place, we live pretty close so we just walk there to shoot pool and have some good beer and make our own pizza. And they have the elysian avatar jasmine ipa which is one of our favorites. I would recommend this place to all my friends and family.

I give four stars instead of five because this location is always really busy. The food is awesome!! Good selection of beer. It's not super family friendly just because of its size. It's more perfect for the couple with no kids who want to watch a game, drink some beer and eat some amazing pizza. BUT you can most definitely get away with bringing kids here, we bring ours every time. I suggest getting a pizza you don't normally get at most pizza joints. Their pepperoni is very good, but you don't get a lot of opportunities to order a BBq chicken and ranch pizza so GO CRAZY WITH YOUR PIZZA! My daughter always asks the lady for pizza dough to play with while we wait for our pizza which, surprising for how busy it gets here, isn't ever that long! Staff is always super friendly, and speedy. All around awesome restaurant that we go to once a month.

Awesome beer selection. They had several beers I hadn't even heard of, much less tried. The ones I sampled there were top of the line. Buffalo wings weren't too spicy. Their pizza was perfect, with plenty of garlic and a good crust. Definitely worth the time.

Horrible service but the food is pretty good. Waited an hour for our food to come out and my pasta came out cold because they were waiting for bread. Hubby's pizza came out a long time after my food. The waitress only came back once to refill our waters and then rushed out the checks before we even got tp order dessert. We've been here several times with friends and the experience is always the same.

I got take out for a cheese pizza and it was okay. It was $13 for the pizza and it was very plain. I could have went to Domino's and got a little more flavor. It probably may have a better sit-down dining experience but I don't know. It was nice to try, but I probably won't be going again unless my friends really want to go.

Awesome food and family friendly! It seems like any place that works well with my 3 year old is average food... Not the case here. They give my daughter a pizza dough ball to play with while food is prepared and she loves it! She also loves the mac&cheese and chocolate milk. The best part is that I get to enjoy amazing food while she is happy. So far I have tried their salads, sandwiches and PIZZA!! Delicious! Last night I had the pesto pizza with roasted chicken, tomatoes and a balsamic glaze... Perfection!

My husband and I love pizza so we decided to come here on date night. The atmosphere was nice and we had a great waitress however the pizza was not that great. For the price we were hoping for something great but i might have been happier with a little caesars pizza (and i don't their pizza either). Didn't have any other menu items but for being a pizza place i expected better.

Pretty good spot for lunch if you've got an hour. I walked into Farrelli's and sat down - it seemed like I was eating at a bar more than a restaurant due to the darkness and lack of decor. However, when the food came out, I quickly saw why my friend suggested this place. The cheese sticks were solid and the salads were quite tasty. I'll know to make this a regular stop when I have to pass through Fort Lewis from now on.

Of all the Farrelli's locations DuPont is our favorite. This is standard American pizza & good huge salads in a casual comfortable setting - not fine dining. Skip dessert at all locations especially the bread/pizza crust pudding and avoid the happy hours drink specials if you don't like a super sweet cocktail. We have never had a bad pizza or poor service at DuPont. The Tacoma & Parkland locations (which are much closer to our home) have disappointed us so often that I doubt we'll return to them. The DuPont location is our "go to" spot whenever we are heading south on I-5. Try the Jack & John's pizza with red sauce instead - it is fabulous!

It was a dark and stormy night. . . . blah. . blah. . blah. . . I had a great waitress and great pizza. I was here for a business meeting, so unfortunately I did not take advantage of the nightlife, pool, or the booze. Dupont just happened to be a great half-way meeting place between Centralia and Seattle. I am not sure if I would go far out of my way to grab dinner/lunch at Farrelli's, but if I am in the area again I know I have a really solid dinner/lunch option.

LOVE IT! Great Pizza & Wings but just on the expensive side. It also gets too crowded and there can be a wait to eat. I like going on Saturday nights to the bar with friends to watch the Karaoke Night! It's always fun to just sit back and relax or to go and play some pool! :)

I start to worry about myself when I look through my reviews and see how many times I've written "never tried the food... only the beer..." I'm sure it's nothing to be concerned about. ANYWAY, this is one of those places. I was staying with family just up the street, and my cousin would sneak my brother and me out to have a beer here. We preferred to drive out to Steilacoom, but if we were short on time, this is where we'd go. Its a normal, commercial restaurant/pub/pool hall. Not too big of a beer selection, but they have the essentials, and a liquor selection, and lots and lots of lottery tickets. Less than stellar service - snooty waitress who didn't know anything about what she was serving. Overall it was good, but generic.

The cal-zone was okay but I would of loved a Mountain Dew to go with it but something happened to the fountain so we had water. The waiter was nice I may come back for lunch every now and again the price was better than some places with the same gimmick and I will leave it at that.

Stopped by after an evening at the Landmark Forum a few blocks away. Apparently the folks I went with have madea little tradition out of a late-night stop at Farrelli's. I ordered the artichoke flat bread - artichoke/cheese topping was delicious - the bread was a little thick and hard. Everyone else's food choices looked great (heh, don't they always?) The service was amazing. I mean - really, amazing. I wish I had caught the server's name (he might have a wife who is involved with the chain of restaurants as well? Thought I heard that from someone at my table). So... food = 4 stars service = 5 stars plus!! We'll be back!!

  • Jacqueline S.

I love this place!! It's a bit pricey but the atmosphere here is great! It's super laid back and the food is awesome! I always order a pepperoni, extra cheese and fresh basil pizza and it's amazing everytime! Ingredients are fresh and the salads and appetizers are great too!! As I've stated before in my reviews I am very picky with my ranch dressing and this place has great ranch!! I think they make all their dressings so theyre just so good!! The service here is always good and the staff is super friendly! I will continue to eat here when I want a sit down place for pizza and drinks!!

  • Jill P.

The food is awesome but..... Worst. Service. Ever. Our waiter was more concerned with his appearance than his job. We waited ten minutes for a server to acknowedge us. When they did, it took another ten for a drink order. There were a whole 2 other tables filled. My drink came without ice. ??? When the pizza came, we asked for plates. The server disappeared never came back. Our bill did not reflect happy hour prices. Our modified bill appeared to. This bill was apparently incorrect so the server chased us to our car. That was embarrassing. It's bad when you go to a restaurant and not wonder how good the food will be, or how good the service will be, instead you anticipate the poor service and disappointment that results.

    (2)
  • Corinne P.

Not much to say about this place. I've noticed that their food is bland and the pizza varies from one restaurant to another. Since it's close to base, there aren't many options in Dupont.

It has become my watering hole because it's close to my house and there really isn't anything else. The set up is a bit odd but the happy menu is pretty nice and you can't go wrong with pizza. The pasta dishes are mediocre and something I wouldn't pay money for. If all else fails just go for the booze.

The pizza is good (hence 2 stars), but the service is awful. We've been here multiple times and the service was okay, but after today, I don't think we'll be coming back. The waitress was very snooty, inattentive, and we repeatedly had to ask for simple things that I expect when I go out for dinner. I.e. refill drinks, clean plates for the pizza (I don't like using my half full salad plate), ask if we may care for anything else, correct change (don't automatically keep the coins when it's close to $1), thank you and good-bye. and yes, attitude matters; I'm happy to leave about a 20% tip, but for the first time in my life left only $1, that's how bad it was.

This is the best pizza I have ever had bar none. I did not have any issues with the wait staff or the cooks. The one cook even got to the point where he remembered the kind of pizza I always ordered. They have two different kinds of pepperoni on the menu for their pizzas. I recommend getting BOTH on your pie.

We stopped by Farrelli's for dinner and had an amazing dinner! The Host greeted us before we were fully in the door an immediately led us to a very comfortable booth! We ordered the brand new menu item "Artichoke Flatbread" and found it to be a work of art! The slight sour of the artichoke dip blended perfectly with the thin wood fired bread. It was about the size of a 12 in thin crust pizza. We then shared the Great Greek pizza! The kalamata and black olives paired perfectly with the feta, salami, provolone, mozzarella, roasted whole garlic, pepperocinis and fresh tomatoes. Fantastic food! The most notable aspect of this already great restaurant was the service! Kasey was our server, and I could not be more pleased! Having been a server many years ago, I have very high expectations for service. Kasey surpassed my highest expectations, many times providing for my needs before they were actual needs. I have eaten and many restaurants lately that cost well over $100 for my wife and I, and have not received this level of all around customer service and attentiveness in a very long time! Kudos to the staff of Farrelli's! You set the bar very high and we will most certainly be back!!

We were driving to Seattle from Portland and stopped here from a quick lunch. The place is pretty nice with normal sports bar decoration; however, it's very quiet, seems like nobody eats here. We ordered a Arnold Palmer, a coffee and a James' favorite pizza. The drinks were very watery, but the pizza was surprisingly good! Service was so so, as there wasn't too much interaction. At the end when we wanted to pay for our bill and asked a waitress, she refused to help us and told us to ask the other waitress.

Food = GREAT! Staff/Service = BOO I love the wide variety of pizza choices here but am saddened by the sometimes soggy crust. Perhaps if the wait staff got on the ball and actually did their job of delivering food timely from the kitchen, this wouldn't be a problem. That's right: the service here STINKS. Accordingly, I can (and will) never go back. This saddens me because I really like the atmosphere here (a'hem, hot GI JOES? CHECK!!) and it's a great place for groups but that is all shot to hell when your drinks arrive late (if at all) and served up with a huge attitude. If you do decide to take a risk hoping that AT LAST Farrelli's has got their shit together and fixed their staff, let me suggest their salads to you. They are huge (enough to share) and beyond tasty. I actually like their salads more than their pizza. With the limited options in DuPont, Farrelli's is one of your better options. But if don't bother coming all the way from another location for it. Best to try bigger and better things near by.

While driving back from Seattle this week, I noticed a sign that read wood fired pizza. Sweet. I figure I'm a huge fan and it will probably be good. Long story short, I spent 12 bucks on a 6 inch personal pizza, a side salad, and a drink (think big gulp). End result was similar to a red baron microwave pizza. Super let down.

I LOVE FARRELLI'S! You need to stop here if you are driving I-5 between Tacoma and Olympia. Even if you aren't hungry, you will be once you smell the real mozzarella cheese, perfectly cooked crust (not too doughy, not too crunchy), and fresh toppings. They bake their pizzas in an apple wood-fired oven and this imbues the crust with a wonderful, faintly sweet taste. I'm salivating just thinking about it. They offer a huge array of awesome toppings ranging from the ordinary- spinach, pepperoni, olives, to the harder to find- goat cheese, house made sausage, cashews, avocado. They also offer great drinks, salads, appetizers, and desserts (the chocolate cake will blow your mind!). Farrelli's is also really family friendly and they love to support the military. They offer military discounts and put on support the troops celebrations. To show their dedication to customers, Farrelli's also had a dietician design a diabetic friendly (and overall health friendly) pizza because a 12 year old diabetic customer requested one! Its called Elliott's Pie (named after the customer) and it is really delicious and good for you. Its a family-run business that serves fabulous food and supports the community. What more could you want?

Stopped in here a few days ago to grab a quick bite to eat. Compared to other places I've eaten, this place was uneventful.......which is probably a good thing. Reuben sandwich was piping hot and delicious! Thousand Island dressing was delivered on the side as requested. Mt. Dew, well it was cold and refreshing. This review could have been a perfect 5 stars had my waitress been more attentive to my glass.

It's Friday night and I'm in town visiting my sister, her two kids, w/ my two kids. We thought pizza would be fun and it's only minutes from her home. I should have known it wasn't going to be a great experience when we walked in to see at least a dozen booths/tables open and were still given a 10-15 minute wait to be seated. When we did get our table, it was a round table with a top that swiveled, the only one of its kind it seems and NOT ideal with 4 children ranging from 3yrs - 9yrs. We were going to ask for another table but we didn't get a server for another 15 minutes. Nobody checked on us despite 2 different servers waiting on several tables around ours. I think the hostess was inexperienced and didn't alert the wait staff, plus she sat our kids with children menus and coloring books but no crayons. The fact we were sitting there out in the open and were not approached was annoying. When we finally did get a server, he was very apologetic and attentive but throughout the rest of the dinner we were told our beer of choice was out of stock (5 min after we ordered it), we were given salads without the right dressing, no utensils, and our bread stick appetizer took basically the same amount of time as the pizza. The server did the best he could to make up for it, his attitude and acknowledgement of the wait was appreciated. There is just some messed up communication b/n kitchen, hostess, server, etc. Pizza was so-so, nothing really special. Next time I visit we likely won't return. Oh and I was GROSSED beyond BELIEF by the conditions of the ladies restroom. I took my 3 yr old in only to use dirty stalls to include a USED sanitary napkin sticking to the restroom wall. Just disgusting.

A mediocre restaurant with high prices. I was not impressed with this place. My wife was raving about some pizza she had from here with cream cheese and peppers so I got some to go, a small pizza and a calzone. The calzone was dry, bland and tough. I tried a bite of the pizza but didn't like the blend of flavors. I give it about 1.5 stars but won't ever go back. It was about $30 for a small pizza and calzone.

Stopped here for a late afternoon snack and ended up having a decent meal from their Happy Hour menu in the bar. Service was fine but definitely not on the side of "too much" - they pretty much left us alone. Pizza was good but on the greasy side, garlic bread sticks were good but did not come with ranch as advertised - not a big deal but doesn't say much for their attention to detail! Overall though liked the food and would go back if in the neighborhood.

I'd categorize Farrelli's among the PSP and The Rock in Tacoma (though I haven't been to the one in Tacoma). Me and a couple of friends ordered their chicken ranch BBQ among 2 other pizzas. The food is great (who doesn't love stone-oven cooked pizza?) but it gets a 1 star demerit for their sucky ass service! These sorority type waitresses are really a pain in the ass to deal with. They're just plain rude.

Nice establishment. Great service. I had the all meat calzone with some corn and crab chowder. Omg the chowder was good. I would definitely go back to this place..

Great place to eat! The service was wonderful. Food was great. The kids get to play with small amounts of pizza dough while they make the food. The artichoke dip is a must.

So this is not my first time going to Farreli's in Dupont. However, I will not go back after today's visit. I remember when this place first opened. It was a nice place to go. HOWEVER, it is now a bit of a dump and the service is HORRIBLE! This past Saturday I had a really nice waitress and the other bar staff ( i sat in the bar) were very nice. However, I had to go and get my drink from the bar after it was made because the waitress must have gotten distracted by something shiny. I had hopes for today's visit. I helped thme out by only ordering drinks, wanted to watch the hockey game, they were really great and turned it on along with the sound! SCORE! (well not for my team). Some lady came in about 30 minutes after I did, put money into picking out a song, they turned the sound down. I thought this was supposed to be a bar??? I won't go back. They told me the music overrided the sound on the tv which is bs because they turned it off, (my eyes work and I saw them with the remote). Needless to say, horrible in all areas.

I didn't care much for the place the first time I went, but we gave it another try and this time it was much better. The veggie pizza was really good! We will probably go back on another Sunday, since they only charge $15 per pizza for military. Otherwise, it's a bit pricey.

The food and the service are 5 STAR. It gets busy but worth the wait. We were there for about 1 hour. . Sunday is Happy Hour all day long. This is the BEST PIZZA and SALAD in the Tacoma area. Check it out, worth the drive.

Yesterday I decided to head down to Dupont to visit my mother. On the way I decided to call a head and order pizza from Farrellis. The girl that answered the phone was polite and took my order. She stated that my order would be ready in 10 minutes. It took me about 20 minutes to get there and when I arrived the girl told me it would still be about another 10 minutes. I looked around the restaurant to see if maybe they were busy...there were about 5 tables in the restaurant and a few people playing pool. I sat for about 15 minutes when the server apologized for the wait but it would still be another 5 minutes. Being in the industry I waited patiently as I know stuff happens. Now I dont mind waiting, but the part that annoys the piss out of me was when I received my pizza the server then tells me, "im sorry but one half of the pizza is burnt. My manager said next time you come in you could have one on the house" So a couple of questions popped into my head. 1. Why would you EVER send out a inferior product? 2. How do I wait an additional 5 minutes and end up with burnt pizza? 3. Why wouldnt a manager come speak with me directly? So I left having spent a total of $39 ($31 for a 4 topping pizza, 2 large cokes, and a $8 tip. Yes, I tipped because the server was polite and she wasnt the one cooking the pizza. Besides, im not a cheap ass). When I got home I opened the box to look at the pizza, I really wasnt burnt all that bad. The thing I did notice about the pizza right off the bat was there was no body to the pizza. The dough was horrible. It was almost like the dough had been allowed to overproof. It was spongy and lacked in texture. The toppings were skimpy, and the cheese lacked in flavor. Altogether we ate 3 of the pieces and tossed the rest. If you want good pizza in Dupont go to Bruceskis.... Beer and pool...go to farrellis (skip the pizza)

Had a decent happy hour here, was hungry. Was hoping for those fire cooked pizza with think crust, but it turned out to be more of a microwave frozen style pizza. the chicken one was decent though.

I thought the food was fantastic. The salad was great and my panini was excellent. I was with three other people whom all enjoyed their food as well. I would go back for just that, however, the service really wasn't that exceptional and I'm not hard to please. I'm not going to go as far as saying that it sucked but I have heard stories that could lead to that conclusion. So if you don't mind for less than great service, the food is exceptional.

This is a great family restaurant that I have come to love! I've tried nearly one of everything on the menu- fro, the salads and sandwiches to the pizzas, lasagnas, and delicious appetizers! The pizzas are a little pricey for anything less than 4 people so when I'm in with just a friend I usually stick to a salad or app as my meal! Delicious and the people are very nice and friendly! It's relaxed and comfortable!

I took my grandma to Farrellis for lunch. We had delicious food and excellent service. Our server was patient with my grandma and made sure she always had HOT coffee (my grandma only will have HOT coffee). There are not many places that my grandma requests to go back to, but she has already asked when we will be back to Farrelli's for a mom's salad and hot coffee. I will definitely take her soon! Great experience!

Despite swearing to never return again due too a poor experience at the Parkland location, I got wrangled in to visiting with a group. I hate to pile on another "the food was so-so but the service was crappy" review, but it's so true. I was in a VERY large group, but the rest of the restaurant didn't seem especially crowded. Food was being split and had already been ordered, so the wife and friend who rode with us both ordered Dr. Pepper. 5, 10, 15 minutes go by and NO DRINKS. In the last 7 or 8 minutes of waiting (after getting a bit frustrated) we never even saw the waitress to ask where they were. Finally she shows up again and says that the syrup had run out and it needed to be changed. She leaves and my wife (who has worked in the restaurant business) is furious because according to her it should take no longer than 30 or so seconds to change it out. Finally after nearly 30 minutes (literally-at one point we started taking bets for how long it would take) after ordering our drinks, they show up. The rest of the group we were with had complaints about service for various issues as well. The food was ok. The artichoke dip was a bit bland and the pizza (plain old pepperoni) was acceptable with premium tasting mozzarella and pepperoni coupled with a so-so crust. What irks me the most is that because we were in a group they automatically tack on the 18% tip, which I feel is part of the problem with the poor service. They know they're getting tipped well no matter what, so why try? These girls would have been lucky to get 10% from me. The bottom line is that I'd honestly rather have Papa Johns for half the price than Farrelli's.
