I just went through the drive through today at the Dupont Starbucks and this is only my 2nd Tall Tvana Oprah Chai Latte. My drink tasted very bland. I tasted like hot water with foam on it. I did not taste the drink while at the drive through because the beverage was still too hot to drink. I drove all the way home expecting to enjoy my beverage and took a sip of the latte. ...disappointed. I like the customer service but perhaps there was just no attention to detail with my drink? ..I knew I should have just gone to the 72nd street Starbucks.

You guys really need to take a cue from New York City on efficiency and service standards. There is NO good reason why it should take 10 minutes in a line to order an iced coffee that takes FIFTEEN MINUTES to turn around. Twenty five minutes?? Really? Who do you think you are? Here's an idea: have one person take orders, one person to make the simple brew and iced coffee orders, one barista **at least** to make the complicated orders. (But everyone is getting their soy chai latte with extra foam, so two baristas next time). This is not the first bad experience I've had on the west coast for Starbucks (Dunkin all the way on the East Coast, for the record). But when in Rome, or Washington State. Think you'd have A+ customer service in the home state. Shame on me, since I've been fooled more than two times.

Expensive Coffee, but usually it is better than hotel coffee! Summer time I enjoy the frappaccinos!

Worst customer service ever from Starbucks. Horrible. Who hired Allie? She doesn't represent the customer service experience I have come to appreciate from Starbucks.

Well it is in fact a Starbucks, so not much different from others. Good coffee though and no complaints. The staff was friendly and the bathrooms were clean. Good place to fuel up on a road trip.

I used to love coming into this Starbucks, the baristas are so nice and friendly. Ever since this new manager came in things haven't been the same...where did Gina go?

Gotta love traffic, right? Rather than simply sitting in it, I decided (rather, my bladder decided) that I would follow the green signs of glory to relief in oh-so-many ways. Parking in the humble gravel lot I thought in my tainted MBA-infused mind..."wow Starbucks, even you - the masters of strategic over-population, have gotten it wrong. Dupont? I mean...does anyone know where Dupont is? Umm...apparently I am the fool. I walked in to the most crowded Starbucks I have experienced in years. We're certainly not in Portland anymore Toto! Anywho - I'm really enjoying the new "star suggestion text" because "A-OK" is precisely how I feel about nearly all Starbucks locations. It's refreshing to know exactly where I can get a caffeine fix and a bathroom. And in Dupont? Awesome.

One of the nicer Starbucks that I have seen. The girls behind the counter were very nice and seemed to care about the stores cleanliness and presentation more than most. Warm and inviting.

So if this Starbucks is crowded, for those of you that don't know- it's because it's really close to (North) Joint Base Lewis-McChord...and we like this Starbucks because they are good to us. They support their military community. I've always received great service here and it's a decent place to grab a little bite for breakfast or lunch. I can get something healthy and don't have to have fast-food.

FACT. Don't drive all the way from California to the birthplace of Starbucks because you will get grouchy baristas with NO SENSE of humor. I'm guessing this depressing rain just doesnt make you as happy as us California sunshine babies. Ps they don't have blueberry muffins which means my hubby is sad too! Lame lame lame overall.

Nice vibe. Cozy but still roomy. Good spot for a coffee break during freeway travel.

The store had a lot of people sitting at tables talking and working on their computers. It was clean and friendly vibe. BUT, when we stepped up to the counter to order we were not waited on for awhile and the barristas acted annoyed that we were interrupting their conversation. Our drinks weren't that good and the service was sub-par for a starbucks. I even tipped.........

Now I don't usually write up Starbucks locations, because they are so ubiquitous and homogeneous--that would be like writing a review of a post office. However, this store's drawbacks are worth noting. There's no parking in front, you have to park in back or across the street in a gravel lot, and the pumpkin spice latte I got was burned or something. Didn't taste like any pumpkin spice latte I've had at any store anywhere else ever. But on the upside, the people were really nice, and they had fresh top pot donuts, so who can complain about that? Fresh, quality delicious donuts in dupont? Who knew. Just a few hundred feet off an I-5 exit, why no drive through? C'mon Starbucks.
