My wife and I love this restaurant. The fresh salad rolls are wonderful, the chicken satay is moist and generous, and the red curry chicken is very tasty. We order take out mostly and our order is ready within 10 - 15 minutes every time. The bottom line is that this is one of our go to favorites. Give it a try...you'll be glad you did.

Uh, never crowded for a reason! Their hours are limited because they close in the middle of the day. I understand why they would do it, but it's definitely inconvenient for someone like me who's trying to get an early dinner to-go to catch an evening flight. Their pad thai was HORRIBLE. Bland, wrong flavor, dry... When I opened it, I was even wondering if they had gotten my order wrong. It was more of a brown color versus the regular orange colored pad thai. I wanted to chuck my food out the window; that's how bad it was. From LA, so my taste palate may be different and accustomed to something different.

I give Thai corner cuisine a 4/5 stars because the food is delicious, but I felt like their peanut sauce lacked a little salt, in their Swimming Rama dish. Their spiceness scale is a little spicy for my taste. The best crab wontons I've ever had. They have herbs in with the cream cheese and imitation crab, that makes it absolutely the best out there!!! The decor of Thai's Corner Cuisine is very cute for a dinner date. Love the chairs, and the color scheme. When I'm back in Seattle, I'll definitely come back here for Thai food.

Don't let the exterior of this place put you off. The food is awesome! Had the cashew nut chicken - amoung the best I've ever had. Nice people... good food... really!

I've never really been a huge fan of Thai food other than Panang curry due to the fact that I've been to many different Thai restaurants that had dishes that just seemed to lack flavor, very blan and dry. Let me first start off with the location. Right off of the 509 freeway where 1st ave is the cross street is it in a odd location because the only way to enter the parking lot is for you to face northbound on 1st ave. As soon as my girlfriend and entered the restaurants we were greeted immediately and were able to sit where ever we chose. The waiter was very prompt in taking our order and it felt like such a short wait time until our food came. We ordered pad Thai, chicken fried rice, and Panang curry which they were not shy on the meat portions in each dish. The food was absolutely delicious! As I said at the beginning of the review I have had bad experiences with Thai food but this is definitely one of those hole in the wall gems out in burien. I definitely recommend coming here and checking out their dishes!!

So of course I stopped by here since I love Thai food and plan on eating at all the Thai restaurants I this state. :p We were seated quickly, the place was fairly empty. We ordered pad Thai and a yellow curry. Our food came fast and we dug in. The food was a little bland looking, but smelled amazing! I loved the pad Thai, my friend didn't love her curry as much since it is a more unique dish which you either love or hate. Overall good place, clean, fast service, good food.

I've tried this place a few times now. I'm just going to review the pad thai which is our families get together dish. We tried pad that just about everywhere....they all differ slightly, but this place gives huge portions of it. We order 2 and 4 of us eat. The taste is great and overall were always satisfied. Had it tonight and it was a great night again...as expected. I think most people might give this place a three, because it's kind of middle of the road, but if you're into pad Thai...it will do perfectly, Enjoy your food.

... I have 23 check in's here. I don't have more than 5 anywhere else. This place is the best Thai Food in South Seattle. We eat lots of thai at many different places and this is always first on the list. But for this single review I want to mention a single item on their menu... Spicy Soup Noodle. That's really the name. In the winter there is nothing better than a large bowl of "Spicy Soup Noodle". Its like Thai Style Chicken Noodle soup with fried garlic and if you don't like spicy you don't have to get it spicy at all and its still amazing. There is literally nothing like it. If you are having a bad day, go to Thai's Corner, order the Spicy Soup Noodle then go home get on yelp and thank me for making your day. Its like Pho Soup and Phad Thai had an affair, created an illegitimate child and it was SPICY SOUP NOODLE. If I could only eat one dish the rest of my life it would be spicy soup noodle. If I was on death row and only had one meal left... it would be spicy soup noodle. Then when I died and met God the first thing I would say is thank you for the invention of spicy soup noodle. Seriously you can get phad thai anywhere, you can get red curry anywhere... you can only get spicy soup noodle at this one place on the entire planet. You're Welcome.

This place is a hidden gem. It's easy to miss--from the outside it looks like an old abandoned IHOP. But let me tell you, their food is AMAZING. We've stopped in a couple times now. The first time I ordered the Pad See Ew and the second time I got the "Garlic" entree with beef and a side of the chicken noodle soup. The garlic stir fry comes with your choice of meat sauteed with loads of garlic, chilis, cracked peppercorns, broccoli, and carrot. Both times the dishes were extremely delicious. The Pad See Ew had just the right amount of sweetness, the beef in the garlic stir fry was very tender and the dish had the perfect amount of heat, and the chicken noodle soup had the richest flavored chicken broth I think I've ever had in a soup. You will absolutely not be disappointed with the food. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous. It really is deceiving because the outside looks pretty run down, but the inside has these rich looking, tall wooden chairs, beautiful traditional Thai art, stunning green and blue lantern-like lighting, and green and blue fabric draped around the windows. Both times when we went, the restaurant was pretty quiet. I honestly don't know how this place isn't packed on a regular basis. The service was very attentive, fast, and friendly. The gal helping us the last time we went was very prompt in taking our order, and even offered to box up our leftover food. She made our visit really pleasant. This place embodies the saying that you can't judge a book by its cover. Both experiences here were wonderful and I cannot recommend Thai's Corner enough.

First off, I would like to say I'm pretty picky with Thai food but I love it so much. Haven't been able to find a restaurant I like but I can say I will be coming back. We got seated right when we walked in, the server was very prompt at taking our order and made sure everything was correct. The restaurant has a chic comfortable vibe to it. My boyfriend and I got three dishes. Basil fried rice, Panang Curry and the Pad Thai. All three dishes were great, the presentation to the favor of all three was amazing. Might I add, they were not shy on the meat portion either! I know some places are but we had a lot of meat in each dish. Definitely would recommend coming here.

Pure Disappointment. I should have known when I went in to pick up our order and the restaurant only had one table of customers at 6:30 pm on a Friday night. Spring rolls: were burnt on the ends, and raw in the middle and dripping with grease. Pad Thai: we ordered 2 star and it was at least 3 or 4 stars. I'm not sure how they did it, but it was both flavorless and spicy at the same time. The only flavor was spicy. The tofu was was also bland, mushy and tasted like old oil. Fried Rice: Also super spicy, and tasted like nothing by burnt oil with lots of heat. Thai tea: good, not watery at all. Peanut Sauce (on the side): was ok, it was the sweet kind, not the spicy kind, which is what I normally like. We had been meaning to try this place for a while. With all the other amazing thai food in Seattle, I have to say we will never go back. We ended up throwing most of the food into the compost, and anyone who knows me knows I never throw food away.

Came on a Saturday around 3:00! This place is bomb.com !!! Pad thai is on point, non of that sweet crap but instead, a mixture of sweet/sour tamarind taste which is just like how it should be!!!

The trout salad is off the hook! The down side is that they don't have papaya salad.

I only order the panang curry (with prawns) or pik khing (with prawns) & haven't been disappointed.

Good Thai food, but pretty expensive. I normally get takeout, so prefer to spend a bit less for meals where I am not enjoying a restaurant experience. For 2 entrees, 1 appetizer, & rice it's about $40 without tip. My main issue is that they charge like $6 for rice- it does come with the meal.

Super delicious Thai food! Best in the South end by far. Eat here, you won't regret it.

This is one of my favorite phad thai spots. Never busy for lunch. Only bad thing is they're on a busy intersection so if you're not heading south its a pain to get to.

  • Jessica E.

The flavor is all there... But the preparation isn't. Tried the cashew chicken and sweet and sour chicken, again flavor is great! But the food comes in a variation of temperatures... One piece is hot, one is warm, some are cold.... Weird right? The first time I went it was flat out cold, asked for it to be warmed up because it was cold and it was out in an in-view microwave for about a minute. I thought it would come back Scorching hot but it surprisingly was not. It was barely warm. :( also my ice water was really all water no ice. Still.. I'll come back because it is nearby and I like the taste, I just wish they would hear the food properly..

This was one of my favorite places to go. But when I went today, sheesh, downhill it's gone. The front part of the restaurant is dirty - dusty, spider webs in corners, on both ends of green bench and in the plant! The floor hasn't been swept or washed in ages. Plus, since they don't have A/C, one door is open "fresh" air. Okay, but the neighborhood cats have taken to spraying outside their establishment, so the inside smells like cat urine. yuck! There are several ways to get rid of that. Very unappetizing. The guy inside was completely disinterested in the smell. And, he tried to charge me for a dinner at lunch time. Okay, maybe honest mistake ... but in addition to all that, the broccoli in my dish was old (several pieces were rotten) and they didn't ask me how many stars I wanted. I forgot to ask, so my dish was bland bland bland. Since it was take-out, I couldn't go back and get the spicing. All in all, a very disappointing visit. I won't be back. There are other great places in Burien and that's where I'll be. So sad.

I was surprised how good the Pad Thai 4stars was. I don't like oily Thai so this was a treat. Perfect spice and Chicken was perfect as well. Alot of food for $8.95

The restaurant is junky outside but tidy inside, wirh clean bathrooms. Food was iffy. We got Swimming Rama. It seemed tossed together, wit h raw spinach and barely-warm peanut sauce. Pad Thai was OK.

  • William B.

Poor service and the Pad Thai tasted like the grill it was cooked on. The crab wontons were good though.

  • Glenn P.

We've been here twice, and both times are under-whelming. I don't recall them having brown rice, nor any good deserts. They're in an old Ihop building which isn't the most convenient to get to. The food was just 'meh'. It resembeled Thai food, but the 'authentic' was missing. The portions were on the small side.

  • Colleen J.

We had the pineapple curry and it was fantastic. I am a recent transplant from Portland and have been looking for a new Thai place (I have tried quite a few in the Tukwila area) and this is it! It is not a fancy place, it is a little dumpy looking and small but well worth it for the taste.

  • Christine B.

Update - last few times, this place did not impress with the rad nah. :( Not sure why anything changed. If you order something with tofu, they will fill the order with tofu and skimp on veggies, which really annoys me. The panang curry is still great, but it's really fatty so I don't want to eat that all the time.

  • Alvin F.

Dropped this rating to a four star based on our last couple of visits. This place is still worth visiting but they have dropped below our five star rating due to our last two visits. First was ordering a no spice dish that we regularly get, it tasted more like a three star, wife could not eat it, on the same visit, my two star was abnormally hot and the portion was smaller than usual. We did not let that deter us, I went back a couple of days later, the wife chose to get something different, but my dish was again much hotter than usual. I have been going here at least twice a month for a couple of years now, and there must be a new cook, it is just not as consistent as usual. Still like the people and the food, just need to get it more consistent to bump back up to the five star rating.

When I walked into this place it was totally empty. I think I showed up before their lunchtime crowd. The menu is pretty large and all of it sounds great. I think my food took less than 5 minutes to come up after I ordered. I was pretty impressed by that. The food itself was good too. The restaurant has a very authentic feeling ambiance. It might be cool to visit for dinner to see how it looks with the low evening light. Getting to the parking lot can be difficult if you're coming from the opposite direction

  • Scott V.

Never had a bad meal out of the 50+ times I've been. Curries are fantastic and the best Larb Gai I've ever eaten. Pay no attention to the lack of cars in the parking lot...you'll like it!

I've driven passed this place several times and have been meaning to try it, especially with the great reviews it received from fellow yelpers, and finally got the chance to with some co-workers yesterday. First off, the only way you can enter the parking lot is heading north on 1st Ave. If you're going south, you'll have to make a U-turn, which can be a hassle and danger for some. They have a lunch menu with $7.99 plates and extra $3 for prawns and $4 for seafood. All other meats come free with dish, as expected. I ordered the Chicken Pad Thai, because I like to use this as my reference when comparing Thai restaurants. The portions are huge and the service is quick, but the quality of the food is not comparable to other Thai food I've had. Also, I was looking into ordering fresh spring rolls, but for TWO rolls it was nearly $7! And it appears they pre-mix their thai tea and milk so you can't make any non-dairy substitutes. Plus, it just tastes watered down when they do that. I did like the decor of the place, which is not what you would expect from looking at the outside. All in all, this place was considerably overpriced for the quality of Thai foods they offer. I would rather drive an extra 10 minutes to Tukwila to visit Bai Tong Restaurant for some high quality Thai food!

I haven't written a review in a couple years..wow, I'm also glad yelpers found my very first review helpful, which was a review on Lake Kachess Campground. Anyways. I like this place. The ambience of this place has always been quite tranquil every time I've dined in. I've never seen no more than 8 people feasting while I was there. Im not too sure why either. Their phad thai and pad siew is above average (taste wise), the price is average but, their portion is also above average compared to numerous of other thai restaurants I've been to within a 10 mile radius. The lay out and decor also seems to be authentically thai which is a plus. It makes the food taste better lol.. If your're looking for a quiet and relaxed place with hasty service and the typical thai dish, this place wouldn't hurt to try. I always come back here when I'm around the area and craving thai food. I'm not a picky eater but I know when something isn't worth it and this place is far from that. Enjoy. PS. My favorite Thai Restaurant is the one in China Town, Seattle. (Tropics Thai) There portions are huge and a great deal. Lunch time gets crazy busy though. :)

Have driven past this place hundreds of times without ever trying it. Was quite pleasantly surprised with the food and service. Ordered the Crying Tiger which was excellent. Beef was very tender and good quality. If you are able to get past this restaurant's rough looking, former IHOP looking exterior, the food quality is a nice contrast and the prices very reasonable.

I have driven past this place for years, but the awkward location held me off from visiting. While i have to say I wasn't blown away, it was pretty decent for Thai food. The noodles were really good but the pork was a bit dry. Not the best but I will give it a try.

When I posted my 5-star first review of this place, I was puzzled as to how anyone could dislike this place. Unfortunately I found out. 2 nights ago we ordered some food for takeout - basil fried rice and pad thai. When we opened the boxes at home, it didn't smell good at all. It smelled like burnt or old wok oil and that's exactly what both dishes tasted like. Awful. We'd never had the fried rice before so I don't know how to compare that, but we have has the pad thai many many times and it was never like that before. It was so bad I considered calling in a complaint, but then I thought of the language difficulties I would have with that conversation and decided against it. Both orders of food has to be thrown out. (And if you know me you'll understand what a cardinal sin wasting food is to me and that I nearly never do it.) I will go back and give them another chance because they've been so great in the past, but I will be much more careful about what I order - pretty much anything that doesn't require wok frying: curries, rice dishes, that awesome fish dish. I also intend to talk to them about our most recent experience with their bad takeout food. Also - since some people seem to not know... there are typically two kinds of pad thai served in US Thai restaurants: tamarind pad thai (which is brown and usually more sweet) and what I call 'ketchupy' pad thai (which is more common, a bit sour and usually orangey-colored). For your reference Thai's Corner serves tamarind pad thai.

Checking in on the "thai hop" officially after being turned away for a to go order 15mn before they closed one night...I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of their lunch portion and flavors of my favorite go to Thai dish: Red Curry Chicken. Even though the soup came after our main course was served and had little flavor compared to the very salty but satisfying curry, I am now happy to say I can grab Thai a little closer to my home than having to drag myself over to Southcenter. Not the very best but good and fulfilling. Wish they had better access from the street but that is not their fault. They really decorated the interior nicely with vibrant colors and it's cheery. I would ask the cute couple to move their bussing station out of the view of the main entrance. It's really the first thing you see when you walk in. I'd rather see a Buddha shrine or decoration like in most places but if you get past that, it's worth a try.

This was the first Thai place my boyfriend and I tried in Burien because my brother recommended it. We decided to get a multitude of dishes and split them all. We ordered the spicy chicken fried rice, the chicken phad thai and the crying tiger beef. We picked up the food and started dishing up. The chicken fried rice was my favorite. It was delicious and I was very pleased with it. The chicken phad thai however was slightly dissapointing. The rice noodles were thinner and I was not a fan. The sauce was also different and not the same authentic phad thai flavor that I love. It had a hint of lime and cilantro and I didn't like the accents that it gave to the dish. The beef had good flavor and came with lots of veggies, peppers I think. It was good but not a very big portion for the high price. All in all it was good thai, but I've had better.

  • Justin H.

I think this has to be the best Thai food Burien has to offer. Don't let the location on the corner and the dark parking lot scare you, this place is well worth checking out. The pad thai and thai basil rice are my wife and I's favorites and if you ever go here, make sure to get their crispy wontons, that alone is worth your time.

Being new to Burien I had driven past 'thai hop' numerous times but had yet to build the nerve to actually stop and give it a try. I finally gave in to my thai craving one night after work and stopped in for a quick bite. I played it safe and ordered phad thai with chicken and extra veggies as well as the fresh salad rolls. Oh man, my taste buds where not expecting the wonderful flavors that came with each bite! The peanut sauce with the fresh salad rolls was AMAZING and the pad thai had a perfect balance of sweet and umami while not being too spicy. Each bite had flavors exploding in my mouth and left me craving just a little bit more. The portions where more than generous as I had enough for 2 more meals after dinner. The prices are very fair and the service was fast and friendly. This is, by far, the best thai food I've had in King County!

  • Leigh F.

Really, really good pad see ew. The crying tiger is also very yummy as well. I was afraid that it might be too salty because it's marinated in soy sauce, but it's not at all. So flavorful and tender. The crab wontons are also pretty darn good. I'm not really a fan of the pad thai here, but then again, I'm not really a fan of pad thai in general. Try to eat in if you can as the to-go portions seem smaller, especially with the crying tiger beef. If you eat-in with young kids, they have cute, colorful kid-sized plates. Also, very friendly service.

I'm so glad I found this place. Its so cute inside. They made the best out of this old I hop. They have friendly service and prices are very reasonable. The beef and cucumber salad is to die for. I day dream about it everyday. My husband was making fun of me for drinking the salad dressing. They are closed on Sundays. We went to another thai resturant in tukwila and were highly disapointed. We will wait to go to thai corner next time! Its across from Denny's. Just make a your turn. You wont be disappointed!

  • Vicky L.

I went here with a friend for lunch and the food seems likes it was cooked on a burned skillet or grill. Food woupd be better if it did not have burnt taste. I thought that it would just be a one time thing so I decided to come back again for another try..same experience.

  • Rob A.

Some of the absolute best Thai food around. I've been on the hunt for the best Chicken Phad Thai in the Seattle area and hands down give the award to Thai's Corner Cuisine. Their food is reliably great as I've tried 4 or 5 different dishes. The ambiance is fun and the service is great. I just wish it was in a better location! I only hit it up when I'm near the airport and even then it's an awkward parking lot to get into. With that being said... it's well worth it. Well done!

  • Tara S.

I was really skeptical of this place when I first saw it... it's not beautiful on the outside, and it can be difficult to get into the driveway because of a hard median in the middle of the road right in front. But... ...believe me folks, it is totally worth the effort. Inside is very cozy, with large widely spaced seating and soft lighting. I have never seen it packed, so there's never any wait time to get seated (there might be a slight wait to get an order placed since they can't hire more staff until crowds justify the cost, but honestly if you can't sit for 15 minutes at the start of the meal maybe you should head down the street to Wendy's). And the food is great! Even the pad thai is great (most thai places just call that one in and dump a bunch of sweet sauce on some peanutty noodles - not so here!). The cooks tend to go on the spicy side, so if it's your first time here you may want to order one star down from your normal spice rating just to make sure you don't set your mouth on fire. Actually, wait a minute... if more people know how fabulous this place is, I might have to start waiting for a table. Shoo, this place is awful, nothing to see here folks.

Been driving passed this place for years. Kinda looks like a dump from the outside, and the location is a bit weird (the corner of a free way exit), but with a friend in town requesting Thai food, we decided to give it a shot. Especially since it was the best reviewed Thai place in Burien (on Yelp). .. and after my meal i completely agree. I ordered the Pad Thai, and Garlic Chicken. The lunch special means each entree is only $6.95. Win. The order came within 10 minutes of ordering, and it tasted amazing. Anything that wasn't eaten was quickly gulped up by my roommates. Will return!

Wow! This restaurant epitomizes the adage "don't judge a book by its cover". My husband and I would never have tried it due to the location and curb appeal (it looks like an iHop). But we read some very positive reviews and decided to give it a chance. We were surprised to find the restaurant has very nice ambience inside. Our food was fresh, flavorful and authentic. We will definitely go back. It's by far the best Thai food we've tried in the Des Moines/Burien/Normandy Park area.

Awesome food, great portions, amazing prices... what is not to love? I have eaten her dozens of times and have yet to have a negative experience. I recommend the pineapple curry with seafood. So good. Their chicken sate is also excellent, and their crab wonton things are great. I haven't had a mean I dislike here yet.

If you have never had Thai food this is not the way to start. If you only order 1 star dishes then this is your place. I am not sure how folks are saying it's "the best" or "delicious". In addition, not sure how folks could say it was stellar service or cozy. True, it is in an old IHOP. Yes, it probably is the best Thai in Burien. That statement alone is hard to say. This was an early evening dinner, weekend, NOT busy. We had to wait just shy of 15 minutes to order. We waited for what seemed to be forever for the apps, then the food. After talking with several friends who are in food service I found out that when food tastes like the wok it means that they haven't seasoned the pan yet. Yeah, nasty tasting. Most of the meal was bland, lacked freshness and seemed to be just heaped on the plate. Won't be going back.

I don't eat at any other thai place other than this one. I don't like the ones near southcenter mall, they're not all that great to me. And this place is way better than what you can find at UW. Like someone said below, don't let the lack of cars and the weird location scare you. Its a really fantastic place. I usually order the crab wontons, 4 star pad thai tofu, and 5 star pineapple fried rice. Let me tell you, the rice is absolutely amazing!!!! its moist and has plenty of taste. And they use the good pineapple too. i really hope to bring light to this place because it deserves more customers.

If you're in this part of town go here. It is not the best Thai I've ever had but it is pretty close. The wait staff is very nice and the prices are reasonable.

Built into an old IHOP...we lovingly call this place Thai-HOP. Love the decorations and the food is good solid Thai food. Portions and price are good.

Talk about spicy!!!!! Oh muhhh goodness graciousness! My brother and cousin were craving thai food and because we always go to the same place, we decided to go somewhere new and gave this place a shot. It was pretty empty when we got in but might I say, the first thing that caught my attention was the decorations. It was pretty and almost made me feel like a Thai Princess haha. We started off with some thai teas and also an order of crab rangoon which was delicious! For our entress, we ordered the seafood fried rice, phad ke mao, and this garlic green bean dish all 4 stars because we didn't think they would make it spicy. When we got our dishes, I went straight for the plump shrimp in the fried rice and first thing to hit my tongue was the heat!! My mouth was burned instantly!!! All of the dishes were spicy!!!! I wish I could have enjoyed the food more, but it was just packed with heat, no flavors =(. But the waiter must have had fun watching us trying to eat all this spice because he came by over 6 times to refil our glasses haha, it was quiet embarrassing. We couldn't finish any of the dishes like we normally would and packed the rest home. IF YOU WANT HEAT, GO TO THAI CORNER!!! YOU WON'T REGRET IT! Haha.

  • Neil O.

Their food is surprisingly good. They cater to your spice tolerance on a 1-5 star scale, like Yelp. I had the pad thai and the green curry chicken, both three-star spicy. The three-star green curry was definitely spicier than the three-star pad thai, so there's really no telling how spicy it may be unless perhaps you've had it before. I was able to tolerate both dishes and the pad thai had the right amount of spiciness for my taste. I'd say the curry was more like a four-star. It came with plenty of rice to offset the heat so no complaints there. A solid four-star rating on their three-star meals. One of the better Thai fixes I've had in a while.

This is good suburb Thai in a town full of similar joints. I had the Crying Tiger Beef dish and it was nice. I also tried some of the curry which was good as well. The place is usually pretty empty when you decide to dine in. Most business here is take out. The only thing that knocks a star off is the random hours. It's best to call before heading out there.

I've been a regular here for years. The food is excellent and the service is quick. They can make just about any entree on their menu vegetarian.

Never eaten in the restaurant before, have gotten take out three times so the three star rating is purely based on quality-per-dollar, and the Pad Thai is simply run-of-the-mill. What I liked: Price ($7, Chicken Pad Thai to-go) Service (Quick, nothing out-of-order) What I didn't like: Food (It simply does not taste as satisfying as comparable places when it comes to Pad Thai) That said, there aren't many Thai options in Burien, and so I live with this one unless I feel like making a drive elsewhere.

I highly enjoy thai food and it is pretty hard for me to have anything less then four stars for a thai place. Unfortunately a few months back my wife and I ate here and she found two pieces of hair in her food at this restaurant. Disappointing considering it is so close to where we live but we will never go back again.

Really pretty inside, but I placed my order To Go. Friendly staff, very accomodating. I ordered Wonton Soup, Phad Thai with pork, and Fresh Springs Rolls. The Wonton Soup was delish! Lots of garlic, bok choy and pork filled wontons. I ordered the Phad Thai with 4 out of 5 stars and it was the perfect amount of spice. The noodles were skinny, which isn't my favorite, but it was still tastey. I will definately go back to this place!

One of my good friend recommended this place to eat one day after class and I'm glad he did! Don't be fooled by the outside decor because it's pretty welcoming once you get inside. I usually get the pad see ew or pad thai with beef or tofu here and it's always delicious, not too sweet , dry nor oily. It's one of my favorite place to go to. My service is always fast and the waitress is always welcoming, sweet and nice!

I have seen this place for over a year and a friend asked me the fun question "where should we go for lunch?" I suggested Thai's Corner Cuisine. I had never been there but, other than the location it looked interesting. When we pulled into the parking lot we noticed that there were not very many cars lol. When inside we both ordered the Chicken Pad Thai (spelled pud thai their). While waiting I looked around and I noticed that the building reminds me of the IHOP in Lynnwood, WA. I really like the colors that they used for decorating though. The large dark wood tables and chairs are nice too. Then the food :D it was so yummy! We both ordered 3 stars and it was amazing. I think this place should have been busier for lunch hour. The food, price, and atmosphere is great.

Absolutely the BEST! I've had almost everything on the menu and it's all been delicious! Love the decor, too!

I think they changed the owners, because this place is't as good as it was. The food is just mediocre and it lost its good taste.

Good place if you want some really authentic Thai food. The crab wonton( fried wonton w/ crab &cream cheese) The best!!! Favs, are the Panang curry, Pad Kee Mao and Cashew Chicken. Only flaw I have is service is a little slow. But all in all I always come here whenever I'm around the area.

Um, yum. Yummy yummy yummy. We tried this place last night - hadn't explored Thai food since we moved to the area, and we are so happy we checked it out. The moment we walked in the door, it smelled fabulous. As everyone has said, yup, it's an old IHOP. But they really did a great job of changing it up. It's lovely inside, comfortable, lit well, and decorated in shades of brown, turquoise, lime green. The furniture is big, heavy, dark wood decorated with bright spots of turquoise. We had crab won-tons and spring rolls - the won-tons were light and crisp and the spring rolls were delicious. The sauces were sweet and spicy. We followed with Pud See Ew with pork, and Crying Tiger. The Pud See Ew was delicious - the pork was tender, the noodles were fresh, the broccoli was cooked perfectly, and it was nice and spicy without being overwhelming. The Crying Tiger - thin slices of steak - was served with spinach leaves and a lovely citrus sauce. Again, the meat was really tender and cooked perfectly. We barely had enough left to take home. Service was friendly, and very attentive, especially as our server was flying solo on the floor. We went around 6pm on a Friday night, and there were three or four tables of people there. As we were leaving, more folks were showing up, and many seemed like regulars. We will definitely be going back, and bringing more folks with us.

I love ThaiHop (AKA Thai Corner)! Some of my favorite Thai food around. I would rather drive down to Burien than stay in West Seattle for their food. The atmosphere is, well, odd and I prefer to get take-out so we can eat in a more comfortable atmosphere. Everything I've had has been really good (I don't eat meat and can't speak of that), but my personal favs are the Thai Corner Noodles and Pineapple Curry (both with fried tofu). I recommend it to everyone.

When I don't prepare dinner, I go here. This place has tasty thai food. Their appetizers are ok, but their entrees are delicicious. Seriously, it is good thai food. The staff are friendly and warm. Order away! Happy eating.

This is my favorite Thai place! Everything I have had there was delicious, portions are large, and the prices are great. I usually get the fried rice and have also had the cashew chicken and coconut curry. I always get it as takeout as most do since the restaurant is usually empty. I haven't lived in Burien for years so I only get takeout here when I'm in the area. Today I had to settle for Thai food near my house in Northeast Seattle and it doesn't compare.

First time here and it was very good! So I would actually give this place 4 and a 1/2 stars. It is an old IHOP building. The interior is very spacious with nice high ceilings. You wanna talk about heavy duty chairs! I had the Basil Chicken with only 2 stars (I'm hesitant about going to higher stars in new places). As a friend would say, c'mon, go for it. So I'd say the menu is decent. And I am excited something else on the menu the next time I go there. Go check it out. It's a little tricky to get into the place because it is located near a busy intersection. Do it! AKA the "Thai-Hop"

Ok... I moved to Burien... not my first choice, but not hell either. This place is my comfort/angry/happy/lazy/any-reason food.... The people who own the place are just sweethearts & when I call in an order for pick up five minutes before they close, it's still amazing food & they are still happy to make it. The Thai Corner Noodles are my version of heaven on earth.. you can get almost anything with steamed or fried tofu, which means a lot to me. the peanut sauce is worth killing for.. I would have done three stars, but this place is in BURIEN, so that in it's self gets an extra star :)

Good food, friendly service, never crowded... As someone else mentioned, the salad rolls are great here. They're filled with fresh veggies, herbs and shrimp and come with a large side of peanut sauce that has a great kick. The only complaint I have is that they're not available for lunch orders as they're listed as appetizers. If you like shrimp in your entrees, you can feel comfortable paying the extra money for them here. (My broke people know what I mean...) They don't skimp and they're consistently cooked to perfection. You can tell that they use high quality ingredients here. Many dishes are heavy on the vegetables, which I like as well. I've experienced some inconsistency in their star rating for spice, but it doesn't stop me from coming back.

I absolutely love this place. They always remembered me after my 2nd visit. Our mainstays of chicken coconut soup, phad thai and panang are are super delicious. Nice cuts of meat and fresh veggies. They were great about my speice sensitivity when I got pregnant and remembered me after 5 months when I couldn't even take the lowest spice thai. They aren't skimpy on the rice like a lot of places are, and are super sweet servers and cooks.

I was disappointed. The tom yum soup was bland, and they serve small portions.

The couple times that I've dined here, I have only tried their noodle dishes. I expected more especially since I read a few good ratings/reviews here and there but my dining experiences have always ended in disappointment. Pad Thai was very bland Pad Ke Mao was "just" alright And the Pad Se Ew tasted BURNT I have eaten at many Thai restaurants and they have never been prepared short of flavor, unbalanced, and unpleasant to the palate. Although the service has been kind every time so I can acknowledged them for that. Otherwise the food isn't up to par with my taste buds.

This is the best Thai food I have ever had. I have been to every Thai restaurant in the area, Southcenter, Normandy Park, Des Moines. Nothing beats this place. The food is so fresh with so many delicious flavors and vegetables and so much food for your money. Please don't be intimidated by the location like I was. It doesn't look like much from the outside but it is beautiful on the inside. Whenever I have friends or family visit from out of town I always take them here and guess where they want to go eat the next time they visit (Thai Corner of course!) My favorite dish is the Thai basil fried rice with chicken.

I have had a lot of bad Thai and so I am hesitant to try new places. I have heard that this place, which I lovingly call ThaIhop, is the bomb. And well they don't be lying! Phad Thai - Good, Panang - Good, Soy Noodles - Good, Phad See Iew - Good, Green Curry - Good! All of it was so good! In fact I am a long time fan of panang and ThaIhop's panang is on the mark but after trying their AMAZIING green curry I don't even want panang anymore! It is that good people. I went last night, I have leftovers but I want to go back for lunch today. Is that wrong?

We, in my office, lovingly refer to this place as Thai-Hop. Don't let the weird building or bulky chairs fool you. The food is amazing. I would come here every day if I didn't care about getting fat (or slowly going broke). The prices are low, the food is tasty, the servers are friendly and efficient. Seriously, what more could you ask for?

I went here with my wife recently - the pud thai wasn't terrific, but it wasn't bad, either. She just didn't order it spicy enough for my taste. What I really enjoyed, however, was the pineapple curry. Delicious! Prices are very reasonable and the service was as good as everybody else says.

Tasty classic thai food. I loved the simple yet delicious garlic chicken I ordered. Veggies were cooked just right, still had crunch to them, which I appreciate since its really easy to over cook them.

For a Thai restaurant re-purposing the one-time home of an I-HOP, this is one excellent dining experience. They have a great menu of the classics anyone going to a Thai restaurant should expect, the prices are very reasonable, and the staff is very friendly and attentive. The dishes are all delicious and I've never had anything less than a great dining experience in the dozen or so times I've eaten there. I have to admit, it's also a little fun to have delicious Thai inside a place you can still imagine provided 5 different flavors of syrup on each table. International House of Thai Goodness.

I drive by this place almost daily and I finally stopped to eat there. I was pleasantly surprised. Good prices, generous servings, and caters to vegetarians. I had the Tom Kha and they made it with a vegetarian broth, it was so good! Very nice people and great service! We will be returning soon.

Surprisingly good Thai food. I have ordered take out 5 times and it has been amazing. It is as good as Thai food in Bangkok.

At around 5 pm, other than one other couple, we were the only ones there. We figured that it was because the night was a bit young, but even after we left sometime after 6, no one else came. Which was strange. This food is quite tasty, the decor is good (although, admittedly, there is no humongous fish tank with exotic species swimming around), and, while the service may be a bit lackadaisical, did I mention, the food is quite tasty. Too bad we didn't think of taking a photo as it not only tasted good, but looked quite pretty. The two stars I got was perfect and the three stars my husband got was perfect for him. However, I think she went a bit more by how we reacted to the thought of stars; my two stars seemed like a one star most places and my husband's three stars was probably more like two and a half. And prices are reasonable. The mixed seafood dish my husband ordered was enough for two people and was only about $10. My garlic beef (again, enough for two) was about $8 or 9. The Thai iced tea / iced coffee is $2.50; less than a grande at Starbucks. Rice is a bit extra - and, of course, so was the nummy homemade coconut ice cream. For two people and a 20% tip, we escaped under $50. (Sorry, but although the place has alcohol, we don't drink it, so can't comment on that aspect at all.) Two minor food nits: no brown rice - and no fried bananas! And a logistics note: Coming from the east off 405 (or from the north for that matter), the place is somewhat difficult to get into. Although it's right on the corner of 1st Ave. S. and whatever the end of the freeway is, when you turn left to go to the restaurant, there's a median. So pretty much, if you're coming from the east or north, you'll have to go 'round the block to get in. And if you're not going back east on 405 when you leave, you have to cross a lane of traffic to go north.... Like some of the other posters, I'm concerned about the place not having enough customers to stay in business, so I'm hoping that this review will generate a bit of business for this very tasty restaurant. (I have to say that it's at least tied in my mind main-dish-wise for our usual favorite, Royal Orchid in Renton.)

I am a real fan of Thai food, and have to admit that I found this place by accident when my sis and I were on the way to the airport, looking for someplace to stop and eat. There was construction on the road, so it was a little challenging to get into the parking lot, but we decided to try anyway, and were not disappointed. We were both able to get something we liked, and I was able to get tofu and it wasn't a big deal. If I am in the area, I would stop in again.

Ate there last week. Definitely bland. I ordered 3 star phad kee mao and found it bland. My wife's fried rice was also not particularly good. We did takeout. Will not go there again.

Don't let the location or lack of cars scare you away. Come for the excellent food and great atmosphere. The service was excellent - very attentive. A good value as well. (This review is from a visit a few months ago - I see a recent review that mentions a potential ownership change - will have to investigate)

A very nice thai spot where you can count on friendly service. We have enjoyed the green curry and a few other items I can't remember the name of. Everything was fresh and well prepared. You should put it on your list of places to try. They need your support as it never seems very busy.

Alright, alright... I pretty much hate the idea of a bunch of people reading my review and turning my favorite, never overly busy Thai restaurant into another trampled through establishment. But, on the other hand, I hate the thought of them ever going out of business, so... On the whole, during more than a decade living in the Seattle Metro area, this is by far the best Thai food I have EVER had. Perfect, not overly rich sauces. They use minimal grease and lots of veggies! Meat has always been good quality (they have yummy trout!) and the service has also been great. I like the fact that three stars means three stars here - they don't tone it down to compensate for my white face. The fresh rolls are better than I have had in my life. Perfect bursting combination of shrimp, spinach and basil - not filled with undercooked rice noodles like some establishments do... Their peanut sauce is also excellent. Not overly sweet, with just a hint of spice. My only caveat is that if you are a die-hard phad tai fan, you may not like theirs as much as other places, because it's not as salty or greasy (which in my book = a good thing). If you are said fan, check out Thai Tom's in the U-Dist. for good ol' fashioned, hangover curing stuff.
