Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Yes, it's overpriced, at $25 for a pizza and over $4 for a bottle of beer. But I guess that's the price you pay for one of the few tasty, trendy places in Bremerton, conveniently located next to Safeway. And it's not terrible when split 3 ways. The Salty Orchard (apple slices, blue cheese, prosciutto, and basil) was delicious. I LOVE fruit with salty foods. The combination of sweet and savory, crispy and chewy... mmmm, love it. I probably overdosed on my daily recommended amount of sodium, but yummy saltiness is worth it. The crust was my ideal degree of medium-thick, soft, and slightly chewy. The have a large beer selection. I enjoyed the pear cider, which tasted like juice... with a little kick... *wink wink*

Best pizza in Bremerton and a huge selection of beer. What more could you ask for?

We came here after leaving a different restaurant for not being acknowledged for about 20 minutes. We were hungry and in a bad mood and this place was exactly what we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful, we were sat immediately and our waitress was very helpful with navigating their awesome beer selection. Great local beers on tap that didn't disappoint. For the kids' pizza they bring the toppings to the table and let them decorate it themselves which my kids really seemed to enjoy. The pizza was great, probably some of the best I've had. Overall a great end to a crappy evening. We definitely found a new go-to place for family dinner night.
(5)Steve S.
The pizza and sandwiches are always good. Extensive selection of beer in bottles, good selection of beer in tap. Service is always stellar.
(5)Christine R.
I really like the pizza they serve here. I've actually never eaten here, but rather have had it for take out for work lunches. I will say, they have really good pizza. Their salads are also very tasteful. I will consider coming back here for dinner with the husband and kids in the near future.
(4)Devon R.
Love all the gourmet pizza and specialty beer!! Fun little pizza joint with a twist!
(5)J.C. M.
First and foremost: large and incredible selection of beer. The beer selection is so vast, that if you ask the wait staff for a beer list, they'll probably just laugh and then ask you what you're into and make a recommendation. They also have shelves and shelves of unique Pacific NW beers that you can purchase or just drink right then and there. The pizza is fresh and delicious and cooked in an oven right in front of you and the quality and care that they put into everything they make is obvious. The sandwiches (like "the best sandwich you've had all day") is awesome. The decor is really cool and unique and they're usually listening to some great music. Word of advice, on Fridays and Saturdays, get there early to avoid the rush. If you don't beat the rush however, just wait to be seated. It'll be worth it. It's hard to find a better place for me to grab a beer and a slice of pizza after work. Highly recommend.

Just came back from the Toad House Pizza pub tonight. I left pretty frustrated. We ordered cheesy bread and a half and half pizza. the cheesy bread took forever. When we got it, i was pretty disappointed that an artisan type restaurant was using sandwich bread with tons of mozzarella as their cheesy bread. I kind of expected maybe home made bread from their pizza stove. I can get this anywhere. The Pizza came a bit later, and they had half of the pizza wrong. the waitress apologized and said they were going to make a smaller replacement pizza for the botched half. By the time my pizza came out, my wife had long been done eating, it had been well over twenty minutes. I was frustrated for having to wait so long, that i asked for it to go. the waitress was nice, but offered no discount for the inconveniences. The pizza itself was fine, nothing special really. There are many other pizza joints i would rather patronage before ever going back to the Toad house. And if the bartender ever reads this, maybe you could be a bit more welcoming to customers, instead of grumpily walking people to their seats and slamming the menus on the table. Just a thought. Save yourself the time and money and go somewhere else.

I come up here from San Diego to visit my pops and I always have to make a stop for the bourbon BBQ pizza and great selection of beers!
(5)Thomas M.
Great beers and the best pizza north of the Rock in Tacoma. The crust is phenomenal and they put on more cheese than anyone else I can think of. The toppings are good but not quite perfect. Overall I would eat here 10 straight times before even considering another local option.

Was in town visiting family and we found this place. Took our daughter and neices out for lunch. I cant remember what sandwhich one of my neices ordered but she absolutely went crazy over it. She loved it. Her sister had ordered a salad and when she saw and smelled her sisters sandwich she ended splitting it with her. The portions were generous. We ordered a pizza and it was one of the best tasting pizzas i have had in a long time. The beer we had on tap was very good(ate there a few months ago and have now just had the chance to review so sorry cant remember what we had.) The service was great. Next time we come back to my hometown for a visit will have to stop in again. I highly recommend this place if you have craving for good pizza and sandwiches.
(5)Gary W.
Fantastic pizza! Lots of beer choices. Some of it is a little pricey. Atmosphere was great. Owners and staff were very polite and very pleasant.
(4)Jeff R.
Our second time here and we had the same server. She was very good and personable. The pizza was good not my favorite crust but good. Everyone was very good as far as the employees go. The owner needs to know that when you treat the restaurant as your own meeting place it is off putting to your customers. This happened the first time we were there. You will have no problem finding a beer to drink here just choosing one might be a problem.

I've been to the Toad House a few times in the past, but since the last time I was there I've found no reason to return. The first couple of times I've been there we got pizza. While they do seem to take a while to prepare and cook them, they were decent enough, but not good enough to make me be amazed. It is better than most of the pizza chains around here, however. So with that it's not bad. Since Toad House is also a pub, my bf and I decide to go there for "pub grub" and order the bangers and mash, which runs about $12.00. I always hear about bangers and mash from television, and imagine big sausages and a big portion of mashed potatoes. However when I got it, it was the smallest portion of it I'd ever seen. Hardly even worth $12! 2 small wieners and a palm sized portion of potatoes. You'd think for $12 it must at least taste amazing. But that wasn't even there. I was so upset. This was at least last year, and since then I've seen no reason to return. I hope that they've either dropped the price on that abomination by now or decided to be like a REAL pub and serve the proper proportion.
(3)Michelle G.
I'm a regular here. Fresh, quality pizza and a nice environment with super-friendly staff. For those who detest the 'fast-food' pizzas offered by national chains, this is the place for you in the area. For kids - ask for Tadpole pizza. They'll bring the pizza dough with sauce on it and a plate of toppings to the table so your children can assemble their pizza themselves. Love it! If you're headed in with kids on a weekend, be at the restaurant no later than 5:15 or be prepared to wait for a while which is always hard with kids at dinner time. Definitely recommend Toad House for a casual evening out with the family.
(4)Amy S.
I went there last night, (Monday) with a friend. The place was dead for the first time which was a treat because it is usually so busy the food can take awhile to come out. The service was fast and friendly and the pizza was so good, fresh and worth the extra $. Large pizza with loads of toppings, two ice teas and the bill was $30.00. I love the crust on the pizza, fresh, good consistency and a mild woody flavor. The toppings are fresh and high quality. This place is habit forming! I think they are up to 115 beers. They have a well stocked selection of Microbrews and other tough to find yummy beers. I discovered I love Hoegaarden, Belgium beer they serve.
(4)Sarah K.
When we visited, the wait staff allowed a large party to control the obscene volume of the restaurant through our entire visit, allowed the same large table of patrons to take pulls from a growler and get so riled that men were falling from their chairs. Fun is fun but letting a table of obnoxious people ruin our meal is bull. I guess the staff knew where their tip was coming from, cause they sure didn't get one from me. The food was undercooked, I imagine that the kitchen couldn't maintain the heat of their bricks from cranking out the pizzas to feed the large group... and the waitress was unavailable to inform of the food. Jeez, really? Good luck.
(2)Roxie K.
BEST Pizza I have found here in the States. Tastes JUST like in Italy and I have SO missed that!
(5)Jamie M.
I'd heard people talking about this place for awhile, but for some reason thought it was further into Bremerton. But it's right there with easy access from 303 in the little Safeway complex next to Wal-Mart. We split the four cheese pizza, which had a TON of feta. I kept asking my boyfriend if their sauce was sweetened or if it was just the feta putting my tongue into some sort of cheese coma. The pizza would have been better with less feta or something else...olives or something to help offset the flavor. My boyfriend has been here several times and said that the four cheese was not their best pizza that he's tried. We also had the artichoke dip, which was pretty tasty. Service was okay. Our server asked us if we were ready to order and we said no...then he kind of stayed away for longer than necessary (10 minutes perhaps) and I did have to wait awhile for a refill. But he was friendly enough and it didn't take too long for our pizza to come out. They were offering a lunch buffet that I saw a few folks go for, probably a nice option if you work in the area during the week. I think I need to give it another go around to get a complete feel for the place. It's not on my new top places to go when I'm in Kitsap county list...but I'd definitely go here over Dominos.
(3)Kyle M.
Really good pizza, but in no way was it worth the cost. Good selection of pizzas and great selection of beer, but that's all it has to offer. The staff was friendly, but it was slow and she was by herself, so had it been busy... I'd expect a reduction in the level of service. Try it; just expect an inflated bill for it. Cheers
(3)Nathan N.
Pretty good pizza and beer joint. I wish the waitress could have kept up with my beer drinking. I was staring at an empty glass a few times before our pizza arrived. The white cheese spinach pizza we had was delicious. The BBQ Pizza was okay.
(3)Sean O.
Fantastic pizza, the best I've found in many years. Wood fired pizza oven. Great pub grub menu. Great NW Beer selection. The wait staff is a little in consistent but they seem to have a lot of heart. A nice place to go to enjoy the food, your friends, and relax. However, it is always busy, so expect a wait some times. That seems to be true of all the good restaurants on the West side of the sound.

My husband and I went for a late lunch, it was almost 2:00 and thought tha t would be an ideal time to try a place that was getting rave reviews. We ordered and waited and waited and waited. Forty five minutes later we still had not gotten our food, way too long when there were not that many people in the place. The pizza was good, but the crust was burned. The manager did come over and offer to take 10% off the bill and apologized but we're not sure we'll go back.
(2)Laura C.
My favorite pizza place in Kitsap county. A bit pricier than other pizza places, but I'm willing to pay for a higher quality pizza.
(5)Jessica C.
I wish more places offered pizza with a crust like the ones they have here because you would find me eating pizza out way more often - and maybe they would have more competition, which would in turn lower their prices a bit? As other reviews have stated, the pizza comes at a price but I think it's delicious and definitely the best I have had in the area (my husband is a pizza addict, so I've had my fair share). I would also venture to say, it's some of the best pizza I have enjoyed in the States - second only to pizza I had in Italy and Singapore (yes, Singapore). When we ate there the first time, the kitchen was backed up due to at least 4 tables sitting down about the same time, so we had a long wait but our server was sweet and apologetic and very attentive. I enjoy trying different beers and they have a rotating tap, so there's always something new, which is appreciated - but the fact that they price gouge so much is not. Although I wish their prices were more fair for their location (we're in Bremerton, not Seattle here), I have returned and probably will again just for some of that deliciousness.

I gotta say...i wasn't really impressed. Granted, i am a vegan that was going to lunch at pizza place. When i asked if their crust was made with egg(silly but some places use egg in their dough even though they can make it easily and less costly without) the waitress was unsure. She was, however, pretty sure that the gluten-free one was egg free. Yes they have a gluten-free option which is pretty awesome...although they buy it pre-made...that's ok...baby steps...one at a time. So i ordered the gluten free option...it was more expensive and didn't come with a salad like their normal lunch special. I understand that it would cost more since it's made from rice flour and all special like, but no salad? Seemed like punishment for having an allergy...separating from the group for being different. Well, i guess it wasn't all THAT bad...but gosh darnit...i wanted salad without having to pay extra. ok..ok...enough about the salad. When my gluten-free, cheese-free bit of tomato covered card board came, they had also forgotten one of my toppings...this just makes me pouty. My friend's pizzas were swimming with cheese. In fact, my super cheese loving friend said that it was a bit too much. This is coming from a ovo-lacto vegetarian who will never EVER be vegan because of her undying love of cultured milk product. You get the point. A bit heavy on the dairy. The waitress was a sweet heart...it can be trying to deal with special need customers...i know this...i know that i can be one. She was great about it. The atmosphere was nice...maybe a bit too developed...but you could see the pizza oven from where were sitting...which was nice...kind of comforting to see where your food is being cooked. I'm more then willing to take on this place again. I have hope.

Ok, Salty Orchards Pizza, you won me over to five stars. I can't deny it, I'm a Toad House addict. 'Nuff said.
(5)Jason R.
Other reviews have gone in-depth on this restaurant and pub but I felt the need to add another voice to the few that liked the food and selection of beers but didn't appreciate the service. I went in expecting it to be slow since I read the reviews before going so I wasn't surprised. The cook was even getting aggravated with the waitress. The place wasn't full and there was no reason for the slow service other than a slow waitress. About all I can say. I will return here because Kitsap needs more places like this and maybe the management will read this and make a change. I suggest you try it too but be prepared. I had a dilemma on the stars since 4 seemed to high and 3 seemed too low. The food and beers were 4 stars but the service was 2 stars.
(3)Kaeli C.
Don't let the outside fool you, this place is cute and tasty with an obscene amount of beers. Little spendy but totally worth it!
(5)Sheilah C.
I love this place for lunch! They have a great pizza and salad or soup special. It is a big personal pizza and I always take half home. I have eaten at most of the local pizza places in the Silverdale - East Bremerton and this is my favorite. Love their crust and everything always is fresh tasting. I have had nothing but excellent service. I would highly recommend the The Toad House!
(4)Sara O.
Went here for lunch the other day. Got a personal pizza, green salad and soft drink for $10. The pizza was just ok, I love cheese, but there was too much cheese and it just made it chewy. Other than that it was decent. Ok vibe, good service. Overall, nothing special but not terrible either.

The most wonderful pizza - a sweet, tasty crust to die for - plus great and original combinations of toppings and fantastic service. I've been wanting to try this place for over a year now....but my job kept taking me out of town, and now I've finally moved to the area, so I couldn't wait to try it. I called on Friday morning to order a couple of huge pizzas to take to work for my staff. I ordered the Salty Orchard pizza, and when I arrived to pick it up, the owners were sweet, punctual, professional, and - hey - not bad looking either!! I can say that because I'm a mom of three grown daughters!! The bouquet of the ingredients and the pizza crust drove me crazy on the way to work. The pizza itself was a wonderful marriage of crispy green apples, pungent blue cheese, prosciutto, honey and basil. Everyone was a fan...and it was gone in a heartbeat. The restaurant itself was lined with an incredible variety of beer. What a find! I'll be a longtime fan.

We happened onto The Toad House. It was on Valentine's day and it was packed. We started with the cheese bread. Fresh basil and mozzarella. It could have been left in the oven a little longer to allow it to be crisper, but it was good. We shared the Best sandwich you had all day. It had too much mayo and mustard, I just scraped that off and asked for some Italian dressing.that made it even better. The sandwich came with chicken noodle soup. The noodles were a little on the mushy side, and the soup could have used some dill weed for more flavor, but it was not bad. Then the pizza. We had the Darrell's. loaded with fresh whole milk mozzarella . The sauce is wonderful! The crust taste like fresh bread. This is Kitsap's best pizza!!! And I have tried them all, and have not found any that I have liked until The Toad House. Normally I like thick crust pizza, but this is wonderful! The staff was awesome! We will be back!
(4)Adrian R.
It's really all about the beer isn't it? Great selection of beers and the plaques have given some of my friends a reason to live. However it can be frustrating order beer when every time you pick a beer off their list it's not in stock. The staff is usually pretty friendly but it seems to be an odd job people take when their band isn't on tour. You can tell their just biding their time there. Pizza is some of the better in town with some unique pies that have been pretty rewarding but there is better in town. I've had nothing bad here but somehow it dosn't add up to 4 stars for me but if you want a good pizza and don't mind a little bit of wait I have no doubt that Toad House can deliver.
(3)Michelle W.
I am really not fond of pizza but my husband loves it so this is a unique review for me. It has strangely cutesy decor with flowered vines and mushroom ceiling fans (but I think that had the fairylike toadhouse theme) which sort of clashes with the hip music and the tattooed servers. (Not that I mind that) I don't drink beer but the peeps I was with were quite impressed. They said it was one of the best Northwest selections that they have seen. Okay I work in a restaurant so my eye can appreciate quality ingredients. And that they were. Okay let me say that it was the best pizza I have ever had (reiterate I am not fond of pizza). It is cooked in an open kichen in a brick oven brought to you on the table still on the wood slat and placed on a rack. The tomatoes were Roma tomatoes and not the cheapie ones and they were not quite the same in size so it looked like hand sliced veggies and not machine sliced. The basil was shredded fresh not dried. Big chunks of meat. They brought you parmesan cheese to spoon on because it was fresh shaved (not shaken from a bottle). And the breadsticks we got ...yum. The pesto dipping sauce was not all blended like it was store; there were chunks of pine nuts and basil like it was hand stirred. I got the Chicken Club. It was fantastic. Fresh grilled chicken breast, roma tomatoes, thick canadian bacon, crunchy lettuce, with a garlic ranch spread. I salvate when telling others. The service for us wasn't bad. It is small so getting a table may take a few but our big pierced tattooed server guy was great and attentive. I had an absolutely lovely time except as we were getting ready to leave, the kids had to go to the restroom so they went up towards the kitchen area (which is open to the dining room) and asked a girl directions. The chick cook in dreads started making fun of my kids as they went by. Hey I work in a restaurant and I am married to a cook. Trash talk happens. But I heard it and my kids heard it , so if you are stupid enough to do it on an open line, that takes a star away. ------------------------------------------- Revisited review: I added the star back. I was probably a little harsh because I was a little mad. But since then I received an apology email from the aforementioned cook. It was sincere and professional. The food was so amazing I just had to give it back. I have even told several people/customers at my restaurant about it (we don't serve pizza so no competition :o) ....)

The Toad House is a small little place. My family went in before 5 PM and you can tell that if it was a Friday (we went on Thursday) how it could get real crowded. The staff was very friendly however and we were well taken care of. There is definitely a great selection of beer there as far as about 40 different types in bottles and another 15 on tap. Pizza was really good as well as the toasted garlic cheese bread. The bread was very soft and came out warm and great. Pretty much it about melted in your mouth. We took our children with also and the staff was very nice to them. The oldest chose the "tadpole" pizza where she was able to put her own pizza together at the table to be cooked. Even still it came out with all the others. I had the bacon cheeseburger pizza, which again was excellent. My wife made her own pizza with the white garlic sauce and chicken. The garlic sauce was very strong, but still very good. All in all everything was great; the only complaint would be the price. For all the above we walked out with a bill of $75 (including tip). Not expecting to have spent that much for pizza. The best time to go would be around 2-4 for the "happy hour" specials where they have a 10" 3-topping pizza for $10.

This is my first review for a restaurant online, I don't normally find it necessary, but felt it was needed in this case. I was in there a few weekends ago with my family. While finishing up, I took a bite of my daughter's pizza and bit into something rock hard. I realized that whatever it was had managed to break a piece of my molar off. I pulled the piece of tooth out of my mouth and informed the waitress about it. She seemed at a complete loss as what to do or say. I told her that I wanted to leave my information, and take some info from her, since I would have to go see my dentist once the week began. I went to the bathroom to see how bad it was, and by the time I returned she had already cleared away my plate with the pieces of tooth on it (convenient). I have waited to say anything due to wanting to see if the damage to my tooth required anything other than a filling (which is complete now). My problem is not that something happened, there is always a risk of that, but the manner in which it was handled, or not handled, is my issue. I have not received ANY type of communication from the owner/manager about this. I am not looking for anything other than a check to see that everything is alright, if I was I would have argued for some kind of discount on the meal that broke my tooth. They couldn't even be bothered to do that. While the food is great, especially the kid meal where they build a pizza, I will not be going there again since there is little to no care for their customers.

We had a wonderful experience here after a disappointing Christmas-event in Poulsbo. I got the last bottle of a more difficult to find cider and their lovely beer list makes picky drinkers smile. I will say they seemed to have so many taps, but so few of them were actually in use. Strange. The bruschetta was delightful and fresh tasting. Three people shared a Salty Orchard pie (recommended to us by our sweet and attentive waitress)that was to DIE for. Honey on a pizza! Who knew?
(4)Brian B.
Great pizza and an AMAZING beer selection
(4)Julia S.
After a year of wanting to go to this place but not wanting to drive to Bremerton we finally made the trek from Poulsbo. Overall thoughts: like the atmosphere, the large beer selection, and the pizza was fresh and delicious. However, $70 later for a few beers, one large pizza and two kid's pizzas, I felt a little financially raped. Next time, we will go on Monday when they have $9 pitchers and order one small pizza for the kids and one large pizza for the us. Overall great pizza and beer but not a "cheap" date.

Stopped for a quick business lunch. Our server was very helpful and friendly. Took time to make sure we enjoyed what we ordered by asking questions. And we were not disappointed with our Pizza!

I called ahead the day before because our anniversary celebration had grown from just us two to eight people and a birthday boy. I explained I wanted to know if the preferred the heads up or if we should just come in being a Friday night. I know the get busy. I called when we were half way there from Tacoma to let them know were were still coming and were about 15 to 30 min away. The server who answered the phone was the same from the night before and said thanks and she would try and get tables ready. When we arrived the owner was at the front bar. Let us know it would be a little longer. He did ask a table if they would move over to the next table so he could place the two closer tables together. They did looked like they were getting ready to leave but stayed a while longer. Our server was amazing. When soda or beer was empty there was another one. The artichoke dip is delicious and the pizza out of this world. I had the vegi plus hamburger and my hubby had the BBQ chicken. I always make sure I get the roasted garlic. Its lime candy. We asked the owner if he would ever consider opening up in Tacoma and he said no because he didn't want to complete with his favorite pizza place. So guess I have to go there now.

So I have been to the pub once before today and it was so good that we had to go again. We were greeted with a smile and seated almost instantly. Our waitress was very sweet and friendly. We ordered the garlic bread, one 10 inch margurita pizza and another pizza (I'm sorry I can't remember the name). It took a little while for our food but when it came it was well prepped and extremely tasteful! We finished and again was left with a smile and a wonderful experience for our valentines day dinner (: thank you !
(5)R S.
Delicious pizza, salad, and beer! There was a very good beer selection, and a nice atmosphere. The waiter (Derrick) was definitely the heart of this place with spot on recommendations and charisma!

Yay! I'm a fan!! That is what Yelp says when I pick 4 stars. :) Let me say, the reason I didn't give the place 5 stars is because Yelp says "as good as it gets" and honestly...having lived in Italy...well. Sorry. Toad House is no Italy. But hey--no one is!! (except Italy LOL) So we got the bruschetta, which we loved, and a "Standard" pizza which was various meats (sausage, pepperoni) black olives, mushrooms and maybe another topping I'm forgetting. It was $21, which seemed fair enough for handmade pizza from a brick pizza oven. Which I love. Hubby got some sort of local type beer. I think. I got chardonnay. It was all great. We are recent transplants to the area (from a "foodie" location) and I've been overall, quite bummed out by the amount of chain restaurants and lack of just GOOD quality food in the Silverdale area, and so finding this place just brightened my day. Goat cheese on pizza? Yes! And they have a great beer selection. I'm not a beer drinker but the beer list was a few pages long LOL. They don't have a huge menu, which personally, I like, because then they can do what they do the best that they can KWIM? So go, try some pizza and have some beer. You won't regret it. :) I know we'll be back!

I'll preface my review with "to each their own".... now, my thoughts on the Toad House. It's a very small & simply laid out restaurant, that looks more like a deli. I have been here twice now, just to give it a fair shake. I've tried two different pizzas and have gone during separate months. Both visits have left me thinking this may actually be some of the worst pizza I've had. I'm not bashing the joint (see my opening statement), but I can can get better pizza at Dominos--and that's pretty sad. The rub: I began eating my pizza the instant it was placed before me. I don't think the pizza should be so thin and/or soggy that it folds over my hand and the toppings slide off--leaving me with a crust... that's now assumed the role of a glove, from harbor freight tools. None of the should happen straight away. I like pizza that's able to be eaten one handed. It's best (for me) if the meats & cheeses don't run away from the crust like its on a bad date. The flavor has been great...both visits/pizzas. I really liked the spicy pizza I had the first time through. The portion size was great. I've only had the personal pizzas, but they're quite filling. I do enjoy their selection of beers, also. The real pluses to this place: -awesome & helpful staff -lots of variety, for a small eatery -great flavor -perfect portions & decently priced All in all though, this is nowhere near the "best" pizza around. Even still, It's lunch worthy.

Delicious pizza and mindblowing artichoke dip. Seriously, so glad I picked it for our appetizer. I was warm, gooey, spinichy, creamy, artichokey, and had a nice broiled layer of cheese on top. So savory, warm, and satisfying. And I loved that it was paired with a lightly toasted baguette (read: still soft, not overly crunchy and painful when you scratch the roof of your mouth!).

Look at that gigantic wall of beers! They're not fooling around here at all. They offer a huge variety of good beers in bottles, and quite a few on tap, too. It would be nice if they chilled the bottles, for sure, but it's not the end of the world that they don't. The tap lineup is pretty fantastic. The cheese bread here is tasty, and the pizzas are nice enough. They make the crust in house, and they cook the pies in a big oven with an open flame. It's a poured concrete oven, but that's still pretty cool. The crust gets a nice little blackening in spots. The toppings have good flavor, though they do use some odd choices with the cheese (think there was some cheddar in there?). Overall, they're not really doing anything amazing with the pies, but they're clearly made from scratch and with some love. I would eat them again. What really stands out here is the devotion to the beer list. They clearly make a big effort to please the beer lover.

Great beer selection, friendly service, very good pizza. Definitely a gem in the area.

Don't get me wrong, I love Toadhouse Pizza and feeling like I'm supporting the local small business owner. But my biggest grip is a pizza pub joint that does not have a written beer list of on tap beers. When asking staff about beers on tap "Its an IPA" or being greeted with irritation because they have probably repeated the on tap beer list multiple times that same day. The pizza is delicious but so is the Cloverleaf. The draw for me is to go for the specialty beer and rotation of taps. But when the staff is not always knowledgeable of what is being served or pissed off when being asked about the selection makes me rethink my choice of returning. Print, write on a chalkboard, whiteboard the beers on tap, its not difficult and saves everyone less of a headache.

I have decided to eat through their menu of sandwiches and paninis. On my second visit to this lovely restaurant a week ago, I ordered their Garlic Chicken Club sandwich and found it simply divine. Soft, chewy bread that cradled chunks of juicy meat and crunchy vegetables. And the dressing! Oh my, the dressing! So, so good to the very last bite. I was quite sad when I reached the end of my dinner. Wonderful job, Toad House!
(5)Andy L.
Outstanding pizza....quality pizza, not cookie cutter, OUTSTANDING service, great selection of uncommon beers and common. I go there once or twice a month and never disappoints me
(5)Gretchen R.
Best pizza place in town (and probably on this whole side of the Sound). That's all I really need to say...but I'll elaborate... The whole roasted garlic appetizer makes me drool thinking about it. I've only ever tried the 'Winning Combo' pizza, no olives, add goat cheese. It is so good I haven't been able to try anything else. Why mess with a sure thing, or haha, a winning combo??! Though I swear next time I dine there I'll try to mix up my order a bit....explore their appetizing menu for once. Maybe half Winning Combo, half something else. Everything else looks delicious too, so I'm sure they won't disappoint. They are super accommodating for people with custom orders & allergies too. They brought out box labels from the kitchen so I could look at the ingredients to avoid allergens. Very friendly staff. This is my go-to delicious pizza place in the area. Good drinks, good music, and amazing food.
(5)RK E.
Great pub experience. They make it fun for the kids with the do it yourself pizza creations. I love the sandwiches. I havent had one I didnt like. The owners are hands on and help make a welcoming experience. For the guys that like a variety of beers they mix it up and keep it interesting. Good place, fun time, good pub food.
(5)Emily W.
They have a perpetual special, the Salty Orchards pizza :) It has green apple, fresh basil, honey, blue cheese and proscuitto on it. Hey, don't make that face!! It's delicious!! We branched out and tried the sandwiches, salads and other pizzas but we always come back to the Salty Orchards. Why? Cause it's always there. ALWAYS. BEST pizza in Kitsap County! Great beer selection too...if you're in to that kinda thing ;)

We are new to the area, and were looking for a local pizza place that serves up gluten-free fare one Sunday afternoon. We called ahead to make sure they had an option for me, and were told they offer gluten free pizza. You can build your GF pizza anyway you like, and the crust is a premade 12" one. I ordered a chicken, feta, red onion pizza with BBQ sauce instead of marinara. Hubbs ordered their "Luau" pizza, which was red sauce, pineapple, olives, mozzarella, chicken, and bacon. Mine was really good--notice I didn't 't say "really good for gluten free pizza"---it was just really good. The crust tasted like a regular thin crust pizza, and the toppings were delicious. Hubbs said his wasn't a favorite, but it was still very good. I think if it had been closer to a true Hawaiian pizza (nix the chicken and bacon), he would have liked it better. We also ordered the kiddie pizza for our son, and got it with just the crust and the cheese, no sauce. Add in a couple of non-alc drinks, and we were stuffed by the time we left. So why the 3 stars? Well, for starters, we arrived on a Sunday afternoon right at lunch time. The place was empty. Literally. We were the ONLY folks in there--and it still took our food about 20 minutes to come out....after the initial 10 to be settled and get drinks and put in the order. I find that a bit much, but whatever, it wasn't unbearable. The waitress was very very attentive, and made sure we were set and enjoying the food once it did come. She almost sounded like she was the owner, I'm not entirely sure--but whoever she was, she definitely earned her tip. The bill came and my jaw dropped. $50--for three "small" pizzas. Really? Back home (in CT), you can get three LARGE pizzas for less than that! We visited again the following week on a Friday night at dinnertime. Like I said, the pizza was good, and we wanted to give it another shot, this time ordering less due to the prices. There were 2 other tables there when we came in, both were already given drinks and whatnot. One had their food, and one was waiting. We were seated, and it took about 10 minutes for us to even get a waitress over to ask what we wanted to drink. Really? We were sitting right in front of the main counter. Drinks are dropped off, I say "thank you", waitress says nothing and walks away. Okay....bit rude there, not gonna lie. Food comes, it's delicious again. I ordered the same, and hubbs split his pizza with the toddler. Bill was about $30 once it was all said and done. The service during this visit was so incredibly slow, that it was almost insulting. They weren't mobbed, they weren't even close to being "busy", in my opinion, and still we waited forever for our food. So here's the final verdict: If we ever NEED pizza (as in a serious craving that will not go away), we may order take-out from this place. Maybe. We'll at least think about it. But we won't ever come back to eat in, the service is just too slow to justify leaving a $6-10 tip. I'd rather save that money and just eat at home. The food, it's great. It's great that they offer gluten free options for folks like me, and it's great that it tastes like real pizza. The prices? Well, they suck. It's yummy, but it's NOT worth $50. In this economy, I wonder if the owners even realize just how big of a chunk that is in someone's food budget. Lower the prices, give your staff a good talking-to about promptness and politeness, and it would definitely be a place we'd return to time and time again.
(3)Elisabeth H.
This was a wonderful dinner. We went with a large group they were very accommodating. The selection of beer options is wonderful. What was even more amazing was the food. We had the artichoke dip and a Luau pizza and it was heavenly. The server was friendly and attentive. I will be coming back soon. I will make the trip from tacoma just fir the food.
(5)Matt L.
I love this place! I'd probably give it 5 stars if I didn't have comparisons from a more foodie area. The pizza though is great - 5 stars on the pizza! Good beer list, cozy atmosphere once you're inside and forget you're in a strip mall. Anytime we want to go out for pizza this is the place! Highly recommended!
(4)Vic M.
I really want to give you five stars but I just can't. Here's why: The inconsistency amongst your pizza chefs, and the service can be aloof. That said, when you're on YOU'RE FRIGGIN ON. Beer. Did I say beer? I mean BEER. Lots o lots o lots o beer from near and far. Definitely worth giving a shot.
(4)Garrus V.
I will begin this review by stating that the only type of food that I am snobbish about is pizza; I'm from the northeast. Unfortunately, I don't know what Toad House is serving, but it isn't pizza. They do have, however, have very good sandwiches and an EXCELLENT artichoke dip appetizer. I wanted to give this place four stars, but their staff is not the friendliest. I would recommend Toad House sandwiches and the artichoke dip, and that's all.
(3)Becky G.
We have been back several times with friends ( no kids, adult time :) ), and this place is really good. Our friends live close to Toad House, so it is an easy swing there for pizza and beer. The pizza is always really good, and we have tried several. Our favorite remains the Four Cheese. The salads are always fresh and tasty. Probably what keeps us coming back the most is their selection of beer. The guys like to try whatever new brew they have on tap, their wine selection is good, too. This place is great to hang out with friends and enjoy some good food and good beer.
(4)Symph J.
Best pizza in the area! Also, fantastic and varied beers. I love their pies and their beer. Every pizza we've ordered here has been great. The sauce is always superb.
(5)Marisa S.
A small restaurant in E Bremerton that was a good find! We were seated promptly and had good service. We did wait about 30 minutes for one pizza. My kids were so hungry. But, the pizza was very good. We scarfed it all down. It is a but pricey for pizza. The kids pizza is $8.00! I might return for a date night with no kids.
(4)Richard H.
My favorite thing about this place is their array of beers. They support a lot of the local brewery's. I've only tried the Luau pizza and it was pretty good. My only complaint is the cost. It's a bit expensive.
(4)Heather B.
Upgrading to 5 stars - been back a few times - love the pizza (especially this one - I forget what it's called but it has apple slices, basil and honey - and I know it sounds like a weird combination but trust me, it's AMAZING!!!) This is my new place for pizza! :) Please don't ever close!
(5)Michael B.
Can I give this place 3.5 stars? I've eaten here a few times now, and each time was exactly the same. Decent service, good food, prices a bit high. I don't have anything bad to say about this place, but nothing about any visit was above average. I guess if I drank more, I would appreciate the massive beer selection. (I almost wrote that as a massive bear selection. Come to think of it, if a restaurant offered a massive bear selection, I'd have to eat there just out of principle.)
(3)Alison V.
I'm not sure who this place thinks it is. My first impression was questioning was "Am I in downtown Seattle?" The price, based on the location, is completely out of whack. The BF and I came here for dinner expecting more of a pub place. The place is somewhat tiny inside. The back wall is lined with all sorts of beer you can buy by the bottle or case without the typical "corking" fee. Maybe the increased cost of drinking here is due to opening bottles, but the cost of a can or bottle of some of their beers was crazy. I looked at ordering a beer that I had bought in a store a week or two earlier and it was nearly $4 more! That being said, I settled with ordering off what they had on tap. The pizza came out in a very reasonable amount of time based on the fact it was made fresh. The BF and I had a pizza with goat cheese on it and it was pretty delicious. Without the quality of the pizza, this place would be 1 star at most. The service was decent, but definitely not worth the inflated cost. Overall, I'd suggest coming here if you want higher-end "artisan" pizza and are willing to pay for such. However, if you're looking for a place to grab a pizza and a beer, possibly try somewhere else or be ready to PAY for that beer! Maybe this place would be good to stop in and get some specialty style beers if you needed a place in Bremerton, but as a package it's not ideal.
(3)A.J. S.
While living in Bremerton I really used to love going to eat at this restaurant. They usually had good beer on tap, an the food was pretty decent. The staff are friendly, and are willing to let you sample the beer if you want. I would go back to eat there if I was in the area again.
(4)Tricia H.
This is a very comfortable place with very pleasant staff. Pizza is good and beer is plentiful. Can be busy.
(4)Jay Michael C.
I have been here with my wife once and the service was excellent, I love the decor and the food was tremendous in many ways, the taste was par to any of the five star eatery I have been at in New York, Chicago, and Boston pizza places. They have a unique style that is Washington style that is really seen from the personality of the people and the food and the people who comes in. It might not be perfect, but it does have a style one might enjoy to taste and see.
(4)Amanda M.
A long-overdue stellar review for the Toad House. What is there NOT to like about this place??! Seriously. Everything is perfect. Starting with the BEER! The beer selection is phenomenal, and to top it off the servers are knowledgeable and somehow manage to keep up with the enormous rotating selection. Last time I was there, I gave our server a general idea of what I wanted - light on the hops, local - and she came back with three fantastic samples from Kitsap breweries. They carry a number of Seattle brews, too, as well as a smattering of California/Montana/Colorado/further afield microbrews. And the PIZZA! It more than holds its own against the fantastic beer menu. There are all kinds of delicious concoctions on the fixed menu, plus one or two special pies that are generally surprisingly awesome. Our staple is the Bobdacious (pesto! italian sausage! basil! cheesy goodness! nom nom), but they let you do half & half pizzas so we usually mix it up and try something new on the other half. A large pizza gives my boyfriend and I enough to take home for another couple of meals. There's a fun "make your own" pizza option where they actually bring the crust and your selected toppings to the table for you to make up exactly as you wish, then whisk the finished product off to be fired in the wood oven. The Toad House pizza guys are magic makers, though, so I have no qualms putting them in charge! The service is also excellent - very friendly, and generally fast even when the house is packed. I usually make a substitution or two (I pretty much want goat cheese on every pizza I eat, ever...) and they have never once screwed up an order or been anything short of cheerfully accommodating. Basically, I love everything about this place. I'd love them even more if they'd just open shop in Seattle... I can't make the trek to Bremerton often enough to sate my Toad House appetite. They'd give a certain SLU pizza joint a "serious" run for its money. So how about it, guys?
(5)Nick R.
I'd rate this as okay, because the waitress was excellent and very attentive. But the pizza was nothing to get excited about. Not bad, just so so at best, and pretty spendy.
(3)Greg E.
Toad house pizza has always proved to be a awesome choice! One heck of a Beer selection, and the Pizza is amazing! A friend had a Panini on our last visit and Holy cow it was huge! I actually got a small sample, it was BOOMtastic! Awesome job guys!
(4)Marc-James D.
looked around for a new taste of the town for me and the GF, and the Toad definitely hit the spot. My girlfriend came here one time and suggested the spot, said the pizza's were delicious, and I'm always up for trying new things/places. The location is a bit small. it could probably seat about 40 or so people, so go when its not busy since the "wood stove" oven looks like it fits 2 15" pizzas at a time. It took about 15-20min to get our pizza, but it was well worth the wait. We ordered the Cheezy-D, and if i had come there on an empty stomach, i would have devoured what we had left over. It was GREAT. The prices almost seem not worth it, but if you want quality pizza, this is the place worth paying the price for. One really cool aspect: the list of beers. AMAZING. I wish I had come there with the idea of enjoying some new brews but my wallet wasn't in the mood at the time. they have a long list of beers to taste from which would keep you occupied as you wait for your pizza to arrive. the wait service was okay. it wasnt the best, but it wasnt bad. no need to elaborate on it. If you want a new taste of bremerton, Toad House delivers. not literally. and if you wanna try new beers, Toad House will quench your thirst for something new.
(4)Will G.
get the bobdacious... but do yourself a favor and dip it into their artichoke dip. Best combination ever. Or just order the bobdacious and have them add artichokes...
(5)Bart D.
Good pizza, good beer.
(4)Danielle R.
Toadhouse is a small pizza place. The service is good, the ambiance is typical. The restrooms and dining area are clean. I like the woodfired pizzas, they are delicious. However, they are over priced. I like the selection of beers/wines, but they too are overpriced. The menu is limited to only pizza, salad and sandwiches. Not much for kids except an $8 10' tadpole pizza. If I didn't have kids, I would give this place a better rating. NOTE TO PARENTS: GO SOMEWHERE ELSE unless you want to pay $70 for a family of 4 like we did. yep. Thats about a week of groceries for me.
(3)Quinn R.
Mixed here. I've been before and it was pretty fantastic then others times I really just didn't care for the pizza. So I say give it a go, worse a taste.
(3)Chris B.
Great pizza and beer under one roof? In Bremerton? The Toad house is the place. They always have great beers on tap, fully stocked shelves of sometimes hard to find beer and wood fired pizza. The Winning Combo, the Bobdacious and the TD's Good People pizza are some of my favorites. Along with the salads The Best Sandwich You've Had All Day is a great alternative to pizza. You have to check this place out!
(4)Tim D.
I can't comment on lunchtime here, as I've only been in for dinner. I absolutely love this place! There's so much here that you don't find in other places. First - The Beer: Their selection is awesome. The list with additional info on the menu is a great plus as well. Any place I can get a Delirium Tremens gets extra points in my book. Second - The food: Everything I've had here has been very tasty. Nothing has fallen short of expectations, and most everything has exceeded them. I've never had bad service here as mentioned by other reviewers. Sometimes the food does take a bit longer than expected, but when I went in with my wife last night, the waitress was very nice, helpful, and prompt. I've always had a great experience every time I've been here. I highly recommend this place if you're in the area. The bacon double-cheeseburger pizza is my favorite.
(5)Liana S.
Irish death is a great tasting beer. Not to hoppy, but a little dark. Just perfect. No military discount, but the waitress was very nice and easy going for all the hassle we have her with special orders and instructions. Well be back!
(5)Drew Q.
The Best Pizza, The Most Beer.... Is there anything else I have to say that they don't?! Kirk & Devin, y'all are awesome people.
(5)Glen M.
OK, first of all, not a pub. Not even close. It's a pizza restaurant. That serves beer. As quality goes, this is the best pizza in Bremerton for well-made, unique, and just plain tasty pizzas. Everything I've had there is delicious. The paninis are also great. But you will pay for this quality. Beerwise, they have the wall o' beers, but I'm a tap guy, so I haven't been disappointed by their tap selection. The manager most times I've been there is pretty knowledgable on his brews. But again, not exactly cheap. Their waitstaff is usually understaffed and overworked. They're usually doing their best - alone - so I never hold that against them. If you're looking for a cheap beer and good (not gourmet) pizza, save $20 and roll down Wheaton a bit to Cloverleaf.
(3)Natalie B.
The pizza is average. The pies on the menu are very creative. I feel like everything needed salt. Even the salad dressing, and there is nothing wrong with my taste buds. The servers are very nice and so are the cooks. The atmosphere is nice, and there are plenty of beers to choose from. It's definitely one of the nicer establishments in Bremerton.
(2)David N.
Not worth the cost, in my opinion. My first time here, I walked out due to the prices, and the atmosphere was a bit heavy handed and snooty. We came back a few weeks later after reading the reviews here - I had to give it a fair shake. 2 adults - one beer each, an appetizer, and a pizza. $50+. Really? I could maybe see it if it were fantastic, but it's not. Is it better than the typical "fast food" type pizzas? Oh yeah. But to jump on that overlooks the bar prices on beer, and that there are PLENTY of other pizza shops that make good food for much less. Round Table Pizza is comparable, in my opinion, to what you get here as far as toppings and quality, for much less. If you want good beer, go to one of the local Alehouses (Silver City or even Hales), instead of paying someone a 200% premium to open a bottle for you. (Pro-tip - don't tell me you're gouging me on the beer prices in the menu. I quote "Take any of our unopened bottled beers home at 50% off the menu price.") The service was decent, but in short, if I'm going to spend $50 on a single meal, it's going to be something more than pizza and beer. *edit* I've since run into an employee of this establishment elsewhere, and they have the same opinion - "The food is good, but (the owner) is a money grubber and knows people will pay it. The sad thing is, all the beer we carry you can find at Red Apple on Perry MUCH cheaper."
(1)Jennifer Z.
What can I say? Pizza best ever!!! WHo would have thought that a pizza cook could take so much attention to detail? The beer is always fun! Different variety on tap. So much fun to try something new.
(5)Reesa T.
This place must be under new ownership! I've been twice "recently", ie: since February and wow- the service is 100% better. The food is also exceptional, I've no complaints there except that I left too full.... The beer menu seems to have been trimmed back. *Sad* I'm a beer drinker, and a fairly well traveled and tasted one- but their old menu nearly intimidated me. Their new selection doesn't. It does however give me lots of good options- more than I am used to! Weirdness, they've got Unibroue, but not the La Fin De Monde... that is one thing I cannot figure out. Nevertheless they've got standard good fallbacks like the Dead Guy, but they've also got a good selection of imports and the full like (I think) of the Stone Brewery beers (or close to the full like) their IPA is exceptional. Good beer makes the world go round!
(4)jasmine h.
Came here because of the yelp reviews..and it lived up to the stars! I'm here for work and it's prob the best pizza I've had EVER!!!
(5)Paul C.
Half bottle shop, half wood fired pizza joint. This is my favorite pizza place in town. Most of their pizzas are very unique, but you can find some standard pies if that is what you want. They usually have a few great local beers on tap. You don't have to go here for the pizza. The apps and beer hold their own. My favorite pizza is the "Salty Orchard-" prosciutto, apples, honey, basil, and bleau cheese. Be adventurous with your pizza and try it!
(4)Jacquelyn Y.
The service was great and the pizza tastes great. They have a large selection of beer as well. Definitely coming back.
(4)Koya M.
I've always heard great things about Toad House but finally after a few years, I decided to give it a try. Now I'm left wondering why I waited so long. This place is amazing! Great prices & fresh ingredients. I also really love that the kids can make their own pizza before it's cooked. It made my son (4 y/o) really excited to eat it!
(5)Melissa S.
LOVE!!! The food is amazing (try the salty orchard -yum!) and the service is usually adequate, sometimes fantastic. I wish they would open another one in downtown Bremerton!
(4)Sean W.
This place sucks! I'm tired of hearing locals tell me their pizza is good. I've had better frozen pizza....
(1)Lea Martin M.
My husband and I finally got a chance to eat here. We were very pleased with everything at first. The margerita pizza tasted awesome, although the taste of garlic was a little too much... great beer, great service! Later that night, my husband and I had the worst stomach pains and gas/diarrhea ever! WAY TOO MUCH GARLIC! There had to be at least 50 cloves on there. We didn't realize it at the restaurant because we were so hungry! Still going back because I want another tangerine wheat beer, and I'd love a chance to try the salty orchard
(3)Veronika R.
"Best pizza. Most beer." They aren't lying. The guy working in the kitchen is a genius. Amazing pizza! It's also fun to watch him tossing dough by hand right in front of the pizza oven back there. Very tasty, extremely fresh & high quality ingredients! Monday is a great time to go: $3 any tap and $9 pitchers. But if draft isn't your thing they have an amazing selection of bottle and cans. They have a "bar" but this is NOT A BAR. No bar seating, they have tables and ambiance.... don't come expecting stools and TVs. Excellent spot for pizza, especially for a group of four. Just one small caution: The "Please Wait to Be Seated" sign is easy to miss, and you might get some attitude from the staff if you do.
(5)Lydia P.
We haven't been here in quite a few years. Happened to be in the area and decided to check them out. It happened to be a Monday so it was Micro Monday. 9 dollars for a pitcher of ANY beer. Can't beat that price for a good IPA :-) The server was great. Very personable, and knew his stuff. It was pretty quiet since it was more lunch time so our food was pretty quick. We decided on the Chipotle Chicken Pizza. Wow! I can't say a bad thing about it. That was honestly one of the best pizza's I've had in Kitsap County.
(4)Aaron R.
I don't understand Pacific Northwest pizza anymore. This place is tasty but not great. It has high quality ingredients but, unfortunately, it lacks in sauce. Why is every pizza I eat on the west coast lacking in sauce? Tomatoes grow great in California! Is it the lack of sunshine that programs the brain over time to want depressing pizza with a dark beer? Is there no place here that can bring a smile with a light tangy sauce? I suspect that if you live here you will love this pizza. If you are visiting, you will wonder why this place is so popular. Slather some sauce on this pizza, cut up the lights, and you might have a five star pizza pub.
(4)Mindy B.
The Toad has wonderful atmosphere, great beer both local/regional and international and the most amazing pizza! The ingredients are fresh and delicious. The waitstaff was both attentive and fun. We had a fantastic dinner and will be back.
(5)Flint T.
We have been here several times and always enjoy the pizza. It is a small place, a little nicer than most you find in a plaza. They have some really unusual specialty combos. Today we went plain with the Four Cheese which has mozzarella, Gorgonzola, feta and goat cheese. The crust was perfect and the cheese had just enough tang to it. We only had one piece each, that cheese is filling. $22 for a large, plus you just have to try one of the craft beer. We will be back again.
(4)Travel-critic-nwest X.
it's a good pizza. nice atmosphere. might get another star with more meticulous cleaning and maybe some accent lighting. the owners should overdo the cleaning, de-cluttering, and lighting in the unisex single stall restroom. I have been to this location twice in the last year, and would go again. I generally go with friends.
(3)Sam G.
Decent pizza and a great selection of beer. The staff was friendly and I like the dark, wood interior. The place is a little strangely-placed next to a grocery store, with a big empty parking lot, but everything around here is kind of like that. I don't know if I'd go tout of my way to hunt it down, but if you're in the area and looking for a good meal and a pitcher, you'll be happy here.
(3)Michael L.
Lots Of Pizza Choices !! Lots of Beer ! How can you go wrong ?? This is a little Gem of a Wood-Fired Pizza Place. Love the Atmosphere, Classic Rock Backround music. Pizzas are all great. Latest one I tried was the "Luau" (Pineapple, Bacon, Chicken & Goat Cheese, + +) It was scrumptious !! Also had a Great Ceasar Salad to start off with. Looks like a Great selection of Sandwiches Also to choose from. Service always seems pretty friendly ! I gotta return and try one of those Sandwiches !!
(5)Anonymous C.
Best pizza in western puget sound! I don't even like pizza and I love it here! They have my Leavenworth whistling pig beer in a take home growler.
(5)Richard Z.
Great pizza. Crust could be crispier. Beer selection is one of the best in the county. Service is friendly and quick. Prices are on par with any artisan pizza place. I recommend the Toad or the Four Cheese.
(4)Jeff O.
This place rocks! Great food Great service. We often go there for a sandwich and pizza. Good quality and friendly. Lots of beverage selections too.
(5)Greg T.
Service was a little slow this time while we were at the Toad House, but they were busy, so it wasn't really a big deal. The pizzas that we got were absolutely delicious, especially the salty orchard. It was amazing. Everything was going great until the end. When our waitress came by to remove our plates and give us to-go boxes, she also took our beer glasses, which were still half full. Look, I understand that they were busy and that there was a wait, but I was not going to sit there and take up a table. By the time we had received our change, the beers would have been gone, but it is completely unacceptable to assume whatever it was she assumed and take our beers when we weren't nearly finished with them. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon. There are many other places in the area that I can go to get good pizza. Places that won't take our beers in an effort to try and push us out.
(2)Becky G.

(3)Jeff R.
(4)Natalie B.
(2)Amanda M.
Cheers
(3)Aaron R.
(4)David N.
(4)Amy X.
*wink wink*
(4)Paul F.
Best pizza in Bremerton and a huge selection of beer. What more could you ask for?
(5)Stephen C.

(2)Kimo Q.
(5)Rhonda P.
(5)Jay Michael C.
(4)Gary W.
Fantastic pizza! Lots of beer choices. Some of it is a little pricey. Atmosphere was great. Owners and staff were very polite and very pleasant.
(4)Chevelle A.
(4)Jill E.
(5)Koya M.
(4)Jessica C.

(2)Laura M.

Don't let the outside fool you, this place is cute and tasty with an obscene amount of beers. Little spendy but totally worth it!

This place sucks! I'm tired of hearing locals tell me their pizza is good. I've had better frozen pizza....

We will be back again.

it's a good pizza. nice atmosphere. might get another star with more meticulous cleaning and maybe some accent lighting. the owners should overdo the cleaning, de-cluttering, and lighting in the unisex single stall restroom.

(4)Jim S.

(4)Tom B.
(3)Matthew Q.
Great beer selection, friendly service, very good pizza. Definitely a gem in the area.
(4)J. J.
(4)Orange B.
I go there once or twice a month and never disappoints me
(5)Elisabeth H.
(3)Jessica S.
