What can be said about the Subway at Lakeland Hills that hasn't already been said? Simply stated A WHOLE LOT! The place is a total joke and a complete travesty. Fortunately for Jared Fogle "The Subway Guy" whom the Subway guys have spent millions on in their advertising campaigns did not visit the Lakeland Hills Subway store as if he did, he'd still be standing in line. Unlike Fogle I have been there several dozen times but have finally said enough is enough, no more. The quality of their products is as good as Subway gets but their staff and primarily management or lack thereof is either a no show or out to lunch. On one occasion while visiting the Lakeland Hills store, I suggested to the young man who was making my sandwich that perhaps the owner should consider placing a few tables and chairs outside the store as there are many people in the area that have either dogs or kids and are always looking for a place outside to sit and dine . The young man whom I'll call Stretch said there was no need for the owner to place chairs outside as people could use the ones at the Starbucks just across the way. I explained to him that those belonged to Starbucks, not Subway and asked if perhaps he could give me the name of the owner so I might make that suggestion. He was quick to explain that he never knew the owner as he never came in and was not sure if any other members of the crew did either. I returned the following day bought my usual sandwich and in the course of conversation stated to Stretch that it was most apparent they had a very high turnover in employees as with the exception of himself there was always someone new. Stretch smiled and said "yes, we have a whole lot of turnover as most people we hire are just not Subway material". Interesting to note that someone must have felt the same way about Stretch as he has now moved on. On another occasion we walked in, were the only two customers in the store and the two young ladies at the counter immediately greeted us by saying "you'll have to wait a while before we can help you as we're working on a large order that was just called in". Wait we did not but walked across the way to Starbucks. Strike three occurred this past Sunday morning. A beautiful day, no room either inside or outside at Starbucks so thought what the hell let's try Subway one more time. There was one fellow ahead of me and when my turn arrived I politely told Stretch's replacement that I would like an egg white on flat bread. He found the flat bread but said they had no egg white. I half heartedly joked and said that you must have had a big run on egg white this morning and he looks at me and says "no, someone forgot to order it".

They open 24 hours, except on holidays. They were closed the other day for Christmas. I was hoping to eat there after work that night. Have been here a few times since I live close by. People are friendly. The only thing about this place and any other subway locations is that they need to have better ventilation. I would leave the store with onion smell stuck on my clothes. No wifi, but they do enjoy the benefit of having wifi connection from Starbucks located across from them.

The employees seem disinterested and lazy. They skimp on the veggies, big time. The tomatoes always a strange white, beige color too.

Decently clean and has the standard subway stuff, but the reviews about the employees are true. You can tell they don't care and you might not be getting good service. At least my sandwich was good

Took my two daughters there recently on a Sunday morning around lunch time. Subway isn't a new experience for us. We ate in. I got up to ask for a few napkins because they don't leave any out for people to get themselves. There was one couple being helped at the counter with several sandwiches by one person behind the counter, and three people in the back doing.... I have no idea what. I waited.... and waited and waited some more. A few times one of the people in the back poked there head out, saw me, then went back to what they were doing. Finally another customer entered and a female worker (manager, I think) came out, ignored me completely and went to help the new customer. I rang the little bell they had at the counter. The female worker, quite anoyed, stopped what she was doing and came over. As she did I asked if I could get a few napkins. She responded "Sure!" with all sorts of attitude and handed me a few. I thanked her and went back to my table. She later tried to give me cookies for the inconvenience of having to wait.... still with plenty of attitude. It shouldn't take 15 minutes to get napkins, and they shouldn't be received with attitude.... of any kind. No body needs that kind of bs. I won't be going back to this place again unless Im certain this lady isn't working there.
