I go here every now and then and the young kid that works afternoons is so sweet and helpful. I actually order a sndwich that isn't on the menu anymore but he will still make it for me. Love this place.

I would not suggest going to this location. There were three people working, and we had to wait a good 15 minutes before they even took our order. I had a BLT and they put 2 tablespoons of mayo on it and only three slices of bacon. They got my husbands order wrong, and snapped at us when we tried to ask for an extra topping. Overall the food was ok, but the service was pretty lacking.

Ordered one toasted bagel to go by calling in before showing up. We arrived to find 5 employees standing around behind the counter. One person ordering. We asked for our bagel and were told to please wait while the nearest employee made some coffee and talked with the manager. I asked another employee who knew nothing of the order, and was then informed that it hadn't been made yet. We ordered ahead because we didn't have time. So we left and called Burlington bagel bakery. I walked in past a long line and went right to the register where my order was waiting for me. I was out in 30 seconds. I've learned from this experience. Maybe now you won't have to!

My wife and I stop here weekly on our way through town. The regular staff know our orders by now but I see the staff greet everyone else as well as we are treated. I think I recall one of the managers mentioning that this location did a lot of training which would explain why I see a few core staff members plus a new person regularly. The new people seem to be brought up to speed quickly though. The only reason why I'm not giving 5 stars is that I feel that the prices are slightly higher than at other bagel places. Though the survey which gives you a dollar off on your next visit helps offset that.

First off, I love bagels. My family loves bagels. We want to love this place. But they make it so hard. You can tell that the staff are not highly motivated and do not seem to be enjoying their job. The restrooms are filthy and overall there seems to be an ethic of "doing the minimum" - tables are often unclean. Bagels are okay. We avoid coming to Brueggers unless we are crunched for time and it's the only option. Hire and train some leaders maybe and get employees feeling good about working there and customers will feel good too!

Bruegger's makes great bagels. I've always counted on them when I'm downtown but the Shelburne location is really super as well. I always get friendly and welcoming service here and they keep the place very tidy. Seems quite busy on the weekends (I've only ever come here on Sundays after my run). But there is always plenty of seating (I think they have counter seating as well). They also serve Green Mountain Coffee which is fantastic.
