Italian Cuisine
The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.
Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.
If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Hoagies isn't necessarily anything to write home about, but it is good. I went there often with my friends in college when we needed a break from campus food and wanted to get some decent food. You can find both locals and college students eating here at Hoagies. College students are the majority of employees here, and the service is pretty good. Hoagies tends to get a little busy around dinner time, especially on a Friday or Saturday night, so call ahead for take-out if you're not adamant about eating there on those nights. My favorite thing to order from Hoagies was by far the taco salad. Forget about being healthy when you get it served in a crispy shell... but who cares? It's wicked tasty. The pizza was fine, but let's face the facts: it's Vermont, not New York City. The crispy crusted NY Style pizza we know and love isn't found up there. And as for the subs, I'm from the Philadelphia area where the true hoagie originated. You won't find one of those here, mainly because a true hoagie has the perfect 'crusty on the outside, softer on the inside' kinda roll. You tend to find subs on a softer roll here. Which is fine, I have no problem with that, except I definitely had my hopes up when I came to "Hoagies" for the first time ;) Honestly, in a town that lacks a good sit down restaurant (besides the Miss L diner of course), Hoagies may be one of your best bets. It's clean, the service is good and friendly, and it's way better than greasy Pizza Hut.

We ordered 12 wings, 4 bread sticks, an individual pizza and a piece of pie for delivery to our hotel. It took us almost two hours to get our food. Everything was cold...bread sticks were bland, wings were fatty and lacked any flavor, pizza was ok, but the .99 peanut butter pie was the best part of our dinner. After being in the car all day (we were traveling in from PA) all I wanted was something better than McDonalds. What we got was a waste of $30 and we're still hungry. I should have just canceled my order when it wasn't delivered on time. I hope this small town has something better to offer for breakfast.

Was totally pissed tonight, July 4th 2015, was standing in line to get ice cream at the Lyndonville location. The waitress/soda jerk leaned out the window and said "I'm sorry but we close at eight and this gentleman will be my last customer". We were the only person in line behind him and it was 8:02 and they closed at 8:00. I can guarantee I will NEVER give them a dime of my business again. Pizza Man will become my goto ice cream and pasta/pizza place and will make damn sure everyone of my friends learns of their great customer service.

No, it's not fancy at all. But it's got a wonderful home town feel. Staff know the clientele -- that's for certain. There's plenty to choose from on the menu. We like the Buffalo Chicken pizza. The cheesy bread sticks are a great treat to kill hunger on a long drive.

Stopped off here on my way to Canada, this particular exit only had two choices for restaurants and the other was closed....soooo.... Average pizza. Best redeeming quality is that the staff are super nice, they paid close attention to us without being obtrusive, which is a delicate balance. Good in extremis, but I would definitely not make a special trip here.
