Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

I never realized that I had an option of "Take Away" or Delivery, at 1:30am, here in Burlington. Until I discovered you "Guys" & the HUMONGOUS "Brooklyn Style" Pizza, you've got goin' on. You would think in a "College City", there would be more "late night" or "24-Hour" places that deliver AND have Great Food.. But until then, very BIG Daddy's will deliver the Best, NY Style- Pizza in Btown VT.

We have been extremely happy with the late night staff recently. Many places late night staff act aggravated and annoyed, assuming everyone they deal with is drunk. We both work late, often getting home around 130am when almost all other food joints are closed. We have had amazing service calling up for a delivery order as late as 145am. They didn't make us feel guilty for being the last order and of course the food is consistently good. It's really great as someone who works late to know there is a place you can depend on for good service and good food brought right to your door. I think one week last month my boyfriend ordered a delivery of a burger 4 nights in a row! Also- I'm obsessed with the bread the sandwiches come on. And almost the best thing is the online ordering system- you can make so many modifications and I can put the order in at work and schedule it to be delivered when I get home. Love it!

"Burlington Pizza Tour" "Oh No' Well I cant say I wont ever go back because sometimes its the only pizza place open in Burlington at 2:30 in the morning, but that's only because they really got me cornered at that time of night. I have never once been pleased by the service, its like they train people to be assholes here. They are incredibly disrespectful to their clientele 100% of the time from what I have seen. The pizza is mediocre and overpriced based on the low quality ingredients they use. I would avoid this place if you are looking for anything but the chance at maybe being able to order crappy pizza without somebody giving you crappy looks while you do so. The entire staff looks at you like they hate you when you walk in there... no joke. And I don't go in there enough or talk enough while I'm there for them to know I'm an asshole ; ) -Fu D.

We were going to go to Manhattan Pizza, but it was late and I had forgotten my ID. We couldn't get in. So our friend suggested this other pizza place just a short walk away. I got a BBQ pizza slice, my SO got two pepperoni slices. I really didn't like my pizza, there was nothing all that great about it. Maybe because it was just a reheated slice? I didn't like the "BBQ chicken", I actually just picked it off. SO ate one of his slices but couldn't finish his second slice, there was too much sauce on it. He would usually go for light sauce on his pizza. There is some funny stuff on the walls. The staff was bored and didn't seem to give a damn. $11 for three slices of pizza and a medium drink. There are many better options for pizza in the area.

We have been ordering from Big Daddy's for years. The past 2 orders were extremely disappointing. Our usually wonderful subs had so little meat and veggies we assumed it was a mistake so the next time we ordered we asked (and paid for) extra meat and veggies and there was even less of everything this time. I can understand if they are using portion control I get that but these were ridiculous. After all these years we won't be back. Instead we drove to Burger King :(

I am giving 3 strs because the pizza is awesome. I got the cheese pizza and it was delicious. The pepperoni was even better. Whatever you do though, don't ever get a pizza with multiple toppings. The reason is, a whole ago I bought a pizza with pepperoni mushroom sausage pineapple ham all in one pizza. I was disappointed when the pizza came out and there were a few pieces of every topping on the pie, just all spread out so that it can take up the whole span of the pizza pie. It was very pricey for that pizza because they charge $$$ for every additional topping. I felt cheated. Tables are always sticky and dirty. What I do like is the wide window that can be opened in the spring and summer time for guests. Good pizza if you get a single topping or just cheese.

I have been coming to big daddy's for years. recently I went out of state for work and have just recently returned. it makes me happy to see that big daddy's is still going strong. I was in there this Friday night and got my favorite pizza, BBQ chicken. the staff is always courteous and there is no other place in burlington where I would go for my pizza. excellent pizza and service by all means

I can see the appeal if you are drunk at 2am or if you just want an oversized pizza delivered. For everyone else, I would avoid. It's a dive. That can be great when the food is good, but it's not here. Pizza is so so, wings look and taste like Tyson frozen, and there's no beer to numb the pain. There are other good pizza places nearby on Church. I'd stick with those.

Great pizzas and hot sandwiches at reasonable prices. Right in the heart of Burlington. Pizza is good, so are the sandwiches. Prices are reasonable for the quality/quantity.

So I was out for yet another of my weekend adventures downtown, and well, after being out all night we were super hungry! My roommate was raving about the pizza here, so I went for it. It was just what I was in the mood for. The service was fast, the pizza wasn't cold, and it was gooood! The buffalo chicken was a bit too spicy for me, but I'm kind of a wimp about such things. The bbq chix on the other hand was awesome. I'm actually kind of craving it right now! I definitely liked it better than most of the pizza I've had downtown. I'll absolutely go there again.

The epitome of a local pizza joint, Big Daddy's is about as from from Chain pizza as you can get. Extrememly informal to the point of absurdity, the Big Daddy's staff is no-nonsense and down-to-earth, and the customers range from those getting off work to drunkards in PJs. After enjoying the heavy rock/metal pounding on the radio, read the "stupid ways not to try to order" sign, then place your order or pick out a slice. Just don't expect it in a hurry. They also have very unique menu choices: BBQ chicken pizza (which is kick-ass), baked ziti pizza (which is like a cheese lasagna pizza), and a few others. Also, the cheese-filled tater tots are pretty damn awesome. One last thing, the pizzas are HUGE!!! No joke, the largest barely fits through my door when horizontal. And yet comparibly priced with other pizza joints. Ok, I lied, one last thing: They're open REALLY late, like 2a or 3a depending on what the staff feeling like doing. Parking's a bitch though, Church St is impossible to find a space on.

Hey, we're on our honeymoon and if we want to spend and entire day napping and hanging around the hotel room, you can bet that's exactly what we're doing. But we still need to eat like the gluttons we are, and the hotel fare is a little pricey. So we searched "Burlington Vermont delivery" and this was the first establishment to catch our attention. It's college food, for sure, but that also means it's tasty, inexpensive and offers almost anything anyone with the drunk munchies could hope for -- including a variety of Ben & Jerry's. And we're always fans of food joints that allow for online delivery. The hot boneless buffalo wings (with extra veggies!), baked ziti pizza, and ESPECIALLY the very flavorful hickory Philly sandwich hit the spot. And, even though Big Daddy's isn't terribly far from our hotel, the speedy delivery was a definite bonus. Greasy, satisfying guilty-pleasure food served in portions that last for days was exactly what we wanted from Big Daddy's, and it's exactly what we got. More, please!

If you love freakishly large wings like I do, then Big Daddy's is your place. They are open always, and their pizza is always hot. I especially like the BBQ Chicken Pizza. I know a guy that worked there, and he said it was very clean. The teriyaki wings are ridiculously delicious, I am pretty sure they get the sauce from heaven.

We stopped in for lunch here on a Saturday afternoon. The place is somewhat small. We each had a piece of pizza and shared a salad. The pizza slices are very large and its thin crust. It was delicious. The salad was very good too and good sized. The food is not out of the ordinary, but very tasty and the owner is very nice. Certainly worth grabbing a bite here.

We thought we ordered spinach and mushroom pizza and the guy at the counter didn't explain what it was. The girl handing our pizza was really apologetic and said it was actually black bean, spinach, and caramelized onions pizza. My boyfriend and I didn't care too much and said we would have it anyways. It was actually pretty damn awesome. I'm not sure how much of this had to do with hunger, but the light garlic on the pizza enhanced it.

I have been ordering from these guys for 10 years. There have been a couple mishaps, but its ok. Some employees just suck. But to the rest of you over there, present and past, Thank you!

BD's is the best in town....I say this not only for the food which is always great, but also because the staff remembers who you are. I strictly only ordered delivery for about 6 months and they still remembered who I was and always got the food and side sauces right. Now I like to stroll down and eat outside. BBQ or Buffalo chicken pizza or a sandwich! Curly fires and O rings are fantastic as well! The chick czar wrap could use more dressing but that doesn't change the rating!!

Had a really good experience. Great taste on the dry wings. Same for a tasty sandwhich and a stromboli. Arrived right on time. All good and hot. We'll do this again.

The pizza was OK not great, ordered the Hawaiian pizza and had them add BBQ. They didn't add enough BBQ to the pizza was kinda bland the crust was fine. Also ordered a 420 brownie, it was good and large. No special ingredient though. Ordered over the phone, repeated order about 5 times. She admitted she was a dumb blond, it was fine she was funny. Food came quickly and I was happy with the order.

Mega good pizza! The BBQ Chix is especially delicious. The wings are among the best in Burlington. This place is a bit of a hole in the wall, so I'd recommend delivery unless you're looking for a quick late night slice post bars. The 420 special is pretty sweet too. Pizza, wings, and fried dough for $20 delivered to your door. Great for when the snack attack hits.

I have not been here in a long time. The place in general is pretty bare bone. The subs are pretty good though. I had the chicken cordon bleu and my friend has the hickory cheese steak. Both were pretty good. Does get pretty rough here the later is gets.

Worst pizza and worst service in btown!

Great Buffalo Chicken pizza. Not the classiest place in town, but if you want good pizza by the slice, you should check this place out.
