Had our RV at a seasonal campground near by last year and we ate here 10 to 12 times. My family of 5 probably tried everything on the menu and we were never disappointed. Great burgers and seafood. Reasonable prices and a nice quaint small town vibe. Service could be a bit slow at times and they don't take AMEX which annoys me.

Got a great buffalo chicken wrap, def recommend the onion rings. Switchback, Harpoon IPA on tap (plus more, can't remember), lots of nice looking bottles in the coolah. Great view of Island Pond, sweet waitress, good spot!!

I got the scallop basket special. It arrive quickly and the waitress was pleasant. The reason for only two stars is lack of food quality. The scallops were fresh but a bit under done and the batter was mundane and fell off. The fries were weird, crispy and salty on the outside but liked mashed potatoes on the inside. The cole slaw was way too sweet and really "soupy". Price for a five scallop basket was $9.99.

The beer on tap was service nice and cold! Many Vermont beers on tap what a plus. However the food was not so wowing. My son's lobster roll was extremely small for $16.99 and my husband's fish and chips looked like it came out of a box in the freezer section. Our server was prompt and friendly. If it wasn't for the local beers on tap Pond's Edge Pub would have gotten 2 stars.

First of all the staff is really what makes the place! The food is yummy too but there is something about going into a restaurant 5 days out of the year during snowmobile season and the staff recognize you AND I remember them. It's a comfortable feeling. French Onion soup, Chef salad and prime rib delicious! The Draft beers are always the new and popular selections as well as the fan fav-Switchback. Thanks Allison and staff-another successful snowmobile week with my belly full!

Right in the middle of downtown Island Pond (the village), along the edge of the Island Pond (the pond) is Pond's Edge, an appropriately named and very satisfying little pub. There aren't many dining choices in Island Pond, especially out of snow season, but fortunately this is a darned good choice. We had a terrific experience, thanks to some good food and drink and a delightful young waitress, Michelle D. She added all the flavoring we needed with her splendid service and quick wit. We wish her well. The food is pretty standard stuff: burgers, chicken, fried seafood baskets, sandwiches, etc., but the folks in the kitchen can do the simple things the right way. We had friend shrimp and sea scallop baskets and loved them: crispy (with the crust easily falling off if you prefer yours non-fried and very fresh tasting. Fries and coleslaw come along with the baskets, and we also savored the crispy fried onion rings. Yeah, that's a lot of fried which we normally don't do, but the orgy of fry left our tummies happy. There's a good bar with some nice beers on tap, and we happened on seniors night with bottled beer a mere $2.95. Our baskets came to $11.95 and $12.95, and the rings were $4.95. We love small towns! The place was filled with locals, several of whom spoke to us in a friendly way. Nothing fancy here, but the grub is good, and we'll definitely be back (like for live music night).

This has to be the best restaurant IP has seen in YEARS!! Since Cook Shack closed and Jennifer's changed hands at least 4 times, there hasn't really been anything good. Pickles is so-so. Ponds Edge has a bar food type of menu, nothing too fancy, but they really get it right! Everything I've had from the menu is delicious. And the prices are VERY reasonable. Add a friendly staff and comfortable atmosphere and you cannot go wrong!
