The prices are reasonable & the food is fine. Nothing special but it is a good choice to get some typical food. It seems like a place locals like to hangout. We had two salads, a wrap & shrimp garlic rice. Everyone was happy with their choice of food. Don't make an effort to get there but if you're in the area & hungry for a burger or wrap it's a place to stop.

Great service and unbelievably delicious food! Exceeded expectations and even had Fiddlehead IPA on draught.

My friend and I came in at 11:50 on a snowy winter Saturday, and we were in and out by 12:30 if we wanted to be. (But we stuck around for a bit, because we could.) No issues with service. They had a few specials so I had the lobster bisque and their special cake. The bisque was meh, it was creamy with a sherry touch but lacked significant chunks of lobster, just tiny shreds dotted throughout. The cake was delicious but a tad overpriced. I had a rather small appetite that morning so no issues there. I forget what my friend ordered, but it looked quite good. A few good beers on tap to go with the normal ones, which was also nice. I feel like this is another 3.5-star place. In this case, I'm rounding up because of the location. Not a whole lot else around Bradford; if this is where your hunger pangs kick in, Hungry Bear is probably your best bet.

My husband and I went for a late lunch on Sunday on our way back from Woodsville NH, we checked the GPS for a recommendation and found the Hungry Bear listed and decided to give it a try. When we arrived at our destination we were a bit hesitant as it sits behind a gas station. Since in the past we have found some really good hole in the wall restaurants we decided to give it a try... plus we were hungry... It was worth the stop! It has a small pub area with a few TV's to watch the game on, and a small dining area past the bar. It was very well maintained and clean on the inside and the wait staff was very friendly. I ordered the clam strips with a baked potato and my husband ordered the fish and chips, both came with a side of coleslaw. The clam strips were well cooked not over battered and just the way I like them... bellyless! The Fish and chips was made with fresh haddock, and both the fish and the fries were crispy and not oily. The bill for the two of us with a drink each was under $40. If you are in the area it is a good place to stop.

This is not a "pub" it is a bar, complete with 80s bar music and a bar menu- also reminiscent of the 80s. My "handformed " turkey burger was formed by somebody, but not in this kitchen. Rubbery meat and tasteless fries that I am now, several hours later, experiencing as a stomach ache have motivated me to write this review and maybe save someone from making this mistake in the future.

It's about a 2.5 star place. Food is mediocre, but filling. Not bad, just not a destination restaurant. Lunch took 30 minutes. That's too long. I liked the bar/restaurant atmosphere and the big screen tv, which was at the bar, but didnt interfere with the dining room, perfect. Service was ok, not great, but friendly and fine. So its not a great place, not the worst. If you're hungry and need to fill your tank, it'll do the job, just don;t expect gourmet. The bar seems like a good bet, it was busy on a weekday.

Don't waste your time here. I ordered a raspberry margarita which was just a lot of syrups... ugg. I knew it was going to be bad when I saw the bartender pour it out of jugs. For food I got the fish and chips... hahaha, I guess if you like Swanson's frozen dinners then you might like it. Waitress was nice and attentive and the atmosphere is cozy, but there are much better options down the road in Hanover.

The jalapeño bottle cap appetizer is great if you love the 'kick'! Bear tips were deliciously smothered. Would visit again in heartbeat!

Good food been going here since before it was a bar/pub when they used to serve breakfast...still has a feel good local atmosphere..they usually run food and drink specials daily. Your likely to run into some local bradford rif-raft on a busy weekend that's sure to be entertaining at least.
