Actually I would give this place three and 1/2 stars. My only BIG complaint about the place is there is a curb, where when it rains water collects, and so often you have to make a leap when it rains to get into the place. And the staff seems to really come and go. But if you like fowl meat then this is a good place. I usually order the two piece dinner, all breast, spicy, with a side order of red beans and rice and an extra order of mashed potatoes with cajun gravy and two or three jalepeno peppers. All very good stuff. I don't know if their mashed potatoes are real or instant. Usually I can spot instant potatoes a mile off but these, if they are instant, are very good. Some Popeye's have a blend of real and instant potatoes. But if you like really crunchy fowl meat, here it is. I go in spite of the horrible Annie commercials with the pushy lady that keeps calling me honey in spite of the fact I can't stand her.

Clearly a center-of-the-pack Popeyes restaurant... Place is located in a run down stripmall; however, it is close to 95 which makes it convenient for through travelers... Ordered the red beans and rice - - very tasty, as usual, just a little bit runny... Recommend coming here if you need a Popeyes fix -- nothing really out of the ordinary either on the up or downside...

Only for the customer service--In more than one occasion, it is a joke in our family that when we go through the Popeye's drive through, that we will never get a courteous attitude from the drive through at this location. The different cashiers at this location never use the simple tactic of "Cajun Hospitality". Although, we love Popeye's chicken, we tend to not go more often, because we know that whoever serves us will be unpleasant. I suggest for this location to go through some type of hospitality or customer service program. I have been through other drive-thrus where they are at least courteous and ask us if we need any thing. Every time we come here, it never fails. I understand that they may not like their job, but make it pleasant for customers to come back and give your job some business.

The people who work here are always so nice and professional. They seem to really take pride in customer service.

I suppose it's a cliche, but don't use the drive thru unless you enjoy getting screwed. Most recently we paid for two five piece strip meals and they both had only three strips. Most unforgivable of all, however, was that we ordered two large sodas, and didn't get straws. That's just plain evil.

Keeping in mind that this is a fast food chain, I will give it five stars for taste and service. I printed a coupon off the website, went through the drive thru and got my food accurate and quick. Not much better than that.

I love Popeyes but this was, by far, the worst location I have ever been to. When my mom and I arrived, there were about eight people waiting for their their food. We stood around waiting for about ten minutes to order our food. When we finally did order, we were the first of the group to get our food. There was a manager there but she was not managing at all. There was absolutely no order whatsoever. It's like the workers just walked in off the street and started working. Nobody had any idea what they were doing. The food was great but I think I would rather stab myself before coming back to this location.

This Popeyes has THE SLOWEST drive thru EVER. Never fails. Daytime. Nightime. Its as if for each driver they have to kill a new chicken, pluck it, chop it into parts, clean it, cook it, and then serve it to you. Its that danggone slow. And be sure to check your order! These people find a way to jack up your order oftentimes. It may be by the time you reach the window, so much time has passed so they've forgotten what you ordered. If you're in a real hurry and there's more than one car in front of you, I recommend going inside. You'll be about your way a lot sooner - trust me.

I was one of two people in the restaurant and it took over 5 minutes to get my number 8 combo meal. Additionally they charge the 57 cent fee for all orders over 5 dollars. 8.20 is a rip off for what I received.
