Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Wow!! I am super impressed. This is a hidden jewel. Whole Island duck, awesomely crispy.. and such a huge portion, just like you can get in Hawaiian. Hot Hawaiian combination with beef, shrimp and pork, Delicious!! Sauces were all very light and delicious compared to a lot of other Chinese places. Po Po (Pu pu, not sure why it's spelled like that) platter came with one of those flame thingys in the middle to make the chicken skewers crispy... I really liked the mix of cultural food available here, a lot to choose from. Decor is a little cheesy, but not really what we went there for. The dining room was pretty typical of a shopping center joint, matching pink doors, fans and napkins. I was a little surprised at how soft the cloth napkins were and that a place like this would even have cloth napkins (not really a make or break kind of thing though, just an observation). We were there on a weekday so it was super quiet. The prices seemed a little high until we got our food, Most certainly worth it! I was a big House of Dynasty (over by Hayfield) fan, but I think Peking Chef has stolen my heart. I would have never expected this place to be so good... don't miss out on this one.

Went back the other day and ordered the hot and sour soup, fried meat dumplings and pepper steak. The hot and sour soup was really good, the only better soup I've had was at House of Dynasty. Got the fried meat dumplings but instead of them being firm they were mushy and I couldn't eat them. The pepper steak was also good. I was puzzled as this place used to not be very good but has really improved though the meat dumplings have gone down hill and you still have to suffer with the Hawaiian music though it is played low. And the waitress still vanished into the back and you can hear her and someone seeming to have arguments. Unfortunately she is in the back more than in the front so the service suffers. The fortune cookies are NOT fortune cookies. They are "saying" cookies saying something like "You have great wisdom". They should say something about the future such as "You will soon be playing with a full deck of cards". But I'll go back again.

Chinese food from here is good. Very solid. I've ordered here a bunch of times and the food is consistently good. I've had better but there are not many places better in this area. Give them a try.

This restaurant has gone downhill. The last few times we've ordered carryout, we've been disappointed. Last night's order included dumplings which were good, but the moo shu pork was clearly made out of leftover, overcooked pork. Parts of the vegetables also were overcooked and looked like leftovers. And two of the pancakes that came with the moo shu were in shreds. That said, the chicken with cashews seemed freshly made. I'm afraid that we've had below-average meals there too many times to go back.

Family run for almost 20yrs in this shopping center. Weekdays the dining room is almost empty but they do a brisk takeout service. The weekends have a 1/2 full dining room and non-stop takeout traffic. Steve and Helen the owners great everyone like family. The food is above average to very good on most items. For a treat try the Beef with Shitiki Mushrooms- it is to die for.

Just tried this place the other day and so happy I did. The chicken dumplings are the best I've ever had and the general tsos chicken was awesome and lightly fried. The chicken was juicy and the sauce was just right. Oh and get the Hawaiian chicken, yes just do it. They deliver.
