Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Worst Chinese in town

Have been ordering delivery from here for the last couple of months since the other place we'd been ordering from evidently changed hands and got just plain bad. Wong's is pretty good. Isn't great by any means though. They are very punctual in delivering when they say they will. Their Crab Rangoon is excellent! Everything else is, well, just average. But heck, average is better than most Chinese in Winchester that we've found.

This restaurant came to our attention recently when we got a menu in the mail. I checked out these Yelp reviews and was not impressed... but then I noticed that the owners have recently been responding in a way that suggests a push to improve. I figured it would be worth giving them a shot, and I'm glad we did. The food we've had has been great, especially given the price point. We have had and been pleased with: sesame chicken, sweet & sour chicken, orange beef, moo shu pork, and beef fried rice. And the General Tso's shrimp was awesome. Generous portion, the broccoli was just right, and it wasn't too spicy (for me, that's a positive - it meant we could share some with the toddler). The service was pretty good when we dined in. It came across as a touch curt to me, but I don't think anything was meant by it. They did not hesitate to provide extra pancakes for the moo shu when we asked, so I'm willing to call it a feature rather than a bug. And when we ordered delivery, the time it took was reasonable given the estimate provided and the distance from the restaurant to our home. All in all, a solid 4 stars based on two experiences.

Wong's is a small run-down restaurant located just outside the old-town section of Loudon street. I did not eat at this restaurant, instead I opted for takeout. The price is moderate to high compared to other Chinese take-out of this kind. However, the food is pretty bland. The menu is the standard Chinese you'll find anywhere, nothing special. Parking is in the rear of the building. The entire restaurant should be renovated and has an overall dark, run-down. dirty feeling.

Good chinese food is a difficult commodity in Winchester. However, this is probably the best I've found for it, given the circumstances. Everything I've eaten there has agreed with me, and the delivery service is fast. Additionally, the portions they give you are plentiful and I do not feel they skimp on the shrimp or seafood, which a lot of places do to try and save money. Excellent value for what you get, and I will continue to order out my chinese from here as long as I live in Winchester.

This is the first time I have reviewed a resturant but this must be said. We order at wongs last night. We ordered a crispy chicken combination plater. My son but into a large bone and the texture of the chicken piece was off and very unusual. The whole thing went into the trash.almost 10.00 gone.

Hands down the worst Chinese I have ever eaten. Completely tasteless and the "spicy dishes" had no spice in them whatsoever.

So sad about the bad reviews. My boyfriend and I have been eating here for many years and it is very good Chinese food! Never gotten anything that didn't taste great! The staff are very friendly!!

It looks dirty because the place is so old. It may not be. But, most important I can see where they were going with the food, he The FOOD was OLD. I could not put it up to my nose/ mouth. What a shame, great non-chain reatsurants are hard to find in Winchester.
