I love Pita Pit. I only wish they'd opened up before the second semester of my senior year! This store is in a prime location right across the street from William and Mary in the new Tribe Square retail/housing combo building. The staff, though a bit green, is pleasant and usually very friendly, and the pitas are delicious. I've never had any ingredient taste stale or dry, and they're great about adding "just a little more" cheese or sauce or whatever it is. The prices are very reasonable at about $5-$8 for the pitas (which are quite filling) and you can add chips and a drink for a total of about $10. Best of all, they're open very late during the academic year, and your body will appreciate you choosing Pita Pit over Wawa mac n cheese. As a sidenote, the Pita Pit staff at this location have been excellent about catering to the local college community -- many student orgs have taken to doing their profit shares at Pita Pit since they make it fun and profitable. Student volunteers go and work behind the counter for 2-3 hours making pitas, and then they get to keep 30% of whatever they make in that time period for their organization. Everyone I know who has done it had a lot of fun and made a considerable amount of money. I definitely plan to come back when I visit!
