A small, but comfortable, locals place, tucked into the strip mall behind the Wendy's at the corner of Great Neck and Mill Dam Rds. in VB. Primarily a small plate cocktail lounge, with some interesting and creative drinks, and not-so creative food. There are usually some seafood, pasta, chicken and burger offerings, plus some good-looking salads, which we've always found to be good but not spectacular. Go for the opportunity to visit (closely) with friends around some drinks in a comfortable little spot after work, and don't expect to be blown away by the food.

Only stopped in for drinks and did not have the good but it looked great. I have not had a better drink in a long time. Don't expect a weak drink in this place!

I stopped her on the way back from Virginia Beach recently and I was so impressed. I loved the atmosphere, it's kind of a hole-in-the-wall dive bar feel but clean and pleasant. I ordered the crab dinner. You can get more than one or a single cake and I got a single because I'm trying to watch my weight. I have to say part of what appealed to me was the portion size and the health factor of what they serve. My crab cake was delicious. I'm a crab cake fanatic and it was one of the best I have had. It came with a serving of brown rice with black beans over it. Um... YUM! Healthy and tasty? How dare you! It also came with sauteed seasonal veggies (summer squash). I also had the dessert that was not on the menu (I guess it changes?) It was homemade Boston Cream Pie and it was amazing. I didn't indulge in any drinks, but there is a full bar and what looks like good house drinks. If you are ever in the area I recommend giving them a try. My portion was a half portion and it was just enough to satisfy me and not have to drag a box home, and plenty of room for dessert!

Oh, man ... those martinis! I crave Lisa's martinis. They're absolutely perfect. This little spot is a true gem. The food is consistently delicious; the atmosphere is lively, and then there are the martinis. Don't miss this place!

I can't believe there are no reviews for Stoley's...maybe everyone is trying to keep it our little secret! Great food, great drinks...but get there before 6 if you want a table...not a huge place, but very popular with the locals! And (ready for this?!?), they serve half portions. Crab nuts, chop salad, delish desserts, fabulous nightly specials (usually pasta & seafood of some sort)...never mind...don't go there (I want to keep it all to myself!).

Stopped in for lunch and were thrilled to see an Independent We Stand sticker proudly displayed in the window. From that point on we were a bit biased, but the food lived up to our expectations. Tried a cup of she crab soup and the blackened tuna tacos and both were amazing. Definitely going back sometime soon for dinner to try their famous martinis! Great little local joint for lunch and dinner with friendly staff.

This is an excellent little restaurant found in the corner shops of Great Neck Road and Mill Dam Road in the beach. For starters I had the Zen Martini (Stoli Citros w/ a lime twist) and my date had some wine. We also had an order of beer battered shrimp for the app. These were pretty large shrimp to. I want to note is that their entree's are big and each one of them can be ordered in a half portion. We ended up splitting the Tuscany chicken breasts. The chicken was awesome. Tender, juicy and coated with some spinach, tomato, garlic & feta. I saw some crab cakes on another table and I'm pretty sure that's going to be my next meal here. :) Service was excellent and and the owner came by and spoke with us for a few minutes. It's a very cool place and I look forward to coming back in the future.

Small, tucked away on Great Neck Road and Mill Dam, but a great place to eat. Food was terrific, service was excellent, and we didn't have any trouble getting a table on a weekday. Never been there on the weekend, but wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Great food and great service every time! Best bronzed tuna tacos in Virginia Beach.

Our friends who live in Great Neck turned us onto this wonderful little restaurant and we are happy they did. The owners are great, the atmosphere is great, and the food is amazing. Their cocktails and very tasty as well. For appetizers we love the oysters rockefeller (best in hampton roads in our opinion) and the beer battered shrimp, and the tuna tacos. We also love their chop salad, in fact many times when we head that way we order a combination of those appetizers and a salad, and the toll house cookie dessert(amazing as well) and don't even order a main entree. We have never had a bad meal here, or bad service, and we will keep making the drive from chesapeake. Only downside is that the venue is small, so if there is a big rush it will take you a while to get a table, but trust me its worth the wait.

Out with several friends so instead of dinner we decided on several appies. Oysters Rockerfeller, Crab Balls and Chicken Nachos.... I can tell you I thought the Oysters were some of the best I ever had! the Crab balls had tons of crabmeat! Delish! Really liked the Nachos but felt it needed more salsa on top.... Definitely will go again! But keep in mind the place is very small so get their early! Seems to be sort of a secret place in VB only know to some discerning locals ~ feel lucky to have found it!

My wife and I love this place. We went there last week. As always, the martinis are the absolute best. My Oysters Rockefeller was great.
