The dish I ordered came with a spring roll in it! Props! I came here to check out the restaurant next door that was for sale and stopped in real quick. Like MOST Vietnamese/Pho restaurants they don't bother to refill your water. They aren't as attentive to you as you would like EVER. Once the foods dropped of your on your own. I ended up walking to the front to pay. The food was pretty good overall, summer rolls come out quick as expected.

This is the best total soup experience (TSE) in Springfield. One or two other local places also have really good pho, but Saigon Quan has gone the extra mile to create a pleasant and peaceful atmosphere (as opposed to the cafeteria style of comparable area pho joints). I have tried a few of their appetizers as well and so far, they have been above the average.

So much professionalism for this owner to comment back with such manners and correct grammars. "First", Yelp is a place for people to be opinionated based on their experiences. Opinions cannot be true or false, therefore cannot be DISHONEST or LIES. Perhaps, you did not know the correct words to use based on the rest of your response and based on your use of the English language. "Second", I did not attack you personally and just reviewed based on the food and service. For you to attack me as being unknowledgeable makes you the weaker person. Who are you to tell me what I do and do not know and have experienced as a person? And even so, experience and living in a certain place does not make you a knowledgable and "authentic" chef. A lot of factors can play into being a good chef. I could live down the street from famous French restaurants in France but it would not make me knowledgeable of what authentic French cuisine is. Many people travel all over the world and still do not claim that they now know what true authentic food from all over the world is. Don't get too big headed now. "Lastly", your arguments are weak and you pull assumptions out of nowhere. My reviews are unbiased and are not meant to target Asian restaurants in this area nor am I associated with any restaurants. Some other people on here have written similar reviews of your restaurant and you have not attacked them like you have done to me. My reviews are my honest opinions and I don't try to sugarcoat what I try to say to please or not please anyone. If it is good, I'll give it praises. If it is bad, I'll do the exact opposite. Most professional businesses would not respond to their customers in such ways, yet they would try to make relations better and figure out how to improve. I guess THIS is what distinguishes a five star restaurant from a one star restaurant.

Definitely a fan. We tried out this restaurant a few days ago because it was a dreary day and what else do you do on a dreary day, eat PHO! I told my boyfriend that I do NOT want to go back to Saigon Cafe (our usual spot until now) because of I feel that the restaurant is to drabby and dirty. I love a good bowl of soup but I also want to eat it in a CLEAN, warm atmosphere. And that's exactly what I got a Saigon Quan. All of the waiters were friendly, prompt and fast. The food was delicious. We had chicken pho with spring rolls. Portions are big enough to share. We liked it so much that we went back a few days later and ordered noodle and rice dishes and are convinced that we made the right choice by trying this place out! It is the best kept secret of Springfield.

Hands down the best pho spot in NoVA! You can't go wrong with either the spring or summer rolls to start of the meal. As for the pho: the broth is rich, full and flavorful! All the sides are fresh as well. There's nothing bad I can say about this place. One thing that did bother me when I first started coming here over a year ago was the lack of service when it came to water refills -- it almost seems like they don't want to fill up your water because they don't want to interrupt the meal. Since then it's gotten exponentially better but I'm not sure if it's because I'm a regular now or something that they actually worked on. The service is bar none. I've tried their other dishes too and they're all delicious. Pho Saigon differs from other pho places because it is an authentic Vietnamese restaurant that serves other courses besides pho. Go. Here. Now. -- You won't be disappointed.

Absolutely love, love, love this place!!! My son and I come here at least once or twice a week! Broth is perfect and never too greasy. Can't get enough of the Thai Iced Tea too!!!

I'm an international student from Vietnam. That is obviously why I love Vietnamese food and seek for it all over the place in VA. How I heard about this restaurant? From my classmate (he is American), and many Vietnamese people, like my hosts, my cousins, and friends. I have never heard of a Vietnamese restaurant in VA that has got so many compliments and recommendations like this one. So first, I love the food. Absolutely authentic Vietnamese cuisine! You should try the Bun Cha Ha Noi (Hanoian Grilled Pork with Vermicelli), Canh Chua, Ca Kho To, Ca Chien (they have their own special sauce) ...... I ENJOY THE FOOD THERE :) Second, I like the music there. Wow...I mean it's just right. Not too loud, not too low. Not too classic, but not like techno, rap, blah blah either. Anyway, you can enjoy ur meal either with or without talking that way. Third, the service is good. The waiters are polite and enthusiastic. They're all good looking waiters too:)) Even though I live in Fairfax which is 20-25 mins away, I usually come to this restaurant for Viet food.

I've only had the pho here, and it is pretty good. I got a regular bowl with steak, brisket, and meatballs. They gave a good portion of meat, had a flavorful broth, and just the right amount of noodles. My friend and I also ordered some summer rolls. The peanut sauce was just okay. We spiced it up a bit with some rooster sauce =) The service was pretty good. While I was waiting for my friend to arrive, they checked on me a couple times to see if I needed anything. The restaurant offers a lot of other Vietnamese dishes besides Pho. I got caramelized chicken with lemongrass and chiles to go for my husband. He enjoyed it and said it was a little spicier than he thought it would be. I would definitely come back here for the Pho. Next step is to try some other dishes on the menu.

I had their spring rolls, pho tai (beef), and their chanh mui drink (salty lemon) all three were awesome!! spring rolls were crunchy and hot, pho soup was hot, the broth was just right, it didn't tasted bland. Their chanh mui was awesome, not over powering. I would dine again with them.
(4)Susan J.
pretty darn good. i ordered the regular B14 pho (tripe, fatty brisket, tendon). my dad ordered large B2 and my mom got the bun bo hue. all were absolutely delicious and parents approved! the service was mediocre. i had to ask for water 3 separate times and looked to the waiter to order than looked to him again for the check. menu was super extensive. will def go back. oh yeah, reg pho was 6.95, large 7.95, bun was 8.5. not too shabby. and now i smell like pho.
(4)Anna H.
This place is great, they have good lunch specials with a main dish pho or platter, a spring or summer roll, and a soft drink. I have taken several co-workers with to try their first pho and they have all really liked it. The broth is really flavorful and they give you a huge portion. The other dishes are good as well - I have tried the Bun and a friend tried the chicken lemongrass platter, all yummy. They also have really good bubble tea and bubble coffee options - try the blended frozen coffee with bubbles its the best!
(4)Veronica K.
My huband's and my fave pho place in Springfield. Everything delicious, and I especially appreciate that their pho comes in two sizes. The broth is sooo good!
(4)J S.
Excellent food, good service and a nice clean place. I had pho and summer rolls for lunch and was very pleased with both the quality of food and services. This is a small place and wouldn't be good for a big party but a few adults in a small group would enjoy the intimate environment and the attention of the waiting staff.

Thanks to my wife's glowing review of Saigon Quan's, I decided to recommended my close friend's birthday party here a week ago. It turned out, I had the best Vietnamese food ever!!! The most authentic Vietnamese food in northern VA. Base on my observation, Saigon Quan seem to be classic yet modern Vietnamese cuisine, especially for these dishes we ordered that also named the restaurant: pho beef noodle soup, Grilled Pork with Spring Rolls, Beef Stew, Lemongrass chicken plate and last not but not least, the fried fish with SGQ's special sauce, its is unbelievable! The special desert w/ fried banana and sweet sticky rice adding coconut milk! its beyond our imagination! Our party have about 20 guests, but the staffs are just on top of the hour and services. We didn't have to wait that long and they just as friendly as they can be. The restaurant is getting big on its atmosphere as i can see, customers throng for the quality food and the good prices. A large bowl of steaming pho noodles and veggies swimming in delicious broth and topped with beef is only $6. Add a plate of delicate Vietnamese spring rolls (fried or fresh) for only a few dollars more. Lastly, the restaurant itself is clean, modern, the staff is very knowleadgeable about the Vietnamese food and the great thing is they're open till 11p! I highly recommended! I will come back for more! HQT & Chloe

So far the best pho I tried in years of my quest for the great pho. The broth was at the right concentration of all the right stuff and also visually this pho looked right - generous amount of meat and veggies over perfectly cooked rice noodles. Fried spring rolls were superb as well. I would like to encourage all of my Yelp friends in this area to come here and experience Saigon Quan themselves.
(5)Eva C.
Wow, this was a great Vietnamese place! We came here looking for pho, but found such an extensive menu that we randomly selected dishes and found them to be great! The spring roll was good, but nothing that knocked our socks off. The Hanoi-style bun was great! I had never heard or seen it before (co-worker has since told me that it's northern style while we normally see southern in the US). For the bun, we got pork meatballs and sliced grilled pork in a fish sauce flavored broth with green papaya. It came with a plate of rice noodle, lettuce, mint and basil and a small side of small spicy peppers, sliced garlic, and some sort of paste (maybe soybean). We asked the waiter how to eat it since I thought you were suppose combine everything together in standard bun eating style, but he said they ate everything separately or you could use the lettuce to wrap. We also got the caramelized catfish in a claypot. With this dish, we got 3 pieces of catfish (in a claypot) that was in the cooked in this great sauce that complimented rice perfectly. Admittedly on a hot summer day, this dish felt a bit out of season, but it was great to get a chance to try different types of vietnamese cuisine! The ambience was a little weird. We came expecting a pho shop, but this place was a bit more upscale...ie, no chopsticks and soup spoons at the table. It was a bit disconcerting when the tv in the back started showing something on bedbugs and creepy crawlies, but luckily we were already done eating. Even better there's a bakery a few doors down that sells bahn mi sandwiches and a great asian/latino supermarket!
(4)Karen L.
Good place to satisfy a pho craving if your in the area and definitely my favorite in springfield/Annandale. We live around the corner from here so it's super convienent to pickup pho and spring rolls to eat at home.
(4)Brendan J.
3.75 There is a grand opening banner outside of Saigon Quan, but I think this has always been a pho place. Maybe management has changed? The menu seems pretty big but for the most part is made up of pho, egg noodle soups, rice dishes, vermicelli dishes, and fried rice dishes with various combinations of proteins. I would really like know where they get the various seafood balls (scallop, shrimp, and fish) for the seafood pho or if they make them - they were really tasty. The broth seemed pretty good, but I don't think I have the MSG-sniffing abilities that other Yelpers have honed. The kitchen seems to be skillful with the grill and the fryer based on the combination bun. Grilled pork and shrimps were juicy, smoky, and flavorful, and the spring rolls were virtually greasy free. There was also ample nuon cham, herbs, and veggies for the bun. Well done. Nothing fancy, but well executed and reasonably priced. The menu indicates that you get a free order of spring rolls or summer rolls with orders over $25.

I love their Cah Ko To (clay pot catfish) and their Pho. Waiter staff is very courteous and always kept asking us if we had enough to eat and drink. Very clean and nice atmosphere. Chef even came out and thanked us for coming . This is not just a pho place but a full Vietnamese menu. Get a glass of the tai tea or coconut water - good stuff.
(5)Pat O.
Saigon Quan is my favorite casual Vietnamese restaurant in the area. There's a welcome "funk" to the food - you can tell when they've used the fish sauce...and I like it. The pho is good as well with the broth both clear and beefy.
(4)Megan P.
I absolutely love Pho Saigon Quan!! Believe me, I've been to plenty of different pho places in the area, just to try and pick and choose which places would be "repeats". Pho Saigon Quan is actually owned by a customer I used to deal with and she has become a good friend. The restaurant is owned by her family, but run by her daughter and son-in-law. Their restaurant is beautifully decorated, very neat and clean, not like some of the other restaurants out there that have nothing on the walls, dirty tables and the fear of "when were those chopsticks cleaned last?!" Everybody that works there is very nice and helpful as well! I've recommended this pho restaurant to my family and friends and I would recommend it to anybody who is willing to listen! You should definitely check it out!

I just ate here for the first time today and am glad I did. I ordered Pho, it was pretty good, not great but decent. I ate it without putting in any sauces and was still pretty good. They were generous with the meat. They had quite a large menu. I didn't get a chance to try anything else but will definitely be back to do so. Edit: I went back and got Bun Bo Hue and I was not impressed. The broth was very short in flavor, seemed like it was just clear broth with red oil pour over it. They didn't use the right meat cuts, they just used the same meat used in their pho. It seemed as if the Chef was not familiar with cooking Bun Bo Hue. I will not come back here for Bun Bo Hue, for pho perhaps.
(3)Miko F.
This place is great. A lot to choose from, my picky eater white boyfriend was happy to eat there too!
(5)Dman P.
Very nice waiter. Good food. The walls in the booth were dirty.
(2)Michael E.
The meatballs in their pho in general tasted excellent. They also have creative drinks (I had an avocado boba tea). The only reason this place is not 5 stars is that I got bathroom issues afterwards. I am not sure this restaurant is guilty, but I am suspicious.

SERVICE Fast and efficient. We've been there twice (A Sunday and Monday evening) and there's never been a wait. Although, the young waiters have not given us our tab unless we ask. And, do not pick up our tab unless we flag them down or go up to the counter. But they're attentive otherwise, and fill up our water quickly. AMBIENCE Clean, modern and without the tacky asian decorations which "mom and pop" asian restaurants tend to have. Also, they play classical music and not the bad asian karaoke (ie. Paris By Night). Two thumbs up! PRICE The dishes are very reasonably priced. I've had better tasting Bun Bo Hue for less and at a lower price in Cali. FOOD We ordered a large bowl of Pho (About $7 which is a great price!), Bun Bo Hue (About $10), and a rice dish with quail (About $10). Pho The Pho was wonderful. Hot, delicious, great portion, and hit the spot. We did not get a hearty portion of mint leaves and lime with the Pho which I usually get in Cali but I've noticed that this tends to be the amount given in the east coast (I've tried Pho restaurants in New York and WA D.C. where the portions of Pho and mint leaves were horrible). Bun Bo Hue Good. Not the best I've had but still good. The broth was less red in color than what I'm used to. Also, it sucks that they charge an extra 75 cents for the ham hock. I'm used to it coming with the dish. I can live without the ham hock but since it doesn't seem like a Bun Bo Hue dish without it, I added it. I feel that charging an extra 75 cents is a bit like nickle and diming. Quail Rice Dish It was okay. My mothers home-made dish is better because she marinates it, and I've had quail dishes at other restaurants which were better. I will not be ordering this one again but not because its terrible, instead, I won't be ordering it again because there are better dishes at this restaurant (ie. Pho). It's wonderful to have a local Vietnamese restaurant when I'm away from home so WE WILL BE BACK!
(4)Martin C.
The Pho is excellent! We have been there several times and no disappointments. We like to go to PSQ after we shop at the markets in the same plaza. Very clean, and the wait staff is on the ball.
(4)D K.
Pretty darn good! Nice chunks of meat! Which simmers the broth very well. Definitely hidden meatball in the bottom of the finished pho.
(4)Anup M.
We enjoyed the food. The ambiance is nice compared to other vietnamese restaraunts. We liked the catfish. Service may need some improvement. Food was good.
(4)B. G.
I like this place! The Pho is tasty and the ingredients are fresh. A lot of noodles and maybe a *tad* stingy w/ the meat, but all in all a good meal. The veg spring rolls are good, too.
(4)Sohrab S.
This is a review of the vegetarian pho. The broth was fantastic, the restaurant was very clean and I loved the inclusion of vegetables in my soup to make up for the lack of meat. The biggest blow to my experience was that there was a small strand of tripe in my soup, and I was already 3/4 done. Understandably, this does not matter for people who eat meat, but this is a pretty big deal to me as I avoid it due to health reasons. The restaurant was kind enough to not charge me, and I expressed my appreciation and made sure to tell them that the only issue was the discovery of tripe. I will not be returning.

Saigon Quan serves up the absolute best Vietnamese food in the Springfield area. I have tried every single Vietnamese restaurant in Springfield - trust me, this is the winner by a mile. The ambience is nice for a vietnamese restaurant. I often believe that the best Vietnamese restaurants have the plainest decor. This place however has a water feature, plants, and flat screen TVs. But let's be honest here, I don't come for the plants and TVs - I come for the FOOD! I have to start with what made me a fan - the Pho. The broth perfectly complex - I don't have to add anything to it as it is well balanced. I enjoy the generous meats added to it as well. My second favorite here is the Bun Bo Hue. It is extremely tasty with just the right amount of spice and lemongrass. I also highly recommend the clams appetizer. It's comes with this amazing sauce and I haven't had it any other vietnamese restaurant. Even if I didn't live in Springfield, I would still drive out to Saigon Quan for the dishes mentioned above. Hope to see you there!

The first thing that I and my friends noticed about this Pho restaurant was that the decor was nicer than your usual pho restaurant. They actually had waiters at lunch time that were attentive and tried hard. The menu was broad and the four of us tried: seafood pho (2), pork vermicelli, and seafood claypot. We started off with two orders of spring rolls which were $3.50 per plate of 2 rolls. A peanut sauce came with each order but it was not as tasty as I was expecting. Not sure what they cut it with. The rolls themselves were excellent, nicely rolled, soft, translucent, delicious. The seafood pho was well received and was about $8 each. But, after all, how can anyone ruin pho if you have done the basics? My wife liked the pork vermicelli ($9) and was offering it around for everyone to taste. It was ample and she was the only one who had a substantial portion at the end of our lunch hour to put into a doggy bag. I ordered a seafood claypot ($9.50) and I was expecting something like a Chinese claypot -- but it was different. Chinese claypot would have been an extremely hot, large, gravy-enriched dish but this was a smaller (though ample sized), rice layered dish with shrimps and fishballs that lacked the full flavors I was expecting. I suppose it was intended to have burnt rice encrusted on the bottom of the "clay" pot, but the juices were not as rich as I would have liked and the seafood was rather limited. Maybe the chicken would have been better. But, the lack of a rich gravy, and burnt, crispy rice instead, made this a different type of experience. Overall, it was a nice experience though. I bought a credit of $25 on Restaurants.com and the final bill came close to $30 when the $25 was factored in. While the spring rolls, and the four main dishes came to $44, paying the bill would have been better had taxes and tip been itemized. Not sure that it added up properly because the total was just written in with any indication of how much was the gratuity or the tax. It was a relatively busy place for lunch. Until I try other things, I am willing to give this place 3.5 stars -- almost there! So, I'm willing to go back, though I'm not sure this is a favorite yet like the other reviewers. We'll see -- and I'll let you know.

I cook Pho regularly, and my family eat at Pho restaurant regularly, too. My kids thought Pho there was really good. I had Bun Bo Hue (spicy noodle), and it was authentic and delicious! We also had quails, which as nicely done. My spouse had rice and grilled pork. It looked good, too. It was our first time and we certainly will come back again. The restaurant was very clean, and the service was prompt. Note that it was not too busy on a Saturday evening. We were told the restaurant has been under new owner/management for over a year. A good bowl of Pho has to have basil and culantro. This restaurant has culantro. Many Pho restaurants have jacked up the price for Pho in the past year. This restaurant is still reasonably priced. What a great find!

The only reason I even knew and went to this restaurant in the first place was because some of the people that I hang out with know the owner of this place and suggested us to go here in one of our get-togethers. While I was here, I tried the dishes that were highly recommended by the owner himself like shaky beef (bo luc lac), fried whole fish with the house special sauce (which to me, is not all that special), lotus salad (goi ngo sen) and some other apetizer dishes that were too average to leave an impression in me, thus, escaped my memory. Anyhow, the shaky beef here lacked that rich smokey aroma, flavors and spices weren't very well balanced and the beef cubes were not all that tender. I have had much better shaky beef elsewhere. As for the fried fish dish, well the fish it self was ok but the accompanying sauce didn't go too well with it in my opinion. And I don't really know what the deal is with this dish. I mean is it Vietnamese? is it Thai? If it's a Vietnamese dish, then we Vietnamese eat fried fish with garlic/lemon mixed fish sauce. If it's a Thai dish, then fried fish is eaten with a sauce that is often more tangy than the one used in this restaurant. If you want this dish, I think you are better off eating it in a thai restaurant where they have much better accompanying sauce. All in all, I give this restaurant 2 stars. The food here is not super bad that you can't finish a dish, but it's not all the great that could make one want to come back or recommend it to anybody.
(2)Patricia Pearl L.
The pho was great! I had the seafood pho and thought it was one of the best I've had. I've eaten at three other pho places in NoVa and MD, so take it as you may. We also had a couple other dishes that were fabulous! One was a vegetarian dish. It has shitake mushrooms, bok choy and ginger with a yummy sauce. Delicious! I would definitely go back.
(4)Will C.
The decor here is nice and the tables are spread out far from each other. Service here is lackluster, it took approximately 5 minutes before we were greeted by our waiter for drinks. Keep in mind the restaurant only had 2 other patrons so there was no excuse for them to be so late. While I am on that note, once the food was delivered to the table the waiters were no where to be seen. Not once were the waters refilled or were we asked how the food was. I personally had to walk up to the cash register and ask them for extra rice. I ordered the bo luc lac (marinated cubes of beef with white rice). The other people in my party ordered a seafood noodle soup and the broken rice combo platter. The bo luc lac contained ample amount of beef and veggies; however the beef lacked any flavor. For some reason there was potatoes in this dish which I have never had anywhere else. The potatoes look and tasted like potato wedges cut up into cubes. I believe the chefs tried to create an American twist to this dish which I was not a fan of. I would recommend others to avoid this dish if you are looking for authentic bo luc lac. The seafood noodle soup was loaded with an extreme amount of MSG. I understand all Asian restaurants use MSG, however this place went overboard. The broken rice combo platter was probably the best dish at our table. It wasn't horrible but definitely not the best especially compared to places in Eden Center. So overall, conveniently located for people who live in the Springfield vicinity? Yes. However the food wasn't anything memorable but I may give them another shot another day.
(2)Lorraine R.
We missed this place and we're happy to give it another chance since moving back to the area. So glad we did, great service and great food. My husband and daughter had beef pho and I had the beef clay pot. We had a side of spring roles and iced coffee. Everything was yummy and fresh.
(4)Vanessa H.
I live 40-minute away from Eden Center and have always troubled myself whenever I want to eat Pho or Com Tam. Always go to Fresh World and Phuoc Hoa Market inside this square, so I try out Sai Gon Quan with my family for dinner, we ordered set for 6 and was served with delicious traditional dishes (Sweet n Sour Soup, Fish in the pot, ect). I am an easy eater for foreign food, but as a Viet girl myself, and my grandma and mom are great cook, and I myself is good at cooking top, so I hardly find restaurant's Pho or other dishes delicious, BUT, Sai Gon Quan has perfect cook whose taste bud is just amazing ! I'll give this restaurant 5 stars for friendly service. (There is all guys, and they are nice), nice atmosphere, even though a little bit dark because of the romantic thingy, but you come to restaurant for food, and their food is delicious, so that all matters ! I have tried dinner set, Pho, Bun Bo Hue, Mi Xao Gion, Seafood noodle (Hu tieu do bien), Com Tam, Com Tay Cam, ... And they are all good :) Love this place, I am a regular customer, who often came here on weekends :) These guys here deserve much, because I overheard that they live off from customer's tip :) They get like, 3$ an hour or so, I heard my aunt said so. :)
(5)Irene C.
I would give 1 star for the crispy spring rolls. The amount of oil that came out of the two rolls that I ate was disgusting. Oil was literally dripping out each time I took a bite. I squeezed each spring roll into the napkin to remove excess oil but there was still a TON of oil left. I used 3 napkins and all 3 were soaked with oil. The spring rolls barely had any meat, it was filled with vegetables and a tiny amt of ground meat. I would not recommend these. The sweet and sour tamarind soup with salmon was great. The salmon was really dry. I think I would order monk fish or shrimp next time.
(2)Lili Norma G.
Very decent pho. The beef and tendon cuts in their pho are good quality. Don't bother driving up to Eden center; this place is just as good.
(4)Karen C.
Wasn't a huge fan of this place. Will note that the place was indeed full so either I'm ordering the wrong dish or I'm just not a fan. Service - was okay, was horrible but then again, it was non-existent. When we were done, it was clear that we were ready for the check, eventually I just got up to pay at the register. Had to ask them for the carryout containers at the register. Crispy Springs - wasn't crispy and they don't use the rice paper. Wouldn't order them again. Beef Stew - The broth, carrots, beef and tendons were stewed perfectly. I had an issue with the rice noodles as they seemed like they were leftovers of other broken pieces of noodles and just threw them all into my bowl. If I do come back here, I will try their rice dishes. Wouldn't go here for their beef stew, pho or crispy spring rolls.
(2)Shaynna F.
Great tasting pho and they do crispy rolls the way they are SUPPOSED to be done with pho. Will definitely be back soon!
(4)Ashley R.
The food is delicious here. I had the chicken pho bowl & my husband had the sweet & sour beef noodle dish w/peanuts. We also had the crispy spring rolls which were also very good. This was our second time here and we loved it!
(5)Don A.
We ate here at the recommendation of a friend and were quite pleased with the food and service. The dishes we ordered were: Fried Tofu with Peanut Sauce Shrimp Pork and Egg Roll over Rice Vermicelli Chicken over Sweet & Sour Spicy Noodles All dishes were delicious, and hoisenberry sauce and sarachi sauce were on all the tables. The vermicelli dish came in a big bowl that two of us split. It had bean sprouts, crushed peanuts, sliced cucumbers and the noodles. A tasty side dish of fish sauce was available to scoop over the meal. The chicken dish was just a little bit too spicy for the teenager in our group, but once they get older they will learn to love it! Great place to eat and we'll be back....it is a good replacement for the restaurant that was shut down police for trafficking several years ago. 8-O

SUMMARY: Great Pho, decent decor, bad service. Order mix-ups/mess-ups are FREQUENT. Veggies could be fresher, summer rolls are okay, coffee is awful. The great Pho makes up for most of this, though. Would return for Pho, and other entrees, but wouldn't go for their summer rolls, and wouldn't touch their coffee with a ten foot pole. (7/10, "Good" ). ATMOSPHERE: The place is surprisingly clean and well decorated with bamboo, a fountain, and miscellaneous real and artificial plants. Did not expect this walking in. (8/10) SERVICE: The waiters seem extremely confused all of the time. Before my very eyes, two different waiters messed up three different orders. As I laughed quietly to myself about this confusion, I noticed a a piece of tripe in my bowl, which I did not order. As I looked closer, there was a total of 2 pieces of tripe and even one tendon. This seems to be a common problem judging from other reviews. I finished my bowl without complaining because I like the tripe and tendon, but it wasn't what I ordered. If it matters to you, I would advise that you CHECK YOUR BOWL and make sure they got the order right, and EMPHASIZE your order number. Next time, I will be repeating my order twice to my server, emphasizing the menu item numbers. (4/10) FOOD: PHO: I have tried options with flank, steak, brisket (and inadvertently tripe and tendon). The broth is sweet and flavorful and clear. You can clearly taste the spices used. Basically perfect broth and noodles. It comes with a little bit of basil and jalapeño, very little culantro, and a ton of beansprouts. The limes I was given seemed dry, not fresh (possibly frozen), but I don't use lime anyways. I wish there was more jalapeño and culantro. All of the meats were excellent in flavor, texture, and amount. Broth and noodles were perfect. SUMMER ROLLS: Meh. They shrimp they used were really small. The roll is mostly noodle, a little lettuce, and some basil. Optimally, it should have bigger shrimp, more lettuce and basil, less noodle. Peanut sauce was excellent, though. VIET ICED COFFEE: God awful. Dishraggy, over-extracted yet flavorless. Basically, the coffee they use must be extremely old, stale, cheap, and low quality. Would not recommend. The Pho is super good though, and they have a huge menu. Looking forward to trying other entrees. (9/10)

The restaurant is nice, and the service was good (which was a relief since I've since given up on Saigon City and was itching to become a regular at a different viet restaurant in the area) The eggrolls are served hot and crispy on top of a traditional green lettuce. For entree, I've ordered the pho which was good but I've also ordered the bo kho which was REALLY good. It was hearty, yummy, the meat was incredible tender, veggies were on point, and the soup was delicious with a mix of sweet, spicy, and HEAVEN. It is traditionally served with a baguette, but I ordered it with yellow egg nooodles and it was SO worth it. MMM MMM.

The food is great! This place is one of my favorite Springfield spots for Viet. The veggie pho, curry and carmalized dishes are amazing.

Saigon Quan is a little bit of Eden, but located in Springfield. Their extensive menu does not have a certain specialty dish like some establishments in Eden, but has a wide variety of dishes such as pho, hu tieu, rice dishes, banh xeo, bo kho, and etc., that can satisfy your craving for Vietnamese food. We started off with the cha gio (eggrolls) and shrimp toast. The cha gio was the crispy, chewy version which we both enjoyed. The shrimp toast was basically shrimp paste in a baguette and tasted freshly made! For our entrees, the boyfriend opted for pho and I ordered the beef bo kho with baguette. The bo kho had a thick soup but was generous on the veggies and meat and hit the spot. My boyfriend had no complaints about his pho. Even though the food came out slowly, I could tell that they really took their time to prepare it. The service was also friendly. I'm happy that there's a decent Vietnamese restaurant in Springfield now, not too far from home!

This is on the tippy top of my list for Vietnamese restaurants in NOVA. Huge portion sizes for pho, and the do not skimp on noodles which is a qualm I have with pho places. You order the pho, in the largest size, and they give you a ton of broth, same amount of everything else. This place ups the noodles with the serving size. Would give it 5, but I need to try a few more dishes here before I give them that rank.

No need to drive to Eden Center (and possibly risk being blown up in a gas explosion). This place is legit. We've had the pho, both quail appetizers, shaky beef, many of the vermicelli combos and regularly get the meal for 4 that comes with spring rolls, clay pot pork/fish, mixed veggies with tofu, and the sweet and sour soup with catfish or shrimp. I consider myself a bit of a Vietnamese aficionado and this place is great. The owner is very nice and always has a smile on his face. The staff is super helpful and always patient with my toddler when she decides to make a dash for the kitchen. I will be back again and again!
(4)Mychelle H.
Went here on a whim. I was pleasantly surprised. I may have to come back again soon. I got the banh mi bo kho and tried the bun bo hue as well. The service was quite efficient and all the employees were very polite.
(4)Meek Y.
I'm torn w/this place. Went back last week to order pho and summer rolls "to go". The summer rolls were excellent as was the pho. I'm not sure what to think of this place. Consistency should be a key element of any restaurant.

I usually frequent Saigon Quan because of one dish only, their Baby Clams! This appetizer is amazing! It comes in a rice cracker bowl with shrimp crackers on the side. The baby clams are cooked to perfection and come with limes as well. It's a life changer. I highly recommend this dish and I haven't seen people talk about it much yet so I want to bring this to light. Their Pho is one of the best in the Springfield area as well. The beef stew is very savory and sweet, and the beef is very tender. Another good option are their large dinners. It comes with a lot of popular Vietnamese dishes that would normally be served at a Vietnamese home. It is cooked traditionally and true to flavor. The decor and ambiance is one of the best I've seen in regards to other Vietnamese restaurants in the area.

If you want a high dose of food coma after a meal, Saigon Quan is the place to hit up. I don't know what they put in their food, but I found myself napping for at least an hour or two after eating there. With that said, the food is amazing! I've only had the egg rolls, deep fried chicken wings, the pho, and the bun bo hue here, and I think they all taste wonderful. Expect the bun bo hue to be huge. They only have one size for $8.50 but you will love it. If I don't feel like eating pho, I choose this alternative.
(5)Ung K.
Best pho in the area. Probably in all of Virginia. Friendly staff and amazing food. They have a large menu and while not being able to have tried everything on there, I've tried a good amount and they were all really good but the pho is on point! Don't forget to request the super bowl size of pho when there. It's not on the menu but it can be ordered.
(5)Giancarlo B.
The is a very good Vietnamese Restaurant with pretty bad service. I suggest getting your waiters cell phone number so you can call him if you need something. The shaky beef was excellent, the baby clams and beef clay pot was delicious. I like going here because it is as good as Eden Center but easier to get in and out of.
(4)Alex F.
This is hands-down one of the best Vietnamese restaurants in the area. They have what I would consider "authentic" Vietnamese food, only because it seems really unusual and a totally different offering from other Viet places in the area. Go outside your comfort zone of Pho and get a hot pot or the fried shrimp, it's worth it! I've frequently just asked the server for recommendations and have never been disappointed. Pretty good value for the money, even if it is on the more expensive side. Service is kind of what you would expect at an Asian place, which is definitely a bit less attentive than at other, more American restaurants.

A big thank you to Yelp reviewer Cathy K. who posted a photo of Saigon Quan's (SQ) special clam appetizer (not on the menu) on 5/14/14! I thought it looked fabulous, and, when I walked in the door at SQ last night, they had it posted as a special! Woo hoo, I was able to try it! I didn't even look at the menu as I knew I wanted the clams, and I'd already decided that I wanted to try SQ's crabmeat and asparagus soup, which is offered as a single serving (in most Chinese restaurants, it's only offered for two, making it pretty pricey). I also ordered hot tea, which was OK. I love crabmeat and asparagus soup but have been disappointed in it at many places because it is usually too thin, has just a few wisps of crab, and there is no evidence of asparagus. This soup was excellent - nicely thickened, lots of crab (including some chunks I could actually chew), and a delicious asparagus flavor that permeated the broth (plus a few actual pieces of asparagus). It was garnished with fresh cilantro, which highlighted the flavors. The clams, which looked just like those in Cathy K.'s photo, were in a beautiful presentation of 12 steamed clams on the half-shell drizzled with oil and topped with generous helpings of chopped peanuts and spring onions (an excellent value at $10). As soon as I received the dish, I realized that I could make it an entree by adding a side of white rice, so I called the waiter over and ordered that as well. I ate a couple of the clams as they were served and was a little disappointed because they tasted oily and bland. Then I noticed that the waiter had also brought me a small bowl of sauce (I didn't see it at first). OMG, that sauce was awesome and turned the clams into a heavenly delicacy. The sauce was a homemade ginger fish sauce with shavings of fresh ginger floating on top, and it was the best sauce I've ever had at an Asian restaurant. That, plus a small dot of Sriracha sauce (available at the table), made these clams the best meal I've had in a long time. The clams themselves were chewy and tasty, although a few were extremely chewy, but, hey, that's what you get with clams. I had to ask the waiter for a knife because the clams were still attached to the shell. I used the rice to absorb the oil, onions, and peanuts that had gotten onto the plate, and I poured the sauce and juices from each finished clam onto the rice as well. This rice was almost as good as the clams themselves - very savory. The clams also had fine pieces of French-fried shallots on them, but they were unnoticeable when eating the clams because they got lost in the other flavors. However, when I poured the juices onto the rice, the flavor of these fried shallots really came through and was superb. I'm still thinking about it! The clams and rice were quite filling, so I didn't need to order anything else. The restaurant is nicely decorated with bamboo, a waterfall, and a lot of plants to make it look like an outdoor garden. It reminded me of restaurants I've been to on Oahu. As I went in the evening, SQ had a dark atmosphere punctuated by soft hanging ceiling lights, which added to the ambiance of a garden at night. The background music, a mix of easy listening orchestral and Vietnamese music, was very pleasant. Wow, I hadn't heard Beethoven's "Moonlight Sonata" in ages - it really added to the nighttime garden theme of the restaurant. My waiter was extremely professional and attentive and quickly provided me with all the extra things I asked for. He also checked on me a couple of times and refilled my hot tea without my having to ask. He gave me some good recommendations for vegetarian dishes to try in the future. I had been to SQ about 6 months ago, once for take-out Tai Chin pho (steak and brisket), and once for take-out caramelized chicken in lemongrass and chili. The pho was superb with a fragrant, floral-tasting broth. However, I was surprised that all the components were packaged separately and that I had to put the soup together myself. By the time I found a big enough bowl and did this, the soup had become cold, and I had to microwave it. This didn't detract from the flavor or texture at all - it was just unexpected. It makes sense to package pho this way because it prevents the various ingredients from becoming soggy. The take-out caramelized chicken was not good. The chicken didn't look right, and it had an odd taste that came through even the lemongrass and chili seasonings. It was OK, so I ate it. It wasn't until I reheated the leftovers the next day that I realized that the chicken had gone bad when its spoiled smell filled my kitchen. I decided at that point to avoid SQ. Fast forward to last night - I recently had some awesome pho at Pho Hai Duong that reminded me of the delicious pho I'd had at SQ, so I took a look at the Yelp reviews for SQ. I am so glad that I did because I was totally impressed with my dinner at SQ last night, so much so that I give SQ 5 stars (also based on their pho).
(5)Robert V.
Very good Viet food - had spring rolls, minced clams and beef clay pot. Crispy beef and shaky beef also excellent! Great full service menu. Equal to Eden Center and better than anything in Old Town Alexandria. Go for it today.
(4)Tam B.
Wow....disappointed by this place. I don't know what's up with the high reviews. Pho was just meh and the coffee bubble tea was not good at all. Yes, the portions are big but I couldn't eat even half because it was not the best pho I ever had. I feel my 2 stars is more than generous.
(2)Nancy Z.
Great place! Service was excellent and food was very authentic! Highly recommend....We had pho, banh hoi, and crispy noodle with stir fry. Everything tasted delicious!!!!
(5)Darren N.
One of the better pho spots in Springfield. I've always had decent food and service at this place. $6.95 + tax for a regular bowl of pho. The summer rolls are of typical taste, but they are jam packed with noodles and are pretty filling! They used to have a side of pickled garlic sitting at each table which was delicious, but I don't see them anymore. So now I just order a side of fresh onions and vinegar with my pho ... then I go talk to as many people as I can!
(3)Qui H.
I ordered their small bowl of Hu tieu thom thit. This is normally one of my favorite dishes at eden. I tried it here at Saigon Quan and thought it lacked flavor in their broth. However, the shrimp was cooked well. I rather take a drive to get good pho in Falls Church or Annandale. I will not be returning.
(2)Michelle D.
They have a good number of food options and everything I've had here has been really good. I usually get their pho, banh xeo, or pork chops on rice. I've been to a number of pho places throughout the area and I've found that a lot of the popular ones are not as good as they were a few years ago. This place, though, has been consistently yummy in my opinion. Decent prices for delicious food is a win. Only gripe is that this place could benefit from a new coat of paint and newer booths, but for the most part it is a decent atmosphere.
(5)Julie D.
This is definitely my go to spot when I'm craving Vietnamese food. Food is consistently tasty, from the pho, to the rice and vermicelli dishes, and the banh xeo. I actually prefer their pho over all the other pho places I've tried, including Pho 75, Hai Duong, etc. Also, I've never had any problems with the service and a plus is that you never feel rushed to leave like at other places in Eden Center, etc.
(4)Tim P.
Super Extra Large Bowl of Pho, I defeat you! Awesome pho at a great price. as others have noted, the service was a bit slow, other than that no problems.
(4)RE A.
It was my first time to visit this restaurant and I was very happy to see such a huge, varied menu. I can't wait to try one dish after another. The first two I ordered did not disappoint.

We've been here several times now, happy to have found a pretty solid Viet restaurant closer to home than Eden Center. Sometimes you just don't feel like cooking, you know? That and I haven't quite mastered all of the dishes we enjoy. Thus far we've had soups, rice, bun (vermicelli) and caramel dishes. Here's what we like: Cha Gio - Crispy fried spring rolls are pretty darn good. They're close to our favorites from Viet Crystal, may the restaurant RIP :( Canh Ca Chua - Sour soup with salmon - really really good. I've never had this soup with salmon, but am a big fan. It adds a little more flavor than usual catfish or other white fish. Ca Kho - Caramel fish in clay pot. we got the catfish to go with the Salmon Canh Ca Chua. Yep. Always good. Thit Nuong Banh Hoi - Grilled pork with little vermicelli cakes and fresh veggies. This is *plenty* for two. I ate a generous portion for dinner, and then the rest for the next day's lunch. We haven't particularly enjoyed: Gi Cun - The fillings are pretty weak. Shredded lettuce, no thanks (see photo). Egg noodle soups - The seafood egg noodle soup with various fish and shrimp balls, shrimp and a couple pieces of squid. The broth was meh and needed lots of sate chili oil sauce. Hubs ordered the egg noodle soup with grilled quail and added wontons. Wontons will run you $4.50. And the pork filling wasn't fully cooked upon arrival. I made him shove them to the bottom of the piping hot broth to cook (this was the best option as he wouldn't send it back). Safety first, you know. Better off getting the Chim Cut crispy quail as an app. Large menu and quick service close to home a winner this restaurant makes!
(4)Allan L.
This place needs to work on improving customer service. Asked for a glass of water twice with two different waiters and never got it. There is no way two individuals forgot my request considering it was not even busy at all. PHO was good but will not return.
(1)Mike S.
Pho #1 features generous portions of flank, trip, brisket, and tendon. MMmmm. Everything I've had is good here. Nothing flashy which is exactly how it should be.
(5)Kimberly S.
Saigon Quan is a nice little slice of Vietnam in Springfield. Ambiance: Waterfalls, orchids and greenery make this strip mall restaurant seem bright and cheery. Service: Friendly, attentive, and spoke English well Food: My vermicelli bowl with grilled pork, shrimp and egg roll definitely hit the spot with it's refreshing mix of julienned vegetables and fresh herbs. I would have preferred my nuoc nam cham to be a bit on the stronger side but that's just me being picky. My boyfriend had the pho which was enjoyable but didn't have the same crack-like qualities of our favorite spot Pho Sate. His brother ordered the beef curry with noodles which he seemed to enjoy as well. I didn't get a taste but by looking at it the broth seemed a little bit watered down and there was a TON of fat attached to to the beef. Since I work five minutes away from Eden Center I am spoiled by the abundance of readily available authentic and delicious Vietnamese food near by. However, to my Sprungfield brothers and sisters, Saigon Quan is definitely a welcome addition to the food scene.
(3)Sarina P.
Good pho, excellent bubble shakes (avocado version was outstanding), and quick service. The decor of this strip mall restaurant is very nice--think water features and bamboo. There is ample parking and you can stop in for a fix before you brave the Hechinger Asian store.
(4)Leesa T.
What can I say? The restaurant is great. I went to dinner with 5 friends last night and most pho places are bare bones as far as décor but this restaurant is very nice in comparison. The food was yummy and not overpriced and the service was good as well. We will definitely be back!

I have been meaning to try this place for a while and am glad I finally did! It was a rainy, Monday night (last night) when we stumbled in at about 8 pm. My friend and I wanted to try something different from Saigon City, in Springfield, but didn't want to trek all the way to Eden Center, so off to SQ. As Cynthia K. stated, they have a very extensive menu! I love my pho, but haven't really tried many vietnamese items out of your standard summer rolls, beef soup, etc. The place was pretty empty (it being a slow Monday night and all), with probably only two other tables of people. The decor is more upscale than your typical pho place, and has a very relaxed/zen-like feel. We ordered the ginger clam appetizer to start. It was very tasty, served in a rice shell similar to a taco salad shell. The pork and ginger were minced with garlic, ginger, onion and other spices. I am glad we ordered the appetizer but it was pretty filling. It was definitely worth the $7-10 price range. For our entree, we split the seafood hot pot ($34.95)... and it was ginormous! If I were to come back and order this again with only two people, I would skip the appetizer (be warned that this dish takes time to prepare). The pot came steaming hot with two delicious steaming, ginger based broths (one spicy, one mild) to cook the raw seafood and veggies it came with. Veggies consisted of raw cabbage, box choy, lemon grass, herbs (?), mushrooms, etc. The seafood was plentiful: shrimp, scallops, and generous cuts of white fish... all dunked into your choice of the two sides of this steaming pot. It also came with your choice of rice/egg noodles . We also ordered a side of white rice (which was pretty much left uneaten). Service was friendly, smiley, and unobtrusive. I had my water glass filled 2 plus times. Jasmine tea was also served piping hot. No complaints at all. I am happy to find this place in my 'hood, and will definitely return to try their other menu items!
(4)Mar K.
The pho here is excellent as well as the spring and summer rolls. Great lunch special. The service here is excellent also.
(5)Rick G.
Goi Cuon Summer Rolls, Cha Giio Crispy Spring Rolls, Tea, #'s 10 & 11 Pho bowls are really tasty. And this restaurant is cleaner and more sophisticated than most area noodle shops, a more sophisticated atmosphere, and have a true understanding of customer service in both rapport and presentation - better quality furnishings, accoutrements, dining ware, and serve up cilantro, lime, bean sprouts... extraordinary menu selection... We thought we'd found the Springfield Area's two best Pho places with Saigon City and H Pho... we were wrong! Here's a Pho eatery that can boast quality, taste and ambience. They offer many, many varieties in the two sizes each reasonably priced. Not to mention an equally large selection of other Vietnamese dishes. The staff is helpful, very nice and professional. I think you'll enjoy this comfortable and relaxing little Ph Bistro!
(4)Danny G.
Saigon Quan is my favorite pho spot in nova. I have been coming here for almost 5 years now, and I have yet to have anything short of a fantastic meal. To be honest, I haven't tried a variety of dishes--I can never stray away from the spring rolls (heavenly) and the B10. Keep up the good work, folks! I don't know how I would cure hangovers without your delectable restaurant.
(5)Arzu A.
Great spot outside the usual eden center picks for vietnamese food. It's not just good for pho but other dishes too. Try the crispy noodle with sea food or have a sip of canh muoi (salty lime drink). Definitely some msg in the pho broth but still delish.
(4)Julia N.
The first time I ever came here my mother found a cockroach in her tea. The hard way. It ended up in her mouth, yes. Ever since then we haven't returned. Not necessarily due to the cockroach incident, we just had better places to go to. If you're looking for a quick fix, DON'T go here. The wait for food is quite long or at least longer than your usual wait at a Viet restaurant. Hopefully that just means they're putting more effort into their food. Other than that, I approve of the food so far. The pho is kind of skimpy on meat, especially the large bowl. I ordered the pad thai here which is amusingly disguised with a Viet name for it. "Mi hu tieu xao (tom)". For us Vietnamese folks, that can be misleading. My mother actually thought it would be what it is in Vietnamese. I already knew it was going to be pad thai because of the picture so I went ahead and ordered it. Surprisingly, the pad thai here is really good. In my opinion, it's one of the best I've ever had despite it coming from a Viet restaurant. I even ate it all. That's a shocker now because I never eat all of my food in restaurants. Not bad for a restaurant I've had bad bias towards.
(3)Angela P.
I love this place. It's clean and well taken care of. The manager and employees are always well-groomed and greet us when we walk in. I would compliment the food but all I've really had were their Pho noodles, summer rolls, and crispy spring rolls, which are fantastic! The only reason why I'm giving them 4 stars is because of their service. They come take our order, give us our food when it's ready, and we don't see them again until they give us our check. We always run out of water and have to wave our hands for them to come to our table because we want more stuff. I have worked in the food industry before and I know what it's like to have rude customers so I always make sure the people I am with and myself are very polite and respectful, so we never rush them and make a fuss about it, but I do wish the service was better.
(4)Dan R.
Decent Viet food in a clean restaurant. I came here for lunch at 1:30 pm on a rainy day, and ordered Lunch Special #4 (grilled pork vermicelli bowl with a spring or summer roll). I chose the spring roll, and had hot jasmine tea to drink. Food was tasty and delivered within 10 minutes of ordering. The atmosphere in the restaurant is clean and peaceful (imagine Lionel Ritchie ballads playing in the background, mixed in with some traditional Viet music.). The service was nondescript -- not slow or rude, but not particularly helpful either. I asked for a glass of ice water that never came. Overall I would come back -- next time I'll try the pho.
(3)Jonathan B.
Best Pho in the northern VA area that I've tried. I always get the usual crispy spring rolls and the White Meat Chicken Pho. The chicken is very clean and nicely sliced as opposed to other places. Really great pricing too and they're very fast at getting your order on the table. The Lemon grass chicken is also very good and the portions are very generous.
(5)Sarah B.
Service was very good, food was just so-so. Fried wings were the best. I had a sizzling steak dish that was swimming in a thick syrupy sauce. Very Americanized version of a stir fry which was disappointing. Also, I was expecting some serious spice but it did not deliver. My friend had a soup which was fine, and while the pineapple in it was a pleasant surprise that it was canned pineapple was not. I would give this place one more chance by trying their pho.
(2)Suami Dan Isteri Y.
Food is ok. You should try their sour soup. It only costs $14 but its portion is enough for 2-3 people.
(4)Chitrali S.
Their veggie pho is delicious. It is a good and fair price for all the food and the menu has so many options.
(4)Tristan W.
This place is great! It is in a cool ethnic shopping center in Springfield. The menu is huge but they seem to be good at it all. I got some beef pho and chicken wings while my buddy went vegan. The vegan stuff actually had a place on the menu! We were the only white people! To me that is always a good sign. There was a family near us doing hot pot. They are open till 10 pm which is great... I am a fan. Most legit and affordable Vietnamese food besides Eden Center!
(4)Jon E.
For $9, you can't beat their grilled pork and vermicelli. Huge menu if you're more adventuresome than I. Pho is quite good too. Casual place, not super fancy, but staff is friendly. Pay at the register.
(4)c s.
Pho is pretty standard for what's in the NoVA area. Maybe a little weaker than what's in Eden Center. Nice interior - clean and not overly tacky. Dining companion had the chicken + spring roll vermicelli bowl and reported it was fairly unremarkable. Chicken was flavorful. Noodles in bowl were not vermicelli.
(3)Shar L.
This place is very nice on the inside. Nice waterfalls, clean place. There are a lot of asian specialities on the menu that you may not find at any other Vietnamese restaurant. Not only do they pho, and rice dishes but they do offer clay pot dishes as well. The large Pho is no joke! They definitely give you a lot of meat in your soup and if you're like me and order extra tendon, they do not shy away on that. Overall this place is pretty good. You'll leave here with your stomach tight as a rock.
(4)Chris K.
I stopped by for lunch the other day and was very pleased with my choice. First, I am not a Vietnamese food expert. I tried the chicken Pho and a spring roll. I was thoroughly pleased and felt, especially for the money, it was a great lunch. The Vermicelli was tender and the broth was very flavorful. I will go here again.
(4)Buddha N.
Oh my damn I think I found my new Viet spot outside of Eden Center. This place is official good food and fresh and atmosphere is par to a real sit down spot and not a pho spot. Bowl of Pho is huge and fresh and not greasy at all . Meat is fresh and noodles cooked just right . Summer rolls are real fresh and huge and Yummy . I most come back here and try the rest of the menu, it serves more then just pho, it has a full viet menu in here . This place is a must come to spot No phoking kidding
(3)Omy L.
Pho is OK but i detect msg in the broth's aftertaste. Everything else is passable (fair/good), so plus one star for a menu with enough dishes to suit almost every person in the party.
(2)Angie T.
We decided to try out this pho restaurant because we wanted to try a different place from the usual pho restaurants that we frequent since it's close to where we live. When a restaurant is called "Pho" in the name of their restaurant, you expect it to be a pho restaurant. I have to say they have a huge selection of different Viet dishes. So, maybe that was our first mistake, we decided to order viet dishes instead of pho. Who knows, maybe their pho is better but we don't have that many viet restaurants super close to us so we thought we'd give it a try. For starters, we got the spring rolls. They were bland and the nuoc mam (fish sauce) was pretty salty. Not yum. Fo my meal I orderd the Vietnamese Beef Stew. My favorite viet dish of all time and it was sorely disappointed. I like my stew to be a little thick since I like to eat it with french bread, it was very soupy and had no taste. My boyfriend ordered the rice and quail, which also had no taste. And lastly, the restaurant was not busy and we were ignored for most of our meal. I was waiting for the longest time for the server to come by so I could ask for a to-go container for my bland stew and he refused to stop by our table. Walked by several times, even made a uncomfortable eye contact with me but kept on walking. Finally we just decided to get up and walk directly to the counter pay our bill and get the heck out of dodge!
(2)Tracy D.
The lunch specials are good for the area. We love the summer rolls. I honestly think the pho is just "ok." Can't compare to some other places like Pho 75 off Route 50 or Eden. The staff is nice but we do have to occasionally remind them of our waters or other items we asked for. I enjoy coming here because it's closer to come here than to go out to Eden. This place can definitely satisfy our pho cravings!
(4)Dat N.
Soggy banh xeo, not spicy enough bun bo Hue (charged extra for knuckle) and given chicken pho instead of tai chin... Nothing more to say.
(1)Christina C.
Saigon Quan is by far the best pho in the area and the summer rolls with the peanut sauce and spring rolls are legit! The restaurant is really nice inside too.
(5)Markin N.
EXCELLENT PHO!! I have had pho at many restaurants and I am ecstatic about finding Saigon Quan. The Pho Ga we had was great. Plenty of white meat chicken and an extremely flavorful broth. The large size was a decent $7.95, and it was truly a large. We also ordered summer rolls that were respectable also. But go for the pho!!
