My Favorite place to eat Carne Asada. The beef is real good and fresh as well as the casaba that I ordered. I used to live in south-side and visited the Midlothian location very often Now I go to the one on Broad street and the service and food are as good as the other location. Thanks Chicken Fiesta for making me feel closer to my roots.

This place has crazy delicious chicken, charcoal roasted. Our favorites are the tacos, quesadillas, and fiesta salad (hold the dressing). The parking isn't always ideal and the wait at lunch can be a bit long but we have always been happy with the food. I am a frequent patron (I was the FourSquare mayor for a while). The staff is very friendly and can help you decide what to get. We sometimes have special requests (like no sour cream, extra rice, etc.) and they have got it right every time. We only get chicken so I can't comment on the other meat offerings. Do yourself a favor and get lunch here! Pro-tip: call ahead to order carry-out.
(4)Stacey S.
Can't say anything bad about this place - well, okay the parking lot kind of sucks but once you're inside, all is well! I haven't had a bad meal here - chicken, ribs, tacos, sides - it's all good. Just think inexpensive, well made food served by a very friendly and gracious staff.

Must try.. I travel for a living and this kind of spot is exactly what I look for. Local flair, fresh and interesting.
(5)Thuy V.
Surprisingly good! Very small parking lot and not many tables inside, but very clean and friendly service. The quarter chicken meal was very cheap and just enough to satisfy me. I had the fried yucca which was kind of like a mashed yucca stick (good) and the beans (good but nothing special). The two sauces again were very good but nothing out of this world. They chicken was very tender and tasty. I'd definitely come here again and maybe try a different side, but I was not disappointed in the least. Good food for the right price and seems rather freshly made. Half the people did carry out, half ate in.

Chicken Fiesta is the jam!
(5)Alida H.
Very clean, and amazing customer service. Everyone here is so friendly. The chicken is pretty good, but not the best. I was craving pollo a la brasa and this location definitely satisfied my craving :) The green sauce is good, but the yellow sauce tastes like honey mustard and not like any of the other yellow sauces I've had at other peruvian chicken places. The price was also very reasonable and the fried yuca was the best i've had thus far. Most peruvian chicken places have very dry fried yuca, but not at chicken fiesta. The orange rice seems like it has frozen peas, carrots, and green beans in it, but was still acceptable. I'm giving this place a 4/5 for its service, yuca, and chicken
(4)Shanna A.
The beans were delicious- usually overlooked at most places- they had pico de gallo mixed in, so good! The carne asada was also excellent- great flavor. And I agree that their yuca was perfect. Great find!

First visit to this establishment today (a Sat) and was surprised at the crowd for 3:00pm meal........why did we wait so long to enjoy this!!! After having chicken/ribs combo...Mr. I Can't get Enough wanted more and went back up for Carne Asada!!! Really enjoyed the food..it is quick, clean, and fair priced. Service members were smiling and helpful. Yucca was a great diversion from the expected Tex-Mex menu although every plate coming out seemed good enough for me to order. Room for strollers. Other patrons were there for the same reason we were...to eat!! The only real blemish...as all know...that the parking is very difficult at busy times. Definitely will be added to our list of regular places.

Small, clean, Pan-Latin goodness fused with Peruvian-style pollo a la brasa (charcoal rotisserie chicken). They have some Tex Mex and Salvadorian meals. Great charcoal rotisserie chicken and grilled steak and some of the best fried yucca around. Good portions. Great customer service (bilingual). Lots of Hispanic and white- and black-American patronage. People really love this place! The food is very flavorful! The beans are well-seasoned as are the meats. The chicken has a great crispy skin. Simple, but really really good! Vegetarian options available I have a friend in Charlottesville who dreams of this place at home lol and would never come to Richmond without dropping by. Just a testament to how tasty this place really is! Check out La Sabrosita next door afterwards for a snack later on. 7568 West Broad St location now open
(5)Kim K.
Great Chicken! Make sure you try the chicken sandwich. I would have given it 5 stars except they charge $2 for extra pico de gallo. I wouldn't mind if the serving wasn't so tiny!
(4)Cristy T.
This place is awesome! We were looking for something a little mo upscale and were a little disappointed when we drove up. It appears to be a renovated fast food restaurant. The smell when you walk in is amazing and you immediately start salivating. The menu is diverse and can be typical Mexican or it can be Americanized with ribs or rotisserie chicken. It's loud and busy and serve yourself but the food is worth it! Very reasonably priced as well.
(5)Cat N.
So tasty, quick, and cheap! Love the rotisserie chicken tacos and burritos, yucca fries, and the horchata. I haven't eaten in-house (only take-out), but they quickly prepare takeout orders if you call ahead. Definitely a tasty choice!
(5)Robbin W.
Do it. 4 people in my family, 4 different, discerning tastes. We all love it. One of the best places to eat in Richmond. Soul-warming food!
(5)Seth G.
Overall the food is pretty good though don't trust the chicken in the tacos and the nachos.I didn't try the beef yet so still go with the whole chicken. That's better.Great service.
(3)Blair C.
They expanded! Glory be to rotisserie chicken and ample seating.
(5)Roger Y.
Chicken Fiesta is amazing. One ironic thing about this place is that their beef tacos are almost better than the chicken. An ideal lunch would be 3 tacos, plantains, and an Inca Cola to wash it all down!
(5)Linda C.
I love rotisserie chickens and this place really knows how to cook the chickens! You'll be surprised how moist and juicy it tastes! Also, I love the complimentary sauces for the chickens. I wish there is a Chicken Fiesta in NYC! :)
(5)Butch S.
Great spot for lunch! I really like the grilled chicken taco platter! The grilled chicken is moist and slightly crunchy.
(4)Kasey H.
My tacos were alright for the price, though I'd rather spend a little bit more money and go to Don Pepe. The guacamole was really good, but came in such a small portion! I'll certainly be back to try this place again - the rotisserie chicken looked amazing, and would be an easy dinner!

After several visits to the West End Chicken Fiesta, I finally checked the original location out. The food was just as good as the other Chicken Fiesta and the service was just as friendly. I think I like the West End location better, though. The main reason? Space. This Chicken Fiesta is super popular, but SMALL. I went with a friend and her son for dinner and there was no room for us to eat in, so we had to get it to go and have dinner at home. The West End location isn't huge either, but it seems to have a bit more sitting room. Otherwise, everything here was just as good. Love the rotisserie chicken, fried yucca, beans, plantains, etc. I think that green spicy sauce is spicier (more authentic?) at this location, but I still can't stop combining that and the yellow sauce and dipping stuff in it. It's really like crack. Delish.

Dear Chicken Fiesta, where were you when I went to VCU for 4 years?! Now I can enjoy delicious pollo a la brasa when I visit Richmond! I'll be back for sure! Friendly service, good price. Great salsa music at just the right volume. I wish I had received a little more yucca on my 1/2 chicken meal (which was split by 2 people). Green sauce was hot, but needed something, more flavor? It was Christmas Eve and the employees were all smiles. Feliz Navidad!
(4)Shalonda C.
The best rotisserie chicken I've tasted hands down. This small little spot is one of my favorite local restaurants. Friendly staff & amazing meals. The Fiesta Salad is my favorite, Romain Lettuce, Tortilla Strips, Onions, Honey Mustard Dressing & their famous Rotisserie chicken shredded on top. The prices are reasonable for lunch but this place can get very busy at that time. They have amazing Quesadillas (Steak Q's are my favorite). The fried Yucca is great, comes with their homemade sauce which is very tasty. They have ribs, steak, whole chickens you name it. Also a few simple sandwiches like a Steak & Cheese. They recently expanded so it's easier to dine in.
(4)J Y.
Very good tex-mex style for what you paid for. enchilada is delicious while the sides are flavorful compare to the "mexican chains" we have in town. maybe it's just a different style, but i enjoy their beans more so than other people's as it isn't a 'paste', you can see real beans and other ingredients that flavors it. Fried yucca isn't too bad, while fried plantain was average. the only drawback is that the dinning area can get too crowded, and that the smoke from the grill can be overpowering especially when they're just starting up the charcoal.
(3)Jeff D.
Great food, great service. The staff is courteous and cooperative.
(5)dusty c.
This place rocks. Always immaculately clean, with friendly, earnest staff. Have never had a bad meal from here. I recommend getting the whole or half rotisserie chicken and a few sides of your choice, like the fried plantains or fried yucca. The chicken comes with tortillas and awesome green pepper sauce and a creamy yellow sauce like mayo (which tastes great with yucca fries dipped in it, if you ask me).
(5)Kelly H.
Katy is right...this is a VERY small place....but the chicken is tasty....and i liked the rice. not too much to say....the customer service is good....nice place for a quick lunch!
(3)Brian B.
I was interested to try Chicken Fiesta, a small order-in/take-oout "a la Brasa" place I had heard about from friends (I've just moved back to Richmond), but I had yet to try. I pulled into the small parking lot, and could smell the wonderful food outside while seeing a pretty diverse group of folks (blue collar workers, men in suits, US servicemen, many races) all pouring into the small storefront at lunchtime ... a good sign, I thought. As I stood in a short line waiting to order. I asked the gentleman who was behind me in line what was good ... to which he replied that everything he had had, he liked, he was planning on trying the ribs today, but everything he'd had that was chicken, was great. I got to the counter and ordered the 1/4 white meat chicken with Yucca & rice and a horchata to drink. The chicken was amazing, perfectly cooked tender and juicy and really flavorful. The Yucca was excellent, extremely crispy & lightly salted on the outside, while soft on the inside. The rice was pretty typical "spanish rice" so I'll try another side the next time I go back. The horchata was good ... sweeter than I have been used to, and less cinnamon flavor than I've had in the past ... still good ... but I'll have to ask what's in it the next time I go back. The sauces that came with the meal (one green chile, one a creamy mustardy) were excellent. I alternated between both, but in the end I think I used more mustard than chile. I liked Chicken Fiesta a lot ... it was very inexpensive, and the food was quite good. I will say that it is small ... so it's a place that has to be well-timed. Going at 12:30PM on a work-day could mean that there won't be seats available, so you might have to carry out.

Two thumbs up. Fresh ingredients and great chicken! Steak is delicious as well. Parking sort of sucks, but well worth it! Definitely get the fried yucca!

Went by today for the first time. Great chicken, and the fried yucca was good too. The green sauce on the side definitely adds some kick!!! It is a small place, not a lot of tables and it gets pretty busy so try to get there early if you're for lunch. They open at 10:30 (close at 10pm) so you can definitely beat the crowds. The menu is simple and straightforward. My friend and I had the steak tacos and the rotisserie chicken. Everything was great. My friend said it felt like he was back in South America eating. We were greeted immediately, everyone was friendly and the inside was clean and in good shape even it was small. The prices were great for me. I got 1/4 chicken with 2 sides (plenty of fries and 3 fried yucca sticks) with a drink for under $7 Chicken was seasoned great and was nice and juicy, everything was very tasty. *BUT* the best thing there was actually the iced tea. Sounds crazy but it was just the right sweetness and had a bit of a lime kick. Very good. After I got my friend to try the tea he said that alone was worth the trip I would definitely recommend this place, but don't go in expecting anything fancy or anything. Go in expected simple food cooked well and you won't be disappointed. *Update* They have expanded into the space nextdoor and it is now much roomier. I'm not sure of the exact number of people I've introduced to this place, but it has to be in the 15-20 range. And every single one of them has gone back multiple times since then and taken other people. Really great. Still friendly, still great food. During some visit they even came out to give me and my friends a Chicken Fiesta pen. They must of known how much business I've pushed their way. Keep on making the great food and the people will keep coming.

I've have been driving by this place since they opened several times a week and was always reluctant to try it. After reading the great reviews on here I finally gave in and took the delicious poultry plunge!! I am SO glad I did. My mom and had worked up an appetite for a little something after working hard at sitting in a dark movie theater for the last 2 1/2 hours so we stopped in. it was around 8:15 pm on a Wednesday night (not exactly dinner rush hour) and the parking lot was packed!! We opted for the half chicken with rice and beans and side of fried yucca. BOY OH BOY!!!!!! I believe an earlier review compared the yellow dipping sauce to crack? Well somebody hand me a torch!! We cleaned our plate (except for a few small chicken morsels for our fur-faces)and ordered another to-go with a side of yucca and EXTER yeller sauce palease mam! We tipped the girl at the counter (as you always should when ordering to-go food) and she had thrown in several extra portions of said 'yellow-crack". Service was very friendly. Upon returning home my boyfriend devoured the entire plate faster than a hobo on a ham sandwich!! So fast in fact that he left behind all but 1 containers of the yellow magic which I quickly stored in the "fridg-idare" for later consumption. BRAVO CHICKEN FIESTA!!

I got hooked on "Peruvian" chicken after trying it the first time while working in the Pentagon. CF is absolutely spectacular. The chicken is so flavorful and perfectly done it almost falls off the bone. Their Yucca fries, beans and rice are phenomenol. You can always tell how good an ethnic restaurant is if the natives eat there!
(5)Jacob K.
This place is a remarkable find. It's small, clean, and quick, with a view straight into the enormous grilling engine that forms the heart of the place. While nominally a rotisserie, it resembles nothing so much as the great ender of avians, with its charcoal-filled maw appeased only by the flesh of fowl. Which, by the time you leave, you'll have a definite empathy for. The chicken is superb, the vegetarian beans are flavorful and the rice has actual saffron somewhere in the spices blended for it. On the other hand, it's really small and very much a hole in the wall. Don't bring your hopefully hypothetical Saralynn Booker-Robins here for a first date.
(4)Esther K.
This place is really good if you like oven roasted chicken. get the fried yucca. it's pretty chill. you can eat in or take it to go, i suggest if you have a big group you take it to go because there aren't many seats in this place. love the free jalapenos too!
(4)Shelly H.
Wasn't really what I expected but I would go back. Kinda fast food mexican style but not like the taco villas of the world. Ppl that worked there were really sweet and attentive, food was quick and good. For a quick tex-mex experience, this would be my go to place.
(4)Jorge V.
Awwsome and delicious...please open one in north carolina..NOW!!!
(5)Lee H.
Great for lunch. Not your typical mexican place. I have used the to cater two parties. The fajitas are great !
(4)Marie L.
You need to try this gem on Midlothian Turnpike. First of all, as soon as you open your car door the air you are wowed by how good the food smells - and you haven't even walked inside yet! Step inside and you will see a rotisserie oven cooking a number of chickens at once - great showstopping piece right when you enter. Then the best part - $5.50 for a plate of 1/4 white or dark meat (your choice - white meat is not extra here!!) and your choice of 2 sides (I always get their rice and beans, but you can also pick the fried yucca or fried potatoes). One of the best deals in this region. Pair it with a Mandarin Jarritos (Mexican soda) and it really becomes a perfect meal. The skin on the rotisserie is flavored exceptionally, with a slight crust of spices that forms in a perfect way to complement the juicy chicken. Squeeze lime juice on it (they have a container of cut up lime wedges as well as a container of jalapeno slices set out to take as many as you want) and wow.

Some things are so simple! Yet when done perfectly well, the results are eating bliss. Case in point the pollo a la brasa - charcoal roasted chicken Peruvian style - at Chicken Fiesta. Lusciously moist and served with fabulous beans and rice, the chicken here is addictively good, especially with the very spicy green sauce (but also with the aioli-style mayonnaise sauce). The service is very friendly and efficient and manager Harold will make you feel as if you are visiting a relative's home (albeit a relative that can really cook chicken). He also wants to convince everyone that fried yucca is so much better than French fries (and judging from his free samples, he is certainly right). The flan is fabulous, resplendent in its jiggly lusciousness. Drink a mango agua fresca or a glass of horchata (a Mexican drink made with almonds, rice, cinnamon, sugar and lime). In a nod to Southern preferences, there are also fine ribs but the glory of Chicken Fiesta is what the name promises: great chicken.

Having lived in Florida I was skeptical but excited about trying a Latin rotisserie here in VA but I'm glad I did. Chicken Fiesta does a great job though. I had the Half Roasted Chicken and ate every possible morsel of meat off this bad boy. The skin was the best part, and I wish I could order just that. The Yucca Fries are awesome. I wish the portion was just a little bigger, even 1 fry bigger would have been perfect, but either way it was great. For my other side I chose the Tortillas thinking that would be the best way to eat this but I was wrong. They were dry, and since there isn't much else other than the Salsa Verde and Mayo sauce it really didn't balance well. I also tried the Chicken Soup. This was good. Not the best I've had, but the fresh cilantro really made me want to finish the whole thing. I definitely recommend this place, and I'm looking forward to trying more. While you are at it though stop by the bakery next door. They are really nice and have really good pastries if you catch them fresh.
(4)Ryan C.
I think I may have found my favorite spot to eat mexican food. Everything about Chicken Fiesta is delicious. The chicken is so flavorful and juicy, you can't help yourself for wanting more after you've finished. And those sides! Beans with pico de gallo and wild rice PLUS the fried yucca. It's freakin' perfection! Everything tastes very homemade and seasoned very well. If you're on a date and a budget, order the number 4. That'll be enough food for the both of you and then some. Move over Guapo's, this is real tex-mex!
(5)Lisa H.
Yuca was hands down the most delicious i've had at any pollo restaurant ever. Just the right amount of crisp, but not too oily. YUM! Chicken was tasty, but there was no distinct taste. Pretty generous with their sides. Considering the price (cheap!) and great customer service (friendly!), i'd go back for seconds. :)
(4)Dara S.
I've been coming here since it opened and Loved it since then. The rotisserie chicken is more than delicious and definitely my favorite. I have cravings for it now and then. But, they also have my favorite chimichangas, which are hands down, the best in town. The shell is not what you get from a typical Mexican restaurant., so . ask for them to make it crispy when you order. And yes, I crave this also. The owner and the staff are very friendly. Want your food to go? It takes like 5mins. They're so fast they should have a drive-thru.
(5)J S.
Yes, the Best chicken I've ever eaten. I love the grilled chicken tacos try them yourself they will blow you away!!
(5)Julie W.
This place rocks - wonderful rotisserie chicken, delicious carne asada, pleasant staff, fast meal prep and it is the cleanest cozy restaurant I think I've ever seen. The ground beef was "eh" the one time I tried it (back when they first opened) so I stick to the yummy chicken and carne asada. The salads are great, the nacho platter is huge as are the burritos. Fresh cut lime is available for drinks and food. Prices are good. My only beef (heh) with Chicken Fiesta is that they are quite raw-onion-heavy on pretty much everything, including the guacamole. Also I wish they had cheese sauce.
(4)Kellijo L.
The rotisserie chicken is the best in town. Just the scent of the roasted chicken sends my mouth into overdrive. It's juicy and very well seasoned, reminds me of Peru. The green and cream sauces served with it, never seems to be enough. I love mixing the two together and eating it with the chicken and yucca. The side of beans were just ok add some of the beans were still firm, but over all one of the best meals all week.
(4)Phillip S.
The smell of the charcoal rotisserie hits you in the parking lot. Before we'd even walked through the door, we were hooked. My wife had a chicken burrito and I had a platter with ribs and a quarter chicken, served with two sides -- I had tortillas and fried yucca. The chicken burrito was good, though my wife requested sour cream in it, but none was given. She said that as stuffed burritos go, she had had better from Chipotle, but in a one-on-one contest, the chicken here was superior in every way. My ribs were a bit overcooked, but the BBQ sauce offered a perfect blend of tangy and sweet, all the while letting the smoky, charcoal flavor of the oven come through. The chicken was quite the opposite. It was lovingly cooked and could nearly be shaken off the bone, so tender and juicy was it. The skin had absorbed much of the flavor of the oven, which was good because the chicken was otherwise unseasoned. The fried yucca was tasty, though the batter was a bit thick for my liking. I'm not taking off any points for that because I know that many people prefer that. Each of our meals came with two different sauces. A fresh salsa verde (my wife's favorite) was surprisingly spicy. That's not to say that it was too hot, only that it had a little bit of a kick when we weren't expecting it. It was quite nice. The second sauce was mustard based, but I couldn't identify it. It was a bit like honey mustard, but with some added flavors -- peppers, perhaps. My favorite part of the meal, however, was a mango drink of some sort. The cashier could not tell me much about what was in it, aside from mango, but she happily offered me a free sample to decide if I wanted to try it. It's heavenly. It had not been over-sweetened as some people tend to do with mango. Instead, it tasted like not much more than mango and coconut milk. It was wonderful, but at $2.10 per cup, I'm not sure it's worth refills. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the food, and we left with very full stomachs. Portion sizes were generous, but not impossible to finish. The restaurant itself was clean and bright with plenty of natural light. The staff were friendly, though at lunch time, it was busy and they were running a bit behind. Our order came out in just about five minutes, but our friends who ordered just before us had to wait ten minutes more before their food was ready. Still, a fifteen minute wait for freshly prepared food is not too long to wait. The parking lot is small. We found out after we left that additional parking is available behind the building, but it is difficult to see when pulling into the lot. I would advise against driving a larger vehicle (over-sized pick-ups or SUVs) here as there is precious little room to maneuver.

Driving around i've spotted the big sign that says Chicken Fiesta, so i decided to try it out and boy i am sooooo glad i did! Once you step in the smell of great roasted chicken hits and you feel the need to eat it right away! I think this is the best, tastier, most flavorous rotisserie chicken i ever had! Start with the skin which is awesome, work your way thru the meat and finish chewing the bones! The sides are great as well, specially the fried yucca, which is cooked to perfection. Cheap, casual and always fresh. This is the right place to go in you are in a hurry (take it to go) and very hungry!
(4)Donna Y.
I have to agree with the other reviews.... the fried yuca is awesome and the chicken juicy. The parking is pretty bad so try to get here before the lunch rush.
(4)Jessica L.
Not too shabby at all. Loved the plantains and yucca, but I've had better chicken. I was with a couple friends and tried the nachos as well, but thought they were just average. There aren't many Peruvian chicken places around Richmond, so this does the job!
(3)Kathleen B.
One of my friends told me about the place so I decided to try it out... and I'm so glad I did! I walked in during lunch hour and the line was almost out the door. I was unfamiliar with how to go order my food. I thought someone was going to walk up to my table and asked what I'd like to drink and order but I realized I had to wait in line with the rest and order my food that way and then sit down to eat. I think that may be the only thing I really didn't like and the fact that there weren't enough seats and tables since it was so packed. Also, there's not a lot of parking! Other than that, the food was amazing. Cheap price, great food! Behind the cash register, there's a whole area of rotisserie chicken being cooked in front of you - so it's definitely fresh!
(3)Ashley G.
Yelpers, you do not fail. ZOMG. My Husband and I both had the 3 soft shell taco plates, (for a taco plate they do not include enough sour cream or lettuce), and they put enough meat in them that you're better off getting 2 tacos and just purchase an extra tortilla for the extra meat that falls out. The rice is plain old rice and the yucca fries are a yummy addition to the taco plate. We've been back 3 times within a week and a half period. There wasn't nearly enough of that amazing yellow sauce I ate enough of it that I don't think my husband got any. All in all I think I've Found my new favorite taco joint!!
(5)Rob M.
Wow, this place is just consistently fantastic. Simply cooked rotisserie chicken over an open charcoal fire, super flavorful and juicy every single time. The yucca fries and beans are a must for your sides, trust me! Also, this place has the best deal going- a full chicken dinner with two sides is about $14. Half chicken is $8, but get the whole chicken and use the leftovers for sandwiches and chicken salad the next day. Can't rate this place highly enough!!
(5)Aluanna F.
Perfect every time!! We get the steak taco platter which has 3 steak tacos, beans, fried rice, guacamole, sour cream and a side of small salad. Omg it's the bomb! You crave it. They are always consistent and the portions are huge! This is one of the best Mexican restaurants in town, hands down!
(5)Regina H.
How do I begin So excited. The parking lot was filled with cars. Good sign. We were greeted right away by a cheerful and welcoming cashier. She gave us a breakdown of choices. So many great choices. it took us a few minutes to decide what we were going to try. Our table had a steak and cheese sub, chicken burritos, enchiladas, reds beans, rice and unlimited drinks. We also enjoyed steak and chicken wrps and 3 milk cake for dessert. We ate so much more thn we planned because everything smelled great and was presented so well/ I may need to recuperate tomorrow but what a way to enjoy the afternoon. Try this wonderful place. The menu has wonderful choices and enough variety to please the pickiest eaters Service outtanding. Cleanliness was amazing. The food is so good you will eat too much. Just YUMMY!
(5)Kris B.
Sad to say after enjoying a few meals here, I was very disappointed(as was my husband) at our last visit! The steak in the nachos and tacos on prior occasions was tender and tasty, not this time! Steak was grisly and tough! We really wanted to continue to come back, but it will take a while to forget this experience.
(2)Justin C.
Definitely the best rotisserie chicken you will find in the Richmond area. The sides are just as good. The rice, beans and yucca are always good and that doesn't compare to the yellow sauce you get with the chicken. My wife always asks for extras. We have always wanted to try other items on the menu because we hear everything is delicious but it's so hard to not get the chicken. Service is always friendly and the food comes out really quick.
(5)Marjorie K.
I am not a huge fan, I couldn't eat it everyday, but when I do have a craving for it I will stop by. I work with some clients that are down the street from the location so we will occasionally go here for lunch. They would get a higher rating, but the quarters are a little tight especially around lunch time when it gets packed. It makes getting a soda very awkward, you have to squeeze and fight your way into this little cubby packed with then other people trying to get soda. With the way it is set up they should really consider putting the drinks behind the counter and filling your cup for you, or just switch to bottled drinks. I always get the three tacos carbon with rice and beans. It seems to hit the spot. I like the salsas they serve with it as well.
(3)Shawn M.
There isn't much to say except this place is so delicious. I've had just about everything on the menu and have not had a single bad visit or undesirable item.
(5)Gromel B.
I like the ribs they are cooked properly and they taste wonderful I also love the chicken and of course the coleslaw and the flan. The customer service is outstanding in the restaurant is very clean and is a good place to take family. The only bad thing is the parking because a lot is very small and you have to come into it from one direction. Overall I would recommend this place for dinner or just for a family night out

This particular location has a very small parking lot in front, but there is more parking behind the restaurant. Not too many items on the menu, but quality over quantity! It's a very fast casual kind of place with some indoor seating, but counter service only. I liked watching all the rotisserie chickens roasting in the oven. =) I ordered the 1/4 chicken with yuca, plus a bowl of soup. The chicken was flavorful, soup was excellent, and yuca crispy and delicious. Unfortunately, the chicken had cooled down significantly by the time I got around to eating it (I like my soups piping hot, and chose to drink the soup first). I also tried tres leches cake for dessert, which was very milky and not bad. My dining companion ordered the fried ice cream, which was actually a ball of ice cream dipped in cinnamon sugar, then placed in a fried tortilla bowl. Overall, nothing mind-blowing, but good, quick food.

Fantastic wood charcoal grilled chicken, they grill 40 at a time! Pinto beans are also to die for, very friendly staff, cannot wait to return!

I went here with a co-worker who swore by the place. I have always seen these as I drove but the outside doesn't have anything special and truthfully, doesn't really have a good food kind vibe. Boy, was I wrong. Hadn't anyone taught me to never judge by what is visible? Before I even went inside, the moment I stepped out of the vehicle, the aroma of good grilling hit my face. What a blow. Then, I went inside. A real brick oven, with racks of juicy crisp chicken cooking on an open flame. Even from the counter I could tell that that chicken would be phenomenal. I took a look at their menu and they had chicken and steak. I couldn't pick so I got a platter with both chicken and steak. I chose the Yucca as my side, along with the rice. The rice was nothing huge, but that Yucca was just melting in my mouth. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Perfection. The steak was tough, I will say. Too well done. I was almost sawing with my plastic knife. I do have to say though that the steak was very nicely seasoned and actually grilled. Here we go. The chicken. The skin was juicy, but almost crispy, with the perfect perfect perfect amount of seasoning. The meat, fall off the bone. I used my fork and no knife. So tender, melting in my mouth juicy. Oh. So good. The prices are a little high, but for the authenticity you get, I'd pay this over going to Plaza Azteca or Don Pepe's. I debated 3 vs 4 stars, especially because of the steak, but for that kinda chicken on an open flame in a real brick oven, I'll give it a 4. I'll definitely try back here!

Food is always delicious, service is fast and the prices are decent. I love getting lunch there but I usually carry out because it does get packed during that time but it's expected considering the quality of the food the only down fall is the tight parking but it's definitely worth it.
(4)Gordon W.
This is the only Latin food you will ever need in your life. Huge portions for a very reasonable price. The flavors are hard to describe except to say if magic and heaven were to have a child it would taste like their burrito platter. The chicken, as you would expect based on their name, is the go to meat. Beans and rice are completely authentic. The only had thing I can say is that they are always busy, but that is understandable. It really is a fiesta, in your mouth hole.

I eat lunch here frequently during the work week. Do not let the parking lot or location deter you. The crowd inside speaks for itself. This is an office favorite and a favorite of my boyfriend if he is working on this side of town. I have ordered many things from the menu including the taco salad, chicken tacos, carne asada tacos, and the nachos. The only thing that didn't floor me was the nachos. I probably won't order those again. My boyfriend and co-workers frequently order the chicken sandwich as well as the steak burritos. The yucca is delicious and the fires are good too. If the aroma of the fresh chicken roasting over an open fire doesn't wow you, the flavors surely will. The service is very friendly and very prompt. All ingredients are extremely fresh, and the portions are appropriate and sometimes generous for the price. I can not say enough good things about Chicken Fiesta to family and friends. One day, I plan to bring a roasted chicken home for dinner. You can order 1/4, 1/2, and whole chickens to go.
(5)Alyx F.
Such a surprisingly delicious AND healthy option! The chicken is absolutely delicious - I usually split a half chicken with a friend since the portion is very large. Chicken is flavorful and moist and comes out super fast. Highly recommend that you check it out!
(5)Billie E.
Wow! I kept hearing about this little joint and finally got to go. The parking lot is the pits and it is difficult to get in and out of the postage sized lot. Make sure you are driving west on Midlo to ease the pain. You might have to park in the Wendy's lot. This really is a minor inconvenience because once inside this unpretentious dining room, you won't be disappointed. My guy and I were greeted with bright smiles and offered a menu when we walked in. They offer full sized dinners, sandwiches, lighter fare...Mexican. Chicken, steak, beef. He ordered 1/4 roasted chicken with yucca. I had a chicken and cheese quasidilla...OMG. First, I wish I could spell that stuff folded into a flour tortilla, but you know what I mean, right? PARTY IN MY MOUTH!!! His chicken was as tasty as mine and we'd never had yucca before and I'd go back again just for that. In fact, I think I'll go back tomorrow. A MUST!!!!
(5)David P.
One of my favorite places! Rotisserie chicken is awesome and the yucca fries with the green and yellow sauces are unbeatable! The pinto beans are definitely noteworthy too!
(5)J W.
I love this place the food is great the 2 sauces are great and the service is always friendly . When I'm in the mood for Mexican I think of Chicken Fiesta
(4)Shawn H.
Love the food here. I got the half chicken with rice and yucca fries. All of it was perfect. I got the order to go and got in just a few min. The only mistake I made was that I took a bite before I left the parking lot. Let's just say the food did not make it to the street lol. I will be going back a lot more.
(5)Victoria B.
So glad I finally tried this place and kinda upset it took me this long! Sooo good! I'm the kind of person who when in tropical places prefers to eat street meat over anything!!! As soon as I pulled up in my car the smell of the chicken roasting brought me back to Puerto Rico, Honduras, Punta Cana, Mexico and all other Latin places I've been fortunate enough to go to and experience the street food. And the chicken lived up to the smell. So juicy and tasty. I got the chicken steak combo bc I couldn't decide and it was a good choice my two sides were rice and beans and yum yum yum. I highly recommend all latins cooking give this place authenticity and great vibes. It was very clean and the staff was all very friendly. This place is authentic and delicious.

When you first walk in, your attention is immediately drawn to the huge rotisserie behind the main counter. Tons of whole chicken spinning around over coal. It smells great in here. Their options seem fairly large. Mixture of ribs, steak, chicken, tacos, enchiladas and more. From reading the other reviews it seems that the meats used in their tacos and enchiladas are more tough than they should be, but we had no such experience when we came here for our first visit. I went with their 1/2 rotisserie chicken combo which came with yucca, beans, rice, and a salad. Add a drink and it was 9 bucks. You can't beat that in price. But on the real, this chicken was hands down the best rotisserie chicken I have -ever- had. EVER. The skin was absolutely flavorful, hiding the juicy morsels of meat underneath. It had so much flavor, and was just down right divine, honestly. By the time I had obliterated all of the rice, beans and the majority of the chicken, I was hunting for any tiny bits of meat I had left on the chicken itself. I will definitely be coming here again. Go with the chicken options, I promise you'll be pleased.

After hearing rave reviews about Chicken Fiesta, I just had to try it out. Living most of my life in Florida, I have very high standards for Latin food. I have to say the service was great and the place looked really clean. I stopped by and ordered the quarter chicken, rice and yucca. First of all my rice was pretty bland. The Yucca was ok and the chicken was dry. I also brought home a slice of tres leches cake which was just pedestrian. Not bad for a quick lunch to go.
(3)Peter H.
As I pulled into the parking lot, I could smell the wood fired chicken. Walking inside, it's a little overwhelming for a first timer. The ordering chaos at the counter was not bad, but is an experience. Not knowing where the menu was, other regulars in line were quick to guide this newbie and make recommendations based on their likes. I wish the location was bigger to offer more seating for those choosing to dine in.
(4)Tony H.
This has become the busiest place I know. The food is sooo good you'll being taking a number soon, thats my guess anyway. This chicken is absolutely delicious. Treat yourself to the best chicken in Richmond. I really don't have the words to tell you how good the Chicken is. I've 1/3 of the times ive eaten or bought a " to go " order.
(5)anne marie j.
No wonder there is a line out the door during lunch! The roasted chicken is incredible. Hubs had a flat iron steak. I'm not a huge fan of cuts of cow and the thought of a fast food version isn't all that appealing, however, I would actually order it for myself next time. It was juicy and flavorful. I had rice and beans while the hubs had salad (he's carbaphobic). The best part of the meal was the little tub of yellowish goodness heaven with a lid. I don't know what's its called but they certainly don't give you enough. There was a South American place in Texas that had the same type of fare with the same sauce that I absolutely loved. I've been craving it for years since it had closed. Whatever that sauce is, get as much as you can! The place is tiny. So as soon as you order, stake out seating. Also, the cashiers have no patience so figure out what you want before you walk up. Nevermind, just get the steak and chicken combo with rice and beans, a soda, a side of yucca fries, and extra, extra sauce.
(4)Mikey W.
I've eaten at this location probably 50 times. The yuca fries and the grilled chicken tacos are both A++. The rotisserie chicken is ridiculously moist, tender and full of flavor.Once in a while, the grilled steak tacos are a little tough and stringy, but that's about the only negative I can come up with on the food. The parking lot sucks at this location, and seating is limited at peak lunch time. But the food..... just unbelievable.
(5)Tabitha P.
Watching the rotisserie chicken rotate over an open flame gets my mouth watering every time. Chicken is amazing, Yucca is crispy and really delicious with the yellow sauce. They have real fried ice cream, and beans are good too. The place is clean, they are constantly wiping tables and floors. Affordable and amazing value!
(5)Brian C.
Great food great atomesphere great price Definitely visit!!!! Greatest chicken that ever touched a plate

Based on the reviews, I finally decided to try Chicken Fiesta. I pass this place often but never was attracted to the very small parking lot and restaurant space. When I went in, it was quite a busy evening. Folks stood around the counter waiting for their order and others sat eating. The cashier asked us to step back so that she could climb on the counter to get ice from the drink machine. Wow! Though it was crowded, I must say that the aroma was amazing. I couldn't wait to eat the rotisserie chicken and yucca that others rave about. Well I tasted the yucca before I arrived home and felt it was missing something. I've had better and less greasy. The yellow sauce that comes with it is not to my liking. Perhaps a sweet sauce would work better. For the moment I had been awaiting.... the rotisserie chicken! The skin was full of flavor, smoky, seasoned, and peppery. Then downhill for the meat itself unfortunately. It was disappointingly dry and hard to eat without needing water to chase it down. Had it been moist and flavorful on the inside as it was outside, I'd return at least for that. However, I've satisfied my curiosity and don't pIan to return at least for now. Bottom line... Not great, not horrible. Just okay. By the way, they don't sell queso!! I was craving chips and queso blanco and just knew that I could get it with my chicken and yucca. Not! The cashier said they only use shredded cheese. Interesting.

Delicious Delicious Delicious. I'd end the review there if I wasn't sitting here with 5 mins to kill. This place brought me back to a Spanish bbq I ate at every payday when I was a kid back home in Jersey. The grilled chicken is fall off the bone juicy, dry seasoned to perfection and served in great portions for reasonable prices. The fried Yucca is delicious and even though I avoid fried food as much as possible it's a must when I eat here. Also the sauces that came with it tasted home made and delicious. I can't comment on the ambience or physical location at all because a friend picked the food up for me because I was obligated to a dinner at Maggione's in Short Pump Mall...but that's a disappointment for another review. So yea Chicken Fiesta is THE MOVE if you're in Richmond, you love great tasting not so healthy Spanish bbq, and low prices. I intend to go back every time I set foot in Richmond.
(4)Stewart V.
I have eaten here several times over the past six years. Chicken Fiesta has the best Peruvian chicken in Richmond hands down. No other restaurant comes close. Eat the whole chicken with the family with green hot and yellow sauce. The fried yucca, tres leches cake, are delicious. I also really like the homebrewed iced tea, not the nestea..
(5)Kaartik M.
Solid grilled taco and enchilada platters. Meat was cooked really well. I wasn't a biggest fan of the rice and beans added on. They tasted more like Indian style kidney beans and black beans would have gone better. The smell of the giant rotisserie catches your attention as soon as you walk in. Overall this is a great place for a fair priced mexican meal.
(5)Tara B.
Stopped here on our way out of town with 11 of my family members. Everyone was happy with what they ordered. There were too many of us for me to remember what everyone ordered but of course the chicken was the crowd favorite. We will be in town annually for skins training camp and the group has already decided to add this spot to our top 5 favorites in Richmond. Friendly personnel, fast service and delicious food. Thx to the great reviews on yelp we have another family favorite.

Got 3 crispy tacos, one beef, two chix. To go, I work 3 stoplights down from this place. Im surprised That I found the chicken so bland because it smells so awesome in there. Beef has a funny seasoning that I am not used to and do not like it. Very disappppointed that their meat is kept too moist (didnt know there was such a thing) because in the three mins from their place to mine liquified my crispy tacos, they were a mushy mess that fell apart. Very little sourcream on side (not in a container which contributed to the mushy mess) The shells were "raw" as in not heated before serving so the very top edge that was not mushy was chewy not crispy. Other food might be very good as long as you can get sauces to give your food some taste.
(1)Brian B.
I loooooooove Chicken Fiesta. Get the grilled chicken taco platter. They are a little pricey (almost $10 for the dish mentioned above) but everything is oh so good. Staff is always friendly too.
(5)Navia G.
I think the idea of having rotisserie chicken for dinner is just about as boring as it gets, so when my fiance said he was bringing home Chicken Fiesta for dinner, I was only excited about the fact that I didn't have to cook. To my surprise, he brought home two steak burritos. And an empty paper bag since he ate all the yucca fries on the way home... I guess they were good. Anyway, the burritos were the best ones I've ever had anywhere! Really. Even better than Chipotle! A bit smaller, but still just as filling. It was amazingggg. They use ribeye steak! And it's served with this super spicy green sauce on the side that, when used sparingly, is just the perfect accompaniment. I kind of want one right now. We had ours to go, but inside is a very comfortable, no-frills, and no wait-service dining area that's always clean and would make for a comfortable meal inside.

We've driven by this place hundreds of times and I would have never thought to go except my husband said he'd heard good things. Upon walking in we were instantly greeted. We must have looked new because we were quickly asked if this was our first time. Yes! The friendly counter girl have us menus, showed us the rotisserie chicken roasting and gave us a free sample of yucca with dipping sauce! I saw a chicken sandwich that had just come up and decided that looked perfect. It was! My husband got enchiladas, he loved them, the hot sauce was great! The boy who was cleaning tables came over and asked if we needed anything, sauces more drink... very friendly!!! When I got a take out box the counter girls asked how everything was. Great experience, no complaints! I'm a hard core coke (a cola) person and even their Pepsi tasted great!
(5)Benet M.
Love this place!!! Always clean, always polite, and the best, slow cooked to perfection, chicken in town:)
(5)Brian K.
Just the smell of the grill from the outside is reason enough to give the place five stars. I've been here tons of times and tried several dishes, and always excellent!
(5)Food Guru H.
I came here because I could smell the chicken from the road and it was potent. The parking lot is super small is it always packed. I ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken and it comes with either rice, beans, yucca (delicious) and a salad for $9.75 plus tax. I got the half chicken with yucca and added a side if rice which was an extra $1.75. The half chicken was not big. It was like they cut the chicken in half and then cut the half in half. I also got the yucca which came in s small Brown bag. Mine only had 6 pieces. I don't know if that's the normal amount they give you but it definitely was not filling and the amount of rice they have me for the chicken was not enough. I had to eat it sparingly. The only reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 3 is because the food was good and the staff was nice
(4)David C.
Amazing place. While visiting on business I went two days in a row for lunch. Will return next time I am there. The rotisserie chicken was delicious. Great rice and beans and dressing and salad and fries. Reasonable prices. All the food on people's plates looked great. This is a must visit place. Staff were nice and friendly too. Busy at lunch.....great sign.

First time coming here. Had to park on the side of Wendy's because the parking lot was too packed. I walked in and just smelled that distinct yet incredibly amazing smell of rotisserie chicken all over the restaurant. You could tell that the behind the counter was really busy but she still showed me a lot of respect and was very friendly. I bought the 1/2 chicken combo and the grilled salmon. The salad I received with it was pretty scanty and I wasn't much of a fan for the beans. The rice was cooked well and tasted pretty standard. But the higher rating mainly comes from the chicken. Now I bought the 1/2 chicken thinking that it was gonna be a bit like some of the other places I have been who have a similar type of dish. But I must say, their chicken was not only huge but it was LITERALLY cooked to perfection. The grilled salmon was also very good. Grilled not too much and the veggies were very tasty. Overall, this is the spot around here if u like good chicken.
(4)Princess B.
Oh Chicken Fiesta. I had such hopes for you. I moved recently to Richmond from just outside of DC, where the Peruvian chicken is excellent. I have been looking for a replacement spot to feed my chicken needs. While this is definitely peruvian chicken, it is very underwhelming. The chicken isn't bad. But the sides are so meh. And tiny. 4 pieces of overcooked soggy yucca? Seriously? Is this even Peruvian chicken? More like gross french fries then the heavenly crispy on the outside, starchy and fibrous on the inside addictive goodness I'm used to. The beans and rice were okay, but the portions were unacceptably small. The cole slaw was wholeheartedly meh Will I come back? Once or twice. But will it be a twice weekly ritual as it once was? Not a chance.
(2)Ryan W.
Chicken , yucca , rice and beans are always on point. Very reasonably priced. As soon as i walked in I felt like Gus from Breaking Bad was going to greet me .
(5)Vance S.
Very good Tex Mex Food, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I go here when I am in the Richmond area.
(5)Dana B.
This rotisserie chicken is addictive. The beans and corn tortillas and sauces make a perfect taco.
(5)Timmy T.
I hate to write an "Ok" review for Chicken Fiesta b/c my first experience was so amazingly wonderful, but I gotta speak the truth. Came here for lunch with some of my coworkers. Parking can be a hassle b/c parking lot is very small and it was also extremely crowded in their around lunch time. I got the Beef/Cheese Enchilada which came with rice/beans/salad/sour cream. Unfortunately, the only thing I really enjoyed was the sour cream...It actually tasted like sour cream! The beef and cheese enchilada didn't really have a flavor profile to it; cheese was kinda bland and the beef was under seasoned. Rice was cooked perfectly but also under seasoned. The beans were okay, a little bit too runny for me. I guess next time i'll make sure to stick to their specialty, rotisserie chicken and YUCCA!!!
(3)Gravy F.
Great food for a great price. This place looks like it would be expensive but it is very affordable compared to the quality of food.
(5)Arthur C.
One of my favorite place in Midlothian. I am never disappointed. It is very popular, so parking can be a challenge, but it is worth the effort. The rotisserie chicken (over charcoal) is great. You can get half or quarter, and specify white or dark only (not mentioned on the menu, but you can request). It is always well cooked, moist, and has lots of flavor. The yucca is my favorite side, very crispy and a good accompaniment to the chicken. The black beans are good, but too much cumin for my taste. The prices are very reasonable, and the service is quick and friendly, and very helpful if you need it.
(5)Tawheed H.
I have never had a bad meal here. Cheap and down right good. The chicken n rib combo is still my favorite.
(4)Elizabeth W.
I love the cheese quesadilla and my husband always gets the chicken tacos. My kids enjoy the chicken.
(4)Cindy K.
Yummy!!!! Chicken is divine & the steak is very good. The beans are tasty and not the typical dry refried mush. The rice is fresh and light. The staff is polite. Price is good. My only negative is the parking is awful.
(4)Tina K.
Thank you, Yelpers! I tried Chicken Fiesta today based on all the great reviews and wasn't even a tiny bit disappointed. First of all, this is probably one of the cleanest restaurants I have ever eaten in. Big points for that. Second, the food is delish. I had the taco platter and my husband had the burrito. Based on the recommendations, we also tried a side of fried yucca. The food was great. Servings left us full, but not overstuffed. The green sauce on the side was fantastic; the yucca was fried perfectly. Service was friendly, customers were a great mix of people from all different walks of life. Simply awesome. Oh, and Chicken Fiesta is right next door to La Sabrosita, so we walked over there and bought some pastries to take home. Awesome Saturday lunch!
(5)Stephanie S.
This place is beyond delicious. I went here because of the great reviews and it did not disappoint. I am there probably 3x a week now. It's clean, friendly and fast enough to grab lunch during the work week. Amazing.
(5)Cristi J.
I've driven past this place a million times and didn't know what a gem of a restaurant was only minutes from my house! We got the nachos, yucca, steak and chicken platter, and Horchata drinks. It looks small outside but the inside of the restaurant isn't too bad. It's just usually pretty busy and now I know why. The atmosphere is casual and I was glad that I could order "sit down" restaurant quality food without dealing with a server. You can pour your own beverages at the available soda fountain. They have hot sauce and cut limes available, napkins, pepper, etc. They even serve beer here if you enjoy having a beer with your food. Next time I'm in the mood for Tex/mex this is going to be where I go.
(5)Amber V.
This place is pretty unassuming on the outside and located on a strip of Midlo that nobody thinks of as a dining destination. However, do yourself a favor and stop in against your better judgement. Chicken fiesta is authentic(ish) and crazy delicious. As you might guess from the name, chicken is the main draw here for most people. When you walk in you will be greeted by the smell and impressive sight of dozens of chickens rotating on their rotisserie. Their rotisserie chicken puts its cousins from the grocery store to shame. The skin is seasoned perfectly and incredibly tasty and the meat is juicy and tender. You can order whole, half or quarter chickens to eat in the restaurant or to go. They also offer a menu of chicken centered options like tacos, taco salads, burritos and nachos. The only chicken option missing are chicken skin tacos. I am still hopeful that they eventually add those to the menu. Surprisingly, my go to item on this menu is not chicken at all. Their steak taco platter is other worldly. The steak is charred perfectly and served on flour tortillas, and is accompanied by the usual guacamole and sour cream salad. Melted butter is also served on the side to drizzle on the tacos. I'd never heard of such a thing before coming to chicken fiesta and I have no idea if it authentic, but what I do know is that it is delicious! I haven't eaten chicken here in over 6 months. It's becoming a situation. If you possess to will power to moderate how many steak tacos you will eat in the future then I implore you to visit Chicken Fiesta asap to give them a try. You won't regret it!
(5)Tiffany D.
I frequently go to the Midlothian Turnpike location for lunch with my co-workers and I am obsessed! I always get either their steak taco salad with this unique dressing and plenty of fresh lettuce and steak strips or the standard 1/4 chicken with yucca and salad. The yucca is always fried perfectly so it's crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I get a sweet tea or sometimes a horchata and the food is ready within five minutes. Since they expanded the location, it's been even better to accommodate more people who come in. I have never had a bad meal and my co-workers have had plenty of their dishes including burritos and sandwiches. Try this place out!
(5)Andrew G.
The rotisserie chicken is the best I've ever had. It comes with two sauces as far as I remember, a white creamy sweet sauce and a green spicy chile type sauce. The beans are very good too. You may be tempted to try the yuca, but I didn't think they were that good.
(5)Dee J.
I love finding myself near Chicken Fiesta. I always stop in either for lunch or to get dinner to-go. The roasted chicken sandwich is tasty, fresh and delicious. And they never complain when I ask for "no mayo"! In fact, they make sure to mark the wrapper so I know which is mine. Service is friendly and helpful. They even gave me a sample yucca to try since I'd never had it before. Of course that led to my buying a couple orders. Good food, good service...a great place to enjoy a casual lunch or dinner.
(4)Ekaterina G.
The food is fantastic for the price and super fast. I always go back to this place, it's one of my favorites in Richmond - the rotisserie chicken is beyond delicious. The chicken alone deserves 5 stars! My only complaints are 1. my rice was cold and 2. the salad needed a little more work.. It's a shame to call pieces of lettuce thrown in a bowl - a salad.
