Ordered here for the first time tonight, it was very good and reasonably priced. I ordered 2 Strombolis and an order of garlic knots for delivery for $20. Wouldn't say it's the best food I've ever had but it was good for the price and I would much rather give my money to a smaller place than places like Pizza Hut.

Second time ordering food from here. First time food wasn't ready this time I placed my order an hour before the time I wanted to pick it up. I get there and find that it hasn't been made and none of the cooks know anything about it.

AMAZINGLY good. Sweet staff. We order from here all the time and it never disappoints. Request romaine on the salads-they do it at no cost. Everything is so good, especially the cheese steaks and pizza!

There are quite a few things I love about this place and I will start with the convenience of ordering. They offer online ordering, mobile ordering via the eat24 app and of course traditional call in. A variety of menu options exist and I've yet to be disappointed. I'm almost 9 months pregnant currently and I have ordered from them consistently over the last few weeks. I actually like their pasta dishes so much I've ignored the pizza recently. I have tried so many different things that I'll just give a quick overview. The pizza is traditional new York style and tasty. The eggplant parm made my heart glad! Cheesy, flavorful, and HOT. I have never had cold delivery. The strombolis are big -2 meals worth of tasty. The Buffalo wings are basic. It's wings; the sauce won't win awards, but it won't disappoint. The side salad that comes with the pasta is more than just lettuce, so I appreciated that. I enjoyed the fried ravioli so much I forgot to eat my meal one day. I ordered the sautéed mushroom hamburger today. We'll see how I enjoy it. I paired with the cheese fries, which I've had before. These people don't skimp on the cheese! Ever! They randomly offer beef patties (maybe b/c this is Portsmouth - who knows . They get the job done if you want a beef patty on the go. Basically, if you want delivery in the Midtown Portsmouth area that isn't big box pizza or Chinese, try Sal's. The portion sizes are amazing for the price and you won't be disappointed.

The Pizza is great! The burgers are great, but the cheese steak is Not Philly style at all! And the subs are down right disgusting. I am sure the reason their subs suck is because they can't get the right meats. The Anti- pasta is not real Italian Anti-pastas it is three cheap meats, big tom tomatoes and white American cheese. Growing up in Philadelphia, and eating real Italian foods, the best part of this place is the pizza, and I will always order pizza here hands down. I will order a cheese burger here as well. But that's it. Don't order the cheese fries unless you like cold mozzarella cheese and French fries. I love Sal's, but stick to the Pizza.

Definitely a hole in the wall place. It's not glamorous by any means but it's better then others. Pizzas are large for their size which is a plus. Open view to kitchen and you can definitely tell they make their dough in house. Pizza was excellent. Typical NY Street Pizza, if you want real NY pizza come here, you won't be disappointed.

For the first time ever i was not pleased...i love everything about Sal's but yesterday i ordered my favorite steak sub...they literally just stuffed steak and not that much in a sub roll and melted cheese on top not mixed like it normally is and toasted...i am so disappointed...i am hoping it was just an off day ...my husband's sub was the same...meat was dried out not moist...again disappointed...

Ordered from the online site; went well but they didn't list any kids meals so I asked for one in the comments of the chicken finger appetizer (they came through). Overall the process was smooth and delivery arrived 30 min later (email said 60 min). Individual size stromboli was HUGE, I'll definitely order again. It was delicious! Packaging could have been better; eggplant Parm dinner spilled out and into the bag. Minor issues, food was great. I'll be back!!

Great pizza! The crust is chewy, not tough or greasy like some of the big pizza chains. Watch out their biggest pizza is fargun huge! I have not ordered from PJs since Sals opened up. Give them a try you wont be disappointed.

We have ever only ordered delivery and honestly wouldn't order a pie from any place else. Great new York style pie with fast service.
