This Foster's in Marshall used to be great years ago. Now, it employs snarky inattentive teenagers, the wings were dried out, the hot dog and burger buns stale, and it's not that cheap for what it is. The chili dog buns are always soaked through and soggy. I'm listing these issues because the Foster's I remembered stood out for having the exact opposite qualities....delicious "fresh baked" taste in the buns, juicy meaty wings, and the chili placed carefully on the hot dog so you don't get a disintegrated disgusting wad of goopy bread.

So I've been here twice and I have to say their Fries!, wings and chocolate milkshake are very good. Service is always slow; management is always nice despite the snarky teens at the counter. I always forget to ask for my burger to be medium and it always comes out well cooked, I mean it is a char burger right? Toppings are always fresh. This time around I ventured out to wings but I definitely want to try other things on their menu. Their fries!!!! (You know I love fries) First things first you think man these must come from some HUGE potates because they are long. Despite them being somewhat thin their texture is perfect and they are perfectly seasoned each time! It seems like they have in house specials that run for wings, beer etc. Whenever Im headed to my aunts I try to stop past and get some fosters grille.

Foster's is a great place for family and friends. We love that we can bring our dogs to the outside eating area when the weather is nice. The food is substantial and always tastes great. The staff is friendly and halpful. Always nice to stop in for a meal. Keep up the great work!

Foods good. Plate sizes fluctuate in my opinion. Sometimes the chix sandwhichs are good sized others they are really thin and overcooked. Wings are good. Fries are the best. Main complaint is when they charge you extra for blue cheese or ranch for a buffalo chicken sandwhich or with wings. Restaurants nickel and diming you for cheese(.60cents) and each blue cheese or ranch(.25cents) is a major turn away. Staff is generally happy and nice at the register. Not a hug fan of the manager she is rude and does not look thrilled to be there.

This restaurant is usually a hit or miss.. Depending on the day. I recommend their hot wings. I believe they have the best wings around. The service is decent, nothing special...only flaw is their prices, and sometimes they cut you short in the fries. If you're lucky you'll get more than enough fries, but if you aren't lucky.. You'll get half a handful on the side.. That is why this restaurant is a HIT or a MISS.

Great burger and fries. Old time flavor. Friendly staff. Takes a little while to cook a half pound burger. If you want fast go to McDonalds. If you want good, come here.

Oh, man. The chocolate milkshake here was first rate - mmm, chocolatey cold goodness! The food was decent, too... I tried the Asian chicken salad and it came with a nice warm chicken breast and sweet oriental dressing. The lettuce was pretty fresh, and I liked the crunchy noodly things, but the tomatoes had little to no flavor and could've been nixed altogether. It was a big salad, which barely fit in the plastic to-go container they served it in (even though I was eating in-house). I kept losing little pieces off the edge and also it was tough to cut the chicken up - it would be nice if they had bigger, reuseable plates/bowls. I also think having reusable cups for water etc. rather than handing out styrofoam cups would be better - I know it would mean a few more dishes for them, but it just feels nicer. When you're paying $13 for a shake and a salad, and there is table service (you order at the front and they bring your food out to you), I think you should have real silverware and plates. That's a little qualm, though. The guys working there were all super friendly and the manager came around to check how we liked our meal. I've been told that it gets very noisy at dinnertime, when the kids are playing in the arcade - the games are located right next to the dining room and there isn't a wall between them, so I could see how that would be loud. At lunch, though, it was quiet and the service was fast. I'd like to go back and try one of their burgers.

Love the food and atmosphere but the last few weeks it seems like its more of a bar atmosphere instead of a family restaurant. I have been twice and both times it seems like alot of folks are just there drinking (not that its a bad thing) but when every other word on the patio is F*%K and I have my nephew that is not very good. Still potential, just need to clean up the atmosphere from 5-7.

Good spot for lunch if you're in the area. Also a great spot for outdoor dining (patio on the side) if the weather is nice. The service is slow, but the staff is very nice so that makes it much easier to deal with. There's also an ATM here, just in case you need one.

How can you not love Foster's Grille? If you've never been here, you simply have to check them out, they have locations in Warrenton, Manassas, Haymarket and more. Foster's has burgers, hot dogs, grilled chicken sandwiches, wings, salads, and other staples of quick American food but they are known for their burgers and fries. They also have a daily special, usually a combo of some type, and killer milkshakes

Rather mediocre local burger chain. Food was fine although the burger was dry and overcooked (is that what a "charburger" means?). An OK place, but nothing to write home about.
