Very friendly - good staff - great FREE peanuts and cold beer - steaks aren't bad for the price - only problem is the stink - not sure what is going on with the place but for the last 3 weeks there has been this stench that permeates the place - unfortunately it ruins everything else that they do right - sorry guys but won't be back unless you figure out how to clean the place and get rid of the smell.... Obviously bacteria brewing somewhere.

Service was fine, Food took a long time to come out, around 50 minutes. The server informed us that the kitchen was backed up, this was about 2 minutes before our meals came out. Rare rib eye was medium, and medium burger came out super well done. Server offered to fix but we had already waited too long. The fried cheese burger is a failure, that little wheel of cheese was a nasty congealed mess, nothing melty or cheesy about it. Prime rib and fried shrimp were reported to be good by others in the party.

Country Fried Steak and potatoes is delicious! It's called Chicken Fried Steak where I'm from, but it's just as tasty as I've ever had. It's served up right a generous portion of creamy pepper gravy and mashed potato goodness. Southern comfort food and a solid choice here. The service was super friendly, but a bit slow. I'm not holding it against them, but that's all that kept them from a fifth start tonight.

This is a Sunday at 3:00 Not near enough help for the service area. Did not take but 15 minutes to be seated BUT after being seated waited over 10 minutes before any server came to take drink orders. When he did he was polite. Not sure why they cut back wait staff. Happy customers equal repeat business as well as more orders going through. The bread rolls I usually live sooo much taste a bit different. I believe they are no longer the same. They do not emit that delicious yeast roll smell and flavor. This is our last visit. Logans IS THEIR ROLLS. without it you are another run of the mill steak place! Just a thought.

The worst part about this place is that it was dirty. When we were seated, there were dirty napkins under our table and crumbs on the booth seats. The nachos were not as described on the menu, but came with a cheese sauce, which we hate. The chips were soft as if it had been sitting around awhile. The rolls were excellent and so was the asparagus. However, it felt dirty the whole time we were there. Not returning.

My steak was over cooked. When the manager came by to check on us I told her. She literally just walked off without a word. Our waitress did get me another steak but with no real concern. Overall it was a bad experience.

I am not familiar with the Manassas area, but was going to a show at JLL with some friends and they wanted to meet here for dinner beforehand. I wasn't sure what to expect, but thought since it was a chain steakhouse it might be very hit or miss. Well, I don't know about other reviewer's experiences here, but it was a hit for me. My strawberry margarita was delicious (and huge) and my ribeye steak was cooked perfectly medium rare. This impresses me because I've been to really high end steak houses that don't get it quite right. The ribeye was flavorful and tender and the mashed potatoes were a perfect side (and the right amount, I don't need a mountain of potatoes). Even the rolls were a surprise. Really warm, soft, buttery rolls. Delicious meal. Very quick service, too.

Went there with a wedding rehearsal party, about 30 of us. The seating was a disaster, ordering the food was even worse. There was no method or organization. When the food was FINALLY done, the waiters went around calling out who ordered what because they had no idea. It was such a mess they didn't bother with the dessert order!!! Very incompetent. The two stars Is for the food because it was actually good. They need better training in organization.

5/4/14 around noon - My husband and I decided to try it on our way home from a trip and was pleasantly surprised. We walked right up to the deck area and was seated immediately. All the staff greeted us with a smile.Sean was our server, he made great recommendations and the service was perfect. I got the steak and chicken, and my husband go the ribs and steak. This place knows how to do a steak right!! seasoned and cooked to perfection. I also loved the prickly pear margarita. It was huge. I will warn you there were bees we had to dodge going in and going out and there were a couple of brazen birds. Next time we might eat in doors, but we will be back again!

Food is always excellent and very nice people, however, execution on pick-up has been very poor, on meeting the time given over the phone. Was told 30 min, got there at 35 min, waited another 15 until the bags of my food came out...50 minutes? Unacceptable and no apology for the wait. Previous time before was a while for pickup and I thought it was a fluke, told 40 min that time because it was a busy night, took an hour. Family loves the food, need to work pick up times, I would to continue coming here and ordering to pick up, can't beat the rolls!

I had a great time at Logan's last night! A walkin party of 6 I was surprised (as a hostess myself) to get a table within 30 minutes on a Saturday around 7! My server was great, always prompt with drinks, table clearing, and the check(she knew how to turn tables!!) My boyfriend's steak was first brought out well done ... Not what he ordered! It was tough and we had it sent back... His re-fire was served red in the middle... Sent back again! The re-fire was quick and the manager visited our table to let us know his dish had been comped. The third time is the charm :) I ordered the rum-soaked salmon and thought it was slightly over cooked. No one else at my table had any complaints. Additionally, their bathrooms were horrible! Stall 1 did not lock, stall 2 was out of order, stall 3 had an employee using the restroom(is there no employee bathroom? My restaurant has one and requires you use it!) stall 4... We'll... I'll be polite and say It was just plain disgusting! Great service, good food, bad bathrooms.

I give one star for being seated promptly. After that zero stars. My family and I have dined at Logan's before but in other locations. This was a completely different experience. From the time we were seated to the time our food arrived we waited 1hr 22min, the food order was wrong for one and incomplete for another. The correct order arrived when the rest of use were finished. We tried to wait but our food was getting cold. The missing item came, after asking again, when we were all finished and ready to leave. We will never go back. Things do happen - but it's all in how it's handled. This located could use a lesson on that.

Sorry Logan's. I was one of your biggest fans. My family loved when I announced we were coming to eat your food. Every meal I've had was great and twice I have noted that here on past reviews. Today...I was very disapointed. My happy place for nachos. They have been switched from Chili Cheese nachos to some random cheese sauce poured over some chips. There were two beans total on the plate. A pinch of some kind of chili looking sauce...No flavor. We waited a pretty long time to get our entrees. I ordered the new Flat Iron steak (medium) with baked potato and steamed broccoli. The steak was more on the rare side and was hard to cut. Really chewy and there was a sinew string that refused to be sawed in half. I could only eat 4 bites. The waitress noticed and said she'd comp it. I told her, it was no big deal, no worries, but she said, no.. it's a new item and you didn't even eat it, you cannot pay for this. She was nice. There weren't a lot of people in there and it was weird when we walked in as for the first time, I saw no meat being cooked on the front grill behind the glass. That smell used to be so good and now there is an "underneath" kind of smell that's there. I noticed it first thing. L.R. Perhaps run an undercover boss steakout or something. Don't let your good customers leave you over something you can step in and fix.

I read the reviews on this place and I was hesitant to try it out but I still took my family here on a Saturday night. The waiter was very friendly, the drinks where good but the service was extremely slow. Somehow our order got lost or forgotten (even had to ask the waiter where is our salads) and after two hour of trying to be patient it was time to speak to he manager. The manager apologize and gave us our order for free minus the cost of drinks and we took it to go. When we got back home and tried the food it was cooked to perfection! The disconnect I notice with this place is with the waiters. Although our waiter was nice he did a horrible job of managing his area and it cost them about $80. I'm not sure if I would come back or not.

So I dont know how frequent this is but we had live entertainment this evening (a wed evening) as we sat outside on the deck We had an awesome server (Mike) and a new addition to the menu here at Logans buffalo chicken dip! Good job all around I continue to enjoy Logans on every visit. They seem to be adding some new stuff like the fried cheese and bacon burger (which I had). If for some reason you haven't been to logans its a definite recommendation

Serivice is what's the word ummmm garbage!!!! Every employee is walking around like zombies there is no enthusiasm passion or interest in anything outside of getting customers in and out. Yuck! Personally I like a full dining experience and this was two stars worth. Waiter lost the ticket, no refills, no enthusiasm, no suggestions...just there. The food was good literally good nothing special at all about this place. Lackluster at it's finest.

Logan's Roadhouse is A-OK. It meets expectations which is to say you get a decent meal at a reasonable price. We used to go to this Logan's more often back when our daughter was growing up. Whenever we would do some shopping Manassas sometimes dinner would be here. It has been years since we went here. The menu has changed somewhat---no more Chatahootchie cheese fries, which were Logan's take on Outback's Aussie cheese fries. We got here just before 5 p.m. on a Saturday and already they were busy. It took about 20 minutes before we were seated. It seems that they weren't fully staffed in the front of the house at that hour. So it was a matter of having more servers on hand before everybody could get seated. To drink, I tried their take on a whiskey sour which uses their own sour mix. Truth be told, it wasn't that good---a strong drink but on the bitter side. My husband had an O'Douls. I had the southwestern bbq chicken. This dish consists of a thin boneless, skinless chicken breast that's topped with a bbq sauce that's on the spicy side plus melted mild cheddar cheese and some fresh tomato pieces. For my 2 sides I chose a grilled vegetable skewer and loaded mac & cheese. The chicken was a bit overcooked but still tasty. The veggies were well grilled and consisted of red onions, zucchini, tomatoes and button mushrooms. I liked the loaded mac & cheese as it had a generous portion of cheese and ample bacon bits on top. Thankfully, the side portion was small. My husband had the 9 oz. filet. We noticed that now when you order a steak at Logan's, the server asks you to cut into it right away when it comes to your table. This is done to make sure that it is cooked the way you ordered. Actually, this is a good idea. If the steak isn't properly prepared, it can get corrected more quickly this way. He thought that his filet was okay but said that Outback has better quality steak. For his sides, he got a garden salad and a baked potato. The baked potato was on the small side, which was fine as it was properly prepared. Before the tip, dinner cost $46 + change. I'm sure that at some point we will go to a Logan's Roadhouse again.

Mediocre all around. The patio area outside was as basic as possible, but the server was very attentive. Requested medium for daughter's steak and medium-rare for my steak and both were rubber boots. Well done would've been undercooked. Best part of my steak was the onions.

This place is terrible !! We went there with family members from out of state over labor day weekend and let me tell you about the service...we ordered drinks non alcoholic and my drink came 15 min after everyone else had there drinks , said they had to brew the tea then brought it out with no ice , second on the food it took an hr and when food all came out except my daughters the waiter said they are having difficulties making her chicken tenders. .wtf..I went off how hard is it to make tenders and kids come first stupid ass. Oh and the ribeye I ordered was over cooked and paper thin what the hell is that..terrible and I will never go there again ..on top of all this our waiters knuckles on both hands where all skinned up ,what the hell is going on there and then they charge me $90 for shit

Wow...what to say. This is my first qnd only review on yelp. But this needs to be said: Let me start by saying this is my third time at this Logans. I've never had a pleasant experience here, but im a man of second (and apparantly third) chances. I've never been to any other location than this one, but I sincerely hope they are not similar. I went in to order some food to go. Had my wife and the dog in the car waiting (I figured it would only take about 20mins anyways). I give the hostess my order and she goes to the back and gives it to the waitress. "It'll be a few minutes, have a seat." she tells me. So I did. 20 minutes came, then 30, then 40. At 45 minutes, I got tired of waiting. I asked the waitress how much time on was left on my order. She has the balls to tell me "The hostess got your phone order, but we haven't had a chance to enter it into the system." I told her that I didn't call the order in, and that I'd been watching her walk back and forth for the past 45 minutes. I thanked her for lying straight to my face and wasting my time, and exited. I hope none of you waste your night and money in this poor excuse for a restaurant.

All four orders were wrong and cold when we waited for our meal. Steak was overcooked and dry and the steamed broccoli was mushy, so all I ate there was just the bread rolls. I've eaten at this place before but this was unacceptable. They were nice enough to cover the meal, so the manager did right.

Wife had a concert she was in at the nearby library and we needed to eat afterwards....they were like walking distance close...very very glad we tried them....the hot buttered rolls rocked....even better when I put extra butter on them! My steak came out perfect....first time the kid had peanuts in the shell and he loved tossing the shells on the floor, yes, little kid....wife had salmon...yea, I know, in a steak place but she she said it was really good....will repeat when in Manassas again...very good

Logan's Roadhouse has been around for a long time. It's right off the main drag through Manassas on Route 234 close to Manassas Mall. I find this place like a blast from the past - with the mediocre quality that was known for those long forgotten steakhouses from back in the day. Remember Western Sizzlin's? The old Golden Corrals (before it was buffet), Sizzler and Steak and Ales? That's the quality you get here. The atmosphere is most definitely country/western. Peanut shells, loud music and neon lights. The best part of this restaurant is the bar. Plenty of TV screens and a full service selection on of beer, wine and spirits make this a perfect location for meeting people of similar interests. Simply put, although the steaks are ok, the food here is not going to wow you. If you opt for an alternative item, expect something of ordinary quality with lots of sodium. The free bread is always a plus, but the bread is just ordinary dinner rolls with butter. Service was fine, and the restrooms were clean enough, but it's a "roadhouse" so I guess you should expect too much in this category. Just an all around 3 star restaurant that is fine if you are just hungry and not looking for something of better than average quality.

If I could 3.5 stars, I would. Good food, decent service, but don't go if you are in a rush. Logan's food is good, I like my steak rare and sometimes when I go it is more medium rare instead, but I am not fussy about that. The only food item I've ever been disappointed with are the onion petals - they aren't like an onion ring, or a bloomin' onion. They are something else and just not good. Maybe the time I had it, the onion wasn't quite ripe? Either way, I wouldn't order it again. The servers are good, and friendly. Every time I've been to Logan's they screw up one of my sides - bring me the wrong one, but are quick to rectify the situation bringing me the side I wanted within minutes. HOWEVER: if you are in a hurry to eat? Do not go to Logan's. For the style of place it is, you wait a relatively long time to get your food - it goes beyond the "this will be good, the food will be nice and fresh" to the "I'm hungry, where is my food already." Logan's is close to where I live, and you know what you're getting, so I will continue to go here every now and again - just not when I am absolutely starving or in a rush.

I would give a 4 1/2 if I could... I came one tome with an ex 9 years ago and thought it was ok. Moved closer in manassas 3 years ago and been back 4 times. 3/4 I have had good... no, great service. Such a good place for the family too. Juke box anyone?

My friends and I came by last night for dinner after leaving DC and heading back south. Three of us ordered drinks, which we not mixed very well. Margarita had salt floating to the bottom, and another the mason jar was way too big for the drink, with a little more than half full. We ate near the bar, and if the bartender wouldve paid a little less attention to her friends, may have been done properly. We ordered Ribeyes, with 1 burger. All three of the Steaks came out with temp picks in them, which doesn't look professional, and were all over cooked. One was sent back, and when the manager dropped it off, with alcohol on his breath, we let him know the others were overcooked as well so he can talk to his staff accordingly. We never got Peanuts, drink refills until the end, overall just a disappointing dinner. Being in the restaurant I understand to some extent with new staff, and working to get things done correctly, but it didn't seem like they were trying.

In a sea of horrible chain food restaurants, Logan's Roadhouse manages make even McDonalds sound appetizing. Steaks: 3 were ordered 3 over cooked and over salted. Cheeseburger: over cooked and dry. Baked potatoes: cold. Mashed potatoes: cold over salted. Service disjointed. Reordered 2 steaks: over salted. How is it possible to screw up so consistently? I have no idea and have no intentions of returning to find out. Lousy's Roadhouse

Food took forever but the manager did come out and apologize saying the printer in the kitchen was jammed. Waitress also was friendly and apologetic. Once the food did come out it was hot, just as ordered, and very tasty. The inside of the restaurant could use a good cleaning and i didn't really like the atmosphere but the food and friendly service makes up for it somewhat.

This place was not impressive at all. It took 10 minutes to get a glass of water, the rolls were hard and we were waited on after two tables that sat after us. Our salads came out and seconds later so did our entrees. We sent them back but let's be honest, they sat in a warmer for 15 minutes while we ate the salad - which was just okay. I got the half rack of ribs. They were fine but nothing special at all. My husband got a steak that was nothing special. Our waitress was nice enough but was also kind of preoccupied doing chores in the kitchen it seemed like (I could see in there from where we were seated). Probably wont be returning. I've heard good things about this place for a while but I'd much rather spend a few extra dollars at Outback and get a meal I know will be quality.

We have passed by this joint many times and had heard good things from many people. Last night, we decided to try it out since we have already blacklisted many places in this area bc of service or quality. It's a little hard to find the entrance at first as you have to walk around a wrapped deck to find the front door. The atmosphere was a little loud for our tastes. Loud in noise and decor. We were greeted promptly and our waitress was nice yet spoke almost no English. Never offered any specials or even her name. This place looks like it's out of the 90s and is similar to Bennigans or an old steak and ale restaurant. We ordered the roadies burger sliders, a kids meal with steak tips and an appetizer combo. Generally the food was okay at best. Definitely nothing extraordinary or special here. Thought the quality was lacking compared to other steakhouses. Do not order the burger sliders. They were bland with no flavor oddly shaped and the cut of beef mirrored a McDonald's beef patty. Literally you could not tell the difference. It was so bad that I returned it. They took it off the check as I expected. But after that I just wasn't hungry anymore. Overall. We prolly with be returning. It's just not out type of scene. Food quality 4. Service 6. Value 6.

We ordered and got the food 45 minutes later only to have cold fries, rubbery shrimp, and undercooked steak. There was an old lady that came around with a cane asking get how our meal was more than twice and that got pretty annoying. More than once our glasses were empty and the restaurant want even busy. My mom got up and poured her own iced tea from the machine and no one even noticed because they all had their heads up their butts.

My kids and I love this place. We're moving soon out of state and the first thing they asked was "Is there a Logans?" Luckily, there are TWO in our new city! I'm not a steak or seafood eater; I always get the nachos. Having grown up in Manassas, I fondly remember the awesomeness of Pargo's nachos, but alas, they've been out of business for 20 years. This is the closest thing to that. Nachos are simply heavenly and I haven't found any other remotely as good. The kids love the kids meals, love picking out songs on the juke box, and love throwing peanut shells on the floor. The service is always excellent. Yes, I'm a fan!

We came to Logan's on a beautiful, sunny Saturday afternoon with the intention to eat on the patio and watch the turtles in the pond. Unfortunately the patio was closed for another month and they only had indoor seating. Because my daughter's peanut allergy, eating inside was just not an option. Once we informed the staff of my daughter's allergy, they opened their patio to us and provided us with wonderful, attentive service... something they did not have to do. My kids had a great time feeding the geese, eating their steaks and enjoying the beautiful sunshine and this momma is very grateful to Logan's for accommodating our family... and the food is great too! 5 stars for service with a smile.

Slow slow slow slow! Took 10 minutes to take our drink orders. 10 minutes to get the drinks. 10 minutes after that to take our orders. 10 minutes for the starter bread. Then 30 to 40 minutes for our food. If you enjoy waiting, this'll be the place for you. Should've gone to Olive Garden

I can here the other day for lunch with a group of coworkers. When I walked in there was one person walking in at the same time. The person at the hostess station promptly greeted them and found them a seat. The hostess came back and then went on to completely ignore me and was having a casual non-work related conversation with another Logan's employee. After about 2 or 3 minutes of being ignored I said excuse me I'm looking for my party. The hostess turned around looking completely annoyed and then pointed towards the back. With attitudes like that it's no wonder this place isn't busy for lunch. Now for the food which was ok although it took almost 45 minutes to get our express food which was a couple of burgers and salads. The food servers were completely confused on who's food was whose and acted like the had never served a table before. They even started getting mad at us when they gave the wrong food to the wrong person. It was funny when they came to clear the table the Preston called the appetizer plate the little saucer thingy. My grilled chicken salad was ok but nothing about it stood out. The servers did do a very good job at keeping our drinks refilled. Overall I don't think we will be going back anytime soon. Parking lot and main entrance is strange. With the deck and pond this place could be so much more.

When it comes to national chain steak joints, this one is the tops in my book. My dad LOVES a good steak, and every time he visits we HAVE to come here at least once. And time and time again, Logan's delivers. Logan's has a bit more of the casual "roadhouse" feel than other steak houses such as, say, Longhorn. It's not a dimly lit, faux-upscale atmosphere, but rather bright, vibrant, casual, and occasionally noisy. It's one of those peanut-on-the-floor type of places, so if that isn't your type of atmosphere, look elsewhere. The menu is also a bit more casual ... mixed in with the great steaks are appetizers typical of a chain American restaurant (the nachos are ridiculously huge for $8) and they have a good selection of comfort food dishes like meat loaf, pork chops, and ribs, and a small seafood selection. I have had the meat loaf here and it's pretty good. My dad shocked everyone when we went here for lunch two weeks ago and, not feeling like a steak for lunch, opted for a burger and raved at how good it was. But the reason to come here, and the reason I give an otherwise just-above average chain American restaurant 4 stars, is their steaks. They make about as good of a steak as I have ever had. And they consistently deliver a quality steak time after time. They use a special seasoning blend that adds a ton of wonderful flavor, and always get mine that perfect "rare". They also have a great selection of sides, from healthy to decadent, and their rolls are wonderful starters. The small "desert buckets" are great mini-deserts for those with a sweet tooth but not wanting a full large desert. None of that for me on my diet ... but Logan's is very diet-friendly, with a selection of "health nut" meals. And for me, a 6 oz sirloin with 2 veggie skewers fit perfectly into my diet plan. Like any casual American restaurant with a rednecky vibe in Virginia, things can get a bit busy on Friday and Saturday nights. But if you are willing to tackle the crowd, or able to go at a slower time, you'll find that Logan's delivers a surprisingly excellent steak, and has enough variety on the menu to make the whole family happy.

I will say that the staff here are friendly and attentive. The ambiance was family-friendly, and there were peanut shells everywhere (kinda cool). My meal was just average, though. I ordered the steak and chicken combo and I wasn't too impressed. Would I recommend this place? Sure! I will come back for certain, but not anytime soon!

I usually don't give out 5 stars but this place was great. My friends and I walked in a sat down in prime eating time on a Friday night without a wait. This was my 1st time at a Logan's. I had the sirloin w/grilled lobster tails. Great dish with brocoli, rice and sweet potatoe (with butter, cinnamon and sugar.) There rolls are homemade. We had two baskets with butter as well. I don't eat steak that often but it was great time with friends and the waitress was prompt and nice as well. Definitely will have to add this to my dining list when I am in Manassas. Oh, they also have a happy hour from 4 to 7 with margaritas, beer and a few other items.

I have been to the restaurant on Sudley Road twice now, once around 2008, and back on the 31st of January. It seems popular. it was quite busy when I was there a couple of weeks ago with my parents, at 7:30 at night. There might be something I'm missing. Not sure what. My parents came in to town for our sons birthday which is their yearly tradition. They fly into Dulles on Thursday night, and I pick them up at the airport. Because it was so late, we grabbed something to eat before we got home. I missed the exit to 50 West, so Chantilly was out. Decided to eat in PWC, as I know where things are there. Discussed Chili's, but Logan's is before you get to Chili's and I hadn't been there for a long time. We arrived and were seated. The drinks came, and all was fine. The server took our orders. My mom wanted chicken. The entree came with two sides. She discussed this with the server, who seemed helpful. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. All seemed set. After waiting a while, not a terribly long time, but not really fast either the server brought out the food. She provided my mom with two sides, but no chicken. She said that she thought my mom wanted sides only. I had been sitting about the same distance from my mother as the server was, when the order was taken, and I had heard her request for chicken very well. Plus how much sense does ordering sides, and no entree make? My mom was polite, and ate her sides, but she wanted the chicken. The server apologized for the inconvenience, but was prepared to leave. My mother told her that she still wanted the chicken. The server went off and had the cooks put the chicken on. About 10 or 15 minutes later, she brings the chicken out, housed in a take-out box. My mom never asked to have it for take-out. In fact she made a point of saying that she wanted to eat it at the restaurant. That amount of presumptuousness was almost odd. My mother said that her food was good however. For myself, the hamburger looked great. Thick crispy bacon, nice looking condiments, (pickles, lettuce etc.), however the meat didn't taste all that great. I would wager to say that you can get a better tasting hamburger at Five Guys or even Hardy's. This is from steak house. Despite anything that might construe negativity on the server, she was actually pretty good. Polite, and pretty attentive, (except to my mom). She was very apologetic...twice. All in all, I think I see why I hadn't been back to the Logan Roadhouse, off of Sudley Rd, in over four years. It wasn't a bad experience, but it wasn't great either. I enjoy the peanuts and floor shells thing as much as I could for something so played out. The restrooms was clean. PS, before I forget, my mom's meal was not on the bill.

Great steaks. Employees need more customer service training. We walked in all the hostess and host walked away and ignored us.We then decided to leave and get curbside instead because the food is really good.

Just had dinner and like most have stated it's just an average steak house. The waitstaff needs to be more attentive to the customers. The food was just ok.

Decent place. Nothing fancy. Just a good, honest, All-American steak. I got a 16-ounce ribeye and mashed potatoes and gravy. The gravy was not great. It had a taste that reminded me of Shoney's gravy. I still ate it but it was not my favorite. The steak was well cooked and the potatoes were seasoned well. Nice waitress too. Overall, I like this place. Peanut shells on the floor is about my speed.

I've been to many different Logan's locations, but my recent experience at the Manassas Logan's has changed my whole attitude toward the chain. DO NOT GO HERE ON A BUSY DAY. You might be laughing, but I'm very serious. We were there on Memorial Day and there was a 35 minute wait. They have good food and we were already there, so 35 minutes was no big deal. For a large restaurant like Logan's on a busy day, 35 minutes sounded pretty average actually. However, once we were seated, this is what we observed happening at the tables around us: 1. They ran out of silverware 2. They ran out of glasses 3. They ran out of ribs 4. A gentleman at the next table spoke to the manager about a steak meal being poorly cooked, and his kid's macaroni and cheese not tasting right. The manager rudely said "thanks" and just walked away. 5. Our waitress, although she was trying very hard, didn't pay enough attention to my food allergy and served me something I couldn't have. (Luckily I noticed after only one bite, she brought out new food, and I was fine.) I'm not sure what to attribute this to... Unpreparedness? Poor management? Either way, it will be quite some time before I try again, and it certainly won't be at a busy time.

This is an American restaurant serving the typical American food that you'd expect. There is a small bar area. It's obvious that they're not trying to draw in the late night meet market crowd. The atmosphere is rustic. There is a lot of wood. A bucket of peanuts is provided to every table, and the custom is that the customers just discard the shells on the floor. As you walk around you can hear the shells crunching under your feet. It's a laid back informal place. The highlight of this place is the steaks. This place serves the best steaks I've ever had. You go to Outback and get prime rib or you go to some place and get filet mignon. Of course those are going to be good, but this place takes an ordinary every day sirloin and makes it tender, juicy and delicious. I don't know how they do it whether it's the meat selection, the spicing or the cooking method, but it's very good. You can even get a six ounce sirloin. You get a good piece of meat, but it doesn't fill you up for the subsequent six hours.

First time I was ever here. We do not have any Logans in Maryland-wish we did. I just got a 6oz steak from the healthy meal section of the menu, sweet potato & grilled mushrooms. Superb! It took a little while, but I didn't think it was anything out of the ordinary. I'd go here again. I wish it wasn't so far from us.

My wife and I shared a full rack of baby back ribs. They were much better than we expected. Service was OK. The salted-in-shell peanuts are sometimes under roasted but addictive. The hot buttered rolls they give you are very good.

No sure why the ratings are as low as they are. I've always had an excellent experience here. The rolls are hot and butter and the food is great. I've gotten the ribs and chicken combo, and the ribs fall right off the bone. The chicken was tender as well. Fries, mac and cheese, vegetable skewer are all excellent side choices.

I go to this steakhouse even though its a bit out of my way because I know what to expect every time I go. The steaks are consistently cooked and well seasoned. Service quality depends on who you get, but I've had some good servers most of the times I've been there. I love their grilled shrimp, steaks with blue cheese crumbles, their salads are good. Right now during the summer they have this delicious Peach drink they serve in a Mason Jar which is probably the most delicious drink I've ever had...do yourself a favor and go get one before they are gone for the summer. The last time I was there I finally tried their cinnamon roll sundae and it was DIVINE! Description: Cinnamon Roll Sundae A warm, made-in-our roadhouse cinnamon roll made with our yeast roll dough, cinnamon sugar & chopped walnuts, then freshly baked. Topped with warm apples, vanilla ice cream & drizzled with caramel sauce. I love caramel and am so tired of restaurants throwing a tasteless chocolate cake or brownie on the table and calling it decadent. This is totally worth the calories, but make sure you save room for it or plan on sharing with at least one other person!

Overrated. Service is mediocre, food is mediocre. Nothing memorable. It has a nice view of the little pond at Bull Run shopping center. Also, you can eat peanuts and throw them on the floor when you're done. Atmosphere 3 stars Food/service 2 stars I never go here by choice. Only when there's a large gathering of friends. I would never chose to go here.

I am not sure what, but there is something very comfortable about Logan's that keeps me coming back week after week. My wife and I eat here often and always leave satisfied with the food, prices, staff and overall experience. If you are looking for value in a steakhouse, this place is it. There have been a couple of times when my steak was over-cooked. However, Logan's fixed it each and every time. If you go there are two things you must try. 1) Their yeast rolls are awesome 2) The Logan's house dressing (Parmesan-peppercorn) is as good as any Recommended!

Went to Logan's in December after not having been in at least a year. At one point a few years ago they were pretty decent, but there was a noted drop in food quality within the last 1.5-2yrs. We decided to give it another try and what a mistake. I understand they're more of a steakhouse, but they can't grill shrimp to save their lives. This is the second time I got shrimp that was over-cooked, charred and tasteless. Not to mention that I ordered the Southwest Grilled Shrimp Appetizer which says it comes with salsa. Well the salsa was actually pretty good, but I could hardly find it on the plate. There was literally only a tablespoon maybe two of salsa... I could hardly find it. They need to get a new cook or something because they are pretty horrible.

This used to be a good deal but the prices have started to creep up and steaks can be hit or miss. The yeast rolls are to die for, potato soup excellent and salads fresh.

We went with a large group on Sunday afternoon that had reserved one of the party rooms. Even with the room reservation, our entire party ended up waiting about 45 minutes before we were taken to the back room and then another 10 minutes setting the tables up etc. The servive was good, and the food was tasty when we were finally served, but I do not recommend them for a large event. They just didn't seems prepared for a large group even though they had the facilities for it. I will give them another try with a small group because the food was really good and the service was fast when we finally put in our orders.

It's a chain, so it's typical chain restaurant food, nothing really super special. Their service is pretty decent, but I always get the feeling that the place feels greasy and not particularly clean when I go there.

I personally love that it's on the water. It's kinda cool that it has a neat location. We had a great waitress until she got offended by someone asking for her number jokingly. The fried mushrooms are great and are fried just to perfection. We all had steaks but my dad hated his because it was over spiced and too hard to even eat. The teriyaki steak was great and I really enjoyed it. I liked the vegetable skewer as well. The dessert was really good I had a brownie bucket and it was small but just enough to satisfied.

Have eaten there several times, food is okay, nothing special. My main gripe is that I have a little dog, and wanted to eat on the patio, outside, but "its not allowed" due to health regulations or blah, blah, blah. So you mean to tell me that all the other restuarants that allow dogs are breaking the law? I mean you can throw trash and peanuts and whatever else in the floor inside, but you cannot bring your dog outside...oh well. Didn't eat there but drove about two miles down the road to eat at Uno's Grill and the waitress even bought out a water bowl for my pup! So that was good.

I will start off saying I do not go to Logans often. The only reason I will go back is because of the manager and one other waiter. The waitress we first had was terrible. She rolled her eyes talked about our table with me able to see her, and threw the plate down at the table. She would leave and not return for ever. I do have to say that the Manager did handle the situation well( I believe his name was Jay) and another waiter helped out too. Because of that I will try out one more time.

Very good came here to sit on deck but told we couldn't sit there not enough servers? I would think on Saturday night they would have the deck open. Food very good!

I'm not really a big fan of Logan's. I do give them props for really good rolls, but that's about it! The lettuce in the salads tends to be wilted from having dressing on it too long, macaroni and cheese is bland and kind of watery, wings and ribs are both very fatty. I'm glad Longhorn Steakhouse has opened up in Manassas as a much better alternative!

A trip to this place last weekend after the International Auto Show, when we had the brief snow storm was a success. We arrived late and the place was actually closing early because of the weather. Although clean up was in full effect and the other guests were pretty much paying out, our service was excellent. Tracy did a great job, providing us with everything we needed while smiling and having a professional attitude. This chain is one of a few that offers the Fried Mushrooms on their menu. Those things are awesome. Hot as hell and very juicy, served with a horseradish-like mayo dip. Our entrees were all steaks, of course. The Onion Brewski Sirloin was nice. Covered in fried and sauteed onions. Delicious. The 18 oz NY Strip is a big piece of meat, no doubt. It was very good. Well seasoned and some of that grill char adding great flavor. Just the way I like it. The same goes for the 20oz Ribeye. How can one go wrong with steaks that size? Our meals came with sweet potatoes which were burnt on the outside. Never the less, the flesh was very good and did not ruin the dining experience for us. We also got dinner salads. Nothing to report there, just normal, uneventful salads. The free bread was fresh and hot. The beers came quickly and were cold. So yes, all in all a great night at Logan's.

Like others have said, it used to be good. Last time I went and liked it was in 2008, always a wait at dinnertime and so I thought the food must be excellent. Tried some, and it was pretty good. Waited a while and went back this past Saturday (4/10/10). It was horrible. Everything was bathed in butter or 100% salt. The waitress was very polite but I had to tell her that the home made potato chips were so salty that they made my eyes water. I ordered shrimp, on the menu it said they were large shrimp but when they came, they were no bigger than ones I could get myself at the supermarket. The vegetables I ordered on the side were slathered in some butter-pepper sauce, which made them taste like a tub of Margarine. It was horrible. My husband's meal was also a huge salt feast too. His baked potato (although he asked for it with no salt) came with salt on the skins and on top of the fixings. The food was completely mediocre, way too salty, and we didn't even want to look at the dessert menu, just wanted to get out of there. We won't be going back now. BLECH!!!

All around good place to get a steak. I got a ribeye (normally I get the NY Strip) and I am glad I did. It was cooked to perfection and tasted great. I also really enjoy their fries. I will definitely be going back again.

I've had many things off the menu here and the steaks are pretty consistently good. The chicken wings have been undercooked on more than one occasion and management is quick to give out freebies upon complaints. Service seems to be hit or miss depending on your server. My wife hates this place but I still consider it a great inexpensive place to get a steak.

I had to change my review after two more horrible visits. The wait staff is slow, nor knowledgeable of their menu. The food quality is less than impressive. I am not sure why they changed so many things. But it is for the worst.

I LOVE this place! We live close by and go once a week. The food is outstanding, only occasionally is our steak under or over cooked. I think that's the case with about anywhere. They have delicious rolls & sweet tea made just right. The staff & managers are very nice.

Horrible place....the service is horrible too many staff hanging around without any attention to customers.....I went with my son who loves sitting outside to watch the geese we had been sitting for 20 minutes before the waitress noticed our presence. No, they were not busy as you might think they were just starting to get their customers for dinner time. Anyway, I only like the view there and the service is so poor as I initially was told that I could not sit outside due to the limited number of waiters so I was livid because of the treatment I had even though people were still offered tables outside till the manager came apologizing to me and had me sit outside. Then the amount of time I had to wait for service was horrible. The food was not bad but what is the point when my blood pressure went up to the ceiling. Lastly, the waitress added to my charges Mac and Cheese which I had orderd but was never brought to my son!! so I ended up waiting for a while waiting for the waitress who seemed unorganized to resolve the issue......I had to leave her a tip just for being nice but the whole entire restaurant is a big mess despite the wonderful location .....never and never again will go back.

My absolute favorite place to eat!! The bread is the best ever! Better than anywhere else I've been.. & on Mondays & Tuesdays they have the 2 entrees for 14.99 or 2 entrees & 1 dessert for 19.99, Great Deal!!! It gets crowded on those nights or on the weekends, but that's like any good resturant you go to.

It was a long day of wating for the furniture to be delivered to my parents yesterday. It was 7:30p when the dining room set was delivered. By that time we were famished!! It's been a while since I've been to Logan's Roadhouse. Logan's has a great variety. What's even better is that you get 2 sides with your meal. I had the sirloin with shrimp scampi, and my 2 sides of veggie skewer and house salad. Both the steak and shrimp were juicy and delicous. My parents celebrated their 37th anniversary on Friday, so the Logan staff had the patrons embarassas my parents by shouting a loud Logan "yee haw". For dessert we ordered 3 "mini buckets". One bucket was a sundae with peanut butter. Too rich. The second bucket was brownie sundae. Mmmm...hit the spot. My mom ate the strawberry cheesecake, which looked tasty. I'm keeping all 3 buckets to stick random stuff in. Overall, good food and great service. Note: there is a smoking section, which I smelled as soon as I walked into the restaurant, but i didn't notice when I was seated in the non-smoking section. Good to know if you're a smoker or not.

The best steaks in town. On a nice day you can sit out on the patio and I highly recommend the New York Strip, blackened with loaded mashed potatoes, and onion peels.

I usually love Logan's at other locations, but I have to say I had the worst experience ever at the Manassas Logan's. I got Filet Mignon because that is my favorite cut and I regretted it. It was way over seasoned with pepper and even the kabob was over seasoned. I ordered mashed potatoes with cheese and it consisted of mashed potatoes with cold shredded cheese thrown on top of it. Additionally, our server was not the greatest. She let all of the dirty dishes pile up on our table and when we asked her to remove them, she told us to just throw them on the table next to us. Absolutely ridiculous!!! I have no desire to go back, this location ruined Logan's name!

I've been here twice and had one good experience and one bad. Dinner, solo at the bar. Got a great sirloin, big pile of sauteed mushrooms and a caesar salad. The food was great. Not a huge fan of all the smoke at the bar, but the food totally made up for it. Good service from the bar staff for both food and keeping my beer full. And, my steak was cooked perfectly medium-rare (bloody but not cold). Lunch with coworkers. Got a steak, mashed potatos & mac n cheese. The steak was WAY over cooked, the mashed potatos and gravy weren't very good and the mac n cheese was terrible. We asked our server for separate checks and he made a point of sharing with us what a pain in the ace it would be and that we would have to be very patient. No prob, we weren't in a hurry. But, most of the lunches were bad and he waited until everyone had finished their meal to even begin running the checks. He was pretty rude overall, but when he finally had the pile of checks and was on his way back to the table, he dropped them (obviously knocking them out of order) and rather than letting us figure them out, threw them all in the trash and proceeded to reprint all the checks. Then, as he passed out the checks, he told us that he didn't include any of the drinks on our bill, because it would have been too difficult for him to figure out what everyone ordered. So, I guess the moral of my story is, head over to this place if you are solo or a very small table of no more than 4. Big groups get bad waiters and bad food.

My first visit to Logan's was great! My family and friend went there for dinner and didn't even have to wait to be seated. I had the potato soup and it was pretty good. My friend had the ribs and they were fabulous. They came right off the bone. Yummy! My kids liked their chicken strips and my husband said his steak was better than other steaks he's had around here. Our waitress was fun and attentive to our needs the entire night. She even got the manager to give us a fee entree for our next visit. I would definitely go their again.

Very nice. Enjoyed the nachos a lot! Service is fast, but when it's crowded....service is very slow. The food was great. Except the seafoods. The steaks age OK. I enjoyed the ribs a lot. I've been to better restaurants, so I'm going to rate this a 4.

This place used to be one of our favorites, but sadly has gone to pot. We went for dinner tonight, and had to wait over an hour and 15min to get our food. Once we did get it, everything was wrong! We all ordered the same, yet one of our steaks was twice as big as another. I'd ordered medium rare...somehow, part was medium-well, part medium, and a bit medium-rare. The other steaks were equally screwed up. Food was even missing (how can you not notice sides weren't there???) Everyone around us was getting their food, but we just kept being told that ours was coming and they were backed up. My husband ended up late for work (we'd planned plenty of time, but had to wait so long that was shot to all heck). He had to rush out, without even getting a full meal, because they forgot his sides. We asked to speak to the manager, who the waitress tried to get three times, but he never deigned to stop by and speak to us. They did comp the meal, but it took another 45 min. after we finished to actually be told this and that we could leave! Which then screwed up the rest of our evening plans. On the way out, we stopped at the restrooms....big mistake...so gross that our badly cooked, not-how-we-ordered-it food almost made a reappearance. Needless to say, we will not be going back!!!

I really enjoyed my 3 wing appetizer - which included these smoked barbecued wings which were FABULOUS! I liked the steak, but not enough to rant and rave about! What I really don't like about this place is the peanut shells all over the place! Drives me nuts! Plus, it really limits my family because of my peanut-allergic nephew who would not be able to enjoy this restaurant.

I have been here several times and experienced the good and the bad. The Good: - Even if there is a wait, you will be seated fairly quickly - free peanuts and rolls - sides are consistently good - servers have always been on the ball - nice spread out layout - Dad got his meal comped without asking when they gave him a strip instead of a ribeye The Bad: - My friend was not comped anything when there was a hair cooked into her steak - the steaks are hit or miss, sometimes they are great, others they are cooked wrong or the meat is a little tough. I stick to smaller cuts like 8oz sirloin because they tend to come out better - sometimes it can take a while for your meal to come out Overall, I have had more good experiences than bad, and you get your money's worth I feel. If you are looking for a good strip or ribeye, go to Longhorn or Outback, for sirloin or grilled chicken this will do.

Nothing short of the worst Logan's I have ever been to. I really would have been happier if I had just thrown $50 on the road. So mad that I even went there. Service was pathetic, food presentation was unclean and unorganized, and the cleanliness of the place made my bathroom look like a luxury diner. This was the second time I was there. Went three years ago and it was terrible, but thought it was just one of those bad experiences. First time is on me. Second suck-ass time is on you Logan's. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Was a huge fan of the chicken sandwich and 22oz beers, but last time I ate a steak here I got food poisoning. I don't mind paying more elsewhere for a better tasting steak that won't get me sick!

Co-workers and I go here for lunch fairly often. Big menu, okay service, decent enough food, not too expensive. Not my favorite steakhouse chain but it's probably the best steakhouse in Manassas. I understand that a Longhorn is being built on Liberia, which I like better. But, overall this isn't a bad option, especially for lunch.

This place started out pretty good but has gone downhill considerably. My family used to go there but we stopped. My work group used to go there but we've stopped. The steaks are pretty mundane and the hot wings are so bad I had to send back my last order and cancelled the order. The rolls are top notch but that's about it with the place.

(4)Debbie S.
(3)Melanie R.
(2)Laurie H.

(4)Colleen B.

(4)Mica V.
Love the mashed potato with gravy there. Also potato soup is not too bad. My fav main dish is rib eyes.
(4)Lynn B.

This place really sucks,it's dirty, bad service is terrible bad and the manager doesn't even know what to do. I'll never eat there.

Low end quality steaks but price accordingly. It's a basic steak place. Very casual atmosphere. Service reasonable.

(1)Melissa K.
All four orders were wrong and cold when we waited for our meal. Steak was overcooked and dry and the steamed broccoli was mushy, so all I ate there was just the bread rolls. I've eaten at this place before but this was unacceptable. They were nice enough to cover the meal, so the manager did right.
(1)Chris W.
The food is very good and the overall value is also outstanding. Staff tries their best to be accommodating. Take out is notoriously brutally slow.
(4)Jim H.

(3)Polly S.
(3)Dennis P.
Food was garbage. Very overcooked and tasteless. Texas Roadhouse is way better! The server was not very attentive and was borderline rude.
(1)Chad F.
I would give a 4 1/2 if I could... I came one tome with an ex 9 years ago and thought it was ok. Moved closer in manassas 3 years ago and been back 4 times. 3/4 I have had good... no, great service. Such a good place for the family too. Juke box anyone?
(4)Nicole S.

Food is alright. Disappointing no more peanut shells on the ground.
(3)Dave J.

We came when they not busy. The food was very good .
(5)James S.
(3)Sharonette F.
I come here often but tonight's service was horrible! Food was cold and it's taking them forever to bring out hot food. Case and point...I'm leaving hungry!
(1)Stephanie D.
(2)Robert R.
Service 6. Value 6.
(2)Victoria R.

(4)John K.
This place is always the same great food and cold beer. We had the steak and lobster tail.
(4)Einahpets G.
(5)Victoria C.
(2)Daniel B.

(4)Jason S.
The food is pretty good here and the service has always been good when. The rolls are my favorite part.
(4)LaDaryl S.
(3)Chelsea A.
"Amazing service every visit. Tonight was exceptional!"
(5)Reshawna L.

(2)Karen B.
Great steaks. Employees need more customer service training. We walked in all the hostess and host walked away and ignored us.We then decided to leave and get curbside instead because the food is really good.
(4)David H.
Just had dinner and like most have stated it's just an average steak house. The waitstaff needs to be more attentive to the customers. The food was just ok.
(3)Carl W.
(4)Mandy S.
(2)Dave M.

(5)Karl B.
My wife and I shared a full rack of baby back ribs. They were much better than we expected. Service was OK. The salted-in-shell peanuts are sometimes under roasted but addictive. The hot buttered rolls they give you are very good.
(3)Ajay U.
(5)Tan T.
Decent food, love the rolls!
(4)Lee Ann M.
(4)Mark S.
(2)Anthony C.
(4)April E.

The yeast rolls are to die for, potato soup excellent and salads fresh.

the food and service were amazing, very welcoming environment with a great view of a pond!

Good food, steaks where cook perfect.

Steak was good. Ribs were mediocre. Was a good place to watch a redskins game.
(3)Bobby J.

Great atmosphere. Steaks are seasoned perfectly, good selection of side items and alcoholic beverages. I love that i can sit outside on the deck overlooking the water!

But, overall this isn't a bad option, especially for lunch.

delicious! service is always great, food is always tasteful and delicious and love the roadhouse feeling been going here for years and never had any problems love this place!

This place started out pretty good but has gone downhill considerably. My family used to go there but we stopped. My work group used to go there but we've stopped. The steaks are pretty mundane and the hot wings are so bad I had to send back my last order and cancelled the order. The rolls are top notch but that's about it with the place.
