See this is my biggest complaint about places that cook and sell food. Consistency! I've been eating out for over 50 years. Everything and everywhere in the world from fast food joints to fine dining. Unfortunately the biggest reason many don't stay in business or have a lot of return customers is the food quality does not stay the same. Ok today after church because I enjoyed Palms Jamaican food last Sunday, I stopped in again today. I ordered the Curried Goat dinner, and 2 beef patties, rice and beans and potato salad for sides. (got my chicken wings from the Chinese place next door) sorry they are bigger and cheaper! Curry goat taste like beef chips with thick whitish looking gravy. Not that rich dark gravy West Indian food usually has. Potato salad last week was great, this week potatoes were hard and undone, it had green peas in it. What? Do they use cream of coconut in the rice and peas cause I didn't taste it. What was the worst was the beef patties. The outside was crunchy and the inside was dried up mush instead of ground beef. There is no way on God's green earth they could have been made on the same day. Yesterday at best. Hmm, another one bites the dust. Guess I'm done with thinking I could have island food in Hampton Va.

I got food from here yesterday. The cook was very customer service oriented. The young teenaged girl working there? Not so much. I ordered the Jerk Chicken (flavorful, but completely dry), Rice and Peas (blah at best), cabbage (phenomenal) and plantains (dry). I was not impressed at all. The prices were decent for the portion size, but who cares if the food isn't good? I will not be returning.
