Ok this is Goochland ! So it should be four stars , but due to the previous review I wanted to be more honest ! I am glad there is place with potential in Goochland . I know all businesses start with the desire to be the next triple d discovery My meal was fish and chips ! Probably not the meal to sample but I was up for the challenge ! I had a baby green salad with a pomegranate vinegarette ! The dressing was excellent , but the salad was gritty ! It's hard to wash all that Sand off! The fish 4 small pieces and not impressive . The fish was tough , it looked liked it was precooked then thrown in the fryer! Greasy ! The fries were hand cut , plenty of them . They were greasy . Fryer was at low temp! I did like the fries . For $13 i think they are hurting for money and crunching portions! That's ok! People from Goichland loves s deal though! The tea was good and service was great with a little to much hon from someone a fifth of my age , but what the heck I take it lol! I will come back , but will get something safe ! I was afraid to try bbq , it rested novice! I could be wrong ! With the beer and some live music it could be doable ! I say try this place ! I would hate to crush the hearts of young aspiring chefs ! Goochland embrace this place! They will get better . Just be honest ! $19.95 for 1/2 lb of fish , fries and a side salad ! Good luck !
