Good food, fresh salad bar & good selection of music that was not too loud! I can't give them five stars because the ladies room was messy.

Save your money. The service is touch and go. The food is only marginal. My wife and I got the Mini's and salad bar. The salad bar isn't what it used to be. They had no fruit and very limited toppings. The mini's were over cooked and lacked the fried onion that they used to put on them. Again, a disappointment. The fries on both of our plates were overcooked and hard. My dad got the vegetable plate. He said he liked that. My mom got the fish taco's. She said she won't get them again. They lacked favor and tasted disgusting. We won't be back. Save your money.

Good food and good service. I come to Ruby Tuesdays because I know what to expect. I never leave disappointed!

I personally enjoy this Ruby Tuesdays. It has been a long time since I ate at one, but when I moved here I have tried them again. Since my first visit to this Ruby Tuesdays, I have been back about 3 times due to the coupons and good food. The food is good and service has always been with a smile. No issues for us and I enjoy how clean it is. If you want to give them a try, setup an email account with them online and you will get at least once coupon a month and it is usually well worth it. $10 off 2 dinner entrees is what I usually get monthly. I love the salmon and my son loves their ribs more than most franchises.

A lot places in the plaza were packed so we wanted something decent but fairly quick. Made the mistake of trying Ruby Tuesdays. Service poor. Maybe brand new server but I would put money on it she is high at the moment. Server could not remember we asked for soda twice. If place was busy, I would understand, but there are only 6 other people i here. Forgot wine, seemed dazed with every question. Could not respond clearly. I upgraded a burger to Prime and so did my daughter. We asked for medium rare. They are frozen patties and were over cooked plus, they are also gray inside. Turning gray because they have been exposed to oxygen which happens when you slack them out a day before! Didn't someone die from a Ruby Tuesday burger years ago? I won't come back. Final note, server brings check and it's all messed up but I just want to leave so give her my card. She brings it back and does not leave a pen to sign. Ask for one, she asks if a crayon would work. Seriously?

What happened to one of my favorite restaurants???! It took a while for us to be seated and there's no one around waiting by the door to meet guests! The server was nowhere in sight most of the time and they weren't even busy! It felt like it's our privilege to be served by her who is not in a mood to work! The food used to be really fresh & delish. My usual fave, New Orleans Seafood didn't taste just like the usual! It tasted like they just sprinkled it with salt and pepper and steamed it! Even the burgers aren't juicy and tasty like before! Needless to say, I won't be back!

Tonight took a chance at getting to go order. I was told 10-15 minutes. It was more like 45 minutes. From the jump they give me the wrong order. Then after that the bartender had no urgency to get my food out. I got salad bar had to ask for romaine lettuce because salad girl said it never on bar. However she was very polite and went to the back to get some. My husband got ribs which were overcooked and l got seafood platter. Food was not great but eatable. I just don't understand why this Ruby Tuesday is so different from the others.

From 2/26/14 visit: Ruby Tuesdays is one of my favorite restaurants. But this particular one is one of the worst I've been to. The food wasn't great, not nearly as good as it usually is elsewhere. And the waiter was horrible! He had 2 maybe 3 other tables besides us, but one of those tables was a group of his friends. So needless to say, we were basically invisible. It took forever to get our food, to get our check and to get our card/receipt back after he processed it. After he processed our card he stopped at the table with his friends and hung with them for about 10 min. Clearly visible to us. And not once did he clear our table either. Disappointing.

Overall I find this location to be mediocre but in Gainesville we do not have a lot of salad options so this has become our go to. In reading other reviews I have to agree that their dishwasher could use some attention to detail - I've sent back lip stained glasses myself. Today, however, I'd say that based in my experience they get just one more shot. First, like many reviews, the service was sub par. We had to ask for water. We wanted to also order cocktails but the water was all the server could handle at once. Maybe 20 minutes in to our visit we finally got to order our cocktails and requested bread - those delicious cheddar biscuits they have. Those took another 20 minutes or so because they were "being made in the kitchen." Strange, we'd arrived around noon on Sunday and were seated right away. Don't you anticipate a Sunday lunch crowd? Regardless it took so long for our cocktails to arrive the rolls seemed to appear shortly thereafter. I ordered salad and was 5th in line. During that time they ran out of 4 things. No attendant was in sight so I mentioned it the host who appeared to be ignoring the salad on purpose while doing nothing at the host stand. I also pointed out the suspicious looking cucumbers. Eventually the salad attendant came out and took away 4 empty trays but didn't refill them for about 10 minutes and then one at a time. I specifically asked about the broccoli salad and she said she needed to make that one. Again it's Sunday lunch - now about 12:40. Why is there no back up? Because my cocktail took so long I switched to beer for my second drink. That took more than 10 minutes and the server was reminded twice. The third time my table mates asked in unison about it while I sat there wishing we were somewhere else. She brought it and then strangely offered me the option of keeping my straw from the cocktail with which to drink my beer. Again I'll try once more but they've go some work to do in order to be even just an adequate salad lunch spot!

I'm giving this place two stars; it doesn't get one because it's not the train wreck that is Penn Station subs in Haymarket, but it wasn't much better...and a lot more expensive. A disinterested waitress, one who forgot my son's soup, was rarely around for refills, and generally did a poor job. A mac and cheese portion was minuscule, a little bigger than a shot glass - when I asked for another one for my son, another $3.95 goes on the bill. Not one sign of a manager the entire time. The salad bar was average at best - about the same quality, variety, and freshness of a chuck e cheese or a Cici's. If you're smart, you'll go to a Red Robin instead of this place; bottomless kids meals, fries, good service, decent prices. Dinner for 5 was 90, without alcohol and nothing too fancy. I won't be back.

The burger was good. My waitress was lovely. The only downside was the odor permeating the place. I wasn't sure if it was from a customer or the sticky, filthy rug. Otherwise a decent experience.

Hadn't been to a RT in a couple of years after a horrible experience. Glad I gave the Gainesville RT a try. Good service and menu has improved a lot. Had a great pretzel burger. Little biscuits they serve are also excellent!

I've always had a soft spot for Ruby Tuesday's. However it had been a while since we had been there. We decided to eat out last Saturday night, and Ruby Tuesday's popped into my head. We arrived at about 6:10. The place was busy, but not so busy that we had to wait. We were seated near the bar. That was fine since there is no smoking in Virginia restaurants anymore. I ordered the sliders and salad bar. My wife had salmon. The salad bar is always one of my favorites. The fellow was out refreshing items on it, every couple of minutes, (I could see the salad bar from my seat). The sliders were tasty, and my wife said the salmon was good. The restroom was clean, the staff was server was pretty good. I left a 20% or so tip. A pleasant experience all around.

After working late today, I decided I was to tired to go home and cook, so I stopped in at the RT's in Gainesville. I've never been to this one before. I've alway's been a big fan of their salad bar. So I went in and originally was going to sit at the Bar and eat - but it was to smoky. So I opted for a table in the non-smoking section of the Dining Room. I ordered the Salad Bar and a Burger. I'm a bit disappointed that over the years, Ruby Tuesday has abandoned the dishes that used an incredibly delicious cajun spice. I used to go and buy 2 lb bags of it from them. I looked over the menu hoping something was cajun-like. I found a Fishburger that was supposely coated in a Creole seasoning. I asked to have my burger cooked with that coating. The salad bar was very good. All of the veggies were very fresh and crispy. I had a salad with a bed of mixed greens, spinach, red onion rings, broccoli, grape tomatoes, garbanzo beans, chopped eggs, shredded carrots, zucchini, black olives, crumbled blue cheese, pine nuts, and a low fat vinaigrette. I ordered the burger medium well. It came with a side of fries. I was disappointed that the burger had no cajun spice-like flavor to it. I am guessing the kitchen did not put the Creole spice on the burger as I requested. The burger itself was cooked perfectly and was tasty, the tomato and lettuce were crisp, and the wheat bun was a perfect compliment. It just wasn't what I was expecting. The fries were nice and crispy. The service was prompt, courteous, and attentive. I'd give them 5 stars if my burger had been blackened with a spice I could taste!

My friends and I decided to try the Ruby Tuesday brunch when the IHOP next door was packed. These family type restaurants usually fail for me so my expectations were low, but I expected something edible at the least. My crabacado omelet was delivered in dry, overcooked-egg-brown. I really hate to send food back to the kitchen so I sawed through the egg and made my best effort to enjoy it. After two wholly unpleasant attempts to swallow the same forkful, I gave up and just ate all of the crabmeat out of the omelet. One of my friends ordered the western omelet without cheese. When she asked about the mystery sauce coating her omelet, our waitress reassured her there was no cheese in the omelet, only a parmesan sauce. The server was oblivious to everything and everyone in the restaurant except for the televangelist on the bar TV and the breakfast that she was eating in the far corner of the restaurant. She stopped by our table three times: once to take our orders, once to deliver the food and once to remove our full plates from the table while dropping off the check. No one will ever convince me to try this again.

My husband and I had a $10 off coupon and no power so we went here. It was busy, but not crazy. We should have just tossed the coupon, this was a bad experience. We observed the guy that replenishes the salad bar with his thumbs in the bowls when he was carrying them to the salad bar. While waiting for our food, we noticed the return air vent over our table was caked with dust. Our food finally came, my husband had the Salmon Florentine with grilled green beans, I got the Chicken Trio. His salmon wasn't bad, but you could tell by looking at the plates, they had sat on the warming table for a while. The beans were cold to the touch and my rice was beginning to dry. I got the smashed cauliflower, it was lukewarm. My husband then dropped something under the table, so we moved it wee bit to see what it was. The filth on the edge of the table and on the wall was disgusting. I couldn't eat another bite. We will not be going back. If you are in this area go to Famous Dave's instead. The service there was impeccable.

Have gone for lunch several times. Food is good quality, service is also good. Our only complaint is that the restaurant has a dirty smell,to,it as soon as you walk in. Hopefully they can take care of this problem.

Tonight, a friend and I ate dinner here. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, which was $7.99, not bad, considering Foster's Grille charges just as much if not more and it's fast food. I've had the burgers here several times and they're usually pretty good, but nothing special. That's the way I feel about this entire restaurant... there are so many restaurants just like it that it's not really anything special. Service is okay, food is okay, but not one of my first picks when dining out.

The service was good at this restaurant and I enjoyed the soup and salad bar. I generally always get the salad bar when I go to RT and I appreciate that they keep it clean and well stocked. You get what you pay for in a salad bar, and this one is worth the money.

I know most people are skeptical with reviews about a chain restaurant, but I have to compliment this Ruby Tuesday. Every time I have come in here, I have gotten terrific service, the food has been cooked right, the salad bar was fresh, and they accepted coupons with no problem. For a chain restaurant, this location does everything the way it should be and for that reason, they seem to remain popular with the locals, since it is usually pretty full.

Went last night as the snow storm was rolling in. We really just wanted a quick bite but something more than fast food. I got the triple prime burger, it hit the spot, fries were kinda bla. Service was good, the host was especially cheerful.

So I took yet another chance on lunch, on the way with a friend we were discussing how we wish and thought it a good idea if they lowered the price of the salad bar, I mean how much lettuce and toppings can one person eat for crying out loud. we get there and have a look at the menu and believe it or not they have raised the price If memory serves me I think it was a $1, so I took a look at the other items and sure enough from what I could tell a lot if not all have been raised now a turkey burger with avocado is almost $10 dollars with tax. No more ruby Tuesdays for me
