Pizza
Pizza is a famous Italian dish savored around the world. The entire credit for the popularity of Pizza in the United States goes to the chain of pizzerias all over the country. While the base and the texture of Pizza remains same across the globe, it's the toppings that differs from country to country. In the United States, you will find the top pizzerias serving pizzas with the toppings of mainly beef, bacon, chicken, ham, and sausage for the non-vegetarians. Other than these famous meat options, Pizzas with veg toppings such as mushrooms, pepperonis, garlic, tomatoes, spinach, etc. are also famous in most restaurants in the United States.
Irrespective of your locality, you will find a variety of different restaurants in your cities offering pizzas of all different types. Pizza is hot favorite among people of all ages in the United States. A large size pizza is enough to feed a family of 3 or 4 at large. Pizza is also the most preferred food whenever a group of friends is hanging out together. Pizza gained popularity in the United States after the American soldiers stationed in Italy returned from World War II.
Over the years, different pizzerias in the United States have developed their own respective regional variations. Pizza gained popularity as the iconic dish in the United States in the second half of the 20th century. Whether you prefer thin or thick crust pizza, you can find a pizza of your preference at the best pizza restaurants in your city.

Always a little quiet when I come in, but that says nothing about the food. The pizza is always hot and perfectly done as well as being really inexpensive. I also love their fried zucchini!

I have been eating Sam's Pizza for many many years...the buy one get one used to be a great deal for big families and parties...it used to be good pizza...not great pizza...this isn't New York...but the pizza is now almost inedible...frozen from the grocery store might be a better option...what the heck happened? Maybe it is just the rt 1 location that is terrible?

I enjoyed Sam's Pizza and Subs! I had delivery and ordered their house specialty and a meat lovers pizza (B1G1free), an Italian sub (that they added turkey too for me), Gyro, cheesecake and the chocolate mouse cake. The food was delivered hot and everything was delicious! I especially enjoyed the pizza crust and the toppings were awesome!! I am ordering from them again!

This place was not very good. I ordered two pizzas and an order of manicotti. The pizza was disgusting; the crust had no flavor other than nearly burnt, and the toppings weren't very good quality. The manicotti was edible, barely. The ricotta filling had no spices, the noodle tubes were too mushy and the meat sauce was greasy and also lacked flavor. The garlic bread that came with the order was part of a sub roll with some garlic salt on it. It also came with a "side salad," which was more of hamburger toppings (read: sliced for sandwiches) in a styrofoam hamburger box. Won't be ordering from this place again. I make an effort to give small, local places business before the national chains, but in this case I'd rather have Pizza Hut. The only thing keeping this from 1 star is the fact there weren't bugs on it and the delivery was quick.

I just had the yuckiest steak and cheese sub of my life here. The deli in my old office building made a better one. My husband got an italian and didn't have any complaints, but I don't know if he tastes his food half the time :) I'll probably try it again and order something else, because they are so close to my house........maybe Ok, so I tried this place again around Labor Day. My husband seemed happy with his italian sub, so I ordered one. Let me say that cheap italian dressing smothered on a sandwich does NOT make an italian sub. Sorry Sam's, gave you two tries, I won't be asking you back out.

Wonderful food, not salty, always fresh, family owned, very genuine restaurant. Best place to get anything close to a real Philly cheese steak. I highly recommend this place.

What a pleasant surprise Sam's is! After passing by this restaurant many times, my wife and I decided to stop in for a late lunch. The ambiance is not much being in an aging strip shopping center, but they were friendly and the service was fast. My wife ordered the Reuben which was served on genuine toasted rye bread. The corned be was tasty and was well-balanced with the sauerkraut and cheese. The sandwich was ample in size although not of New York proportions. It came with French Fries that were well prepared, crisp on the outside, not over salted and tasted like potatoes. I ordered what amounted to a steak and cheese with ham sub. It was tasty and large and also came with French Fries. It was better than many steak and cheese sandwiches served in much more expensive restaurants. The food was good even not considering the price, but each lunch was only about $6.50 including fries and drink. A bargain in my book. We will return and try some of the other items on their extensive menu.

I seem to have a problem with the buy one get one free deals on pizza. If I wanted two pizzas than I would order one but what am I going to do with another pizza. How bout I buy a pizza and you feed the other to the homeless shelter?? or better yet make a great quality pizza once and not try to sell pizza solely on quantity and not quality? I don't dislike Sam's if I'm just ordering a hero errrrrr sub. They are actually quite good and seem fresh. I like their fried mushrooms and like most of their hot or cold subs. The pizza quality is not there for me. It's good if you have a large group of people and need some pizza to feed the masses. If your want a great quality pizza than look elsewhere. Grubs ~

Their food is ok and they seem friendly. I may go back or I may not mainly because the food is good but nothing special. You can get a deal on two pizzas and their calzones are good as well. This restaurant is just not my favorite; there are so many other much better places to eat from.

There's alot for a vegetarian to choose from at Sam's. We chose the pizza. Their pizzas are "buy one, get one free", so hubby got one with what HE wanted, and I got one with what I wanted. The pizza was ok. We are still searching for some good thin-crust pizza in these parts. But Sam's was good, for what it was. For an appetizer, I got the Fried Zucchini. They were good as well. Not great, but good. We will keep this place on the list. Next time we order from here we will probably get some type of sammich. Sam's delivers, as well.
