I was not impressed....it's your general run of the mill chinese food.....only not a lot of seasoning and flavor. I can take it or leave it....and right now, I choose to leave it!

Not a horrible place for lunch. But I'm pretty sure the rice was maybe no so fresh, maybe over cooked. Not too sure two large hard lumps of rice that were cold. The orange chicken was ok. I've never been a big fan of places that charge for drink refills. I guess I understand it but then when your drink comes and it's more ice than drink well it doesn't help either. Again not horrible for less than $10 but the price was reflected in the meal I think.

Really kind of disappointed the last time I was here. As a Chinese restaurant that's been in business for years in the Fredericksburg area, I was hoping it to really deliver since they must be doing something right for staying in business for over 15 years. It has a nice and quaint atmosphere - a real down-to-earth low-key feel to the place. It feels like a family restaurant run by a family. No objections there. I ordered a plate that chicken in it, and for some reason the chicken was crunchy. Mind you, it wasn't the breading on it from being fried. The meat itself was crunchy and/or sinewy. Big disappointment. To be polite, I didn't complain to the waiter as that is how the dish is made... but being covered in sweet sauce that was overly sweet and the chicken itself was crunchy, it didn't make for even close to the best Chinese restaurant in the area. It was edible, but that was just about it. I hate to say anything negative about the restaurant, but to say the least I will not be back unless a friend decides to convince me it's actually a good restaurant and I just happened to get a bad day. Hopefully it was a fluke and not how they regularly serve chicken.

Pretty good food. The staff are friendly and service is good. They do have a weekend buffet that is very good as well. Will certainly go back.

The food is okay, nothing special. Not anything you cannot get everywhere else. But the waitstaff is rude and unfriendly. There are two women that work there, not sure if they are owners or not, but they make it clear that you are bothering them if you ask for something. When I phone in an order, I guess I dont order enough or spend enough cause instead of a thank you after I say that is it, the woman just hangs up on me. These are not isolated incidents, happen many many times. Oh, and here is a good one. Last weekend I went for lunch and had the buffet. I asked what was in one of the dishes because I have a severe allergy to seafood. The woman (yeah, one of the two) told me chicken and beef. I asked "no seafood" adn she said no. I put some on my plate along with some other chicken dishes and sat down and there is a huge shrimp in the center of my plate. When I pointed that out to the woman when she picked up my plate, instead of apologizing for giving me information that could have made me very very sick, she was annoyed cause I did not want to eat the chicken around it. I will never go back.

I played chess with the owner's son in high school and he told me about his father's restaurant. It's been years since high school and I'm still eating here! Fast delivery, reasonably priced, and great food. They'll make you food that isn't on their normal menu; I like the Honey Chicken!
