The Fairfax Deli is located in a medical building, so I am guessing a lot of people miss that is even here. Both my general doctor and my podiatrist are located in this building - so whenever I have a doctor's visit - this is a stop for coffee, bottled water, and/or lunch. After surgery on my foot today, I was relieved that it was over and a sense of hunger washed over me - so it was right into the Deli I went. I ordered the Turkey Club on toasted wheat bread (you get your choice of breads: wheat, rye, white, and one or two others). A couple of nice little Asian ladies are always working in here when I come in. She brought my sandwich out - everything tasted fresh and delicious - the turkey, the lettuce and tomatoes were crisp and slightly chilled, the swiss cheese was sliced razor thin, and the amount of mayo was not overwhelming. The only thing that was disappointing was the midget size of the dill pickle spear. They give you a very small amount of potato chips - so I had also added a small bag of the Utz Salt and Vinegar potato chips. Check this place out for breakfast sandwiches, lunch, soups, salads, coffee, and the like! They are open from 7:00 am to 4:00 pm - M-F.

I enjoyed the manhattan sandwich I ordered from this place -- roast beef, a slice of cheese, mushrooms, and cole slaw which tasted slightly like kimchi. The bread was fresh, the sandwich was tasty, had a bit of a kick, and was a very reasonable $6 (that included chips!!). I give this place 3 stars because it's simply nothing to write home about and their menu leaves something to be desired.

After having lunch a few times and talking to the owner, I decided to order a few platters of sandwiches for my son's 8th birthday party. They were delicious, a big hit with parents and adults, and an extremely economical option, especially given how overpriced and under-satisfying the usual fare of lukewarm pizza is at kids' parties. Chuck made us several platters, some with kid favorites and others for more sophisticated tastes -- adding fresh basil, pickled cabbage, sriracha and other flavorful condiments to more traditional sandwich combinations. Big thanks to Fairfax Deli and I'd definitely recommend them as a catering option for gatherings!
