FORGET IT. This place is the pits. My wife ordered a taco salad, It came and was nothing like anything I ever saw before. It was a slimy mess of ranch sauce in the bottom of the shell. I took one look at it and tried to flag down the non English speaking staff. After 20 minutes I finally got up and lead them over to out table to look at the mess. My shrimp and steak special plate was also uneatable. Shrimp smelled funny and the steak was like shoe leather.. The salad with my meal was a scoop of cold veg-all on the plate. I had to argue with the manager to remove garbage salad from the bill. I total we were there over 90 minutes for a simple road side meal stop. Do Not - I Repeat DO NOT, EVEN THINK ABOUT STOPPING AT THIS SLIMMY TEX MEX PIT.

Stopped on our way through on 95 and liked it. It's tucked in with the Days Inn. Not fancy but good Mexican and fresh guacamole.

Having been to this restaurant a few times during my travels down south, I personally really enjoy the food at this place. The "decor" is MUCH to be desired, but you don't fill up on decor. This food is very much like an authentic Mexican restaurant back at home. Also, the premium margaritas are awesome! Two words: punch bowl. If you're used to taco bell then you won't like it here. If you want tex mex, go to Chilis. If you want good simple Mexican flavors, you won't be disappointed!
