It saddens me to report that this restaurant no longer exists. At least at this location. If the chef has taken up shop elsewhere, please let me know! These stars are for your Peking Duck, an tasty experience for which I have yet to find its equal! For a good couple years my family would go here for any special occasion / any reason to imbibe the table-side carved crispily delicious duck. The plum sauce was thick and flavorful, the leeks light green and carefully cut, and here's the standout: hand-made, fragrantly glutinous pancakes!!! None of that flour tortilla-looking excuse for wrappers! Our encounters with the Duck here inspired my family to try out duck at other places, but they didn't meet the bar that had been set. We even went to "that famous duck place" where all the politicians went to and were underwhelmed. Sauces were runny, leeks carelessly chopped, ducks came unescorted, and those taco wrappers! Dang those white oversized ana-cuisin-ous pancakes! So here is my testimony on and praise to the restaurant which gave us our first and best Peking Duck experience, and the courteous and solicitous waiters and servers who made it easy and enjoyable. Thank you, and I hope you come back!
