Sorry, We are updating this restaurant menu details.

Ordered Primavera Pizza and Greek Salad for take out, LOVED the pizza, all the veggies are so fresh and a great variety. The salad was yummy too! Was surprised with the fresh rolls that came with the salad. A very different pizza place from the rest~ Btw, their calamari is wonderful, generous portions and delightful! Also tried their desserts on subsequent visits, heavenly~

Last time, they had fresh mushrooms; this time I didn't ask and I did not get them. Perhaps, they only have them some days. The mushrooms had no taste and there was almost no sauce on my pizza, just a bunch of cheese. It was also undercooked.

Went with a friend on July 4th, midday. The place was nice and clean, and smelled amazing. The calamari was hands down the best I've ever had from any 5 star restaurant (Forbes rating not Yelp). I did not see beer prices listed so ordering those was a bit more "mysterious" than I would have liked. The staff was possibly a bit bummed about working on the summer holiday but one in particular (shorter, dark hair, acted like management towards other staff) was downright snarky to my friend and I. We kept trying order a pizza with one half pepperoni and jalapeños and the other half pepperoni, sausage, and bell peppers. She kept cutting my friend off as he attempted to order and kept correcting him saying "so you want a pepperoni pizza, half with jalapeños and the other with sausage." He couldn't even get the list of ingredients he wanted BC she kept snapping at him, correcting him before he could get his order out. He was flustered and has a bit of a stutter regardless so I found her rude demeanor highly offensive. Getting glared at when I approached the counter to pick up my order after she yelled it out was not fun either. I didn't understand it bc she delivered pizzas to the other two tables but not ours. My beer was left on the counter as well after taking about 5 mins to make it there. I was stared at until I got up to retrieve it. I wish I had gotten her name but hopefully she will remember this and correct her behavior in the future. Not a good first experience.

The Greek salad is awesome! Calzones, pizza and desserts were great too! We love Tony's!

  • Angela S.

Dropped by here for lunch and was surprised by the selection of by the slice pizza, calzones, Stromboli, bruschetta, and deserts! I originally wanted a hot sub but was swayed by a delicious broccoli, spinach, and ricotta calzone. The service was friendly, food was fast, and frankly have nothing bad to say about Tony's...other than maybe it wouldn't be a dieters best friend :)

Amazing to me this place doesn't have any reviews yet, so let me add one, if you like family run pizza and Classic Italian food. This is your place! They sell pizza by the slice, have tons of options on toppings, and have calzones, Stromboli, chicken rolls and the list goes on. If your in the area, check it out ! Oh, the Calamari is awesome !

Have eaten here many times over the last few years. Usually order a salad , which is always delicious. Have tired other times on the menu and never disappointed. Pizza is great. Food ready in a reasonably amount of time even when packed. Great price too.

Best Pizza in the area hands down! I'm a NYer and it's the closest to a taste of home.

  • John M.

Ordered a specialty pizza that came with three toppings. I swapped one for a different topping and the pizza price went from $13.99 to almost $19. I asked and they said you changed the specialty pizza so it changes to a regular large and adds three toppings at full price. WHAT ? Someone please explain how that makes sense.

I use to go here for pizza all the time, but the last few times the pizza is soggy (oily mush) and not good any more. Its a shame too because this is fixable if management would do its job and spot check food quality.

  • Sara K.

Food is fantastic, however the service from the snotty teenage girls behind the counter makes me not want to eat there again. Luckily, there's carry out! !

Living in New York for the past 13 years, and eating pizza multiple times a week from my neighborhood pizzeria, I can honestly say that this is the closest we have to true NY style pizza anywhere around. Moreover, this location beats the other Tony's locations. The staff here is truly authentic, the place is built upon family and community. I come here after class sometimes and I can't get enough of it! Their plain cheese pizza is great believe it or not. But make sure you also try the rigatoni pie! And stock up on their marinara sauce! Stuff is like gold, you could literally eat it straight!

This has always been one of our go-to places for a fast and cheap dinner on the way home. My favorite is the spinach/broccoli calzone, which has always been good. 4 star good. My only complaint was that the spinach they used was rather tough. We went back today after being out of town for a while and found that they switched to fresh baby spinach. Service is always fast, people are friendly. Desserts are also good. Five stars!

  • Rita P.

Very good food. It's so good it's worth waiting foreverrrrrrr for it! Too bad they don't deliver cause they would get a billion stars!

What more can I say about Tonys pizza! It's amZing and the best pizza in manassas area! The place is always packed but you get your good quick! The food is always on point and the staff is always so nice! It's not unusual the owner will be there working along with everyone else which is awesome! Tonys is a must to eat at!!

  • Marylou P.

Used to be great when it 1st opened, but now seems to be all about volume instead of quality. The Tonys in Manassas still has great NY style pizza.

I love me a good pizza. We gone to the one on Mathis Ave. and u feel like it's always crowded. This one in Bristow, however, is great!!! It's so clean, the wait isn't too bad and the pizza is delicious! The only con I can think of is that I think $5.50 for even one slice is a bit high. Overall, though, great food and atmosphere as well as a friendly wait staff. Would highly recommend.

I have gone to Tony's with my family for years. The food has always been fresh and cooked properly. I love, love their bruschetta and greek salad. We tend to do carry out since it does get packed at times.

There are few places where I feel that they aren't bending you over when it comes to prices. This is one of those places. I feel that you get what you pay for. Never when they say the price do you say, "WHAAT?!" in your head. It makes sense. The food is really good. You can pick up or sit down. I like sitting down there. They always have soccer games going on. For me, I go in get a greek salad, a slice of pizza and a beer - call it a day. Really good. I would say it's worth going to if you are in the area and want to grab a bite.

YUM! Stopped there after rugby practice - SO much better than fast food. Clean establishment, great food, fair prices. Who could ask for more???

This place is seriously overrated. My wife and I checked this place out after we had gotten some recommendations and were not impressed. The pizza was bland, nothing to write home about. Crust tasted like flavorless cardboard. Although the Foccacia pizza was pretty solid. The service was terrible. We called ahead about 30 minutes and still ended up waiting 15 minutes in the store for our order. Turns out, it was on the counter the whole time. The people behind the register couldn't be bothered to check on that, though, until we went up and complained. So now we had cold pizza on top of everything. Should mention that this was on a Sunday afternoon with literally only one other group in the entire store. This place isn't great, but unfortunately there's not much better choices in the area. I think that's why everyone rates this place so highly.

This is the best ny style pizza that i have found. The prices and the food are terrific.

As a New Yorker I truly believe this could be the closest NY pizza in the area! Love adding fried eggplant to the pizza and the veal parm is amazing!!

I was passing through and saw the yelp rating and decided to give this place a try. I was not pleasantly surprised. I ordered an Italian sub and a slice of cheese. The pizza had a pretty good crust but the rest was blasé. The sub was nothing to remember, I've had better ones at Wawa; seriously. I can't complain about the prices, but I guess you get what you pay for. If you have eaten at a Sbarro's then you have eaten here already. I'm sure it's a fine fix for a quick pizza craving, but I wouldn't be in any hurry to dine here again. Service was good and the place was clean.

Tony's was my first pizza order in my new home. If you haven't placed an order here before, it can get confusing when the worker tells you "you're number 76" and then hangs up the phone, lol. That's the number you give them when you get there. Though I was extremely impressed with the Tony's Special pizza, the cheese pizza was just okay. I'll definitely order the Special again. Good pizza, decent prices. Totally worth a try.

New to the area. Saw a pizza place near Harris Teeters. Expected more than was offered. This place seemed like a bug lamp to the crass. Foul language by half the clientele. Daisy dukes and F-u t-shirts on others. Not kid friendly. Paper plates and dirty silverware. Ugh.

  • Amrit S.

This has to be my favorite pizza place in the haymarket area. You get a really authentic italian feel and also they make you feel right at home.

  • Jeramy P.

I would have given this place 2 stars but, the pizza is better the next day cooked in the oven. We ordered a Sicilian pizza, pineapple and Canadian bacon and a half cheese, half banana pepper and bacon. The Sicilian had so much stuff on it the cheese fell off and the bottom of the crust was really soggy. The entire pineapple and Canadian bacon pizza was wet and soggy. So we had a few slices and put it in the fridge. The next day however, once we put it in the oven at 425 the cheese got nice and brown, the veggies had a little crisp to them and the bottom of the crust was nice and crunchy. This is the way that it should have come from them. Maybe next time I should ask for it well done?

Recently moved back to the east coast from Virginia and this was the first restaurant I went to literally within an hour of getting here. Maybe it was that I had been driving for 26 hours with nothing but fast food, but that first time was just incredible. I've been to Tony's several times since then and now have a little different opinion of the place. Don't get me wrong it has a great atmosphere and some of the food is outstanding, but a few things could use some help. I haven't had a lot of the stuff, but I'll go with what I know. I'll make it easier but just listing them as pro's and con's below. PRO'S 1. Tony's white pizza is IMO the best thing they have on the menu. This pizza is probably in my top 3 of all time for white pizza. 2. They have some pretty incredible pepperoni rolls. They don't just put a few slices of pep and a little cheese on them, they are LOADED! 3. Stromboli is really good. Could use a little less spinach and bit more broccoli on the chicken one, but all in all both of the Stromboli's are good. 4. Cannoli's are pretty good at Tony's too. Not the best I've ever had, but good none the less. CON'S 1. I cannot stress this enough. They MUST do something with the sauce. It is the most bland, tasteless, watery sauce I have ever had. 2. Subs need a lot more meat on them and I mean this across the board. All of the subs seem light on meat. 3. Fried ravioli is much like the sauce. Pretty bland and not much taste (at least they aren't watery!). 4. Fries seem to be kinda hit or miss. Sometimes good, most times cold and over cooked. I've gone back and forth here with how many stars to give them and settled on the three. Obviously lots of people love the place cause it's usually quite packed at lunch and dinner time, but I think they need a little help in a few areas. With just a few tweaks this place could be really great in my book.

I wanted to like the pizza here, but I just wasn't impressed. The size and price were fine, but the quality just wasn't there for me. The crust was too thick to be a proper NY style, and I think the oven wasn't quite hot enough, so the bottom was tough to cut through, but not crusty/crunchy either. The Tony's Special toppings were fine, and generously portioned, but any time a pizza place uses canned mushrooms I am disappointed; fresh mushrooms keep perfectly well in a walk-in cooler, so there's really no excuse for using the mushy canned style.

  • Rebecca W.

My rating is kind of a combo of convenience and affinity for how much like family the owners and place have become. We live right down the street so it's wicked convenient and when you don't feel like cooking or just want to grab a slice, it's definitely our go-to joint. I admit, the sauce leaves something to be desired (flavor wise) but I really love their pizza and bruschetta. Hubby loves his specialty created ideas that he brought home from NY where he's from; he makes friends with everybody and that's proven to be helpful with these guys. They're not mean or rude, they're just 'them' which I'm guessing most Sicilians and Italians are like that....the ones I've met anyway. The Greek salad is never disappointing and I always get the bruschetta no matter whatelse I order. It's a great place to eat and mingle with your friends/neighbors, spacing could be bigger but hey....it's a popular place so it is what it is. Prices are definitely reasonable and the service is prefectly fine IMHO.

Weekly visit in our household. Love the entire menu.

  • T B.

Love it! The food has never disappointed--Cheesesteaks, pizza, fries, salads.. It's impossible to get tired of the food here because there are so many options all at a reasonable price. Service is always good and so is the food. Highly recommended! Cheesesteaks at Tony's are definitely better than the supposedly world famous Genos and Pats in Philly...so don't waste a trip if you're ever up there.

I have had Tony's 3 times now and I have been pleased every time. The food is good and I have never had a complaint. Although the food is good, this review is more for the service. I went to Tony's last week for pizza but while I was there I couldn't help but ask if they made Arancini (a ball of rice with meat, cheese, sauce, sometimes peas, and lightly breaded and fried). The manager stated that they did not, but that he knew how to make them and he would for me. I thanked him profusely, gave him my name and number and stated that I would be back the next day to get them. I went back the next day and sure enough, they had arancini! I was amazed that this small business was willing and able to fullfill a special request for me. Its things like this that will make me a life long fan of this establishment!

The eggplant parm is the best. They give a big portion & the eggplant is perfect!

I recommend the manicotti. Best i have ever tasted and i've.tried many Italian restaurants. Anything you order here will be good from the pizza to the salad. The same chain as the Tony's near Peeble's in Manassas. Glad to see them expanding.

  • Erin M.

Food is good but their personal and customer service sucks. You can stand there forever before someone helps you and they are rude on the phone. I avoid it just to avoid them.

Came again recently after not having been in a while & think things have gone downhill. We used to come fairly often, but probably more out of convenience than loving it. Had the Greek salad which is pretty good with big chunks of feta & decent tomatoes although it doesn't need the mediocre bread with it, also had a slice of veggie pizza & I was really disappointed that the mushrooms, olives & pineapple were obviously canned and then worst of all there was no cheese on top of the veggies whatsoever!! It was like they just do their slices the most lazy way ever, have premade cheese pizzas, slop on whatever toppings people order & heat up in oven, don't even take the time to sprinkle cheese on top. Disgraceful & ummm, sorry but New York pizza it's NOT. Oh & don't even get me started on their horrible service "system", order food at counter, wait for number to be called multiple times for drinks, salads, main courses, not ever in correct order & go up multiple times to ask about forgotten items. What if you need a drink refill or something else?? Easy, just wait at the counter between people ordering & people picking up food. The absolute definition of clusterf**k. Went to haymarket location & it was the same horrible system. At least they're saving money on not having waitresses. All in all, if you go during a not busy time, for mediocre food it's ok.

  • Bill M.

Food was great . The eat in experience is not so good, its kind of a take out place and you have to keep going to counter? Silverware is under tv in corner. They keep yelling out numbers here so it is not the kind of place to carry on a conversation . If they ever opened a restaurant it would probably be good. This place is trying to be both?

My family loves Tony's NY Pizza. It doesn't hurt that there are so few places to go get something to eat in the Bristow/Nokesville area either. The quality of the food is excellent for the price. Eating out at Tony's cost's us less than it does at many fast food places. I enjoy the meat stromboli. The marinara sauce in nice. You have to be kind of careful of the cheese. It is so plentiful and thick, that it would be easy to choke on it. I've had other menu items, but I come back to this. I also should mention that the quality of the vegetables that Tony's uses is very high. The sit down area is in my opinion too small, and it is awkwardly laid out. We had hoped that Tony's would take over some of the space that opened up when Pickle Bob's shut down, but that didn't happen. I do understand the comments about the service. I've never spoken to anybody working there, who came across as particularly friendly. However nobody's been rude either. Mostly the staff seem busy, getting the food ready to go. I have no problem with that.

Grew up in NY. A good slice cost a quarter when I was a kid. You never forget what real pizza tastes like when you lived on it as your primary food group throughout your youth. Great pizza comes in many forms. It's all a matter if taste. I'm partial to New York thin crust, but the best pizza I ever had was from Frank Pepe coal fired in New Haven. You wait in line two hours and its been around since 1923. Which brings us to Tony's. Very good crust, average pizza. It's missing the full rich now complex range of herbs and spices the best New York pizza has. Thought it to be bland. I think it deserves a second shot because the crust was spot on good.

Our go to spot for good pizza in Bristow. Pizza, calzone and greek salads.

  • Dbigdog R.

In a pinch when scrambling for something for dinner, this is the place I like to go. Especially on my way home after a round of golf. Good salads, the spicy peppers and sausage is ok, but in my opinion the sausage could be spicer. But be prepared to wait a long time, even if call the order in, it is very slow.

It's your typical joint, but my family keeps on coming back. It's very convenient, only about 1 or 2 minutes away from our house, and we always ate at the one in Manassas before this one opened. I do really like this place, but I think the Manassas location has better pizza. Of course, we can all say that you can't compare this to actual New York pizza - the real deal. My family eats here whenever my mom doesn't feel like cooking - which is usually one or two times a month. The pizza is great for New York pizza that isn't from NY, but we've only had one problem that usually always happens. Since it's always so crowded, the workers are usually in a rush to get your pizza done. That usually means it's a bit undercooked. It's not that big of a deal, but our only problem is the cheese slides off the pizza VERY easily, which, as we all can guess, can get really annoying. BUT, we keep on coming back, since our takeout is either Tony's or the newer Pizza Margarita, which, is also NY pizza and maybe even better then Tony's. It's either that or Pizza Hut, Domino's, or your average delivery pizza, which my family tries to stay away from, since it's not always that great of a pizza.

  • Melissa R.

Normally this place is great. We have been frequent patrons of Tony's for years. This location was great up until the past few months. It seems there has been a change in management and that has transcended into poor service and terrible quality and food control. The food just isn't up to par. My husband ordered a steak and cheese and there was only meat on half of the sandwich and the bread was stale. I ordered the egg plant which I lived off of during my pregnancy. It barely had on sauce on it. I really hope it gets better or else I'm going tonhave to stop going there.

    (2)
  • Boone D.

Decent pizza, and one of the only options in the immediate area. I wish they delivered. The pizza is pretty good, but other menu items are just decent. I feel like sometimes the pizza is slightly undercooked and the crust was a little softish. Maybe some people like it that way? We have both dined in and carried out. It always seems to by busy any time of day. Prices are normal.

    (3)
  • Dynamic Du O.

Great food, good prices. The service, ehh. The people who work here, including the owner are not friendly at all, I think they're trying to be "New Yorkers" and giving everyone that "my pizza no stink" attitude. Anywho, the pizza is great and that's why we come here.

    (4)
  • Vanessa P.

ALWAYS busy. I don't know why but the pizza and birch beer from this location always upset my stomach. I'd still recommend the pizza and birch beer, along with the calzone and the focaccia bread. The 4-stars is because the most of the staff isn't as friendly as they are at the other locations and the lay out of the restaurant is kind of awkward... it's a little bit of a pain in the butt to sit along the long side of the wall and maneuver around that area..

    (4)
  • Karen W.

Great pizza, Great Strombolis. A little slow with getting phone orders out on Saturday but I do undertand that they were busy. I read a previous post/review who said that this place was racist so I was hestitant and very aware of the service that I received. Everything was positive with my two visits. Plus half of the kitchen is hispanic and the patrons were of all races so I think that it may have been maybe a bad day on either the patron or store's part. Try it out. Everything is really good there.

  • Lisa J.

I really like this place! The ambiance is ok, but the bruschetta and artichoke salad are a-mazing. My kids like the bacon deep dish pizza. I've had the thin crust before, and it is nothing to write home about. There is such a variety of foods that you don't see every day. Definitely worth a visit!

    (4)
  • Laurie R.

Superior to Manassas location. I love the marinara sauce that came with the slice of pizza. The crust I chose was thick and chewy....yum! Manassas forgot the sauce, and gave me the slice I inquired about, not the one I ordered. May have been a language barrier. This location was my first experience, and I will make a point to only go here. They have a lot of slices available that they heat up, you don't have to wait to have a whole pizza made, and everyone in your party can have the one they like.

Everyone I know loves this place. I guess it is okay...but don't love it more than four stars. The portions are huge so plan on leftovers for later! They have pizza, calzones, Italian entrees, and more!

Spent some time out in the area from Chicago and I was pretty impressed. I'm a big pizza snob and did not expect to have decent let-alone really good pizza while I was in NOVA and boy was I wrong. I had a slice of the Scicilian (square shaped) cheese pizza and it was great! The crust was crisp on th bottom but chewy in the middle. Everything else there looked pretty good but I didn't have the time to try other things. I look forward to trying this place again next time in the NOVA area.

Great pizza! Also definitely try the Rustica. Delicious calamari and marinara, perfectly cooked. The Greek salad is delicious! I used to visit the Manassas location a lot so having one around the corner is absolutely great.

We order from Tony's usually once or twice a month. The food is pretty standard but we enjoy the calamari and salads the best. Great meal if you're not in the mood to cook.

Grazie! Thank you to the mom and pop Tony's NY Pizza shop for opening up a location in Bristow, near my work. Even though they are a chain, they successfully carried on the mom and pop feel of the store. The staff is friendly and the manager is always involved and personable. The pizza is fantastic and generous in its servings -- I just had half of a medium pizza, definitely in food coma writing this review. Also, the steak and cheese is the best around the Manassas area by far. I'm definitely a fan, five stars!

  • Jenny M.

My husband and I have been eating at Tony's for years. Tony even knows my husband by name because we eat there so much. We used to go to the one on Sudley Manor, but now live closer to this location. We love the ham and pepperoni calzones and our daughter loves the cheese pizza. The food is priced right too. We can all eat for around $14 which is about what you would pay for fast food. I definitely recommend trying Tony's if you haven't before- you won't be disappointed!

  • Kevin M.

Sorry to say it took me almost a year of living here before I tried this place. The pizza is awesome. The ingredients are all delicious and fresh. Needless to say, it will not take me a year to return to this place. Probably won't take much more than a week...Tops!!

Consistently good takeout food and service. Quick service too if you call in first (15-20 minutes), even during crowded times.

Can you say RACIST..... There is a nasty vibe in this location. I felt like Blacks were not welcome from the time I entered the store. The discussion came up with parents at my daughter's school. Needless to say, I'm not the only african American that felt unwelcome here.

  • Hina A.

The food is great, the wait time was more than reasonable, but more than anything, the staff are great! Vinnie, who manages this story is just a complete doll. They care about their customers and want to make sure your experiences are good. A rare thing to find a fair company these days, and a restaurant no less. A great place at a great price!

This Tony's suffers from comparison to the other two Tony's. Still very good, but a step below the rest.

  • Natalie B.

This place is always packed. Love it! The pizza, calzones and subs are great-- haven't tried much else because every time I go back, the stuff I had before is so good, I don't want anything else! Call ahead, or go when you're not in a rush. Since it's packed, you'll have to wait for your food.

    (5)
  • Kevin H.

There aren't enough good things I can say about this place. The staff is friendly. The service is speedy. And the food is wonderful. Always fresh, and never the "been under heat lamp all day" taste. Subs are great. And this is the only pizza that I actual enjoy the plain cheese variety. I think the only negative thing I can think of is that the place can get fairly crowded on some nights.

    (5)
  • Jim L.

This place is owned and operated by the same people that run the Mathis Ave Tony's. As usual, its the best in the area without question. Friendly, customer oriented, always makes it right for the customer! Try the zitti pie, calamari, calzones and strombolis you can't go wrong.

Tony is a great place to go a get a quick bite to eat. I like the fact that you can order pizza by the slice. It's that or the meat Stromboli. The Stromboli's are huge and I always have leftovers. Great place to take your kids.

I've never seen the problem listed by the one reviewer. Might have been him with the problem. Good pizza and always good service. I only get the pzza which is excellent but everyone in my group always love the salads and other foods they purchase. Have been to all of the Tony's more times than I can count.

I was born and rasied in The Bronx, NY (most of family is still there). Tony's is by far the closest you're going to get to real NY pizza. I've lived all over NOVA, MD and Boston and Tony's is the only place that has gotten it right. They dispell the myth that you can't make good pizza outside of NY b/c the secret to NY pizza is NY water. That's just not true. The problem w/ other so called NY pizza places is that they use inferior ingredients and cook their pizza on screens, not directly on the bottom of the oven. You'd be surprised to know the role the actual pizza oven plays in the production of great pizza. Tony's crust is thin, crispy, slightly chared on the bottom and almost cracks when fold it. Those that get turned off by the "oil" pooling on the pizza should know that, that's from the cheese. On any given day all over NYC you'll find people dabbing their pizzas to remove the excess oil, but, that's not a sign of cheap ingredients or a bad pizza. Their prices are lower than other local pizza places $4 for a calzone you just can't beat that. A family of 5 can order a large cheese pie, fries, and drinks and leave spending under $22, great value.

Pizza is awesome. On par with pizza from NY if not better.

I live right around the corner and come here a couple of times a week. The caprice pizza (tomatoes, spinach, and mozzarella) is delicious and I add chicken to it. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and provide top notch service. If you're in the area then this is the Italian/pizza restaurant to go to.

Not so sure if these are the same guys in Manassas, but I'm going to say so, considering the menu is identical and so is the ambiance. I have eaten at this location three times, and each time has yet to disappoint. The food portions are enormous and the NY ambiance is quite, well, you see it. Their unique pies are something to admire. The creativity of their craft makes for a unique experience like no other, other than when I'm back in New Jersey. Its a delightful feel that brings people back because when you eat here, you really are family (sorry Olive Garden). This location or the Mathis Ave. location in Manassas definitely hits the spot. Recommend either one.

I stopped by for take out one evening. They were VERY busy, which is usually a good sign. I had ordered a salad, eggplant parm sub, and a cannoli (leave the gun....take the cannoli).....I called ahead, so, it was only 5 min or so until my order was ready. I took it all home to enjoy. It's about a 10 min drive. (I should point out that I have always enjoyed tony's in fair lakes, and tony's in haymarket....assuming they are affiliated somehow, which I think they are). The salad was great - all very fresh and crispy - and not all wet - that's the worst. Good italian dressing. I enjoyed it. I judge most italian places on the quality of their eggplant parm (usually entree, but a sub will do). What a disappointment. The best description I can come up with is "glop" There was nothing that in any way could remotely be considered crispy on this thing. The bread was mushy, the eggplant itself was mushy and disintegrating. The sauce was tasty, and the cheese was fine. I understand that anything fried like that doesn't travel well - I've accounted for that. And still - ick. It really turned me off to the whole place. If I had to guess, it seemed like it had been sitting in a steam table until someone ordered it. I'd have gladly waited 10-15 min extra for something that had been fried and assembled freshly for me. At some point I'll probably go back and try other things. But that last experience has turned me off to that location for a while. (the cannoli was tasty - not too sweet - crispy. just right)

Went here for dinner tonight. Italian sub was the blandest one I have every had. The roll was horrible, as well. Good subs have good rolls. This one failed miserably. The plain pizza was extremely bland, as well. Good dough, but horribly bland sauce. I don't know how they get their high rating.

So so pastas for the prices charged. They need more meat and sometimes the marinara or other types of sauces are seriously lacking flavor.

Came here for lunch on a sunday around 2ish and it was some what packed. We ordered a steak and cheese sub, spinach and broccoli calazone, a slice of broccoli and chicken pizza and a slice of cheese pizza on a thicker crust. Pizzas are already made and cooked, so all they are doing is just reheating it, which takes about 10-15 mins depending on how busy they are. My broccoli and chicken pizza was paper thin till you get one inch towards the crust. The topping and sauce was fantastic, so other than that paper thin part, it's not bad. Paper thin and soggy pizza could only mean they stretched out the dough too much. I took a bite of the steak and cheese sub and that was good too. The calazone however was different, the bottom of the cal was greasy and soggy. The dome of the calazone is only for presentation in my opinion. The dome is crunchy and Breadless, I litterly picked out the broccoli in the calazone and threw the rest away. I would stay away from their calazones, stick to their pizzas and subs.

Oh my....the best gluten free pizza I have ever had period. Crispy but not burnt. Thickness just right. Close to the real thing and that is saying something.

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
