Crazy find in little Ashland! Foods was fabulous and now serves as our go to lunch spot!

We spent an afternoon checking out Ashland recently (cute town!) and stopped into Suzanne's for lunch. There's a large selection of food, with numerous salads and sweets on display in the case. The ordering system was a bit confusing and seemed to take awhile as one person handled one individual order at a time. Once we all had our food though, it was worth the wait. I tried the sun-dried tomato and bacon quiche. The quiche was loaded with filling. I really enjoyed just how much bacon and tomato was in the quiche but by the time I neared the end of the well portioned slice, I was getting a little overwhelmed by the sun-dried tomatoes. My husband ordered the Cordon Bleu special and enjoyed it. It was a large sandwich and he ended up taking half home. The deviled eggs were really, really good. Maybe some of the best I've ever had. We were too stuffed for sweets and fortunately at around 2pm on a Saturday, the case of sweets was nearly sold out. I will definitely return to Suzanne's next time we're in the Ashland area. There were so many tempting salads and treats to try that it warrants multiple visits!

Really good food here and a great local feel. The only down fall is that it takes forever. But it is much worth the wait.

NOTE: IT'S AT 102 NORTH RAILROAD AVE, NOT SOUTH!!! (I got lost and had to call them)...right next door to the Ashland Coffee & Tea Co. Delicious food and friendly staff...5 stars. Only reason I'm giving it 4 stars is because very small portions. I mean, the $6.95 sandwich is about a 3 inch square. It's like a dinner roll. Homemade fresh out of the oven roll, delicious. But a man could easily eat 2! Has the black forest ham on a roll, with a side of deviled eggs (3 halves). Took home 2 extremely large sugar cookies for the kids which were $1.45 each. I'll definitely go back. It's all about the quality, not quantity.

I've been going to Homemades By Suzanne for years. The food is superb, the people there are so nice and such hard workers. There is a reason they have been in business for as long as they have. And that's because it is good quality food and great service!

Had time to walk around and this was the place for lunch. Very fresh food made in front you. We where able to set out front and eat while the train rolled by. DON'T forget the pie. Yummmmmmy

I used to work here during high school and, almost 15 years later, it's still my favorite place to eat. When I come home from out of state, it's at the top of the list of places to visit.

I came here with a co-worker recently and was pleased with the food. The food is what you would find if you go to your favorite auntie's house who can throw down in the kitchen. I ordered a turkey sandwich with swiss cheese, lettuce and tomato, potato salad, and a blondie. The turkey sandwich was good and they prepared it to my liking. The potato salad was just ok. I think it's because I like my potato salad to be a bit more mayonnaise-y instead of mustard-y. The blondie was good and hit the spot. I would definitely order this meal again. It can get quite busy around lunch time though and sometimes there is a line that runs around the corner and close to the entrance, but don't let that deter you. The line moves quickly. The food is reasonably priced too. I would give this place 5 stars, if they were open longer, but I can't. However, I will continue to have this place on my list of places to go to for lunch.

In a trip to Ashland last week, we were looking for a place to stop over for lunch, and after consulting Yelp, we found this nugget to be well reviewed. While it seems like Homemade By Suzanne focuses moreso on Catering, and serves lunch as a side, it does it quite well. Everything there seemed home-made to order, and they had a fantastic selection of custom sandwiches, salads, quiches, and desserts. I had the Tuna, and my Fiancee had the Grilled Chicken; my only disappointment was that we went later in the lunch hour, and they were out of the marble rye. That aside, the quality and freshness of the ingredients were readily apparent and in comparison to their quite reasonable cost made this a delightful little hole in the wall to stop in when you may find yourself in Ashland
