Sushi Noshi is a very authentic sushi restaurant. Their sushi and tempura are fantastic. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki lunchbox which came with miso soup and salad, sushi, tempura, white rice, and Chicken Teriyaki. The teriyaki wasn't the best, but the miso was great. The place is generally quiet and clean. The server I had was very quiet and hard to hear. I know he was trying his best but maybe being a server wasn't a good fit for him. In conclusion, an affordable and tasty sushi place for lunch!

We had the Noshi Love Boat for Two and it was delicious! For only $38, you get a great combo of fish and rolls! The only complaint I have is that the sake is SO expensive. The 300ml bottle of Snow Beauty is $19 - boo! I've been to other places that sell it for $12, so I know it can be bought for cheaper. Sake is my favorite, but finding it in a liquor store is next to impossible. I'll be back for the sushi and service, but I'll opt for a $3 beer instead.

I had heard good things about this place from my co-workers and decided to try it out. It is close to my workplace so went there for lunch. The sushi was so good that it has become my regular work lunch place. I like most of their maki rolls, if its your first time there, I recommend their Rainbow roll. Overall, good sushi and friendly staff.

What a great hidden gem! I do have to admit some skepticism initially on the location, even though my favorite Ford's fish shack is just down the sidewalk. But the food here is just divine. Don't know how I ate Sushi in the Sterling/Reston/Ashburn area before this. I ordered the shrimp tempura and crab rolls. They are on the back side of the menu and 5.50 per six piece roll. They were made perfectly. I truly have no complaints. I am excited to try more of their menu. The atmosphere is quiet, but they play great, varied music.I liked the service because it was respectful, friendly and quick without being rushed. I was also excited that the crab, while not authentic crab meat (imitation) was still very delicious. That's not very common. If you have a choice between here and other larger establishments with more yelp reviews, pick here. You won't regret it!

My like is the service and the food. The staff was very attentive and the sushi was fresh, didn't overload the rolls with too much rice. The spicy tuna was a little mushy but still tasty (I don't like the ground down style, I like a piece of tuna). The special rolls were prepared nicely with good quality fish over the top, no skimping on ration of fish to rice to veggies. My dislike is the strip mall entry and the lighting being too bright. I was there in the evening and the bright lights make it cold, the decor and sushi bar itself are welcoming, but they need to tone it down on the lights.

The sushi was great! I would definitely go back!

First time here and it doesn't disappoint. Great to know that there are other sushi places that has both quality food with reasonable prices. Had the tekkadon and I was satisfied with my portion and quality of fish. The egg omelet however is not tender to the bite, meaning it must be days old and not made fresh. Service is friendly and responsive.

Best sushi in North VA. Took my son there for his birthday and he loved it! Sushi were delicious, great presentation and service. We will be back :)

The reviewers definitely got it right! This place is truly amazing. So many delectable choices - I totally over ordered. And, it was so totally worth it!

We were looking for a good Sushi restaurant to go to while in Northern Virginia, and looking through Yelp, I found this place. Don't let the small space fool you. The atmosphere was very pleasant, and the staff were very attentive. The food taste very good not one complaint. My Terriyaki Salmon was cooked perfectly, very tender. And the Sushi for which we wanted all day was very good. Wish they were in our area.

My boyfriend raved about his takeout chirashi, so we decided to dine in for lunch on a weekday. We ordered a chirashi, nabeyagi udon, and a spicy scallop roll. Apparently, the chirashi wasn't as good as the first time he had it, but it was still good. I thought the tuna pieces were stringy, and the white tuna seemed a little bit off... maybe it was frozen for too long? The other fish pieces were tasty. The udon broth was just okay, and needed lots of adjustments with the soy sauce bottle. The single shrimp tempura that came with it was also just okay. I didn't like the thick breading and I couldn't taste much of the shrimp. The spicy scallop roll was yummy, but not spicy at all. I believe it had more mayo than spice. It also seemed like it wasn't worth the money bc the dressing filler took up half the space; we could tell that they were trying to save their scallops. Oh they played some really great music while we were there.. lots of older songs that make you feel nostalgic, and covers from lesser-known artists. They played David Choi as well. All in all, decent place to get some sushi if in need of a quick fix. I wouldn't get the udon though.

What's not to like? The fish is fresh and very high quality, the staff is courteous and the prices are very reasonable. We shared the love boat, which costs 38 dollars and includes 16 generous pieces of salmon, tuna and yellow tail sashimi, 1 scallop, 8 spicy tuna or salmon rolls, as well as eel, shrimp and various other pieces.

Not the best, but just as good as other sushi places in the area. My husband liked his beef teriyaki a lot and my waxpool roll was really good. The regular rolls like Philadelphia and spicy crab were good but not great. If you go try their special rolls! Also the place was empty on a Saturday night, we were the only two people in there. What?

  • Wendy C.

The shrimp yaki soba is very delicious here - there is a perfect balance between veggies/meat and noodles, and the lunch size is very filling. I will definitely come back next time to try the sushi/ramen!

Sushi was on point!!! Loved it here. Went with a friend at 2:30 and the still served us. Ordered a Kamikaze, Crunchy Crunchy, and Fatty Tuna Service was awesome. My water glass was never empty. She was quick, calm, nice, and attentive. I'm pretty sure even if we weren't the only ones there, she'd still provide good service for everyone. Sushi chef made the rolls and nigiri. It came out in no time. Everything tasted amazing and fresh. I'm definitely going to come back.

Excellent sushi! Highly recommended! I had to come to check this place out after reading the reviews! I am so glad I did! I had the deep fried roll and my wife had the James Bond. Both were very good! Fresh fish, clean restaurant, and fast service.

Whyyyy isn't there an option for half stars D: I would give Sushi Noshi a solid 3.5 stars. Located in a shopping plaza in Ashburn next to the Ice House and Fords Fish Shack...this sushi place is a little hidden gem. The sushi wasn't out of this world amazingggg, but it was pretty damn good. You could tell that the fish was fresh. The staff was extremely friendly. The place itself looked decent. I ordered the Kabuki roll (Eel, crab salad, jalapeno) - I really enjoyed this roll. I loveddd the spiciness and crunch that the jalapeno added to it. I also had the spicy tuna roll - it was mehh. Not bad, not great. Not really spicy actually. Probably wouldn't get it again. My friends ordered the salmon salad, salmon avocado roll, spider roll, and the kamikaze roll. My friend said the salmon salad was reallyyy good and fresh. She killed the entire plate (along with the salmon roll, so you know it must've been good). We also tried the caterpillar roll (they messed up and gave us an extra one) - that was pretty good too...although I didn't like the temperature of it. The shrimp tempure, I'm guessing, was freshly fried...making the rice, eel, and avocado warm too. Not a big fan of warm sushi. I'd come back here to fulfill my sushi cravings since it's super close to me. But it's nothing I would tell my friends, "OMG you HAVE to try this sushi place."

This place has become our favorite sushi spot near work. We've been quite a few times and each experience has been great. Awesome service. Fresh and delicious sushi. It's really a good spot to eat. Since I have been a few times there is something I noticed and would like to point out to management in case they read these reviews. When you enter the front door there is a small sign that has specials written on it. I always breeze right by it. The server never mentions those specials. Unless you stop to read on the way in you won't know what they are. I suggest the server mentions the specials.

Another solid 5* meal. Salmon Special and Toro belly. Side note. I think it's funny when other reviewers order takeout shrimp tempura from a sushi restaurant and dole out one star.

3.5***Came in based on yelp reviews. Came in on a Monday evening, nearly empty with a few takeout orders. Sat at the sushi bar with the hubs. Good service, very quiet sushi chef. We asked for some suggestions, tried the special roll on the board. Ordered the wax pool roll, caterpillar, and udon soup with shrimp. All good except they gave one lonely small piece of shrimp with the soup...oh well, will be back to try the ramen and other rolls.

I'm not a sushi expert but this was great! No complaints. We had the Paradise roll and I think the James Bond roll and both were superb. The presentation was nice as well. Would visit again!

  • Conrad V.

Friendly staff and great service. It was nearly empty and they greeted a few regulars. Quality selections on a sushi sashimi combo. On par with more expensive places. Some of the specialty rolls others got looked tasty. Too bad i couldn't try more. Will be back. Lots of folks stopping in for take out - always a good sign. $$ is accurate as far as price.

Interesting - either I wasn't seeing what was 5-star worthy about this brand-new spot, or there just happen to be a ton of faceless brand-new Yelpers giving this place 5 stars...hmm... Anyway, I agree that there needs to be a true sushi-specific restaurant in this area of Ashburn, and the Ice Rink Plaza in which it is located is now buzzing with cuisines of all kinds, from seafood to Indian to Italian to Tex-Mex to a really good Shell gas station and its snacks. Oh, and a Great Harvest Bread. I don't need to tell you that the sushi chef is famous, he worked at PassionFish and Buddha Bar, the sushi presentation is beautiful and the sashimi cuts are for the most part extremely pleasing. This restaurant is first and foremost an art of rolling sushi restaurant without a doubt. Yes, there are some bento/hibachi style dishes on the menu, but mostly the focus is on what we would call sushi. There are easily some areas for improvement here, which is why my 4 stars are generous. Service was friendly enough, but not very prompt, especially given how empty the restaurant was on a weekday evening. Music - I'm not one to be offended or put off by anything musically, but I have to think that in the family land of Ashburn that it's probably not the best idea for your piped-in music to be uncensored Jay-Z, Macklemore, and whiney Avril Lavigne. Kinda messes with the sushi-zen experience, whether lyrics bother you or not. A small bone to pick with the Seaweeed Salad - it seems huge at first compared to similar restaurants' offerings, but then you realize that it's "padded" on the bottom by a large mound of shredded garnish... I did appreciate that fact that their special rolls menu wasn't inundated with baked/fried/cream cheese/mayo sauce stuff. For me, I prefer more of a "clean eating" style when it comes to sushi, so it was refreshing that some of their "special rolls" were either wrapped in rice paper or cucumber, or had pleasing combinations of fish and seafood and vegetables without the ubiquitous fillers or just slapping some combo of fish on top of a California Roll. We will be back to check out Sushi Noshi's progress, and I think they will do well, since Otani down the street is more of a hibachi-style place, and Wegman's, even though they do pretty good sushi, isn't a sushi restaurant. Let's see what the future holds! And fellow Yelpers, Yelp away!

I went to Sushi Noshi for lunch and I was thoroughly impressed. First walking in, the place was empty at noon, which made me think the food was not going to be great. However, I ordered the Sushi Chirashi, and it was delicious! The fish was fresh and the complimentary miso soup and salad were amazing. It actually worked out great that it was slow, because there was only one sushi chef and I like my food fast. :)

Have come here twice now for lunch during work and really like it. Sushi is well made, service is great, and the prices are very good. I got a lunch "Roll special" that came with tuna, california, and salmon rolls (18 pieces of sushi total), along with miso soup and a salad for $10 before tip. And it tastes quite good. I'll definitely be coming back here when I have a sushi craving!

What a beautiful gem in the middle of Ashburn! I don't know about you, but I always have a hard time finding good Sushi in Loudoun County. Thank god for Sushi Noshi coming to Ashburn. Sushi Noshi is fantastic! The service is amazing and the chef rocks! The James Bond and the Crunchy Crunchy are so delicious!

Great value. I went with 3 co-workers from out of town. We shared a 2 person sushi boat, and 3 additional roles and they threw in 2 extra Miso soups for free. Service was excellent, and all the sushi was fresh and tasty. I shared 2 carafes of sake with my co-worker. Not much else to say. Would return.

My new favorite sushi place! Sushi was delicious and fresh. It was so good, my 7 year old asked if we could come back the next night for dinner and we did. Wasn't crowded, wait staff was extremely pleasant and the place was pretty quiet. So far, we've been there 4 times this month. The one thing that may throw some that are used to "Japanese steak houses" is that they are more on the traditional Japanese food side if you don't like sushi. So they have Soba, Ramen and Udon, no "lo mein" which is Chinese. As for light sauce on the hibachi dinners, they were way too coated with sauce for my liking.

I have to say, I was pretty excited after reading all these good reviews about this place. We ordered a bunch of different stuff. Man, what a disappointment ! Nothing comes close to the other sushi places we go nearby or in DC area. Everything is bland, wasabi has no taste, tempura is horrible and in small portion. The chef's special roll is not that great. I wonder if the people that gave 5 star reviews have been to any decent sushi place. In Ashburn, you can go try "Tokyo Sushi", or "Akira". Both are awesome places.

  • Anhthu P.

I LOVE this place! The sushi is so fresh, and the people who work here are so sweet. My favorite things to get here are the Salmon salad, and spicy salmon roll. Hands down, the best sushi restaurant in Ashburn, highly recommend!

Went here based on a review from a fellow avid Yelper in this area. It was close enough to both my boyfriend & my job. We arrived at noon and were the first to be seated before the lunch rush trickled in. The waiters were attentive in the perfect way & they have definitely changed the music since.. so no more contemporary hits. We ordered 4 different sushi rolls with presentation & freshness on point! Sorry for not taking a picture but our 4 rolls were laid out beautifully and the fish looked & tasted fresh! Great little hidden local gem :) I'll definitely go again and possibly try a lunch special next!

Great sushi spot in Ashburn. I had to find location that is close to my new residence and decided to give this place a try. The inside is not very big, so I would not invite a lot of people--big enough to dine with your family or a couple of friends. The servers always greet me when I walk in( I love when restaurants demonstrate good customer service). I generally place my order to go and I have never dined in, but my order is fresh and ready to go within 10-15 minutes. They package the soup so that it stays warm on my drive home, and they place my sushi in a separate bag. The waitress that brings my order is always very nice and so is the sushi chef--he normally stops what he is doing to speak to me. My favorite roll here is the James Bond roll--it's full of awesomeness! I have tried other rolls, but I always order James Bond roll on each visit. If you are in the Ashburn area and looking for a good sushi spot-- I would give Sushi Noshi a try!

Wow. Sushi is so good. You are greeted with a warm welcome anytime you enter and thanks every time you leave. Prices are reasonable too.

  • Nima S.

Sushi is alright, this is the first place that had ramen noodles around Ashburn. Since I've had ramen noodles in some of the most yummiest places around the world its kinda hard to compare. If you must have ramen noodles, and not out of a cup, it's not so bad.

  • Selene A.

Ordered take out - food was ready quickly but the quality and quantity was not great and definitely not worth the prices they are charging. . Paid extra to have shrimp added to my noodle dish and had only one shrimp added. I called to let them know and the person that answered actually accused me of lying! Great way to treat your customers! Will not be returning. For a $50 dinner could get much better service and quality elsewhere. The fact that there was only a couple of people in the restaurant should have been an indication of what to expect. I don't mind paying for great food but did not find it here.

Went here with a friend for the first time today. We got the crunchy crunchy, the James Bond, a spicy salmon roll, and California roll. Everything tasted wonderful and the presentation was great, too. The service was a bit spotty toward the end (we sat there for 10-15 min with empty plates and glasses), but everyone was very friendly. The prices are reasonable as well. Would definitely go back.

Great service, atmosphere and delicious sushi. Love it here and my toddler likes the chicken yaki soba. I liked the cucumber no rice wrapped option and there was plenty of cooked rolls since I'm pregnant. My Husband enjoyed specialty rolls and we are excited to go back after I have baby #2 so I can try more options.

3.5 stars Came here for lunch with a coworker for sushi. Their sushi is more expensive than most places. A two piece Kani nigiri is $4.50. Most places are $2.50 to $3.00. The service was a bit slow but there were only two sushi chefs and the place was starting to fill up right after we ordered. After two sushi rolls, one two piece nigiri, a drink and tip my lunch came out to $21.00. I can hit a sushi buffet on Herndon for 19.00 with tip. I'd go back again with my lunch group if someone insisted on going but otherwise sushi is a dime a dozen these days and I can get it cheaper elsewhere.

Went here the other day and had an A-ok experience. I think the place has potential and we will probably be back to try new things. First, I'll mention the one thing that bothered me the most. We both ordered Bento box lunch specials. The waitress asked if we'd prefer fried rice or white rice. The gf got white rice, and just for the sake of trying out the fried rice, I went with Fried rice. Well, the fried rice was clearly premade as it was cold. Absolutely not one degree warmer than room temp at best. the steamed rice was hot. If you are going to offer fried rice with a meal, at least heat it up or better yet, cook it up to order. I'd take either, but cold fried rice is just disappointing. Anyhow, on to the rest of the food. Included with the Bento Box was Miso soup and Salad. The miso soup was hot and tasted right. The salad was good -- Had that good sushi house salad dressing. The Bento Boxes themselves contained the rice, a california roll (the kind with the chopped up crab stick salad and avocado), tempura, and the entree selection; I had the sashimi, gf had the sushi. Tempura: Very hot and fresh. Great tempura. One piece each of broccoli, shrimp, mashed potato?, sweet potato, onion. The shrimp was my favorite, but all were really good. They also included tempura dipping sauce. The sashimi tasted fresh enough. It didn't taste fishy at all, but to be honest... it didn't taste like much of anything. It was kind of bland. I guess I don't normally get Sashimi so maybe this is normal. I usually get sushi rolls and I think I will stick with that next time. The white fish had a piece of lemon on top of it and gave it a nice lemony flavor.. it was my favorite of the sashimi. The portion seemed pretty good for the price. The pieces of tuna and salmon were pretty thick cut for sashimi. like a good 1/2 inch thick I would estimate -- like a fat domino. The gf said the sushi was good. I didn't try it, but she was smiling. To clear up any confusion it is sushi that is a piece of fish on top of a clump of rice; not rolls. We also had plum wine. It came out in a generous sized pour in a large wine glass. It was a little sweeter and thicker than we've had elsewhere, but it was neat that it included an actual plum in the glass which was a nice touch. It was a little hard to finish though because of the sweetness. We managed though! :) All things considered, I think it's a good value for sushi in the area, especially if you get the lunch bento boxes. At about $10 a pop, I would come back for it... but I would probably order either the sushi bento box or something like beef teriyaki. The sashimi was probably good and fresh since it was cold and didn't taste fishy at all, but I need a little more flavor and it just wasn't doing it for me. Last, but certainly not least. The waitresses were friendly and pleasant. They genuinely seemed happy we were there and thanked us for coming on the way in and out. Go ahead and give them a try -- just skip the fried rice. It's worth it just for the tempura and salad! yummmmm. From the look of the other pictures, looks like they have some really great looking special rolls!

Have enjoyed the sushi bar 4 times now. Will say now this is my favorite sushi bar in the Ashburn area. Owner very personable. Best quality and price unless I want to go to DC.

I've been a regular here since shortly after it opened. Chef Peter is a down-to-Earth guy, but one with exceptionally high standards; literally, if the restaurant is open, he's there, because his standards cannot be met by anyone else he's found. The overall experience is greatly enhanced by sitting at Chef's bar. There, you can ask him to produce almost anything you can describe. I told him what I liked shortly after I started going, and he proceeded to make me literally the best roll I've ever tasted. It's now an off-menu order almost every time I go in. (Ask for the "Daniel".)

Woah......how have I lived in Ashburn for so long and missed this little gem??? AWKWARD! thanks to yelpers I found this place and am so happy I trusted their reviews. Sushi is fresh and on point. The service is fab and I also love that they have a nice (albeit small) wine list but not low end. The wine glasses are nice too! Highly recommend this for rolls, negiri, crazy jalapeno tuna app, and noodle bowls. YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMM

I have to upgrade this place to 5 stars. They've always been consistent in quality and service. This is now by absolute go to spot for sushi in this area! I hope they continue to prosper!

This will be my go to sushi place! Fresh sushi, sashimi, and nigiri all at reasonable prices with attentive service. What more can you ask for? The ambience isn't the greatest, but that becomes far less important when the food is as great as it is here.

This place is amazing. I eat a lot of sushi and this could quite possibly be the best sushi I have ever had. They have a full menu, lunch menu and daily specials. Everything we ordered was great. The 'Spartan' roll was so good. We will definitely be back!

So glad we found this place! It's the best sushi we've had in NoVa. The other reviews were right on - thick, buttery salmon. All the fish is very fresh. The atmosphere is basic, but pleasant. The sunomono salad reminded my husband of when he was invited to eat at a friend's home in Japan. Authentic!

Tried Sushi Noshi for dinner - was excited to find a Japanese restaurant nearby that had yakisoba! I got the chicken/shrimp yakisoba and my sister got the yakiudon. I've tried yakisoba a few places, and this was the best yet. Excellent taste, good amount of meat, veggies were fresh! My sister liked hers as well, although with the noodles being larger the sauce was less obvious (not a fault of the restaurant). Both the miso soup and the salad you get with the dinner portions were also great - we will definitely be frequenting Sushi Noshi in the future!

i don't know if this place has been rated according to suburbia standards (sorry, fellow suburbanites!), but this place just flat-out isn't good. sushi/rolls: the selection wasn't that unique or exciting, and the fish was chewy (salmon) and just overall not fresh (tuna). and the ramen: just downright awful. it tasted like someone just tossed in a few bouillon cubes and an outrageous amount of spice with no other flavor and called it good. the service was excellent, but considering we went out of our way to try this place only to be let down by the food quality, i have to say that my search for a good sushi joint in this area will continue elsewhere. sorry, noshi :(

Visited yesterday for lunch it was very clean and waitress was very friendly. We used groupon and it was worth it paid $19 for $30. Although we were the only customers in the place until we were done eating if was wonderful because it was our anniversary and it felt like a private luncheon. We had Japanese noodles with shrimp it was delicious and the sushi was amazing but... when they say crab they mean imitation crab meat I was expecting the real thing especially for the rolls that are 10 bucks a roll. Another Issue they don't give you noodles for $12 bucks but they taste so so good so I guess it's worth it. We didn't have any drinks only water so I can't comment in that area. See pictures below I would surely go back again but it's about an hour from my house but worth the drive.

I know this is not the West Coast so you try your best to find a Japanese place that serves decent enough sushi. This place has great Toro or fatty tuna, which I love but can't find in all sushi place in NoVa. It's $11.50 for 2 pcs. and it's pretty decent. We also had the spicy ramen which was also very good for $10.50. Rainbow Roll was not bad either. Then, the chef gave us salmon belly seared for free! That one was the best. When you come here and you like fish bellies, ask if they have any belly for the day. It's so amazing!

Delicious sushi, prepared quickly. The decor could use some love, but it's a storefront so what can ya do? Waitress was super sweet and polite. Only downside is the drinks menu; there is so much great beer to be had in Ashburn, they should really avail themselves of it.

  • Edik Z.

So far this is the best sushi place. Period. Not in Ashburn, not in Loudoun county, not in northern VA - but in continental US. Maybe I am overly excited - but feel free to come, taste and agree. Even if you know a better place, you will not be disappointed.

Best Sushi in the area! The service is very friendly and prompt. It feels like a family atmosphere and they know me by name every time I go in! They have some delicious and creative rolls, and the classic sashimi is very fresh and well made. You will not be disappointed by the food or service. The miso soup and salad that comes complimentary with your meal is awesome. It's the perfect place for a quick bite to eat or a romantic dinner. This is my first five star of a restaurant in this area! It is definitely worth it and the prices are reasonable. Even if you are not a sushi lover they have other delicious options and I have never been dissatisfied with anything I have ordered here. Don't forget the dessert either! There mango and vanilla mochi are delicious. Overall, you are in for a wonderful experience from arguably the best sushi restaurant in the area!!

For any Ashburn locals who have had the great sushi at Passion Fish in Reston or at the Buddha Bar in DC (before it closed,) the owner and sushi chef at Sushi Noshi is the former sushi chef from each of these places (and offers some of the same sushi specials.) Excellent sushi, and reasonable prices (the teriyaki box lunch including teriyaki, tempura, sushi rolls, Japanese fried rice, soup, and salad for @ $9-$10 is a steal.) Nice folks, located in the strip mall where the Ashburn Ice House is....

I came for lunch, had chirashi (in lunch manu). It was amazingly fresh sashimi on the rice which seasoned perfectly. They also have the best salad dressing. And the service was awesome!!! This will definitly be my regular spot.

I get the lunch boxes several times a week. They are excellent and a great value. If you like sushi, fresh fish and are 'stuck' in Ashburn, go here. They will not disappoint and you will be supporting some local business too.

Came back for the second time to get some sushi. Not disappointing at all. Great place, great services. The portions are big and priced fairly.

What a gem in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere! The sushi chef was great - very personable and talented. Make sure you try any of the crunchy nigiri - so creative and very spicy in a good way. I can't wait to go back! If you want good sushi and don't want to drive to the city, look no further. Sushi Noshi gives any trendy city sushi bar a run for its money. Go now!

Second time going to Sushi Noshi felt like going the first time. It felt amazing. Their service was beyond prefect, and don't get me started with the sushi. It was superb. To me everything felt great. I even liked their music.

On a fluke decided to look for a sushi restaurant on the way home, and Sushi Noshi popped up with favorable reviews. Wonderful thick pieces of sashimi.... great tempura and miso soup as well. Highly recommend!

Awesomely fresh and sizable portions of sashimi and sushi. Nice atmosphere. Only complaint is the counter: can't fit my legs under it well.

Very friendly service and the sushi is delicious! I got the avocado salad and a the lobster roll and they were both fantastic and extremely fresh. I love the atmosphere and the design is beautiful!

Best Sushi in Ashburn hands down. Peter, the owner and head chef is awesome, make sure to try the James Bond, Kamakasii, Pink Lady special rolls, and my favorite simple Nigeri Sushi Salmon! The salmon melts in your mouth! I am here once a week, if not more.

Great sushi, the crispy crispy was very good. Service was a little slow but they were also very busy. Over all had a great sushi experience and will definitely be going back.

Excellent Sushi establishment! Stopped in on a whim at lunchtime and it was well worth it. I had the sushi/sashimi lunch combo and WOW did I get more than I expected. Miso, salad and plenty of wonderful, fresh fish. Presentation was excellent as well. I really enjoyed this stop and will be back again in the future.

I tired this place for lunch the other day, and I must say that I'm a fan. I love their sushi lunch box, which is both fresh and filling. The service was also on point, very prompt and friendly. This may be my new lunch spot for sushi. Looking forward to going back soon.

Came for lunch and got the sushi lunch box special. The amount of food for the price was very good. Lunch box came with sushi, nigiri, tempura pieces, rice, miso soup and a salad. Food quality was decent. Place is very clean and the wait staff is very nice. Would like to go again for dinner to try their ramen.

I love this place for sushi. I have always ordered take out and it has been delicious every time. The employees are so nice as well, I feel so welcomed whenever I come to pick up my food. It also has great options for those who like cooked sushi like the Southern California roll.

My 15-month and I went tonight to satisfy my sushi craving. She can be quite picky but she really enjoyed the skewers glazed with Teriyaki sauce (chicken and zucchini, both sooo flavorful!). I've been to places where the teriyaki is salty and oily. Here it just tasted fresh. I ordered the sashimi appetizer for myself, then for dinner a spicy salmon roll, yellow tail sushi, and a beautiful veggie roll for my daughter (i think that was the name). The spicy salmon roll tasted wonderful, although the wrap seemed a little chewy and the baby enjoyed parts of the roll. My sushi and sashimi were delectable. So fresh and flavorful...like butter melting in my mouth! i will say the wasabi could have been a little spicier, but it was still tasty. The staff was wonderful, the food was fabulous. I'll definitely go back. Not only did my child eat more than normal, but there was also a family with 3 boys next to us and I overheard the mother say her kids normally don't eat that much either but they really enjoyed the food, too

Great new sushi place in Ashburn, joining the Fords Fish Shack shopping center. Fresh sushi that always tastes great. Teriyaki chicken box is a great option for to little kids to split - offering California roll, white rice, chicken, and really delicious breaded/lightly fried veggies. All sushi options are good. If you go at a likely busy time (Friday/Saturday 6-8pm), service might be slow, other than that, we are glad this place is here in Ashburn!

Everything was excellent. The service was great. Our server was very patient in answering all of my questions. The sushi was the best sushi I had ever had. The miso ramen was amazing. I even got complimented for eating all of my noodles. I left very full and very happy.

Had a great Chirashi dinner last night and enjoyed talking to Peter the Chef/Owner. Sushi Noshi is truly a hidden gem!

We ordered sushi and sashimi on a "love boat." The fish was very fresh, and I enjoyed every piece of it. We also had Hawaiian rolls and it was very unique. They seem to have a variety of rolls of their own creation, so I would like to try them all. The dinner was served with salad, and I especially liked the dressing. The price is reasonable. Yes, I will come back again.

Sushi is awesome. I have one MAJOR issue with this place and its why I am only giving 4 stars. There is 1 server in particular that is completely unfriendly and rude (wears glasses, the other server is nice as nice can be). Last time I went in and had the Yelp coupon ($15 for $20) she looked at me like I had 10 heads and then never even brought us change for the cash we provided for the rest of the bill. IF you don't like having deals enticing people to try your new place, DON'T HAVE ONE. She needs a major attitude adjustment. Once that is fixed this place will be a grand slam!

I've already been twice to this great new restaurant. Sushi Noshi is a Korean-owned Japanese restaurant. The food was impressive and service was great both times. I recommend the love boat for two and the sushi & sashimi combo. Soups are outstanding as well. Ambiance is nice, all looks very clean and organized.

Very delicious, fresh sushi, with a very talented sushi chef. I've had their maki (rolls) and nigiri (traditional sushi) and both are very fresh. I especially enjoyed the salmon and escolar nigiri. I love their miso soup (why can't mine taste that good T.T) and the waitstaff are nice. I think though that they're Korean - there is Korean decor in the place. However that does not diminish the quality - but if they are really Korean I'm surprised as if they make killer sushi like this - I wonder what their Korean food would be like.

My husband and I were pleasantly surprised at how good the sushi was here. The sushi rice, freshness of the fish, and overall taste was outstanding. We are fans of this place and will come back.

Delicious sushi! Had the salmon nigiri and white tuna nigiri (always excited to find a place that has white tuna) and kamikaze roll. The nigiri was very fresh, and the roll was very good as well. I knew this place was going to be great when I found out the owner was the former sushi chef at Passion Fish. Highly recommend Sushi Noshi!

Stopped by here for dinner with my kids while running errands in this shopping plaza and was pleasantly surprised by the prices and quality of the food. My kids had the chicken teriyaki bento box from the children's menu and it was all fantastic. I ordered the crunchy crunchy roll and salmon skin roll and they were huge. I will definitely be back. This will be our new go to sushi spot. They do dine in and carry out, but no delivery. The staff was also very nice and accommodating.

We've been here a few times and the sushi is top notch, the appetizers are great, and the service can't be beat. The basics like shrimp tempura roll and spicy tuna roll are solid, rice is always warm and tempura is always super crispy. They do more adventurous rolls(Coconut lobster roll and dynamite roll) well without going off the deepend. Even the salad dressing is good(and who wants to get excited about salad?).

Went for dinner with a big group and tried a lot of different pieces of sushi. The lightly fried Nigiri was something that I haven't seen anywhere else.

I brought my mom (she's a REAL critic when it comes to sushi). We started with the Calamari Salad which was on the Special menu. I loved the seasoning and it didn't taste "fishy" which is always a plus. This visit I tried the Firecrunchy roll (which was also on the Special menu), Paradise roll, and Spicy Tuna Crunchy Nigiri in addition to the Peters Naruto I roll and Spicy Salmon Crunchy Nigiri. When my mom gets excited about food she just says "delicious" in Korean repeatedly, & I'm pretty sure she said it at least 60 times from start to finish. The wasabi sauce that's on the Paradise roll is sweet but still has that kick which is awesome. The Spicy Tuna/Salmon Crunchy Nigiri is great in that the spicy pieces of fish on top with the fried rice underneath really go well together and the taste of the fish really shines. My sister got the Miso Ramen and she was super happy with it. It honestly tastes just as good if not better than those "authentic" Japanese ramen restaurants in DC. In all honesty, this place deserves the 5 stars. The flavors are awesome, the quality is just spectacular, & the service is great.
