This is my guilty pleasure. The place would be better if you could actually hear the ballgame while you are there with the guys. They have HDTVs and non-HDTVs so choose your table wisely. The wings are great and the fries are really good. The people are very friendly and the beer is always cold.

all i have to say is, dont order pizza here, its a WING place. if you want good pizza, go to manhattan or sal's. or take out next door at pizza hut. the chicken sandwiches are okay i guess, but i always order wings -- why? b-wing has got the best wings in nova. go to glory days, or the steakhouse order wings then come here and order wings. b-wings are SO much better. where else can you choose from a million different flavors? they also have a lot of beer on tap. one of my favorite fast-foodish places to go. i love the extra hot, spicy crab, and FIRE & ICE. flatliner is probably the grossest thing there is. you must order curly fries and a water (which is always huge). one night, we went on wing night -- thursday -- it gets very crowded. we sat at a high top table, and didnt have to wait, which was really nice considering the wait was over an hour. that was a fun night because they bring 7 wings and you can try every kind. they usually have good waitstaff, sometimes it can be off but thats okay. take-out for football games is a must, just make sure you order early. great big-screens to watch games, although i dont think ive ever gone because i am at school during football season.

Mrs Batman has been craving the wings but you cannot get them here. We went on a week night and there was a good crowd, not full, not over flowing, just good. I took a looooooong time for the waitress to come and take our order, make that our drink order. We waited so looooong that we were able to place our drink order and food order at the same time. Got our drinks, iced tea, within 5 minutes. That was the last we saw of the waitress. Maybe she went on break and did not get anyone to cover her tables. OUR FOOD NEVER CAME. Neither did the check. Left a couple of bucks on the table for the tea and WALKED OUT. Will NOT go back anytime soon. We went to The Original Steakhouse in Ashburn and had a MUCH BETTER outing. Can I give ZERO STARS??

We are usually here every Friday night. My husband likes the fish fry Friday dinner special and I get the hot wings. The hot sauce is addicting. The food is predictable and the service can be hit or miss but we are usually not disappointed.

Good wings, I have been going here for a while! Very family friendly!

Good and kinda gross at the same time. Good place to watch the game drink beer and eat wings.

They have ~20 beers on tap and ~20 different sauces to go with wings. Given its name I was expecting good wings. Our wings arrived in like 3 minutes after we ordered, and they were almost cold, and my tacky sauce (spicy bbq) was kinda just poured on top. They weren't very good. I bet they fry a bunch of wings at once and when the order comes in, they toss them in sauce and voila. Thumbs down.

I went here with friends. One tried the flatliner...hot is not the word for those suckers. She had one small bite and ordered the wings with the "hot level" sauce. I decided to do something stupid and took a bite. And then pulled the bite OUT OF MY MOUTH. It was NASTY. It was no so much hot as chemically tasting. It is crazy hot. No lie. The service was okay. The drinks were huge. This is a good place to go to watch sports and hang with the family. But chose your wings carefully!

All I have to say about this place is that it's the home of the "flatliner" aka the sauce that you have to sign a waiver for. I've never been brave enough to eat a wing dipped in this sauce before but I have tried a little bit of the sauce and let me just say it burns and just sits in your throat until you can't stand it anymore. I am not a fan of wings in general (I don't like foods I can't eat with a fork and knife... I'm weird, I know) but my friends all seem to enjoy it. There's a huge selection of sauces and the appetizers are really great. There are also other options like sandwhiches for people like me who aren't cool enough to eat messy foods. They have a pretty good selection of beers. I'd say it's a great place to come to watch the game with some friends. It's such a relaxed and comfortable environment - the staff is really friendly and the service is great.

Sorry Buffalo Wing Factory, I live a few yards from your front door, but I cannot visit you again (unless you improve) I am dissapointed as when I first moved here, a year ago, I was excited to have a bar close by that I could walk to. But as you will see below, I will no longer even go for a drink there. Based on 2 visits: Wings 3 out of 10 (for a wing place you would reckon 9 wouldn't you?). Sauces for wings 1 out of 10 (no freshly made sauces here, all bottled and artifical tasting). Burgers 2.5 out of 10 (I could not taste that they had been any where near a flame broiler (as advertised) and the meat quality is like a school cafeteria). Fries 2 out of 10 (fried from frozen). The crass taste of the burger and fries was echoed by my son who also ordered them. Beer 1 out of 10 (I asked for a Stella Artois, on draft. It was so disgusting (because the draft line was obviously dirty) I could not drink it (It is the regular beer I drink on tap at another bar so I know how it should taste). Admittedly, the bar tender offered to give me another variety and I tried it and it was okay. But how often do they clean out their lines do ya think? The problem is they can't handle carrying so many varieties of beer. I notice when I pass by it seems quite full especially during football games. It seems the Factory can get away with serving rubbish.

We just love the Buffalo Wing Factory and it has been our little "spot" since we moved to Ashburn almost two years ago. LOVE the sauces, they have a very young staff, but the bartenders are very friendly and always make us feel welcome as well as management. They have NFL ticket and great beer deals on sundays!!!

This restaurant gets 3 stars from me because the waitstaff is fantastic. These kids (gotta tell ya, they're all late teens - early 20s) know how to hustle & they're super-friendly. The whole staff pitches in with all the tables so you don't get any of this "Sorry, you're not on my station" stuff that just drives moms nuts. The food is eh. I'm not a wings person but my husband & son are (big time). They get the garlic wings every time & love them. You can't talk to them while they're eating these wings; they won't pay you any attention. They've changed the pizza (it used to have about an inch [no exaggeration] of cheese on it & a slick of grease) & it didn't get better, it's just different. It seems like it's barely-baked frozen restaurant-distributor pizza. We got 2 large pizzas for the big gang of kids we had (1 veggie pizza, 1 pepperoni). The pizzas were barely warm. Just blah pizza with rather chalky thick end crusts which nobody ate, ranch dressing or not. The 2 youngest kids at the table - a 6-year-old girl & an 8-year-old boy - didn't even finish one small slice of pepperoni pizza each. Our waiter wasn't the smiley-est we've ever had at Wing (that's what we call this neighborhood restaurant) but he really hustled for us & kept the silos o' soda (otherwise known as really big clear plastic glasses) filled. The kids menu isn't as low-priced as it used to be (kids used to eat for $1.99 on Wednesday nights [we called it Wing Night & went every week]) but the curly fries are a hit with the young'uns (& sneaky moms). The chicken fingers are absolutely huge & really yummy (not breaded but dredged in flour & spices & fried to a deep mahogany). One finger feeds a kid & the kid's order of chicken fingers has 2 pieces of chicken. BTW I don't drink alcohol (neither does the other mom I was with this night), & I'm sick of the over-the-top, bow-to-the-Budweiser-gods decor at sports bars like this one. That said, I love MLB, NFL & college sports, so I adore the big-screen ESPN & NFL Network. The bill for 2 adults, 2 teenagers, the 2 kids mentioned above along with an 11-year-old girl was $80 before tip. I thought that was high considering the not-particularly-good pizzas. But our waiter earned his 20%.

I was surprisingly pleased with the Buffalo Wing Factory. I came in about 30 minutes before closing and there were only a few people there. A brief judgement of the waiter had me a little worried about the service, but he was very nice, did a great job of taking care of refills, and took some time to explain his favorite sauces and entrees. If I wasn't making a deliberate attempt to try new restaurants each night during my work travels, I definitely would have made another visit.

First time here, carry out only. But wish I had went to Buffalo Wild Wings instead. Walked into this place to pick up 5 orders of wings for NFL championship games yesterday (60 dollars total) and the greeting was horrible. Atmosphere was miserable. There was a bunch of teenagers at the carryout / register and not one of them greeted me with any respect. I walked up to the counter and before I could even open my mouth... this spoiled looking idiot teen boy said, "Sir, that guy right next to you was in front of you, please wait your turn". This just pissed me off so bad. It was me and this one guy in the entire area and this guy was already sitting down. All he needed to say is, "welcome to our restaurant, how I can help you." You would think management at BWF would at least a nice train staff properly on greeting customers when they walk in. Never in my life have I been greeted that way. I told this little boy, "I already paid for my order of 50 wings, it is probably that large bag right behind you". Sure enough it was my bag and after signing the receipt I ran the heck out of this dump. And I say dump because that's exactly what it looks like from the street. Anyway, I said to myself, at least I got some wings that got plenty of great reviews from people. NOPE, got home and the sauce of all the wings soaked right thru the PAPER take out boxes. Who the heck puts chicken wings drenched in sauce in PAPER take out boxes! The boxes fell apart as I took each order of wings from the paper bag they came in (HOW CHEAP IS THIS PLACE) and the wings were very dry afterwards. It was a mess, NEVER going back to this place. First and last time! If one of you BWF managers from this place is reading this, train those little teenager brats you hire to have some respect for adults and invest in proper carry out boxes made to hold saucy chicken wings! What poor management and thinking. I feel bad for anyone ordering carry out from this place. Also, I want my 60 dollars back! I cannot believe I actually paid 60 dollars to get dry chicken wings and clean up a mess as soon as I got home with them. This is my carry-out experience, so I must tell anyone getting -carry out from her, to stay away! Go to Buffalo Wild Wings for your carry-out needs.

Brought my family out to enjoy a family dinner. We have had the wing before and I'm usually happy with them, but on this particular visit, we had ordered 30 wings...10 New Orleans, 10 spicy garlic, 10 spicy ranch. The only one that had any flavor was the spicy ranch. the others tasted like a buttery mess...no seasoning or sauce. We also ordered mild wings for my daughter and she didn't eat them because they were too spicy. I don't know if they put the wrong wings in her basket, but even my wife thought they were hot...not exactly what you want ordered for a 4 year old. I work in the business, so I don't like to send things back...I know I don't like when others send things back because I always want to get it right the first time. Also, the service lacked personality. I'm not saying service was bad. Our server was attentive and kept my drink full...All I ask is for some personality. I usually enjoy the wings here but this particular visit just didn't live up to my expectation.

I love the all you can eat wings on Thursdays. Great to get together with some friends for some beers and wings. I'm a big fan of the Szechuan and X-Hot. They have TV's all over the place so it's easy to watch the games that happen to be on that night.

We went here to despite the not so great reviews. C'mon, people! It's a sports bar. Are you really expecting filet mignon and champagne? Good wings, good service, over all, for a sports bar, a great experience. We'll be back.

Hey, Where's the bartender? Oh wait, he's cleaning up dirty dishes, taking out the trash, maybe he's waiting on tables and cooking too because he sure isn't watching the customers at the bar. I would like to have someone a bit more attentive to my needs, that's why I sit at the bar. But this guy shows up every 10 minutes or so to see if we need anything else. Polite enough. Yeah, they got beers, but it's a crap shoot to see if it's out or not. Maybe it's laziness not wanting to change the keg, or maybe they are really out. Dunno. I like the wings (best in the area - would get 5 stars by themselves) but the service here is quite lacking so I've taken away 2 stars. And this review is based on multiple visits not just a one time instance.

We actually received a response from a BWF representative after our posting on August 9th. We actually believed her and her seemingly genuine concern for our experience. She noted that prices had gone up throughout the entire industry and that the chicken tenders were now pounded flat, rather than the plump juicy ones he had before. She said they were going to discuss this with their kitchen staff, but we really aren't buying her story. We actually were going to give them the benefit of possibly having a bad night not but...."Eek! Methinks not" There are too many options out there locally for better food.

My best friend and I visited this place last night when it was pretty dead, and the service was still pretty slow. I know it was like 10-10:30 and the kitchen closes at 11, but we were dissappointed. The wings were GREAT, like always, try the flavor of the month - Bulgogi. Was pretty weird that our waiter INCLUDED THE TIP when we got the bill. Still my friend was kind enough to pay that and a few extra bucks for his tip. But I think we'll visit the Sterling location nex time.

Wings are great and the service is much better than the one in Reston. Wings come out fast and so does the beer. Also, they have a very good beer selection.

There really isn't a lot to say about a wing place other than to talk about the quality of the wings. This is "The Place" in Ashburn for great wings. They are crispy but not battered, with a good variety of sauces. I have tried most everything on the menu, and would recommend that you stick to the wings. After all, it is a wing place. You wouldn't go to a Steak House and order Tofu, and if you do, don't be surprised if it sucks!

Bought 2 orders of wings one pepper parmesian and the other buffalo bites..totally disappointed...quality poor, wings overcooked..

Standard family restaurant and bar. Ok food, cold beer and wings. That's where the standard part ends. So many great wing flavors to choose from this place is an oasis in a sea of blandness that starts as soon as you cross the bridge from MD or DC. Flatliners are the real deal. You will be in pain. You will cry. Your nose will run constantly. My strategy to finish 10 was speed. Eat them as fast as you can and that will minimize the pain. Wrong. As soon as you taste it you will be on fire - and it creeps too. It creeps to be so painful your entire head will be on fire. It's definitely not worth it unless you like painfully hot wings to begin with. The wings give this place the fourth star, maybe even the third.

I have visited this restaurant twice in the past two weeks, and both times I enjoyed the great food at reasonable prices, the friendly staff, and the relaxed atmosphere. If you like chicken wings you cannot go wrong here. There are three types of chicken to choose from and something like 15 custom sauces to choose from and sure to satisfy any palate. Great place to watch a game while you eat, and the kids loved it too. We will be back!

Great wing flavor selection. The service is good. The only ding is their prices have gone up and the menu is not as robust as it once was.

I took the advice of one user on the club sandwich. Um....it was a greasy club sandwich that wasn't special in ANY way. Arby's has better curly fries by far. I only gave it two stars (instead of one) because unlike some who had bad service my food was ready quickly. And 15 + for this kind of dinner. Seriously, Subway is better. Of course I was kidna stupid to be getting a club sandwich at a ribs place.

It took me a couple of visits before I officially became a fan. Nowhere else in the DMV area can beat Buffalo Wing Factory's extensive sauce choices. The shopping center that BWF is located in is kind of easy to miss if you don't already know that it's there.. Inside each wall is complimented by it's own big screen TV and it's so hard to concentrate on one because each TV has it's own sporting program on. And if the TVs weren't enough distraction already they even have this addicting game (the machine is right by the door) called 'stackers'. Lucky for us, we happened to go on a Monday when they have their 49 cent wing special! And you only have to order a minimum of 5 wings per sauce so you can split up a order of 10 wings into 2 different flavors. The wings you can order by quantities of 10, 50 or 100. We ordered Spicy Honey Garlic Butter, Spicy Garlic Butter, Hot and Spicy General Tso's.. The garlic butter sauces weren't that great but the other two were pretty good. I'm def. going to opt for other sauces next time. Also, I think you have to ask for the celery but it comes free with your wing order. Feeling gutsy?? Try their Flatliner wings.. if you can eat 10 or more wings they will write your name on their ' Wall of Fame'

Any place that's main dish is buffalo wings, can't go wrong in my book. I went to the Buffalo Wing Factory several times during football season and there couldn't have been a better atmosphere. The specials were more than enough reason to stop by and catch a game. I was also drawn by the variety of wing flavors available. Sure Hooters has a good selection, but Spicy Ranch and Spicy Lemon Pepper aren't on their menu. The wait staff is also attentive and helpful. And with at least 4 t.v.'s on every wall there's no other place you'd rather be.

Been going here for over a year. Make almost a routine stop after Sat PM mass with the kids. Kids (4/8) enjoy the busy atmosphere and they enjoy watching the sports all around the rooms on a bunch of TV's. Have had a few "nothing special" meals but overall, I like the place. Consistently decent service and the wing variety is great. They used to cook all burgers the same (Medium well) but recently started to offer a choice. Huge difference in the taste/quality. There are better pizza places but a safe option for those in your group who so choose. Even on busy College football days we've had less than 5 minute waits for a table. Staff is very friendly to the kids and keep the glasses full.

All you can eat wings. You would think that if they do this every Thursday they would prepare for the rush. Going on 45 minutes wait and was just told its going to be a few more. Didn't like this place to begin with. No I'm hungry and disappointed. Last trip here.

The food is generally good for bar food. I did not care too much for their burgers or pizza, however, my favorite dish is the Buffalo Chicken Nachos. Hands down the best nachos I have had anywhere. Another great plus is that they server local (fresh) beer - Lost Rhino has fantastic beers! Their chicken wings are usually pretty good, although I have been served 'old' wings on more than one occasion. The server was happy to take them back and bring some fresh ones. Their chicken fingers are hand breaded and fresh (not frozen). I have not tried their salads, however, after discovering their chicken nachos, I find it hard to order anything else.

I became a fan of wings in college frequenting Buffalo Wild Wings. After graduating I found the 'Wing Factory' which is far and a way better. Now this is my restaurant of choice when meeting co workers for lunch. The wings are great and the pizza is quite good. Their menu has quite a few other options, but really why with wings this good would I try other items.

If I could I'd give 5 stars for the food and 1 for the service. I order takeout from here once a week. Though I rarely get the wings. (Ledos are better by far) They have the best jalapeno poppers around and their Super Club sandwich is awesome, substitute their homemade buffalo chips and its possibly my favorite thing to eat for lunch. However, the service is awful. Mostly high school kids more interested in flirting and joking with each other rather than to acknowledge the guy standing at the counter 3 feet in front of them for several minutes. On one occasion I noticed I got charged twice for a large group order (ran my card both over the phone and again when i picked it up) I called the manager to report this and he ran the card a third time! I ended up paying close to $300 on a single order order and it took a week to get it all straightened out with my bank. Completely irresponsible service. I love their food though, in fact I'm ordering from there again as soon as I post this but one thing is for sure I'll always pay cash for my stuff from now on. And I never expect anything more than a fast food joint level of service. I couldn't imagine actually sitting down to eat there with that service. I do have to give them credit though after ordering over the phone once a week for nearly a year they have never once screwed up an order and left something out. ( I did get an extra cup of buffalo shrimp one time though) Though whether you just get one order of wings or 10 you still just get one little baggie with 3-5 pieces of celery :( I even requested extra celery once since I had 8 orders of wings.. They just gave me a 2nd bag of 5 pieces of celery :( ----- Edit I stand corrected.. Picked up my order right after making this review and they forgot my buffalo chips. But my Poppers and Sandwich were bangin as usual so I'll still go back. But yeah service is definately sub-par.

I love wings! I just recently moved to VA from CA, and was needing my wing fix. In CA I went to Wingstop -- I really enjoyed their wings. So, Wing Factory had a lot to live up to. They did. Excellent wings. My partner and I both had the spicy lemon pepper wings, and I had a cheesesteak and my partner a burger. We also had the fried mushrooms. Everything was great. The wings were tasty and moist, and the sandwiches top notch. I also made the mistake of tasting of sample of the "flatliner" wings. I *LOVE* hot foods, but my mouth may never be the same again. This wasn't hot with flavor -- it was just pure burn. Oh well, stick with the flavors that don't require people standing by to do CPR.

I have mixed feelings about Buffalo Wing Factory. The fare is pretty standard bar food which is pretty mediocre. It's pretty much a high school kids local hang out both because of the clientele and the wait staff. The service is very average - with most of the staff pretty indifferent about taking your order or bringing out your food. However, what saves this place are the actual wings. I stick with the standard buffalo sauce which comes in different varieties of hotness. The 911s are killer. They taste good and have an awesome kick to them. The TVs are in HD and usually are showing the latest games so that's an extra plus as well.

My fiance and I love this place. The staff is always friendly even for college looking kids. Very attentive and they always get the order right even with multiple changes/additions. We always get our usual double basket of chicken fingers with a side of buffalo hot sauce and ranch. The chicken always comes out crispy on the outside and hot and juicy on the inside. We also love the loaded french fries which is one of the best I've ever had. The cheese is plentiful and well gooey and melty. Try dipping the cheese fries in the buffalo hot sauce... to die for! The hard cider I get always comes out in a cold glass and tastes great and refreshing with the meal. A definite favorite go to place for us!

I love that there's a board up on the wall entitled "Wall of Flame" with the number of Flatliner wings people have consumed in one sitting. Whoever puts names up there has great penmanship. And uses cutesy colors. 32 Flatliners in one meal? That's gonna be a painful time on the pot the next day... I appreciated the fact that the staff here didn't seem fazed at all by us running out to take a call, hollering "We'll be back" on our way to the door. The moment we got back in and sat down, our server had our (still warm) wings to us in a jiffy. The wings themselves? Pretty mediocre. A little drowned in sauce, a lot of skin, and a basket of ten runs $8. Meh. I have to say, I do miss coming here for their Thursday all you can eat wings deal. Now -that- has led to some over-meating in the past. I'm not sure if they've upgraded since I was last here, but there are now at least a half dozen giant TVs showing various sports all around the room. I'd probably take this joint over Chics N Wings in Tyson's, forced with making a choice between the two.

It's tough to judge the restaurant by the first visit. I will be sure to update this review..... Food: 3 stars Service: 1 star Why? The wings are just OK. Nothing to write home about. Service? The kid at the counter sounded like he has an abdominal pain from PMS. Anyway, I can confirm that this place is not exactly the friendliest place ...

What a great hang out place for wings and 30 beers on tap. I love the grilled wings with spicy ranch. I come here quite often and everyone is very friendly. I even met a few Redskin players at the comfy joint.

Super friendly, fair prices, fun and friendly staff, and a great selection of beer and wing flavors. Sometimes it can be a little bit crazy with a lot of small kids (especially on Thursdays), but it's all part of the atmosphere. I consider the BWF-Ashburn "my tavern" of choice! Being originially from upstate NY, I consider myself a wing afficianado....and this place is MONEY!

  • Craig S.

I'd give it a 'meh'. The past experiences I've had were better, but the kitchen was slow, the wings quality was mediocre, the beer kinda flat, and they seem to have forgotten the quality little things that used to make them good... They even refused a sample of a flatliner for a gal at our table.. Probably going to start looking for a new wings joint..

I just love this place - can't get enough. I'm ashamed to admit I've been twice this week. They have a huge sauce selection so there's something for everybody and the wings themselves are great. And if you don't like wings, their burgers are great, and if you're on a diet, their salads are always fresh. I wasn't impressed with the Chantilly location but this one is very well managed. Love love love.

I've been going to the Factory for ten years now. Its had its ups and downs. However now that there are a bunch of new wing places in town, it seems they've got their A-game on. I'm a huge fan of the Caribbean wings, awesome flavor. All of the hot flavors are great, though torrid really loses some of the flavor for heat. Flatliners, to quote a friend, taste like poison, but hey, if you eat a whole basket, its free. I haven't had anything else on the menu, its a wing place after all. Service is very good now, everything came out fast and someone was by to check on us frequently. Last but not least, they have some really good specials, like PBR for $2, all day, everyday, its cheaper than soda! The competition seems to be much more expensive while not delivering the same level of service. If you like wings, this is a great place to go.

Wings are good, but not the best I've had. They have a really nice selection of flavors to choose from so if you bring a group everyone should find something they like. As someone stated before, the curly fries are great. Another solid choice is the Finger Lickin Chicken Sandwich Buffalo Style - a nice sized deep fried chicken breast smothered in their buffalo sauce with blue cheese dressing. Service is usually good but I do have a tip for those of you order carryout and like extra blue cheese dressing. I can't count how many times I've called and placed an order for wings with extra blue cheese and when I get home I don't find it in the bag. Maybe it's my fault for not checking the bag before I leave, I don't know. Anyways now I will wait until I get there to pick it up and then ask for the extra blue cheese.

This place is so good!!!! I only wish in my hometown we had something even slightly comparable... I went here two days in a row, and I am hooked. I LOVE THE WINGS! The buffalo bites are so yummy! San Diego has nothing like this spot :(

We recently had our fantasy football draft at the Buffalo Wing Factory in Ashburn. We were there for better than four hours and the service, beer, and food were terrific. The manager even came by to check and make sure the service and food was to our satisfaction. I highly recommend the bulgolgi wings and any of the incredible beers they have on tap. I'd recommend coming here for a simple family meal or big events like draft parties or birthdays.

It kills me to write this review because I've been a regular at Buffalo Wing Factory for about 15 years. It was a great place to come for football on Sundays but they've gotten rid of all of their Sunday specials. At $11.29 for 10 small wings and no beer specials I'll have to find another Sunday spot. The wings keep getting smaller and more expensive, but at least they had good beer specials and deals on other appetizers for game days. If you do go to BWF, I would suggest the chicken fingers because you get more bang for your buck. The menu says they're $11 just don't ask for an extra sauce, they rang up as $13.50 because we asked for honey mustard and spicy crab. The service is typically okay, granted today we went about 30 minutes from when our drinks were empty until someone finally came by. The wing flavors are typically good, but today I ordered spicy honey garlic butter and it tasted as if the wings were just sitting in honey (I think it was just a bad batch). The pros of BWF is that if you don't care what you spend on beer and wings, they have a good beer selection and good wing flavors. Just be prepared $50+pp on game days.

I sat in the bar area at a table. Service was friendly and very good. I got an onion ring appetizer, 10 wings with Spicy Honey Barbecue and fries. Wings were cooked correctly. The sauce was not spicy at all and had very little BBQ flavor. It was just kind of tomatoie. I almost wondered if I got the wrong sauce. Onion Rings were cooked right but had way too much breading for my taste. The onion ring sauce wasn't good either. French fries were crinkle cut. Not my favorite either. After I left, I realized that my clothes smelled terribly like I had been standing directly over their fryers. I think they allow smoking in there but that wasn't a bother at all. It was the oil smell. I can't imagine it is very pleasant to work in that environment. I liked the way they cooked their wings and the service but not much else.

A three-letter word: DRY. The wings are so dry that you can't help but wonder----how did they screw up fried chicken wings!? The service isn't so bad though.

I used to be a regular at BWF when I lived in Ashburn 10 years ago. I had to bring my family back to see if it was all I remembered. It was Thursday, which is all you can eat night, meaning it was a zoo. Service was slow because of the demand on the kitchen, but the bar kept drinks for adults and the family coming. When the food came, it did not disappoint. The Eastern Shore wings (old bay, beer, butter) is a unique and amazing staple wing for all old bay enthusiasts to try. They are amazing. On our server's recommendation, I tried the Caribbean wings and they, too, did not disappoint. Kids say their mild wings were the best get ever had. All left very full and happy.

We usually are here either Sunday or Thursday for NFL. They added new beers and they have an awesome menu. Their loaded fries are huge and filling while you can't go wrong with the wings. Their chicken tenders are a must get, very large, tender and juicy with whatever dipping sauce you prefer. I also enjoy their pizza and their brownie sundae (if I have enough room after the wings lol). It has a much better decor than their location in Sterling. I recommend this place, especially on Thursdays where they have the all-you-can-eat wings, tenders, fries and bites. For only 17.99, you can't get much better than that!

I was there for a fantasy football drafting party and the service that we received was the best I've ever seen. There were about 15 of us, and our waiter Elijah never let our drinks get empty. We also were treated so well by the owners as well, with a visit from them personally. It was a great experience and oh yeah. The wings? Amazing. I highly recommend this place...and their delicious variety of flavors for the wings and beers!

Pretty decent place. I've come here for lunch multiple times. I love the different flavors of the wings, but the only thing I don't like is how they cook the wings. Sometimes the skin is too hard and tough. Not sure if it's because it is overcooked or something, but other than that good. They always have multiple tvs with different sports playing and it's a very chill place.

  • Rachel W.

The wings are really good. The fries are good too. The service is decent. The only thing I don't like about the place is that it's always packed and a little loud. That's OK though, the food makes up for it.

My normal order is 10 Spicy BBQ and 10 Spicy Honey Mustard bites. Today was no exception. Whoever was behind the counter was great. I spent a few years away from BWF at WVU, but it's nice to come back home and and get really good wings.

I can't believe all of the good reviews for this joint! My boyfriend and I ate dinner here and our experience was extremely disappointing. First of all, we ordered the cheese fries with bacon. It was the blandest cheese fries with bacon that I've ever had. How does that even happen?!? It's not rocket science after all. We had to add seasoning to try to make it more flavorful. This appetizer has always been amazing at other restaurants... My tastebuds were not excited here. Secondly, the wings were subpar, especially compared to BWW. The chicken wasn't "right" and I didn't like either of the two sauces that I tried. Between the bland fries and the subpar wings, I didn't enjoy my dining experience here. I will say however, that the waitress I had was awesome and so much more attentive than most of the waiters at BWW. She deserves a raise.

My family and I always come to Buffalo Wing Factory. They have a better selection of wings and pizza compared to other places. I always get traditional with buffalo sauce, it never disappoints.

LOOOOVVVEE their wings, they are way meatier and juicier than most other wing places I visit. I also love their flavor selection. I'm a fan of the spicy BBQ myself but have tried many other flavors such as the garlic parmesan, eastern shore, spicy ranch, Teryaki and the Szechuan, all of which are great. Good craft beer election and their fried oreos are to die for!! I purposely refrain from eating so many wings so I can have room for fried oreos. Service is good most of the time, food is always hot and tasty.

We are new to the area and looking for a new wing place. We heard a lot of good things about Buffalo Wing Factory so we thought we'd give them a try. We only tried two flavors so this review will be updated as we try more. We tried Honey BBQ and Garlic Butter. Both flavors were good but my wife had the Honey BBQ and said it had a stronger undertone of Buffalo sauce rather than BBQ. The Garlic Butter was also tasty, but because the sauce is butter based, most of the flavor was left dripping onto the plate instead of the wings. We also tried the loaded fries (melted cheese, scallions, and bacon). They were pretty good but like the Garlic wings, the cheese was over cooked/melted so it had slid off the fries and into a puddle on the plate. Flavor was decent but I've certainly had better. In the end, it was a pretty good wing place and somewhere we'd give another shot, but our first visit certainly didn't wow us.

I love the Wing Factory. Probably my favorite Wing joint in all of Nova. My buddies and I normally go on Thursday's for the All you can eat wings. The reason I rated this 4/5 instead of 5/5 is I noticed that they have been slowly raising the prices. Strongly recommend the Honey BBQ, Garlic Butter, and Eastern Shore. Probably the best wings they have. Also, their chicken fingers are some of the best I ever had. It's worth the extra 60 cents for another dipping sauce.

    (4)
  • Jonathan L.

Friendly staff but the wings look like they came from dwarf chickens. When you have "wings" in the name of your business you should have the best and do it the best. Save your money and go to bw3's for the same size wing for less money.

  • Terry M.

These are my favorite wings hands down! The sauces are really great and they let us order wings extra crispy for some of our office folk and 'wet' meaning extra sauce for me. My favorite sauces are suicide bbq, suicide ranch and mango habanero. The flavor of the month is always interesting and I try to get them at least once.

The chicken wings are so greasy!!! The service was lousy. Prices were very high. Don't waste your time on this place.

Recently went here with some friends for lunch and was VERY impressed with some of the menu changes they've made. You expect great wings and burgers but I was blown away by the new diversity of flavors. We started with the pizza fritters which were an awesome spin on traditional mozzarella sticks. I had the mesquite chicken salad and, holy cow, it was awesome!! The chicken was extremely flavorful and the honey mustard vinaigrette was a nice touch. The portion was also HUGE, especially for being less than $10 for the entree. The other awesome thin was the craft brew selection. You expect a wing place to have traditional, crappy beers like Miller Lite/Bud/Coors, but you don't expect them to have a vast array of local (DE/MD/VA) craft beers ON TAP!! They also had a good bottle selection as well. This is what put them from 4 to 5 stars for me. Will definitely be heading here more than before!!

Amazing beer selection 30+ on tap! The only wing place the wife will go to. kids and I go for the Wings and fried buffalo chix sandwich but she said the turkey burger here is the best she's had. She also gets the buffalo chix quesadilla.

I'm CRAZY about wings and this place is amazing! From the curly fries, the garlic cheese bread, the chicken fingers and most importantly and fantastically...THE WINGS!!! They are so amazing, so tasty and the best wings in the area and trust me...I've tried everywhere in the Sterling/Ashburn area. Also, the folks at this establishment FOLLOW DIRECTIONS. You ask for extra sauce, you got it. Extra dipping sauce? You got it! I love it and will probably end up doing a take-out order every few days with my co-workers.

Service was great, and the food was perfect. All the wing sauces I've tried so far are phenomenal, and I can't wait to try more of their new menu items. No complaints here!

This is a great local wings restaurant frequented by Ashburn locals. There's a plethora of TV's and a great selection of draft beers and wing sauces. There's always a special for every night of the week so there's no reason to go on only specific nights. I would recommend if you want to watch your favorite sports team, have a cold one, and enjoy some quality wings.

Really, really bad service. We were there with some friends this past Saturday night, about an hour and a half before closing. I'm a fan of the brand, so I didn't think anything of stopping into a different location than we're used to. Drinks took forever to arrive; second beers almost never came at all...and when they did arrive, it was a little too fast, like maybe they'd been poured and had been sitting somewhere other than our table. My friend asked what the "Heat Stroke" sauce was like, and I believe our server's response was "hot with spices". She did ultimately offer to go check for us, but it was kind of too late. Food was as I remembered; bites and wings all around were tasty, hot and came with lots of blue cheese/celery. Fries were unsalted, but hot. I would just hesitate to go back to this particular store, based on the service and wouldn't have an issue going to the one in Chantilly.

Let me start off by saying I have been eating at Buffalo Wing Factory since 1998, back when their only location was in Sterling, VA. I now eat at the one in Ashburn, given that it is closer to my house, and also the rush for "All You Can Eat Thursdays" isn't nearly as bad as it used to be in Sterling. That brings me to my next point: STOP RAISING THE PRICE OF ALL YOU CAN EAT THURSDAYS. Yeah, you now include french fries, sodas, and boneless wings in the price, but I'm onto your game. Fill the fatties up with fries and soda, then they won't eat as much of the delicious chicken. It's a win-win for you. This is really my only gripe with this establishment. The price for all you can eat is up to about $19 now, when it used to be around $14. When I asked why, I was told the price of chicken has gone up. Really? I haven't noticed that trend at the grocery store. Maybe you should change your chicken vendor. Or better yet, raise your own chickens in the back--just don't name them. Makes it harder to turn them into food. To the guy that complained his pizza sucked-- why on earth would you order pizza from a place called Buffalo WING Factory? That's like going to the Chinese buffet and loading your plate up with french fries and taco meat. Maybe try a chicken wing next time? Excuse me while I go to McDonald's and ask for their 6oz fillet.

By far the best wings around. Awesome selection of draft beer with many local selections. They have their own brew as well which is $4 all day every day.

Horrible service + Great wings = take out and missed revenue opportunity. High school kids working their first jobs, I get it. Older servers providing poor service, not acceptable.

Was here a few weeks back. A bunch of friends used to meet here almost every Thursday after work for happy hour and enjoy the "all you can eat' wing deal. We got back after a couple of years and found out their selection of beers has drastically improved. Got to taste some pretty decent ales. I can't remember their names! The wings were still the same, loved licking my fingers shamelessly as usual. The 911 has always been my favorite! Service is excellent. You have them stopping by every few minutes to make sure you are taken care of.

Glad we have this place a try. We ordered the spicy chicken nachos as an appetizer, and it was delicious. Plenty for two adults and two kids. Then we ordered the chicken tenders, buffalo chicken sliders, kids' chicken bites and cheese quesadilla. It took a little while for the food to come out but it was well worth it. The chicken tenders are fried in a batter that was awesome. Couldn't eat all five tenders so took two home. Bring the kids, the place is spacious and has plenty of TVs to keep everyone entertained while waiting for the food. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Ordered the chicken wings with two types of sauces. Sauces were good but the chicken was not up-to the mark. The ambience was good and the service is okay. It's a good place for parties for more than 10 people. huge room.

Having gone here to eat since I was in high school, I now bring my husband and son and still happily enjoy it. I ADORE their wings. The flavors are awesome and so much better than some wing resturants which only have wings in flavors such as a mild, medium, extra hot, etc. Hands-down, the BEST cheese fries I have EVER tasted are from here. They are a huge portion size (order them to share with the table). They come with cheese and some kind of maybe wing sauce drizzled on them, as well as chives and bacon. INCREDIBLE! I have been addicted for years. I would go just for the fries. And minor detail, but still nice to know, the drinks come in HUGE glasses. I drink enough water that I typically send a waiter/waitress numerous times to refill my drink, but at B-Wing, I don't need to :) It's got a great bar with a huge selection of beer which is nice as well. Overall, it's a great quick place to grab a bite with family or a couple drinks during a game with friends.

Pros - Classic "locals only" wing place. Great wings and great bar food. Good for families and they have a side room with a handful of video games that can accommodate team parties. Very casual atmosphere - we go here after lacrosse games or basketball games in our sweats and don't get any second looks. Lots of TV's with a wide range of mans sports. Poplar with high school kids. Cons - They dont serve liquor. Be prepared to smell like grease when you leave. Hard to eat healthy....but thats probably true of most good sports bars and wing joints

Been here a few times. Personally I think they have better wings than Buffalo Wild Wings, especially their boneless wings. Their non-wing menu items are better than BWW too. Prices are reasonable, and is kid friendly (not sure how the crowds get later at night though). They are also excellent for carry out.

a couple of weeks ago I came here with one of my daughters softball teams on a sunday night and was blown away by the service i received, for those of you who have never been to the Buffalo Wing Factory in Ashburn there are two sides to the restaurant one with big tables probably 10 or so and the other side has smaller tables. so me my daughter and about 20 other players and parents from the softball team sat on the big side. We had one server and he took the whole party by himself he got all of our drinks right away and separated us by number very organized. Then he proceeded to take all of our orders about 15 to 20 mins later all the orders started coming out one by one and none of them were wrong. He did a fantastic job and i love how he interacted with such a big party. Not to mention he had a couple more tables on the big side as well that looked very taken care of as well. The Food- for an appetizer my daughter and i split the loaded fires they were terrific although they cold of had a little more cheese,The wings were a little small but they had a crazy number of sauces to choose from, my daughter got a bacon cheeseburger so naturally i ate half of it, and it was a very good burger. overall i have nothing but good things to say about the place Crazy good service great food and a really cool environment. I will defiantly be eating here again and i recommend it to all.

We recently gave it another try & the service was much better. Seems like there may have been some training or staff changes since our last visit. I cannot remember our servers name, but he reminded us of the Chotchkies guy from Office Space. Very animated and attentive. Food was great, as always. We are definitely on the path to forgiveness since the bad visits!

Great beer selection on tap and they even have Old Ox Brewery which just opened up. I've never been disappointed with the wings here and it is the only place if you have a craving.

Wings are pretty good. Service was pretty slow. I've only gone here three times over the many years I've lived in Ashburn, and the slow speed of service sticks out in my mind every time we go.

Went on thurs for the ayce special, 17.99. Seems pricey but all you have to do is eat 15 and you've gotten your money's worth with the soft drink included. Place was packed but the server was very attentive and reorders came out quickly. Tried a bunch of sauces including torrid-- second hottest. Will light you up the next morning if you eat a few. Tenders were real bready--didn't care for them. Bites were fine. Good wings if you can take advantage of the specials...

I love the food here but the service is what gives it 2stars. It doesn't matter the time of day or where you sit the service is slow. The staff barely checks back on the table after the food is placed on the table. If the service was better I would be here all the time.

My husband and I come here from time to time and love it! There are a few wings we avoid but it depends on the person I guess but they have PLENTY of variety . Who doesn't like wings though right?? We will keep coming here when ever a wing craving kicks in!

This is your usual sports bar. Lots of TV's with many different sports in action. As for the wings, they are wonderful. Many different options in terms of flavor. Way better than Buffalo Wild Wings. I'd say there is certainly more meat on these wings and I've enjoyed every bite. Their curly fries are also delicious, but regular fires are just meh, i wouldn't recommend them.

Normally we come to this location because service is good, staff is attentive. Unfortunately on this occasion I am so disappointed with the service I may not return. The server Basically ignored our party of 7 and paid attention to the surrounding tables full of young boys. We waited almost 30 minutes for 4 orders of wings. If we ordered refills, she just took our cups and refilled them. And forget about her bringing napkins tuneless you ask. I mean really?? A table full of wing orders and no napkins?! Doesn't she realize that adults with jobs can tip more then a table full of kids ordering sodas who are probably still in high school...guess not. Actually writing this review while waiting for my order. I'm only giving a 1 because the flavor was good.

Great wings and good service! IMHO, these are the best wings in the area. I also enjoy the Buffalo Bites. They also have great salads, sandwiches and burgers. I'm a fan! On Thursdays, get there early.

Went here tonite to get a pizza. Had one a few years a go here and it was OK. Well, times have changed. It had to be the absolute worse Pizza I have ever had. The crust had a very funny taste and it was hard to cut through. The tomato sauce (if you can call it that) tasted like and had the texture that they opened a can of tomato paste, did not put any spices on it, and just schmerred on the crust. They then took what appeared to be mozzarella, spread it on thick, and then placed the most bland sausage on top. When pizza started to cool off was like a concrete pizza. I don't get it. I love the boneless wings but the pizza menu was only three pizza or build-your-own. Take it from me and build-your-own somewhere else in Ashburn. Won't happen to me again. Also had a pretty lazy ass server which is also unusual. They used to have a bunch of young girls who learned good service but appeared tonite to be all guys who never heard of good service. Dont want to give up on the wings just yet but....

Kid friendly with some of the best combination of wings and sauce in town. I usually get the chicken finger which are HUGE. The sauce selection is unbelievable. We have been a dozen time and have always had great service. Great for groups and the end of the year sports team parties.

Normally we go here for the best wings in Ashburn.Today we noticed some not so good things.First they raised the price of happy hour wings from 50 to 60 cents a piece. Percentage wise that's a lot.the waitress was pleasent, but she did not pay attention. I requested blue cheese dressing and got ranch. My wife went to the ladies room and said she thought they cleaned it last time in 1978.The wings were just warm and not crispy as before.Come on guys, how do you screw up your main ingredient? We also noticed some of the glass ware is smaller.

Wings were great so was the beer. Service needs improvement. Waitress were busy chatting between themselves rather than attending cusp. We had to find our waitress. Maybe service at bar might be better. Not planning to go back.

  • Nancy F.

Tried the wings here for the first time. Ordered Hot with blue cheese. Wings were not too bad. Had a vinegar flavor which I did not care for. The blue cheese dip was pitiful. Size of the cup was tiny. Couldn't see any hint of blue cheese and it was as thick as glue. Think I'll be sticking with Wingstop from now on. Priced less for better flavor and fresh made creamy blue cheese where there actually is blue cheese crumbles in the dip.

We eat here all the time. I wish I could give a three and a half star rating. If they were more consistent, they could easily get the 4 star, but, some nights are better than others. When they are on, the wings are great, and that's all that really counts. They have a lot of different flavors, and the sauces are good. We also love the loaded fries. When they are done right, they are wonderful. If they sit under the heat waiting to be brought to the table for a while, they don't work so well. I don't drink beer, but they do have a great beer selection for beer drinkers, and hey beer and wings is a natural. They do have cider on the menu, and that's a good thing. If they didn't, I would move along and find another wing place. Cider looks like beer, drinks like beer, if you don't drink beer, cider is the answer. The current cider isn't a winner, I hope that part of the menu rotates soon. I see that mgmt. reads these reviews. Get me some crispin cider on tap, and I'm a 5 star review :) Get some of the crispin limited releases in stock, and I will write you poetry! It would be nice if the servers knew what cider is though, I always wonder if they know what I was drinking when they ask if I want another beer. Oh, and they do take good care of our gluten free needs. The menu doesn't say anything about it, but we eat there all the time, without incident. One crumb will do it, so that's a very good record.

been sitting here for 30 minutes and no beer or wings yet. why the place empty though huh? shouldnt be this hard for a boy to get a tasty ipa when its empty. where my wings at?!

Really good wings, especially boneless wings. They prepare their chicken with a different kind of breeding, tasting not alike the usual wing places. Surprising quality for a dumpy shopping center. Good service and nice employees. Wish this place was located in a nicer shopping center, we would pass by more often and think to go here more often!

stopped by this location last weekend to join my team for a few celebratory beers and a quick lunch. i was a little late arriving to the outing, but the host staff was helpful in finding my group and our server met me as soon as I sat down to take my order. the wings here are great, especially the torrid zone. not to mention, they have a great selection of local craft beers. overall, the service, food, and atmosphere all merit 5 stars in my book.

Good and kinda gross at the same time. Good place to watch the game drink beer and eat wings.

  • Takaki K.

  • Susan T.

    (3)
  • Mary L.

  • Stacy H.

  • Jina Y.

    (3)
  • Rachel W.

The wings are really good. The fries are good too. The service is decent. The only thing I don't like about the place is that it's always packed and a little loud. That's OK though, the food makes up for it.

  • Jay B.

It's a good place for parties for more than 10 people. huge room.

I've been to other places for wings but this is by far the best. Extra crispy, drumstick only! Service was a little slow last night but food was great!

  • John S.

  • Eric S.

  • Rob C.
