OK this is not fast food and it would be great if someone came out and clean the tables the service was blah at best and the food was ok. Onion rings and fries were good but burger was not great

All the food was good. A little slow on the service but I know it's all cooked to order. The rainbows are good. They have a new tigers blood flavor that is yummy. Overall we'll definitely be back for more.

The sandwiches are great. Fries, onion rings, and tacos are tasty. This is a traditional American burger and shake place. Don't expect some massive restaurant burger. The frozen treats are delicious and a local favorite. A cheeseburger with fries and a peach rainbow is always a winner here.

Been coming here since I was a wee lad and never really had a bad experience. The food is just fine, nothing to write home about and definitely not a waste of money either and price is fair. I really don't eat meals here though because I just want their rainbow slushes! They are definitely the best slushes you can get in Utah and they have ice cream which basically just kills Sonics chance of getting any of my business ever. Hint: grape and lime together is actually quite amazing.

This place is great if your into old school quality. My personal favorite is the cheeseburger with a slice of ham- just ask for it. The cherry-coke has its own unique flavor cause its made with black cherry syrup and the rainbows are amazing. You can choose from cherry, grape, lime and tigers blood. Highly recommended.

I was surprised that this place only had a three star average rating. Pace's has been a part of my life growing up and always had us coming back. I don't know what they've done for the past decade but it seems that it's sliding into history. The cheeseburger patty seemed like something in a McDonalds cheeseburger - flat, small, and not fresh. The Oreo shake was alright, but they've downsized. Ordering was slow and confusing - the staff kept getting confused on the orders. Payment was slow (one credit card machine for the three registers). I think the concept has been to keep it the classic old burger joint but it doesn't taste and feel classic. Rather it feels and tastes run down and cheap. I hate to see this place dwindle.

I called to see what time they were closing. Girl says, "Umm probably 9:45 tonight. If you leave now you'll be fine." (I told her what address I was coming from.) So I arrive at 9:42, 3 mins to close. They can clearly see I'm getting my daughter out of her car seat as I was parked right in front of the front door & the girl hurries & turns off the lights & locks the door so I knock and she gives me a dirty look. She opens the door & I tell her I have 3 more minutes to get my daughter an ice cream. She looks over at another girl & they let me in but seemed very annoyed by it. I said, "I called." She said, "Oh, yeah." Girl starts making my shake & hands it to me dripping and walks away. I'm like, umm. . Keep in mind I was holding a toddler on my hip. Nobody asked if they could help as it dropped all over my dress. No "Thanks for coming in!" No nothing. Then the girl says aloud, "Hurry guys, we've gotta cram & finish closing up!" I was so frustrated & it will be the last time I come here. Sad service, sad food appearance. I get that it's annoying when a customer comes in right before closing time but they told me to come otherwise I would've went to Sonic or something. The service was just unprofessional & rude. Oh & they don't accept credit cards unless you spend $5.00+. Peace out Pace's! The only good thing they got goin for them are their Popsicles & you can buy 'em at the grocery store. . Better service there!

I've been coming to this place since 1975. As long as I can remember. I love the food. It is a tradition to come to this place when I am down north. But there costumer service is not good. They are slow and if they mess up. They will not compensate for anything. They need to get with the times. They are the only place that still charges for drink refills. This isn't 1957 anymore. Good places do free refills now a days! They have 2 paces in the ogden Area. They aren't the same owners. But they give free refills and the customer service is so much better. If it was a tradition. I wouldn't come here. But I would go to the ones in ogden.

I grew up going here and I went back there after not being in the area for over 20 years. Order was wrong and then they told us we ordered something else! The hamburger patty was smaller than McDonald's dollar burger! And a larger coke there is the regular size, at most other chain restaurants. A childhood memory DIED! I try to go to the small family owned places, but I won't be back to this one!

Good in a strange way. A friend took me here recently and opened my eyes to local burgers. Ask the dude behind the counter what you should eat... they wont steer you wrong. Oh, they have rockin' popsicles there too. Just ask.

Bump the rating up for Pace's Dairy Ann. I had a great single cheese, fries and onion ring lunch today. Bigger doesn't mean bigger when it comes to a good burger and combination of flavor inside and awesome bun outside made a fine meal, I rate burger in top 20%. The fries are top 5% of what you'll find - they're what people mean when they ask for crispy. Rings were fresh and good. The five people working the place on a Tuesday at lunch were friendly and attentive and music mix from 1975 was great - this place is a gem.

Dairy ann used to be ok but now they are so much worse than ok. Eat here and kick yourself afterwards cause you not only got lousy food you paid for it and you even over paid for it. Eat somewhere else probably anywhere else and you will not regret it.

Had a craving for a Rainbow (vanilla soft serve and flavored slush) last night so a friend and I decided to visit Pace's. As always, I will give their fries and Rainbows five stars. The unfortunate thing about this place is that it is staffed with a bunch of teenagers that really couldn't care less about customer service. We showed up about thirty minutes before close and they had already blocked off the back portion of the store using their high chairs forcing all of their patrons to sit clumped together. Then they were spraying cleaner and sweeping no more than three feet away from where I was cleaning. The three teenagers there were loudly complaining about everything under the sun. One star for the staff at Pace's. No bueno. I would simply suggest get the food to go so that you can avoid the inexperienced staff.

It is what it is. AOK burgers, killer onion rings, aok fries, mikshakes made the old way but from soft serve, lots of sugar items for kiddies, teenagers serve you. It's a zoo, it's confusing and I love it. Fight your way to the counter and get a dipped cone or banana chocolate shake. It just plain fun.

I was VERY disappointed in their horrible customer service today. They don't ascribe to the old-school notion that the customer is always right. They lost me as a customer because they weren't willing to lose a few cents in profit (literally, that was their explanation to me) to satisfy the customer.

This place has been a fixture at this location since long before there was an Interstate 15. What makes it notable is its long history. The food is standard diner fare that has not changed markedly with time. Burgers, dogs, corn dogs, fish & chips, chickenwich, fries, tots, you name it. The late evenings see big-time dessert traffic, but the place is basically a locally produced DQ without the DQ branding. The food is nothing special, but the longevity of this joint is the stuff of lore.

This place was a staple growing up for their awesome Astro Pops (giant delicious popsicles in peach, grape, cherry and lime). My other favorite here is what they call a Rainbow (soft serve vanilla with your choice of peach, cherry, lime, grape slush over the top). The food is ehh- very greasy and just not that good! It's the ice cream and popsicles that do it for me! Whenever I am back in Utah this is a must for me!

Fixture or no fixture, this place needs to clean up their act. As was already stated, the food it standard. You want to enjoy the nostalgia, but something about the cleanliness (of lack of) of this place grosses me out. Not even my wife (who raved about it for a long time) will go back.

This is the ultimate nostalgic burger joint. Going to get a burger, fries and a rainbow feels the same as when I was a kid. You get what you expect at a place like Paces. The burgers, fries and onion rings are old school, the shakes and rainbows are great. Service is slow at times because they tend to employ high school age kids. Frankly I think this is a good thing for the community because they give first jobs to a lot if kids. It just hurts the speed when they are training new kids. I would recommend getting a bag of Paces famous Astro Bars (Popsicles) to go. Peach and lime are my favorite and my wife and kids love the root beer and tigers blood flavors. Although Paces is not your fast paced high end joint you know what you are getting every time. Consistent quality and the perfect "throwback" experience. It's worth the drive to Bountiful to check it out if you've never been.

Great, quality shakes with unfrozen fruit. The drive-in style food is ok, but frozen fries suck:/ I hate paying for stuff that came from a freezer bag. Other than that, I'm in board for the soft serve items

The food is Ok. It's get two stars for nostalgia. I have a hard time understanding that regular burger becomes a deluxe burger when you add pre shredded lettuce. Tomatoes on anything is not even an option because they don't have any. Everything is pretty much overpriced except the popsicles.

Rainbows!!! These are probably the best thing in the world. A slushy and soft serve ice cream. Together!!! Um yes please! Thank you to ever thought if this. The food is your classic hamburger, onion rings, fries, ect. It's good food, but dine in. Buns get soggy super quick from all that delicious grease. Another problem is that they hire high school kids, so sometimes the service isn't great. They're more interested in talking about bobby the new hot boy at school then giving me my rainbow :) and my food. But. I love paces. It's been there forever and will always be good.

After reading a review of Pace's Dairy Ann in the Salt Lake Tribune, I tried it out. I would say the burger was okay but there was nothing special about it. The fries were also just okay. The onion rings were good--they had a thick coating of batter and were made with actual slices of onion, which I liked. The Oreo milkshake was the best part of my meal. It was pretty tasty, but I'm pretty sure it had been made ahead of time and stuck in the freezer because it was frozen solid. That was okay, though, because by the time I had finished my burger and fries it had thawed enough that I could eat it. The service was okay. I overheard a customer in front of us ask one of the employees to wipe down the tables because they were all dirty and there was nowhere for anybody to sit. I think that is something that should be done without a customer having to ask for it. I would go back for a milkshake or to try some of their other frozen treats, like a Rainbow, but I probably wouldn't order any food.

The burger was okay - a decent drive-in burger, and the fries were standard frozen fries. Nothing to write home about. The reason for the two stars is the price. My lunch was over $10 - for adequate food. I didn't go crazy - I ordered a cheese burger, small fries, small drink. They charge you extra for dipping sauce for your fries, and they charge you for a refill on your drink. $.54 for a small refill? Who charges for a refill nowadays? I think the only redeeming thing about Paces is the Pace Bars. They are a delicious frozen treat.
