Ive been here twice. Both times the food was absolutely terrible. The womens restroom is sooo disgusting. My first visit, the toilet plunger and the scrubber used to clean the toilets were leaning up against the wall right next to the sink. The second time, the trash was filled so high, people started throwing trash on the floor and the toilet were all clogged! At the buffet, if you look past the food display, you'll notice that the food prep/kitchen area is in major disarray (trash and food scattered across the floor). I've lost my appetite both times I've been there and i will never go back. They can't even keep their facility clean. That alone grosses me out.

Dinner at Golden Corral at this location is $12?! Huh? No line either?! GET DA PHO OUT OF HERE (that joke would've worked better had it been a pho place but I digress..)!! Seriously though, compared to the Golden Corral's in California, this one was great! No line/wait, decent quality food, friendly (although tired) servers, and enough food to get me through those rough, winter nights for a very (VERY) good price. Therefore, for these reasons, I hereby decree this location receives 3 stars! My one biggest complaint was cleanliness. The floor had crumbs, drips of chocolate (from the chocolate fountain), sauces (ice cream, sauce on food, etc.), and actual chunks of food (looked like some chicken, pieces of beef, and something resembling a run over moose face which may actually have been squash? Needless to say, the bottom of my shoes were crusted in these various nom-strocities that quickly made my journey between islands of food hazardous to say the least. Navigate safely my friends.

I don't understand the good reviews. The food varies from nasty to insipid. The prepared salads are obviously from commercial cartons (insipid) as is the soup. The fried chicken was normal, the baked chcken oversalted, as were the mashed potatoes and the shrimp. The buffet looks bad, looked left out long, and the bread was musty (the dough left out too long) The carrot cake was greasy and the chocolate pie was burned. The service was poor, the server took my empty glass and didn't replace it so I had the nasty burnt taste in my mouth when I left. The salad lettuce was mixed fresh and old. The orchata my wife had really tasted like piss. (I always thought that was just a metaphor) When Chuck A Rama exists locally I cannot understand why anyone eats at Golden Corral twice

The place was crowded. This little girl took all the coconut shrimps out of the plate, and i was left with my thumb in my mouth. Beef steak was decent but too salty. No dessert worth the calories. I ended up eating fried chicken and popcorn shrimp thinking about my life. There was a baby crying non stop at next table. What an experience! I think i have grown wiser.

The place is filthy!!!!! We paid and had to find a seat every table was filthy the floor looks like it's never been vacuumed !!! The buffet area has food spilt every where there is no fresh food! This is the last time I'm coming to this location!!! Never again!!!

The West Valley location can only be described in one word - AWFUL! Cold food, bad service, dirty. Chuck-O-Rama smaller, but better. I don't need to see 500 kinds of food to be happy. Midvale location better but hope it doesn't get like WV.

This place is terrible. I swear the service there all shares one brain! No one there seemed to know anything. They all wandered around aimlessly. I think the carpet was growing something because it was slimy and slippery. I don't think it has been cleaned in weeks. Someone should really notify the health department. The butter was contaminated with other food products. I understand it may be cheaper to buy butter in bulk, but it was nasty. If anything, maybe they need to actually have a manger there, and if there was one there when we were there he/she was no where to be found. Possibly a new manager is in order. Will never again return!

Compared to other buffets, you have a a very large selection of food. That said, the quality of the food at best is just "OK". My favorite is the rolls. If you want to eat a lot of food with no wait. this is the place for you.

Lunch is $8 and change and dinner is $11, you need to purchase drinks but the selection of food is ridiculous ! Anything that you can think off was there, including a chocolate fountain.

It was ok - it's a buffet, and it serves a purpose if you need to bring a big group with varying tastes, who all want to eat RIGHT NOW. Nothing was great - nothing was horrible. The server was nice and attentive. I would have given it three stars beforee I discovered the delicious and cheap Vietnamese places... there is more delicious food to be had for way less money just down the street.

Dirty, bathrooms under construction. Some decent fresh fruit and salad, but most cooked items were terrible quality. However, server surprisingly attentive with clearing plates and clearing dirty plates. Buffets are not my thing anyway, bit this was terrible. I will only go back if it an elderly relatives dying wish.

Not going to lie, delicious food, ESPECIALLY for a buffet, but not gonna lie, the customer service kind of gets ridiculous. Every time we've gone there our waiter person forgets about us so we rarely get refills or more rolls and the ground has lots of food and the bathrooms are HORRIBLE. Guess I shouldn't complain much though when you don't expect too much.

Why is everyone giving 2 stars to buffets?! Go to sleep! Hahahah; on some realness, the food there is great, and at least the deserts are always switched up, unlike those ghetto chinese restaruants with only stale cheetos right next to the even staler crushed... not even oreos lol. I just have to say that it's busy quite often, and that if you don't raise your hand or shout, you're pretty much not getting a refill. So remember to be extra loud!!!! Oh! And I love the birthday song!! "I don't know but I've been told, (x2) someone here is getting old, (x2) Sound off, one, two......" Ummm, something like that. I've shared some awesome birthdays with my brothers!

As a disclaimer, I would like the reader to know and understand that I am rating this particular restaurant for their Breakfast service only. Breakfast is only served on the weekends, beginning at 8:00 AM. As some others have stated, this is as buffet as it gets. There is certainly no flair, or any flavors of foods that are very enjoyable. At 8:00 in the morning, the salad bar was prepared and ready to go, with the typical salad bar toppings. Considering it was breakfast, they had some added salad bar items such as the grapefruit and orange wedges. Moving along, there are biscuits and gravy and a prep cook who will make you eggs to order, omelettes, or waffles. I had a sausage, mushroom and cheese omelette and I struggled to eat the whole omelette due to its taste. For some reason, the mushrooms had a "metallic" taste, the cheese didn't taste right and the egg part of the omelette was to oily, per se. Moving along, there is another pan of gravy for biscuits and gravy. Further, they have some chicken fried steak patties to which I took one and added some gravy atop the patty. The chicken fried steak patty itself was okay, but the gravy was way too thin. Though I didn't choose to eat either the sausage patties, or bacon - I am going to comment that the sausage patties looked dried up and hard, whereas the bacon looked overcooked, too crisp, and greasy. Moving along, there is yet another plate of biscuits and a pan of chipped beef and gravy. I did take a dip into this and was very impressed with the freshness of the biscuit, the quality of the gravy and the taste of the chipped beef. I also was able to take a pork chop and some ham slices.... both of which were decent. I will give my thumbs up to the service workers / employees of this establishment. Though the restaurant and food itself was hum drum and without flair - the workers seemed to be on top of it and happy to assist in any manner possible. Overall, I think I would probably choose to go to another breakfast restaurant. But, I would probably choose to come back here to try their Dinner service.

I don't know what happened to my first review here, but our second time? Mediocre food has gone downhill a bit. Son really wanted to come here. I think he was even disgusted this time. GC, CLEAN YOUR RESTROOMS!!! I was SO grossed out, I couldn't eat anymore. You should be ashamed.

I wouldn't give this place any stars. Disgusting and the staff is rude. I waited for steak and never got it because he had them cooking for other people. The food looked like it'd been sitting out forever. Mashed potatoes and gravy both could've used some salt for flavor. There was none. I only like the mac n cheese. I got 2 brownies. I bit into it and it wasn't cooked all the way so I pushed my plate aside, when my waitress (her name was Janis I believe ) came she looked at me all annoyed and said "you're not gonna eat the second one or the other half ? " I replied no its undercooked. She rolled her eyes and literally scoffed at me. I didn't tip her. That is the first time I have never tipped anyone and I understand how underpaid servers are. This place needs to evaluate why they're even in business and reassess their staff. I also think there's possible health code violations because the place isn't very clean. I watch a staff member "wipe" down the buffet but she just lightly dragged her cloth over it and there was still food and grime to be wiped This place is in a busy location so they should step up, its unacceptable. I worked in dinning and this would never fly in the restaurant I worked in.
