Diabetics at Pizza Hut

Pizza is neither a great meal nor the worst for diabetes. All you need is some fact check and monitoring while ordering your pizza. Diabetics can opt for thin crust or skinny pizza at Pizza Hut and avoid the cheese topping to cut down on the excess fat and sodium. If you have diabetes, then ensure to check your portion size when you order a pizza. One or max. two slices are enough. You can also avoid meat if possible and go for wings as a meat option.

Foods to Avoid at Pizza Hut for Diabetics:

You must avoid Meat Lovers Pizza with Original Pan Crust as it contains over 1000mg sodium and will add 470 calories in your meal. You should also skip Super Supreme Pizza Large Original Pan Slice which is too high in sodium and fat. Chicken wings are often tempting but you must control and restrict yourself from ordering Traditional Honey BBQ Bone-in Wings as it can add up to your sugar levels if you eat too many. On average, a person orders or consumes six chicken wings pieces in a day.

Sides must be avoided at all costs especially if it's Bacon Cheddar Fries with Ranch Dipping Cup for its high sodium content. You must also avoid New York Style Cheesecake with Applesauce as dessert as one slice of this dessert item contains 86g sugar. Pizza Hut also offers other Italian dishes such as Pasta. However, you must skip Spaghetti with Meat Sauce and Meatballs and Garlic Bread as it is too high in sodium and sugar.

High Cholesterol at Pizza Hut

Whether large, medium or small, a pizza can boost your cholesterol levels instantly. You shouldn't eat more than one slice of any pizza your order at Pizza Hut. If you're concerned with your high cholesterol, then it is wise to take your friends to Pizza Hut and share pizza among them slice by slice. You can also try pasta at Pizza Hut but ensure that you are not adding any dressing or extra cheese as you order pasta.

Great pizza! PizzaRev is fully customizable pizza - all for the same price! One topping or all the toppings - same price! $7.99 And it's good! This has become a frequent stop for me. I like starting with one of their "our way" pizzas and customizing it from there. They make each pizza fresh just like a subway setup and then it's into the fire oven and they bring it right out to you. It's directly across from Zuppas and in the same building as Rumbi. Give it a shot! You won't be disappointed

Amazing! Went here during their opening week, and the service was amazing! All the employees were very helpful and obviously well trained. They had some great suggestions when I built my own pizza, I ended up mixing the marinara and white sauces together and putting a mix of 5 different cheeses on my pizza. I will be returning and very soon!

When I rolled into PizzaRev, it was well past lunch, and the place was nearly empty - good for me, as I was ushered through the line, and given specialized attention - "supah stah!" I chose the BBQ Chicken base (a list of combinations recommended to diners) and piled on veggies to compensate for my lack of attention to the motherly advice, which I'm sure we can all atest to. All in all, the pizza tasted great! It helped that my friend was there as well, and kept me company as I savored the taste of my Frankenstein experiment. Note, don't put on "too" many things, since it kind of overpowers the pizza, and sometimes doesn't cook all the way through. Will definitely be back again for more! Maybe next time, I'll try the "dessert pizza" - an oreo sensation that looks like a pizza! HMM, intruiging!

I went here with a group of friends. My food was ultimately good, but I was kept waiting at the register, despite the lack of any line, by an inattentive employee who was preoccupied with other apparently more important tasks. The employees also gave one person in my party the wrong pizza and didn't bring a salad until the end of the meal, despite several requests. In short, Good food and menu. Poor service. Hope they improve in the future.

A decent little pizza joint that fuses good pizza with a "fast food" mentality. Some pizzas on the menu pre-designed to keep ordering easier but the kicker here is that you can design your OWN pizza for the same price, regardless of toppings. Here's the skinny (or not so skinny if you load it up): Pick your crust ( they are all personal size and Gluten free is available. Pick your sauce. Pick your cheese. Pick your toppings. Here's the kicker. The price is $7.99 for a pie no matter how many toppings you choose. Even the "specialized" pizzas are $7.99. They offer salads for the lettuce eaters in your party and have some desserts as well. One of those fancy Coke machines that lets you tailor your sugary beverage needs and a few beers at very reasonable prices. They even have wine by the glass. Not a lot of wine selection but, hey, it's a fast food pizza place.

My hubber's and I really enjoyed this pizza experience. Pizza in general falls into my husbands three main food groups. Bread Cheese And meat. We really liked the build your own option. Husband got regular crust and I got gluten free. We both got red sauce, but I got reduced fat mozzarella with feta and he got regular. Both made delicious pizza and the meat choices were excellent. Staff was friendly and seemed happy to be working, which I can appreciate. The crusts both came out thin and crispy, a nice change to our usual favorite - papa murphys. We will surely be back, as we go to the megaplex every Sunday and it's nice to have a delicious pizza option before our movie starts.

Really good pizza, fresh ingredients and delicious sauce. My big complaint and the reason for 3 stars is their ability to keep track of pizza's. I work close, and we like to do either call in or online ordering. 75% of the time, they lose someone's order and we're stuck waiting an extra 15 minutes for them to make another pizza, leaving everyone else's cold. This even happened when we dined in once, they sent one of our pizza's with another person's take out order. We've never been offered a discount or anything for all of this, but I keep going back because they make a yummy pizza. Just be prepared for a little frustration.

Pizza Rev, I believe Bdubs owns them. I feel the options are good but the presentation lacks. The restaurant was clean. And they have Coke freestyle, which I like. Staff was friendly even if they are new and training. Monday dinner didn't look busy at all, only 6 other people there. Toppings were mixed together on the line but they did look fresh. The final product was burnt and the toppings were not evenly spread out. See pictures attached. Not bad, but Pizza Rev needs some attention to detail.

Acceptable service. Nothing about this place is soft. Hard parking, hard seats, hard crusts... The chicken has zero flavor of its own, so don't bother with it. Nothing about this place makes me WANT to come back, but nothing to suggest staying away. Although the seating is highly uncomfortable and location of the drink machine does betray their desire to get you to leave.

Went here with my bf and his sister. Overall we liked the pizzas. The bf got the rev'd with added grilled chicken and it was pretty yummy. The BBQ chicken is really good as well except there were a little too much red onions. Overall the menu offers a lot of variety and you could create your own pizza with unlimited toppings.

I got the bbq chicken pizza. Overall, pretty good, but the chicken was dry. Their sauce is really good, though, and totally made up for it. I'll be back for sure.

Here we have another one pizza chain sort of built on the Chipotle model, akin to Pizza Studio. I'd definitely recommend reading my review there (Foothill Village), as elements apply. This is the same kind of place, though there are differences. This one does a very good job of moving people through lines. The only time I saw the line slow down was when a bunch of people came through at once and at the Freestyle machine. That Coke Freestyle machine was another difference and one I kind of wish Pizza Studio would adopt, actually. I don't remember Pizza Studio serving beer or wine, but you can get that here also, albeit with very limited choices. Rather than the chaos of that place with staff, this one was very smoothly and very efficiently run. The interior decor is a bit nicer at this location, but the seats were equally uninviting. Evidently neither places is really geared for patrons to spend a lot of time in. Aside from toppings differences, when it comes to pizza, there were more choices at Pizza Studio and the pizza itself was frankly better. The pizza here is bland, which nearly defies belief that a place that offers capers can somehow have bland ingredients and sauce, but there you go. You will need to take liberal advantage of the dried peppers and cheese here. The other main difference in the pizzas was that these, instead of having tiny divots, were pressed flat, but there was also a very odd off-taste to the crust. I'm not sure if this was from the press or the metal sheets or possibly the oven itself, but it was a bit distracting, though not to the extent of the pizza I had at Este, which rendered the entire crust inedible. I think this one is also slightly more than Pizza Studio, but was definitely not of the same quality. All in all, this was a very average pizza, somewhat over-priced and I don't see it as likely that I would intentionally come here again. With not a lot of options in the area, though, now that Sbarro's seems out of the Valley Fair Mall, it's probably the only game in that area of town if you're in the mood for that type of food. Decent, but ultimately underwhelming overall.

A great concept pizza joint that allows for you to choose preselected pizzas that are featured on the menu board or the ability to craft your own with as many selectable toppings as you choose. The selections for toppings are decent and better than a lot of the chains in terms of quality. The crust is thin and crispy. They offer beer selections and have a freestyle coke machine. The staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely a great place for the kids to build their own pizza.

I love this place! 7.99 for a medium pizza any toppings. The staff greated us add soon as we walked in. It's a fun place great price!!

I cannot say enough good things about this pizza place! At first I thought it seemed a little gimmicky- a personal pizza for $8.99 seemed pricey for a tiny pizza. But I am so glad we tried it! It is no small pizza- 2 adults could easily share one. They have a few options of pizzas they can make but the build your own is the way to go. With about 40 toppings, you can make your ideal pizza! I love that they offer ricotta cheese because it is my favorite and makes my pizza so creamy and decadent. And the sage sausage was really good! Lots of meat choices and plenty of veggies! And they listen! If you want extra olives, they will give them to you. If you want your arugula on the side so it can be added after the pizza is cooked, they will do that too. And they don't act put out if you have special requests. They staff was friendly and willing to answer questions and make suggestions. I only wish I had tried a desert pizza as the oreo one looked AMAZING! We will be going back to this place time and time again!

This is my absolute favorite place to eat! There is never a long wait, even on weekends. The food and service is always amazing! I love everything about Pizza Rev, including the dessert pizza! The only thing I'd like to see added would be a points card of some sort, for us regular customers!

It was alright for a fast casual pizza place. I think Pie Five and Pizzeria Limone are much better. It got three stars for fast, friendly service, super clean location, and good ingredients.

I seriously downloaded this app so I could right this review, that is how awesome this restaurant is. They make the food right in front of you, and it's delicious and good quality food. I also love how clean it is not only where they make the food, but literally everywhere. I will definitely be going back!

Truly excellent pizza. Great value for the price, $8.99. Every bet as good or better than what we got in Venice and Milan on my trip last month. Thin crispy crust, never overbaked.. excellent toppings and as generous as you want. Toppings aren't overcooked and greasy. I haven't tried the Monday special deal but it looks wonderfull. I wish they had a store closer to downtown.

  • Dean L.

Bland. The sauce tasted like strait tomato paste and the crust was sad. I felt like I just paid $10 for someone to heat up and serve me a frozen pizza. It's obvious the toppings are not high quality. Pizzeria Lemone is a way better alternative for the same price.

Very poor service. 10 employees just standing around and goofing off. Not impressed at all. Even the manager was very unprofessional. Won't go back to this location. Food was horrible too.
