This review is solely on the deliciousness of the food. Not the service or the atmosphere. I love the Orange chicken and fried rice. The sweet and sour chicken is also delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the plate sizes are huge!

Years ago we ate here and for some weird reason we stopped going but I have no idea why....Tonight we went there for a dinner and we got a meal for 2 that had Pork Chow Mein and Orange Chicken w/ ham fried rice! WOW...what a delicious meal and the servings were huge! We both ate up and still had leftovers to bring home! I'm kicking myself now for not remembering how yummy this place is! We'll be back!

Best place for comfort Chinese food :) This place has been around as far as I can remember. The owner remembers my exact order every time I stop in (D17 with soft noodles). It's always been a quiet place I can go to after a long day at work and not be looked at funny if I'm dining alone. Side note: The owner is Vietnamese and makes the best flavorful Phó!

Wow! I can't even express how bad this place is. I can get past some neglectful service, screaming babies, sticky soy sauce bottles and filthy pepper shakers if the food is good. My wife and I both ordered the sesame chicken dinner combo. The fried rice was over cooked to the point of chewy, the chicken (I think it was chicken. Meow?) had to be the cheapest grizzle packed meat they could possibly buy, wasn't even able to cut with a fork, one bite was all I would dare eat. The combo also came with an egg roll, we didn't dare venture into those. We would advise against eating at this place, the food quality is very very poor and the dining room isn't very clean.

Went for lunch. Got served cool hot and sour soup. Couldn't even take another sip. The food portion was generous but average. Interior reminded me of an episode of "Golden Girls".

Three stars for the pho, which is tasty and cheap. There are better places for pho, but this is close to work so makes a fast lunch. The Chinese dishes here are mediocre or worse - greasy or swimming in corn starch gravy. I had the beef & broccoli last time I was there - it should have been called "lots of broccoli and a little beef" and the sauce was not good. I had to cover it in Sriracha hot sauce to make it palatable. But the pho broth is tasty.

We've been coming to Wok King for years and always love their Sesame Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken, House Special Lo Mein, and Cashew Chicken. The portions are huge, so we always have leftovers which seem to taste even better the next day. We usually order take out.

Go elsewhere for pho! It's just tasteless broth with cilantro, onion, and meatballs. I gave it 3 tries, 3 tries, and have not gone back! I think I kept going because it's so close to my apartment but I don't even know what to say. I think one of the 3 times I also tried the chinese food, and it wasn't good either. I can't give it 1 star because I don't want to give my first 1 star to them. They need to remodel and revamp their menu and flavor in the dishes, and then I might go back.

CHEWED UP CRACKERS INTO MY DAUGHTER'S SOUP, NO THANKS! my mother and I have loved this place for years, we started going there last year, once a week, for the cheap pho soup, we got close with the servers, she later quit, and she was our favorite, she told us the manager was stealing her tips, after that we would personally give her our tip so her manager couldn't steal it, after that the manager was very rude to us, the pho is great, the chinese food, not so much, the service, not great, and there is a high turn over and now we know why, we haven't been there in a year. also there was a time where i thought i would vomit, i watched an older lady, probably a relative of the owner, she came to drop off our kids egg drop soup with a mouthful of crackers and she dropped the crumbs right out of her mouth into my daughter's soup!!!!! no thanks!

The food is ok but the service is getting worse and worse if not just plain rude. The only thing on the kids menu is gross chicken nuggets. When your 3 year old doesn't want what you are ordering, you have to buy him a $9 meal which he takes a couple bites of. Their leftovers are disgusting and we always end up throwing them away. You feel bad for the servers because they are always getting yelled at when they go back to the kitchen especially when you make a simple request like "no mushrooms". Afterwards the server will come back to your table and tell you that you can't make changes because that's the way it's made. I used to go get pho once a week but I think I'll stop going. Like I said it doesn't get better only worse.

Husband and I decided to try this place since it's local, right down the way from us. The 1 good review says try the sesame chicken, we did. We boxed up the food and left. We debated saying something. And decided it probably wouldn't change a thing. The salt and pepper shakers have to be 50 years old and NEVER cleaned. Same goes for everything in this place. Maybe it's me, and I'd love to know, but this place needs to be closed.

I've got to agree with you other yelpers-the service here has taken a terrible turn for the worse. I still stand by my assertion that the food is great but the service is nearly unbearable.

I've ordered several food-to-go. Since reading lots of reviews about this place regarding time, I've order 1 hour early. When I got there, my food is ready to go, which it's nice. Here are the run down on why I rated this place 2 stars: Pho-WHERE ARE THE MEAT?!?! There were 3 pieces of beef slices on top of the noodle. The favor of the broth is not more than pre-packaged ramon noodle beef favor. Noodle is sloggy as ever! Lemon not lime? WTH?!?! I want limes, not lemon! I love lemon, but it's not for pho. The reason why I want lime it is because the lime makes the favor of the broth better. If you prefer lemon, then don't take my word for it. Wong-King Fried Rice-Where's the favor to this? This fried rice is the most tasteless fried rice I have ever eating. Special Pan Fried Noodle-Lots of noodle, but not enough veggie or meat. There were other food that I've ordered, but they seemed okay and it would be too boring for you to read. Lord, my husband told me to NEVER EVER waste money on this place again because it is not worth any penny and I won't ever again because these days it's hard to make any penny and to go waste on food that's not worthed to stuffed in your tummy.

Very basic Chinese, it isn't anything special persay. Interior isn't the cleanest or very nice either. Better options in my opinion, fairly cheap.

Came here on Labor Day afternoon. Restaurant wasn't too busy, and service was great. Seated and given water within 30 seconds, and after ordering, food was out in two minutes. Servings were generous and food (moo goo gai pan and sweet and sour chicken) was good. Can't beat it for a $6 lunch.

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
