I live way too close to this place! This is a great family run restaurant. I always have great friendly service, it's gotten to the point were they recognize my husband and I when we come in. Their pho is my favorite thing on the menu and some of the best I've had. I also like everything else but the massaman curry must be noted as being amazing! They do orders to go and I've done that before when my husband was sick and he wanted pho. I've had bad take out experiences before but they separate everything so nothing gets soggy and give you plenty of sauces too! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone! I've taken a few friends and they've all loved it.

I don't know how I have lived without knowing about this place. Especially when I love so dang close!! Five stars. Hands down. My first time was going was with a large group from work and despite the large group and prime lunch time on a Friday, the food was nothing short of fabulous and the service was great!! The place is nice and clean and in my opinion, well decorated. Great for either a casual lunch or a date night. They offer a large menu with classic Thai food. I know they also offer pho but I don't plan on getting my pho fix there (Asian fusion restaurants kind of sketch me out) im just going to stick with their Thai food. I know. I'm judging that before trying it. Judge me. The Tom Kha Gai soup is the best and to die for! The Pad Si Eaw was also fantastic and of course the Yellow Curry made my list! I've also done take out from there. It's pretty much perfect for when you've had a long day and don't want to cook!

I first walked through their doors weeks ago on a cold morning when I was having some auto work done down the street. It was early and I hadn't had my coffee yet. I was saddened to see that they didn't have coffee on the menu, but I went ahead and asked the waitress if they had any. And boy, am I glad that I did! So tasty! On a later visit they told me that it was just an instant coffee from Thailand. I realize that instant coffee is somewhat of a taboo for Americans, but I recommend it anyways! I love their pho. I've tried a couple other dishes and they've all been good, but there's something about their pho that I love. The first time I ordered it, the waitress came over and asked me "You don't like it spicy?" (It was obvious that I hadn't added any of the numerous sauces they had brought out with it.) I admitted that I wasn't 100% sure on what the sauces were nor was I certain about how much to add. I then asked her how she likes her pho. She showed me exactly what she adds and now I have to do the same thing every time I visit. So delicious. Pho is my go-to when I'm not feeling great, or if it's a chilly morning, or when I'm hungry, or when I feel like eating. It's good. Go try it! The sauce for their spring rolls is a bit more chocolaty and has less of a kick than I'm used to, but it was good as well. I look forward to trying even more of their menu... if I could convince myself to stop ordering their pho every time....

The best Thai food in Utah, hands down. The curries are incredible- so flavorful with the perfect balance of sweet and savory and spicy. Mmm. Everything we've ever had here has been top notch, but we are addicted to the curries, so that's what we always order these days. We've been eating at Thai Delight for years, and have only the highest praise for the service and the food. We love the family who owns and runs the restaurant. Really great people. The restaurant has been recently renovated and expanded, btw. It's updated, but still comfy and inviting.

This place is killer. Didn't know what to expect here in the Salt Lake area but we found a gem. The staff is very helpful and fun and the food is out of this world! I recommend the tom kha gai soup and the massaman !

short list ...had the Pad ke Maow, at first I was surprised by the color of the dish , I am used to it being a little darker with that char flavor. But the lovely server explained how they made it with a different kind of chili and it was delicious! Service was friendly and knowledgable, food came out in a timely manner and was reasonably price. I can't wait to try other items on the menu the next time I'm in town.

This place is seriously so yummy! It's slightly Over priced but for Thai food this good in will of to pay the price! They have the best yellow curry and their service is always on point. I don't mind going to pick it up and bring it home and they always get my order right which is huge! The food is even better the second day!

  • Karen K.

First off... Tofu Pad Thai was great! I asked for Veggie Pad Thai with extra egg and got Tofu Pad Thai with little egg and no veggies... However, I never looked at the menu, so if their Veggie Pad Thai is their Tofu Pad Thai with no veggies it would have been nice to understand that while placing the order asking specifically for Veggie Pad Thai extra egg. I'm not one to complain so just make sure you check your order! The woman was very friendly! Great on the phone and in person! I certainly recommend this place!

I had a craving for pho and wanted to try somewhere new, they only had one option which isn't a big deal just wasn't what I was expecting. It came with a ton of noodles which was great but I don't think I'd get the pho here again. I'll have to give it another shot maybe try the curry or the pad Thai.

Delicious massaman! Huge portions. Great shrimp spring rolls. Tried the Thai ice tea and didn't care for it. The women that owns it is very helpful and sweet. She's got grown kids that are there occasionally and aren't much help. She is a gem though. Knows different little sauces to try. Helps a lot.

The best Thai in the Salt Lake valley hands down. I would highly recommend the red chicken curry and the chicken sate, although everything is excellent.

We have been meaning to try this place for a long time but just never got around to it. I am still kicking myself for waiting so long. The food is excellent. If you like noodles and curry the yellow curry noodle bowl is awesome. My girlfriend had the Vietnamese Pho bowl and it was excellent too.

My wife and I love this place, we usually go for the Tom Kha Gai (Chicken Coconut Soup) which comes with a HUGE bowl of rice. We've had other dishes there as well, all of which have been rather delicious. The restaurant is clean, but it feels cheap, but then again, that's part of the allure. The dishes are fairly priced in comparison to portion size. Our family of 4 usually buys two or three dishes and/or an appetizer, and we split them all. By the end, we're full and have paid anywhere from $30-45. The service is usually friendly and always fast. Here's a tip for you though, the dishes tend to be on the spicy side (though our Tom Kha Gai has always been just right), so if you're not into spicy you'll want to make sure to order it mild.

BEST CURRY EVER! Have come here for years and it is simply the best! Great prices, great people and exceptional food!

  • Bill C.

Came here with some coworkers. Service was friendly, fun and delightful. We let the owner order for us, and every dish was awesome. Best Thai I've had in Utah. Location isn't great, unless you live or work on the west side of the valley. Still worth the drive though. Every single one of my co-workers was commenting for days about how good everything was. Will definitely be back.

Went back for dine in with some girl friends last night. We all got something different and it was all amazing! We had massaman curry- medium- which is kinda of spicy if your a wimp. Some of my friends were thinking it was too hot. Perfect for me and the spice doesn't linger. Sesame chicken- different than most I've had at Chinese places but so good!! Green curry medium was very good! I'd never had green curry before but I was impressed. #51 pad see ew I think? I can't remember what it was exactly called but it was sooo good!! We also got cream cheese wontons for an appetizer. I recommend everything! It will not disappoint. Can't wait to go back again!

I love this place! I come here at least once a week the food is excellent well priced good portions the location is perfect newly renovated clean and super close to my house.

I wasn't impressed. I do a lot of Thai (Many awards winning) this place was mediocre, pad Thai I like with options, many Thai also ask how spicy you want it. This place gives you what you get, dry chicken, drunken noodles, the coconut curry is also lacking flavor. Def not original home made, more pre made. If your a "let's try some up new" person, check em out, I've gotton mixed reviews. The atmosphere was mixed, service was good semi friendly. Prices were good and fair but drinks (soda etc, speacialty was way more) don't need to cost 2.50? Really?? 3 stars, could improve. Fyi : they are remodeled for more space, tables etc, could improve or lack big in service..

  • Joe Y.

Massaman curry seems to be the popular dish. Spice level 3 out of 5 is just about right if your use to Thai food. The curry was over flavored with peanuts so be warned if peanut is not your thing. My go to for testing out Thai places is always the Pad Kee Mao also known as Drunken Noodles. It came with good portion and not overly sauced like other places. The food taste great here but the cafe can definitely use a renovation.

    1. Thai Fried Rice -can definitely tell that they use fish sauce--very fragrant, which can be a good thing if you like fish sauce -quite delicious: 4.5/5 2. Soup--it was the one with the cononut, lemongrass and chicken -ordered the spiciest and it wasn't that spicy but was quite delicious though -could use more fresh veggies in the soup instead of just canned the nice part? it came with a large pot of rice for the two of us to share. Rice was cooked well. 4.5/5 -1 star for the bathroom. It was a bit awkward walking into the bathroom since it's in the kitchen Hopefully they get enough business to build a bathroom outside of the kitchen. I felt a bit bad for the cooks.

We stopped to take out dinner on a mad rush from Salt Lake City to Elko, Nevada at eight o clock. Three minutes and we were on our way. But from what I saw of the inside, I was very impressed. It looked really clean and the plates and bowls were really cool. The had elaborate design, and I really liked what I saw. I had the Pad Thai which was absolutely delicious with the spicy sauce they give you. (Although the portion size was huge!) The egg rolls were also amazing. I would definitely come try this place out for real if I have more time in the Salt Lake City area

I had the pai Thai and my wife had pho. Tasted very authentic and they were very friendly. I will be visiting more often. The spices are perfect and the service very fast.

Not bad, definitely Americanized but I loved the peanut sauce and our waitress was out standing. The building itself is a little off putting.

The reviews for this place dont lie. I live in sugarhouse and have several closer thai restaurants near me. This is hands down the best one in the valley. Very fresh and they are committed to food quality. I would give 6 stars if I could.

This place has the best Thai food in Salt Lake City hands down . Amazing food and a very friendly staff. Recommend this place to anyone who wants a traditional taste of Thailand.

Thai Delight lives up to its name as a small family run restaurant in a strip mall tucked away from the heavy traffic of Bangerter Highway. It wouldn't be described as fancy, but what it lacks in flash and style it makes up for in taste and warmth. We generally stick with the old favourites of Potstickers, steamed rice, Penang, and Drunken Noodles, but we have also tried some other various dishes - all of which have been delicious. Just recently we ordered the Pad Thai with chicken and tofu, and unlike a lot of other Pad Thai's that can be a little too sweet, this was perfect, and the noodles were not at all sticky. So if you find yourself on the west side with a craving for Thai, stop in and whatever you order you are sure to be delighted.

  • Steve W.

The best Thai in Salt Lake and probably the entire state. The menu has all the classic Thai dishes, but this family-run cafe adds something extra to each dish. A little more flavor, a little more love and that makes it truly extraordinary. The family who owns Thai Delight makes you feel like you are in their home. They all welcome every guest and treat you like family. A truly sublime dining experience.

Great eats! They recently renovated and have over twice as much seating. You won't regret stopping by. My wife loves the coconut soup and the Pad Thai is great too! Massaman curry is amazing!

  • Tiffani R.

My boyfriend and I stumbled upon this place late one night on our way home. My boyfriend is the pickiest eater! So, I was pleasantly surprised when he said the rice was cooked perfectly to his liking and his sesame chicken was really fantastic. He is usually pretty "meh, it's alright" in general about food. So him liking it is pretty good. I had the pad Thai and it was really good, as well. It was a good sized portion for the price.

  • Daniel K.

I had Massaman curry, my wife had Chow mein and egg rolls. That, plus tip we were out for around $36. You get 5 egg rolls for $8. Do NOT do it. My wife and I agreed, her dish was pretty terrible. The Massaman curry was decent, but lacked some of the "zing" which I have previously experienced with that dish at other establishments. For what you get, it is overpriced, mediocre food. The atmosphere is casual, with no-so-casual pricing. We won't be back. True rating is about a 1.5 stars. I was seriously disappointed by how this place is represented on Yelp. I rounded up to 2 stars because I had to, AND because I'm generous.

I've been a regular for years! Their massaman and fried egg rolls have been a must that I have recommended to everyone who have been interested in trying this place or trying something new. Also, they have PHO! So for those of you who are like me and is making it a goal to try every bowl of Pho offered in this state, don't skip on this one. It is on the positive side of my list and has consistently stayed there. But as always, try it and judge them for yourselves.

  • Ashton J.

The pho I ordered was jam-packed with noodles & meat! They don't skimp on ingredients here. All five of us were super happy with what we ordered. I would highly recommend this place!

I used to go to Thai Delight years ago and it seems it has gone downhill. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Nothing special. Will never go back. Service was ok, but food did not taste good at all. Ordered Pad See Ew and Curry

this is my favorite place to go for Thai in SLC!! SO yummy EVERYTIME. They do not dissapoint. Huge portions. The massaman & pad thaiare my favorite & of course the sticky rice with mango :)

My favorite Thai food restaurant in UT by far, inexpensive and delicious. Try the beef waterfall with cabbage and if you like spicy get Thai spcy

Excellent food & service! We ordered Massaman curry, Tom Kha Soup and Pad Thai. I don't like spicy so I ordered mild & it was perfect! I'll be back!

  • Sara M.

This little restaurant is tucked away in a strip mall but a friend recommended it based on past experience. I have to say it is authentic and spicyhot! We got a beef salad app that is delightful, gyoza, a green curry and a stir fry. Everything was great and the owner waiting on us was attentive. Total bill wasb $32 for 3 of us. We will be back many times to try everything.

  • Larz M.

Two stars. Both for the 4-star food. No stars for the awful service. 30 minutes sitting with menus before water was given, and orders asked for. The food came out quickly afterwards, and was done really well. Our appetizer was especially good. I saw checks go to a table, but ours was not one of them. Again, a very long waiting period when you'd assume a water refill would come or they'd check to see whether the food was good or they'd bring the check. None of those things happened. I get more warmth from a walmart cashier than I got from paying for my bill. May I have a box? No. No box. It seems my experience, based on other reviews, is an isolated one. Still, it was real. Real disappointing.

Friendly service, small family owned business. The daughter was particularly nice and accommodating. She probably had the best recommendations and knows how to read the guests to point them in the right direction. The appetizers were not very good, they have an appetizer sampler plate of fried foods (egg rolls, won ton skins) and this was just average, nothing spectacular. The stir fry dishes were ok but not to the standards of the S.F. Bay Area, canned corn and the slices of meat were very thin, sauces were a little watery....yes even the beef waterfall, which is their best stir fry dish just did not have the content. I would say the highlight were the curries, they were all acceptable and the servings were of decent size with the right balance of vegetables, meat, and curry sauce. Pad Thai was good from a flavor standpoint but the proteins (chicken, shrimp) were thin to nonexistent. Only one dessert was offered, mango sticky rice which was a little above average in flavor, but presentation was below average. This establishment is a $$, not a $ place.

Wow! What a find! I had no idea this place was here and I sure am glad that one of my clients did! Thai Delight was highly recommended and I couldn't be more pleased. I always order tom kha gai soup to gauge the quality of a Thai restaurant and this place had some of the best I've had. They spiced it up pretty good, which made it extra special and tasty. Some of the dishes came out in sterling silver pots and platters and bowls and the soup had a flaming volcano in the middle to keep it scorching hot. Cool! We were a party of six, so we each picked a dish and shared it all family style. The shrimp/squid dish was hot, spicy and delectable and all 6 items were equally delicious. None of us could pick a favorite. Yum! The service was super cool and friendly and the prices were ridiculously LOW. We got out of there, stuffed, for under $70, including the tip. I can't wait to go back again!

Some of the best thai food I've had, not just in Utah but anywhere. I recommend coming here when you're in the salt lake area. It's worth the drive!

  • Belange H.

Our favorite Thai place in Utah! The owner is very friendly and nice. We had a a group of 6 and when we ordered the chicken satay (which comes with 5 chicken sticks), she gave us an extra one so that we could all have one. Our favorites are the pad seeiw, waterfall beef salad, and red curry. Food comes in generous portions at reasonable prices.

    (5)
  • J B.

Fantastic thai food. Very generous portions, whereas other places give you half of what you get here. The decor and atmosphere is average at best, so don't come here expecting a luxurious setting - it is all about the food. Their curry is fantastic.

    (5)
  • Michelle K.

Yum! If you are searching for delicious thai food, go to Thai Delight Cafe! We came for lunch with a group of 6 and there was plenty of open seating for us. The service was very fast which made this a good lunch option even when we needed to get back to work quickly. Of the 6 dishes we ordered, there wasn't a single one that I didn't like. Everything was very flavorful and fresh. My favorite dishes from what we got were the orange chicken, pad king, and a curry. I wish that they had a lunch menu with smaller plates but it appears they use one menu all day. The other thing I'd change is that the restroom is back in the kitchen which was slightly strange. This restaurant has really good food hidden in a strip mall. Its worth the drive if you are not close by but craving thai.

  • Anne Marie S.

This is a good thai restaurant. Service needs something to be desired. The food is very good tho. Great flavors and good portion size. I've come here several times and its consistently good food. I've never been disappointed here. Great little Thai spot.

  • Sayamuny R.

I am Laotian and my mother makes the best Thai food. However, I had a friend visiting from out of state and was craving Thai. I'm glad we found this place -Atmosphere is very mellow not overly decorated but great little statues of elephants and Buddhist relics. 4.5/5 on cleanliness only because bathroom was in the back just little ghetto, but very clean. -Food was amazing, chicken satay came with perfect blend of peanut sauce and pickled veggies on the side. Green curry was delicious, not overly sweet, and lots of bamboo shoots -Service received our food in less then 5 minutes, refills on water with out asking. Not typical with Asian restaurants. :-) Overall really enjoyed the food and will becoming again when I don't want to clean up after guests.

  • Rich D.

Too bad it's in West Jordan and not next to my house. This place makes some great Thai food. All the curries are fantastic, yes I have had them all more than a few times. From the papaya salad to the mango rice, every dish has been excellent. We have been a few times in a large group and just asked to bring us a variety of dishes. Such a great way to try such yummy food. I guess I'll keep having to drive across the valley, because I can't be without my favorite Thai for too long.

Hidden Jem! This place is a bit off the beaten path, but so good. I got Massaman Curry. It ranks up with my favorite Thai restaurant. Will return and recommend you do. They are incredibly friendly!

  • Monica V.

This is my absolute favorite Thai restaurant! It's family owned and operated, and the food never disappoints. My favorite dish is the pad kee mao--it's a stir fried noodle dish with veggies, your choice of meat and deliciously spicy. They can make all the dishes mild to extremely spicy depending on what you like, so no worries if you can't handle the heat. I've also had their laarb, combination fried rice, papaya salad, and a couple of their curries which were all delicious and really authentic.

  • Michael D.

We were in town visiting family and craving Thai food so I looked around on Yelp and chose Thai Delight. This place has great service and great food, everyone loved it. I won't be trying any others, whenever we are in town this is it!

I love the green curry with chicken and tofu. They open late and it is convenient. The price is also reasonable.

  • Latu A.

The best Pho I've had, and I've been everywhere. The service was great, but I was the only one in the restaurant for a late lunch. I plan on going back to try the other dishes. I wouldn't have known they had Pho if it wasn't for a small sign they posted in front of the Reams on 6200. You gotta try it.

Everything is very good especially their curry. Love the masaman and panang curries especially. Every dish we tried is good to excellent. Decor could use some work other than that nothing bad to say.

I love the Thai Delight! I always get the Massaman Curry and Pad Thai. I also really love the Papaya Salad. Great food with really good flavor. Definitely would recommend it!

I absolutely love the food here. Even though I live in California now, whenever I'm back to visit Utah I make a point of stopping here. The Panang curry is exquisite. The place isn't much to look at, but with food that good, who cares?

  • John A.

Was a little skeptical with a strip mall Thai place, but we were blown away with the price, service and food quality. As in other reviews, the Tom Kha Gai was a must order item. Owner made sure we were happy and really made our experience great. Best Thai I've had in Utah.

    (5)
  • Matthew L.

Really, really fabulous Thai. The mom is the cook and each dish she makes is just that much better than 95% of other Thai restaurants. I'd definitely recommend.

    (5)
  • Sergio F.

Been in this restaurant often in the past 5 years, it is awesome taste and quality, never had a problem and restaurant owner is always there checking if you need anything. It is small but really good Thai restaurant. I have been to other Thai restaurants around US, but this one is my favorite by far.

    (5)
  • Diana L.

This place tastes like good home-cooking. Hands down my favorite Thai restaurant on the west side. Get the tom kha gai and the spicy chicken noodle-- you won't be disappointed. Most Thai restaurants in Utah are extremely bland and lack the complexity that Thai food is known for, but Thai Delight's dishes boast exciting, balanced flavors and a spiciness that enhances rather than drowns out flavor. I'm not a fan of their penang-- it's boring and the peas really confuse me. Someone ordered a fried rice once that was not good. The massaman is pretty good and their green curry is hit or miss (really depends on who's making it that day). But for their tom kha gai alone, this place gets five stars.

    (5)
  • Chris O.

Some friends of mine took me out to this place one afternoon for lunch. I never would have found it otherwise...not only is it not in my normal "neck of the woods", but it's sort of tucked up in a strip mall and (as far as I can tell) not really advertised. The food was very good...authentic and tasty.

    (3)
  • Rich H.

Summary based on 1 lunch: --authentic preparation, though not all the usual ingredients (Chinese broccoli/kana, for example) were available --spiciness toned down for American palates. Understandable. --friendly, helpful service --fairly inexpensive --easy parking in adjoining lot --clean bathroom I wish I had read the reviews more closely and had seen that this is really a Northeastern Thai/Isaan place. I might have ordered differently. I don't recall sticky rice on the menu. It's not on the take-out menu.

    (3)
  • Thomas J.

Hard to find authentic Thai. This place has it. It looks like a dive in a strip mall off a major road. Owner was a real friendly guy. Staff was great and service too. Will be back. Food was outstanding!

I had a friend visiting from out of town and we really wanted some delicious thai food. I generally go downtown for good thai, but saw that Thai Delight Cafe had good reviews and was only minutes from my house! We were both blown away! The coconut curry was phenomenal. I had the spicy pad kee mao but I asked for it medium. It was definitely spicy, but a mouthful of delicious flavors! Even the starter soup was perfect! The servers were friendly, relaxed and made us feel like we were part of their family. I'm so excited to have such a delicious thai food restaurant close to home! Everyone should come here. You won't leave disappointed!

  • Rick H.

It is not often that you walk in to a restaurant and almost instantly feel like one of the family. That is exactly how I felt at Thai Delight--a warm and friendly family-owned business. The service was excellent, and I can't overemphasize how friendly they were. The food... I didn't order my favorite Thai dish: green curry. I will have to go back and try that another day. Instead, we ordered a red curry, massaman curry, and a rice dish. And, of course, I had to order a side of sticky rice--I can't get enough of the stuff. All was excellent! The combination of spices and the sweetness of coconut were perfectly balanced. I'd have been ok with a little more heat, but the two friends I was with were not quite as open to that. No problem, sriracha was nearby. All in all, a great meal.

    (5)
  • Francesco P.

I've never had massaman curry that had such great flavor without being too sweet or to saucy. The mango sticky rice is also quality stuff, really good. The only bad thing I could even think to say is that it's not closer to where I live but it's still worth the trip! Any place that caters to a vegan eater is a place to check out, and the service was great, they really make you feel at home.

We were recommended here by a Thai friend. We were greeted by the owner as soon as we walked into the restaurant. The place was not fancy but kinda cute. Service was fast and food preparation was quick. I could not remember what we ordered, something like chicken and beef. And we ordered extra thai spicy for our food. I would say, the food in general was good. The extra thai spicy was what we expected. But there was lacking something in the taste. Nothing too special. Would recommend friends to go if you want to get some ok thai food.

We are visiting from Minneapolis. The food was excellent, we shared yellow curry and spring rolls. The staff was very welcoming. We would come back again.

I grew up in the military and my two best friends mothers were Thai - I may as well be back in their homes when I go to Thai Delight. The food is spectacular and the athmosphere is quite friendly. If you want a taste infusion, this is the Thai place to go! Phad Thai, Panang (or any of the curries), Phad King - all great!

I have enjoyed every dish I have ever tried here, but the Tom Kha Gai soup is out of this world good! The owners are very friendly and the food is better than anything I have had in San Francisco. Never been to Thailand, but I have not had anything n Singapore that rivals the food here.

Went on a mission in Thailand and I can safely say this place has the best Thai food in Utah.

My absolute favorite Thai place in Utah. Having been an LDS missionary in Thailand, I crave authentic Thai food, and this place has the most authentic I've had in Utah. Owned by Laos (well, Isaan - Northwestern Thailand), you'll get very good Neaua Nam Tok (beef waterfall), Laab, or Som Tam (papaya salad) here. I also really like the Coconut Chicken soup (Tom Kha Gai). Keep in mind it's kind of a small, diner-style restaurant, but the food is well worth it. The owners make most of the meals. If you want an even more authentic experience, check out the Asian market a few doors down - in the back they'll make you food, Thai style. The owners of the market are Thai as well - overall, Thai Delight's a great experience if you haven't been there before.

Thai Delight has some of the best Thai food I have ever eaten. The owner is always there as it is a family owned business. Every time I go there (every other week) she greats me with a smile and asks how my family is. Service like this is very unexpected and hard to find any more even at your regular spots. Yes the facility is not five star dining but the food sure is!! Even if you have never tried Thai give this spot a shot, it is worth your time. Ps a great take out spot just off Bangeter highway usually ready in 15 min or less.

This is the best thai restaurant I have found. And the owner remembers everything you have ever ordered. I crave this food and have my friends craving it as well. Beef waterfall I love you!

Went there after reading the reviews here and the food was great. Family owned business, and not very fancy as far as the furniture goes, but great food! Don't take a client there if they're the high maintenance type. But if you want to enjoy some authentic Thai food, then I would recommend eating here. The Chicken Panang Curry was awesome, I always start with that dish 1st whenever going to a new Thai place to have a base comparrison.

Apparently I eat there way too much. The last time I was there the owner came out and just 'made sure' of what I wanted. The chicken/coconut soup, red curry, pad thai, and all of them at the appropriate heat levels. The Sriracha sauce that is normally on the tables was nowhere to be seen. I gues I'll just bring my own next time. I also kind of dig the fried rice with basil and chile. It would benefit from a little less bell pepper though. The satay chicken is usually pretty good also. I am not a real aficianado of Thai cuisine, but I've eaten at perhaps a dozen Thai restaurants and this is the best one in Utah. The place is small. I had thought about taking my coworkers there for our quarterly party and it ain't big enough. It's kind of sparse in fact, but I ain't there to eat the furnishings!

Best Green Curry in Utah! Friendly, family owned restaurant with excellent service. Simple amenities but they make of for that lack of furniture flare in the quality and taste of the food. I really enjoy Thai Delight for lunch but have dined here for dinner too. Both meals are comparable and priced about right.

The beef panang I ordered was really good. It has been a while since I had beef panang, and having it again for the first time was a welcome deja vu. Sweet but not overly. I could tell it was homemade by the vegetables they put it in it (canned or frozen), so something they could slap together from the supermarket. The owner (I initially thought he was a waiter, but apparently, he's the actual owner) had asked me how spicy on a scale of 1 to 5, and I chose 3, which was perfect, with a little pinch but not too much as to make me sweat profusely. (Die hard Thai food fans might deem this not as authentic, but it definitely suits the audience in this area.) Food was a bit pricey, in my opinion, but again, maybe it's because I'm from California and stiff competition helps to push prices down. The owner, however, is very sociable. Had a nice, long talk with him afterward about Thailand, America, life in general, and LAOS. Yes, the owning family is actually Laotian, and I was a bit shocked that the restaurant did not advertise its food as "Lao" as opposed to Thai. But then, when the owner explained that "Lao" food would never sell, as many people don't even know where Laos is, it made sense that he went with "Thai." Oh, what a pity though! If only it was distinctly Lao. It's not every day I get a chance to eat Lao food, at least not outside Vientienne.

I have had Thai food at several restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley, but this little place really tops them all. I had the Paad Se-Eaw. Wow, such HUGE flavor. Excellent food, great prices.

Been several times and though the staff is nice the food quality is sub par. Once I got yellow curry with chicken that was obviously old cause I could taste it over the curry easily. Then my girlfriend convinced me to go again and we got pad Thai that had at least two black hairs buried in it. Won't return wouldn't recommend.

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in the valley. The food is fantastic and the service is good. I got the red curry last time and it was amazing!

Don't be deterred by this restaurant being in a strip mall, the food is delicious! I recommend the Tom Kha soup and the Massaman--once you've tasted them, you'll be hooked... My only complaint is that it's not downtown so I could eat it more often!

I love the food here. The owner and her staff are very friendly. One small thing that I wish would change is their beverage selection. It would be nice to order a beer but they don't have a liquor license. Also, their soft drinks are sold in cans and there are no refills.

This place is fantastic! My wife and I go here 2-3 times a month. The food is wonderful, the ingredients are fresh, they will make it as spicy as you want and the prices are low. The waitress is also the owner and she is great. She is very personable and efficient. I highly recommend this restaurant.
