Mexican Cuisine
If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.
Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.
Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.

Service was pretty good considering today was their soft opening. Management was really focused on details which was great. The decor is typical for Qdoba. Parking will be a challenge for this location.

WOW this place is shitty. Five of us ate here together and none of us enjoyed our meal. Customer service was fine but the food was AWFUL. Bring Chipotle back. Please.

It's as if chipotle and café Rio had a love child. It's all the ingredients of chipotle with the meal choices of Café Rio. If you're looking for bland Mexican food that you won't feel sick eating, this is the place. But if you're looking for flavor and any semblance of authenticity look elsewhere. The most apropos comment of the night came from my husband, "These nachos taste like something I bought at a high school football game." Service was fantastic the restaurant was immaculately clean, but the lack of flavor and originality left us hungry for more.

Sign on the door says open...but doors are locked and no signs of any activity inside! Has this location gone out of business? Really sucks because I love Qdoba and the next closest location is in Vegas!

I really like there tacos! I got chicken and shredded beef and there pretty bomb diggity! My bf got the chicken burrito and he said it was Blane and didn't really care for it however my moms bf loved the burrito, more or less cause its a pretty big burrito! They also have a pretty cool drink machine where you can mix flavors into your soda.. My bf loved that.. Lots of seating and friendly staff!

I agree with the other reviews. Management played close attention to detail. Good food, good customer service. We ate the hard shell tacos and they were very yummy. We really liked the guacamole (included!) and the grilled veggies and chicken.

I read great reviews about this place, so my husband and I gave it a try. It really wasn't worth the money. We ordered the smothered burritos, sure they were decent sized, but totally tasteless. No flavoring on the shredded beef I ordered or the steak burrito my husband ordrered, and the sauce was worse. My Chipotle sauce had no flavor at all, and the chili sauce on my husband's burrito tasted like a whole bottle of chili powder had been dumped in it, not very good at all, don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.

We tried eating here at 1pm on a Sunday. Their posted hours are 10:30am-9pm on Sunday's, yet they were closed for unknown reasons. A restaurant should never be closed during business hours. I love Qdoba and was really looking forward to a chicken queso burrito on my way back to Salt Lake City especially since there are no locations in SLC. Very disappointing.

The service here is fantastic--very personal and very helpful. I had the Mexican gumbo, and I'd definitely recommend it.

This was right by my hotel so I ventured out for a bite to eat! Good food but the service just made a new patron of me! Issac was great and helpful, plus he organized my tacos in a way that only a true fan of food can appreciate. The small details really added up to make a quality experience! Thanks again Isaac! You deserve a raise and or promotion!

Food - 2 stars at best. Quality is not good and no taste or flavor. Got the quesadilla and some tortilla soup. Couldn't even finish it. Service - 4.5/5 Cleanliness - 5/5.

We Learned that qdoba started in Denver around the same time as chipotle. Chipotle was picked up by McDonald's while keep qdoba was picked up by Jack-in-the-Box. The lineup is very similar to chipotle. You can choose between white lime or brown rice, black or pinto beans, mild medium or hot sauce, etc. The difference between chipotle and qdoba is the stickiness of the tortilla and the spices. Qdoba feels more Mexican while chipotle feels more white-american Mexican. As an added bonus, qdoba has cholula hot sauce and Tabasco, whereas chipotle only has Tabasco. All in all, the differences are minimal. They're both fast chain Mexican joints and taste good.

The building was really clean the employees were friendly. I feel like they didn't really load up my burrito they could have made it bigger. I thought it was expensive for what I got. I would prefer going to Durango's or cafe Rio. The burrito needs more balance the guacamole was all to one side of my burrito. Overall not a huge fan.
