Huge place with a live band and great service. Surprisingly empty for the night we came. Had a great cowboy ribeye and would definitely come back when in town.

Came here after a day at Bryce Canyon and capitol reef national parks. Place is really nice inside and very large. We came on an off season Wednesday in late October and it was quiet but still very inviting. We went for me nachos and she warned us they were a large portion but this plate was huge. SO GOOD. Wish I could have finished them but next came the buffalo meatloaf and that was also amazingly good. My girlfriend had the brisket sandwich and that too was outstanding. The food is very reasonably priced for the portion. I would definitely recommend this place and if I'm ever back in Torrey I will come again. Thanks Karla! We had a great time!

I dont know how cowboys bars should look like but this was the closest we got during our trip through Utah. The space is huge!!!! We had dinner here on Sunday night and it was quiet but we still liked it. I wish we had visited on Fri or Sat when they had live music! Dinner was really good. Huge portions! We had deep fried pickles, bison meatloaf and beef bbq ribs! Each entree comes with two sides. Staff was really friendly too! If we are ever back in Torrey we would definitely dine here again!! It may look like a warehouse from outside but dont get discouraged and give it a go! Great place!

Bad food and customer service. This one star is based on the experience I had at the restaurant. I ordered the slow cooked ribs ($22) and it came out way way too salty, so salty that it was inedible. I had only a few bites of the ribs and could only eat the polenta at the bottom, which was the only non-too-salty component. 10 minutes after the food came out the waitress asked how my food tasted. I told her that it was way too salty and she proceeded to take the plate away and asked if I wanted something else instead. Thinking the "instead" part indicated that it was a replacement, I ordered the bison burger ($15, edible but just OK). Moments later, the same waitress came back and said they would offer a discount on both dishes (no mention of how much discount). That should have been a negative sign, but I gave them the benefit of doubt of giving a reasonable discount and said OK. The bill came and almost funnily, the total discount was about $5... Meaning that I was expected to pay $32 for a dish they willingly took back and the $15 replacement. I didn't fight this at the restaurant because I didn't want to make a scene, but seriously??! This showed that they were unwilling to take constructive criticism and cannot deal with customer dissatisfaction. Stay away.

Wow! Good stuff! We had chicken black bean quesadillas and pork chili! excellent! Good beers! Less good wines but it's a cowboy bar! And I went for the house wine! The room was amazing. Huge! Bison heads? Yuk! Tractor Seats and Roy and Dale! Yeah!

I recently visited the Saddlery during a visit to Capital Reef Park. We arrived on Thursday after 9 PM and this was pretty much the only place that was open. After checking in to our hotel, we arrived 30 minutes before closing time which in my experiences does not always get you a welcome with open arms. This was not the case here. Gerri held the doors open and welcomed us in. We had been driving for 10 hours and hadn't had a meal all day. We were starving! The portions here were huge. It is a little on the pricy side as a previous review mentioned, but in my opinion, for what you get it wasn't out of line. I had the Bison Meatloaf with the Spinach and Corn Casserole. My beer was good, my food was good, but by far the best part of my Saddlery experience was Gerri. She was one of the best servers I've had anywhere ever. She was pleasant, attentive, and met our needs before we had to ask for things. I really appreciated that we were welcomed and not rushed even though it was so close to the end of their night. Also, the saddle bar stools were fun! If I'm ever back in the middle of nowhere Utah, I will definitely go back there!

WOW ! Was not expecting such a delicious meal in the middle of Utah. Started with the Green Chili/tortilla appetizer, it was incredible. Very spicy, tasty, flavorful and with probably the tastiest tortilla I have ever had. Next up was the rib-tacos, out of this world. Who is the chef here ? Awesome-sauce. Dessert was a pear/rhubarb crumble with ice cream, another winner topped with edible flowers. Although this is a cowboy bar, its clean has free music and plenty of seating. Its a little odd for us but in a good way. Great food, do yourself a favor and dont let the warehouse type look from the outside steer you away. Cheers -

Key word: expensive. From $16.00 burgers to $32.00 16oz steaks and $5.00 draft domestics? I didn't expect Ruth Chris prices for a spot in the middle of rural Utah. For fine dining pricing I'll stick with Park City and Salt Lake. Much more value for the buck.

Best country bar in Southern Utah. Live music most nights with a nice dance floor. Saddles for bar stools, plus tons of table and booth seating. Pool tables and a full bar. The talking piece of the night though is definitely the full size mounted bull in the entry. The food is good, prices reasonable and service friendly. I would have like a bit more selection on the menu, I'm not a beef eater (I know it's a steakhouse) so more chicken and fish options would have been nice. I was also surprised that Rocky Mountain Oysters weren't on the menu, seems like it would have been a good fit.

Unreal how good the food here was! This is not bar food, this is 5 star quality. We had the sirloin (that was so perfectly cooked and seasoned I have not had any better for even twice the price) and the short ribs that were melt in your mouth delicious, and also perfectly seasoned. Right down to the homemade guacamole, ridiculous polenta, and spectacular coleslaw, everything could have not been better. Wow. You must eat here. Period. Ambiance is very cool and service was great!

The Nachos were killer, great size for the $ and awesome flavors/toppings. I would get this for a meal and I can pound the food. Comfortable to share with 4 people and still eat your entree. Friends ordered the Quesadillas -- WOW! Had I known I may have tried one of those, didn't realize how big and tasty they would be. I had to go with 16 oz Prime Rib and I WAS SO GLAD I DID! SO TASTY. I asked for medium rare, it came out more medium well... but it was still so juicy and great. Had the coleslaw and corn cakes... Slaw was good, interesting creamy twist... not my fave. The corn cakes just didn't do it for me either. Their complimentary Corn Bread muffins were better in my opinion and had I known those were offered, I would have ordered some other side.

Great food! Delicious steak salad, blood orange margarita and live country western music. Please patronize this oasis in the Utah desert and help them thrive.

I didn't expect this great of food out in little Torrey, but we just had a great dinner. The bison meatloaf was good and portions are hearty as you might expect at a "cowboy" place. Prices are reasonable for the quality and location. Mixed drinks are a tad pricey, but they have a good beer selection. I had to laugh at buying a "polygamy porter" in Utah!

Works for me! Sitting in saddles at the bar is a bonus. I will make no attempt to understand Utah liquor laws but this place has a full license as opposed to a restaurant license so it makes things easier for ordering. The beer list is long enough to make anyone happy and though we only had appetizers they were very good and the portions were huge -- perhaps too much so. It would be interesting to see this place on a Friday night as we were there not only during the week but also on an off hour so it was basically empty. I hope they make it for the long term!

We loved this place! Can't believe we could get such a great meal with great service in such an isolated place! We split the ribeye sandwich and grandma's chopped salad. The portions were large and splitting the sandwich and salad ( a meal in itself!) was plenty for my husband and I. The ribeye was tender and cooked to perfection. The chopped salad was a taste treat. It combined fresh mixed greens, crumbled blue cheese, dried cranberries, slightly sweetened toasted pecans with homemade creamy maple dressing. The taste combination is amazing! The sweet maple complements the blue cheese. Wished I lived closer and could come back. Looks like the place to party on the weekend!

Great food. In our opinion, the best restaurant in Torrey. Our server was Karla and she was very welcoming and friendly. Although we didn't order drinks, we were still treated well -- not like other restaurants in Torrey. The rib eye steak sandwich was a perfect medium rare and delicious. The game hen was also nicely prepared and the polenta was great. The only complaint would have been the Cobb salad -- the avocado was bad. Will definitely be back.

So nice to find a great cowboy restaurant & bar with live music on the weekends. This place is HUGE! Large portions-my husband & I split the meatloaf & were completely satisfied. Our server was very attentive & the beer & wine selection was good! There are pool tables, saddle bar stools & a nice dance floor! Will definitely go back next time we're in town. Wish we had a place like this in St George!!!

A real bar in Utah? hell yeah. Ooops, sorry. And really big and friendly, just a bit noisy. They could do with some acoustical tile, but Mr. B loved it. This obviously does not cater to the Mormon influence here, more to the wild cowboy set...a huge bar set right smack dab in the middle of a high ceiling 'd warehouse sized room, live Country Western music on weekends, dart boards and pool tables and a large gathering of mostly rowdy good ol' guys in ball caps and cowboy hats. Add to that the mounted bison heads on the wall, the bucking bull (no dear, that is NOT a cow) that greets you at the entry, and bar seats that are real leather saddles, and you get the picture. Wild, wild west...yup. This place is open until real late and located on the outskirts of town. Highly desireable location for all the riff raff, of which we are now included. We shared a rib eye steak sandwich with steak fries, totalled a few of their signature drinks, and did not miss a beat when the waitress announced she had buttermilk pecan pie. It was all real good.

5 stars for the bar, the decor, ambience, pool tables and live music. The food and service brought out overall experience down a bit. Our server warned us they were short staffed, and she was right. It took a while to get drinks and food, and I finally had to go in to the bar to pay the bill. We did sit outside which was pleasant. The food was okay. I ordered a braised short rib dish in a green pepper sauce which was a little deceiving. I expected meat slow cooked on the bone. What I got was a pile of shredded braised beef on top of a big cleaned up rib bone. They serve prime rib on the weekend and maybe this a way to use the meat they don't sell. They serve braised short rib tacos too which is basically the same idea. It was served on a bed of polenta and the sauce was a brown beef jus with some peppers in it. The bison burger was flavorful and juicy, the sides were fine and the beer was cold. Live music was a nice bonus. This is a really nice bar space with interesting decor. The music and pool tables make this a fine place to have a good time.

Not to many choices in this area. The place is great as far as atmosphere. The service was terrible. We were a party of 14 and we all sat at the bar. Bartender had to be called over every time we needed a drink. Not friendly or customer service oriented at all. The food took forever and we all ordered at separate times. Besides the service being terrible the food was good. Bartender was terrible and the food took forever and we spent a lot of money for crapy service.
