My wife and I ate here a couple of weeks ago while driving around and we loved it. We entered right in the middle of a rush, but we were sat quickly and given chips and salsa and beverages right away. The staff was polite and accommodating. The food was very good. Hell, I would go back just for the beans. Good sized portions, it's inexpensive and they don't rush you like a turn and burn. Definitely going back

Stopped in for lunch one day while visiting family nearby. I'd never been to this chain but my girlfriend had been to this location as well as several others growing up here years ago. I loved the chips! VERY thin and crispy and seasoned with what I can only imagine is a chili powder of some sort and salt. I really liked it. I had the green chili chicken chimichanga and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't swimming in sauce, but there was enough there to know I ordered it green. The tortilla was hot and crisp and the filling inside was quite tasty. I tried the colorado chili(red) my GF had with hers and it was one of the best, if not the best, reds I've ever had in my life and I don't even like red sauce. The service was okay, nothing wrong with it, nothing over the top exemplary either.

Awesome bean and cheese burritos smother with green chilies and cheese. Always good, one of the best places to eat in Tooele.

Haven't been here for awhile but we were really craving some good Mexican food and they didn't disappoint! Hearty portions, made to order and tasted great. Hubby and I got the "order of two" and split it! We still took home some leftovers. Service was okay, nothing to celebrate or praise. We'll be back for sure.

Terrible salty food, chips bathed in some red spice. The wait staff seems lackadaisical. My wife's chicken taco had congealed chicken fat in it. We will never eat here again. Edit- I wrote this review sitting at the table. I couldn't find anyone to refill my drink. I walked back to the soda dispenser and refilled my own. Someone, I guess she was the manager, bitched me out because "the health department would be on them if they saw that." I told her that if they would refill my drink it wouldn't happen.

Its not my favorite, but I havn't had bad service here. My boyfriend loves it, I mean its ok, but I am not in love with it. The amount of food you get for the money is good, it has always been served hot, I dont have any complaints there. I have to say it has gotten better over the years in my opinion, it could use a remodel, the atmosphere isnt good. I know alot of people who love this place and I am surprised with the low reviews.

I only have two things to say terrible and horrible service. The food is bland and some of it was cold when served to us . recommend going somewhere else ..

I read the reviews and gave this place the benefit of the doubt. We just moved to the area and had always gone to la luna in West Jordan. The prices and food quality are better in West Jordan. I thought the salsa was okay nothing special. The chicken in my meal was a little cold and the service wasn't very good. I was still polite and tipped well as usual but I won't go back. I will say the guacamole was alright that's probably why I gave two stars instead of one. If I was forced to go back I'd settle for some chips and guac that's about it.

Very little pork in the chile verde and $2.50 diet coke that was no more than brown water....for $30?

This place was not good. I went in with a friend on a Sunday evening. The service was not welcoming and a tad slow. Really what you go to a restaurant for it food though. Don't go to this place if that's what your looking for. The scariest part, that almost made me walk out, was a salsa substance in a squeeze bottle. I had the enchilada carnitas. It was ok with bad canned sauce and beans. The only good thing is if you like cheese, was they have a ton in this dish. My friend had the steak fajitas and he said they were edible. Don't go their, go down the road.

WTF!? The service is horrible! Gross food, never coming here again...smothered chimichangas looks like someone blew chunks all over them. The chicken fajitas were too oily! Oh yeah, our waiter threw the chimichangas down on the table, I almost thought he was going to punch me!

Terrible food. Flies were everywhere and we noticed that the health department certification had expired over 6 months ago.

Mexican Cuisine

If you enjoy Taco Tuesday, then you have officially fallen in love with the Mexican Food. The main grain of Mexican cuisine is maize. Also known as corn, maize is grown for the past 9000 years after the crop was discovered by the people in Mayan civilization. Mexican empire flourished when they started growing beans, tomatoes, chili pepper, sweet potato and cactus. Till this date these ingredients are used in cooking authentic Mexican dishes and drinks.

Great use of spices, fresh chili pepper dishes like fajitas, tortilla chips, corn chips, salsa, chimichangas, burritos, nachos and quesadillas are invented in America. But when you are looking for authentic Mexican food then you must find a restaurant in the city that serves Rajas con Queso, Garbanzo in a Guajillo Chile Sauce, Pork Filled Chiles Rellenos, Chiles en Nogada, Molcajete Salsa, Pico de Gallo and Frijoles de la Olla. An eye-opening fact – Mexican don't like their food hot. They use fresh chili and other spices to create a flavor that lingers in your mouth.

Mexican food is great for those who are Gluten Intolerant as they use Corn instead of wheat in most of their dishes. Also, you can easily find many beans based Mexican dishes. Another dish which didn't get similar glory as tacos or nachos is the Mexican hot chocolate. If you love something hot on a chilly day, then go for Mexican Hot Chocolate. On merry days, you can enjoy the authentic Mexican Drinks like Tequila, Mezcal, Tecuí, Sotol, Bacanora, Charanda, Posh O Pox, Puebla and Pulque. Mexican Cuisine is for people who enjoy strong drinks and hearty meals.
