This place is one step above a hospital cafeteria. The food tastes like it all comes out of a can. The appearance of the food is not appetizing. The liquid in the chocolate and caramel fountains is thin and runny. This is a place for people who like to eat NOT people who actually like good food. I don't know why we came here. Like Michael M said in his review - it IS the Golden Hog Trough!

I like stopping here while traveling I-15. The food is always consistent and the servers friendly. Heck i stop for the pot roast and mash potatoes. Get the extra large drink and refill for the road. And a take an ice cream cone to go.

This buffet is very good. They also have fresh steak, fresh ham and grilled fish with variety of food. The interior design is also nice and the environment is cool. The food is also good. About 30 minutes from zion national park and we went there in our way fron zion ntl park to Las Vegas. I have beem in many buffets but I think the quality of this one is better. Seniors get 1$ discount. You will be charged for the drink as other buffets, 1.99$/glass of soda, free refill though.

On Saturday, the price of the buffet is $12 for adults and $5 for kids. The selection of food was pretty good for the price. I liked the grilled sirloin steak and was pleasantly surprised to see they also served pancakes, bacon, sausage, and eggs for lunch too. They had a good selection at the salad bar and the desserts were delicious too. The service was very attentive and friendly. Will come back again if in the area.

The food was awful. The staff was awful. The other patrons were awful - especially after they dropped food, or sneezed in it. The only decent person in this entire establishment was Carlos, our server. He cleared our plates as soon as we put them down and refilled our drinks as soon as they got low. He was the only saving grace in this place where the food was overcooked and bland.

Last time I ate here I watched a child sneeze directly into a dish in front of wait staff and instead of replacing the dish in the buffet, they just added more to it and stirred it. 1 star for cleanliness, would be

This was my first Golden Corral experience. As far as I could tell there was nothing that made it better than any other buffet in its category. The service was nice, there was a lot food options but nothing outstanding, the restaurant was fairly clean. The temperature of some of the dishes were not as warm as I would normally like them. This type of establishment would usually get a 2 from me but the service brought this place up to a 3rd star.

Probably the best golden corral I've ever been to. Usually have good steaks and some decent seafood. Good variety of desserts. My biggest complaint is how crowded it can be during peak times. They put tables so close together it can be difficult getting in and out of your seat without bumping into people around you at other tables.... too close.

solid 4 star - food better than at the other Golden Corral I've been to, friendly service and good people (I left my wallet in the restroom and they returned it to me in one piece)

I got to be honest, as a vegetarian who hates bland American food...I am so sick of this place. But my meat eating family dreams of it and raves of it. I can't be too uppity about it...the potatoes and biscuits are always delicious and its been consistently good quality food. The new chocolate fountain and cotton candy have been motivators for me to go a little more. I must admit one thing, despite my sickness with this place, is that the waiters are always good. A lot of people don't know you tip buffet waiters, but they do do stuff (bring you drinks and plates and clear away your old ones.) They've always been very kind and sometimes gone beyond the call of duty (one guy helped us on break, another found out when the steaks would be done.) Great service, which is generally rare let alone at buffets.

No one in the car wanted to eat here other than my mother so of course we ate here.(Mothers always win) Well, what can I say it was a buffet,...living in Vegas I'm sure you understand how cheap buffets no longer excite me. Everything was o.k. nothing great at all, well except for their honey rolls. Those rolls drenched in honey butter were delicious. I even rolled four in a napkin and put it in my purse, for safe keeping of course!!! Would I go back? No, I'm just not interested, I've tried it and I'm done.

Always great to come here - our server Jory, was extremely helpful and came to our service immediately. Not as much selection as I remember, but everything we ate was deliciously prepared. This unfortunately is the closest one to our place, so we always have to make this trip. Nothing to complain about here.

It's alright, good value. Now I love buffets but better Golden Corrals exist. The service is great but their food is limited compared to others in both flavour and variety, don't get me wrong, if you are really hungry and like cheap food then this is the place for you. Great value for money indeed.

This was my first, and hopefully last experience at a Golden Corral. I was informed that it was about on par with Chuck-O-Rama, which isn't my favorite but it isn't completely horrible when I am drug there for family events; Golden Corral however, is an e-coli or perhaps salmonella outbreak waiting to happen. Cross contamination galore as far as the eye could see, and my brother-in-law and I actually saw a kid put his whole arm in the chocolate fountain. 'Nuff said.

Great selection. Awesome salad bar with low carb options. Great grilled to order tilapia, shrimp and crab cakes. Fresh grilled sirloin. Kids loved the cotton candy and chocolate fountain. Good buffet choice.

The food was horrible. Big waste of money. "Manager" was chit chatting with employees in the middle of your way. Employees carelessly busting thru the kitchen door which is by where customers are getting their food. Blonde server girl was good though. Hence the one star. Place seemed like they invested all revenue into the chocolate fondue.

For years this place was very good but for the past year has steadily declined in food quality. Although there is a large selection of different items, most of them are flavorless and very over cooked. At the dinner hour they run out of lots of food items and usually it takes several minutes to replenish them. Sometimes you can wait an hour and some items still aren't available. You'll have a much better dining experience up the street at the Chuck-a-rama.

Been here twice. Last year on the way to Zion National Park and a couple Saturdays ago on the way to Snow Mountain State Park. Living in the buffet capital of the world, I would trade Golden Corral for some of the mid level Vegas buffets. In my opinion the selection and quality of the food was good. I was impressed with the breakfast buffet. On a Sunday, when many of the Vegas buffets grossly overcharge people for their champaigne gimmick buffets, Golden Corral is reasonably priced at approximately $10, after a beverage. A beverage is $1.99 with bottomless refills. I appreciated that I could drink coffee and cola. Refills were prompt. The coffee met my expectations. What I most appreciated about the Golden Corral breakfast buffet was the salad bar. After a sampling of the breakfast staples, I went for the healthy food at the salad bar. On another note, the Golden Corral gets crowded. As Justin. E noted, the seats are close together. This could be annoying for people that want their space or don't enjoysqueezing between chairs Golden Corral is okay. Still, I'd trade a mid level Vegas buffet for a Golden Corral any day.

Service was excellent, food was delicious, whole family left stuffed and happy! Loved the yeast rolls, bourbon chicken, pot roast, and brussel sprouts! Kids loved the chocolate fountains (white, milk, and caramel) and cotton candy!

This is the second time this has happened and it bugs me. I'm at the cash register and I am asked if I am a senior. It will be more than 10 years from now before I consider that rare honor. I am more active and healthier than guys half my age! Since I have never had kids or grand-kids I still feel and act like a young person. I don't Golf, sleep in, eat dinner at 4 p.m. or have Blue Hair. It seems to me that a better way would be to give Senior Discount/Loyalty cards to their regular customers or Default to giving the discount to anyone who might be too old to remember to bring their card. And to be fair the cashier did try to be delicate about the question but it bugged me then and still does bug me so something must be wrong with the policy as I can't be the only one that feels and acts this way.

Watching some of the patrons packing it away, this place should be renamed "Golden Corral Hog Trough"! What can I say? it's a cheap buffet. The staff is surprisingly friendly and efficient. I've been twice; I go there when I want cheap fried fish. Call me crazy.

Every once in a while we eat cheap, and a bargain for buffet at $10.99. The food seems fresh enough, different than that found in Vegas, and more home style, like mom would make. The fresh rolls are served warm and just out of the oven, they cannot keep them coming. The salad bar is great if you want to watch calories, but if not the deserts are excellent with banana pudding. Like I said, home style. Good clean, always busy.

Its a buffet, so don't expect the most incredible food in the world. I'm not someone who eats buffet, but if you are interested in gorging yourself and can't fill your gut at a regular restaurant, then this is your place.

This was my 2nd visit, and witnessing the fascinating and frightening feeding frenzies going on at Golden Corral in St. George, Utah was just as amazing as the first time. My in-laws tremble and get a wild look in their eyes and start salivating spontaneously when they hear the G.C. name mentioned (for the record, the same thing happens when ANY buffet is mentioned), so despite my wife and I pleading to eat at a Thai restaurant, or really ANYPLACE else, they always get their way (well, twice so far) and insist we hit it when we drive up from their charming home in Mesquite, Nevada to see the mediocre shows at the spectacular outdoor theater called Tuacan in St. George, Utah. I know now where all the massively overweight people I've seen on cruise ships go when they're not at sea! Their formidable carcasses are parked in front of the carving stations and chocolate fountains at this restaurant. There are more morbidly obese people inside Golden Corral at any given moment than in all of Europe. I'm sorry to emphasize this! I actually have several very heavyweight friends. I consider Sumo wrestling to be one of the greatest sports in the world and love that Hawaiian guy who sings the ukulele version of "Over the Rainbow," but it's always shocking to see people who look like they could survive 6 months in the wild on nothing but acorns and creek water eating plate after plate piled with pizza pies, animal legs, mystery looking cream blobs and various forms of grease-drenched birds, cattle, sea creatures and deep-fried tubers. Amazingly, my wife and I had reasonably enjoyable vegan meals this time! My first plate was piled with cabbage, lima beans, cauliflower, broccoli and salsa. My second plate involved expertly picking around the cross-contaminated salad bar and using the tasty, spicy salsas once again, this time as a dressing. I heard there were baked potatoes but I was screened out both times I tried to find them by a phalanx of human marshmallows circling the roast beef like a pack of starved hammerheads. And finally, dessert consisted of watermelon, watermelon and more watermelon! It was so good! Crispy, sweet, cold crunchy...mmmmm, and it was even better once you wiped off the cheddar cheese, pot roast drippings, pie crust and chicken wings that slid off people's plates into pretty much everything that wasn't far back under the spit shields. We had a very attentive waitress tending to our beverage needs and (writer's embellishment) giving CPR to my in-laws each time they passed out from a rich plate of comestibles. I have a funny feeling that more Heimlich Maneuvers have been performed at this Golden Corral than anywhere else in restaurant history. So, bravo! Golden Corral. You are feeding people, whether they need food or not and doing it with smiles and old fashioned Utah hospitality.

Good wide selection of food. Ordered off the full menu rather than the combo plates. The hot and our soup was absolutely excellent and the Egg Drop soup was very good. Kung Poa beef, lots of beef but too sweet, not spicy. Very edible but not Kung Poa flavour. The Chicken and Shrimp dish with Rice noodles had exactly the same flavour profile as the Kung Poa beef. Lots of food but not really impressed with the two major dishes. If it was all on par with the soup it would be great. Service was okay but not outstanding in any way. 3 of 5 stars Value 4 of 5 stars Atmosphere 3 of 5 stars Service 3 of 5 stars Food
