Best Hawaiian BBQ grill in the state of Utah, hands down. A little more expensive than Mo' Bettahs and L&Ls, but you're paying for the larger portion sizes. My favorite dish here is their garlic chicken and kalbi spare ribs. Location is kind of random. Very little space in the actual restaurant, most will sit outside on the picnic tables in the veranda, if you can call it that. Despite the location and their set up, the food is awesome and authentic. If they weren't so far from where I live, I'd probably come here at least once a week.

Yummy food, friendly staff! The garlic chicken tastes great, and the loco moco is big! Well worth the price. Inside seating is small, but they have a nice outside patio with more than enough seating. Seems like it could be better maintained and decorated more however (I think they were undergoing renovations when I went) but they do have a stage that I'm assuming is for live performances! "I don't think I can have another loco moco someplace else" -my friend after finishing his plate.

Ohana is the closest you are gonna get to authentic Hawaiian food. You gotta try the garlic chicken with a mango otai to wash it down! You'll be addicted from the first bite!

BOMB.COM We were on a cross country roadtrip and had only eaten trout the night before. I found Ohana grill on Yelp, and directed our vehicle in that direction. I was a little skeptical to find hawaiian food in Utah, but based on pictures, gave this place a go. We were a little thrown off as we has arrived right when they opened, and said none of their breakfast offerings were available (neither was the Masubi). No worries. My boyfriend opted for the Katsu plate, and i had the Terri Beef/Katsu Combo. The pricing was decent and comparable to other hawaiian plate lunch places i've frequented. The cashier was friendly, no complaints here. The real FIVE STAR reason for this place is what it should be,THE FOOD. Oh my, the terri beef was sweet and plentiful, the meat was delish. My boyfriend and I both thought the katsu was breaded to perfection, and the chicken was still juicy and tender. Deliciousness aside, the portions were out of this world, I made two meals of of this thing. Definitely a must try!

I don't understand how this business stays open. They are never open. They're closed every time I drive by. I think they close at 2 on Saturdays. Pretty crappy prices for not very great food.

So damn good. My must go when I visit a client in the area. Mango otai and garlic chicken is the BOMB! The food a very reasonably priced. The otai is expensive but you can tell they loaded the drink up with at least two big mangos per cup.

Yesterday a friend and I were craving island food. A quick search led us to Ohana Grill. It was well worth the 30 minute drive. I got the Garlic Chicken and it was just as good as on Oahu! The portions are huge so I made two meals out of it. I will definitely be back. Also, on Fridays they have free chocolate cake which was also very delicious!

Yes the garlic chicken is the bomb, thigh meat with a yummy crisp. The watermelon drink was also very good. Lots of food for the $.

Yes 5 stars. 5 stars is not for a place where you like every dish. When you find the one you like and start to dream about your next visit then you have earned 5 stars. Garlic Chicken is the bomb! But the sheer weight of your meal makes me smile when I am handed my bag of food. I know from that my I am getting my money's worth of fine Hawaiian eats.

Nice little gem in a small town i would have never guessed would have such a thing. Great spot for a road trip lunch if you tired of the monotonous fast food. Monster portions - especially the katsu which was fried to perfection.

If you like to spend a lot of time waiting for a take out and 12 dollars on a big portion of Really Tough /fatty short ribs , then you would enjoy that place . Me personally not impressed at all .

This was our first time here. I had the short rib and garlic chicken plate. Short ribs were really good and I highly recommend them. Marinated quite well and cooked just the way I like it, medium well. The garlic chicken was my favorite from the sauce to the chicken being moist and crispy. The portions are large so you might have to cut the chicken in halves. The complimentary cake was great and moist with a nice whipped cream frosting. We will definitely come back to this island hole in the wall hidden treasure.

So I went here on a recommendation from a Polynesian friend. The food was about 10 dollars a meal and we ordered the garlic chicken which was suggested by the guy at the counter. It's a pretty casual place and it seems pretty tiny with the seating outdoors in a kind of covered patio. It wasn't cold the day I came but I don't know what it would be like in full winter. The food was served in styrofoam containers and would be easy to carry out. The food itself was pretty good. The chicken is served with rice and a pasta salad. I'm definitely not an expert on poly food but there were a lot of islanders eating there as well so that's a good sign

Wow! For about $10 you get a huge plate of food! The rice was just rice, but then the macaroni salad was delicious. The meat was incredible, we got the crispy garlic chicken and super tender pork. New favorite restaurant :)

Hands down THE BEST Hawaiian food restaurant in Utah. No question about It. I have tried every one in Utah and Salt lake valley. Ohana grill destroys their competition in taste, variety, and size. If you are questioning the cost trust me it's worth it. Another bonus is they are extremely fast and friendly.

Best island food around. Garlic chicken is to die for, chicken katsu is buttery and flakey. there's free cake Friday's so that's always a great day to go! this has become my go to for island food, tastes just like it did in the islands.

So ONO!!!! That's all you need to know. Come hungry, and they will feed you well. Got the kalbi, garlic chicken, and the katsu. Everything was delicious! And the free cake was just an added bonus :)

LOVED this place. I went here on a breakfast date and they were so kind and so fun to talk to! The coconut syrup is seriously the best syrup I've ever had. They give huge portions, so come famished. The placement of the restaurant is just perfect. It's right at the foot of a few mountains so while you're eating you can look out at the beautiful scenery. I would recommend this place to ANYONE. Go and enjoy the down to earth atmosphere, friendly people, and delicious food!

First time! Been meaning to try this place for a long time! Glad I finally did! Love the service, very friendly! free cake is usually on Fridays I've heard, but we got to have some on SATURDAY! Better then the one in PROVO, (found a nasty hair in my Mac salad, and I've never been back!)

Best place to eat in the state of Utah for island grindz! Everything here tastes good.

The meat here is awesome. As mentioned in other reviews, the portions are HUGE. We honestly could have easily shared one combination plate for two adults and one child. The wait was pretty long, but it was obviously freshly made, so it was understandable. Just saying be prepared for a long wait (I waited for about 25 minutes). Next time we go for take out, I'll try calling ahead since there's not really a good place to wait. We also didn't get any sauce for our katsu chicken (which without the sauce is essentially just like "chicken fried chicken"). It was still juicy and well made, but I'll be sure to ask for sauce next time.

I had the garlic chicken and wasn't very impressed. It was super fried and dried out. You get two scoops of white rice that is nothing special. The macaroni salad was bland. Saturday nights they close early at 5pm just FYI.

Ho brah was soo good and onolicious, it broke da mouth. Auntie and Uncle so nice and they give free cake on Friday. This place is my new jam. The garlic chicken is close to Papa Ole's garlic chicken in Hauula. They serve poké too! Goffo try em brah!

Whether you're from any part of the Polynesian islands or from this great big island called America :) you will feel like home at Ohana Grill. Come taste flavors like you've never experienced. Everything on the menu tells a different story of poly greatness. Ohana Grill has a loyalty punch card to get a free plate. They do it right, and they do it big. Nobody leaves hungry. In the spring thru fall months you can eat under the front patio where I'm sure you will find a poly willing to explain what you're eating. The experience at Ohana Grill cannot be beat. Other Polynesian grill places won't even come close. Big ups to the Ohana Grill crew. Home away from home.

This place is awesome! Great flavor, great food, great customer service. Big portions of food, but well worth getting more than you can handle because you will want all of it. And if you don't, I definitely do!!

Hands down the best island style plate lunch restaurant in Utah. Nice little family ran mom & pop shop. Owner's are originally from Hawaii, and it is clearly evident in the food. Huge portions for an awesome price. Cant wait to go back!

So good! A pleasant surprise. This is place is a piece of Hawaii! A hidden gem. Huge portions.

Very large portions. Very great food. Authentic and delicious. I've tried about half the menu, and haven't been disappointed at all. The seating is just like you'd find over in Hawaii, out door, which in the winter time can be a bit chilly but well worth it. They have heaters they turn on if you stay. Great place, great people. Try it out and see for yourself.

Some of the best Polynesian food that I've had from a restaurant. The portions are big. The sauce is delicious. The meat is cooked perfectly. It's like I'm going to my grandma's or a big luau. It's the same taste of authenticity. I will definitely go back.

We got the chicken katsu and teriyaki beef and absolutely loved them both, the plus they were super reasonably priced!

  • Joe L.

Serving sizes are large, be prepared to share! Tasty food, I need to branch out and try some of the other items on the menu even if I don't know what they are. There isn't any indoor seating so in the winter you will probably do pick up and take it with you.
